St Mary's Church, Thornton-le-Moors. Zenit E. Ilford FP4.

From certain angles the village of Thornton-le-Moors in Cheshire is quite aesthetically. Depending on where you point your camera it can look like a quaint countryside paradise. But take a step back and it become obvious that it exists in the shadow of the Stanlow Oil Refinery.

With this in mind I framed my shots carefully when I went to take photos of St Mary's Church. Sadly the weather was quite dull.

Visited St Mary's at Harley. Beautiful little village.

The church has box pews which are unusual around here.

Church Lane and St Mary's Mews

If you are new to Stafford, but are familiar with Helen and Mark's shop at 10 Church Lane (Gifted with Heavenly Helen) and home to Gifted Stafford Ghost TV

You'll know that they run nightly investigations in the building (which dates back to the 15th Century), trying to capture the spirits and ghosts that haunt the building.

At the top of Church Lane there is a church called St Mary's and there is also the foundations of St Bertelin's Chapel that was once on the site of the church.

St Bertelin's Chapel was built around 1,000 AD.

I'm going to share with you photos I took and a video of extreme interest. Which could hopefully unlock the mysteries of 10 Church Lane and it's paranormal residents.

There are quite a few photos to go through so they will appear in another post coming soon.

In the meantime keep your mind open and your senses on high alert you just do not know what hides beyond the veil.
