A 34 pound bag of dog food (our norm) for my senior dane, delivered on Sunday morning. Thank you USPS and Amazon.❣⁣

We camped out in the living room last night because... Saturday night fun in quarantine. 😁

📦 TIPS:⁣

🔸️Bring packages inside or into the garage ASAP. Leaving things outdoors is not ideal in uncertain times.⁣

🔸️Use gloves to handle / move packages & mail then dispose of the gloves & wash your hands.⁣

🔸️Touch as few things as possible. Use your feet to scoot things. Don't rub packages against your clothes, etc⁣

🔸️Bring things inside to a "safe area" where people & pets usually aren't. If not perishable, let them sit (minimum: 3 hours).⁣

🔸️Perishable or time sensitive deliveries: unpack outdoors with gloves on. Dispose of packaging & gloves outdoors. Wash your hands. Sanitize items you unpacked. Wash hands again. Put away perishable items. Wash your hands. Sanitize any area touched by you or those items. Wash hands (again).⁣

🔸️Treat everything/one like POISON ⚠️⁣

🔸️Play this game: there's a serial killer out there putting invisible poison on anything and everything and everyone that makes some people deathly ill, turns some people into "silent spreaders" and delivers a slow and cruel death to others.⁣

😳 That's a trippy and disturbing game, isn't it?!

Puzzle time!

We finally did one! Woo hoo.

Yes, that’s right. Things have been SO bananas between pandemic-new job getting-moving cross country-canceling our wedding, etc. etc. etc., that we haven’t even had brain space for pandemic-favorite, PUZZLES.

The irony is that I love puzzles outside of pandemics, too! We always do at least two while we’re at my parents for Christmas. I used to knock them out like it was a race when I was a kid. I love their art, the challenge, giving my hands something to do, the way you can get sucked into FLOW while doing it. Anxiety? What?

Of course, it could also be the hibernating, fall, metal, the coziness of being indoors with extra time to kill.

I snagged this one, pictured above, on a clearance shelf a number of weeks ago. Can you tell what my mind craved at the time? :)

I finally cracked it open midday last week when I needed a break, and fiance and I did it as we walked by on work breaks, until THOSE times.

You know.

Those times you get sucked in and “one more piece” becomes “the whole damn puzzle.” In our case, it was first “let’s just finish the sea,” and then “ok, the palm trees are last!”

It was fun, it was a nice distraction. It was a 500 and took three afternoons.

Now, on to a Saturday Evening Post 1,000 piece Norman Rockwell - Romance Collage :) - that we’ve had collecting dust on our shelves since last winter.

These gorgeous Cavallini & Co Vintage puzzles (they’re new, right?) totally caught my eye at Barnes & Noble back in late August. They are high on my Christmas wish list.
