Sometimes you can #stim with just your body 🙏✨ If you're afraid of being noticed, or you need a specific type of sensory input and don't have a toy, you might just use your hands. 👋 Lately I've been running my thumb over my fingernails, like this. It's easy to do and keeps me calm whilst I'm doing other things, even if I don't have a toy to hand.💚🌱 Using your hands doesn't replace or match using the right tools, but it's an important part in the #unmasking journey and allowing yourself to #stimfreely. 😌✨💮 -Fen ✨💜 [Video: Hand running a thumb over four other fingernails, background is a leafy bush, the sun is shining.] #autism #asd #actuallyautistic #autisticbusiness #hsp #sensory #stimming #stim #masking #stimtoy #adhd #desktoy #studying #fidget #fidgettoy #neurodiversity #neuroemergent #unmasking #spoonie #ptsd #anxiety #copingskills #cptsd (at United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFo4O7ZhWPH/?igshid=121lbjci6kg2e
