I miss Miles’ jacket, it was such a cool look on top of his spidey suit but, growth spurt aside, it was only a matter of time before his dad recognized it and either came to the correct conclusion or a hilariously wrong conclusion that kinda made him wish his dad just figured out he was Spidey

#Spiderman #spider man #spider-man #miles morales #jefferson davis #been seeing some stuff about there being pushback against just calling miles Spiderman because when you say Spiderman without context #everyone thinks of the original (P.B.P.)#whereas with every other version of spidey there’s something tacked onto the name so you can immediately tell which version of spidey it is #I think about it whenever I tag my spidey posts and after tagging the three different ways of saying Spiderman #the only difference between Miles and P.B.P. is the civilian names I tag it with after #and it would be kinda nice to have a *specific* spidey name for Miles #but at the same time #Miles is the only spidey I can think of who *specifically* takes up the Spiderman mantle right after P.B.P.#he’s meant to take his place and fill his shoes so that Spiderman continues being New York’s hero #he’s not meant to be a separate version of Spiderman he’s meant to be the continuation #so it makes sense to me that he doesn’t have a specific spidey name to separate himself from P.B.P.#also the only name people can usually come up with for him is ‘arachnikid’ or however that’s spelt #and that’s just not sustainable as he’s not gonna stay a kid forever

Should I just admit my shoes have reached the end of their natural lifespan and buy new ones? Probably. But this took 40 minutes, some glue and some embroidery floss, and now I can at least schlep them another summer.

I've had these wool slippers for 13 years, but the bottoms were starting to wear out faster than I can darn, so I used some of the techniques from your blog to reinforce around the holes, and added woven wool scraps from another project over the soles to make them stronger. Thank you for all the useful tips on your blog!
