Eva Green is another fucking Ashwini Moon who was mistyped as a Revati. Her birthtime not only gives her an Ashwini Moon, but a Magha Ascendent as well. It makes so much sense why she was always famously fancasted as Lady Loki in the fandoms (around the years 2012-2016 online), as she looks like the female version of him. And Loki being played by Ashwini Moon, Tom Hiddleston.

Resembling Hela who is played by Ashwini Moon Cate Blanchett!!! (what's up with green being associated with ashwini? lol also eva green.)

AND, doesn't she look like Alexis Bledel who plays Rory Gilmore from the Gilmore Girls??? WHO IS ALSO ASHWINI MOON!?

I have a probably controversial Marauders fandom take of my own, but what is it with the weird ageism towards women in the fancasts, especially coming from a fandom that’s mainly female.

Don’t get me wrong, I also agree that a 30-40something woman would indeed be too old to play a high schooler, but it seems like every 5 years only the popular female fancasts get younger replacements.

For example, Lily Evans: First it was Karen Gillan, then it was Sophie Skelton, and now it’s Annalise Basso (i’ve also recently seen like two or three fancasts with Harley Haisley, a tiktoker that recently turned 18, as Lily and one of them still used Aaron Taylor Johnson as the James of that fancast), yet the popular male fancasts are the same ones from 2012, despite the fact that Ben Barnes and Andrew Garfield are in their 40’s and older than all of these “old women” that were fancasted in the past.

I get that the edits are using young footage, and I actually really like Beabadoobee as Marlene and Sofia Bryant as Mary when the 2012 fancast is out of the picture, but what is the excuse behind the female fancasts getting replaced every few years? are the current young female fancasts going to get that same treatment in the future while Timothee Chalamet still remains as Regulus in his 30’s-40’s?

Maybe it’s not that deep, maybe I’m overthinking it, but it’s all so bizarre to me.

bro i am not caught up on the fancasts in the marauders fandom im so sorry. like i know of atj and ben barnes and andrew for the main three but aint got a clue about no one else (except timothee chalamet… that one is fairly popular and ive gotten complaints about him as regulus on here before). so im afraid i cant add much to the discourse 😭

it very much couldddd me misogyny. it could also be because girls are customising themselves better? they just look more interesting than boys, no offence to men. personally i find it much easier to fancast girl characters than boy characters so that might be a factor, but im not sure about the dynamics in the marauders fandom!!

project from Landing im working on for a modernised non-mutant TMNT AU based off 2012, IDW and 2003.

Better quality.

some AU details under the cut;

i think leo would really like retro japanese stuff - mostly influenced by splinter. his music taste consists of j-pop and j-rap, anime and game soundtracks and splinters old music tapes (miki matsubara, akina nakamori). the fancast is pooter_ on instagram, he was the closest representation of what i imagined leo to look like, though I'd probably make him look more asian in appearance.

Leo and Mikey are both top in their language classes, both taking japanese, and they both have penpals they often talk to. Mikey already transitioned to texting, but Leo and his penpal chose to stay traditional to improve their handwriting.

i'm almost certain leo would draw but have one of those Fruit Basket art styles. he'd probably be very private about all his art, and quite literally refuse to show his brothers any of it.

he likes space and action animes. he just does, there isnt any reason for it.

lemme know if you want more on this au cause i actually have stuff to say for this one. (unlike that last project where i hmmed and hahhed on what to post)

your favorite concert: This is tough, I've seen a lot of great shows! But many moons ago when my hubby and I were first dating Everlast came to a music fest in town. My hubby is a huge fan so we went together and it was a miserable day, pouring rain and cold, but we had SUCH a good time. Cause of the rain it was a pretty small but mighty crowd and Everlast was awesome. It is just such a good memory for me!

do you have a fancasting you just can’t let go of? I will never be over the fact that Arianna Grande was cast as Glinda in the Wicked Movie when they could’ve had Dove Cameron.

a ship you’ve abandoned: I was super into Belle and Shawn from Days of Our Lives back in the day. I read a bunch of fanfic, but never really interacted in the fandom. But once the original actors left the show and I grew out of high school they lost appeal to me.

on a scale of 1-10 how willing are you to share your ao3 history? haha. share with who? on tumblr? probably 10 - nothing would shock any of you. With a random person in my everyday life...probably zero. haha

do you have a fandom tattoo? (do you want one?) I am tattoo free and at this point in my life will mostly remain that way.

has a finale ever ruined a show for you? Definitely. The worst for me was How I Met Your Mother. It still makes me so mad.

swam in an ocean? Many times. Just last week in fact! Thank you, Mexico!

ever been vegan/vegetarian? Nope, we try to do meatless Monday in our house to mix things up but I enjoy meat too much to go full vegetarian.

gone skinny dipping? yup. It is a backcountry camping must!

gone skiing? A ton! It's been a few years since being pregnant/having babies isn't conducive to skiing, but I adore it. It is my favourite winter activity!

Hello ~ I'm Cloud and welcome to my blog !

My pronouns are they/them ! I don't really have hard no's for gendered terms used to refer to me .

I'm a '02-liner (meaning i was born in 2002) and from Southeast Asia . I am currently in uni studying Geology and I use my spare time to think about my hyperfixations <3

In my headcanons and posts, I will stretch canon pretty thinly. I will rewrite and redo huge chunks of what we know as the Harry Potter canon. This includes huge changes in the history, the timeline, and the ethnicities of a lot of characters (read: majority of the characters we know in my AU are now BIPOC). Everything I am doing is purely for my own enjoyment and I just wanted to share the things I made with anyone who wanted to have a read.

I do not follow any Marauders fandom headcanons nor do I consider myself part of the fandom . This means my Lilys and Jameses will have vastly different friend groups than what you're used to if you're from the Marauders fandom .

If you're particular about dynamics, I am a fixed DMHP account . I don't post NSFW on this blog since I focus on worldbuilding and more SFW character building, but I'm just throwing this out there :3

Nandhini's Legacy - my main AU and the reason why I made this blog in the first place ! This is a Harry Potter AU where the Potter family are South Indian (specifically Tamil [James] and Telugu [Lily]) and the Black family are SWANA . New elements in the story include entirely new fancasts for the entire cast, the introduction of a Magical British Museum (the new primary antagonist besides Lord Voldemort), OC siblings for characters like Harry and Pansy, and several timeline changes .

Son of Hecate Harry AU - a PJO x HP crossover AU where Harry was born to Lily and James but with the additional blood from Hecate . In this AU he was taken away from the Dursleys by a satyr and raised in Camp Half-Blood . By the time he arrives at Hogwarts, Harry has already undergone one quest and is only at the institution because of another prophecy (not Trelawney's) . He is accompanied by fellow demigods and witches Yurika Haneda (Slytherin, Hermes) and Poppy Caxton (Hufflepuff, Athena)

My Mortal Companion - the AU in which post-War, Harry retains his title as Master of Death and believes his next destiny is to be the sole Unspeakable in the Death Room since he's the "only one who could do it" . Features Harry's relationships and dynamics with various psychopomps and death deities of diverse pantheons
