That's one of the things I want to try with some of my Adventure AU ideas. Between the ages of 12-14 I was desperate for a (mentally & emotionally) healthy parental figure. It was during the summer when I was 14 when I fully accepted that the abuse I was experiencing from my parents wasn't going to stop no matter how good of a child I was nor how good my grades were, no one believed me when I asked for help, and neither of my parents was going to truly defend us from the other. If I got isekai'ed then so I would receive care instead of going through another decade of torment that could be really cathartic for me to write. I know Esra & Rurumu would be wonderful in helping Mori heal and relearn what it means to have agency. it would be very sweet and wholesome.

(I didn't have bangs from age 7 to 14.)
