🪴Oh after the fact but… another element that indicates Angie is moreso her own person/alter… is that Donna “using Angie to speak” happened before… she got the cadou parasite, right…? Some people attribute Angie’s possible sentience to that, but… Angie seemed to have already been around long before that…? She was made by Donna’s dad after all…
Yes! After looking at several sources (including images of the Gardner's Diary), it is known that "Donna would speak through Angie". Just one example of this is what one can assume to be post-Cadou interactions with the Gardner. I believe it's in one of his letters written after Miranda's adoption (and of course Cadou implantation) of Donna where he describes Angie as "more lively". This is a clear indication that Angie was already speaking for Donna; the extra liveliness being that due to the Cadou spread to her, Angie now has her own separate body. Previously, it was Donna's body which Angie would communicate through. Though clearly the gardner wouldn't have known or be able to understand it, he still knew that per usual Angie was doing the actual communicating.
I have seen some say that this behavior (that being Angie speaking for Donna) began in Donna's childhood, but I haven't found any form of official or in-game confirmation of this. If there is then I simply haven't found it yet. Despite me not knowing of any possible evidence to suggest this, I'm not shooting this down. I actually find it completely believable. It is clear that the death of whoever Claudia Beneviento was (I personally like to stick with the idea of her being Donna's sister and the grief of losing her being what drove Donna's parents to their deaths), along with the deaths of her parents were extremely impactful and traumatic events in her life. On top of that she had already been dealing with issues due to the scar on her face, so imagine. Poor little baby going through a lot and the effects were long-term. So yes, although I personally have not seen any direct confirmations of this, based on these other things we can piece together it's completely reasonable to say that Angie appeared in her childhood.
The connections between Angie and major trauma in Donna's early life, in my opinion, continue to support the idea of Angie being an alter. There's really a lot of room to play around with the connection between Donna and Angie, and i'm not saying this is strictly how I interpret them. But it is an interpretation I support because of how believable it seems.

@meowmeowriley asked to hear more about 4, 6, and 7 from my COD wip list (thank you very much btw) and my motto will always be 'ask and ye shall receive' so here we go!
4 Still Unnamed centaur AU: Alright so Price is the very proud owner of a centaur wildlife reserve which is a place that takes injured centaurs and fixes them up so they can be released again. Ghost, Soap, Gaz, Roach, König, and my OC Flower (pls ask me about him), are all centaurs who cannot be released into the wild due to various reasons and they act as like ambassadors, they even organise events to help raise centaur awareness (everyone especially adores the kids that come with school visits) but Shepard, who is a very high official in the wildlife reserve business, only sees centaurs as beasts and not like the intelligent beings they are. He tries to put Price out of business at every opportunity and is generally an all around dick. Yet nothing seems to work as support for centaur communities continues to blow up due to the team being adorable and in love together, i mean look at Ghost blushing as Soap tries to court him! It's adorable!
6 The Men In The Corner Booth: It's basically an outside view on the lads from the perspective of a gay bar and it's patrons. I love outsider POVs so i decided to make my own. It's mostly about the lads being disgustingly in love with each other while also being absolutely insane. Also features another of my OCs i call Timber. I don't have much yet but i still love it.
7 Wild Wild West: A RDR2 and COD crossover, i also love this one. The lads are a bounty hunter gang who mainly deal with the worst of the worst and are on the search for Graves who betrayed them, they find out Graves is working with these dudes called the Pinkertons and accidentally stumble upon the Van Der Linde Gang getting shot at and decide to intervene. They team up and join the camp as they search for Graves, in the meantime they show the Van Der Linde gang that things could be better mainly by just doing their own thing as they normally do. (AKA everyone does the chores and brings in money instead of relying on one dude to do it, i am a firm believer in letting Arthur rest. That poor man needs it) Ghost and Arthur bond, Hosea and Price bond over being dads, Price sets Dutch straight, they drive Micah crazy. Very fun. Also stars Flower because i love my boy.
Nobody asked for it, but i need to rant about my Star Wars COD crossover too, it's very self indulgent and full of my own headcanons so be warned. It's about Ghost and Soap being Mandalorian bounty hunters who just got married a week ago and still very deep in that honeymoon phase. They make a stop on Coruscant because they're out of the tea Ghost drinks and Ghost without his tea is a nightmare so they go get it even though Coruscant is a sensory nightmare (They are both force sensitive because the Force is very cool and force sensitive Mando's exist damnit) they find his tea, but also find a wee little baby Obi-Wan, freshly traumatized from Bandomeer, hiding in a alley because Obi had a panic attack while searching for his master at the markets. Ghost and Soap's Mandalorian instincts activate, Soap sees Obi is Stewjoni like him and gets even more protective. And well the marriage is really new but it's never too early to adopt right?
Baby Obi gets fed copious amounts of tea and cookies and gets adopted, but requests to get brought back to the Jedi temple because he does really want to be a Jedi and finish his education, Ghost is a bit pouty but they drop him off by the temple with a care package and a few dozen comm numbers to call if he ever gets in trouble or just wants to call his new family. And because Obi-Wan is the greatest danger magnet to have ever lived he will get in a lot of trouble lol.

YUNMENG TRIO PROPAGANDA!!!!!
I promise as the moderator of this competition I won’t campaign for any specific sibling sets after this but I cannot let my faves Jiang Yanli, Wei Wuxian, and Jiang Cheng lose in the first round when they were seeded pretty high.
For context, here is who I’m talking about:
Look at those babies!
The Yunmeng Trio are three siblings from the book Mo Dao Zu Shi or the TV show The Untamed. They consist of oldest sister Jiang Yanli, middle adopted brother Wei Wuxian, and youngest brother Jiang Cheng. Their relationship is crucial to the story, as it follows Wei Wuxian and his dynamic with both siblings (but especially Jiang Cheng) influences a lot of his decisions, which in turn influences a lot of the state of the world they live in as a whole.
Could these siblings win a physical fight against other sibling sets? YES. Jiang Cheng is a very skill swordsman and has a magic lightning whip. Wei Wuxian invented a new kind of magic and by and large is super overpowered (can take on hundreds of people at a time due to his ability to control ghosts/corpses/harness resentful energy). Yanli, while not much of a physical fighter, can easily win over anyone’s heart with the power of soup. (Seriously, in the book it lists her weapons as “love and soup”) Everyone loves her, especially her brothers, which lowkey makes her an extremely powerful character because they’d do anything for her.
Do these siblings have sibling swag? YES. They bicker! Especially WWX and JC. Yanli loves to make her brothers soup and they always argue over who has the bigger portion! They have inside jokes! JC and WWX are always nitpicking at each other but will not allow anyone else to do so! They’re all traumatized by their parents in different ways and therefore lean on each other and are unhealthily codependent because of it! Whenever one of the brothers goes off by himself Yanli always asks the other one to go bring him back, and when she couldn’t do that she waded out into an active battlefield to try to find them!
Do they love each other? YES. “We are the closest three in the world.” Jiang Cheng sacrificing himself so Wei Wuxian doesn’t get taken hostage. Wei Wuxian convincing his friend to perform ethically dubious and extremely dangerous surgery on him to try to get Jiang Cheng back to 100%. The sole time Yanli loses her temper in the show, it’s because people are yelling at Wei Wuxian and not showing him respect! She wore her wedding outfit when she and Jiang Cheng went to visit Wei Wuxian in exile because he wouldn’t be able to be at her actual wedding and she wanted him to see it! Jiang Cheng suggested that Yanli let Wei name her son! That scene made me cry no joke!
Are they interesting? YES. I just described how much they love each other but the show actually begins with us seeing Jiang Cheng supposedly kill Wei before we jump back in time, so you know they have some intense emotional arcs going on! Wei Wuxian was adopted when he and JC were around 6, and his status as an insanely talented and amazing cultivator plays really interestingly with the fact that his younger brother will be clan leader because WWX isn’t in the bloodline, and that influences JC immensely because in a way he has to deal with some of the worst parts of being a younger sibling while also having to deal with things an older sibling would otherwise have to. Once Wei starts doing big plot things and becomes Public Enemy Number 1, JC and Yanli have to be careful with how they navigate the political world while trying to rebuild their clan and navigate an engagement that could unite their clan with a much more powerful one, but they still try to protect their brother. Bodies start dropping. They’re all traumatized over various events that occur before they’re even fully adults. They make me feel so many emotions it’s not even funny.
tldr: I love them. please don’t let them lose in the first round please just give them this they’ve suffered enough.

THE WEASEL KIDDOS…. Maci & Tory’s babiest sons Celos (looking ‘human’, wearing the bracelet) and Py (weasel shaped, playfully clawing his brother’s face off up top) are daemons capable of shapeshifting just like many daemons (including parent Tory!) can do- though in these twins’ cases, only one can do it at a time right now! they switch back and forth!
and so these hyperactive little toddlers are indeed bouncing off the walls all of the time though that’s less to do with being daemons and more todo with being made Half Out of Maci, sooooo
meanwhile Tory and honorary triplet Enodia “N” are free to judge the hell out of whatever nonsense is happening in the corner
Baby N is Chal and bel’s daughter!!! first of all N is a contact empath (thanks to telepath dad Bel) and she feels whatever feelings you do if you touch her hence her exact same matching Judgement as Tory lmao???? copypasting her expressions is my fave lmfaooo
and honorary triplet indeed - sooo drawin N near the twins is so :’))) in short, due to a CONVOLUTED SERIES OF EVENTS N was - accidentally conceived by Chal and Bel - supernaturally transplanted & carried by Tory, side by side with Celos & Py - adopted by Tory and then immediately adopted back by Chal & Bel!! Sorry Chal is traumatized AND disorganized but it’s all fine now🤪 but this has left Celos and Py as like. her not-siblings, special bonded cousins idk??? Fake twiplets…
in conclusion we carry on in the hopes that one day someone finds the off button on these lunatic toddlers🥰😚

Both parents are very successful. Her mother a model, and figurehead. Her father award wining surgeon.
Despite growing up in LA, Covintgon was like a second home to the twins, as that was where their grandparents lived.
Her mother wanted a mini-me for a daughter, one who would love the glitz and glam of Hollywood, instead, she got a girl who wanted to be be successful more like her father.
Only Callie hadn't realized that until a traumatic turn of events took place when she was 15. After a party with her best friend, Harper, they decided to walk home; but they would both be kidnapped.
They were missing for 4 days. Harper would end up killed, while Callie was rescued.
This was extremely traumatic for the young girl, yet, she seemed to bounce back a little too fast. Some would say she never truly dealt with that trauma. It would get worst when the man who kidnapped them would end up free, due to a mistrial.
This is the turning point in which Callie knew she wanted to go into law. Finishing high school, she'd go on to college and law school, topping her classes.
After law school, Callie would move to Covington for good, to be near her brother and his wife.
At 33, she would find herself landing the position of DA. For years she was all work, and very little play. So, it was a surprise that within the same year as her promotion, she'd find that she was pregnant.
in 2019, she gave birth to her daughter, who she named Harper, after her late friend, and Rose after her grandmother.
In 2021, she would adopt a mainecoone cat that she named Stormy.
Despite being married to her work, and a single mother, she manages to keep up both ends rather well. Of course with help of her brother, and his wife, and occasionally her parents. Which she is extremely grateful for.
WANTED CONNECTIONS:
FRIENDS/FRIENDLY RELATIONSHIP: Despite being a work horse, she is still a rather cool person to hang around. With becoming a mom, on top of her job, it did shorten her free time even more. But her brother does try to get her to go out and have some kind of social life. Or at least, just give her a break. This could be coffee friends, work out friends, even mom friends.
ENEMIES/I DON’T REALLY LIKE YOU: Not everyone likes everyone.
EXES/FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS/HOOK UPS (M/NB): Despite really not having time for relationships, she somehow manages to have a long list of ex-lovers. Very few serious. Most hook ups, as she has needs, and she likes them met. She does have a handful of exes that was serious, and it could've ended badly on either side to be honest. Or well. She definitely dated more freely in college.
BABY DADDY: To be honest, I don't assume she actually knows who her daughter's dad is. In my head, she had slept with two different men around the time she got pregnant. Instead of really figuring out who it was, she kinda just told them both that the other one was the dad. And they went with it. She always knew she wanted to be a mom, and she always figured she'd do it on her own. This way just saved her a trip to the bank. (Even tho deep down, she would love nothing more then the whole fairy tale love story. But she is a realistic, and her career comes before a relationship.)
COWORKERS: Anyone who works in law, cops, lawyers, etc, would very likely know of Callie Montgomery. Rather it's friendly or not, is up for debate.
CLIENTS: Anyone who's been in legal trouble.

Important Bullet Points for Uzumaki Umeko’s Lore!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
Heads up: Umeko’s lore is heavily intertwined with Uzumaki Mito, Uzumaki Kushina, and, to an extent, with Uzumaki Naruto. If you play one of these three Muses, feel free to approach me if you’re interested in Umeko being part of your Muse’s story. I am fine with altering my lore for Kushina and Naruto, but not Mito. She is too important to Umeko’s lore for me to alter it.
I might add: while I’m super excited to interact with these three Muses, I’ll not actively seek them out as I don’t want to force my OC’s lore upon anyone who plays these Muses. As for other Muses, this is Umeko’s lore and I’ll follow it while interacting with any other Muse. If this bothers anyone, that’s totally fine, but I ask that you not interact with Umeko then.
Due to traumatic events during her youth, Umeko has selective mutism. She communicates by various means.
She's Uzumaki Mito's cousin.
Prior to being assigned as Mito’s personal guard, Umeko led a small group of Uzumaki who were highly skilled in fuuinjutsu on the battlefield. This special unit would also go on infiltration missions. Being the leader of, Umeko is highly skilled in the art of sealing.
Due to her being originally an infiltrator, Umeko goes undetected easily by using her sealing techniques. She often travels through her sealing methods from place to place.
Being Mito’s personal guard and living in Konohagakure, Umeko only takes direct orders from her cousin. If Mito is absent and unable to give orders, she’ll decide for herself whether her contribution is needed or not.
After Mito sealed the Nine Tails within herself and became the first jinchuuriki, Umeko played a crucial role in keeping the seal intact. At the same time, she was the spare vessel if anything were to happen to Mito.
When Mito was at the end of her life and a new vessel was chosen for the Nine Tails, Umeko’s last orders were to extract and reseal the Nine Tails within the young host. Despite her advanced age, Umeko adopted Kushina and raised her into a strong and proud Uzumaki. Kushina was taught all there was to know about sealing by her. The bond between Umeko and Kushina was that of a grandparent and grandchild.
Kushina’s name was mentioned by Umeko while they were looking for the Nine Tails' next host. Umeko was too old to become a jinchuuriki but knew the girl shared the same chakra signature as her, a one-of-a-kind chakra that only ran in their family line. Kushina and Umeko are related through her younger sister, who was the girl’s grandmother. Upon further consideration, Kushina was eventually chosen.
During Kushina’s pregnancy, Umeko was gravely ill and was hospitalized for most of her pregnancy while undergoing treatment. It saddened her greatly that she couldn’t be there when Kushina needed her the most. Despite her being ill, Umeko taught Minato how best to restrain the Nine Tails when his wife was in labour. She was the only one with the expertise after having restrained the beast during Mito’s labours.
Umeko firmly believes that if she wasn’t gravely ill, she might’ve made a difference if she were the one to keep the seal intact while Kushina was giving birth. Even if the beast got out, she could restrain and reseal it. Whether this is true or not, it’s something she believes and blames herself for the many deaths caused by the beast.
After the death of Kushina and with the belief she could’ve made a difference, Umeko lost her will to fight and almost died. It wasn’t until Hiruzen told her about the little baby boy who was called Naruto, that she got a reason to live and fight to get better for the boy’s sake. But it took several years before Umeko was back on her feet, and the boy was tainted by the hatred of the village. Naruto bumped into her several times, but he most likely got scared after she chased him down by using her sealing techniques to keep up with him. He might’ve thought she was some sort of ghost. From thereon, they didn’t meet until years later.
Naruto was formally introduced to Umeko after the Fourth Shinobi World War as his mentor to teach him all about fuuinjutsu. There might’ve been some inner dialogue taking place between Kurama and Naruto regarding Umeko being a pesky old woman.
In the New Era, Umeko continues to teach fuuinjutsu to a select few who show great potential. She remains an important figure in the Land of Fire’s politics. However, she’s slowly retiring from her position in order to enjoy the last remaining years of her life. Umeko’s life has always been in service to her clan, cousin, and village. She’s craving some respite while working in her little garden without any worries.
In celebration of her being the oldest denizen of the village and her service up till now, a sunflower sculpture was placed in Konohagakure’s park within a patch of sunflowers specially planted for the occasion. Umeko was all teary-eyed by the gesture and thought the sculpture was beautiful. The sunflower has always been her favourite flower.

“Bag Lady”
A song that is currently resonating in my mental space is by Erykah Badu, “Bag Lady”. There’s a section of the chorus that goes, “Bag lady, you gone hurt your back draggin’ all them bags like that.” Where oh where do I begin to unpack all of this mental and emotional baggage? Last week was the first week of my new African American studies course titled, “Sunken Place: Racism, Survival, and Black Horror Aesthetic.”
Films I've seen previously, like "Get Out," are being seen from a fresh perspective. The "rose-colored glasses" are no longer being worn. Professor Due gives us some insight on the origins of Black Horror, explaining that "it was a means to transfer real life traumas — fear and anger into a fictitious drama." I've always found it odd that I just cannot get enough of watching horror, even if it makes me cringe, squirm, increase my heartbeat, and stay awake at night with nightmares. Where does it come from? Professor Due made a statement claiming, "those who watch horror did better during the pandemic." As much as I'd want to, I just don't have time to fully unpack this statement. Yeah right, who am I am kidding, I can't wait to unpack this!
My mother abandoned my sister and me when I was just 5-years old. She left me and my sister in the care of our abusive, emotionally unstable, and often absentee father. My paternal grandmother took majority care of me and my sister until her health began to decline. She had adopted my father and his siblings from Germany, but that's a subject for another day. My sister and I were heading to school one day when we heard our grandmother's voice from a distance; upon turning around, we saw our disoriented and undressed grandmother (Nana) making her way up the street. Nana was exhibiting symptoms of dementia; I would learn later. When I was 11 years old, Nana passed. Those 6 years in-between the time of her death were very emotionally and mentally taxing on me and my sister. That was the beginning of the end for us. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2019, less than a year before the pandemic. Fast forward to the pandemic, and my mother succumbs to cancer. I felt abandoned once again. I have endured much trauma in my life.
A major part of my childhood from a young age I recall watching horror and thrillers with my mother, father, paternal grandmother, cousins, siblings etc. Television shows and films like, The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock’s – The Birds, Psycho (all of them) and Rear Window, Rosemary’s Baby, The Exorcist, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, The Shinning, Poltergeist, many…many Stephen King films; Carrie, The Shining, It (I’m still freaked out by clowns), Christine, Pet Cemetery, Misery, Cujo and soooooo many more. Every person in my family I listed above had experienced trauma. Due to the brain's inability to differentiate between fiction and reality, when I watch a horror movie, a component of my mind believes that "Freddy Krueger (for example)" is after me in real life. So, how exactly can watching horror help you decompress? Specifically, those of us with anxiety and trauma. It makes me think of my ancestors and how they were able to survive such inhumanity, such brutality. Once the mind has gone through several traumatic experiences, it strengthens and realizes that it is capable of surviving. Regardless how it may seem, horror films inform us that fear is not fatal. Therefore, those who watch horror and/or have endured traumatic events may have done much better during the pandemic. Without this course, I highly doubt I would have been able to conceptualize this.
When so much of life seems out our control, horror may help us recover and get control over our feelings. Black men are being executed unjustly, and no one is being held accountable, eerily similar to the Jim Crow and Civil Rights eras. Women's rights to their bodies are being violated, with the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Black Horror is more than a cinematic feature; it is a daily lived reality for Blacks in AmeriKKKa.

Here's RiftClan! They live in a gorge. More under the cut!
RiftClan is the most isolated and independent of the clans. They keep to themselves and have a biiit of a collective superiority complex.
Freezestar is the leader. He's calm, cold, and stern. When he was younger though, he was essentially the opposite. Some undisclosed traumatic event happened and changed everything. This resulted in his mate at the time, Shrewthorn, breaking things off shortly before the birth of their daughter Quietthrust. Neither have told her about it. Freezestar later got with Ashrain and had two more kits, Skygaze and Sparktail. He was fairly distant with them, as well. He isn't the greatest of dudes, but he's trying.
Quietthrush is the deputy and she takes this very, very seriously. She's a bit bossy, but responsible, and would do anything for her clanmates. She has a son, Swiftpaw, who she cannot see eye-to-eye with at all now that he's in his rebellious phase.
Shrewthorn is Riftclan's oldest medicine cat and former mate of Freezestar. She's very competent at the healing aspect of her job, but not quite spiritually inclined. She doesn't care though, who needs prophecies? She has a good relationship with her grandson, Swiftpaw, who she really wants to take under her wing as her apprentice, but he's already been put on the path of a warrior.
Ashrain joined the clan as a former wanderer and later got with Freezestar, having two kids with him. She has a good relationship with both, and enjoys embarrassing them greatly. She's the cool aunt of the clan.
Dewstripe, if he were a human, would be into cryptocurrency. That's all you need to know about him.
Dovefrost and Sunsplash are mates and parents to Snowlotus, Cloudstrike, and Fogfern. They also have one grandkid through Snowlotus in Brookpaw. Dovefrost is relaxed and go-with-the-flow, and Sunsplash is Mom Prime.
Snowlotus and Skygaze are the clan's other two medicine cats. Skygaze has clairvoyance of a sort and is plagued by constant visions. He does the heavy lifting for the spiritual side of medicine cat duties due to this. Snowlotus is a Jerk and he's my favorite. He has a daughter, Brookpaw, whom he had following a tryst with a Ridgeclan cat, Frostwillow. The only people he really cares about are his immediate family, Frostwillow, and Skygaze. The latter of whom he helps in any way he can due to his violent dreams and visions.
Pounceleap and Bluestreak are in the background smooching at any given moment. They never left their honeymoon phase and they never will. They have three kits over two litters. The first is Finchwing and the others are Rainkit and Stormkit.
Sparktail is Freezestar's second daughter and mate of Goldfur. She's a very serious person, even considered a bit boring by others. Her mother enjoys finding little ways to get her to drop the facade and get her goat.
Goldfur is the daughter of a very well-respected warrior who was part of a prophecy that never came to pass. As such, she has a bit of a chip on her shoulder and a desperate need to prove herself. She's mates with Sparktail, who balances her out.
Fogfern and Cloudstrike are the siblings of Snowlotus. Fogfern is the more personable of the group and Cloudstrike is an angsty man.
Wildstag is brother to Leafwater, mate to Finchwing, uncle of Fallenpaw, and father of Bloomkit. He and his sister are very Large. They were brought to the clan as itty bitty babies by an unknown party. This causes Wildstag much angst. He's a bit prickly, but is an absolute sweetheart to his family.
Leafwater is mean. She enjoys fighting and being alone. This causes problems with her daughter, Fallenpaw who was more or less raised by her aunt and uncle. Leafwater isn't abusive in any way to Fallenpaw, she's just not suited to be a parent. At all. Fallenpaw's father is unknown.
Finchwing is a ray of sunshine and the first person to get through to Wildstag. She has a good relationship with her son, Bloomkit, and her more-or-less-adopted-daughter-niece, Fallenpaw. She's the clan mediator.
Runningbreeze and Duskhawk are angsty little shits. Their father was the former deputy who died under mysterious circumstances. Freezestar seems uncomfortable around them and they are very suspicious of him. That situation will probably boil over soon.
Brookpaw tries very, very hard to be like her father, Snowlotus. She is very much a daddy's girl. She tries to be calm and reasonable and above-it-all but has a very explosive temper. She gets this from her mother who she's never actually met.
Fallenpaw has a rough relationship with her mother, and tries very hard to impress her. This often means misadventure and dragging her friends, Brookpaw and Swiftpaw, into danger.
Swiftpaw is confident and kind of a klutz. He's in a rebellious phase and is more than happy to go along with whatever it is Fallenpaw wants to do. He's got a natural talent for healing, but is pretty insecure about this.
Rainkit and Stormkit are babies.
Bloomkit is also babie.

For some reason I'm yearning for brotherly Shadow and Sonic interactions.
SCU au where due to either wormhole shenanigans or because the pod was floating around the universe until it crash landed, Shadow ends up in a planet where Longclaw is hiding, is found by her and then immediately adopted. Because she's lonely and here's a traumatized, angry child that needs some guidance.
(Age can either be his canon age or he can be a lot younger because. I dunno, dr. Robotnik thought maybe having a growing child would allow for the creation of more adaptible cells and consequently possibly a better imune system, leading to a better possible treatment for Maria?)
Around a year later, Longclaw comes back to their little hidden home with a tiny baby hedgehog called Sonic that occasionally lights up when cranky. The great Owl never answers Shadow's question of where Sonic came from directly, there was just this dark, sad look on her face.
Anyway, they move to another island, Sonic grows up with Shadow as his older brother being mostly hands off and letring Sonic run around with barely any supervision until the event happens and they get stuck on Earth and Lonclaw is probably dead.
Shadow does not deal with it well and blames the almost 3 yo Sonic in his grief... for like an hour when he breaks after hearing tiny Sonic's confused crying and begging for so long and promises to be a more protective (read: overprotective to the point of stiffling) sibling in this new world.
He finds its Earth and is ready to scream but hey at least he can know what people are saying and read-
Canon events somewhat happen (well it converges in the same ending in a way), Tom and Maddie lowkey adopt him too, though they realise he's not willing to play house with them and let him go wherever with the promise they'll keep sonic safe. He's totally going to search for GUN and planning some revenge on them.
Anyway imagine second movie Shadow finding out that Sonic befriended an Echidna, this hedgehog would flip

This sad daddy long legs is Vale 😂🖤✨ He’s in the friend group with Wren, Borealis, (And @the-blueberry-jellyfish’s characters) Gelid, Bering, Izotz, and Icelyn. Although, he doesn’t really feel like they’re his friends, he just feels like he’s just a “friend” by extension 😂 He’s actually only in the friend group by accident lmAO!! 😂 You see, he has the same abusive ex as Wren, and they only found him because Gelid went off to try and kill Wren’s ex and found Vale there obviously, and took him with them when they left to free him from the shitty man ghHDH 😂😂 Then Vale had nowhere to go, so he stayed with Izotz and they actually became really close and now they’re together and ended up having 2 kids 🥹🖤 Arcti is the first child and oldest daughter, who they adopted together, and their second child and liddolest son is Jalaato, who they had together. Due to some traumatic events in his childhood, Vale ended up struggling with depression, anxiety, and binge-eating disorder in his youth, but upon getting into the abusive relationship with his ex, he began struggling with anorexia and just has an absolutely terrible self esteem 🙃 After getting out of there and living with Izotz and getting some professional help, and just in general feeling happy and healthy with Izotz, he finally put healthy weight back on and was thriving 🥹🖤 Then after years of being established, they adopted Arcti and their lil family was doing so good 😭 So they decided to try for Jalaato, but unfortunately, due to damage Vale’s reproductive organs have thanks to shitty ex, Jalaato was veeeeryyy premie and didn’t have a great chance at surviving. So Vale and Izotz spent quite a long time waiting on their baby boy at the NICU, but simultaneously, Izotz’s vision was plummeting and everyone was spiraling down the depression pit 😂 Vale’s binge-eating disorder went back to being in full swing, which makes him feel worse. Thankfully, they got to take home a healthy Jalaato, but lots of damage had already been done to their lil family and both boys are not doing good and their kids are suffering the consequences of their fathers’ actions 😭 Eska, Izotz’s mom is their lil godsend and Vale feels unworthy of her time and love 😂🖤 I believe in them, though, ,, They both have to get better or else 👁👁👁 Because they’re both in hospitals right now, so you can assume that things are not well 😂🖤 BUT I BELIEVE IN THE LITERATURE DADDY GAYS!!

A Beautiful Mistake

Have you ever looked back and wish you could tell naïve yourself some advice or words of encouragement? That in your lowest moments, memories, that you’ll be okay. It’s so cliché those words but in all honesty, it’s so true. I’ve learned that you just have to become independent and take control of your life.
I was adopted when I was a baby from a small town called Gutian in the Fujian Province of China. I don’t know much other than stories told by my adoptive parents. Growing up, I was always known to get into trouble, and my mom and I never really had a strong relationship because of some of the tough situations we’ve gone through. We had our screaming matches and throw downs, but little did I know that wasn’t the only trauma I would go through. I was nineteen years old when I moved out of my parents�� house, but it wasn’t by choice; it was more of a forceful choice. Walls were thin, in that old house. Mom if you ever see this, I understood that you were frustrated-you were venting. But the words you chose that day, changed me. But let me tell you, it grew me. Echoing in my head that day “She is a mistake from China, I wish I never adopted her.” These words ran me out of the house with nothing, not even shoes, with forty-three cents in my bank account, and just a cell phone that was past due because I had no job. I wanted you take back those words or apologize for years, but I soon had to realize that those words and that wishful thinking was a crutch holding me back. It was victimizing me, haunting me as I made mistakes over the years by my own fault, throwing my life away because I believed they were true. It wasn’t until I was 24 years old staring at a positive pregnancy test, did I have to snap myself out. I had to grow up, I had to face my own pain, and work on healing. I had to change my mind set with boundaries, turning the negative and self-inflicting thoughts to positive and reassuring ones; and the most important lesson I had to learn is how to forgive. Now you may read this and think, maybe this was easy, it was done with, and I moved on and I am living a better life now. Yes, I am better than I was four years ago, but no I am still to this day recovering, healing, and growing. But I can say every day I wake up feeling okay with my past, my present, and my future.
Researching a little about adoptive children and what they experience, I came across an article that mentioned what being adoptive and trauma does to a child’s brain. According to Gladney Center for Adoption, “the hippocampus, which is a small organ within the brain’s medial temporal lobe, is affected. The hippocampus is mainly associated with learning and memory. Early stress can negatively affect the hippocampus as well as its ability to regulate stress after a traumatic event. Not only that but the corpus callosum, which integrates motor, sensory, and cognitive performance, can also be negatively affected by early stress” (Heesch). It’s clear those that have gone through being adopted and then going to another environment that is stressful, like mine, it’s hard to train the brain how to react to certain situations. I wanted to write this as maybe a letter to those who have gone through situations like me or even worse or even to those who are just going through a rough patch in life. Here are somethings I’ve learned through out the years.
Lesson one. You don’t just wake up and everything, especially trauma, is picture perfect. When you hit that breaking point in life, you realize something needs to change. That breaking point isn’t just rock bottom, it’s far deeper than that. Because in all honesty sometimes hitting “rock bottom” isn’t enough for you to want to change. It feels like there is only two options, two choices, two outcomes -- fight or flight. So, what is the timeline for recovering? From experience I’ve learned there is no time in the world, no time stamp, no horoscope, no magic eight ball, nothing; that will tell you how long it will be before you finally feel the progress in life. For me, it took years before I finally began to even fathom what happiness meant. It took years to break cycles that were needed to be broken. “Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts” (Churchill).
Lesson Two, Take control. You lose control because you let the trauma, the issue, the hurt or whatever situation it is, run your life. Like I said using it as a crutch. Stop letting your past haunt you, you had no control then, but you have the option and opportunity to take control now. You have today, the next day, next year and forever until you take your last breath to look forward to and achieve any goal. Taking control doesn’t mean revenge, or malicious intent; it means finding closure to things that didn’t find answers and using those moments to build yourself stronger. “When you change your thoughts, remember to change your world” (Paele).
My Last Lesson, give yourself grace and find patience, like many people in this nation have said, no one is perfect. This one was a hard one to write, the reason why was because I used to be so hard on myself. I used to feel like because of what I went through, I believed I was a mistake, I wasn’t worth being a friend, a girlfriend, a sibling, or daughter. I would tear myself down when I did something wrong, like even the simplest thing like getting out of bed. It’s okay to feel emotions, it’s okay to feel worn down. But remember to find some joy and some positive outcome by the end of the day. “Either you run the day, or the day runs you” (Rohn).
I could tell you my life story and give you every part of what I’ve learned throughout my 27 years on this earth. But then I would be giving you another reason to not fight for your own independent self. But these main lessons I’ve learned throughout the years, I hope it gives a glimpse to someone who is struggling and feels stuck. I hope that it will reassure them that this moment, right here, where you’re at, will only be growing experience if you want it.

Backstory:
Bella was the only child of her family and had a loving home that adored her. Both parents gave everything they could to allow Bella to have a positive childhood. But behind closed doors the family was struggling financially as bills were rising higher. And yet Bella's parents always presented a cheerful look for their daughter. Until one day Bella saw a ballerina tutu in a shopping mall promoting to her begging her parents to take ballet classes. Perhaps this would be a great gift before breaking the news about moving to another state.
Sure it meant that the parents had to work much longer but the sweat was worth it. Bella enjoyed her ballet classes and felt inspired to grow up in being a ballerina. But that dream would be crashing down when Bella had asked her parents to drive her to an event her class was having. Wanting to show her moves in hopes Bella parents would be proud of her. The parents agreed despite feeling tired. Hitting the road while Bella sang about being happy before they’re car collided with another car who was speeding. Sending them onto the side and into a ditch. The car that hit them didn’t stay on the scene and help came about an hour. Having traumatized Bella left with her dead parents.
There were no family members that were willing to take Bella in. Casting poor Bella into the foster system before being adopted by a woman named Linda who was a dear friend of Bella’s mother. From there on Linda raised Bella to be a fine smart young woman. Keeping her on the right path despite the bumpy roads. Even if Bella is having a spiral conflict of her past trying to haunt her.
