I know Ygraine in fanon is like this good person who would have been proud of S5 Arthur and all... but hear me out!
Morgause summons what might be her in S2, by that point she tells Arthur it's Uther fault she died: kinda shitty to snitch on your husband if you loved him??
Also Uther did not know she would have died (he tells as much to Nimueh, and we have no reason to believe Uther would have willingly exchange her life for Arthur's seeing how he reacted afterwards) and she should know that! So either 1) that is not true Ygraine therefore telling Arthur she's proud doesn't make real Ygraine proud of him.
2) That is actual Ygraine and she's a crappy wife.
Either way she might have been proud of Season 2 Arthur but not of S5 Arthur: she might not hate magic, but still hate that Arthur married Gwen and knighted peasants.
What if she was as shitty as Uther in that regard?? like, your vibe attracts your tribe... what if she was the standard noblewoman, we know Queens are as bad as Kings, come on: Royalty sucks!
I think exploring the fact they could both be fucked up people is more interesting than a martyr saint of a mother.
She was a noble woman and all the laws Uther made before her departure would probably have been ok with her.
What if she would have axed Percival herself if Arthur had summoned her with the horn in 5x03??
I want to explore this!

Bloodborne Update!
I finally, finally, FINALLY beat Logarius. All it took was liberal application of a +10 Holy Moonlight Greatsword.
Slightly related note, I am apparently a vampire now and Alfred went coo-coo for cocoa puffs. Man, I really have a knack for just making things worse.

For some reason I think that Logarius's main issue with Annalise is that he can't admit he's Annalise's hardcore simp
OHO YES
Well, this is the case in my headcanon world anyway, but yeah, I am obsessed with the idea that he was originally set to be her spouse, but he found out about the Pthumerian ritual that would bring Annalise her god-child, where the queen’s husband is sacrificed. (@katyspersonal can explain this better than me, but there are implications of this with Queen Yharnam).
Anyway, Logarius would then betray Cainhurst and reject Annalise, but secretly he was still kind of obsessed with her, unhealthy so, thinking she was his “right” as her previously betrothed.
He hated her and “loved” her all at once, and their rivalry was a power-play that did end in a form of stagnation.
Hehe. Drama.

Logarius is either from Cainhurst or whatever faraway land the bloodline of their nobility originates. I suspect he would have had a legal claim to the throne, if not for Annalise's immortality (but that part is sort of uncertain).
It is somewhat likely that he was a Cainhurst knight who regarded his position as degrading. They were, after all, beast hunters who held their title to keep up appearances. Evidently he regarded his executioners (a previously hereditary title) as superior to knights and hunters; even Alfred chooses to draw a distinction between the two professions, though he acknowledges the similarities.
To me, it seems Logarius was either looking for a way out, or to the top. It is possible he was the traitor at Byrgenwerth who brought forbidden blood to Annalise, in hopes of gaining some favor, and whatever her response, he found it unsatisfactory.
So, why not carve up Cainhurst? The Healing Church has some conflict there, so, why not convince Laurence that a full scale assault to supplant the government is the way to go? Of course he'll let you claim the throne, you'll be subservient to him (for now) but you'll at least get the recognition you deserve.
And after all this time? Now he can be canonized as a true martyr.
