I just have this image in my head of homeless!Ted recognising Pete out in public. He’s got this sweet little faraway smile on his face as he watches him and mutters “Petey…! That’s my baby brother…!” to no-one. Pete barely even notices him
Or maybe Pete, for once, is the only one in his friend group who decides to actually throw a little bit of spare change into the homeless guy’s cup as they’re all walking by and Ted looks up to thank the kind stranger and realises, and can’t say anything, just stares as Pete keeps walking, until he’s almost out of sight. “Oh…” he picks up the cup to look inside it, then back towards Pete, “Thank you, Petey…”
i did this sometime last year and accidentally saved over the file after i flattened it (and forgot to unflatten it) so i lost all the original layers. i finally bit the bullet and attempted to finish up matt at least a little.,,i was tired of seeing it in my wips 95% finished 🚶
what i really like about max's character in npmd is that he fully recognises that he's in his prime at high school ("don't need no one to tell me/ high school will be my peak"), and he's more than willing to "take advantage" of that. he understands that this is as good as it's going to get for him, and that's why he's so reluctant to let go of it. he lets his god complex fester because he has so much power at hatchetfield high, and when he dies, he's able to enforce that even further. he doesn't care that the group "buried and left [him]/ defiled [his] body". like this, he's in his prime forever. he's just angry that his system has been destroyed, that he's clearly lost his power in his death. so he kills richie and ruth to restore that, intimidating them into acting just as they did before his death, even after richie makes new friends and ruth begins to embrace a role as a performer. they've just started to grow further as people and characters, and max puts a stop to it as soon as he can. he goes after pete and steph not beause they killed him, but because they're dating- exactly what he forbid just before his death; by defying him, they take away his power. his goal, as stated, isn't revenge. max views himself as a god, and refuses to let anyone take the little world he's created away from him.

This has definitely been pointed out before, but Grace 100% planned to kill Max in the old Waylon place. Like, I don't think that's up for debate. She brought bleach, plastic to tape the body up with, and a hatchet to dismember him. Also, as is pointed out several times, her father is the realtor. She would have known that the floor was unstable, and even if him falling wasn't her original plan, she still knew that you could pull up the floorboards to get enough space to hide a body.
TL;DR: Local Christian girl has one impure thought and plans an entire murder plot on local football star.
no cause, matthew michael murdock (yes i have to say his full name) would be so afraid of mentoring peter parker as a vigilante because what if he ends up like stick? and what if he puts this kid in danger? what if he kills this kid?
and then wade would be like hell yeah let's kill a bitch!! oh no killing? let's maim a bitch!!!
