【ハリーポッター聖地巡礼👨‍🎓】　打ち合わせした方 •耳ツボ事業を開始する経営者 •リフォーム関係の会社の経営者 •企業の営業マン　打ち合わせが終わり、エディンバラの街を散歩しました。最初はRoyal Mileというエディンバラ城へ向かう通りにある •セント•ジャイルズ大聖堂 •ハート•オブ•ミッドロージアン（心臓の形のモザイク模型） •メアリー•キングス•クロース •エディンバラ市庁舎 •Alexander and Bucephalus Statue（馬と人の像）を見学しました。　ハリーポッターの舞台になったエディンバラ城（ホグワーヅ魔法学校）を見ました！やっぱり下から見ると雰囲気が違います。その後、エディンバラの忠犬ハチ公•スコットランド国立図書館•ベドラム劇場などを見学した後にthe elephant house を見に行きました。ハリーポッターが執筆されたカフェがthe elephant houseなのです。ネットで調べたら人気な観光名所となっていて、最近のクチコミにもコメントが残されてありました。しかし、��念なことにここのカフェは潰れてしまいました。エディンバラで会った友達に聞いたら7日前に潰れたよと教えてくれました。。タイムリー過ぎる😂 　　お腹が空いたので近くの @saintgilescafeandbar でlunchを食べました。色々質問したのに丁寧に教えてくれました。注文したのはクロワッサンの上にベーコン&チーズ&蜂蜜が乗ってる甘〜い食べ物です。甘党男子なのでとってもおいしかったです。注文の前にコロナ関係のアンケートをしました。　　ホテルに戻って、友人と鬼滅の刃を観て楽しみました！僕は英語の良い勉強になりました。鬼滅の刃は簡単な英語表現が多いので助かります！【覚えた英語】 ↓↓↓ •you told me おまえは俺に言ったよな •I'll snap your breaks お前の腕をワシが折る •Why was he wearing a mask? なぜ彼がお面をしているのか分かりますか？　　鬼殺隊最終選考で大きな鬼を倒した場面まで観たので、ディナーを食べに外を歩きました。　歩いているとRoyal Mileの通りには不思議な脇道がいくつかあります。ここも観光名所の一つです。ハリーポッターに出てきそう、、。ずっと見ているとこの先に何があるんだろうというワクワクが止まらなくなりそうです。　良い感じのレストランを色々探したのですが、イギリスではお店の前に並ぶという文化はありません。なので完全予約制のお店が多いです。10店舗くらい予約なくて断られてしまいました。次回からは行きたいお店はちゃんと予約してから行こうと思います。　本日のディナーの場所に選んだのはカジュアルなハンバーガーショップ。注文したのは£9のハンバーガーと£3.5のフライドポテト。僕は英国紳士なのでもちろんフォークとナイフでうまく頂きました。上から刺してある串を少しずつズラして食べると綺麗に食べることができます。　　この日は早く帰って次の日も朝5時から打ち合わせがあるので21時には寝ました。　　 #エディンバラ #edinburgh #スーツでイギリス一周 #手ぶらでイギリス一周 #イギリス一周 #体一つでROMANある生き方を #ハリーポッター #ハリーポッター聖地巡礼 #ハリーポッターの世界 #ハリーポッターエリア #ハリーポッターカフェ #theelephanthouse #エディンバラ城 #エディンバラ城はリアルホグワーツ魔法学校だった #ホグワーツ魔法魔術学校 #ホグワーツ城 #セントジャイルズ大聖堂 #耳ツボ #royalmileedinburgh #greyfriarsbobby #スコットランド国立図書館 #nationallibraryofscotland #saintgilescafebar #メアリーキングスクロース #edinburghcitychambers #heartofmidlothian #Alexander and Bucephalus Statue #bedlamtheatre #鬼滅の刃 #さびと　 (The Elephant House) https://www.instagram.com/p/CThCcoDA09h/?utm_medium=tumblr

Do you ever use places you’ve been as inspiration for story settings? When I have story and I can’t get the setting just write I like to look through all my travel albums and find pictures of places I’ve been that I can incorporate into a magical, or original, or unique setting. For example for Arethusa I used all my photos of Edinburgh when imagined the cobblestone streets and stone buildings, the highlands as the outlying hamlets. It’s my favorite country from Nereid really. While I’m overcoming my writers block, I’m wishing I am sitting in The Elephant House working while a cup of tea magically refills throughout the day and a new scone appears every few hours lol the dream workspace 😍 what places have you used to creat settings for your stories?
