Did you read the Adjudicator's backstory that the Director/people from the show talked about? And that apparently they decided not to have anyone mention it on the show because it would make the audience sympathise too much with her? It makes zero sense at all. Rats ate her mouth when she was a baby because of her mother's neglect? This probably around the 1930s and she survived? And learned to talk and everything like nothing happened? Those scars don't even look like rat bites to begging with

I haven't, but I mean. That's all well and good, but it's literally extracanonical and therefore doesn't count? And to further disparage the creators-- if they were worried about making her too sympathetic, they a) did a huge disservice to Katie McGrath's ability to act absolutely reprehensible, and b) did us meme-knowers a huge injustice by assuming we wouldn't gleefully ascribe to the "cool backstory, still murder" gif.

And also, why does she need to be non-sympathetic? She wasn't our villain. Or any villain, really. She didn't actually do anything except get under Mel Gibson's skin, so obviously we were going to eat her up anyway.

I also want to point out that if the creators had this backstory, and it's cool-slash-important enough for the creators to talk about it with fans-- they should have put it in the FUCKING show. Releasing it as twitter bonus content is a real dick move.

why do we need to exclude people? we know exclusionism is bad from the ace discourse already. we could be one huge queer melting pot of diverse human experiences!

Ah, yes, the queer melting pot. Where we can take any gay culture and homogenize it into the nonsensical 'queer' ooze.

Ace exclusionism is bad. We can all agree on that. But having a boundary that men, be they trans or cis, are not lesbians is not the terrible exclusionism you think it is.

Lets start with a simple idea that involves a lot of nuance: Exclusion in itself is a tool. The tool is neither good or bad, and it depends on how you use it. I know you are going to misconstrue this idea, so I'll give you a an example. It is bad when a child is being excluded on a playground because they can't run fast enough. That is exclusion due to malice. However, a closed practice religion excluding you is not bad as this exclusion can revolve around certain experiences or protection against stolen and appropriated cultural aspects.

In the LGBT+ community, there are minor exclusions in the way of identities. For example, if you are cis you are excluded from the transgender experience. If you are allosexual/alloromantic, you are excluded from being ace or aromantic, ect. ect.

This nuance allows for the demonstration of exclusion existing to serve as a boundary making a safe space among marginalized groups. It is not bad to be excluded from these groups. These groups were made as a survival mechanism to have a safe space in which fellow people can talk about their experiences. For example, lesbian spaces exist and exclude men and that is okay. We exist in a patriarchal society that cannot stand women and nonbinary aligned identities existing outside the male gaze. The space is so that we can take a breather and be safe from those concerns and worries for a moment.

This also is a reason on why T4T, Bi4Bi, and Les4Les couples exist. They are not terrible for existing, they are seeking those who relate more to their experience as some people outside of their experience can unintentionally have internalized bigotry.

The funny lil black tentacle thing is their "controlled Soul Form"

They once had a run in with a Dark Matter that might've been something worse

Said "Dark Matter" made them have thousands of Voices in their head constantly yelling and screaming at each other

Shockingly didn't go insane from this because the Voices helped them through it

They also helped Rain/Chat figure out a way to make the Voices quieter

Rain/Chat can't talk normally, their voice sounds like thousands of other voices all talking at once

One day Rain/Chat decided that they couldn't live at the castle anymore, or even on Popstar, so they snuck on the Halberd and with the help of the Voices, landed on Misteen without being found.

After a bit if shenanigans with Meta and his crew, they were able to use their controlled Soul Form

The reason their soul doesn't shatter from using their Soul Form is because of the Voices

Eventually Dedede realized that he was missing a Dee and started panicking so Kirby and Co. went to look for Rain/Chat

Rain/Chat had found a place on Misteen to live and was very happy

Stuff happens, people get hurt, Rain/Chat tells the Star Allies to fuck off

They then build themselves a little treehouse thing with help from the people of Misteen

They start writing down everything the Voices tell them, from the time of the Ancients all the way to the present day

Because of this they have a lot of books. And i mean a LOT

Rain/Chat starts to make like medicine or something for the people of Misteen and eventually becomes known as "Healer" to them

Went to a venue as Grinnaux with @modchanisnori as Francel and we ran into someone so nice who chatted with us. I really appreciate that kind of thing. Fandroki thoughts (AU);

Childhood best friends to lovers - sure, in canon Fandral was Thor's friend first (leading to Loki's almost inevitable feeling of isolation and separation from the group), but if Loki and Fandral had met first, this trope would be impeccable

They'd do all the traditionally feminine things that neither of them are brave enough to do around others usually. Loki practices his magic, reads new literature from other realms, practices sewing, embroidery and rune carvine. Meanwhile, beside him, Fandral reads from his own book of poems, braids Loki's hair, occasionally practising some basic spells l, mostly healing magic.

(On one memorable occasion, Loki was reading a book of Midgardian poems aloud, and Fandral rested his head in the Prince's lap and dozed off while his hair was stroked and played with.)

And, when Loki realises "holy crap, I'm not just a dude!" Fandral is there for her, comforting her through the hormonal mood swings, cramps, hot and cold flushes and muscle cramping of her first cycle. Sure, it was awkward, but the way she melted and seemed so relieved when he massaged out a knot in her shoulders after she'd been in pain for hours was well worth it for him.

I feel like they'd have kids. Not TONS but a couple. The first is (of course) an accident- and Odin is NOT happy (but not evil). They're worried of course, and Loki is pissed when they realise that this means that theirs and Fandrals courting had to be officially announced, but it wasn't too complicated a pregnancy.

This of course means that Odin had to tell Loki early- can't have his youngest popping out a blue baby and being baffled while the child's father inevitably loses his shit over infidelity. Frigga is just annoyed and baffled it took them THIS long.

The reveal isn't as bad as in canon but still not good- Loki is pregnant and hormonal which is almost as bad as the amount of pure stress, pressure and hostility that MCU loki experienced but not quite- at least they weren't at war and Loki wasn't on the throne, so he had time to figure things out and lose his shit less monumentally for the people of asgard.

Screaming, shouting, crying, and a very suspiciously bruised Odin (He'd taken the baby rattle that Loki had been working on carving to the face), plus a very confused and unsure Thor, a worried and angry as hell Fandral, worried for his lover and a completely unsympathetic to Odins plight Frigga, and you have a rather amusing, even if stressful and upsetting, situation, if you asked Heimdall. (Not that anyone did)
