I think we should talk about the fact that satyrs age at half the speed that mortals do??

Grover was 28 in The Lighting Thief, physically 14, so...

Grover was 23 when he found Luke, Annabeth, and Thalia, and physically 11/12. Presumably mentally to some extent as well, considering, y'know. He doesn't exactly act like a 30 year old in the series.

He was older than Annabeth.

He was the same age as Thalia.

He was younger than Luke.

I wonder if Luke looked at this boy, seemingly the same age as Thalia but technically so much older, and seethed. Or maybe he couldn't bring himself to, because Luke hates, he hates so much, but it's a little harder when the face he tries to hate is round with baby fat and overtaken by teary eyes it hasn't quite grown into yet. It's a little harder when the face he tries to hate shares so many traits with the face of his best friend.

I wonder if Annabeth looked at this boy, once so much bigger than her, and realized that they could go to the same middle school class and not be questioned. That they could wear the same size now and it would fit — or hers might even be a bit bigger, really, because he's always been so scrawny.

I wonder if Thalia looked at this boy, fresh after her resurrection, and noticed that– well, he's not unchanged, he has grown, but it's not Luke-is-an-adult or Annabeth-is-a-teen grown; it's the same grown she sees in the mirror, maybe two or three years worth of it. And it's odd, because everyone else is so much older, but it brings her to tears sometimes, because at least someone is the age they should be, relative to her.

(She gets more used to it, once she halts her aging herself, but it's still something she clings to in those first days-weeks-months of her revival)

I wonder if Percy looked at this boy, his best friend since middle school, to see him becoming younger and younger. He was a little older than him, at first — by the time he's twenty, though, the roles have reversed. The gap only gets bigger and more noticeable with age. Grover never seems like an actual kid next to him, not the way Thalia does, but Percy is thirty and Grover hasn't even hit twenty-five. He tries to ignore it; he doesn't like to think much about his mortality in the face of everything, not after he was forced to do so every day of his teenage years.

I wonder if Grover ever looked at this boy in the mirror and compared himself to his friends, to the kids at Camp that were still missing their front teeth when he met them but now look so much older, and thinks about how painfully mortal they are in spite of their divinity.

We are a species of apes that just so happened to gain the ability of extremely complex and abstract thought, capability of language, an almost absurd level of self-awareness, and the type of intelligence that allowed us to discover, invent, and develop tools. A species of apes that just so happen to have such a crazy level of curiosity that we have the capability to learn about the world around us, and beyond.

The way we learn and develop is fascinating. If you observe a toddler from that standpoint, watching them interact with the world around them, you'd see how natural curiosity is to us, in our human nature. Neil deGrasse Tyson has literally said that children are beings of chaos because they're curious and learning about the world around them.

We all have children in us, just like we have our ancestors in us!!! Our brains are wired like theirs. Relatively, we have been in this state of society for an extremely short amount of time!! Our brains and nervous systems are still wired to survive and keep us safe from predators and other dangers!!

We are social creatures!! We need love and connection to survive!! We can't do things on our own. The only reason we ever got to where we are is because we work together and communicate and share knowledge. The way society is right now is too isolating!! Humans aren't meant to be fighting for a place in society!! Haven't you seen zookeepers?? Or anyone who cares for nature in any capacity?? We have an incredible capacity for compassion and caretaking, because we have the capability to know and understand the inner workings of ourselves and countless other species!! Caretaking and compassion is literally an innate human trait!! We're supposed to take care of each other and the world around us!! We literally are capable of pack bonding with ROOMBAS, for fucks sake!! Little robots that our ape brains see moving around on its own, being part of our homes, and thinks "little guy is alive... I love him"!!! Isn't that beautiful???

We were an evolution of Mother Earth, Herself, to grow Her and expand Her and care for Her!!! Whether you believe in intelligent design or just the absurdity of it all, it still happened like that. We have the capacity to care for Her in an evolved level, yet we're fucking it up so badly right now.

Indigenous cultures have always been on the right track. They've always been right about this. They have always known that we are all pieces of the same organism, just like the atoms and cells and organs and electricity in your body are all part of one body!!

And btw, culture is another HUGE part of us being social creatures!! Being expressive and creative and connected!! That's part of our nature!! We're meant to sing and dance and laugh together!! That connectivity of us being a collective is So Important!!! Making fun of people for being "sheep", or having "herd mentality" every single time is so stupid because yes!!! Yes that's EXACTLY how we are supposed to be!!! We are social creatures, remember?? The whole point is that we do things together!!!

I know how society is rn isn't the end all, be all, but it just breaks my heart that this Capitalism shit goes against some of the most beautiful parts of humanity!! We are animals!!! We are cute and curious and compassionate and social and we need warmth and sunlight and sustenance from the earth and water and sleep and shelter from the elements!! We have instincts just like everything else!! We came from the dust and we will return to the dust because we will always be part of the Earth, just like all the other animals!! And somehow, despite all odds, despite how robotic Capitalism wants us to be, our human nature seeps into everything.

Vega and Cammy are very similar and share several traits and I think a lot of it has to do with him having to train and take care of her and the other Dolls. It makes me so very insane that Vega is generally portrayed as this cold and uncaring murder guy who only loves himself, and yet...

Please look at these dialogues from Alpha 3. HE CARES ABOUT HER SO MUCH. IT HURTS. There's so much here. He wants her to be safe. He cares about the girl he took care of so much that he calls M. BISON A COWARD. Bison could kill Vega by looking at him and yet he stands up to him for the sake of someone else's safety. I rambled about their relationship and his feelings towards her more in a text to my gf I'm too lazy to rewrite:

Btw yes I am making a drawing about the braids. They hold so much symbolism TO ME. The braids he did for her... One of the few remaining things connecting them.... It means a lot to him, and you can see how much it means to him in A Shadow Falls:

While she's passed out he just stops to pick up one of her braids and his eyes immediately soften. And then he leaves without really doing anything because he sees that Cammy wants to protect Decapre, who she knows is her sister. He doesn't try to kill Cammy or anyone she loves. Every time he fights her he just sees her as a worthy foe (in the Alpha 3 dialogue up there he later changes his mind about Cammy not being a good opponent as he rescues her from the Shadaloo base). And later in A Shadow Falls when Cammy and Decapre are fighting the other Dolls, he goes against Shadaloo's ideals and frees the Dolls from the Psycho Power controlling them. At the end of the story he throws away his mask. Vega is not heartless... He has kindness and compassion... He has sweetie powers.... He just doesn't want you to know that because he hasn't been allowed to have emotions for so long... He's just stuck working for people he hates. Every time Bison isn't a direct threat to him he just goes back to Bullfighting. He doesn't care about those guys at all and the only thing truly keeping him is probably the fact Bison or another Shadaloo member would show up at his home and kill him if he quit. I think he wishes he could have the same freedom Cammy has... He's proud of her for breaking the cycle of being used as a tool by Bison and wishes he could be afforded the same luxury...

They all even pose the same way... There's a couple pieces of art where theyre posing this way and they share some similar moves too.... The parallels... They compel me....

I don't know if Cammy will ever piece together that Vega is her weird questionably evil possibly clone-related big brother. Decapre is much more similar to him visually and maybe that will tip her off. But for now all of her past growing up in House of Bison is known only to Vega and the fleeting memories kill him every day. He may feel particularly closer to Cammy but he stills shows care and compassion for Decapre too. He loves his sisters so very much and thus....

Nah wtf chill, try to ignore them both fighting the urge to break character and enjoy this indepth with me. Obviously read with caution as well, jbl does get aggressive with shawn during this and I will be talking about it. You obviously don't even have to read my post, you can just watch the video and see how that makes you feel.

Please remember this is all kayfabe and well, your allowed to have your own view on the storyline! This is mine :) in other words don't take my 12am rambles too seriously.

So jbl is clearly the abuser/abusive boss and shawns obviously the victim/worker right? I always try to figure out what's the true point of this storyline and I'm always like, that can't truly be it, why would wwe do something like this in a pg era? To show kids this behaviour isn't okay, what's the best way to show kids abuse isn't normal or okay? Have it thrown onto one of your biggest and fan favourite superstars. But I know the whole main subject is about money and how the banks and stuff had crashed and well, it also shows how people will become desperate and end up in these situations to survive and help their families.

So the start. Shawn is finally feeling confident and brave and finally stands up to jbl, and jbl, clearly sensing this, is quick to shut it down by reminding Shawn who has all the power in their situation. That Shawn cannot do anything about it because jbl will ruin his life in the blink of an eye.

I find this promo interesting because jbl has never actually laid a hand on shawn until this. Its all been verbal. Shawn has slapped him but jbl has never actually touched Shawn. Even when Shawn lost against cena. Well that's a point the only time prior this promo was when cena pushed jbl and jbl accidentally pushed Shawn. And well its not in the clip above but it is apart of this promo, jbl actually touches Shawn arm and shawn doesn't react well to it. His head snaps towards it, breaking eye contact with jbl, which most likely tells jbl that's how he can break shawns new found confidence.

So he starts prodding shawn, laughing at him, rubbing it in his face his obvious power and confidence over shawn. And well, it is a well known fact that shawn hates all the above, we've seen it with bret and Mike Tyson and Austin. Jbl makes sure Shawn knows he has more money and that's what makes him powerful. That he can buy Shawn and have Shawn reduced down to nothing but a product for jbl to make money off whilst Shawn has nothing. (coughs* vince *cough*)

I find it interesting that he lowers the mic and yells louder at shawn. Making it more personal between the two, I say this because someone sat nowhere near the ring is going to hear them. Especially with fans yelling and cheering. Hell, those sat by it might catch bits of it and that's all. Those arenas are loud as fuck.

One of the main points I want to get to is jbl blocking shawn. Shawn clearly senses he's in danger or atleast needs to get away and tries, but jbl won't let that. He follows shawn, keeping him trapped. Keeps attacking him. Yelling at me. Laughing at him and then finally slaps him. (Terrible slap compared to steph and shawns but oh well)

And then he goes back to what he's good at. Putting shawn down with words. He actually bounces off John cena. Cenas been telling shawn he still has it so jbl makes sure to tell him he doesn't, that he's past his prime, that he's old. (Jbl is 55 and shawn is 57. I find that funny btw) his attack of poking shawn turns to more pushes, more violent.

Wrestling God, making sure shawn remembers his place compared to jbl.

Sensing shawn getting upset, he mocks shawn desperation for money and stability and slaps him again.

This slap clearly breaks shawn as he backs himself into a corner and puts on the sad face and tears of the year. But jbl lowers his mic. He knows his work is done and from the fact that unlike everyone else, he doesn't even react when shawn turns to the side, he knows shawn isn't going to attack him. He knows shawn is too upset or scared to even try anything. He knows he's got into shawns head, that any confidence cena has built in shawn, its been burned down and destroyed.

I also notice shawn hesitates trying to walk past him. He can't read jbl and that probably scares him the most. Which is why jbl switches from laughing at shawn to a dead mean scowl. Shawn avoids eye contact with the outside world, cameras, fans. The only person he looks at is jbl. He keeps his head low as he walks away and out too the back. But before this, shawn avoids eye contact with jbl, and whilst jbl blocks him you can see him trying to force eye contact with shawn.

And well, jbl smiles/smirks cruelly as he watches this man, who he's broken, walk away in shame and fear. And walks away fast.

His plan is to have a fight with a scared and broken Shawn.

We see fear in shawns face multiple times during this storyline but we only see it this bad during this ending. We see it when jbl forces him to walk away from rey. When he's in the four man match for a title shot.

We see numbness on shawns face during limo scenes. Anger, guilt and disappointment in himself during lockeroom scenes. But fear in the ring.

I also noticed you hear fans but when you actually look at the crowd you see nothing until jbl hits Shawn. They react when he slaps Shawn. They don't even react when he turns because they too know Shawn isn't going to do it. It's not out of the ordinary for wwe to use fake crowd sounds. I mean, this whole thing would probably be a lot more serious and ugly without fans making noise. I mean even commentary stays quiet, even when both men stop talking.

I'll probably reread this and then edit it later. It's late and well I just want to post my brain rambles because well it's my blog and I should be allowed to do that. If I don't post it now it'll sit forgotten in my drafts, atleast if I do this I can just edit it and make changes later. MC and Vyn analyze their info, decide that Leo is hella sus; they interrogate Leo, find out that the woman was Lynn, Leo's gf; both of them were abandoned children, taken in by Selly. She was terribly assaulted and murdered a few months ago

After interrogation, they find out that Selly's phone had videos of Lynn's abuse. You can prob tell where this is going

Anyways, Vyn and MC expose Leo after all Floor 18ers congregate, he confirms that he murdered Selly out of hatred and fury after he found the videos, especially after Selly refused to repent

MC notices a small smirk on Xiao Ren's face when this happens

Leo attempts suicide, ends up unconscious

MC and Vyn find the situation sus - why did Leo only find out about the video so recently, and why don't the signs of the fight in the room seem to be bad enough to be lethal?

Also, Leo snapped way too quick earlier. MC also notes Xiao Ren's smirk earlier

The bartender tells them about a movie that Xiao Ren requested to have played at the bar, which he watched with Leo - movie plot is basically a mirror to what happened with Leo, Lynn, and Selly

Cut to Xiao Qing telling Luke that Tyson fed her pills

Back to MC and Vyn investigation, finding out that Selly was supposed to sell Xiao Ren NXX, but he just took the money; also that Xiao Ren switched out Selly's meds with Warfarin, an anticoagulant. Selly had to eat regular meds, so he had a lot of that, so when Leo attacked him, it led to internal bleeding that would not have been lethal, if not for the anticoagulant; then, Xiao Ren basically induced Leo to figure out Selly's crimes and attack him

Flashback about Tyson telling Xiao Ren that he'd fed Xiao Qing meds with NXX, leading to her cancer, and ofc the only way to save her was the theoretical/under development longevity drug

Vyn, MC speak to/call out Xiao Ren; he's completely chill until they bring up Xiao Qing; he then spills his plan (per above) - motive: killing Selly because XR needed NXX to help his sister, and Selly prevented him from doing so (also wanted Leo to be caught bc he viewed Leo to be a bystander who should've done something)

Xiao Qing shows up w the other NXX guys, begs XR to stop, he refuses. Suddenly explosions happen, XR bolts, everyone chases them down

XQ speaks to XR one-on-one, asks him if he won't stop as long as she lives; XR says yes. XQ accepts this, and commits suicide, wanting to set him free; XR is horrified (as is everyone else)

They get on Marius' plane after XR says that he's willing to surrender, and asks for justice for his sister

They ask XR some more stuff

Backstory time: Xiao Ren was once an abducted child living a hellish life until Xiao Qing took him, but they could only live in the north district due to lack of registration; Xiao Qing wanted to have them officially registered as a Stellis citizen, but you need a sponsor for that - hence they found Tyson, but...

Xiao Ren also confirms that the wristbands and VIP program at Heirson were done to collect data on the sus pills, and that there were sus pills mixed into batches

Huey confirms that it was Xiao Ren who let him go

Court case; MC representing Xiao Qing at the request of Xiao Ren vs. Howard Syter representing Heirson and Tyson, basically exposes everything and for the first time, talks about NXX in court

Percy Being Good To Nico

I love Percy and Nico friendship, but in canon, Percy was such an ass to Nico. So here are some ideas of how that could have been changed in a canon divergent fic

After the Battle of the Labyrinth, when Nico was trying to leave CHB and Percy stopped him, Percy gave Nico his phone number and home address in case of emergency (that’s how he knew where Percy lived)

After Percy’s birthday party that Nico crashed, Sally started getting Nico to come for dinner once a month, which caused Nico and Percy to become a lot closer

This seriously cut back on Percy’s stress because he wasn’t constantly worrying about Nico (like where he was, if he was okay, how many monsters was he fighting now, how much is he eating, where is he sleeping, when was the last time he actually performed any sort of self care, etc)

Pretty quickly once a month dinners became once a week dinners, which usually ended in Nico staying overnight

When Sally and Paul got married, they moved into Paul’s apartment, and Sally gave Nico the address. When he showed up the first Friday for dinner, he almost cried of joy (they had added an extra bed in Percy’s room for Nico to stay in)

Percy throws Nico a surprise party for his birthday every year, and Nico tried baking Percy a cake for his birthday one year. Suffice to say, it didn’t end well, but Percy still ate it with a smile on his face because his little brother made it for him

After that though, Percy and Nico agreed that Percy and Sally would stick to the baking, and Nico could stick to making meals

They had a two hour conversation after the Battle of Manhattan to talk about the Styx thing. It ended with a tearful apology from Nico, and a tearful hug from Percy. Now the two of them have a conversation twice a month about their feelings and bullshit that’s happened

Percy making Nico watch an endless stream of Disney movies (Finding Nemo, Moana, The Little Mermaid, basically anything that goes along with the sea)

When Percy finds out about Nico’s love of pirates, he gets Nico to watch all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies with him

Percy feeds Nico bullshit facts about the modern century (ie. the Soviet Union renamed themselves the Cotton Candy Brigade and then disbanded, but citizens of former soviet countries are still called Munchkins)

Nico feeds Percy bullshit facts about both the 30’s and Italy (ie. Italy is known to its citizens as the Peninsula of Cazzo, and that they didn’t have cutlery or plates in the 30’s)

Sometime between botl and tlo, Nico’s feelings for Percy morphed from romantic to brotherly

When Nico had to lie to Percy about who he was in SoN, it was the hardest thing he ever had to do. Percy knew that he knew Nico, and it crushed Nico that Percy couldn’t remember him, and that he couldn’t tell Percy anything. He hadn’t seen his big brother in almost a year, and now Percy didn’t remember him, and he couldn’t remind him

When they saw each other again on the Argo 2 before Percy and Annabeth fell into Tartarus, you cannot convince me that Percy didn’t give Nico a hug

Nico genuinely didn’t have a crush on Percy by HoO, he thought of Percy as a brother. He was still really ashamed of being gay, and he loved Percy (just in a very different way). That’s why Jason wasn’t sure if Nico still liked Percy or not after the Cupid thing. He could tell that Nico was ashamed and loved Percy, but he didn’t know that Nico just loved Percy in a different way

Nico got super ticked off at Percy when he said ‘are you sure you can do this’ to the shadow travel thing at the end of HoH mostly because Percy has a bad habit of treating Nico like he’s still that ten year old geek from Westover Hall

Like really. Everyone else around Nico sees a terrifying teenager who’s summoned army’s of the undead and destroys his enemies in ten seconds flat, but Percy just sees a kid with big eyes infodumping about his favourite card game wearing armour that’s three sizes too big telling him that he’s scared

It pisses Nico off because he’s not a little kid anymore, Percy! he can take care of himself! he isn’t gonna break the second he goes to fight!

Also, by extension, Nico and Tyson are siblings and Hazel and Percy are siblings (which adds Frank into their family, cause he’s Nico’s age and dating Hazel). So when Reyna, Nico, and Hedge were caught by Leah and Dakota on the boat, Nico was super excited to see his little brother again. He wasn’t even that upset when Tyson pulled him into a hug (even though he hates hugs)

When they see each other again at CHB after the Battle, they give each other a big hug. Percy tells Nico’s that he was so worried he’d never see his baby brother again, and Nico proceeds to make fun of Percy for waking up Gaia with a nosebleed

Also, after Reyna and Nico’s hug, Percy pulls Nico aside and is like ‘what’s the deal with you and Reyna’ and Nico’s like ‘she’s my sister now’ and Percy goes ‘oh, okay, cool. bring her around for family dinner next weekend’

Same with Jason, Rachel, and Meg, too. Percy’s always down for more adoptive family being around

After Nico came out to Percy and Annabeth, and told Percy that he’s gay, Percy went to the infirmary to talk to Nico. He wasn’t allowed in at first, but he waited outside for three hours so he could speak with Nico

Of course, this led to a three hour discussion, which involved a lot of apologies from both of them, and a lot of shared stories, and laughs, and a few tears. Percy told Nico he shouldn’t be ashamed of who he is, and he should’ve told Percy sooner

When Percy went home for the school year, and to see his parents again, Nico joined him. There were lots of tears, hugging and blue cookies. Then Sally grounded them both for staying away for so long and worrying the hell out of her and Paul

When Percy sees Nico and Will interact, he makes it his goal to make them a couple. He and Jason spend hours plotting ways to get them together

Whenever Nico’s away from home for any amount of time, Percy gives Nico a big hug, ruffles his hair, and complains that he stayed away

When Nico first moves to New Rome for university, Will’s living in Massachusetts for Harvard Med School, so he moves in with Jason and Percy for a few years while he gets a degree in linguistics and anthropology

Btw, Annabeth thought Percy would distract her when she was trying to study, so she moved in with Piper and Reyna, and Percy moved in with Jason. It should’ve only taken her 4 years to get her masters in architecture, but the university offers a bunch of history, math, and design classes that she took because they were really interesting (it ended up taking her 6 years)

I'd like to know some headcanons/random facts about Aylin Esther, one of our beloved OCs for Kai. Like, how did she first met Bladebreakers, her past (maybe?), and other similar things.

Oh my...finally an ask about Aylin :P. Thank you so much for the ask, dearie. Here it goes.

1) The first she physically met the Bladebreakers as their new coach (When Hiro was gone again), but before it, she worked as a part-time commentator during the matches. In a friendly match between Tyson and Kai, Kai was on the verge of losing almost. But...Aylin's fiery voice and bursting commentary made Kai win that (Sorry, Tyson fans...don't be sad because she showed no indifference to praise Tyson in that match too). From the same game, Aylin and Kai started knowing each other.

2) Aylin is very simple. Neither she is so beautiful in appearance, nor does she come from any high-background family. She's just an average engineering student, an admirer of arts and creativity. She loves singing and writing, plus she's quite a good orator too. Often she helps the bladers prepare their speeches if someone of them has to join any interview/press conference.

3) She loves to be behind the team always, doesn't like to take credits at all (Duh, what's her credit btw? :P). She speaks quite less than Hilary in personal life (Not in professional life :P) but when she opens her mouth, her tongue becomes a pair of scissors. Her words are savage but she tries her best to speak the truth not by hurting anyone. Hurting or humiliating someone is the least thing she wants.

4) She has long, red hair which crosses her hips. A bit wavy it is. Usually, she keeps her hair braided but when Bladebreakers/Kai loses a match, she forgets to bind it. When you'll see her going to bed by keeping her hair unbound or not combing her hair, know that she's in stress/depression. *Sighs* Also, she wears specs.

5) She's a mommy-like friend to the Bladebreakers, specially to Tyson. She cares for him a lot, sometimes, they often get engaged to a fight (Most of the times because Tyson pranks on her). She consoles Tyson when he misses his mom. Almost the same for Max; you can see them often sharing their chocolates with each other. With Ray, she's a very good listener; they will talk endlessly about philosophy and different views of different people. They cook dessert items in the kitchen too. And what to say about Kai? She gives him his own space, doesn't interfere about his private life but when he needs something, she shows herself. Sometimes, she talks to Kai just like Kai himself to irritate him but Kai feels rather amused. With Kenny, she helps him collect the data of a battle/Beyblade.

6) After her arrival, somehow, Hilary becomes a bit gentler and quieter (Not much, only a bit). She combs Hilary's hair and dresses it with beautiful flowers. Often, they buy matching dresses and shoes from the market and click photos after wearing them. Sometimes, they both create a destruction when they tend to cook together but in the end, thanks to Aylin, she manages everything. :P.

7) But it doesn't mean that she's always very sweet. Often, you can see her chasing Daichi with a broom all over the house. Why? Because he calls her "Great-grandma" -_- -_-. Besides, sometimes, she gets angry with Bladebreakers too. Then, she threatens them, "I'll leave you and become the coach of Blitzkrieg Boys!" Kai has to calm her down and convince her at that time *Sighs* :P.

Wait what's the Jasico ATLA AU? 👀

The year is who cares

Kronos, leader of the Air Nomads, has taken a violent approach to air bending, much like Zahir. Fire Lord Jupiter takes it upon himself to kill Kronos and eliminate the entire race of airbenders in his youth

As he reaches adulthood he bears two children: Thalia, a prominent and graceful fire bender who prefers to lightning bend, and Jason, who (presumably) does not know how to bend at all. In order to appease his wife, Fire Lady Juno, he lets her raise him, and so he lives his first fifteen years of his life as a diplomat. Jupiter is aware that the Avatar should be born in the Fire Nation this time around but not sure where.

In school, Jason has two friends: Piper, whose father is a prominent actor for the Ember Island players, and Leo, whose mother was a war mechanic who helped create the ships before she died. One day, Jason gets invited to one of his father’s war meetings, under the belief that Jupiter wants him to counsel.

Instead, he finds out that his father is planning on eliminating the Earth Kingdom and Northern Water Tribe next in order to maintain power over them. Jason tells his father this could be unwise, his father challenges his (presumably non bender son) to an Agni Kai to discipline him. Jupiter goes for the kill, and Jason accidentally blocks with a gust of wind, thus confirming he’s the newest Avatar.

While Jupiter plots to utilize Jason in the war, Thalia kidnaps Jason, throws him on a boat to set sail towards the Southern Water Tribe (where they no longer do trade with) to keep him safe for the time being. Little known to Jason, Leo is sleeping in the bunker below.

Cut to Percy, who has heard stories about his father, the chief, who died in the previous war. Percy is the last water bender in the Southern Water Tribe, who takes great pride in wanting to protect his mother and sister and stepdad. He sees the Fire Nation ship sailing towards them and prEPARES FOR BATTLE

Except it’s just a kid and he’s actually pretty cool

Sally reveals this his father never died in the previous war, that his father is actually Poseidon, chief of the Northern Water Tribe. She advises that if they want to protect the world, they should start there. Percy agrees to help navigate so he can learn to water bend and meet his father

Some other shenanigans

Ares, Jupiter’s war advisor assists in assembling an elite team of warriors to retrieve Jason, including Frank, Octavian, and Clarisse

Frank is pretty freaked out that Octavian thinks he’s a seer that can see things by stabbing stuffed animals, they have to stop at every port too often to get more stuffed animals, it’s a travesty. Clarisse is pretty violent (Eventually he yeets himself off this ship and asks if he can join them)

Piper is somewhere in the mix, she somehow ends up on Kiyoshi Island (literally just Athens) where Annabeth shows her it’s possible to be beautiful and a warrior

Tyson is an architect who helps build things in the North Pole, Percy is jealous at first but he loves his little brother.

Eventually when Jason needs to learn how to earthbend, he finds a lead at a swamp, sees a boy called the Ghost King. Leo sees Hazel, Percy learns how to swampbend

Hades has quite literally closed the doors on the Earth Kingdom and refuses to go to war after the death of his daughter, Bianca, who he was going to send to train the Avatar. They sneak in anyway because why not

Nico has since given up on the life of earth bending. Instead, he’s more fascinated with the idea of the Spirit World and tries to become an air acolyte to have a deeper connection to travel and be at peace with Bianca’s spirit. He’s only been able to access the spirit world once: near a town that was recently slain by the Fire Nation. He sees the spirit of a Fortune teller’s daughter and is able to bring her back to her body. Nico brings her back to Ba Sing Se, Hades says “alright cool, btw this is your sister”

Hazel is pretty fucking amazing at earth bending, Nico sneaks her out to go fight at Earth Rumble the same way Bianca would for him. He is found. He says they’re not helping the avatar, the air acolytes are peaceful people and he’s a PACIFIST besides he has a tea shop and there’s no one to tend to it while he’s gone

Eventually Jason needs to learn how to firebend for realsie and wants to sneak back into the Fire Nation so Thalia can train him, but she was off doing her own thing by creating a rebellion among the women in the Fire Nation. Leo has no choice but to train him

Its kinda embarrassing bc I only got like 35 seconds in the challenge, but thats because I didn't get home until 10 when the challenge was due at 10:30 bc I was seeing a movie with my crush. The saga of L.A thinks she is going home at tribal tonight continues. Luca flipping put me into a shit position, I wanted both Allie and Willow gone and now they want me gone which is fair. There is very little chance Mitchell will side with me, he isn't really talking to me about the vote, and I did try to vote him out last round so there is that too. I still think Willow, Allie and Aro have no chance against Mitchell, but they could be waiting til after I'm gone to take him out but who knows. We don't actually know what the flare is, we think its a vote steal but who tells what their item really is? honestly, this is a gaming of lying, if he has an advantage like that why would he tell people? it makes no sense to me, just like idols. I have learned if you REALLY have an idol you don't tell people. If we can get Aro to vote Willow we might be okay but once again, I haven't heard much from him.

I need to write a longer confessional in like an hour but I'm about to re watch an episode of Pearl Islands. Anyway I know Luca is lying to me, I know they're writing my name down, my perfect record of not getting a vote cast against me is about to be ruined lmao.

Tonight should be pretty easy unless an idol is played. Luca thinks the only people who he can beat are me and LA and wants to get to the end with us. He , La and Ryan wants to blindside Willow tonight. I know my chances of winning are pretty low, but I'd rather lose to Willow than Luca tbh

Okay so this vote will probably go 4-3. I just need to hope it goes in my favor. Ryan really wants me out bc he thinks I'm a threat, and he was talking to Mitchell and Aro about voting me out. Ryan told them that he wants to get rid of me and Allie's duo, and he told Mitchell that he sees me as a bigger threat. I don't really see myself as much of a threat, but I do think there are a few people I could maybe beat at FTC if I make it. I know this sounds selfish but I wish they were voting for Allie over me because one of the only things I've had going for me in this game is that no one has ever voted for me throughout this whole game, oh well, I guess I can't avoid it this round. I just have to hope that LA doesn't play an idol and that I can actually trust my alliance as much as I think I can, bc if one of them flips then I'm fucked.

So it's right before tribal and I'm feeling good. RTP and Luca desperately tried to get Aro and myself to flip against Willow; their desperation makes me think that's their true angle for this vote, and it didn't work out. Luca makes some good points but fails to consider that I've got a F3 with Aro and Willow and that Willow is probably my closest ally in the game. Additionally, he's asking me to boot her over LA, who literally does not benefit my game at all ! Like the girl is nice and I like that she likes Kingdom Hearts but she just doesn't do it for me. We can hardly have conversations and we don't talk game, and I know she's not going to the end with me, so she's gotta go. Provided I'm not about to get royally shanked as I typically do every other round since the merge, I'll be at F6 with an idol, an advantage in the game, and two F3 deals with an obvious target in RTP. If I can just finally best RTP in an immunity challenge at F6, I play the idol at F5 and make it to F4 where I'd like to think that my deals made will carry me to the end where I can finally win. I'm nervous because it's all so clear-cut to me - a legitimate winning path to the end. And if it's so obvious to me, others are gonna pick up on it eventually. I'm hella nervous but I think all the pieces are in place for things to go well tonight. And if not... I'll be seeing Dana and Zak a lot sooner than expected!! Holy shit, my confessional game has been WEAK this season. Haven't done one in such a long time, but I have been pretty busy playing the actual game and doing IRL shit a lot. Here we go though. I've been on the right side of a few votes here, Lexi and Zakriah. Then I attempted a failed blindside on Willow and I've realised that I just gave up control of the game to Mitchell!! Silly me! But it was the only way to avoid rocks. I'm likely going out soon despite having Ryan with me as Willow/Allie seem to not want to vote out literally the biggest threat here. My hope resides in getting either the two of them or Aro to vote out Mitchell, his flare will hand him auto F4 I swear to God. That's it for today, until next time!

(Let's pretend I sent this after I was voted out) I am not shocked about the vote, I knew there a slim chance Aro or Mitchell would flip. I have enjoyed playing with everyone. There are things I wish I had done differently but its all things to learn from. As of right now, I hope RTP or Mitchell make it to ftc, and I'm just really glad I made it to jury.
