a/n: I saw something like this awhile ago and forgot to write abt it but here I am now babyyyy (there is already a part 2 in progress bc i wanna do 10 characters lmaoo) also not proofread bc im tired :P

"Toji, you threw a fucking wet washcloth at me and told me to clean myself up. I'm your girlfriend, not one of your one night stands!" There it is, and the bad part is he doesn't even see what's wrong with that. (at first)

"I don't even give them something to clean up with, I just leave. But damn if you want me to get all fancy and shit I'll try." He scratches his head and begins to wonder why women are so hard to please.

Let me tell you he's no Nanami, but it's getting better. Still falls asleep afterward most times tho :/

Geto Suguru

You do it yourself for the most part, and here's why.

He's over here washing you up in the tub and he can't stop staring at your soapy titties and it just leads to more sex.

That night you weren’t the only one who couldn’t fall asleep. Neytiri was too thinking abt someone. Someone she couldn’t be thinking of in that way. Someone who was sitting right next to her. She cursed herself for thinking of you like that. Your people were demons not to be interacted with, horrible creatures. But something about you made her maybe give it a chance. No she could not maybe Ewya was testing her, testing her loyalty to her people. Ewya would never allow something like this to happen so why was it?

There was a war in her mind that night. She tried to ignore the way your smooth skin felt on hers. The way goosebumps came onto her skin when yours touched. She had never felt this way for anyone no Na’vi, especially not a human. When she saw a human she killed them. So why didn’t she? There was no sign from Ewya but if Ewya did not want this you would’ve killed her right? So why didn’t you WHY DIDNT YOU KILL HER NEYTIRI.

That was a question she couldn’t answer. She eventually let out a cry for not having any answers. She couldn’t tell anyone about this. She told her mother everything about herself she loved her so much. If she found out she felt this way it would kill her. She felt a tear come down her cheek with a sniffle following it.

You were still up you heard a sniffle coming out of the Na’vi next to you. You shifted your head towards her. You wanted to ask what was wrong but she probably didn’t want a human to try and comfort her. After hearing a few more whimpers and sniffles you didn’t care if she wanted your help or not you could at least try right? You leaned over not enough to touch her but enough for her to hear you. You slowly whispered

“Neytiri are you alright?” Silence overcame the both of you.

She stopped immediately nobody was supposed to hear her. Only herself and Ewya so why was this human up? She cursed herself for not being quieter. Her body became cold she could not tell anyone about her thoughts especially not you NOT you.

“I am fine human” A sniffle following that.

You knew she wasn’t ok. the least you could do was try to comfort her after all her people have done for you right?

“Neytiri you can tell me I will not judge” you weren’t going to you couldn’t judge people. People judged you all the time and you hated the feeling. You weren’t about to ask her if she was ok and then judge her for it. She turned your way, wiping away any loose tears coming out. She let out a sigh looking down trying to find words to say without actually telling you what was wrong. She couldn’t believe she was about to be open with a human.

“It is just there someone I feel a way towards but I do not know if Ewya agrees.” She looked up at you hoping you wouldn’t realize it was you.

You understood what she felt you had so many bad crushes on earth on the wrong people. You didn’t in any way think she was talking about you bc she hated you. You thought on what to say not wanting to make her mad.

“I have felt that to! There is always a reason you feel a certain way so just let it be and Ewya will guide you” you gave her a quick smile hoping she would take your advice.

She just rolled her eyes wiping away her tears with a smile on her face. You sounded just like her sister. She missed her she never saw her anymore either she moved away with her mate a long time ago.

“You sound just like my sister human” you smiled at that

“Is that a good thing or a bad thing?” You let out a giggle tilting your head for a response.

“Do not worry it is a good thing” she smiled turning around to get some sleep. All this crying made her tired. She hadn’t cried in awhile she embraced it. She took your advice and let herself think these things. Maybe you humans weren’t so bad maybe you were smart. But she couldn’t be with you she wouldn’t let herself go that far.

The next morning you woke yourself up. You sat up stretching yourself. Yawning you quickly collected yourself and looked over to see Neytiri still sleeping you got up moving to sit in front of her patiently waiting for her to get up to tell you what you were doing today. Waiting patiently you let your thoughts wonder. You were probabaly going to go hunting today. No it’s too early for that you just learned how to work a bow yesterday. Maybe you were going to make some clothes. Or maybe learn how to patch up hurt Na’vi. No they wouldn’t trust you that easily. Whilst you were staring into space you hadn’t noticed Neytiri had sat up and was calling you.

“Human what are you doing?” You quickly snapped out of it looking up to this 6ft tall Na’vi woman looking down at you. You stood up apologizing for ignoring her. She just rolled her eyes.

“It is ok let us go now” she tapped your shoulder. You couldn’t believe she let that slide. She would’ve just rolled her eyes and walked off. Maybe it was because of your conversation last night. Yeah probably you had kinda forget about that.

As you walked to follow her down the tree you asked “So what are we doing today?” As you jumped off the thick branch trying your best not to slip off.

“You are learning out people’s language” coming down to the last branch she looked up at you patiently waiting for you to come to her level.

“I am excited” you let out a huff of annoyance trying your best to not look hopeless coming down to the last branch.

“Hm” turning her back to you as you came to her side walking with her.

She walked you to into the forest which lasted for hours what it felt like. Moving countless branches and leaves out of your way. You finally noticed a clearing in front of you. It was beautiful there was a thrashing waterfall with the sun beaming off of it which created a rainbow with pink and white in it. The sun in pandora was much different then the one on earth. You let your mouth drop at its beauty. You had to stop and just look at it it was so amazing. You just stood there for awhile admiring its beauty you hadn’t realized you looked kinda dumb just standing there. As neytiri was waiting for you sitting on the glistening grass.

You snapped out of your 2nd trance of the day looking around for Neytiri. She was just looking at you waiting for you to come over. Walking over you felt the grass becoming wet from the waterfalls waters. You didn’t mind because it felt good your feet were hot and tried from walking so long in the hot forest. Sitting down in front of her crisscrossed you gave a quick smile waiting for her to talk.

“All Na’vi speak the same language called Na’vi, it is what connects us to eachother in order for you to live here you must learn our language human” straightening yourself you nodded your head waiting for the lesson to start.

“Kaltxi! Is hello Is it pronounced Kal-teh. now you try”

“Kale tai” you answered all you got in response was an eye roll from her.

Annoyed she tried again

“No it is Kal-teh! Kaaal-tehhh now try”

You didn’t give up tho trying again

“Kaltxi” You let it slip off your tongue hoping you did it right this time.

“Yes good job human. Now I will introduce myslef in Na’vi. Oeru syaw Neytiri”

You had no idea what she just said but you weren’t about to ask her so you tried your best again.

“Oeri sayaw Y/n”

“No it is Oeru syaw”

“Isn’t that what I just said Oeri sayaw?”

“No! It is Oeru syaw”

“Ok Oeru syaw”

Giving you a glare “yes Oeru syaw is when your introducing yourself to someone. Like when you meet a stranger you say Oeru syaw and your name”

“Oh ok so like Oeru syaw y/n right?”

You saw a quick smile appear on her face

“Yes yes like that!”

The rest of the day you were taught more of the Na’vi language. Whenever she talked about it she seemed so passionate about it. You hadn’t realized how passionate she was about her people. You knew she loved them but she actually really cared about all of her people every single one. You now understood why she hated your people more then the average Na’vi. It was because she loved them so much and your people had hurt them.

She finally gave you a break from your lesson. You decided to go swimming in the nervy waterfall. Walking into the water it was nice and warm to your surprise. Closing your eyes you dived in with no hesitation. The last time you went swimming you almost died. You laughed at that it seemed so long ago when it was only a few days ago. Opening your eyes you were met with glowing sea plants. Reaching out your hand to touch a long plant with balls along its sides. The contact gave you shivers as you ran your hands down the interesting plant in front of you. You noticed the root started to change colors from your touch. The changing color grew from the root to the whole plant. Making it a neon purple.

Pandora was so beautiful you thought it was a shame you were only on this planet to destroy it along with its people. Ridding th thought from your head you just wanted to enjoy this moment. It was a rare one you were just enjoying being happy it had been so long since you had felt try happiness that would last. Back at the lab you were always busy and stressed too distracted to enjoy the present moment. Coming up for air you looked around for your mentor to be only met with nothing.

Turning around to find her right in front of you. You gave her a smile before splashing water in her face and laughing. I’m response she did the same splashing with you and laughing. Swimming closer to her and pushing her head underwater. Trying to fight back she pulled your waist down trying to be in control.

Your back now to her chest as you fought to get out of her grip. She brought you both up for air. As you gasped you realized how close you two really were. Looking down at her hands now only an inch from your breasts. You blushed as you tried to free yourslef from her grip. You had never been so close to her her hands were strong and so was she. She just laughed at your weak actions to get free from her causing you to give up and turn around to meet her gaze.

Looking into your eyes you settled your arms on her shoulders only inches from her face now. Her eyes wandering your nimble body. Your eyes now only looking at her lips. They fit so perfectly on her face. They were so full you were almost jealous of the woman in front of you.

You almost wanted to intertwine each others lips together. Wanting so bad for her lips on yours for just a second is all you wanted. You could feel your body heat up from the close contact. Bringing your hand up to her neck and moving your gaze to her eyes to be met with hers on you. Opening your mouth to talk you were interrupted by her grasp moving away from your body as you watched her swim away from you.

Following her out of the water you stood far from her trying to get the water off of your body by shaking yourself.

“We must go now” she said still thinking about the moment you two just shared.

Summary:u entered collage everything was going amazing u had your bsf with u but there was one problem ur collage roommate… (also there is a plot twist about heeseung and jungwon there not as close as u think)

It was your first day at dark blood university and it was going pretty well even if u weren’t going to share a dorm with your bff it just gave you another opportunity to make a new friend…or so u thought

Your in-front of your new dorm from the lay out u were sent it didn’t seem small so u were happy there was a lot of space as you take your keys and jiggle it in the nob the door opens and it a guy he’s tall handsome and has broad shoulders “oh hey i think u have the wrong dorm “ u look at him confused “what do u mean this is dorm 38 right “he looks at u also confused “well yeah but your a girl and girls and guys don’t share dorms so maybe your mistaken”ur really confused now u thought that your roommate was a girl so u call the front desk

U finished lots of chores in the dorm doing u and Jungwons laundry mostly his cleans the kitchen so u went to go shower and when you had just gotten out of the shower u had just some shorts and an over sized t-shirt u went to the living room to go watch on the tv and while u were sitting there jungwon came out

U said he looked at u but didn’t say anything feeling embarrassed u got up and wanted to leave to your room

U turned around

“I’m uh gonna order pizza do u want some”

Even tho he’s been an ass this was free food and EVERYONE LOVES FREE FOOD so u agreed

The pizza got there jungwon had also bought some sodas to witch u were greatful for not sure wether to speak or not but just as u we’re about to he spoke

i was talking to my friends in my discord server abt how demonized ashe is for being a loud country woman who’s also in a position of power

i was bringing up how characters like hanzo and gabriel get their actions excused because they’re attractive men and i was like “yeah people hate ashe for slighting cassidy but apparently thats way worse than hanzo literally hacking away at his younger brother with a sword?”

like i feel like people undermine how brutal it was like he didn’t just stab him one and done it was a massive fight and genji has everlasting scars + his legs are either very broken or cut off considering he mentions wanting to walk again in retribution

and yeah i get it GENJI forgives hanzo but i don’t

Yeah I do agree that people forget how brutal what Hanzo did to Genji was. It was too the point where it was only Angela who could save him. In a world where medical technology has far surpassed our own, do you know how bad it would have to be where only one of the worlds best doctors can save you? It would be bad-

I found a post awhile ago that goes into Genji's cybernetics and what would have been injured;

Yes's it's speculation but it's still worth noting that Genji lost more than half his body mass.

And with Gabe he was pulling a bunch of Bullshit before he even joined Talon. Going behind Jack's back, the Rialto incident, actively putting more people in danger by not thinking things through to point he should have. Let's not forget the little comments he makes towards Genji about Hanzo, and the fact that he let Moira into Blackwatch, someone who no one trusted and who ended being the catalyst of Talon infultrating Overwatch.

Contrast this to what Ashe has done, which is gang activity and being mad at Cole. It really is kind of unfair how the treatment of the two is so different. Yes it's hinted that Ashe somewhat lost her way in the early days of Deadlock's founding;

Putting the gang in danger and possibly even getting some members killed because she was going bigger and bigger too quickly. This didn't just cause problems with law either, but with other gangs too;

Deadlocks rapid growth got them being attacked from all sides, but do you know what she does in contrast to Hanzo? In contrast to Gabe?

She realised that what she what she was doing wasn't working, she look at what she was doing, corrected it, then went for a more diplomatic approach. Ensuring the safety of both her gang, her family, but other gangs around the west too. After Gabe and Hanzo lost something they seemed to just double down and accept what happened while also trying to do something that at least gave the choices they made meaning. Trying to at the very least get something out of what they lost.

Ashe lost Cassidy. Though I don't think that is the only reason Ashe took the diplomatic approach, personally I think Cassidy and Ashe had a fight about morals and what was happening with the gang before he was captured and that's why she took the diplomatic approach, because she knew Cassidy was right. Either way she didn't double down, she looked at her behaviour and corrected.

Honestly the whole situation with Hanzo is going to be interesting, people say that the interactions in game between Hanzo and the other members shows that he'd get along with everyone instantly. But I think that would only be true for Mei, everyone else who were close to Genji while he was in Blackwatch are going to be very distrusting at first. Hell the fact that Angela and Hanzo have not interactions says to me that if they interact outside of story missions it would be a spoiler. (I am of the opinion that Cassidy and Angela are going to meet Hanzo together purely because Genji needs someone to stop Angela from committing a murder)

I think people forget that Genji forgiving Hanzo is a big thing for Genji's development, not just Hanzo's, and I do think that people are expecting them to get along like brothers when that dynamic can't really happen, I think it's part of the reason the writers added in the "your like a brother to me" interaction with Cassidy and Genji. It's also why I like that Kiriko was introduced, it gives Hanzo the ability to have a familial connection again. Neither of them can forget the damage that has been done, even before Hanzo tried to kill Genji.

I personally look at Hanzo and Genji in the same way I look at Cassidy and Ashe. Yes, they can become close again, but things can never go back to the way they were. Trust has been broken, people have changed and damage has been done. All they can do is move forward, with, or without each other.

(thank you for your patience Anon! AsIsHerRight just asked for an update on Eddy's transition as well and I know I did a very brief ask ages ago, but here is something more substantive.)

Mornings after show days were slow affairs, but eventually, Eddy dragged herself into the shower and stood under the pounding heat. She kept her hair in it's braid, avoiding getting it wet. It would last another day or two before she had to go through the ritual of a wash. Maybe she should cut it.

Probably not though.

The fan had been running, the window cracked, so there was far less steam then usual when she stepped out and reached for her toothbrush. She paced around the bathroom as she brushed her teeth, stopping to look out the window, then meandering back to the sink. A few last vigorous brushes...

There was movement in the mirror.

For the first six or seven months with the injections, Eddy had monitored their body with intense scrutiny. There had been small changes, each one delighting them. But nothing seismic. After awhile, they had relaxed their vigil, irritated at their own intensity.

It was ten months in now. And something had very definitely just...jiggled. She used her towel to wipe the mirror free of the last of condensation. Feeling slightly ridiculous, but with no one else there to see, she wiggled a little.

That was definitely a full on jiggle. She clapped a hand over her mouth, suppressing a strangled laugh. Then bounced again.

"Stede!" She called out.

"One second, honey!" He sounded far away, probably downstairs. She didn't feel like waiting.

Discarding her towel, she went downstairs stark naked. He was holding two steaming mugs at the bottom.

"Oh hello," he grinned, eyebrows shooting up. "I was going to try to tempt you back to bed with beverages, but I see that's not needed."

"No! I mean, yes, probably, but in a second," she reached the bottom. Pointed to her nipples. "Watch."

"I'm watching," he assured her.

She bounced.

"Oh well, look at that!" His eyes went wide. "I knew you were definitely have some development, but that's very clear, isn't it?"

"Tits!"

"Tits," he agreed with a laugh. "Very impressive, darling. Are you pleased?"

"I think so," she took one of the mugs from him. The one with the purple leaves around the rim was usually hers. "Can you believe it? I'd given up, honestly."

"I don't know why, you read all the same things I did," Stede absently took a sip from his mug, his eyes still very definitely on her chest. "Some people have results two or three years in. And I told you I thought there was a change weeks ago."

"Yeah, but there's like all these small things and it's so hard to fucking tell." The coffee was beautifully sweet.

"It's not small, dear," Stede finally looked away, rustled in his robe pocket and pulled out his phone. "Look..hold on..."

He pulled up a photo. It was from the tour last summer, one of the better stops that was all lush and green. She was standing in front of the RV, a pair of sunglasses pushed up into her hair and most of her body on display in her black shorts and purple crop top. Stede had taken it while they were mid-discussion and she was smiling a little, but not broadly, her stance neutral, arms loose at her sides.

"Oh, oh wow," Eddy gazed down at it.

"I know it's hard to see day by day," Stede kissed their shoulder. "But it's there."

"Look here," they grazed a line of over their hips in the picture.

"It's happening," he nodded.

They considered the Eddy in the photo, then tilted their regard to today's flesh, subtly re-arranged.

"You know what this means?" They handed him back his phone.

"What's that?"

"You are taking me shopping for bras," she said delightedly.

"Of course I will," Stede beamed at her. "Some nice silky bits and bobs. I know just the place."

"I knew you would."

She does lead him back up the stairs first, coffee left to go cold on the bedside tables. He lavished attention on her chest, and she sighed into it, hitching one leg over his back, toes curling as he lapped over one nipple.

Today, her boots had landed on even firmer ground, the pit ever further behind her, barely a splotch on the horizon.

an artist i rlly like on ig (who made a post abt them stopping their acc) blocked me bc i commented abt how even tho i love their art they annoy me cuz one time they made a post abt them getting kicked out and having no one and barely any money, so i sent over $75 cuz i was feeling generous and ofc, i didnt want them to go through that esp cuz theyre my age (20). then like the next day they posted about how their parents were helping them now and they had an apartment etc and then they just. Never mentioned that again. and obv i gave money wanting nothing in return even tho i couldve asked for a commission or something but i just felt wrong and used after they *seemed* to just go back to exactly how things were and seemed to be doing fine. my comment was definitely too blunt and rude but they responded (i was driving home from work so all i saw was like ‘bruh i literally got kicked out wtf do u mean…’) but when i got home i found out they blocked me on all my accounts. Now im sad cuz i never got to explain how i felt and what my experience was and i never got to find out what actually happened and why they seemed to be perfectly fine after 1 single day of being kicked out. this is just a vent. i think its probably mature of them to just block me instead of sending rude comments or having their followers come after me but like… im sad lol. especially cuz i miss their art, i have a few screenshots from awhile ago but.. 🙁

so i read this fic awhile ago where jj actually asks kie what his dad said to her in the car when they were dropping him off.. like he brings it up bc he knows that something happened between them and oh my god as soon as i read it i could kinda see it happening on the show? i mean lol its wishful thinking bc this show forgets its shit sometimes but the idea of it happening, like yes itd be good for them to talk abt their parents you know or kinda bond over it since theyve alr seen each other in vulnerable moments w their parents

Yes!! I can absolutely see this happening.

I don’t think they’ll have a callback to that specific scene with Kie and Luke at this point but I think there is plenty of opportunity for them to talk more about their parental troubles. It’s a different type of drama but I think they’d be great to talk it out with each other with. I still want to see a moment like this between JJ and Sarah too, but JJ and Kie won’t open up to anyone about it like they would each other I think.

ive been cleaning out a bunch of files on my comp and google drive and i found a plot beat summary of static sound i typed out awhile back. spoilers, obviously, if you care about that, which you shouldn't, because as I've said from the beginning this was never about the plot so much as just screwing around with my characters. I only edited the bigger points so some of the rest might be outdated but close enough. here you go.

SIDE A:

-amaranth takes off to nk's domain to fight in gladiator matches, sees sarah's biotech w/ the same 'royal crest' mark she has and is like "hey where the fuck did you get that"

-oridar/verah are like "theres just this random kid [lily] out in the wastelands who makes 'em" so ama sets off to there to see what the deal is

-brief encounter with a toxinvein that takes out her ship but gets picked up by spurlocke, who as it happens was already going to see lily anyway

-it's like super obvious that lily's "the lost queen" from 700 years ago so amaranth calls her dad like "holy shit guess who i found"

-ezkiel hears this and freaks the fuck out because they thought they were DONE with that job and the whole shtick of the old rulers, and hightails it the fuck over there to end it for real

-meanwhile ama's like "ok well i can't take her home or do anything until i fix my ship" so they head Back to where ama's downed ship is

-ezekiel meets them on the way

-amaranth quickly finds a lot of [genuine] reason to be suspicious of ezekiel’s being there, and after calling her dad and getting some more info, her confronting ez quickly escalates to a fight where amaranth gets her ass fucking levelled and also inadvertently zapped with a toxinvein

-she's out cold, ez takes off with lily, spurlocke can't really do shit bc he's just some guy in all of this so he just takes to looking after ama for the moment

-flip back to ezekiel; tldr they end up exposition dumping about the razing and what they are and do as a chosen; most critically bringing up sth abt being a "regulator of cosmic/deity-level threats'' or something

-lily's like "oh ok cool you know that thing you zapped the loud girl with. maybe you should take a look at that, cuz that's kinda what we think that is."

-ezekiel decides an emerging sentient god virus is a more pressing issue than this one loose end from centuries ago and they head back to meet back up w/ the other two to investigate this [nobody Actually knows this is what toxinvein are at this point, but there's enough evidence to tip ez off that there's SOME kind of deity bullshit at play here]

-meanwhile Meanwhile after amaranth wakes up spurlocke gives her the 'hey so you're kinda fucked' rundown on what they know about toxinvein and what to expect now that she has one

-ez/lily get back a bit after this and one last lightning round exposition dump to get all the characters on the same page about who knows what

SIDE B

-crew discusses how to go about investigating more into this toxinvein thing

-lead 1: verah, who ama and ez both talked to, has a noticeable glitching problem Similar to toxinvein; lily and ez go see what that's about

-lead 2: ama got this Ominous Brain Message:tm: while she was asleep; not quite a dream but close enough to it that the fact of the ruler of this place being called "Nightmare King" is probably worth checking out

-there's some filler flavor type stuff here w/ ama and spur going to the city and meeting his band and her getting sensory overload and her having to go chill for a bit+catching up with magnolia but none of it is big plot important

-lily/ez get back from their questioning verah, which also pointed them to NK. they get ready to meet back up with the other two, but are intercepted by the Spy who attempts to drag ez back to NK himself for Other Reasons:tm:

-that doesnt work because ezekiel has the power of god and anime. anyway take a wild fucking guess where the whole crew heads now.

-tldr of the scene at NK's castle is he uses his powers to talk to the toxivein through ama's subconscious; the toxinvein drops the name "ibagreski", which is someone Io is all too familiar with

-squad goes on space trip with io to see ibagreski

-ibagreski's like ''oh lol that's Diode, guess he's finally leaking back into that domain since NK killed my Sentinel there. sucks for you guys but there's nothing that can be done, enjoy your slow apocalypse''

-obviously the protag crew doesnt want to do that but iba's like "unless you have [extremely specific and unlikely circumstances/resources/abilities] we literally can't do anything but wait it out"

-and ezekiel's like 'we do actually have that'

-ibagreski's like 'oh shit lol. yeah you guys can try to defeat Diode yourselves then i guess'

-this requires going back to pangea and summoning raathe, so they do that and then take it back to nk's domain and have it host the rest of diode's power

-big cool anime final battle n they kill the diode/raathe/amalgamated toxivein abomination

-send that whole mess to space hell so diode can't come back again again

-yeehaw

Postgame funsies which I have no clue if I'll ever actually include:

-ezekiel “actually in hindsight i don't know why i'm still tethering myself to this planet i have nothing but bad memories of. i'm fucking immortal and have god powers i'm going to fucking go off and explore space and find something good. also you guys sort of know about the whole genocide thing now so i im assuming you don't really want me around anyway and i dont want to deal with whatever you were planning to do to me. bye.”

-amaranth already had a pretty set life before this so it just goes back to business as usual, save for the newly-installed life support system and mild fucked up glitch powers+adjusting to that. she and magnolia get married at some point probably.

-spurlocke, now having the toxinvein biz sorted out and the favor of a god to call upon [and a bit of help from ezekiel], finally goes back to his homeworld to incite his revolution and overthrow its corrupt state to save what’s left it

-lily actually fucks off to space with ezekiel, at least for the first little while. she'd love to go around seeing/studying more whack phenomenon like toxinvein, and she can also act as something of an...emotional guide to ezekiel, since they aren't nearly as open to experiencing new weird shit as she is.

#this thing doesnt have chapters bc i cba to do formatting decently at all. side a side b babey we are Forcing that music gimmick #i have the intro in a separate document from the rest of the script too... maybe when i get to touching that up i'll post it as well #that ones like ACTUALLY outdated though. as in i changed a lot of lore since writing this outdated #in talking abt kiu today i realized what im shooting for here is really the same style of plot here as there #as in utterly fuckin meaningless and nothing but its still a ton of fun bc the characters are so good

Uuuuuuugggggghhhhhhhh complaining abt work and surgery under the cut, nothing new

TW for SI

My parents mentioned me starting back at work next week and it immediately put me in a horrible mood. I know i basically "have to" bc another sushi chef is gone for vacation for a week but i have this new weird pain in my surgery leg that is basically preventing me from walking without crutches. Idk how I'm supposed to do an 8 hr shift of standing and walking the whole time and having to walk around even more because our normal prep fridge is out of order. For the most part areas are wide enough for a crutch but it would be a huge pain to try to do all of that with one. Standing for that long sucks for swelling and some soreness but I did that when I first injured my knee. Wasn't fun at all but it's doable.

The stress from this family business makes me hate my life and has been one of the biggest contributing factors in my suicidal ideation for the past 2 years. The pandemic ruined everything for my family and I feel like I have no choice but to be here and help, because my not being here would make things worse, so it would partially feel like my fault. My parents deserve so much more for how hard they've worked their whole lives and I want to help them but it's killing me (and them too). I was so burnt out and stressed and suicidal right before my surgery 11 weeks ago that the surgery and recovery, while difficult, painful, and a genuine disability, have been preferable compared to work. I also say this knowing full well I have had the money, resources, and people to care for me in this time that it has been a relatively easy experience.

While I have clearly still been depressed in this recovery period, I have consistently been eating healthier and more regularly, doing my physical therapy exercises daily in accordance w pain, making some new social connections, and keeping up w my medication and dental hygiene (which is usually one of the first things to go for me). Unfortunately my sleep is very fucked in terms of the window, but I am getting 8 hours..... but yeah I just feel the most regulated in awhile; none of this was happening consistently for months before the surgery. The last month before surgery I was barely scraping by, over-sleeping and rolling out of bed 30 min before I had to drive to work, then coming home after dinner and going right to bed. I'm literally starting to weep thinking about the possibility of that happening again and how it feels like going back to work only guarantees that.

Even outside of surgery I depend on my parents for a lot of things-- housing, car, really good health insurance thru the restaurant which I desperately need for all my therapy and psych as I try to find something that will help my bipolar and make sure I can function. I feel so incompetent at 28 and I know so many of you are on your own and have gotten through or are constantly going through it but I'm so scared of that. I feel like I can't survive on my own, like the only way I could is w massive amounts of help. This recovery process has cemented the idea in my head that my mental illness is a legitimate disability and yet it's not debilitating enough, and even if it was I wouldn't get any help.

I wish we could win the lottery lol. I would love that. I wish everyone's needs were taken care of. Fuck.
