The hidden creator
I had a plot bunny idea
TW: usual cult stuff, hints of yandere
-gn reader (I tried making it gender-neutral if there is a comment that is off please tell me and I will fix it)
EDIT: 14/11/2023 (changed some wording and other stuff nothing major)
Creator Reader Pov:
-You were just a regular person who one day woke up in Teyvat out of all places
-You realized you still had all your game features and figured it was one of the perks of being isekaied like in other isekai stories
-The whole thing is weird and why you were here, you had no idea
-After the novelty wears off you take some time mourning the loss of your previous life and the people you knew
-After that you try to get a semblance of a normal life like getting a job and trying to be independent
-Despite having a game system you do not want to be an adventurer or learn how to fight it's not for you
-You were previously an average civilian and raised as one it would be hard to become a fighter now
-Instead you gravitated towards creating things, you found an apprentice position in a clockwork shop in Fontaine
-It is fun and you get to tinker with gears and clocks, learning how various machines work and how to create your own items
-overall you are content
-Except weird people occasionally come by the shop you work at including the Iudex of Fontaine which had both you and the shopkeeper sweating the first few times
-Yet the man who insisted you call him by his name Neuvilette is really polite and nice to talk to, soon you warmed up to him
-You could not help the feeling as if you knew him from before, as if you forgot something, you were unusually fond of him.
-Your other "clients" if you could call them that were more intimidating, you had no idea what they were doing in this shop and it scared you
-The Fatui Harbringers occasionally stopped by the shop to buy a trinket or two before leaving, it honestly scared you and the thaught of running away to another nation had crossed your mind once or twice yet you liked your job and your boss and you made some good friends here so it was hard to leave
-Overall you were doing okay
-Except it seems the people here almost in a cult-like manner worship a creator that was never in the game lore
-It is said they resided in Celestia and not many people actually got to see them, not that it mattered for a nobody like you
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tsaritsa Pov:
-The Tsaritsa knew their so called creator was fake
-She knew she had to get rid of the fake creator as they and Celestia had caused irreparable damage
-Even if she had to stain her hands
-One day it happened something shifted in the earth, air, water- no the whole of Teyvat
-It happened so softly like a small snowflake landing on the ground
-She was hypnotized as if a siren was beckoning her she found you.
-You were their true creator
-You were wearing apprenticeship clothes tinkering with something in your hands and deeply concentrated
-She wondered if that is how you created the universe with careful and steady hands guiding and shaping it to your will.
-She wanted to take you away from this. . . small shop, yet she knew begrudgingly you were safe here, if anyone were to find out a sliver of your existence. . .
-You were safer hidden among mortals
-It left a bitter taste in her mouth
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Neuvilette Pov
-It just happened one day, out of the blue, he could feel it in the shift of the waters
-The way Furina shifted and turned her head unable to sit still confirmed he was not the only one feeling this
-Something happened and he had no idea what exactly happened
-There was this familiar presence this comforting feeling, ancient old instincts waking up
-He followed it without thought until he came upon an in inconspicuous clockwork shop
-He was confused but did not hesitate to step inside
-Then he saw you and everything clicked
-It was you his creator his universe his everything
-You were back
-It seems in this incarnation you were just a human
-That was fine he was oaky with that as long as you were here
-His heart ached seeing you
-He wanted to hug and ask you to never leave again to always stay by his side, for you to comfort him after what had happened and console him
-He should take you way somewhere safer somewhere better not here-
-But weren't you safer hiding among mortals, a part of his mind whispered, no one would suspect you being here even the fake (he cursed them) would not think of finding you here, if he brought you back with him it would create more attention on you
-Attention that would cause you trouble
-He left with defeat on his steps
-It was later he would met the Tsaritsa and a deal was struck
-All for your sake

I saw your post and I think to ask you for a Yandere! Wild but Imagine this, isekai! Reader doesn't know anything about him or his game, is only a confused person who doesn't know how he got to this place.
Anyway, thanks for read this and sorry for my bad English, My first lenguaje is spanish and I'm not very sure for my English.

Tw: Yandere, obsessive, mentions of murder
𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝
Long past were the days Link would protect anyone but himself. In the aftermath of the calamity, villagers were weary of those who traversed the land and of good reason. Many who did were simply were insane with the thought of leaving their inconsequential little hamlet to see the shattered world. Hatred for fellow man ran rampant, but the crazed look in the eyes of few who’ve lost themselves to Hyrule, Link couldn’t blame people’s cautiousness. Besides, it simply wasn’t within in his best interest being a protector anymore. There wasn’t much to really speak about the issue— Zelda probably would have if she were here, but she wasn’t, so blissful silence stood. He held no love in his heart for the people of Hyrule, much as they had none for him. They turned their backs on him, and so he does similarly to them. But you… you weren’t of Hyrule. So it was only natural to him that you’d be the exception.
Sent to him by strings of blue light, you awoke confused at first. You knew nothing of the lands nor people he spoke of, and eventually reached the conclusion that, you too were out of place in the world that now was. He couldn’t simply leave you at Hateno —they were cautious to accept him, they would never accept you as you are— so, instead, he just had to keep you. He played knight once before, so had hard could it truly be. So while you attuned yourself to your reality —while still ripping away for a chance back home, one he simply couldn’t permit— all he had to do was kill what turned their blades on you. It was rhythmic and mindless. But, as it turns out, He found it oddly more enjoyable to play knight when there was someone to kiss his wounds better after busting ass so you’d be safe. In reality it was you that made it worthwhile, not the work. You’d brush his hair and braid it so it wouldn’t mat, whispering stories of your home. Stories that much resembled myths with how far they were out of his hands. Stories you spoke through tight lips as he smiled. Stories that filled his head long after you stopped speaking. He’s never been much keen on people —or were they never keen on him?— and yet he couldn’t grapple if it was normal to feel this much over your friends.
His devotion to you was rooted deep within him, stiff and unwavering. It wound through his battered heart, patching it whole. As time passed and the roots grew deeper and deeper, lodging themselves more and more, he found his line of work expand. Monsters caused a threat, sure, but that begs the question— what really is a monster? That man who was following you? No way to tell what was going through his head. But it was better you’d be safe rather than him being alive. The mean shopkeep, patronising you for not fitting into a tunic? She’d ought to be nicer now she has no tongue. Homeless man lunging at your ankle? Can’t beg if he has no hands. All in the matter of keeping you safe. Hyrule was a very, very dangerous place. But you were lucky to have the Hero at your bidding. He waited on your call, on your order. Especially since you always made it worth it in ways of food and whatnot. He’d have given you his heart unseasoned if it meant you’d give him a kiss on the cheek. He’d forge the ring if it’d mean you’d marry him. He’d build a house where no man nor monster could find it so you’d live safe. He’d kill ganon a million times over so long as he could fall into your arms afterwards. You must understand how much he loves you. The time and care he’s put in, the blood he’s spilt in your name, he loves you. So much. Too much. Too much to let you go home to your stories. Your home is with him now.

I updated my Zora lineup from 2021 with the new TotK characters (and added the AoC guys too while I was at it).
To my knowledge these are all the named NPCs across the three games who use the generic adult male Zora model. I liked the idea of giving them more personality and trying to figure out unique features, all while staying faithful to the model (so no accessories, body modification etc).
female NPCs | elders and kids | unique characters
More details on each character (all 14) under the cut:
Ahrt Secro and Ettu are the merchants that exist only as character portraits, but I decided to count them as individual NPCs regardless. I made an exception in "no accessories" rule for Ahrt Secro here, because of his... unconventional name (and him living in Goponga instead of the Domain); he's justified in not following their fashion standards. Ettu's only character trait iirc is that he dislikes plants. Which make up most of his stock. Rip.
Kayden is the oldest non-elder Zora guy (140ish?), calm, responsible, etc. He's an another accessory exception, with the little belt attachment. He's married and it's the "zora armor" he got from Kodah. I like to imagine that non-royal Zora women also propose with "armor", just bit more budget friendly - a single accessory or a piece of jewelry.
Capelo has basically no personality, his only few lines point to him being older and somewhat responsible. So I put him here and made him... idk, look big and serious.
Bazz! He's perfectly average when it comes to height and looks, but visibly more buff than most Zora guys. Also on the older side.
Rivan's whole thing is being Very Tall and Very Pretty. In my canon he's basically the most handsome guy in the Domain, with his long fins, smooth features and warm brown colored scales.
Ledo is like, the most average guy you've ever seen. He looks younger than he is but has no special features otherwise. Surprisingly level headed. Not very fit (for Zora standards).
Tie is another one of the new undercharacterized TotK guards, his only thing being that he complains about being out of shape. I think I like his design the least, but come on, I had nothing to work with here.
Numien, the only new guy who actually had more than two lines, all of them making him the most annoying prick in my eyes. He's just... too enthusiastic and eager to praise his superiors. I like to imagine Bazz despises him for being such a kissass (Bazz is canonically pretty judgemental) but can't do much about it. The guy is competent enough to be put in charge of the Lookout Landing squad after all. Anyway, I did my best to make him look at least a bit unhinged.
Fronk, the only man in the domain whose eyebags could compete with Bazz's, courtesy of his airhead wife Mei. He's also wearing the "zora armor" she gave him.
Resco wins the prize for least characterization. His only single trait is that he admires Gaddison. That's it. So I made him try to emulate her energy in his lineup pose.
Cleff, the shopkeeper with crab obsession. One of the prettier younger guys, although the crab thing is not working in his favor. The last one of fully adult guys in the lineup (around 90ish).
Gruve is, amusingly, the one sole unemployed Zora guy. His occupation is therefore officially, A Problem. He's very much the tall lanky teenager type.
And Tottika, another tall lanky teenager (70ish), but this time with a job. It's not canon, but he's commonly considered a twin brother of Torfeau and I quite like this idea. He's not the smartest but tries his best.
That's it, thanks for reading if you did! Next up are the ladies, which I have sketched out but not colored yet. Also I'm still pondering if I want to do elders and kids, just for the sake of having all the Zora properly catalogued...

Wrong Dimension
In his attempts to return to his preferred dimension, Magolor stumbles upon a world not so dissimilar from the one he was stuck in. Meeting a man who is cramping on his style.
I loved doing this piece for the colours. It is very purple and acidic green, and it fits Lorule. Since this land has been healing, the grass is not yellow anymore but is still very bright and dusk-like. The background came out really nice.
For anyone who does not know who Ravio is: he and Magolor are pretty similar down to their in-game roles and swarmy business manners. Though Ravio has far more good intentions, he is just sneaky about how he solves his problems. (And a bit of a coward, though he found his own brand of courage in ALBW)
I imagine if Magolor and Ravio met on neutral terms, they would get along like a house on fire. Although once Ravio catches a whiff of Magolor's more shady side, he will probably nope out of there as soon as possible. An interaction between these two before Magolor has been reformed (or as reformed as he is now current day) would certainly be interesting to see.
Choosing Shopkeeper Magolor for this piece was not smart of me with the abundant nature of this piece. But since Magolor has not had a chance to get his old duds back, it would not make sense if he were in his regular blue garb. I also like Shopkeeper Magolor, even if Kirby Clash has made me want to drop-kick him so many times. Idk, I just really like the green, cream and brown of his colour palette.

I’ve come up with a cotl au, basically going hard core into the cosmic horror genre. It’s the modern day future of the game, no more cults, but people do worship a weird general conglomerate of the game’s past religions twisted up by time.
Narinder is a mortal cat who doesn’t have a lot of friends, most of his social circle is made up of his foster siblings (the bishops) and he’s just trying to survive the capitalist grind, while dealing with insomnia and bad night terrors. One day he comes across a strange bookshop built into a lighthouse, and the overly familiar shopkeep (Clauneck) offers him a strange tome embossed with a red eye (it reads similarly to the man in yellow book)
That’s the starting catalyst of everything going wrong. The more he tries to find out more about the book and the God of Death it describes, the more he’s haunted by dreams of a past he swears isn’t his, yet still feels so achingly familiar. Strange things keep happening, he’s starting to think he’s being stalked by a cult, and random strangers keep giving him cryptic warnings and advice. Not to mention the voice that keeps calling for him, asking him to return to their side.
Basically he starts losing his mind like a typical cosmic horror protag while trying to figure out the mysteries of this book and the past it speaks of, with the addition of being courted by a cosmic horror death god in his dreams that he’s kind of falling for. His siblings are worried, his few friends are worried, but don’t worry. Everything will be fine :) He just needs to go back home

I am unreasonably excited for this stardew fic im hearing about 👀 (also seb, my love- i always end up romancing him)
Thank you! In all my playthroughs (maybe five before this one, lol) I've never romanced anyone. This one (which inspired this story) I decided to romance and marry Seb :).
The story is gonna feature a lot of the game and setting as inspiration, but I'm going to edit the mechanics a bit so it's less contrived, and there are gonna be more supernatural elements and folks at play... :). And an affectionate, fwb situation with Elliott before the end-game Sebastian romance, just a heads up.
Since you were kind enough to reach out about it, here's a 1400 word WIP sneak peek of Rowan, my gruff, buff werewoof farmer:
(CW: standoffish, loner character with scars on his neck from a werewolf bite, passing mention of a werewolf attack at night that nearly killed him)
Tumblr media
This run-down, wild farm, with its endless tangle of fairytale brambles arcing around the roots of maple and oak trees, and its overgrown ponds full of frogs and flowering water weeds, was beyond perfect.
Of course, Rowan knew next to nothing about organic vegetable farming, but that was a problem for another day.
Mayor Lewis dithered on the top step a moment longer before taking his leave with Robin and heading back up the rutted path towards the town. Apparently Rowan had been taciturn enough to drive the chatty old man away, and something about him had evidently unnerved Robin a little. Maybe it was the mess of scars on his throat. He didn’t much care. If it meant they left him alone, so much the better. He wasn’t sure that anyone but Robin in her off-road pickup could make it comfortably along the winding drive to the farm anyway, and it was a miracle that the old man hadn’t toppled into a pothole or a ditch on his way over.
Rowan watched them leave together, deliberately ignoring their nattering gossip about him, which carried easily enough on the spring air to his sharp ears, and he felt something new prickle down his spine. It wasn’t even close to the full moon — he’d made damned sure of that before booking his one-way ticket to the sleepy little valley — but something about this place set the wolf in him prowling. He realised with a jolt that his wolf liked this new territory, with its fresh air and cacophonous birdsong. Where he’d been fractious and aggressive in the city, prone to lashing out when he felt the least bit cornered or trapped, now his wolf was practically bounding on the spot to explore his new territory and claim it as his own, and Rowan recoiled from the idea.
“I am not an animal,” he snarled at himself.
He thought that after bearing the curse for a year, he should have been far more accustomed to the feeling of there being a whole new part of himself inside his own head, or in his heart. And yet, noticing that the way he was feeling was largely because of the wolf, and not his human side, still freaked him the fuck out.
He turned back to the front door of the tumbledown cabin where his grandfather had lived until he’d had to go into care five years earlier, and immediately put his boot through the rotten boards of the veranda with a curse and another snarl. A small family of mice skittered away beneath the house, their pungent smell rising through the new hole to his sensitive nose, and he sighed. “Still not alone, even out here.”
Although the moon was only halfway to full, and against his better judgement, Rowan did let the shift sweep over him a few nights later, and as he sloughed off the complex trappings of his human life and sank his claws delightfully into the velvet-soft dirt, he patrolled the perimeter of the farm where his human self had spent his first week in Stardew Valley clearing weeds and setting up his first organic vegetable beds.
His wolf didn’t think about the uppity shopkeeper in the general store or the awkward blacksmith who’d smelled of a nauseous cocktail of discomfort, anxiety and axle grease, or the harried-looking man in a tweed jacket who’d smelled of coffee and antiseptic. His wolf lowered its head to the ground and inhaled the scents of rabbit and squirrel. It couldn’t decide if it was relieved or saddened to find no trace of wolves — shifter or otherwise — in the area, but seemed to settle for relieved as he slunk like a deeper shred of shadow from the porch of the farmhouse and bounded off into the dark to explore the place with the new, golden eyes of a wolf in place of the slightly blurry, hazel eyes of a human.
A rockfall in the cliffs behind the wreckage of the greenhouse had exposed a damp cave some years ago, though it smelled of bat guano and little else to interest a wolf. He let it be. Trotting eagerly on, the wolf relished the decadent flex and stretch of its powerful muscles, and the bliss of being able to shift whenever the fancy took him was enough to make him tilt his head to the sky and howl his ecstasy at the silent stars.
Rowan knew that being bitten and turned, and dumped unknowingly into the secret world of the supernatural, had taken its toll on him.
His sanity had been right on the ragged edge when he’d come across that forgotten letter from his grandfather in a desk drawer. After a year of trying to hold the remnants of his miserable life in the city together, of slinking down into an old storm drain on the edge of an abandoned industrial estate every full moon, to cage and contain his frustrated, furious wolf, Rowan had known he had to get out of the city. Permanently. It was messing with his wolf and he was losing more of his awareness to it with each passing full moon. He’d also started zoning out at his desk at work and coming-to with claws out and the wolf prowling right beneath his yellow-eyed facade of calm, even halfway through the cycle. The constant clacking of keyboards, the shrill, metallic ringing of office telephones, and the stink of leftover lunches from the cubicle next door to his was going to make him snap. Violently.
Part problem and part gift, his wolf existed purely in the ‘now’. There was no painful past; no human lying abandoned and bleeding and irrevocably changed on the rain-soaked tarmac of a grotty bus station; no human who’d drifted out of touch with his one surviving family member; no bills overdue and no landlord to keep happy. There was only the scent of moss and emerging spring grass and last year’s fallen pine cones, and the echo of a fox’s passing trail across the land which was now his territory.
Rowan’s wolf followed its nose down to the lower pond and lapped luxuriantly at the rich, cool water. His ears drew back and another thrill of delight ran down the length of his body as the sweet, wholesome taste of the water exploded across his tongue; he could detect none of the pollution and chemicals of the city water, just fresh spring that bubbled up from the depths of the earth, carrying with it the minerals and magic of the place.
Yes, this place had magic in abundance.
His grandfather had married a witch, so magic had been in Rowan’s blood already before he’d been mutilated by a lone werewolf at three in the morning in a filthy, city bus station. Perhaps that had been why a bite that messy had taken when it would have killed most people. He prayed he never met his monstrous sire, because he knew he’d rip his fucking head off for ruining his life and turning him into a slathering, near-mindless monster once a month. It was probably only by sheer, dumb luck that he hadn’t been killed by hunters, or killed someone himself by accident, and it had only been by the grace and patience of a blue-haired witch named Mercury that he’d even known what was happening to him in the first place. He shuddered to think where he’d have been without her.
A figure moved in the darkness at the edge of the trees on the southern-most reaches of his property and his lips drew back into a snarl.
“Easy, Rowan,” came a resonant, bass voice, and he froze, tilting his head, ears pricked. He recognised that voice, but couldn’t place it. For answer, he just growled a warning. “Easy,” came the voice a second time. “Rowan MacTavish, I am not here to hurt you. It is I, Rasmodius.”
At the sound of his full name on the still night air, Rowan’s whole body shivered, but the wolf let go of his mind a little. Thought came to him just a little easier. Rasmodius. That was the name of the wizard in the tower. Rowan blinked his golden eyes and sat back on his haunches.
“May I approach?”
He whined and ended the sound in a soft sneeze. Close enough to a petulant ‘fine’, he supposed.

What about this NSFW one?
When Rimuru is fingering Mitsuri Reader, After the summer festival at tempest federation ended, now as Mitsuri Reader was nervous there and she could ask Rimuru a favor in private, as this time Rimuru realizes his lover becomes needy.
I’m using the older looking Rimuru for this HC.
-It started with an undercover mission in one of the human cities, as there was a looming threat of war, and Rimuru wanted to investigate things, but he needed to not bring attention to himself.
-He couldn’t bring any of the monsters and he took his older humanoid form, making him look like a young man, and he decided to bring you, as the city was popular for couples, and the two of you could investigate without drawing too much attention.
-As it turned out, the threats of war were just some greedy nobles wanting the wealth in the Forest of Jura, and the king of this kingdom had assured everyone there would be no war and if anyone was to try, there would be repercussions.
-Since that was out of the way, you and your husband decided to enjoy the summer harvest festival in the kingdom, a massive party leading into the night with fireworks, food, games, it was like a festival back in Japan and you two were happy to have some alone time.
-You both enjoyed the food, walking around and shopping, and just having fun, but as night fell, you began to see why this city was popular with couples.
-You were rather shy, seeing people all over dancing proactively with each other, deep kissing, sharing food, sitting on laps, everyone was very open with their affections.
-A stall owner called you both over, grinning at you, “First time at the summer festival I’m guessing?” Rimuru was polite, doing all the talking as the shop owner could tell who wasn’t a local as they were usually more reserved with PDA than the locals before the shopkeeper gave you both some candied strawberries, telling you both to have fun.
-You enjoyed the treat, as did Rimuru, who finished his more quickly than you did and with the last strawberry, a bit of juice leaked at the corner of your mouth, and Rimuru was quick to lean over and lick it up, making you flush.
-He grinned, seeing you so shy, as you continued to go around, seeing more and more risqué displays of public affection, even Rimuru was shocked.
-You grabbed his hand, beginning to feel hot and bothered, “Rimuru~” he looked down at you and he could see you fidgeting lightly, looking around a bit shyly.
-Raphael then spoke up, *Alert: She is wanting to mate with you.* Rimuru then yelled in his head, ‘I can see that!!’
-He grinned, feeling mischievous as his arm went around your shoulders, holding you close, making you squeak softly before you felt one of his fingers melting into his slime body, and the slime slipped under your dress by your arm.
-You felt so naughty but also so hot, being in public, whispering, “Rimuru- wait- we’re in public!” he grinned and you felt the slime slipping across your nipples, splitting into more tendrils, but on the outside you looked completely normal.
-You whimpered, biting your lip as Rimuru grinned, feeling sadistic, “If you can hold it together until we get back to the hotel, I’ll give you a reward.” A soft squeak escaped your lips as the tendrils went lower, slipping into your panties, becoming thicker as he grinned, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead, “Already this wet, I’ve barely touched you~”
-You bit your lip to keep from moaning as Rimuru kept you walking as two of the thick tendrils slipped into your weeping hole, immediately beginning to move, rubbing you all over while a third circled your clit before it almost felt like a mouth, sucking and pulling on it.
-Everyone was enjoying the festival around you, some people already half naked in the celebration, so they were paying no mind to you, but to Rimuru, this was so hot, seeing you trying not to fall apart, trying to hide that he wasn’t ravishing you already.
-By the time you made it to the hotel your legs felt like jelly, as he was overstimulating you, but denying your release, as he could feel when you just right there, then he would stop, and you were to the point of almost crying.
-Rimuru picked you up, carrying you up the stairs and while to others it looked sweet, more tendrils appeared from his fingers, stretching all over your body, petting and squeezing as he resumed his ministrations.
-Once in the room Rimuru used a spell to make the room sound proof and you immediately started shamelessly begging, “Please- please I want- Rimuru please!” your clothes were quickly torn off and Rimuru felt his whole body shake, seeing your body being ravaged by his slime tendrils.
-They moved, pinning your arms up above your head and pinning your legs down and open and he kneeled at the edge of the bed, sticking his tongue out which quickly morphed into a thick slime tentacle, “I promised you a reward, so enjoy~”

Once a month, the academy closes during the week to give the teachers a day to get organized. It’s probably nice for the teachers, but you really don’t care. It’s a day that you don’t have to worry about your studies too much. Instead of being stuck at home alone–where, inevitably, you would have been tempted to work on future lectures and assignments–you’ve been dragged out into town by your partner in crime.
You’ve taken over a bench near one of the bars in town. It’s closed, so the area isn’t particularly busy, which means that while there are people going about their days, they aren’t particularly bothered by a pair of teenagers sprawled out on a bench. You’re reading, your elbow on the arm rest, curled fist supporting your cheek, datapad balanced in your lap. Yoongi sits beside you, his leg tucked up into his body, his focus on the people going about their business around you.
He paws at your knee gently, trying to get your attention without making a big deal of it. When you finally look up from your datapad and to him, he nods in the direction of two men near a door to one of the shops. It’s a speeder parts store, based on the sign above the window.
“Didn’t pay his bill,” Yoongi whispers, scooting closer so that he’s practically right up against you.
He’s been doing this since you were little, watching people go about their days and making stories up about them. When you were six, the stories were much more fantastical, full of pirates and long lost princesses and intrigue and fancy. Now, you’ve grown up–almost ready to graduate from the academy and move on to work in the factory–and things are much more mundane. Yoongi’s made-up stories focus more on daily chores, personal squabbles, budding romance. They’re still fun, though, so when he begins this one, you hum and nod along.
“It must have been a while. See how red parts guy’s face is?” Sure enough, the shopkeeper’s face is as red as it would be if he’d been out in the wind in the middle of winter. He crosses his arms, and you both laugh.
The other man shouts something you can’t quite make out. He throws his arms out to his side and stomps his foot a little. Clearly, he’s just as angry.
“He doesn’t like being called a thief,” Yoongi explains. “And I think he might not have gotten his bill.”
“Oh that sucks.” You chuckle. “Can’t really pay your bill if you don’t have one.”
The shopkeeper explodes in a fit of rage, poking the other man in the chest. They yell at each other until finally, they disappear into the store. You can still hear their muffled yelling as the door closes behind them.
“Going to check the records,” Yoongi explains. His shoulders shake with a laugh, and he’s so close that it jostles you a little.
For a while, he goes quiet, and you go back to your datapad. He leans against you a little as you sit there, pulls his leg up to his chest and watches the people of Fest go about their day. You tune almost all of it out, your book on the history of comms technology holding your attention.
That is, until a hand is shaking your knee, asking for your attention once again.

You wake up in the snow. Your entire body hurts in so many ways, and it’s nearly impossible for you to stand up. Your veins hurt, you’re covered in bruises–on your arm, yes, but your eyes feel slightly swollen and there’s an ache in your abdomen that you barely remember the cause of but know that it will be a problem for a long time–and you’re fairly certain that you have at least a few broken bones, particularly your ribs.
You almost don’t even notice that it’s freezing, you’re so warm from your body’s reaction to the injuries. But it is cold and windy, and you should get somewhere safe as quickly as possible.
Looking around, you’re in the same area you had been. The Empire’s temporary buildings are gone, Grafner and his troopers are gone, the ship you had followed to get you into this mess is gone. It’s weird. Everything’s just… gone. But you don’t have time to dwell on it. A strong gust of wind nearly knocks you over. You orient yourself in the direction of the Talzi village and set off.
It’s a challenge, dragging yourself through the snow like that. Thankfully, the ground is mostly flat, with only a small hill here or there that’s barely a bump. But the snow is deep, and you’re so tired. You stumble and fall, crumpling onto the icy ground. For a moment, you lie there, contemplating your next moves, but eventually, you stand and manage to brush yourself off.
There’s no way you could make it all the way to the Talz village like this. But maybe you could at least make it to the rocky outcroppings before the sun sets fully.
Fuck, it’s cold.
You manage to find a place to settle in where you’re surrounded on three sides by the rocks. At least now you don’t have to worry about the wind. It’s a decently sized crevasse, big enough for you to lay down in and some extra. The snow has piled up from the occasional gust of wind–it’s so high that it could come up above your knees in some places near the walls–but you feel safe enough for the moment, so you let your mind shift from finding shelter to finding help.
The Talz are out of the question. Without Tee, you can’t communicate with them, and there’s no way you could signal to them, anyway. That just leaves…
You pull the commlink out of your pocket. It’s small, barely wider than two of your fingers, and Grafner and his trooper goons had broken the range extender when they’d brought you in. It’s a long shot, but maybe you can at least get it to connect to the long-range comms setup you have in the village.
It hurts to sit down, your skin feels like it’s on fire as you slide down the rocky wall, your muscles pulling and flexing as you move. You let out a hiss of pain as you unceremoniously plop the last few meters to the ground. This had better work, because you’re not entirely sure that you’ll be able to stand up again on your own.
You fiddle a bit with the communicator, pressing buttons and, when that doesn’t work, opening up the small panel on the side to look at the insides. Nothing seems to be wrong with it, so you try everything, using some snow to clean off one of the wire ports, blowing on the internals to try to dislodge any dust or debris that might be interfering with function. You even smack it against the heel of your hand a couple times, though you immediately regret the action because pain shoots up both of your arms.
You’re almost ready to give up when it finally lights up, signaling that it has made a stable enough connection to your gear back in the village. You breathe a sigh of relief and relax for just a moment. Unfortunately, that may have been the easy part.
Now you actually have to try to send a message.
The obvious solution is to try to call to one of the other rebels stationed across Orto Plutonia. They’re the closest, and would be familiar with the terrain enough that they could probably find you fairly easily. The only problem is that you haven’t memorized any of their frequencies. They’re saved in a file on your datapad, which is sitting back in the village on one of the storage crates in your hut.
You could try one of the general frequencies and hope that a rebellion ship was in one of the nearby star systems. But, of course, there’s no guarantee that it would be a rebel ship that picks up your distress call.
There’s a third option, but it’s just as far-fetched and unlikely to work. Yet as the minutes passed and the adrenaline from waking up free slowly wears off, you kind of favor this choice. It’s a longshot, but at this point, so is your survival at all. The sun is setting quickly and the wind is picking up. It won’t be long before the temperatures dip far below freezing.
Grafner had kept your coat.
So really, what’s the difference? You could freeze to death waiting for someone to come rescue you, or you could freeze to death waiting for someone to come rescue you knowing that you did everything you could to make things right. You know the frequency by heart. It would be the same as when you were kids. All you have to do is dial it in on your communicator and hope.
Maybe he’s listening.

Yoongi lays in his bunk, staring at the bunk above. It’s Namjoon’s, and thankfully, the man barely sleeps, because when he does, it’s like the whole ship is exploding. It’s really not even that late, Yoongi’s just being a pouty bitch. And because he recognizes that he’s being a pouty bitch, he’s allowing himself to wallow a bit.
He doesn’t like feeling like he’s being scolded.
And what the fuck does Seokjin know, anyway? The older man thinks that he’s being helpful, but really, he’s kind of just being a know-it-all. He feels for Seokjin, he does. It would really fucking suck to lose your entire home planet in an instant. Yoongi can’t imagine what he’d do.
Except he kind of can. His brother is dead, his father jailed, all because of the Empire’s greed. His comrades in arms–his friends–are all dead. You’re off who knows where doing who knows what because he can’t control his fucking emotions. So sure, Yoongi hasn’t lost his entire planet, but he’s come pretty close to losing his entire world.
He should have apologized when he had the chance. Back on Hoth, before you’d left, he’d wanted to apologize. That’s why he’d even come to the hangar bay that day. He should have just sucked it up and apologized, talked about it with you like a rational person. But no, he had to fly off the handle–like he always seems to do nowadays–and make you feel like an asshole. And now, he might never get the chance again.
Maybe Seokjin was right.
Yoongi pulls the pillow from under his head and buries his face into it. Maybe if he concentrates hard enough, the cot will open up and swallow him whole. It would probably be a better fate than whatever this is.
His commlink trills, an incoming message. But he ignores it. More than likely, it’s not urgent. His comms are tuned to his personal frequency. Well, it’s not his personal frequency, but it’s one he’s been using since he was a kid, and it’s not like he’s the one the rebellion will contact if they need something. They’ll contact Namjoon. Or Admiral Una, the Mon Calamari in command of the cruiser.
Two minutes later, it beeps again. And then again, two minutes after that. Yoongi groans and stands, ready to throw the stupid thing out of the airlock, but he presses the button to receive the message anyway. Whatever it is, it had better be good.
“Yoongi?” It’s crackly and staticy, but he can make your voice out, clear as day among the white noise. “It’s me. I…” The static cuts off your next few words. It must be a bad connection. But then you fade back in. “...die tonight and I just…” Again static cuts you off. “...be my best friend. Don’t…. hard on yourself, okay? I…” There is no static, no crackles, nothing to cut you off except your own thoughts. “I’m sorry. For everything.”
The light on his commlink goes out. Yoongi squeezes the device so hard, he’s pretty sure it might snap in half. But it doesn’t. Instead, it trills again. Another incoming message. Quickly, he plays it.
“Yoongi?” The same crackles and static. “It’s me. I…” You must have put the message on loop.
He runs out of his quarters, doesn’t even bother to put on shoes or change out of his sleep clothes. Just bolts for the door to find Namjoon.
He’s in the cruiser’s officer’s lounge with Seokjin. They’re talking quietly among themselves, sipping on short glasses of amber liquid. Both men look up, shocked, when Yoongi bolts in.
“You look like you’re about to have a heart attack,” Namjoon notes, gesturing to an empty seat at their table.
“Or like you’ve seen a ghost,” Seokjin adds, shoulders shaking with a laugh.
Yoongi shakes his head. “We have to go. We have to go now.” Namjoon raises an eyebrow, and Yoongi just slaps his commlink onto the table, pressing play on the repeated message.
He’s never seen Namjoon or Jin move that fast.
Tumblr media
Yoongi can’t concentrate. Namjoon has been barking orders both in the comms and to him and Seokjin for a good while now, but he can’t bring himself to listen. As soon as they took off in the light freighter, his brain had entered a tunnel, his focus solely on getting planetside and finding you. He’d heard something vague about contacting others on the planet and something about a translator, but it had all been background noise.
He doesn’t think he’s been this anxious, this nervous in six years–since he’d found out you’d left Fest without a word. There’s enough adrenaline coursing through his veins to keep him going for days. His stomach is in knots.
This is my fault. It repeats in his mind like a mantra. We wouldn’t be here if I hadn't been such an ass. She was trying to escape from me.
First chance he gets, he’s going to talk to you. Like an adult. No yelling, no anger. Just… talking. Maybe he can patch things up. Or, at the very least just apologize.
You deserve that much.
“We’ll be landing in five minutes.” Namjoon’s voice from the cockpit cuts through Yoongi’s thoughts.
“I’m picking up two signals. One’s pretty strong. I’m assuming that’s her main unit in the village.” Seokjin is stationed at the ship’s comms rig. “The other is weaker. I can’t really get a handle on it.”
“Maybe her commlink?” Namjoon offers. He presses a button and flicks some switches on the control panel. Yoongi can feel the ship’s landing gear start to extend.
Seokjin hums. “Could be. Or… didn’t you say she had a droid?”
“Tee, yeah.” Yoongi nods, and crouches down to look at Seokjin’s monitor. Sure enough, there’s one big blip and one that’s smaller on the radar. There’s a small flicker, too, about a kilometer from the biggest blip. He taps the screen where the flicker is. “What’s that?”
“Dunno.” Seokjin squints and leans in to get a better look. “Could be interference.”
As they get closer to the planet’s surface, they watch the flicker get stronger. They touch down, and the ramp extends, and the flicker has become a full-blown blip.
One of the other reconnaissance officers stationed on the planet meets them at the edge of the village. Yoongi can’t help but notice that Namjoon parked the ship right beside what he presumes is your ship.
“Major Kim!” the officer says, saluting. “I tracked the major signal we picked up to a hut in this village. It’s a long-range communications and encryption system. I’m assuming it was the major’s?”
“Right.” Namjoon pulls a portable tracker out of his coat pocket. Yoongi can see the big signal from the long-range system right there near the center of the tracker. “Fan out. Seokjin, you and the captain go check the north sector. Try to find the source of that signal. Yoongi and I will sweep the southeast, check out that flickering signal we saw earlier.”
They separate, and once they’re out of the village, Namjoon hands Yoongi the tracker. “Something to focus on,” he says quietly.
The snowfields are eerily quiet. It’s mostly flat, and the winds whip across the frozen ground uninhibited. It’s bitter cold, but thankfully the sun is starting to rise. Seeing the conditions on Orto Plutonia, Yoongi’s losing heart by the moment. It hadn’t been long since your message had first come through, but in conditions like this, short though the nights were, hypothermia could set in quickly.
They make good time on the speeders, racing across the snow faster than they ever could on foot. The landscape changes as they move southeast. Rocks dot the field, growing in size and number, meeting up with cliff faces and tall outcroppings. But even with all the rocks, there’s almost no real cover–no caves that he can see, no real divots in the rockface.
They slow and park the speeders. It would be too dangerous to use them here with all the rocks.
“We’re close,” Yoongi notes, pushing a button on the tracker to fine-tune it. The display changes, zooms in more. Hopefully this could help them nail down an exact location. “That way.”
He points toward a flat area that looks stomped down. Something had been here. Something big. But he has no real way of knowing what it was, and it’s gone from his mind almost as soon as it had entered. His focus is on the tracker, turning this way and that, taking a couple steps in a direction just to see how the signal moves.
“Over here!” Namjoon’s shout draws his attention. The major has found a small outcropping, not very large but also not very small.
As Yoongi moves toward Namjoon’s discovery, the signal gets closer on the tracker.
One side of the outcropping is a craggy wall–rocks fall down from above every so often as the wind shifts. The whole thing is kind of like a cave without a roof, with three sides protected from the wind and blowing snow. It doesn’t go very far, and there’s no sign of life inside.
But that can’t be. The signal is coming from here. They’re literally right on top of it. Or maybe under it? No, there’s no way you would have been able to climb the rocky walls on your own. Yoongi walks this way and that, trying to triangulate a precise location for the signal. His foot comes into contact with something fairly solid. It’s nothing much, just a hard-packed band of snow near one of the walls.
Suddenly, he’s transported back 20 years. You’re children, playing in the snow on Fest, a rare day off from school due to the weather. The two of you have been playing all day, building snow forts and little huts. Your mother had been worried that the two of you would freeze playing outside all day, but his brother had said that–
“Snow is an insulator,” Yoongi whispers, mostly to himself.
He drops to his knees, starts to brush the looser snow from the packed mound. It’s not very big, but the more he digs, the more it looks intentional. “Give me a hand!” He doesn’t even need to yell, Namjoon’s right there in an instant, shoveling through the snow with his gloved hands.
Yoongi can feel the sting in his hands from the cold–his gloves do nothing when they’re damp–but he powers through it. He can live with a little bit of stinging in his fingertips. He brushes snow off something black, his hand making contact with a solid form. Namjoon steps away briefly, but Yoongi barely registers it. He continues to dig. His face is stinging now, too, and his vision gets blurry, but he’s able to uncover enough to get his arms under.
Namjoon helps him carry you to the speeders.

Did You Just Grab My Ass?
Tumblr media
Read on ao3 or below the line break I don't know man. New fandoms. Weird thoughts. Cowboy love remains. Haven't really fleshed out this OC too much yet (and still learning about this actual game) but if I hear about a backflip one more time and don't actually see a backflip, I may scream. Not as...detailed as I would usually like. But now my entire Youtube history is backflip videos.
Rating is because I may add something EVEN MORE SPICY to this. We'll see. Didn't edit this one very well, it was just supposed to be a cute oneshot anyone. If you enjoyed, please let me know! For those of you that don't know me, I'm Bean and I hate writing! But I do it all the time. If you like my work and want to support me, you can buy me a Ko-fi. Never required but ALWAYS appreciated!

The sun was starting to set, not quite to the point of the horizon yet but far enough down to start the shift in colors - purples, orange, yellow. It was a gorgeous evening. The breeze was soft and pleasant, and it carried the scents wildflowers through the air.
Sybl observed as Nai'o leaned back against the fence post and sighed, tilting his head back and closing his eyes. He looked tired, and Sybl couldn't blame him. She knew what it was like to spend the whole day working hard. Ever since she arrived in this place, she was constantly on the go. Working in her garden, chopping wood, making candles, weaving, washing, cooking. She had a feeling it was no different for Nai'o, although the responsibilities may have been different.
He was nice, and easy on the eyes. A little awkward, sure, but Sybl thought that was endearing. There was no denying his good looks. Tall and strong with broad shoulders and a chiseled jaw. There was no shortage of admirers at the village, she assumed. And he seemed kind, always willing to help. Sybl had seen him carry heavy sacks of flour over his shoulders for the shopkeeper, or chop a huge block of wood with only a few swings. It was admirable - and distracting.
As she stood watching him, a smile on her lips, her eyes roamed over his body and she imagined what he might look like without his shirt. Maybe one day, when the heat became too much, he would take it off. She could get a glimpse at the muscles hiding underneath. Maybe she would get more than just a glimpse, if she was lucky.
She cleared her throat and pushed a strand of her grey hair behind her ear.
"Do you want to see me do a backflip?" She heard him ask.
Sybl was confused for a moment. What did he just ask her?
"Uhm...," she said, trying to wrap her mind around his question. What kind of question was that? Why would he ask that?
"I've been practicing. Do you wanna see?" Nai'o smiled, and Sybl could hear a hint of pride in his voice. He seemed confident in his abilities. She looked at him, he had one green eye, one blue. How interesting.
"Yes," she said, giving him a smile, crossing her arms and leaning against the fencepost beside him. "Show me."
The smile he flashed her was bright. It was the biggest smile she had seen on his face. It made her heart beat a little faster, and she felt a bit flushed. He stepped forward a bit and turned away from her. Sybl was suddenly looking at his back, his broad shoulders, his slim waist. She could see a hint of the muscles through his shirt. She wondered if he could lift her easily, hold her up against a wall...
She shook her head, blushing, trying to rid herself of the thought. Now wasn't the time.
"Are you ready?" He asked, the slightest bit of excitement in his voice.
Sybl nodded, before realizing he wasn't actually looking at her. "Yep!"
With a deep breath, Nai'o bent his knees, his feet spread shoulder-width apart, and - hesitated. Sybl could see his chest rise and fall. She wondered if he was nervous, or excited, or if he had actually ever done a backflip in front of anybody before.
He straightened, hand moving to the back of his neck. He didn't meet her eyes, a sheepish look on his face. "Nevermind. It's nothing."
"Nothing?" Sybl feigned her disappointment because she really hadn't known what to expect. "Oh, come on! You've got to show me."
Nai'o shook his head, his hand still on his neck as he turned back to her. "No, no, really. It's fine. I mean... It's stupid." He paused. "It was a stupid question. I shouldn't have asked."
"What? Why? No, it's not. Just tell me," Sybl said. She wanted to know what he meant, she wanted to see him do a backflip since he had been so keen to bring up that he wanted to show her - maybe to impress her, she wasn't entirely sure.
"I was just - it's stupid, it doesn't matter," he said, laughing a little, shaking his head, his gaze fixed on his boots.
"Hey," Sybl said, reaching out her hand. She gently placed it on his arm. She had never touched him before, but he was warm. She swallowed, and he looked up at her. "Show me."
He was staring at her, and it took him a moment to respond. "Can't." He said simply. "It's gotta be perfect. Don't want you to think I'm a total dork if I screw it up."
Ah, so there it was. She got it. He wanted her approval, and he didn't want to disappoint her. That was cute. He was cute. And from what she knew about him, didn't seem completely out of character. But the self doubt he portrayed with this confession tugged something in her heart then, and she found herself looking at the ground too.
"It's not that easy, y'know," Nai'o started again, quietly. "To say how you feel. It's a big thing." He paused, and she heard him inhale deeply.
Sybl felt her cheeks grow hot and she averted her gaze to his knees.
"You're... You're beautiful, and, uh," he laughed nervously. "It's really nice talking to you. It's - you're really sweet, and smart, and..." She could hear him exhale.
She looked up suddenly, and he looked like he could fall over from the velocity at which she lifted her head. She was sure her cheeks were bright red now. He looked terrified, but there was a glint of hopefulness in his eyes; a small smile on his face.
"Watch this." Sybl stated, reaching for the fence nearby, hoisting herself onto the wood with both of her hands.
"What are you doing?" She heard Nai'o ask from hind her.
"Backflip," she said, like if it was the most easiest thing in the world even though she hadn't the slightest idea on how to do a backflip. She took a moment to position herself, her legs spread slightly and her arms positioned as well. She took a deep breath and bent her legs, feeling a slight burn, and pushed herself up, arching her back and flipping her legs over her head - and instant regret followed as her back collided, but not with the ground, but with Nai'o, who had reached out to catch her, and stumbled back.
Sybl groaned in pain, and she heard Nai'o grunt underneath her.
"Ouch," she breathed, her body throbbing.
"Uh-huh," Nai'o agreed.
"I'm sorry," she muttered, her hand finding its way to the back of her head.
"No worries," Nai'o said, his voice muffled as Sybl sat up and he was no longer directly underneath her. She scooted off of him and sat down, looking away. She heard him sit up.
"So... Are we gonna talk about what just happened or...?" Nai'o asked, trailing off.
"I, um. I don't know," Sybl said, putting her hands in her lap. "I didn't - it seemed like the only idea I had."
"You didn't bend your knees right," he mumbled, then stopped.
She looked over at him, raising and eyebrow. "What?"
"Your form," he said, speaking up. "You didn't have the right form. That was the problem."
"That was the problem...?" She questioned.
Nai'o paused, turning away from Sybl as she stood back up and brushed her hair back into place.
"Yeah," he confirmed, bouncing up from the ground with ease. "Let me show you."
He turned to face her, positioning his legs in a similar way as Sybl had tried before, bending at his knees, and hopped up, flipping over. Instead of flailing the way Sybl had before, he landed safely back onto his feet.
Sybl's eyebrows shot up in amazement. "How did you do that?" She asked in surprise.
He looked away, but Sybl could see a small smile creeping onto his face as she brushed her hands on her jeans.
"Show me how." She said, picking up on the slight demand in her voice. But he really had made it look so easy, she wasn't going to just let him be smug about it.
Nai'o shrugged. "Don't you think you need to try like... a cartwheel first?" He asked her.
"No, just tell me how to do it," she protested, holding her hands up in defense.
"Why would you go straight to doing it like that?" He questioned, arching an eyebrow at her.
"You did!"
The farmboy gave her an incredulous look, and if it wasn't one of the cutest look she had ever seen.
"Not until I'd practiced. Like you need to do," he stated.
She sighed loudly. She knew that, and he didn't need to say it. Still. It was important. If he didn't give her help, who was she going to get it from?
He huffed a bit, crossing his arms, knee sticking out slightly. "Fine." He relented. "But I'm going to spot you."
"Of course," she conceded, taking a step towards him.
"You ready?" Nai'o prompted. He moved to her side, she felt his hand hover over the small of her back, and she wasn't sure if she shivered or not, but she felt something, felt her hair stand on end.
"Yeah," Sybl replied, unsure.
"When you're in the air, you gotta control your limbs," he instructed. She was surprised how business-like he got, the playful tone gone from his voice. "That's what messes most people up. You fall out. Control yourself, okay? Go ahead. I've got your back," Nai'o urged.
Sybl hesitated, and took a breath in, closing her eyes and counting herself up and down, exhaling slowly. And when she opened her eyes, she nodded to herself, steeling her resolve and readying herself to flip backwards. She wasn't going to be put off, she was determined. She hopped, legs together, and flipped backwards - just like before, but her mind had turned the full focus onto flipping, and landing on her feet... And it had gone surprisingly well...except for her spotter grabbing her ass halfway through to help her completely flip back.
She spun to him, completely red.
"Did you just- grab my ass?" She squawked at him in incredulity, while he tried and failed to keep a straight face, doubling over laughing.
"You did that wrong!" He managed between fits of giggles, completely evading the accusation. "I said I would spot you!" He huffed, clearing his throat and seeming to try to look more mature again. Still, there was a glint of humor in his eyes as he regained composure, remorse crossing his features as he realized his action may have come off worse than intended. "Uh- hey-" he scratched the back of his head and fumbled a bit before mumbling. "-sorry."
She shook her head.
"It's fine. Your, uh, sense of humor can just use some work, I guess," She blushed, not knowing whether to smile or glare. "Did I do it right, at least?" She changed the subject back, and looked at her own body, making sure it was all there and unhurt. She'd let it go- only because he had seemed like he was genuinely sorry if he made her uncomfortable.
But no, the truth was, she'd been just about to jump out of her skin because her body felt like it was burning when he had touched her. It was just a bit hard to say, especially when he seemed kind of socially inept.
But her little comment seemed to get his mind back on the proper subject again.
"I'd say yes. But not really," He sounded less accusatory and more amused now. "It's really a matter of timing. You weren't bad," He added in a kinder voice.
Sybl was relieved by his gentler manner, but it seemed that he did feel a responsibility towards teaching her.
"That's the biggest thing...you don't need to-"
She tried to focus on the words he was saying, but all she could focus on was his mouth. Watching how it moved, wondering how soft his lips felt and...she had to tear herself away from watching his mouth and tune her ears into his words again.
"Like, your jump isn't coming from your legs- your back has to arch back too so you get all the way over..."
"Can you repeat that last part, please?" Sybl asked him sweetly with a sheepish smile.
His cheeks dusted with blush at her smile, and he coughed slightly, repeating his words.
"Um, sorry-" Sybl mumbled. He had told her to try to jump without her legs? Something like that.
"To uh- really get good at jumping, the energy actually doesn't start in your legs." He seemed hesitant, like he was unsure about whether he could keep speaking, but he kept going anyway, obviously very passionate about this. "It comes from your back, and then your legs..."
His eyes darted back to the field as his sentence trailed off, but then he shook himself slightly. Perhaps he was getting distracted too.
"Don't forget to really...thrust back," He instructed, but she caught the falter in his voice as he said it. Was the word 'thrust' particularly suggestive? Did he notice it and did he say it anyway? Oh, goodness, why did the sun suddenly get so much hotter?! Wait, the sun wasn't even up anymore, dusk was beginning to settle in. She could barely hear his following sentence, something about timing. He looked worried again, but before she could say something, he continued talking.
"...Your hips..." Nai'o paused for a moment and cleared his throat, his face still flushed. "If you move your hips like-while you...you jump." Was this even about backflips anymore? She felt so hot and her stomach was tight and it all got worse when she noticed his throat moving as he gulped.
Her eyes widened and her mouth was open but she didn't remember making her jaw move. "My...I..." Her breathing hitched a bit, but she still didn't feel like she was able to do anything with her body but stand there and stare at him. "Show me...um- show me. please?" She pleaded softly, desperately, trying her best to pretend her face was still normal, that she was still okay. Her hands were curled tightly in the front of her pants and she was sure her heart would burst out of her chest and do cartwheels across the clearing. Why was his voice that way? That was so, so much worse.
Her breath was growing more ragged. What could he think right now? Probably that she was such a freak, all wound up for no good reason because a nice man showed her kindness, all red and twitchy and-
"Sybl?"
"Ah-yes! Y-yes, sorry?"
He was worried. His voice, it was like- like this...raw silk-ness wrapping her up in warmth and softness. It didn't match his figure but made him just all the better. What the hell was happening?
"Do you want-," He was really working his neck right now, trying to get those words out of his mouth. "...Do you need..."
"I'm sorry, yes?" She snapped back out of it. Was that rude to not let him finish what he said? Probably. Ugh, who was she even? He looked hurt that he had her attention now.
"Can I kiss you?" His eyes bore straight into her, his body tense, and his expression uncertain.
He asked to kiss her, that was okay, he just wanted to kiss her. That was- oh goodness, oh boy. This was a lot, a good kind of lot. "Uh..."
A small sound escaped from her lips and Nai'o - absolutely too nice Nai'o who understood everything even if she had no idea herself, realized he might have made a mistake. No way, she wouldn't let him take it back. That was enough to scare Sybl back to life.
"Yeah- yep! You can totally uh- yes?"
She said nothing more, feeling all kinds of heat bursting across her cheeks. Particularly her ears seemed like they were ready to explode any moment. What would his hands feel like? What would his breath feel like? Would he say anything? How close could he get? What about if he touched her? What if her lips were dry- would that be unpleasant?
"Sybl..."
This again, his voice a bit rough and making her name sound like a velveteen poem. This was not real, couldn't be real, and certainly not for her. But it was here and right now he was making an effort to show her exactly that. A step forward and his warmth was engulfing her. One hand finding a careful home on her waist and the other one taking hers other. Her first move was to breathe him in. Warmth, fresh like earth after the rain, with hints of dried flowers and wooden earthiness. A touch of wood smoke, and that was all his breath coming closer.
So this is what he smelled like. If he was so comfortable standing here and giving her the option to either push him away or welcome him in she was definitely going to get greedy.
"Can I come closer?"
Wasn't he already so close already, his chest brushing against her breasts, his lips right above her own? She still felt that prickling sensation crawling over her back as if her body wasn't sure what it was supposed to do. So much heat building and pooling somewhere behind her belly button and deeper still. It wasn't an urge but it felt good all the same. He must have noticed. His mouth twitched with something unspoken, and the sound that rumbled low in his chest - not really a growl. More a deep hum as if he approved. He knew this was making her tingle. He could smell it, probably; and he didn't seem the least bit unhappy with it.
"Why wouldn't I let you close?" She breathed.
This was just one of her questions. Why would he want to get close? She had an inkling, she'd tried to figure this out, yet this was only half the equation. But before she could bother to ask more he'd dipped a bit and closed the space between his lips and hers. First the rough scratchy texture, then the wetness of a tongue slipping over her bottom lip. A shock of sheer warmth was rushing straight through her belly down between her thighs. Her thoughts slipped into a heap, and every cell in her body jumped and lit up.
When he withdrew she stared. He kept quiet, his chin dipping low in front of his chest. Was he breathing her in still? Something else in the mix of his earthiness and wood fire was simmering into her scent; a tang of rising desire. For all her worrying he didn't even mention it or ignore her completely. A part of her brain was still capable enough to comprehend that as a good sign. So really, the only thing she could really try to do was kiss him back, her hands reaching for the sides of his face and easing onto her tip toes to put her mouth where she wanted it.
All the tight coiling and straining in her abdomen had long burst free and spread over every inch of skin on her body, making her light-headed and shivery all over. This must be how it felt to kiss, it dawned on her, just how intensely satisfying kissing someone could feel. She pressed her tongue in deeper to trace the full swell of his lower lip and coax it apart to learn what his mouth was like beyond the sweet slip and press of their tongues. The thought of taking his tongue into her mouth again just flooded her with a shiver that threatened her knees, and she slid a hand back into his neck to press him down a little lower where she could keep up easier. The insides of his cheeks were rougher than hers but so incredibly slick and warm and alive...
He pulled away, "Whoa Sybl...hold on." His voice a growl as he cradled her shoulders, watching her heavy-lidded gaze open a fraction, trying to read into what his was getting at. His mouth was barely parted and moist now from her mouth; his gaze darting off to the right side of her, and back at her.
It took her a few heartbeats and deep breaths, both their chests still moving in sync, before she managed a weak reply. "Hm?" Her nails scraped lightly, involuntarily over his scalp as her fingertips eased out, languidly raking back some of his blond strands into order again.
"It's getting dark...late... I mean the evening's coming fast now and—"
"I should go home." She finished his sentence in the faintest whisper and suddenly went very, very still. Home was...home meant leaving him, going back alone. Her mouth trembled softly with a slow, sultry pout of reluctance.
What about another kiss...or two? Who cared if it was dark... Or that there might be rumors about her and Nai'o now... Oh but wait, she didn't know yet... Was this a promise that it was really gonna happen...sometime soon maybe?
His nose brushed her forehead as he murmured a husky laugh, drawing his head back to gaze at her flushed expression. "I'll see you tomorrow?" he asked, not bothering to hide a rather satisfied grin.
"Y-yea...of course." It came out in a broken rush as she quickly struggled to compose herself. All these overwhelming feelings. What was that strange quiver running through her stomach again. Gosh she needed a glass of water, or ice cold dunk in the lake to cool down.
"Of course you'll see me," she teased, chuckling self-consciously while letting her eyes rove around his handsome face. Then her hand shot to the middle of his chest to play with the top button on his shirt, the first thing her fingertips touched, without thinking as her glance lingered. "Even if we'd say we wouldn't meet, I bet you'd still manage to show up somewhere and run into me anyway."
She hadn't even dared to fully admit it to herself yet. Sybl knew her flirting had turned more and more subtle...and eventually deeper feelings had welled up as well. For some strange reason she did not like being the more forthright one... so her subtle approach had worked, instead? Her expression turned sober at this moment as her glance jumped back up. "Thank you for showing me how to do a backflip. Maybe we could practice again some time, if you have time..."
"Maybe we should," he agreed softly, giving her a roguish little half-smile. He stepped away at last, putting a proper amount of distance between them so her body wasn't pressed to his, so he could actually breathe a moment. He started towards the orchard.
The warmth seemed to remain in her cheeks, like a little pocket of his body heat had settled there. Sybl huffed, reaching up to tug at her roots as she watched him walk away.
"That's it?" She mumbled to herself, shaking her head before shaking out her arms at her sides. It would certainly be hard to sleep that night. No matter how many times her head would hit her pillow, her mind wouldn't calm down. Not as long as the memory of this kiss stayed. The soft, gentle pressure on her lips that she had dared to answer; hoping so much that she wasn't doing any of it wrong.

'Big fish.'
Tumblr media
Tartaglia/Childe x Fem!reader.
Warning(s): none, SFW
(A/N): Been gone for a while, but I’m back and bout to bust tbh.
Tumblr media
Childe was, for lack of better work- a fuckboy. But the only one he couldn't come close to, was you.
Tumblr media
He played with their fragile hearts for the sake of his mission, orders are orders after all, they would understand! Sometimes it was just for the sake of his own amusement, see how far he could string them along before he broke it off. He'd broken up with his last girl just a day ago- he knew this wasn't kind, or even morally correct- but he was a Fatui Harbinger, it wasn't his job to be kind. And he’d never been morally correct.
He’d first seen you exiting a shop, he’d only caught a glimpse before he had a new target to play with, but unfortunately for him, it was the other way around. All it took was a look for him to follow you. Trying to snag a chance to chat it up with you, string you along. He knew this would be fun. So did you.
“Have a nice day! Thanks for purchasing!”
You waved the shopkeeper goodbye, going to turn around until you shouldered some random person. You looked up to say sorry, just for him to beat you to the punch.
“Sorry,-” He wasn’t. “-You ok there?” it was only then he had seen you clearly, you were fucking gorgeous. But he needed to reel you in. Line.
“Oh! That's quite the bagging you've got there, mind the help?” Hook.
anyone would sense the sly undertones to his question, but being the nice person you were, you accepted.
“Oh no! Not at all.” And, Sinker.
He thought he already had you with his display of chivalry and kindness. You were going to be his woman by the end of the day. His soul felt touched at the thought of you being his, but he ignored it, but how wrong he was, you knew what he was doing, you were going to make him work for it.
“Hm, quite the man aren't you?” He didn't know how much he wanted to hear that from you until you said it.
“Are you trying to flirt, girly?”
“Isn’t that what you were doing this whole time?”
So you knew? Hm, he liked a challenge when he saw one, you only just met him minutes ago, yet you saw right through him, for some reason, that made him want you more.
“At Least spoil me a little..?”
“Childe, Pleased to meet you”
Yes, you were going to make him work, empty his pockets. But with a twist. You were going to make him yearn to be yours, dream of being with you- all while you strung him along in a game he thought he was king in. Hook.
Over time you both got more intense.
You both were taken with this unspoken game of cat and mouse, yet neither of you could pinpoint who exactly was the mouse.
Not that it mattered. Line.
You were slowly becoming more alluring, more of his everything. He was becoming yours too.
But you were both set on it. You would be his woman soon enough. One day he would hear you say it, and you’d reel in the big fish;
“Let me be yours” Sinker.

3, 4, 9, 10, 23 for the positive asks?
3) a character that fandom has helped you appreciate
Real talk? The LoI gang in total, sans Leon who I appreciated from the get-go and Walter who is a delicious bastard and doesn't need to be more lol. When I first played the game, I didn't like how Sara just died like that, I didn't like how Mathias appeared at the end of the game just to say "wife died, i'm the bad guy now" I didn't like how Joachim was an utter waste of a good design, and Rinaldo was just the shopkeeper to me. But after looking deeper into the fandom, I started to read more character analyses, about Sara being this spirit full of rage, Mathias' intense emotions and shaky morals, Joachim's intriguing backstory and potential as a wild ally, and Rinaldo's... odd relationship with Mathias himself.
(I wish I could see more of Elisabetha :< but I've read some cute headcanons!)
I also have grown fond of your morally questionable interpretation of Arikado, who previously I relegated to "Alucard but with a shitty design" (sorry my man has my least favorite Kojima design lol) :P
4) say something nice about a ship you don't ship (it can be another ship in your fandom, a mutual's OTP, etc)
I don't ship Alucard with anyone, but I like most of his ships in concept lol. Trevorcard? Trevor is just the Friend of All Time and he would be able to make Alucard accept himself and his cursed nature more, because he sees him as a person (and a honorable one at that) and not as Dracula's spawn. Richtercard? Ah, the parallels, the weight of their family legacy, the hot blooded guy who fought too much and the aloof guy forced to fight once more. Hectorcard? They'd be each other's anchors during Dracula's madness, and possibly reach a deep mutual understanding with their similar personalities.
(sorry, with all my might I don't see any sort of romantic chemistry between him and Maria, and I don't know Sonia enough :\)
9) a ship that isn't your OTP but that you enjoy
Belschine and Shalaura! I like them <3 I love how much Juste and Maxim respect and trust each other, they are by far the friendliest of rivals in the series, and bro you need to put both Friendship Bracelets™ to give Maxim the strength to fight Evil Maxim, that just speaks from itself. And Laura's insistence on seeing Shanoa smile is so cute (and also big mood), and you can tell that Shanoa, despite her lack of emotions, is aware that she would disappoint Laura and she doesn't wish to do so. They grow to care about each other :>
10) a blog (mutual or one you follow) that has made your fandom experience brighter
brooooooo where do I begin
You, @the-crow-binary, @kachimera, @chumpovodir, @radiant-featherball, @aslgit, @howlingdemon13, @monochromatictoad (not the same CV but it's fine <3), and @woodchipp and @spinningbuster98 who are also Sonic mutuals <3 love y'all, I am so glad I found this circle <3
23) the fandom you're curious about because of a mutual
Mh... I tend to not engage with other fandoms this way lmao. But I suppose I have learned enough about DMC by osmosis through Spinning to say that I like it :P

WHO THE *HECK* IS THIS
Tumblr media
No, really, who is Auto? Introduced without an actual introduction in Mega Man 7, driving with Rock and Roll in the opening stage and later acting as a shopkeeper, aaaaand that's pretty much all he does for the rest of the series, sell you stuff.
Tumblr media
He's often seen alongside the Light family so i, and i would guess most of us assumed he was another robot like Rush or Eddie, hell, his shop in MM7 and one of the many mangas IS a giant Eddie, so he HAS to have been built by Dr Light right?????
Nope because that would make him too normal.
Tumblr media
Not even the INAFKING knows what the fuck he was making when he made Auto!!!
This doesn't exactly disprove that he could have been made by Light but i do believe he wasn't mostly because its funnier for him to have just showed up, so, who made him then? Mega Man 6 showed us that there are other roboticists around the world who made the robot masters in that game (who were then reprogrammed by Wily);
So, my GREAT theory for Auto's origin is:::::::::::
a random mf made a silly robot guy to sell stuff and he just happened to really really like Rock and so Light took that guy in like "yeah ur cool"
Thank You

I would really like to know Haru's section! I've been obsessed with this game since 2018 and when I got my laptop the first thing I did was get Nty. Thank you!
No problem! Haru's section is the most thorough section in the NTY!!! setting sourcebook, but it's also probably the saddest. The content of it is along the lines of parade/CLOCKUP's nightmare fuel!
Due to the necessity of it, I will be combining Narimiya's section with Haru's so certain information doesn't get lost. There is also the full introduction of an important character who plays a heavy role in both of their sections--Haru's father, Suemori Yasutaka, the creator and head of the organization.
Warning: Contains references including but not limited to human trafficking, severe CSA, incest, cannibalism, torture, murder, drug use, coprophagy, amputation, etc. This is very NSFL!
To start, I will be splitting this huge post into several sections: the organization, Narimiya Takashi, and Haru.
I. The Organization
The organization is a company that dabbles in human and drug trafficking and caters to rich sadists. It has no name and its headquarters is located somewhere in the Hokuriku region (according to Amemiya). Staff members live in apartments close by and hold all sorts of occupations. They could be health professionals, law enforcement, taxi drivers, shopkeepers, etc. Staff members will go to their "main jobs" as ordinary people do, but when the organization calls them, they have to do their job. Even whole businesses that have ordinary workers have specialized torture rooms, but those not in the know have no idea what goes on.
It didn't just come out of nowhere, though. The organization started with one man named Suemori Yasutaka.
Suemori was a man born a little after World War I. He is a complete sociopath, feeling nothing in terms of emotion and sentiment, and went down a dark path. He wanted to see what made humans so different from him and see what made them tick. Had he not gone down this road, he probably would have become a neurosurgeon or some kind of medical professional, but alas.
Suemori first experimented on animals like birds and small prey before moving on to his own family. Nothing was off-limits to him. He gave off the impression of a simple old man and went undetected. Suemori eventually started up his own businesses and companies, and is currently the owner and CEO of various hotels in Japan. Soon, clients began to pour in from all over the country. These rich sadists were more than happy to pay for Suemori's services and would often request special property to act as their playthings. It didn't matter where they came from. If they wanted anyone in Japan, the organization could snatch them up without a trace. They could even go outside the country and into places like Southeast Asia if they wanted to. However, the organization's policy is to go after people who would not be missed by society, and they do not cause too much trouble. That way, it wouldn't be discovered.
Soon, the organization had a collection of "property," victims who were kidnapped for torture of all kinds and had no rights. They lost their names and were instead referred to by numbers, and are treated just like livestock and refuse. Women are abused far, far worse than men. They're generally forced to take contraceptives to prevent pregnancy, but if one of them were to get pregnant and give birth, the baby would just be killed and tossed away.
Human trafficking is a very, very lucrative business, and Suemori lives in a mansion, pretending to be a normal businessman. As someone who could feel no love, he never married. However, he sired fifty-five children in the course of his life and gave them special serial numbers. All fifty-five of those children died as a result of his experimentation. He did not come any closer to figuring out what made others so different from him, but he never stopped.
"Surely, there would be whistleblowers," you might say. Unfortunately, Suemori loathes betrayal, and all who defected from the organization were swiftly dealt with. They were tortured in ways that made them beg for death, and the end results were not pretty. Once you're in, you'll never come back out.
And one such incident happened in the late 1970's.
II. Narimiya Takashi
Once upon a time, there was a 23-year-old male staff member and a 17-year-old female piece of property. They fell in love with each other and wanted to seek freedom together. The staff member released her, and they both made their escape from the organization. At some point, they got married and had a baby, who they named Takashi.
Takashi grew up to be a kind and intelligent boy, and his parents loved him very much. He knew something was off about his family, though, as they moved homes too often to be considered normal, but he never asked them about it.
Takashi's parents were on the run for a total of twelve or so years before the organization finally caught them. They and Takashi were subsequently taken to headquarters and tortured severely. Suemori forced the parents to have sex with Takashi, both receiving and giving, and brutally mutilated and raped each and every one of them. He used a katana to severe Takashi's left arm and stuff it down the throat of his father, who suffocated and perished as a result. Takashi was turned into property, and subsequently had to watch his mother's slow mutilation. The organization cut off her limbs, her nose, her tongue, her eyes, everything. They turned her into a lump of flesh for sexual use by clients, and Suemori raped her constantly.
Nine months later, Takashi's mother was finally murdered and put out of her misery. Her stomach was swollen with Suemori's offspring. Thirteen-year-old Takashi, who had broken and was severely malnourished, was forced to cut open her belly in search of food... and pulled out a baby boy. The baby's head was a bit damaged from Takashi's removal attempt, and it would become a bald spot on its head in the future.
Takashi looked at the baby. "What should I do with this?" he asked Suemori, who was watching him.
"Eat him, rape him--do whatever you want, Narimiya," was Suemori's reply.
But Takashi looked at this baby--his mother's baby, his little brother. Whether it was out of love, pity or a selfish desire to have something left of his family, Takashi kept the infant and never hurt it.
He and the baby were put under the care of two staff members who played the roles of parents. Takashi was trained to be a staff member himself, but spent what free time he had with his little brother. He taught the little boy his first set of kanji, how to read, how to eat corn on the cob, and held his hand and took him to the pool.
His little brother asked him, "What do I call you?"
Takashi said, "Call me Narimiya."
The little boy grew up rather normal. He said weird things and spoke very slowly, but seemed like a happy child regardless and went to school. For five years, Narimiya and his little brother knew some semblance of peace and normalcy.
And then, one day, Suemori came by and took Narimiya's brother away.
For the next twelve years, Narimiya worked in the organization as a staff member, never knowing if he would see that boy ever again.
III. Haru
The name of Narimiya's brother is never listed in the setting sourcebook, and he probably doesn't know it himself. He first met Suemori around the age of five. He was brought into a room and shown a video of a woman being tortured physically, psychologically and sexually, culminating in her stomach being cut open and a baby being removed. Suemori explained to him that the woman was the boy's mother, and he was the boy's father.
Most children would have been traumatized by that and sobbed. However, this boy looked at him and said, "So what?"
With that, Suemori brought him to headquarters. The boy was given a serial number and was referred to as No. 56. He was to be property and Suemori's personal plaything. Suemori wanted to know if No. 56 was just like him, and spent more than a decade conducting experiments on him.
Around the age of 6-7, No. 56 met another boy his age. His name was Inui Hiroki. Hiroki never lost the hope that his father would come and rescue him, and told No. 56 all about him. It planted a seed of curiosity into No. 56, and he wanted to know what Hiroki's dad, Inui Kouichi, was like, too.
Although he was exempted from disposal events, No. 56 underwent the same torture as other property. He lost his front virginity at age 6 and the back at 7. He was raped by Suemori and others and raped others himself. He was forced to murder, eat human flesh, eat human feces, take drugs, be buried alive, be starved, and so much more. He had a dragon carved into his left shoulder and another tattooed on his right hip and leg. No. 56 was given a dog to take care of and was forced to kill it 3-4 years later. His brain was already abnormal to begin with, but he soon developed PTSD and hypersexuality from all of the trauma he went through.
Something about him stood out from the others, though. Even after going through so much torture, No. 56 never once cried out of sadness. He could feel compassion, but he wouldn't hesitate to put his own life first. He shrugged off hardship and kept moving forward despite it all. No. 56 wanted to live more than anything, even though he held no hope for himself. He knew he would be discarded after Suemori got bored of him or passed away, and only wanted to experience his first and last summer.
At the age of 17, No. 56 participated in the Death Games, a major disposal event in which the winner will be promoted from property to staff and have one wish granted. Hiroki was under the impression they would both walk out the winners and find freedom, but he didn't fully understand the stipulations. They killed the other property until just the two of them were left. And when Hiroki least expected it, No. 56 murdered him to win the Death Games. He was subsequently promoted, and he was now on the giving end of torture toward property. He was also reunited with Narimiya at this point, and lived in Suemori's mansion in the lap of luxury.
But that kind of life was boring. All No. 56 could do was eat, train, watch TV, read books, cook, sleep, and repeat. He learned more about the outside world through TV shows and books, and was fed five-star Western dishes made by top chefs. But he was never allowed outside except for the occasions Suemori sent him out on missions with Narimiya to supervise him, and even then, he'd only be out for three days at most. He played the role of a pampered grandson, but No. 56 wanted to live the life normal people lived.
Then, at the age of 22, No. 56 heard about an investigation into someone who had the procedure to make Melt, a drug that was circulating through the organization. After hearing they would play informant and make contact with Kouichi, No. 56 used his wish from the Death Games. He would take the place of the informant, but instead of the operation lasting three days, he'd take the entire summer. Suemori allowed this, and No. 56 and Narimiya were dispatched to Toshima. Narimiya bought him new clothes, and No. 56 was to wear a dog tag that tracked his coordinates and sent them to headquarters.
No. 56 was set to make contact with Kouichi. However, a car driving straight at his target threw his entire plan off-course, and No. 56 pushed him out of the way and got hit instead. Feigning memory loss, he was taken in by Kouichi and brought to sótano, where he got a job and was given the name "Haru" by Kurosawa Ryu. This leads into the events of "NO, THANK YOU!!!".
There's a lot of trivia regarding both Haru and Narimiya, so here's a bit of it:
Haru
Haru's armpit and leg hair have been removed permanently.
His birthday is December 19th, 1990, making him 22 years old at the start of NO, THANK YOU!!!.
He doesn't have an "actual" name. The organization refers to him as No. 56, but Narimiya only does it around other staff members. Outside of that, Narimiya refers to him as "that boy." Hiroki refers to him as "No. 56-kun," which, in Japanese, is 六十五番くん. Yes, the entire thing.
Haru's dick size is 16cm when erect. For comparison, Hiroyuki's is 14cm, Ryu's is 15cm, Kouichi's is 19cm, and Maki's is a whopping 21cm. Haru's penis is also circumcised.
Haru is ambidextrous but favors his right hand.
He doesn't masturbate.
To Haru, sex is a form of affection and bonding, and he'll have it with men and women. His strike zone is anyone between the ages of 20-60, and he tends to look at boobs and ass first before the rest of their body. The sourcebook notes that, if he absolutely has to for work at the organization or at Suemori's request, he'll do it with children or the elderly, too, but he won't like it.
His memory issue is pretty bad due to the PTSD, and he has a lot of trouble remembering names longer than three syllables. The only exception to this is Narimiya's name.
He's bisexual. Amemiya, the game's director, notes that once he loves someone, he'll never cheat.
He has very limited intensity of emotions. It's noted he only feels about 10% of what normal people feel due to his PTSD.
Haru's favorite fruit is pineapple, and his favorite food is a homecooked Japanese meal because all he eats in the organization is fancy Western food that lacks any sort of love.
Haru is very bad with spicy food and carbonated drinks.
Haru sleeps on his side most of the time, and he'll sometimes curl up.
Of the main cast, Haru is the fastest in terms of speed. The next fastest character is Ryu.
Haru has heavy alcohol tolerance.
Haru has an 80% chance of dying after he goes back to the organization at the end of NO, THANK YOU!!!. However, Amemiya says he's also a very lucky person, so his fate is unknown.
Haru's fighting ability is listed as 9/10 ("assassin" level, which is shared with Maki), and is particularly skilled with knives.
Haru is very appreciative of food and is nice about it even when it tastes horrible. All he'll say is, "Hmm... Something is missing...?"
If need be, Haru can drive a car... with emphasis on the "can." Because he often relies on instinct, it's dangerous, and it's better if someone else handles the driving instead.
He has average singing ability.
Narimiya Takashi
His birthday is October 29th, 1977, making him 35 years old at the start of NO, THANK YOU!!!.
Narimiya is not related to Suemori, and is Haru's older half-brother through their mother. There is zero chance is Haru's father.
He masturbates once a month.
Narimiya's prosthesis is an advanced one and acts much like a regular arm. Amemiya specifically notes in the Q&A section that it cannot shoot rockets.
He is allergic to alcohol and cannot drink, but he also has a sugar addiction. Narimiya can also cook, but Haru is much better than him at it.
He's a surprisingly good singer.
Suemori has a good amount of trust in Narimiya's capabilities, citing his intelligence and craftiness.
Narimiya keeps Haru at arm's length and won't go out of his way to help him with unnecessary tasks, but it's noted there are risks he will take for him. It just depends.
Narimiya's fighting ability is rated 8/10 ("professional" level, which is shared with Kouichi), and is particularly skilled with guns.
The part of a woman that turns him on most is her hair.
Like Haru, he does not feel intensely as other people do in terms of emotions. However, he still feels sentimentality.

Norne for ☕️- Classic AU Setting 😁
Thank you so much for sending me a prompt for my silly little ship, dear! This somehow turned into a ficlet and I have no regrets 😂
Headcanon ask game can be found here.
☕️- Classic AU (Bookshop)
Nigel was nervous when he opened the door to Button Books. It was a tiny shop that had obviously seen better days, one he'd normally walk past without a second glance. It was also his last hope of finding the book his niece had asked for for her birthday, so he took a deep breath and stepped inside. A little bell rang and the young man behind the counter looked up and offered him a polite smile. He looked handsome in his brown vest and white shirt, and Nigel quickly ducked into the cramped aisle of the children's section before his gaze lingered too long. He looked for Cecily's book - "It's the first Merdyn the Wild book, Uncle Nigel." - but struggled to read the titles when the letters began to blur together.
"May I help you, sir?" the shopkeeper suddenly asked from behind him.
Nigel knew he'd never find the book without help - if it was even here - so he swallowed his embarrassment and told the shopkeeper what he was looking for.
"It's right here," the shopkeeper said and reached for a book that was right in front of Nigel's eyes. The relief was so overwhelming in that moment- He has it! - that Nigel didn't even realise he started rambling - "Thank you so much!" And "Sorry, I have trouble reading." And "It's my niece's birthday today and I was sick last week and couldn't get. the book sooner" And "You're a lifesaver!" - until the shopkeeper steered him towards a chair, told him to sit and pressed a fresh cup of tea into his hands.
Later, Nigel learned that the man's name was Thomas and that his co-owners - his cousin of all people, and the woman he'd loved - had opened up another business elsewhere, one more promising than a bookshop. "That's why the place looks so rundown. We planned to renovate it but without Francis and Isabelle ..."
The heavy sigh that followed made Nigel's heart ache. So did the revelation that Thomas used to be a poet who self-published his poems before the world told him he wasn't good enough. Without thinking about it, Nigel added his collection of works to Cecily's book.
"I liked the one about the sunrise the best," he told Thomas a week later when he went back to the shop. And then, trying to be brave, he asked, "Would you read it for me?"
The smile Thomas gave him was the loveliest Nigel had ever seen.

small!
Thanks for playing, Kazzy!!!! I'm sorry it took me so long to answer... I kept forgetting! Now, thanks to your sprint game a couple of weeks ago, I have SIX WIPs!!!!! I've NEVER had that many at one time... I don't think... anyway, let's see how many you hit!
A Scoundrel... Or a Gentleman- CS fic coming soon, tentative drop date in early May, inspired by Francesca Bridgerton's story.
She wanted Killian to kiss her. She wanted Killian.
The knowledge was like a lightning bolt, electrifying her nerve endings and leaving her trembling in anticipation. She wasn’t supposed to want anyone. But Killian…
She waited for him to move. She could do nothing but moisten her lips and wait for him to move. Because she knew when he did, it would be perfection.
And it was.
He claimed her lips with his own and she melted into him. His hand found its way to the small of her back and while he didn’t pull her into him, the barest pressure was there and the distance between them slowly disappeared until she could feel the scrape of his evening clothes through the silk of her dressing gown.
The Arena- Werewolf fic for the @cssns dropping on July 3.
It was nearly a week later that he’d woken, according to his mother. She hadn’t been far behind him as he ran through the market and had seen what the shopkeeper had done. She was too late to do anything about her son’s hand, but she’d made sure the shopkeeper would never be capable of such cruelty again. A small dagger coated with aconite from the Monkshood plant leaving a scratch across his wrist was all it took to sentence the man to death before the sun set that same day.
Return to Me- Dracula inspired fic for the @cssns dropping on August 22.
“I am Killian Jones,” he said. His voice was low and rich and it wrapped around her like a warm blanket on a cold winter's night. “I am Lord of these lands, and you are my love. I’ve waited for you for 250 years.”
“What?!” she cried. His last words made her mind race back to Dr. Cassidy’s words earlier as she quickly put the pieces together. “Are you the vampire?” She couldn’t contain the horror in her voice or, she was sure, on her face. “The one Dr. Cassidy is here to kill? Oh, God! Are you here to kill me?” She pulled her legs toward her chest and scooted as close to the head of the bed as she could, trying to present as small a target as was possible.
“Never, my swan,” he assured her, gentle compassion beset on his features, his hand still outstretched, her superpower as silent as could be. “You are my bride. Returned to me. As promised.”
The Risk of Remembering- H/C fic that is at the bottom of the priority list, no matter what @snowbellewells and @jrob64 say... This is actually from the notes portion of the doc, but since the doc does have words, not just notes on it, I'll share them anyway.
Whale graduated med school, but decided to go back to school to be a vet instead. He cut Killian’s clothes off and Emma found a pair of sweatpants for him to wear but they’re a tad too small… Whale stitched him up- 10 stitches at his hairline, 3 on his cheek. He’s been unconscious for almost 24hrs.
The Rescue- fic inspired by the recent daring rescue of a female tractor trailer driver over the Ohio River when involved in an accident.
Nothing... sorry...
Killian (Indiana) Jones- a fic inspired by... three guesses and the first two don't count... Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The jungle dripped with humidity as the tall man who was undoubtedly the leader pushed through the next tangle of vines and branches on the way to a cave that held the object of his desire.
Two men followed him- one plainly nervous, betrayed by the way his gaze darted around the jungle and the small flinches whenever the cries of animals concealed within the greenery reached them. The other was a native, and when the first man stopped for a moment, mopping his sweat covered brow, he approached with a chuckle.
“Not used to the heat and humidity of Columbia, eh, Dr. Jones? Aren’t you glad you brought me along…” The smug smirk on his face made Dr. Killian Jones roll his eyes in response.
“I’m fine,” he deadpanned, “I can assure you. I’ve been in jungles far worse than this. You just stay close.”
Thanks again for playing!!
