S6 Jay becomes the only ninja aware of death because he saw Nya die but he erased the timeline because he disagrees with death

Morro being so pissed that the ninja invalidated his death that even though in dotd he’s on their side he chooses not to get resurrected with Cole just so no one can use it against him and say death isn’t real

Kai and Nya being unfazed that their parents are alive

Harumi hates the ninja specifically bc of their view on death and she tries to kill them partially to prove them wrong. She keeps failing. They point out that she technically brought back Garmadon proving their point

Cole’s mum is the only dead person in the series. She is the singular outlier to the stats. Vangelis, the munce and geckles all are shocked to find out she’s dead

Even if Nya didn’t actually die, being sea is just as bad so nothing changes

I love a dark, nihilistic ending to a story just as much as the next bitch, but this one lacked. Like, if it would have ended with everyone, and I mean everyone, even Paradis Island people, all dying, I would be more moved.

Instead, we get a montage of a never-ending war between faceless, unidentified forces and lands that they don't show. The camera, and therefore the story, stays rooted in one spot, and thats meant to represent a war torn world? If anything, the ending demonstrates Isayama's limits as a writer: he can't see anything past this one scene of a ceaseless war; this is where his artistic vision begins and ends. This ending exemplifies the range he possesses to tell a story about the human experience, because for him, it never went beyond the hills surrounding his quiet, lame life at home. It was all the same.

AoT gets a 3/10 for me. Nice animation, but I can get that, plus more colors in Demon Slayer 😑
