You know what's crazy to me? People criticize Rory a lot for not defending Paris enough and being hesitant to call her a friend during their Yale years, when like... Paris fully spent all of high school bullying Rory and Rory STILL put in effort to be nice to her and offer friendship whenever she could. Paris kicked Rory out of their apartment with no warning after a perceived slight and Rory never held it against her. And that happened at Yale, when they were like 21. People just don't give Rory a break.
hnnnggg was just thinking about this and you’re absolutely right. after the way paris treated rory and how awful she was, rory was under no obligation to give her second and third and fourth chances. she didn’t have to be her friend, but because she’s a good person and also very observant, she recognized that paris was just insecure and lonely and was raised to be competitive/a perfectionist. people will literally drag rory for the stupidest shit when they themselves would have labelled paris as “toxic” and avoided her at all costs. do some basic reflection before you call her a selfish and shitty friend pls!!

She appeared in the back of the police transport van and regarded the old man on the opposite bench, his hair mussed and jaw slack, eyes vacant and staring off into the distance.
“Did you believe I would set you free if you could not remember our bargain, Mr. Maverick?” Verna asked, unseen and unheard by the guards in the van with them. “Or did the true weight of your crimes catch up with you before I did?”

The way that Poseidon knows that Sally doesn't want to take Percy to camp, the way he wants Percy to be able to be as much like Sally as he can... Maybe he knows that Sally's goodness is paramount to Percy's ability to eventually save Olympus, or maybe he just wants his son to take after the woman he loves - a woman unlike any he'd met in a thousand years. Further, the way he so clearly wants to be there for them both but knows he can't. The way that's obviously killing him to not be a part of their lives, and so he takes this opportunity to be there for her, even if it hurts him to hear what she has to say. The way he encourages Sally to speak her mind and re-assures her that its' not fair, that she hasn't failed, that she's doing well by Percy, that she's raised him well, and he promises to be there for Percy when he can (and in his own way he has been when it matters).

I’m so sorry I just CAN’T stop thinking about the (wasted) potential of the supernatural anime. Like put those grown ass men in ridiculous situations and tropes that are normally seen in a high school slice of life comedy. Where they’re forced to act in a play, and Dean and Cas are somehow chosen to play as lovers while Sam is…a tree. Where Sam runs with unkempt hair half-buttoned shirt and a toast in his mouth because he’s late for college. Where Cas transforms like a magical girl and shouts attack names everytime he uses his powers. Where Dean screams “kyaah!” and gets his well deserved BEACH EPISODE.
And the episode starts with them getting ran over by truck.

Might be a bit of a weird thing but I want to see Kai's sudden anger sprouts or emotional outbreaks to come back, or basically some aspects of pre S8 Kai.
I want to see Kai motherfucking smith be mad at anyone really.
The Merge just happened and fuck me his family is scattered again, they're probably just as worried and confused and scared as him and he's sick of everyone he cares about getting constantly in danger, intentionally or not.
And then he meets Lloyd, or Nya, and he's sorta relieved but at the same time, the others are still missing out there somewhere.
So he gets clingy onto them, "if I can't find the rest I have to keep the ones I have close me to safe."
Of course this comes from worrying over the others and their safety, and if the name "Imperium" and if their nindroids and Vehicles and genrals are anything to go off of, they're an absolute force to be wrecked with.
Doesn't help either that there's the responsibility now of ensuring Sora and Arin (and Riyu) are safe as well.
And the moment I want to see him have an anger or emotional outburst is in a scenario where Nya makes a one off comment about Kai being overbearing and protective of them.
And Kai just snaps at Nya.
He goes on a large fucking tangent about how he's always had to stay calm in clearly shitty situations, because they as a group just keep getting separated time and time and time again, danger around the corner at any given moment and he's tired of it.
And it would especially hurt him that the comment comes from Nya out of all people, because not too long ago she was still one with the sea, he had to sacrifice his entire childhood just to raise and protect her, and he knows to respect her boundaries and beliefs but in his mind the last time he went too soft it ended up with her sacrificing herself for them.
And he doesn't want to go soft nor can he because at any given moment, one of them could give their entire being just to save the others, and he's seen it way too many times, so he just can't.

SUBTLE THING I JUST NOTICED THATS VERY NICHE TO ME SPECIFICALLY!!!!!!!
The linework for backgrounds on earth are chaotic and messy. Lines vary much much more in size, width, curves and ridges and the outline thickness tends to never make logical sense
Meanwhile everything that's irken based is neat and formal. Lines make more sense and are very smooth and regulated throughout. Outline thickness makes much more sense here and usually follows traditional “rules”
I think that’s such a great detail that adds so much story to both sides
