I need to rant about Ivan guys guys I neeed to rant about Ivan (<--- keeps trying to write fics of him but Never finishes him) like God this man is so gay and so in love it genuinely hurts it Hurts and I am Injured by it and the imagrey is Sooo Good (and Yes this is probably me just parroting stuff Everyone has already said before but shut up it's my turn now!! Just like,

You can see it in the way he sees the stars in Till. His own hopes for freedom and the only real light in this world that he lost sight of in Till. He is the hope and wish for freedom that he has shut away and repressed and it makes him fall So Hard

Or how you only really see that red in his eyes (after. Almost Dying) when he's with or singing/thinking about how Till has Inspired him, like a fire has been lit inside him. A fire lit in the darkness. . hmm...

even at the end of the song, where he knows full well that he absolutely Crushed his opponent and also knows full well that Till is his next one. I'm sick. I'm so sick.

Or like. When he frees Till and everything is just Engulfed in that red now. How Till has that same fire in his eyes, he and Ivan are on the same page now. They see that same hope for freedom and they both share it. They're running towards the light (like the sky's lighter there, more on that in a sec), hell, the corners of the right side of the screen are literally tinted in LIGHT GREEN. Till's color. God dammit the whole scene is tinted in red and green. They are literally Complementary Colors. I'mmm soooooooo (God these scenes are soo pretty too I was genuinely Stunned when I first saw this)

DID YOU EVEN NOTICE I ONLY NOTICED NOW the Stars are fucking green. You can see it better in some of the Later Images but they are Literally Green because Ivan sees the stars in Till and uuuughsdfbshb

OR LIKE WHEN TILL TURNS BACK?? AND. And that red is no longer in his eyes and before The Realization hits Ivan his eyes are just Glowing with red. Because he was just Filled with that hope. Freedom was, potentially, Right There

Did you guys even notice in that like. 5 frames in the half-second animation of Till turning away he's totally engulfed in his shade of green. Like of Course. That's such a Till thing to do because of Course he's running back he never actually liked Ivan that way in the first place.

And also the lighting of the sky Flips. Because the light has always been with Till. And Ivan's left in the darkness. In the. Haha. Ha. Black Sorrow. Aha *sits down cries*

And Again with this mf's stupid eyes how they revert to just black because that hope's been stripped away again, how it's even reflected in his present self singing as he reminisces on it. Fucking. Ivan's Expression when Till runs away.T here's so fucking much like the irony. Like did he even see Till hesitate or did he just see him turn and run away.

Like the irony that the guy who's always breaking the rules and fighting and defying and clearly hating living in a world like this won't run away with him, who has always been passive and obeying the rules and just accepting captivity and has been repressing his desire for freedom is so Bitter and Awful but also he always Knew this would happen what the Hell was he thinking this was such a stupid idea like

this man gets No Breaks No Breaks Ever oh yeah btw they're facing off against each other in a literal Death Match. That they might've had a Chance of avoiding if they ran away. Ahah. Hh *sob*

Also this art brings me so much Joy as much as it hurts me on a visceral level like. Ivan Always has his eyes on Till but it goes from a fond smile. Like So Fond flat out lovestruck affectionate gaze because he loves this man and loves spending time with him to a grimace once they're on stage. How Till never really changes or really Has Changed, and that's why Ivan loves him as much as he is resentful towards him. How that's what brought them here, to the stage. How Ivan changed for Till and Because of Till but still Till is like a god damn immovable object with how he stubbornly sticks to his ways. There's such resentment but isn't he himself also stubborn for always sticking to Till anyways? Hell, he's singing all about him in Round 3 and loses control over his own emotions and expressions during it I'mmm Guhhh

Also the first image is titled Observation while the second one is titled Decision(? I think). Like mf What are you deciding. What happened Last Time you decided to do something I'm going to punt you into the next planet

Speaking of observing,

Just. How Ivan's Always Observing. I saw one person point out he's like a background character and it's like he sees himself as one too. He is a passive observer in his Own Life. How he watches all the other children in Anakt garden play. How his childhood leading him to Anakt Garden just kind of. Happens around him while he watches indifferently.

How he's always trailing behind Till. Or how he tends to just. Observe quietly and is portrayed as such.

Not to mention how he doesn't appear in the memories of Anyone else's rounds, not even Till's, even when he literally (temporarily) freed him from the city. He doesn't even appear At All in Luka's round even though we get a clear shot of Till getting his hopes and dreams shattered (though it Does parallel another shot of him from Round 2)

And then the One Times he tries to take action. Or start something. It gets rejected and he's resigned to just. Trailing behind again. Because of Course he'll always follow after Till. And of Course he's fucking bitter about it and bitter about himself because he Knew this would happen and Till is Always looking at someone else and that Never Changes but. He just thought for a moment that he could change something. Man.

Oh I forgot to talk about the competitions themselves huh? Wellll, (and I'll Attempt to keep it brief because I've been writing this post for Much too long but)

Till spends his first round singing completely devotedly to Mizi. Hell, his song wasn't even in the program, it's likely- no, almost definitely something he wrote entirely for her, and Ivan has no part in it, just watches bitterly as he passes out after his, er, stunt at the end

And continues to be passed out for almost the entirety of Ivan's song

Oh but he woke up for the emotional/musical climax at least, going over Ivan's most important memory of them together, that's cool at least right?! Surely Till felt something from that

Maybe they can talk something out, or at least acknowledge their relationship in Some way. Maybe Ivan could at least be seen by Till-

Aaand Till's Actual love interest Supposedly gets shot and now he probably thinks she's dead. His attention is turned to her once again, like it's always been from the start. He never really changes huh?

Gets hopes and dreams and future crushed by aliens (standard stuff). Sold off in an auction. Put in prestigious singing school and up to that point he hasn't really cared about Anything and has simply been going through the motions.

Meets boy that basically embodies the freedom and hope he used to have. Falls badly in love. Boy loves someone else. Tries to free him and give him the thing he'd surely want most. Rejected. Back to school you go loser.

Oh btw this school is to train you for a competition to the death. Btw you're facing off against that boy you love in the semi-finals of said death competition. And you might kill him or he'll kill you. Because you didn't run away when you had the chance.

Also he didn't sing or think about you at all during his round. In fact I'm pretty sure he wrote a whole ass song that wasn't even registered in the Alien Queue or whatever for someone else. Also he probably has hardly looked at you. Also he was unconscious for almost the entirety of your song. Except for the part where you lost control of your emotions.

Oh but that doesn't matter now because now he thinks the person He likes was just killed. So he's kiiinda gonna be distracted by that. And that might fuck up your round with him. Sorry man

This was Originally a rant about how much I love Black Sorrow's imagery and the portrayal of Ivan's love because this man clearly has Complex Emotions and then Kinda derailed into me just ranting about how many L's he's being handed before getting the executioner's blade. Uhhhhh oops. Congrats on sticking to the end though?

I just love Ivan very much. He is So Bitter and so Horribly In Love and looks up to and is inspired by Till So Much and I wish people explored him on a deeper level/more personally.

I wish I saw more deep looks at Ivan/Till, there's clearly Complicated Things going on there. Hell, we don't even know what Till's pov on the whole thing is aside from that One scene of him hesitating before running away from Ivan. As much as I love fluffy interpretations of them, I (did I mention that I'm an angst addict btw. Could You Tell) wish all their Complexities could be acknowledged. Like how Ivan Clearly puts Till on such a spotlight and it is Such a downfall for him through and through and he Kinda knows it but also What Else does he Have and he really looks up to him Sooo Much (just. Look at them in that official art of them in Anakt Garden !!!) and deep down just wants to run away from this horrible place and wants to run with Till, the Light of his life the fire in the darkness the fucking stars the universe his black sorrow just. Oh My God I need to end this post already I was supposed to be studying but spent those 2 hours Writing instead

But anyways yeah uuhhh long story short? This guy is a gay loser. He tries to look sooo cool and smooth but he is suuuch a gay lovestruck loser and his rose tinted glasses are so thick he can't see shit (I'm pretty sure I quoted that from something (but also no genuinely when I first got into alnst after just watching the first 3 rounds videos and saw Ivan in official art I was So Surprised like "Oh he's actually That kind of mf that tries to look Cool and Hot but is actually just Pathetic and Sad and Gay I thought he was Just Sad and Gay")) he's probably also touchstarved as hell idk and his love is doomed by the narrative (unless Hyuna saves his and Till's asses. Buuut we'll see </333)

Touchstarved Demo Review

Played the demo of Touchstarved and I can’t get it out of my head. Refreshing tumblr every three seconds to read people’s stances on the game so I’m going to do it myself. Here’s are my current stances on the characters.

KURAS

Rather secluded and to himself, initial reactions wise I was disappointed in not getting to know more about him in the demo. but at the same time, the demo set the stage for what exactly I could expect from his route. Slow-burn. Much like what I expect Mhin’s route to be like, but moreso focused on getting to know his past. He doesn’t voice his internal struggles because he has a firm barrier he sets between himself and other, probably hates getting too close to human’s because he is immortal and doesn’t like the idea of getting attached to things that are temporary.

Also, after listening to the Q and A on YouTube and how supposedly Kuras will do some messed up shit in his route, I’m really excited to see what’s up with this tight-lipped doctor. He is definitely not the nice, charitable doctor that he is known for in Lowtown.

On a positive note, his design is probably my favorite in the game! Very unique, gorgeous, and ethereal, so pretty that I know if he existed in real life he’d be out of my league and would be popular just because of how jaw-droppingly gorgeous he is. Mr Steal your girl, but he’s respectful so he won’t be a home wrecker.

LEANDER

A character that I thought looked so suspicious and weirded out, but fell in love with when playing the game. I thought he looked like a psychopath!

Because I’m a stupid, easily manipulated dumbass, I initially didn’t really capture his red flags when playing the demo. Every time he let me touch him, my heart beat wouldn’t stop! And his blush is so adorable. He seemed like the trustworthy nice-guy that just wanted to help a poor soul out. And uh, chest. The chest really had an effect on me and his entire outfit didn’t help. Black turtle necks awaken something in me, yknow? And the belts? Hoe energy.

After replaying the demo a few times, it just stands out to me how much of a player he is. Before realizing MC was at the bar because of Kuras, he was in flirting mode and probably considering MC to be part of his escapades. The disappointment in his tone and face when he found out MC was there for business 😂😂.

We get the most information of Leander from the special conversation with the characters so I am quite pumped to know what exactly this guy is about, cuz each person has varying, colorful opinions on him. I find it so funny that Vere, the most flirtatious in the game, is weirded out by shameless Leander is. Maybe that is Leander’s flaw? The leader of the Bloodhounds, envied by many and respected by most, is the most submissive and horny bitch on the planet. Ok ok, I’m done. But I could go on and on about this man.

(Side note, Mhin and Leander definitely had a drunken one night stand. And Mhin absolutely regretted it)

Even after reading all the theories on how sus he is, his interactions were probably my favorite in the entire game. I’m just so intrigued by him.

VERE

Not the biggest fan of Vere. I’m not into animal ears and tails.

Im going to be honest in real life I would be flustered by Vere’s advances and probably feel a sort of fascination towards him echen to attraction, but he’s not really the type that I want to romance in games. Also the fact of the matter is is that sexual innuendoes just not my thing, especially when it comes to first impressions. And my first impression was getting my key stolen so nice.

Irl Vere can be acquaintances at most. I would be there just to hear the juiciest details about some drama. He would always have some snarky comment that would make me laugh. I love some dark humor. But at the same time, he’s dangerous af. I wouldn’t want to get too close to him. He has major issues and idk when he would snap, that’s the scary part! If I tease him playfully and he was not in the mood, off goes my head.

I like his relationship with Ais, adds more juiciness to the story. Love me some love triangles. Reminds me of Rime and Felix relationship in Last Legacy.

I would like the challenge of winning him over though. Because his route would probably be so unpredictable and challenging, I feel more motivated to play and invest in his story

AIS

I love his character design! Probably my second favorite in the game. Ais exudes confidence, competence, and strength. Major main character vibes from Ais. I’m guessing that’s why Leander hates him. HOW DARE YOU BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION, LITERALLY THE CENTER OF ALL THE PROMO ART YOU FUCKIN BASTAR-

I personally do not feel that much of a love connection towards Ais as much as Leander. More like, I chill with you. I could grab a drink with you and talk about life. Yes. Maybe when I play his route they’ll prove me wrong. Im still curious about him so can’t wait to play his route. But I don’t see much of a red flag in him as the others, he just seems like a chill guy that went through hell. I’m guessing he’ll show his dark sides in his route.

It’s concerning that he’s attracted to Vere cuz Vere is…Vere. Problematic. Chaotic. An Asshole. Hmmm, is Ais technically an enabler? Yes, but Ais also starts bar fights. They’re both bad. It’s also interesting how generally people would say ethically good qualities on why they are attracted to someone but no, Ais is just like “yeah he’s an asshole, you can trust him just don’t listen to anything he says.” It’s hilarious. That also contrasts with Leander’s bio how he sees Vere as a damsel in distress cuz he’s delusional and has white knight syndrome, while Ais sees people who they are because he’s the black sheep “that have the clearest view of the world.” That’s probably why Vere loves him. Ais is the only person that sees his crappiness and still likes him. What a Chad :,)

MHIN

They reminds me of a friend I have. Quiet, standoffish, takes time to open up, a MASSIVE sweet tooth. I really want to pet their heads but I know they’re going to smack it away if I even try to touch. 😭😭

Mhin, the angsty teen. Considering Mhin’s bad temperament and similar curse thing with MC, I’m going to guess it’ll have major Beauty and the Beast vibes. Tempermental Mhin and MC who would turn them into a better person and teach them how to love themselves, with or without the curse.

The friendship with Mhin and Kuras make a lot of sense. Mhin feels at peace with Kuras cuz he’s a good listener and the only introvert in the friend group. Mhin needs someone that won’t try to annoy them like Leander or Vere. But I remember listening to the stream with the developers, and they were saying how terrible Kuras is and can’t wait for people to find out about it. Will Mhin feel betrayed when they find out the truth about Kuras? Do they already know? So many questions.

Nancy found out you were a very touch starved person when you two were eating at her family.

She'd see you bump your hand with hers in hope of her seeing the signs that you wanted to hold hands.

Or brushing your hand with hers.

You'd move her hand to your thigh or hand under the table.

You'd even hug her when her parents didn't look or were busy in another room. The hugs were so random too.

Or when you two went shopping on a date, you'd get closer to her as you two walked and would wrap your arm around hers.

She'd hold your hand when you two were in her room though. Other then that, it was just hugs and holding hands.

But as the months go by, she'd let you hug her at random times, getting use to you, while she hanged out with Robin.

Nancy loves it when you simply walk up to her whenever she's talking to someone and you hug her from behind and press your forehead on her neck. She finds it very cute that when you are really touch starved, you simply walk up to her and she doesn't mind at all. She could be talking to anyone and this would go like:

Robin and Nancy have been talking about bands and artists they like. The kids, Steve, Eddie, and you sat on the sofa while they all talked about DnD and Steve complaining about not understanding the game. You would look at Nancy from time to time as you fidget with your hand. You didn't really feel like interrupting their conversation because of you wanting Nany's touch.

Nancy looks over at you and sends you a smile. You get up and Dustin calls for you, telling you to get in the game. "Sorry, got to do something." You say and he nods. You walk up to Nancy and Robin smiles. "Hey [Name]!" She says and you smile back. "Hi Robin." You walk up behind Nancy and wrap your arms around Nancy. She moves her hand onto yours and holds it. "Anyways, about The Beatles?" Nancy asks, wanting to continue the conversation.

"Y-Yeah… The Beatles?" Robin says and continues the conversation. Nancy fidget with your fingers as you just lay your head on her back or move to her shoulder.

When it's time for break at school, you hurry to Nancy's class and hug her. When you see her wall outside.

"How was class?" She asked as she hugged you back.

"Horrible, I missed you." You say and she says, "It's only been two hours."

"Too long." You'd say and she'd still hug you.

Holding hands in public is something you two can't do, which makes you sad but you understand why. It's for you and Nancy's safety.

But at your place or hers, you two can hold hands and do whatever you want.

Nancy knows you are very touch starved and doesn't like seeing you down at school.

She'd give you hugs and that's it. And maybe some kisses on the cheek when no one is around or seeing you two.

Nancy always picks you as her helper for Hawkins High reports just so you two could have some alone time.

And when she calls your name to be her partner/camera person, she loves seeing that huge smile on your face.

But when you two are alone, she will hug you, kiss you, hold your hand, cuddle, cup your face, and much more.

You jumped on Nancy's bed while she took off her shoes. You hold your arms up with a huge smile on your face. She smiles back at you and locks the door, turns the radio on, and hops on top of you. You wrap your arms around her as Nancy kisses your jaw.

You love feeling Nancy's warmth on yours. It can even be her pinky wrapped around yours. It isn't enough, but I still love the effort she makes.

When you and Nancy graduated, you two started working. You wanted to work with her, but being a reporter wasn't really for you. And she'd be too busy to even give you hugs.

You decided to work at Family Video with Robin and Steve. Robin told you they needed more employees.

You accepted and here you are, with two dingus people while you stare at the door every day you have a shift.

Robin rewinds the movies that were brought back and looks over at you. She sees you have been rubbing your thighs with your hands and then you hug yourself. Robin has been noticing that lately since you started working with them.

"What's wrong? Is everything alright?" She asked. "Yeah, all good." You say as you look at the door and at the time. "She's waiting for Nance." Steve whispers to Robin.

Nancy likes to go to Family Video during her break to give you some lunch. But mostly just to spend time with you.

You would go to where she works too but she's usually busy.

That's when the door rings and you jump on top of the counter, making Steve yell at you. Nancy laughs and hugs you. "Hi [Name]." She says. "Hi sweetheart." You say as you kiss her cheek.

You two would talk as you held her hand and then she'd pick a movie for you two to watch for your dates.

On movie dates, Nancy's mom loves to cook snacks for you two. Cookies, cupcakes, and much more sweets. She'd even bring you guys dinner up to her room so you two wouldn't have to handle Mike and his friends' loud voices as her husband complained about them being loud.

"You are always welcomed here [Name]." Mrs. Wheeler would always say, assuring you that you are never a burden(at least to them because her husband complains about having guest all the time)

You two would cuddle in her bed as you watched TV(a TV that she bought for you two just so she wouldn't have to be in the living room as her dad complained about how movies aren't that good as they used to be) with the movie that you rented at Family video.

You'd be cuddling close and then would gran Nancy's arm and lay it in your stomach just to feel more of her warmth. She'd then kiss your head and continue watching the movie as you lay your head on her chest, hearing her heartbeat.

Nancy just loves you and the little things you do and always will.

At the town meeting, then the boathouse:

You can hear Jason long before you reach the door to the large room everyone’s packed into.  You can also hear the yells of agreement from within the crowd.  Your mind flashes to the brief amount of research you’d done on cults for a history project last year - you’d gotten a B for your efforts, but also a parent-teacher conference due to the contents - and you can’t help but think Jason would make a great cult leader.

His awful diatribe is cut short when you swing a fist straight into his mouth.

“You need to shut the fuck up, Carver.  You have no idea what you’re talking about and harassing innocent children isn’t going to fix anything.”

After a collective gasp, the room went silent in shock until two of Jason’s team buddies come and drag you away from him despite the fact that you clearly didn’t plan to hit him again.

Closing the barn door after the horse has bolted, in your opinion.

“What?”  Jason exclaims, looking at the cheerleader who would put her extra fries onto his plate without him needing to ask, who would hold Chrissy’s hand when she got nervous before a big performance, who he would’ve called a friend up until thirty seconds ago.  “What are you talking about, Y/N?  What are you - his little girlfriend?”

“I’m someone who knows due process says innocent until proven guilty, dumbass.  You’re inciting a mob to chase someone with no evidence while you’re high on cocaine, Jason!”  You let your voice carry on purpose; let the adults in the room - previously wound up and hanging onto Jason’s every word - hear that they were following the ramblings of a grieving, coked-up highschooler.  “You need to let the police do their jobs and leave this alone.”

Turning, you tug your arms from the loose grips holding them and head to leave the room, very aware of the muttering going on in the crowd.

“You shouldn’t be sticking up for him, you little slut!”  Jason yells impulsively, aiming to hurt but not thinking through the consequences of doing so in front of almost the entire town after you’d just accused him of being high.  “Chrissy was supposed to be your friend!”

You’re slamming through the exit doors before he finishes his sentence, Steve following behind in shock.

“She stuck up for you, y’know?”  Dustin mutters, trying not to draw the attention of everyone else in the small boathouse.

“What?”  Eddie looks over at him, baffled and feeling a little slow on the uptake after no sleep and a shitload of terrifying information about another dimension.  “Who?”

“Y/N.”

Eddie scoffs.  “Yeah, right, Henderson.”

“I’m serious,” he whines, affronted.  “She punched Jason Carver in the face.  It was awesome.”  He pauses, mouth dropping into a pout.  “Well, at least I bet it was.”

“What?”  Eddie feels like he’s getting more confused by the second - like he’s only hearing one side of a conversation and he’s supposed to guess the rest.

“Well, I didn’t exactly…  See it happen.”

Eddie throws his hands up dramatically, shaking his head.

“Well, then, why do you think –”

It's kinda all over the place so sorry about that

Let's be honest anyone related to 'dunce-face' is probably already a deemed a menace in his mind

So the first time he meets you, he's like "ew another extra"

Overtime as the rest of the Bakusquad grow on him so do you

I personally imagine Denki's twin to be like more calmer and smarter than him cause like majority of the time in the case of twins one's always smarter (no offense Denki) and in this case it's you

You're like super smart and you're quirk is kinda the opposite of Denki's electric quirk

You have full control of the shadows

You can make your own domain from the shadows and in a way control every movement made by the person inside the domain

You can also trap people in a protective bubble like shield where nothing can enter or leave

Enough about you tho

You and Katsuki have a very complicated relationship

He's all rough edges and snarls while you're soft smiles and sharp looks

Since you have a relatively powerful quirk it means you're often very tired and get nosebleeds from overuse which is where you see for the first time how gentle Katsuki can be with you

He's still grumbling on and on about how you're a dumbass but it's the way he gently holds you upright and brings a cloth to your nose that you see past his tough guy exterior

It's these moments that remind him of how lucky he is and then once more he's enveloping you in his arms

There's days where both of you are too busy to see eachother so that usually entails a lot of messages shit talking everyone who annoys you two

And then there's days where both of you have days off

This usually means both of you being in the same room doing your own thing but every now and then you look towards eachother making sure the other is okay

There's nights where you both lay cuddled together and talk about your school memories

It usually includes you mocking Katsuki's actions while he groans but still he indulges you cause that's love

What do you think the odds are on Mike being a virgin. Something that occured to me when the film wiki claimed he was 20, before changing to saying he's 30 today (no sources either time). He's had such a traumatic life from such a young age, interpersonal issues...so much time focusing on trying to fix his past mistake with Garett. Since Ranjaka doesn’t know shit about the Tarun Matara, Bhadra finds comfort in that fact since nobody else wouldn’t see her as that either.

They are so so sooooo touchstarved. Bhadra likes to hold his hands and eventually Ranjaka gets more comfortable with hugs so they cuddle a lot and share their space just to be close to each other. #friendship🙄

A bit of explanation for the stats:

Luneth was originally going to have less luck, but remembering her backstory…she fell headfirst off a high cliff down a waterfall and survived with minor injuries. So, yeah, I gave her a ton of luck.

Luneth’s wisdom is 4 for her verbal sparring sessions with Vere.

Emotionality is 1, which doesn’t mean she has no feelings, she just doesn’t express them very strongly or often. But the emotions she does experience are all-consuming and carry a lot of depth.

She has high intuition because of her seer abilities, and by the end of the demo, she probably has the best sense of the characters out of my MCs.

I gave Alon 3 wisdom because it seemed like a good default score, but now I’m kind of rethinking it since she’s supposed to be a bit of a dumbass. Most of their wisdom comes from their high emotional intelligence, their humour, and their lived experiences.

Luck is 2. I think that might be closest to the MC’s luck in the demo. She got slashed across the eye with a blade and can still see through that eye, so it’s higher than a 1.

Jin has the worst luck of my MCs, all of his fears are constantly being validated by the narrative. He is afraid that his curse will hurt someone the moment he lets himself see the world, and lo and behold…Mr.Chokey.

I gave Jin the same wisdom stat as Alon. He does not have many life experiences, but he’s very thoughtful, empathetic and introspective. So probably wiser than his naivety suggests.

Jin’s desire to learn and explore the world and desire for comfort in the familiar constantly warring with each other.

After my favourite dumbass tried to sacrifice himself:

You’d jumped right back through to go after him.

He’d willingly thrown himself back into the fray of danger, well aware he was likely sacrificing himself to save the others, and you’d had none of it.  You surprise him at every turn, he should really know this by now.

He’s on the ground, bleeding out, head in Henderson’s lap as he mutters about not running this time.  His eyes flicker over to you and he finally notices what you’re actually doing.

“Woah.  Am I already in heaven?”  His voice is just a croak, and you hate how nice his smile is even when his teeth are stained red with blood and you’re fuming mad at him.

You’ve taken your shirt off - no time for modesty when someone is literally bleeding out in front of you - and are ripping it into long strips.  He can’t help but think of Nancy doing something similar for Steve - what feels like years ago now - and the implications he’d picked up from the gesture.

He doesn’t have any more time to wonder what the implications are here - if there are any - or to ogle at your bra-clad chest, because you speak to him and his brain is so fuzzy at the moment it takes all of his willpower to focus on one thing at a time.

“I’m sorry, Eddie,” you mutter, pulling earring after earring out of your ears.  “I’m so sorry.  Dustin, hold him down.”

You direct Dustin’s hands - one down to Eddie’s hip and one to his shoulder, shoving down to indicate the pressure needed.

“For what?”  Eddie mumbles, baffled, before screaming in pain.  He tries to writhe but Henderson must be freakishly strong or he must be freakishly weak because he doesn’t get far.  Looking down, he sees why the numbness of blood loss was so quickly replaced with piercing pain.

You’re hooking your hooped earrings through his worst wounds.

“What the fuck, Y/N?  What the fuck?”  He screeches, tears falling down the sides of his face.

“I know, I know, I’m sorry, Eddie, I’m really sorry, but I can’t let you bleed out.”  Your voice cracks on the last two words and it takes him another agonising 30 seconds before his brain catches up and he understands what you’re doing.

You’re using the earrings as makeshift stitches.

Where the fuck did you learn how to do that?

He has just enough time to realise you’ve once again surprised the shit out of him before you’re pressing sections of your shirt down onto his wounds, winding tight to add as much pressure as possible.  The pain makes him feel nauseous.  Then it makes him feel nothing.  He’s out cold.
