lets talk about transgender star trek stuff-

specifically this tangent I've been on for a while now: HRT in other species.

like- I'd imagine each different star trek race would have different hormones/dosages and stuff, but also think about people who're mixed– surely they have specific dosages of both types of hormones, right??

I'm using spock and bashir as examples because why not?

ok so spock is half human and half vulcan, right? vulcans and humans have A LOT of differences- vulcan blood is copper based, human blood is iron based, their anatomy is very different- surely their hormones would be different too?? like spock would need an equal dosage of both vulcan and human hormones. (of course I'm sure he'd bother mccoy to give him more vulcn hormones since he's always trying to be more vulcan )

Bashir is a human augment- a mix of a bunch of different species' DNA and stuff. surely he'd need a cocktail of different hormones!!

it just plagues my mind how much each different type of person in star trek would need certain different things to transition!
