Relationship Headcanons in the Ark and Nemesis and more + Humanformers Headcanons

(They are all from Cybertron still and they live for a long time.)

Arcee, Frenzy, and Nova Storm are trans females, Exhaust, Rewind, Tailgate and Sandstorm are trans men.

Lady Silverbolt, Knockout, Ratchet, Jazz, Blaster, Eject, Rodimus, Bumblebee, Mirage, First Aid, Streetwise, Sideswipe, Cosmos, Dead End, and DragStrip

Ratchet is a tired mom to everyone sighing heavily as she drinks her energy coffee. She in particular fond of First Aid, Velocity, and Minerva (her medical students) and Silverbolt (the air commander and new tired mom to a bunch guys: Fireflight, Air Raid, Skydive, Tracks, Powerglide... While oblivious to Slingshot’s feelings for her.).

Grapple and Hoist are equilivent of Tired Uncle and Fun Uncles to the factions.

Greenlight and Arcee are the matchmaking Aunties. Though. Greenlight is younger than most of her colleagues but counts.

Tracks, Powerglide, Seaspray, and Crankcase each had a chaotic adventure that resulted them finding love with different species.

Raoul basically gave Tracks a tour around New York City, at night, where the fun shows and Tracks immediately fell in love.

Astoria went on a wacky adventure with Powerglide when the Combaticons chased them around her birthday.

Seaspray fell in love with a mermaid, Alana and it's adorable.

And Crankcase punched Shockwave in the face for trying to experiment on Cons4Eva.

Rewind, Tailgate, and Swerve are best friends and discuss their chaotic love life together. How Tailgate and Swerve fell in live with a Decepticon while Rewind has a bad taste in mechs.

Eject, Frenzy, and Rosanna have girl nights out and have their own fun. Rumble chaperones relunctly.

Tracks, Sunstreaker, Blurr, and Mirage (Knockout, Drag Strip, and Starscream) are adamant on keeping their good appearances and always get a little nasty and snappy if they come back on a mission looking... Messed up.

Lightspeed and Lightbright are BEST FRIENDS. Lightbright loves teasing him about his crush on Afterburner while he supports her relationship with Sparkstalker.

Starscream fell in love with Windblade at first sight. They met before the full war broke out when he, Megatron, Soundwave, Tarn, Skywarp, and Thundercracker visit Caminus to discuss with her and Lightbright’s adopted creators to let them integrate the girls in their noble cause. It was at dinner and during that time, the two were making eyes at each other but after she and Lightbright went to bed, Windblade went down for more energon only do freeze as she overhead a ‘malice discussion’ between Megatron and his men. The rose tinted glasses fell off her face and she immediately told Lightbright, the two were then ushered out by their carrier to make an escape.

Lightbright teases Windblade about Starscream and Starscream gets teases about Windblade by Skywarp and Thindercracker.

Both older siblings get revenge when Lightbright falls for Sparkstalker, Thundercracker catches feelings for Marissa, and Skywarp has something going on with Frenzy.

Sandstorm and Octane grew up together and they two mechs always knew they were IT for each other... But as the war broke out, Octane thinks Sandstorm can do better than him. He was a coward and trouble always found it's way to him.

Sandstorm tells him, that he only loves him. That Octane always done his best to protect him and let's him know when danger was on it's way, giving Sandstorm time to warn his faction on time as Octane unknowingly risked his life for Sandstorm countless times as he only focused on Sandstorm saving him.

First Aid and Streetwise are chaotic roommates.

Ratchet and Knockout both use to work in the same ER at one point, prior to the war. Knockout was the gorgeous doctor that everyone has their eyes for while Ratchet was quite the looker too... She was Dr. Pharma’s favourite. She can't say the same about him though despite he WAS a good doctor.

Knockout met the love of her life: Breakdown in the ER as he came in with a broken arm and immediately he shyly blushed and was so respectful. He had his charms that immediately caught her attention and he listened to every word she said and complimented her respectfully... She fell in love hard.

Mirage grew up in high society and was tired of mechs like her sire and his political/high society friends ruled over and how her sire controlled her life... It was no surprise when she rebelled and ran off to join the war. Good thing she kept her Outlier abilities secret like her dear carrier suggested.

She admired Hound. Seeing how Hound seemed so free, rock climbing, hiking, laughing beautifully in genuine happiness... Primus, she wanted to be like Hound... Though, she excuse the mud.

Jazz and Blaster are beautiful singing sirens that captive everyone. The two girls are simply beautiful and Jazz was once singers at local bars with various admires. Prowl frequented one of them to see Jazz, captivated by her voice, her beauty, her sizzling and sensual movements, the alluring look she gave him... Or he hoped she was looking at him.

His pet ‘bird’ Green loves her too, always landing on her hand or forearm and seeing her tend to his let with so much care and gentleness, Prowl wound up daydreaming a life with her even more.

Blaster pursued a career in reporting, always getting stuck in weird situation with Cosmos, that's how she met Soundwave after he saved her when she put her nose in the wrong place and at the wrong time.

Soundwave mused, seeing this lost and sharp tongued journalist full of sass and charm. Getting her run her mouth as she thanked him and went on and on, noting how smooth her movements were and how her hips turned... She snapped her fingers at him and asked with a cheeky grin ‘if there was something he liked looking at’... First time he caught himself tongue tied after getting caught.

Their cats, Steeljaw and Ravage seemed to have a certain rivalry going on.

Sideswipe is the younger twin sister to Sunstreaker, mischievous and full of fun. Often dragging Bumblebee, Rodimus, Lightbright, and sometimes Windblade for the fun of it. Sunstreaker realizes that he went to war and got a few extra sisters that he is stuck with forevermore. Not that he was complaining as he would kill anyone who harmed them.

Sideswipe and Sunstreaker both grew up to a hardworking but loving sire with a repair shop. Their beloved carrier, a sweet and lovely femme, past at their birth. Sideswipe took the appearance of her carrier while Sunstreaker was very much his sire’s mechling in appearances.

Rodimus is usually recklessly finding adventures outside of base to which Ultra Magnus is adamant she stays put where she is safe... Ultimately going after her and the two get wound up in a crazy adventure.

Greenlight, Perceptor, Nautica, Glyph, Lancer, and Skyfire always know when something bad happened in the lab... Kind of hard to miss since Brainstorm and Wheeljack were openly discussing excitedly on their new experiment in front of them and ask of any of them would like to join them... Hard pass. They sigh heavily with crossed arms or hands on their hips as they walk in to see both of them groaning face first on the floor or dangling upside down on a chair with the lab completely in near ruins AGAIN... Ratchet is never pleased whenever her ex conjunx and his science buddy comes into the medical bay AGAIN but oh well.

Smokescreen and Bluestreak teases Prowl so much about him and Jazz, playfully nudging him. Smokescreen jokingly saying if Prowl didn't take his chance he might so, earning a nasty glare from Prowl. The trio unaware that Jazz heard everything nearby, finally making herself known as she hunters past with a cheeky and coy smile she tossed over her shoulder with the same alluring look to Prowl. Prowl swallowed hard and immediately went after her, while leaving Smokes and Blue feeling hot and jealous.

Inferno and Hot Spot worked together in the same Fire Department. Along with Firestar, Flare Up, and briefly Red Alert.

Inferno often playfully teases Red Alert, making him go red as he tried his best to glare and snap at her but she only laughs whole heartedly and slides off. Seeing that flicker of amusement and fondness, Red Alert always hope she would be back.

Fort Max and Cerebros (his best friends) LOVE teasing him for it. Red Alert and Cerebros had a flirtation but that stopped when Cerebros and Fort Max got together.

Red Alert and Prowl HATE each other. Doesn't help their offices are right across from each other.

Red Alert and Smokescreen never really speak to each other, but Smokescreen was once in love with Inferno, who was unaware.

Bluestreak had a crush on Hound.

Bumblebee is now the baby sister of both sides. Hot Shot and Rumble are the baby brothers.

When Starscream isn't commanding his seekers or going head to head with Megatron, he goes into the lab to do science with Sparkstalker and Bitstream, sometime Sky Byte. One of the few times he can relax and enjoy himself.

Knockout has energon coffee breaks with Moonheart and Glit, the trio becoming great friends as time past on. Spinister and Slipstream sometimes join them.

Knockout and Thunderblast DON’T get along. Nor does she or LunaClub do.

Knockout and Trickdiamond get on easily.

Breakdown and Dead End do feel out of place with the Stunticons, especially when Drag Strip and Wildrider make it hard to work in teams. Breakdown and Knockout share a room as a couple so thankfully he doesn't deal too much with them anymore.

Dead End gets a arrangement to work with the Combaticons and gradually accepts it as to get away from the rest of the Stunticons. (beside Breakdown as they keep in touch)

Moonheart gets heartbroken when she found out about Soundwave and Blaster immediately backed off. Sound wave never knew about her feelings and she wasn't going to embarrass herself... She was found by Blitstream, who sat by her to give her as much comfort as he can.

Lunaclub was SHATTERED when she realized Starscream and Windblade and asks Trickdiamond and Lunaclub “WAS I REALLY THAT STUPID!?” because it was right in front of her the entire time.

Hot Spot has his charm that penchant many ladies... But he doesn't swing that way. Sorry. People did thought that he had feelings for Silverbolt or Inferno but that wasn't the case.

Cliffjumper and Arcee are best friends and he teases her about the beautiful Greenlight.

Arcee and Greenlight unofficially adopted Tailgate as their son and made sure Cyclonus know that he should treat their baby boy well.

Chromia and Ironhide unofficially are Windblade and Lightbright’s parents and made it hard for Starscream and Sparkstalker for getting their blessings.

Greenlight, Lightbright, Windblade, Alana, and First Aid read romance novels and discuss with each other... They share with some of the rest of the ladies and their friends. Sandstorm enjoys them as well as he thinks about Octane.

First Aid likes to read sexy and spicy stuff~

Octane, Swindle, and Trickdiamond are always willing to cause a fun hassle and schemes. Exhaust and Loudpedal often join them as the guys are always in for some extra fun.

Mirage and Sideswipe are friends but Mirage and Sunstreaker CAN’T stand each other.

Blurr has a HORRIBLE love life. Rodimus always finds herself patting Blurr on the back soothingly. If not her, Springer takes over. Blurr simply had a bad taste in mechs or all the wonderful femmes are taken.

Perceptor had a crush on Drift at one point but was left one sided as Drift had eyes for Ratchet alone. She never realized Brainstorm’s feelings as anything romantic until further down the line.

Perceptor 🤝 Silverbolt: OBLIVIOUS to MECHS aka THE LOVE OF THEIR LIFE WHO HAVE FEELINGS FOR THEM (Brainstorm and Slingshot)

Pharma HATES Drift. What DID Ratchet SEE in this GUTTER RAT!?

Bluestreak grew feelings for Jazz too, but Jazz only had eyes for Prowl and Prowl only has her spark alone. It did cost a rift between Prowl and Bluestreak for a while.

Ratchet and Wheeljack are amiable exes and root for each other in their love lives and who they give their romantic sparks to. They had adopted dinobots together, who impronted on them as their parents. Drift cool with it as he and Wheeljack are buds and Ratchet sighs heavily with a tired smile.

Lancer and Arcee hate each other but do look out for each other. Lancer because she still cares for Greenlight and knows how much she loves Arcee. Arcee because though Lancer is the one who hurt Greenlight by breaking her heart, Greenlight forgave Lancer and would be devastated if THEY BOTH did.

Mirage, Blurr, and Tracks talk about fashion... Eventually letting Sunstreaker join them. Blurr is the only one who is friends with him.

Beachcomber, Seaspray, and Hound go on nature expetitions together, the trio nerd out together and later Skids and Alana join them too.

There is nothing romantic between Lancer and Greenlight anymore, strictly workplace relationship that turned into an respectful friendship of sorts. Greenlight’s eyes and spark is only for Arcee and Arcee alone.

Arcee and Chromia trained Road Rage and Tap Out. They tease them about their respective relationship with Nautica and Glyph.

Greenlight, Velocity, and Nautica are best friends who drink together, teasing about each other’s love lives.

Flare Up and Warpath enjoy sparring together~. Poor Beachcomber walked in several occasions that left him flustered.

Vortex and Brawl tease Blast Off about Cosmos, acting like annoying older brothers to him.

WheelJack is friends with Dot and Alex Malto and he is the cool uncle to their seven children.

Sleeping Titans’ conscious take forms within animals. Lodestar takes the form as wolf-dog that follows Lightbright everywhere and if not her, then Windblade or Hot Shot. Then eventually Lightspeed and Sparkstalker.

The Dweller had lured Windblade to possess her and Starscream had to save her as the Titan was looking for any vulnerable City Speaker to capture.

Sunstreaker has this weird… Thing… named Bob that he sort of adopted.

Thundercracker truly fell in love with Marissa when she gifted him Buster.

Kup is adopting all these children as his grandchildren.

Optimus is adopting them as their father.

Lightbright went into war with one sister (Windblade) came out with her sister, three more sisters (Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Rodimus) and three new brother (Sunstreaker, Thundercracker, Skywarp)

Megatron... He is simply going to support them in his way.

Ironhide, Optimus, Wheeljack, and Kup walked some of these mechs and femmes down the altar.

Starscream and Soundwave did the same for their faction.

Are all absolutely SHAMELESS when showing affection. There is something going on between Perceptor and Brainstorm at the moment but neither one are sure yet. Same with Velocity and Firestar, these two are still discovering their relationship. Ironhide and Chromia make you feel like you are watching your parents kiss.

A commission for @pluralsword for the lovely fic Addendum over on AO3, following Arcee on her gender journey! Some snippets are under the cut, including the bit this illustrated scene is from.

The torn metal thread shreds of the Crystal City Messenger newspaper fell from my hands. My body shivered and I felt bellows build up in my voice box unreleased.

“We have truly entered a world of madness- we are dead, dead peoples,” I muttered at my doorstep in the empty residential hallway.

The front-page article and first two sentences ran over and over in my mind. THEOCONOMIST FORM-ESSENTIALISM MADE LAW AFTER TAMPERED PUBLIC POLLS. Nova Prime endorses the theoconomists favoring form over aesthetic and orders the demolition of all aesthetic archives, programs, and organizations in the name of ‘freedom,’ and ‘moving on.’ We write with urgency – because of our reporting over the millennia against the reactionary rise, maintaining of records, and projecting of voices of the decreasing population that still connects to gender or anything like it, we are among the news groups hereby outlawed-

In my wordless scream of frustration and his of terror, I severed his head from his neck and immediately charged towards the door, deflecting the shots and cutting down the handful of bots in front of me, while taking scatter blasts to my back in yells of pain-

Blasts that fell silent as the hauler’s metal screeched and tore from rocket explosions at the front, spinning us wildly. I stood alone, legs bent and jumping about, while the rest tumbled.

I was about to run- Don’t run- and instead began to bear down on each with my blades in rapid succession while I bled. Four stabs through sparks by the time the remaining eleven stood back up in the back corner gravity had left them in, near me, and I sliced through the group’s torsos in four blows with a triumphant yell, as all fell to my blades beyond their experience or technology.

I sputtered, exhaust fumes coming out of my transforming seams in nervousness in my chair in her brightly lit office.

“You can say it, you know it as I do, and we’re here for you, just like people were for me,” she got up from her chair and stood in front of me, her sturdy shoulder stacked frame’s firm graspers towards me. “Can I hold your hands? Would that help?”

“Yeah...” I reached out and held her own, feeling her fingers gently find an easy grip around me. “It’s nice to actually be able to trust a doctor and a friend with understanding me and my body, that of a linked trans gal.”

"Sibling, you shouldn't be here," Galvatron crossed his arms and leaned on the wall. "This is far too dangerous, not in a combative sense, but that of you against the world," He frowned. "Including danger from your supposed patron and protector."

"You mean, the only person who has done right by our kind with any sort of power to protect us?" I stared back. "You showed up now to tell me that? No hug, no gladness to see me?"

“Hang on m’am I’m messaging a medic named Safety he’ll be right over with his team-” Phreaker replied.

I was flabbergasted. “Phreaker!”

“What? Just finished talking to him, sorry about that lady,” Phreaker transformed back and extended an arm. “I’m way smaller than you, but you can barely stand, and you need a friend. Lean on me.”

“Why did you use she pronouns and gender terms that some have associated with women? I haven’t told you my pronouns or my gender or terminology therein,” I stared at his cube of a face.

I spotted recent Cybernought tracks in the direction of my heading. No no no this is bad!! =”ANODE! LUG! Can you read me??”=

I slowed and reached the residue point- there was a crater with a shattered shield staff in the middle, and pink blood everywhere.

I transformed, crouched, and spotted split off pieces of Lug’s chest and torso armor.

“Hey Arcee, what’s up? Surprised to get a call from you after our last conversation,” Windblade’s holodisplay visage smiled at me, wings outstretched.

“I’ve been playing around with Earth mode reformats to choose.” I sent her communications table the file scans of considered alt modes and altered files I had tinkered with. “And actually found some euphoria from the shapes I’m considering, but I realized, I realized I didn’t want to be alone right now for this, I wanted someone who would understand to be present.”

“So, after all these millions of years, after all your labor for a radical revolution and then for survival in the wider galaxy, why in the stars would-” I fumbled over my words, the weight of my title and path of peace pressed on me, as I looked on at Arcee and Windblade, the old and new wiser than me, and both our future. “Why would you, an ancient trans woman anarchist, join up with the Autobots and work as my right hand, and even a commander in my stead?”

“Hey, hey, Arcee, Aileron told us what was happening,” Lug rubbed my back stacks, as did Anode from my sitting position where Aileron held me. “I know it’s a lot sometimes when we visit, and especially the occasion today.”

I let their rubbing and embrace anchor for me a moment, and then whimpered out: “come around so I can hug you- let me try to stand-”

Aileron helped me up, and the four of us hugged close. Lug’s head nuzzled on my waist, Anode leaned her head on my shoulder, and Aileron touched the three of us with her arms and torso. We had a quiet, lovely moment.

“Reading Anode and Lug’s journals again I see,” Prowl sat across from my cell bar’s door. “I have to ask, what do you of all people see in them besides curiosity? A change of spark, historical inclination?”

“It’s how they lived with the resources they had, and how strong they were with so little material,” I turned my head, and put the journal down. “They had in abundance things I didn’t value that only they could make- their euphoria, their companionship, their epistemes, their memories, their family. Resources I lost understanding for their true meaning long ago and am trying to retrace, (rest of quote removed due to spoilers)

Aileron's drippy face looked up at me as Gauge and Sideswipe held her hand, and Ailering, Greenlight, Anodes, Lugs, and Lancer hugged her. "I know we'll be family again too, Windblade..."

"I know we will," I smiled and joined the embrace, letting her chest rest on my head. "I have no doubt."

"Aunty, do you think-," Gauge wrapped an arm around me. "Do you think if our world had been happier- if we had not had 12 million years of empire- that her life would have been able to blossom more than it did? To never have been so alone?"

Okay more of my self indulgent au

Backstory: the war has been done for a little less and Megatron and Optimus dissappear laveing Rodimus and Starscream in charge respectively. This ends up evolving into Starscream, Rodimus, Bumblebee, Thundercracker, Windblade and Soundwave (+Lazerbeak, Ravage, Slugfest, Buzzsaw, Rumble and Frenzy) looking for the missing leaders( Starscream was guilt tripped into this). They find their dead bodies but they don't feel the sparks missing. They're alive but nobody knows where. This leads to an 19 year long adventure where the four eventually make it to earth, Bumblebee and Rodimus end up finding the human reincarnation's first(They're cars it was the easiest option)

Things to Know about the reincarnations

(Megatrons reincarnation dosent have a name yet just character I want to do something that has to do with the fact his name can be broken into Million electron or Erik as reference to magneto and their similar arks)

Megs has a heart murmur and while this does prevent him from getting into fights(the universe couldn't have him fighting again) he makes one hell of a medic and a poet

Megs is the shorter one here standing at 5'6 and he's angry about it

Human Megs is also trans just for fun

I do have collage sports/adult league sports for him to play despite his heart murmur that being Water polo, and Swim (I can play both despite my heart murmur so he gets to too)

Megs cannot pick a major to save his life, someone help him

Human Op his name is Orion, I know really creative there but I saw an opportunity, it was ethier that or like Owen which just feels wrong.

Orion is the taller one in this situation and 6ft

Before knowing about the whole reincarnation thing Orion used to tease Megs about him becoming something like Magento and being a revolutionary and after learning Orion is like "welp, I guess you already did that"

Orion is content going into an English major with a teaching minor to become a teacher or librarian.

Okay this sounds pretty cool!

Lady Arcana Magnus, and the collective that she's associated with therein, which forms of aesthetic variation do you personally find the most appealing or fascinating? Furthermore, which kind of ideal expression do you advise to a queer demimale who has been feeling some feminine aesthetic alignment for some time now, and would thus like to dress or style themselves accordingly? I was told once that I had a certain feminine quality about myself, though back to the core of the question, I suppose I'd love to learn more about your aesthetic experiences in order to learn more about my own potential.

Additionally, in terms of the outer multiverse that you may be aware of, have you ever encountered any variations of Shockwave that were trans, where perhaps learning about themselves and their own internalized biases led them to realize that their present external expression didn't align with what was truly themselves? I suppose I think it would be interesting if a Shockwave was able to better apply her potential in the service of aesthetic liberation :3

For those unfamiliar with compound noun aesthetic assemblage terms originating from bots like us under the umbrella systems of sparktion (Cybertronian origin), hearth (Camien origin), voyage (Velocitronian origin), sedneemet (Eukarisian origin) etc. terminology, some of which we first introduced to this world back in early 2022, we will define in brief in this regard:

Cybertron -sparktion - literal meaning: sparklike assemblage, assemblage of sparks, the seeing of trying to understand one's aesthetic singularity as getting to know one's spark.

Caminus – hearth - an aesthetic understanding from the fire of the person and community, of passion, of forging, of dedication, and the universe.

Velocitron – voyage - the love of the journey itself taken very deeply, considered more important than a long resting point of conclusions.

Eukaris - sedneemet - rock affinity based, specifically the intergenerational formation and changing of shape and composure from many different sources.

In regards to specific aesthetics to me zoomdare reflects a sense of a graceful rush in body and mind, it is somewhat comparable to the sensory re-acquaintance euphoria human bodied people experience particularly from doing hormone replacement therapy for aesthetic reasons, however it is also comparable to the reknowing of oneself and the world in other senses, whether meditation, dance, martial arts, whatever one feels at home and in tempo with, what makes one happy. That is more the zoom side typically, however these definitions are self ascribed, not prescriptive. People such as myself speak to the entwining with the other end of the dare portion reflecting an intrepidness in existing and building on that, and also to carry on and care for ourselves and one another, to protect, create, and deescalate all we can.

As such, for people like me, there is also a bodily component- while a zoomdare can be any shape, say a telescope or microscope bot in the zoom and/or daring of their magnification, or a building bot one with their surroundings and denizens- for many of us it is the altmode shape to soar or flit about or charge or outmaneuver or race or flow that affirms us- for me, being a robust high speed car with some torque and reflecting that in my bot mode shape and my fields of study makes me very happy. Windblade, Anode, Velocity, Aileron, Hot Shot, Trans-Mutate and many more also know themselves with their frames in a similar manner. As a mutualist in attraction, that is to more similar aesthetic assemblages while still reveling in symbiosis of our differences- I find that attractive, and there is a tank Shockwave who fits that profile for me, but we won't talk about her until the end of this post (my understanding is that the feeling is mutual, but we've decided not to act on it. sometimes attraction is just that).

But the truth is most bots of my world feel some affinity to zooming and daring, just as I do to holding, wooshing, booming, clawing, flapping, chords, spinning, flares, seeking, forging, the torque, blazing, plunging, the absences thereof, the whys, the hows, the whens, and where’s and on and on. We do after all have hundreds of thousands of years to have built up an assemblage viewpoint, to know ourselves as compounds of so much. In this way. My realizations of myself created a new kinship with my symbiotic launch tank-alt torquey wooshhow twin sibling Galvatron, for he could see and embrace through me what taking on mutualistic trans zoomdareness would have been like for him.

Regarding torque- it's a way of referring to the rapid build-up and force of momentum of persona and/or euphoria of such in the frame and the ensuing results in contact with the world. It is somewhat comparable to your term “butch” from lesbian and sapphic terminology as one butch lesbian Spacewarp realized dating torquedare Perihelion, however as you can tell from the fact symbiotist Galvatron uses it the term torque, like the rest of our aesthetics, are not mere analogs for gender. They are our own parallel and vastly differing iteration that has some amusing overlaps. Some examples of primarily torque folks include Elita One, Pyra Magna, and Optimus Prime (all torqwhy), Road Rage (torqdare), Cliffjumper, Arr-Cee (a motorcycle bot I am close to), and Catapult (zoomtorqdares), whereason the holding or being held and knowing when to let go ranges from as small as Lug (holddare), to Titans like Lodestar (zoomholddare).

There will always be aesthetic contextualization and iteration, there has been as long as there has been life to experience of it, so at the very least as long as there has been sapient life- and in that sense, will always be around no matter how hard people try to erase it, and even should all life perish, we carry on in love’s memory forevermore beyond the question of physics or gods.

“Prof” Arcee: while my world and that of Arcees you are familiar with use gender, the situation is similar. Our genders are linked to one another, and inform and are informed by alt mode and relation to it. I am a mutualist trans alt modus iterexper gal, so I am polygender in that way, and even in how harsh and tragic my world’s history was, we did still have many beautiful understandings, and though I would not know the word zoomdare until I was very old, we were building towards that framework, for example I did know I liked some torque to me, and this was actually a point of grief since Jhiaxus’s transmedicalist reformat of me in his rigid ideal of a woman and not what I wanted for gender affirmation as a gal, did not take that into account or more accurately ignored it. I would take millions of years to be brave enough to take on robustness again within the shapes I actually wanted.

Regarding your question- I would encourage you to reflect from yourself and the world around you. What kind of gals or femme-spectrum folks do you look up to or aspire to be like? What clothing makes you happy? That will help answer your question. While clothing is not really my thing…

“Arcblade” Danielle Witwicky: if its not tough color schemed armor that allows maneuverability, I like a-skirts and dresses, because I can move easily in them, more easily than pants (not that I’ve worn pants for along time, hard to do as an exosuit cyborg), and I tend towards a stately appearance if I am bothering with clothes. Anything can be feminine if you want it to be, it's just a question of what resonates with you.

“Zoomy” Arcana Magnus: regarding Shockwaves, yes, we know of some who are trans, and some who even though they are not had their own epiphanic cycles entangled with the journeys of other people. The Shockwave I know from my life uses they/them, a zoomdare, is aconjunxic and asensual, and struggles with emotions. They however were raised in a loving community of my world’s Golden Age, that showed them to observe and understand that there is wisdom and reason for a society of mutual aid, consensus, care, and solidarity, and while they may struggle with being compassionate and loving emotionally, the concepts themselves make sense to them, and they know that we love them. There is one entity in the universe they do love dearly, can hug close most easily- their mentee, the brave and sweet gamer Torchbearer errant Strongarm, who they raised on Caminus in the late Golden Age, since they foresaw that world would play such a particular role in the aesthetic Autobot Revolution. Shockwave was a scientist of astronomy, physics, and engineering, but they also intently studied civilian and military strategy, and would go on to serve as one of the strategic command advisors to stratelect Nautica, who advised and coformed much of the strategic planning with Supreme Commander Optimus Prime on behalf of our pluralistic democratic government at the galactic level of the war. It was Shockwave who was the chief architect of the system by system, sector by sector randomized strategem algorithm offensive late in the war that made us unpredictable in our offensive late in the war against the remaining Decepticon sectors, before Nautica led the command of a unified consolidation of special forces interdiction, fleet-scale peaceful penetration, and wave based planetary deployment with direct tactical ground support and in tandem with Decepticon defectors.

It was my personal honor as a Prime and as elected Director of the Anchor special forces and thus one of the joint chiefs to present Shockwave with the Medal of Cosmic Survival, for their algorithm that they monitored and edited with real-time sapient input until conventional command resumed to have so thoroughly mitigated civilian casualties and maintained as primary priority the safeguarding of them above all else in a chaotic situation where we retreated from some regions and made full frontal assaults in others.

I won’t lie. Even with our pacifist military (which we in the brass knew was an oxymoron and were always looking for the day when we could build peace instead of fight to survive) considerations of not engaging in strategic bombing or bombardment of any targets that was not confirmed to be solely a conventional military base or holding with a confirmed lack of civilian presence in or close enough to be collateral, that even with maintaining only use of tactical direct support otherwise and de-escalatory doctrine always looking to find grounds for mutual reparation, restitution, restoration, and reconciliation, people were caught in the crossfire throughout the war even on the infantry scale. Even when the killing usually reached only the target in mind that itself is still a sadness and atrocity. It weighs on my conscience, on all of us. We cried a lot about it, and it’s the whole damn reason Anode and Lug made a plea to both sides to stop because of the sheer amount of trans people, and people generally, who had died on both sides over 500,000 years of war. But that’s a story for another time. Suffice it to say that at least we did not try to declare our cause just, to excuse what we did, and that even though it was the Decepticons who had seceded and tried to coup us with their stratocracy that eventually became neo-Functionist genocidal reactionary totalitarianism and as such eventually had a civil war with those who didn’t agree, that we did not annex them, that we helped to reconstruct democracy with them when all was said and done, and that we repaid all we could for the hurt we caused, just as they did for us.

Shockwave helped with that. They, like me, gave up their rank, helped to rebuild damaged polities by hand, to ensure the traumatized received care, to step in the way of conflict and not return violence in turn, like the peaceful intercessions of old in cycles of violence during the Golden Age. To risk their life as someone working for the dream with their integrated cannon deactivated and stuffed with cyberflowers, working with their one arm, and hauling supplies on their treads. They told me they were happy when, years afterwards, they were instead tugging youngsters along on field trips to the observatory.

"Prof" Arcee: I could talk about the Shockwave of my world

It is my understanding that some Shockwaves do know themselves as trans gals. One such example is a Shockwave from the Tyran Cluster who found her way onto Axiom Nexus after a Spacebridge accident while helping AllSpark bearer Multivalia Prime (Chromia) take down the Fallen in order to save the new forged population of Cybertron from being forced into an army and dying. But because of her pushing for offworlder equality simply because it made more sense than the extractive jus sanguinis hierarchy, she was pushed by bruisers affiliated with the Freelance Police Legion into the Heap, where she joined up with the Unified Anarchists League in trying to make the best of scarce resources through caring for one another and finding joy in resistance- it was in learning to dance and the way of the sword that she realized herself as a gal, and as the bots of her universe could do, simply changed her shape to reflect what that personally meant for her. She rationalized having armored skirt halves like Anode’s that in this case form part of Shockwave’s tank armor because the skirts have pockets, but she did later admit that the moment to moment life and emotive expression her t4t partner Anode had through them is why she took them on for herself. After the post-Shroud revolution that brought a new consensus of equality to Axiom Nexus, I met her via a Multiverse Drive ship that ‘Backpack” Arcee was on, and we shared stories with each other. Shockwave seemed very happy.

transformers is fantastic. you've got the humour in the comics:

the representation is so good as well! there are canon gay couples and a trans lesbian couple too! marriage between two gay transformers is totally normal and it's never the butt of a joke, never made into a huge deal by anyone.

we also have a nonbinary character! acidstorm (cyberverse show) goes between their male and female forms from episode to episode.

"When questioned about this, Cyberverse writer Mae Catt offered an in-universe explanation for the inconsistency, stating that their changing appearance was "just something Acid Storm likes to do," implying the character is genderfluid non-binary. In response to further queries, Catt noted that "pronouns are up to Acid Storm."

there's a canonically neurodivergent character too. he's blunt, struggles with social cues, carries a set of "shapes" with him to help him adjust to unfamiliar situations. he's a respected and highly successful geologist.

anyway to actually ANSWER YOUR QUERY......

i would recommend a show like transformers prime if you’re looking to watch something. it’s very self-explanitory, talks about the war between the autobots and decepticons, and you get backstory on everyone so you don’t have to do a lot of research to Understand what’s going on. it also has some of the best animation in any tf show, as well as plenty of humour, soft moments, SAD moments, and scenes that will make you go WOAGHHGHGHG. it’s a 11/10 in my book. it’s actually probably the highest rated TF show there is if you don’t count G1.

another really really good show is transformers cyberverse. it continues on from tf: robots in disguise (wasn’t as highly rated, it’s not for everyone), which was the sequel to prime. the pros include: each episode is only 10 mins long so its good if you have a short attention span, it focuses on storytelling, and the cel-shaded animation is honestly GODLY. the only issue here would be that you may need to do more Googling to get the premise.

as for the comics, the IDW series is fantastic. the chronological order can look daunting to sort out at first but it’s worth it.

ALTERNATIVELY... you can just do what i did and bounce between shows and comics like a crazy person. i started with transformers animated, then went to the armada anime, and then prime, got into the comics, and then cyberverse. continuity? don’t know her ASBHDFJN

Hopefully we'll do more- but if you are looking for more sword mutuality stories, the orientation terminology we use here is something we originally rolled out in early 2022 in Day of Multiflame, ended up using for ourselves, and intend to use for other fiction we're slowly working on.

When we got a toy of Twitch, it struck us how similar her helm is to IDW Arcee's (especially the WFC videogame/EXRID 2012-2014 frame IDW1 Arcee had) and how she is somewhat like Windblade, and the former had dual yellow swords in the comics while the latter had them with a toy! Unfortunately Twitch can't hold her wing blades easily, we used blu-tack to do that, we might try filing down the back ends near the pegs to be holdable in a 5mm port- but that tack made it look like her blades had hilts... and so we ended up here!

We don't have a WFC/EXRID '12-'14 Arcee done *yet* (actually still waiting on parts) but here is a comparison below so you can see what we mean. Take care y'all! :3

what's the low down on milne. i've never heard anything very specific about how he's acted. when i hear about tf artists/writers that people dislike, its usually either jro or mscott lol

Ok, so you know Hot Motor Oil? The little pinup zine that he's made and sold? It was pretty popular apparently (I have not been able to see almost any of it myself), so now he's making a second one. This time he's giving more previews of what's going to be in this new one on his Twitter. Now it's nothing abjectly horrifying, maybe weird, but not evil (notwithstanding the presence of starscream's head in one of the pages). It's mostly horny in a way that is pretty typical for a cishet man.

What tipped the scale for me was this pinup of windblade with her chest armor off.

To be clear voyeurism isn't my thing, but I respect it when it's done consensually. The intended sexiness of the image he made and posted specifically revolves around the fact that it's not consensual. She's uncomfortable! It even says in the tweet that she thought she was safe to relax! It sucks!!

Another thing that was also pointed out to me after all that, is how he draws Lug and Anode, our canon trans women.

Milne has a compulsion to put silly lipstick lips on every woman transformer (how would we know they were *girls* otherwise 🙄). Oddly, he does not do this for Lug and Anode. Even the poses he puts them in are different from the other lady transformers. I don't know how deliberate that choice is for Milne, but it's suspicious nonetheless 🤔. I highly doubt we will see either of them in this new zine he's making.

I'm not going to say he *hates* women, I definitely won't put him on level with Simon Furman when it comes misogyny or transphobia. But his biases are pretty clear to me 😬

As much as I enjoy Arcee, her character has been changed drastically overtime. I do love her, my trans lesbian badass fighting Queen but the the one I mostly enjoyed was IDW2, Cyberverse, and G1. Prime was okay, I didn’t dislike her but didn’t feel the same spark I felt with the ones above.

I do love Windblade, Nautica, Greenlight, Road Rage, Velocity, Firestar, Lightbright, and Slipstream. Chromia too and Elita One, so I’m glad Elita has a fun badass character in Earthspark.

Thunderblast has some great potential if given the right writer, she deserves the Idw2 Trickdiamond treatment.

TFA Arcee could have been replaced by a sexy lamppost and it would have made no difference. The fact that she's trans in IDW1 is cool... Except for the Furman BS.

There are actually quite a few female Transformers, but they're either super obscure because they're in a story that most of the fandom can't access (if you can't understand Japanese, you're SOL because, from what I can't tell, it's not translated very often), only have short appearances with maybe the short blurb in a handbook, or only exist as toys.

I would also love to see more of the Torchbearers/Rust Renegades. I haven't read much of them in IDW1, but I think Pyra Magna in IDW2 was super compelling (also, thank you, Ruckley, for not trying to give a half-baked redemption arc).

Transformers Cyberverse Life on Earth Profile

Repugnus

Taking more after Rattrap than other Repugnuses in the multiverse, Life on Earth Repugnus is lazy, rude, crass and dabbles in pyrotechnics for celebrations on Cybertron. Indeed he doesn’t seem like much, but he is nothing but loyal to his friends and will have their backs no matter what. Back on Cybertron, before the war, he and his buddies Grotusk and Twinferno indulged in hedonistic habits, enjoying the best of what Cybertron has to offer, they were often found drunk to the gills at various bars around Iacon and neighboring cities. When the Nominus Edict was passed during The Shattering, Repugnus was the most outspoken critic of it because it shut down most of his favorite bars. While he aligned more with Autobot principles, he lingered among the Decepticons longer when Optimus broke away, only joining Optimus when his favorite remaining bar was destroyed in a Decepticon carpet bombing of Autobot territories. He, Grotusk and Twinferno fought valiantly in the hopes they’d get to return to their life of indulgence.

When resources from partners in the Autobot Commonwealth were necessary to continue the War, Repugnus jumped at the chance to lead a campaign through the commonwealth. Prowl saw through it immediately, recognizing Repugnus using it as an excuse to bar hop, but Optimus accepted knowing Repugnus would come through. And Prime was right of course, as Repugnus fought hard to drive off invading Decepticons and delivered the Energon necessary for the Autobots through support of the commonwealth. Prowl was also right in Repugnus used off time to drink himself silly however…

Towards the middle of the Earth campaign, Repugnus’ team found themselves on Planet Furnacia, the molten and volcanic home to the jittery Firebugs. To better cooperate with the hot headed aliens, Repugnus, Twinferno and Grotusk Trans-Scanned Firebugs Beast Modes, abandoning their previous space car, space jet and space truck Vehicle Modes. They fit right in with the Firebugs now that their Beast instincts took hold and became fast friends, helping harvest necessary Energon for the war effort through the GeoNeedle, a device connected to the planet’s core that regulates heat to the Firebugs’ liking and powers the entire planet.

The Decepticons caught on to Repugnus’ efforts and had Bugly’s group, the Pesticons infiltrate Furnacia earlier and when the time was right, sabotaged the GeoNeedle on Shockwave’s behalf, taking all the Energon and rendering Furnacia into an arctic planet. Twinferno helped evacuate flying Firebugs to warmer planets like Planet Phoenix and Planet Florida, but were at a loss what to do with the remaining denizens. Catching wind of Meteorfire’s Alien Hunt about Earth’s rising temperatures, Repugnus went to scope out the planet to help the firebugs out, while Grotusk stayed behind to look after survivors. While Repugnus’ arrival to Earth was a rough start, stress and the lack of a good drink in a while, caused his Beast Mode to take over and set fire to a forest Grahm, Thompson, Maddie, Bee, WildWheel, Scrounge and Teletraan X were camping in. Maddie was able to turn his aggression against some Decepticons who came to investigate, calming him down enough to get things squared away at Furnacia thanks to WildWheel’s Black Block Consortia contacts. Twinferno and Grotusk stayed with the Firebugs to get them acclimated to their new homes, some Firebug colonies settled on Mercury and Venus, while Repugnus stayed on Earth, wanting to help stick it to Shockwave to avenge Furnacia. He grew a taste for Earth soda, and is usually seen drinking it, with Autobots joking he’s fueled more by Pepsi than Energon.

Repugnus took a shine to Maddie, recognizing the little punky fire starter’s penchant for hell raising, and is typically found by her side in his tiny Beast Mode. Grahm and Windblade are very concerned about the little hellion being a bad influence on the girl, but the conflict on Furnacia does seem to have turned Repugnus around somewhat despite his crass behavior.

Repugnus was a common fixture of the Bee Team, always having a sardonic outlook on predicaments and belching high temperature flames in the faces of Decepticons who got in his face.

Besides his alcoholism, Repugnus suffered from Mode Attachment. Ever since scanning his Firebug form, he rarely Transforms out of it, apparently once having to have been coaxed to Transform to help Wheeljack get something off a high shelf because he’s taller than Wheeljack in Robot Mode.

When the Autobots returned to Cybertron to finish the war against Megatron, Repugnus is always first in line in a fight, blowing away threats with his fire breath and powerful claws on the ground or in the sky riding with Maddie in Windblade.

And now for my old starscream idea. Basically just used movie jetfire' origin and transplanted it with Starscream, being an ancient seeker who worked for The Fallen tho he'd be named Ulchtar, scream's pre production name. Tried making a design but never finished

Like movie jetfire, Ulchtar relized what the Fallen was doing was wrong & tried to stop him but Fallen murked him as a result. Sorta. Unknown to him, his spark was sorta still alive & reabsorbed into cybertron itself. Eventually he'd be reborn on a hotspot & remade cold constructed. After that his history would be pretty close to most starscreams, mainly his idw & armada self. Then eventually his old master, the Fallen, would return during events similar to the prime wars trilogy.

Basically the Fallen was released from his prison & tried contacting his old master Unicron by using the Star Harvester on Earth. After finding Starscream, he'd use his powers to "remake" him into Ulchtar and be a more obedient servant & help him on his mission. So yeah, being mind controlled into serving new big baddie but while during the final battle with the Fallen, Windblade & the others are able to get to Ulchtar & he's able to break free while also gaining his true form. After that, I'd thought what'd happened next.

This was before I saw starscream as transfem so i didn't really thought of this being a trans symbolism. Assuming Scream appeared in my version of beast wars, something would've need to happen to him to become a ghost. I guess something like the idw unicron event. Though since he'd be a more heroic character at that point like at the end of idw, it might just be a brief cameo of him quickly possessing Waspinator to make sure the timeline isn't screwed up. So yeah thats far as i can remember.

transformers continuity rambling bc i felt like it sorry

it’s set post-war and Cybertron and its huge moons Velocitron and Caminus are facing an energon crisis bc they’ve all been damaged by the war (Caminus to a much lesser extent but still got problems) so Flamewar decides to wake up a Titan to head to a populated world w energon (which is Earth obvs) and negotiate w that world to get energon from them

oh yeah and the Autobots won, they were the Violent Rebels and the Decepticons were mostly part of the ruling class, the factions split into two when the Decepticons decided the Autobots wanted Too Much Change (it didn’t benefit those who were previously in positions of some power enough). Prowl, Streetwise, Stake-Out are Decepticons. Streetwise defected, and when the war was over Prowl changed his badge to an Autobot one bc “they’re the law now” but he still tries to enforce old laws

Orion Pax gave back the Matrix after the end of the war and went off in semi-exile semi-vacation, Megatron decided to do the same except leaving the fusion cannon instead. Elita-1, Starscream, the Mistress of Flame, Windblade, and Glyph are left in charge (not that the Mistress was ever not in charge of Caminus but well)

Starscream’s a woman btw, ofc, we all know this. a lot of formers will be trans here

main characters are Flamewar, Lightbright (cityspeaker was needed for the Titan which is Lodestar), Clobber (shipwright and emergency shuttle as Clobber’s a shuttle in this), Nickel (doctor was needed and Nickel could get a teleport drive Flamewar needed), Road Rage (Lightbright asked for a bodyguard), and Javelin (useful stowaway). their human companion is Miko and later on Nightbird gets added to the crew

Flamewar recruits everyone by ruining their day in some way (convincing Lightbright and Clobber to help her remove Metrotitan’s fuel tank, effectively murdering him to give the tank’s contents to Lodestar, Lightbright was still Speaking with Metrotitan as he died. Flamewar is a Cybertronian who defected from the Autobots to the Decepticons, Clobber is a Cybertronian MTO that defected from the Decepticons to the Autobots, Nickel is a Veloctrionian who worked with the DJD, Road Rage is a Camien neutral but was the bodyguard of an Autobot cityspeaker during the war, Javelin is a Camien that followed Windblade to the Autobot side of the war as an infiltrator and sniper, Lightbright is a Velocitronian neutral and works as a diplomat. Miko’s a sixteen year old punk and runaway from home, Nightbird’s a murderbot made with cybertronian tech and is a “walking war crime”

yes i perfectly divided the six original crew so there’s two velocitronians, two cybertronians, two camiens, two neutrals, two autobots and two decepticons i like being like this i swear. and then two earth folks

they’re all terrible in their own ways but Clobber’s the least terrible and also Miko bc she’s a child

due to complications w a borrowed teleport drive and a crash landing on Earth, the Lodestar crew decides to lay low on Earth at first bc they’re on Earth illegally now and they’d rather be careful and proper when they establish first contact. then Road Rage and Flamewar accidentally get discovered by Miko and now they have a human daughter sort of (most of them are more like. weird aunts.) who helps them be Robots In Disguise

complications arise when the Combaticons arrive on Earth too

the Combaticons are part of the mercenary faction rather than the Decepticons but when they were hired on by the Decepticons, the name kinda stuck. it’s built into Swindle’s marketing for them now

also everyone except Swindle is a lesbian in the Combaticons he’s just their little guy who does their finances

More complications arise when the earth transformers’ existence is no longer In Disguise and human villains become the bigger threat, also Nightbird gets built, becomes a brief antagonist, then joins the Lodestar crew

tho with their existence revealed they could start negotiating trade for energon so win some lose some all that

i have like a Lot more (i have 35 pages of this in my doc and most of that is written scenes) but i can’t put it in coherently here atm so i’ll end here
