G1 SG au: Some concepts for the Autobot symbol.

It'd always be black and always have a dark red badge or flag in the background. I considered white or silver piping, but i couldn't get cool, clean lines out of nowhere in Paint.Net. I crudely modified the G2 symbol to make the round edges sharp in attempt to make it look more evil, but i'm not sure if it came out actually symmetrical.

The Bayverse symbol looks suitably angry, but idk what that means. Whose the fuck's face is that. Meanwhile the G2 symbol actually looks like Optimus' face, which is why i'm considering it.

Tbh? I feel like the sharpened g2 insignia is the way to go. I can't visually tell if it's symmetrical or not, so I'm gonna go about and say it is.

It's both A. Based on Optimus and B. I think it looks better in black than the bayverse autobot insignia

Uh so Optimus almost got taken over by a symbiote that one time. Idk if this is an actual cross with marvel or if it’s just an homage to venom because of the spider silhouette, but that is straight up a symbiote. Interesting

nah. they're really touchy amicas, tho. probably because im always touchy with my friends and it just kinda rubs off on my art. ravage is my Me character so i do end up giving him traits i have. one of those is being touchy with people he cares about 🤷‍♂️. he's especially touchy with drift as when they were grouped together in the dead end (which is where they met in my brain), ravage spent a lot of hours curled up in drift's car alt with laserbeak and buzzsaw for shelter. that touchy aspect never really left their dynamic.

and besides,

drift/deadlock's candle has always been lit for someone else.

G1 SG au can't have budding because it's based on the G1 cartoon (and sentient transformers were all just be built there, no sparks yet).

But what if i wrote an alternate continuity piece that had SG G2 lore, where SG Shockwave and SG Megatron had a blob baby?

Makes sense why it wouldn't work for G1, but I think it'd have a fair chance for G2!
