Why does it seem like whenever I talk about trauma I or my peers went through, the people older than me (primarily boomers) can’t relate?

Did grooming & bullying & assault just simply not happen to them? Or do they just not realize that’s what it was? Or do I just have a lot of fortunate elders around me? Or do they just not want to tell their story?

everyone warns you about that "scary person" with bpd or npd, but nobody warned folks who have suffered to have personality disorders about the red flags in their future friends and nobody told them that they deserve to be treated not just well, but amazingly.

lots of folks who come out of trauma don't know their self-worth or boundaries and then they're just told that they are monsters for existing which leads folks into unsafe situations or abusive relationships which is not their fault, but they're told it is because they're "difficult" or "not capable of love".

when folks with personality disorders tend to be the most loving people i know and i see so much coldness and red flags from doctors who you're told to trust.

where are the articles that tell folks with complex trauma that they're not difficult and full of love and deserve to have self love and to walk away from situations that hurt them?
