Friendship and Intimacy
A slight update to my personal headcanon regarding Cybertronian habits and relationships, at least the physical stuff.
━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙ ━━━━━━━━━━━━
Even before the war, friendships have always had unspoken rules amongst Cybertronians. There are differences depending on city state, function, and caste. But as a general rule, Cybertronians follow the same sets of guidelines when it comes to close connections.
Unlike organics, Cybertronians do not biologically procreate. Yes, they are capable of cold forging and even creating new life from their own spark if they try hard enough. If they truly feel like fighting against the natural order, a Cybertronian can use technology to go through a similar process to create new life. However, as this is not a natural act and considering there is no biological function that allows for reproduction, there is no instinctual need to have close connections. Cybertronians will travel in groups instinctually if certain criteria are met, and they do have pack bonding abilities, to a limited extent. However, there is absolutely no immediate desire to touch one another, not even in the slightest. Touch is a dangerous thing. For a species that is all but functionally immortal, one of the only things that can effectively kill them is another of their kind.
Their coding recognizes this, and thus Cybertronians simply do not touch often. It is not even a high caste or an Iaconian exclusive mindset. All Cybertronians are not fond of being touched unless it is specifically agreed to by both parties. Touching is dangerous, especially with outliers and various frame types having unique abilities that can make touch even more dangerous on any given day. Generally speaking, the only places a mech is allowed to touch if absolutely required are the shoulders. This is due to the fact that the shoulders are one of the most armored locations on the body, and thus touching there can allow both parties to accomplish whatever must be done without invading the other's space more than required.
This makes friendship and interesting subject.
Touch, due to its rarity, has a great deal of symbolism behind it. Co-workers and acquaintances only touch the shoulders and strangers try not to touch at all. Cybertronians, even once they consider each other friends, can still remain at a distance physically for extended periods of time. But eventually, a sign of trust will come into play through touch.
The closer two mechs are, the more touching is allowed. It always starts small, usually with the servos. It is completely normal for two individuals, regardless of weather their relationship is platonic or not, to hold hands. For them it is a show of trust. By limiting themselves to one arm each and allowing the tactile sensors on their digits to touch, they are expressing trust in the other and their belief that their counterpart will do them no harm.
Regardless of relationship type, individuals move from servos to other heavily armored parts of the other's frame when it comes to touch. It is completely normal for close friends to sit close enough to touch shoulders and legs. Rubbing each other's backs is widely accepted as another form of showing trust. Running digits along arm guards and messing with external kibble is all perfectly normal behavior. These things show the closeness of a pair, and usually the type of touches are unique to every single duo. Romantic partners may begin to get a tad more touchy during this phase, but platonic and familial relationships can do the same depending on the situation.
Usually companionships do not progress past this point of general body touching. Even familial relationships can remain in this limbo for vorns upon vorns if neither party feels comfortable making a move. This is largely because the next step is one that most cannot back out of. Protoform is the most sensitive and easily damaged part of a mech. In order to really show absolute trust, a pair must allow each other to have access to said protoform. This is when things can begin looking strange to other races.
Once a pair have moved to this phase of absolute trust, it isn't at all weird to see them behave in ways that would otherwise appear VERY scandalous to species that reproduce organically. Before the war, Megatron regularly stuck his digits into the gaps in Soundwave's hip plating to touch the protoform there. It wasn't romantic at all, merely a way of assuring that they trusted each other. Jazz was very comfortable sticking his servos into the gaps around Orion's vents to prove his loyalty. Ratchet wasn't all that much better and after so many vorns at war, it is totally normal for him and Optimus to be found in a strange cuddle pile with their limbs entangled and digits in places human would see as very much NOT appropriate.
Touching is a sign of trust, and by the Allspark humans simply do not get it. They read everything WRONG when they catch bots interacting in similar ways. Optimus wrapping his arms around Bumblebee and resting his helm on Bee's shoulder is familial. Ratchet randomly sticking his digits into Optimus's hips is just a fact of life. Arcee periodically sticking her little claws into Bulkhead's various kibble is just their way of playing. Wheeljack and Bulkhead are extra open about being touchy. More than once June has ushered the children away when they get a bit too much for the adult humans in the room to be comfortable.
Touching is a way to bond. Nothing more, nothing less. Humans look and see things they shouldn't. Cybertronians witness a pair who are close enough to allow one another to come near their vital systems.

DEVOTION POST MORTEM
TRANSFORMERS PRIME ONE-SHOT
Summary: It had happened. What Soundwave feared the most had become a reality. What would he do now that he was alone? Now that the only cybertronian he would die for... was gone?
Pairing: MegaSound (Megatron/Soundwave) [Transformers Prime]
Warnings: Major character death, slight mechanical gore (not graphic), blood.
Word count: +1700
English isn't my first lenguage. Sorry in advance for any gramatical error.
Tumblr media
It couldn't be true. This wasn't real.
Soundwave stood in the middle of the battlefield. Energon leaked from his shoulder and injured leg, leaving drops of blue on the ground below the Decepticon.
This battle wasn't supposed to end like this. Clashing metal and gunshots could be heard all around him from the ongoing conflict. Soundwave knew they were losing; beside him a soldier fell dead to the ground with his chest destroyed.
But he didn't react to that or to the screams of his comadres that were succumbing to the Autobots or to the fire that had almost hit him in the head. No, he didn't care about that at all.
Because infront of him, there was the scene he never thought it would ever happen:
Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots and last remaining Prime, holding a sword that was impaling Megatron through the abdomen.
Megatron's arms dropped as he coughed energon from his mouth in a dying breath. Optimus pulled out the sword with quick movement, making Megatron hunch back in pain as the sword sliced again his insides. He wandered around for a few seconds before falling on his knees, looking at Prime with shock and anger in his optics.
Soundwave dropped his own weapon, creating an echo when the metal of his sword hit the ground of stone. It was a dangerous move to make in the middle of a battle, but his mind wasn't focussing on logic at the time.
He rushed in a silent worry to his fallen leader, now laying in the ground as a pool of energon formed below his body. Optimus saw Soundwave approaching, but before he could do or say anything, a group of Vehicons attacked him from behind, forcing Optimus to change his focus to the opponents.
Megatron, ignoring the new overwhelming fire near him, breathed heavily as he turned around to look at the coming robot and his beating rushed when he recognized the slender figure of Soundwave, running to his side. The old gladitor of Kaon opened his mouth, trying to form a cohesive sentence to his most loyal soldier, but the only thing that came out of his throat was energon.
Soundwave kneeled beside him. His head moved quickly form side to side, analyzing the injuries to see what he could do to help his fallen leader, to make Megatron survive this battle.
But there was nothing. His visor flooded with negative answers as he saw Megatron bleeding to dead infront of him; Optimus' sword had destroyed more than met the eye.
He looked at his leader; his visor was black and emotionless as always, but Megatron could read Soundwave's feelings perfectly at that moment.
He always did.
Megatron just looked back at Soundwave and, with his fading force, he managed to grab one of Soundwave's hands that was laying on his silver chestplate.
There were no words between. But a silent plead existed in Megatron's eyes that Soundwave understood perfectly.
Don't leave me.
Soundwave grasped Megatron's hand tightly. He could only watch as the gladiator's spark vanished second by second and the red optics closed slowly. Soundwave never moved until Megatron's chest went cold and with it, his existence in the universe.
Megatron had died.
With a quick change of his arm to the shotgun, Optimus finished the last of the Vehicons that ambushed him with a single but precise shot to the chest; a quick death. He breathed heavily under the mask, tired of the exhausting combat, but turned around, remembering Soundwave running towards his position just seconds before being attacked.
The communications officer was kneeling besides Megatron's body, with his visor laying on the gladiators chest while one of his hands grabbed Megatron's unmoving claws. Soundwave wasn't crying, he wasn't screaming, but his silence carried more pain than a thoundsand words could ever do.
Optimus aproached slowly, transforming his hand back into normal.
"Soundwave" he called. The Decepticon didn't looked back, he didn't even flinch at the voice of Optimus Prime like other Decepticons would have.
But he was listening, and mind started racing, bringing back old memories:
He was working overnight, focussed completly in his job. All the other Decepticons knew that it was better to let him do his job alone; Soundwave always appeared so cryptid to others, that even without saying a word, he made other shiver and fear him.
Except one.
Heavy footsteps approached behind him. But Soundwave didn't turn around; he knew just by the noise who the footsteps belonged to.
"Working late again?" Megatron's deep, dark voice echoed through the empty room. His metalic feet created a powerful and imposing noise even when he wasn't trying to intimidate.
Soundwave nodded, continuing to work on the Iacron codes. The Decepticon leader walked up to his side and stood there; Megatron stared at the screen and then at Soundwave's quick fingers, alternating between them for a couple of minutes before walking again behind Soundwave.
"You are my most loyal and effective warrior, Soundwave" he whispered as he layed his head closer to Soundwave's hearing perceptors. "The last thing I need from you is collapsing out of exhaustion"
Soundwave's hands stopped moving across the keyboard and looked back Megatron. Their size and built was incredibly different, but at the same time, when they were together, it fit like a puzzle.
Megatron stared at Soundwave's visor. He layed his head and both decepticons shared an affectionate headbut. Soundwave felt Megatron's chest purring, deep and slow, like a old but powerful engine from a tank, as the leader moved his head with Soundwave's.
"Don't overwork yourself" Megatron purred before stepping back. "That's an order, Soundwave"
Soundwave saw as he walked away, leaving a warm sensation in his spark behind even after Megatron had left the room.
"I know you were extremely loyal to him, Soundwave"
Optimus voice brought back Soundwave to the present. He still didn't move to look at the Auotobot leader.
"But it's time to change, you know that" spoke Optimus with calmness. His expression changed to something between pity and frustration as he looked at the dead body. "Megatron chose to continue in this dark path that led to his demise... I don't want you to do the same and end like him, Soundwave"
Soundwave's grasp on Megatron's cold hand strengthened. Another memory flooded his mind as the battle around continued:
He was laying beside Megatron. He could feel as Megatron's chest went up and down, slowly, as his leader reacharged.
The Deception army had tons of rumors and myths about Megatron. One of them, is that he didn't need recharging and was fulled only by anger and his constant need of conquer.
But as unstopable and dangerous as Megatron was, he was still just another cybertronian, with the same needs as anyone else. That included recharging from time to time.
Megatron slept in private. He didn't like the idea of being vulnerable in an exposed environment, especially with Starscream nearby. Sometimes, he would just lock himself in his private quarters and recharge for a couple of hours before returning.
But other times, he and Soundwave had a moment of peace where they would lay with each other and recharge as long as they could. Soundwave adored every second that he could spend with Megatron, even if it was just seeing him recharge and feel his spark's beating.
Soundwave snuggled even more close to Megatron, laying his visor on the leader's chest and letting himself enjoy the peace and quiet of the moment.
Back in the present, he was laying his head in the same place, but now the only thing he felt from Megatron was cold and an eternal silence from his spark.
"Soundwave, please..." begged Optimus. "I understand your pain; Megatron was a friend to me once, even a brother... But we must let go now and look into the future of both Decepticons and Autobots"
Soundwave listened to the Prime's words as a brewing anger started to grow beneath his chest:
There he was again, with Megatron. Both were in their alternate forms, flying through the black, empty space around them outside the Nemesis.
They flew with a synchrony that even the most graceful cybertronians back then could have just dreamed of archiving. There was no previous practice or warning needed for them to move in harmony as they danced across the stars.
In one moment, both of them transformed back into their normal forms, with Soundwave floating a little above from Megatron. They looked at each other with something stronger than the Allspark itself.
Megatron extended his arms as Soundwave descended slowly to him. Once he had catched his partner, Megatron laid his head on Soundwave's visor, smiling with his perceptors closed.
"I love you" purred Megatron as he and Soundwave shared the same warm and calmness from their sparks.
They both drifted in space, caring about nothing else but each other's company. That was all what mattered to them at that moment.
"Soundwave?"
Optimus looked at the Decepticon. He hadn't responded or even moved since he had finished talking. The air was charged with smoke and cries of the battle, surrounding both cybertronians. There was now a big puddle of energon below Megatron's dead body.
Then, out of nowhere, Soundwave looked at him. And Optimus, for the first time since he had gotten close to Soundwave, felt daggers of fear as time seemed to froze between them.
Soundwave's silence was charged with something more powerful and dangerous than anger or sadness: Hate.
The Decepticon played a recording of Megatron's voice, a full sentence without other clips that wasn't directed towards Optimus, but made the message clear to Prime.
"You mean more to me than you could ever imagine, Soundwave..."
That was more than enough than any other word that Soundwave himself could have said at that moment. Optimus looked at him, his eyes showing pity.
"Very well, Soundwave" Optimus changed his arm to a sword. His voice carried pain. "I'm sorry"
Soundwave grabbed tightly another weapon that was laying on the ground and both robots charged against each other.
As energon flew around them and the swords clashed in an echo, Soundwave could just think about one thing, having processed everything inside his head:
He would be loyal to Megatron, even if that meant dying with and for him.

Transformers x Humans Are Space Orcs - A Rant
Alright, I’m gonna complain about something I don’t see talked about enough. Maybe I haven’t found the people who do, so if you know em point me in their direction.
Transformers. I’ve been a long time fan. I’ve watched G1, Animated, Prime, Bayverse, RID, Rescue, WFC, and read all of MTMTE/LL, and I’m excited for the upcoming Earthspark. Course that’s only half if not less of all the content, but enough to prove I’m a fan. Love the characters and world building.
But unfortunately, the majority of not all the Transformers canon content suffers from one major factor that is common among entertainment featuring non-human beings: half-assed human characters. Humans described as wimpy little shits (except Agent Fowler from TFP that man has my eternal respect and love).
Usually the only reason human characters are inserted is to create a relatable character for viewers. But the majority of characters are already relatable, so it’s a moot concept I think we can all accept.
But I cannot for the life of me understand why one would have to give up a realistic, interesting personality for a human character, but give the non-human characters everything. Just take the human characters out for fucks sake!
If you’ve read my other posts, you’re aware I’m an avid lover of Humans are Space Orcs. This community is amazing at digging up mundane or strange facts about humans and turning those into shorts centered around terrifying aliens. That’s what I have always wanted to see in a Transformers story.
I hate the constant “don’t step on them, they’re squishy, gross organics, small and fragile, protect like little cute worm” shit. I’m so tired of it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m aware there are some badass human character sim the Transformers canon. But they are so far and few, and even then Transformers characters never give them their due.
And that is a main theme in the entire canon. Technoism, I think it’s called. Racism between inorganic and organic species. It’s a very real and moving part of the plot that I love and hate for its realism. Something that always gets me is how even the Transformers characters that are closest with humans (Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Jazz, etc) still seem to treat humans like little primitive puppies that need their constant protection (this is more prominent in IDW than the more pg shows). And the human personalities don’t help.
The point I’m trying to make is, I want to see Transformers reacting to humans the same way we write aliens reacting to humans. Being confused, scared, in awe or disgust. If someone else doesn’t write it, I will.
Eventually.
I want Megatron to actually recognize humans as a threat. I want him to freak the fuck out when he sees what we can do. I want Optimus Prime to feel a little fear at some human tearing apart a transformer. Somehow.
One idea I’ve always loved is a scenario where a human is mass displaced to be just as big as an average Cybertronian. And they kick ass. They go absolute apeshit like I wrote a character going apeshit over his cat. I want to see transformers understanding just how lethal humans are when you pick on a bitch your own size.
If I get enough requests to do it, I might write it. But I’ve started so much other shit I need to continue, oh mah lawd. I don’t care. I needed to rant.
Thx for coming to my Ted talk.

Can you do a one-shot, Bayverse Optimus, with an adopted human reader. Based on the song 'More than Anything' from Hazbin Hotel?
anon, I am very happy to make this request, I recently finished watching Hazbin Hotel. I have to say I fell in love with Charlie and Lucifer's father/daughter relationship. So I have approached it this way, Optimus and GN!reader!human know each other from one of the NEST raids at the beginning of the second movie. Let's say you were 8 or 9 years old, no Reader hadn't seen it from age of extinction to the last knight. Reader had 22 years (more or less)
youtube
You are part of who I am
Bayverse Optimus Prime x GN!human!reader (adopted)
Words : 2,056
Summary: You had created a proposal for an alliance of humans and cybertronians but not many agreed. You didn't have much means until you had no choice but to call your father. Based in 'More than anything' of hazbin hotel
Warning: g/t fluff and angst, confort, mentions of death, happy ending and surprise
Tumblr media
Y/N was so close to being able to make a dream come true, peace between the two species…. It could be done, it was done once it could be done again. Those days when Y/N missed meeting with the Cybertronians but despite having saved the world. Earth and Cybertron would be side by side.
There was quite a bit of disagreement about forming an alliance again, there was a lot of chaos and destruction in Optimus' absence when he went to find the creators. Trusts had fallen but at least a few could help Y/N…. Cade, Shane, Tessa… Some former allies returned Simmons and Lennox. Diplomacy was in the doldrums… Cogman gave you some advice.
-Miss Y/N you must not give up, you are close to being able to have an audience with your leaders.
-But the proposal is no good to them… They need more proof - said Y/N preparing more photos and documents.
Cade was watching more documents while he sighed - Y/N, I think it's about time you ask for help to… him
Y/N folded its arms, it sighed, it hadn't seen its father for a while, he was busy with the reconstruction of Cybertron. He hadn't had time to talk to you, nor had you had time to talk to him. You didn't want to bother him, since you wanted to accomplish this on your own.
-I will find a way…
Cogman was already on the phone - Lord Prime, we need your… - Cogman said as Y/N took the phone from him.
-Hey dad, how's it going? - Y/N said trying to be calm.
Y/N could note her father's deep baritone with some joy.
-It's been a long time since you called me, what's wrong?
Y/N sighed again as he sat up seeing that Cogman and Cade were looking at him to move forward talking.
-You see… We have a proposal for an alliance like we did with NEST. I would need your help
-No… - Optimus said seriously.
Y/N felt his heart break a little, he thought at least his father would be there to support the idea but he didn't give up.
-But Dad you did it with NEST once. Don't you remember those times? Wouldn't it be best for both worlds if we joined together?
Y/N heard Optimus growl on the other end of the phone.
-Not a very good idea, Y/N, I know what you want to do, but… You shouldn't get involved in something you can't control…
-But Dad…
-No, it's my last word, if you'll excuse me, I have to…
-NO! If we talk about this in person, you will see what we have accomplished here. Please - Y/N said a bit desperately.
If Optimus Prime denied this alliance then there would be no hope and TRF or a group like Cementery Wind would be back again. It didn't understand why Optimus didn't agree with the idea or that it was in charge of the agreement. It also knew that her father wasn't the same since Quintessa brainwashed him. He had been self-conscious as well…
Y/N knew that Optimus always overprotected her but Y/N was no longer a child in fact she is an adult. If she was going to argue her point she was going to do it any way she could.
-All right, I'll come talk to you this afternoon," said Optimus as the call was cut off.
-That was a good development, Miss Y/N," said Cogman as Y/N leaned her head on the table.
Cade walked over to her - You just need to reason with him. Understand that as a father he also wants to protect you
-Cade, no I'm a child…. I want this world to live in harmony both species we have a lot to give. You know that as well as I do - Y/N said as Cade stroked your head.
Cade was with father to Y/N too, he had helped Y/N since Optimus left almost raising you as if it was also his child as well as Tessa and Izzy the new addition to the family.
-You still hold your optimism well, but you both have been through a lot. You will still be his child in his eyes
-Optics - said Cogman correcting him - Miss Y/N, surely if you see all the progress we've made…. Accepting some bots with humans.
-I don't know if Crosshairs along with Shane is a good idea…. I've had to keep the officers at bay - said Y/N.
-Don't think about it they are still trying to improve…. Look for example: Hot Rod and Vivian were getting along very well since the incident - said Cade trying to cheer her up.
-After kidnapping her at first, sir - said Cogman as Cade slapped his hand to his forehead.
Y/N stood up as Cogman and Cade got into a debate. Y/N went to communicate the news to the rest of the bots and humans.
Y/N was starting to have a lot of doubts about it, besides how were going to handle it, she looked at the autobot pendant he gave her. It couldn't give up now.
Hours later…
Y/N had prepared every bot and every human above all that Hound, Crosshairs would not approach the weaponry or try to disturb Cogman, last time there were several problems in this regard.
Cade saw that Y/N was pacing around as Izzy approached excitedly.
-She looks very nervous, she should be excited," said Izzy as she approached Y/N.
Cade took the papers away from Y/N to concentrate on the people around her.
-It would be all right, little bell…. You just have to be calm…
-Lord Prime is already entering the place," said Cogman.
The unmistakable entrance of Optimus with all the bots and humans watching him talking to him. It reminded Y/N of the old days in NEST talking to Ironhide, Ratchet… But now… he was more apathetic, more subdued.
-Lord Prime we are honored to have you in our little haven. It has been in collaboration of some bots….
-Mostly my workmanship - said Hound proudly.
Y/N approached as he watched Optimus kneel down -Welcome to Omega One shelter, we give shelter to both humans and any type of Bot that wants to establish communication with humans.
-Mostly Autobots… If you bring Decepti here….
-Crosshairs, kid, the official visit better be made by the daughter," said Hound, pushing him away.
Y/N nodded to Hound as Crosshairs being around could spoil the occasion so he would do whatever it took to make sure it didn't go wrong.
Y/N showed the facilities showing all the collaboration… The energon supply, food, the electrical system with energon created between Cade and Brains. The houses although of enormous size adapted to the different sizes of the autobots and humans. Which seemed curious once you got to look at it.
-We want all this to have more zones… The alliance would not only help humans, it would also help cybertronians who need to stay on Earth," Y/N said as he sat in a sitting area with Optimus and Cade.
-We have considered all possible measures with the Autobots….
-Have you considered the remaining Decepticons? Several of them are in Human Security cells, plus we can't ignore the fact that Megatron is still at large… There are Autobots who after the treatment of the humans over the years do not want to agree to this deal - Optimus said seriously.
-We have considered having a trial conducted by you and some Autobots… Dad, some Decepticons may change… Brains and Wheelie are the example. I know it will cost to change the minds of people and Cybertronians - said Y/N with all the feeling in his voice.
-The trial would see it as fair, but some Decepticons can try humans and vice versa. With the battle of Chicago - said Optimus seriously while clenching his fist.
The Battle of Chicago was the decline of the alliance leading to runaway situations of all… Of the loss of many autobots among them… Ratchet and human casualties with that of… Sam. Y/N hadn't commented much on the subject with him or Bumblebee who keeps remembering his friend with brother.
-But we can't fall into those mistakes, we can do better," Y/N said as Optimus frowned while Y/N folded his arms.
Cade was seeing that the situation was getting too complicated for them to talk to each other. Besides, it was something more serious that they needed to talk to each other, so he walked away, leaving them some space and taking Cogman with him who was watching in the distance.
-I'm sorry, Y/N, but this idea is not going to work," Optimus said, standing up and dropping his commanding tone.
Y/n saw what he was doing closing in again, creating a wall as he had done before.
-I can't abandon them… If we don't make that deal the chases will come up again," said Y/N as Optimus turned his back on him.
-I made a mistake in creating that alliance…. - Optimus said as he left.
-Meaning finding me was a mistake? - said Y/N making Optimus stop in his tracks - You remember that moment…. My family died because of a Decepticon… I had no one else. And you decided to take care of me, even though we are not of the same blood.
Optimus turned around and knelt down in front of Y/N looking her in the eyes.
-I couldn't just leave you there, you were such a pure and sensitive soul…. I tried, little one… I don't want them to destroy you like they did me. You're the only thing that makes me stay…. - Optimus said with a broken voice as Y/N touched his cheek.
-Dad… I always admired how you did things, being strong yet kind enough to both humans and autobots and even the Decepticons. You were my source of inspiration for this alliance. When you left to search for the creators I tried my best to find a way to help…. I thought I would never see you again, unless your legacy lived on among us," Y/N said as tears welled up in his eyes.
Optimus went to wipe her tears with his digit - Y/N… I… my little one - said Optimus as he lifted her up and brought her closer to her chassis - I have had a hard time, the brainwashing made me think several things among them what would happen if I fell again and hurt you… I could not forgive myself. You are the best thing that has ever happened in my long life, I can't lose that innocence of yours…. Though you have become a warrior.
Y/N I look at the optics - We'll make it work this time, you won't lose me so quickly…. You see I'm not alone. I just need your support is all I ask - Y/N said as Optimus squeezed him closer.
-I missed you in my arms and your little smile," said Optimus smiling.
Y/N saw a sincere smile, something it haven't seen in a long time in its presence -…. Thank you for adopting me that day…
-Thank you for changing my life that day," Optimus said as he held you in his arms for a while longer.
Y/N stayed closer to him despite all the difficulties they had, Optimus will continue to be a part of her life as she is in his.
While not too far from where they were….
Most bots and humans with tissues in hand watching and hearing what they were talking about thanks Cogman.
-Just beautiful, they have opened their hearts," said Cogman as Izzy grabbed a handkerchief.
-You know that if they both find out they're going to kill us, right? said Hound as Cade nodded.
-Yes, we'd better not say a word, otherwise we don't want anger from both of them," said Cade with a smile, looking at the picture and remembering his daughter.
It didn't matter if she was human or cybertronian, this was the proof of a coexistence of cybertronians and humans.
Caring for each other.
More than anything.

The Fan Continuity that I’m trying to work on is still on my mind, and while I’m still planning out a lot of stuff for it at the moment, I’m going to go ahead and talk about some of the characters in it.
Technically, everyone is around in this- or, nearly everyone at least, but I can’t focus on all of the Cybertronians. So, most of the character stuff that I’ll be doing for this is more for the ‘main’ Cybertronians in the Continuity.
Each all have their own little things going on, aswell.
Optimus Prime: They/Them/Themself, He/Him/Himself, (FtM):
Optimus Prime, originally Orion Pax only a short while ago before being made a Prime thanks to the Matrix of Leadership, resides on Earth as the leader of the Autobots.
Still processing the recent death of their Conjunx Endura, Elita-1, the new Prime grows protective of his Autobots, while promising that he’ll stop Megatron, and make sure that nobody else suffers.
Rampage: It/It’s/Itself:
Rampage (or known by X to some), used to be held in an old facility in another Universe, before it took a chance, and escaped—both the facility and the Universe, after running through some sort of portal.
Shortly after appearing in a new Universe, it runs into Transmutate—who doesn’t seem all that like the one from its original universe—but also seems to have gone through a similar situation.
Teaming up, the two stick together, all while having to worry about certain people from both of their original Universes who want them both—one more than the other.
Transmutate: She/Her/Herself, It/It’s/Itself, They/Them/Themself:
Transmutate was originally held in an old facility—where they had been created. But, when something happens, she takes the chance to escape the facility—and the current Universe (which, it only figured out after—it didn’t think the portal could do that).
After appearing in this strange, new Universe, it runs into Rampage, who seems somewhat different from what little she knew of the other one. But, just like them, it seems to have gone through a similar situation.
Teaming up and sticking with Rampage, Transmutate worries over... a lot. Not being able to control certain abilities. The people who created them—who consider it ‘unfinished’ coming, and worrying over its new friend.
Wheeljack: He/Him/Himself, She/Her/Herself, They/Them/Themself:
Wheeljack, one of the most well-known Autobot Scientists... although their inventions do tend to malfunction—and one of the only few that happens to be on Earth with the rest.
Although they stick around and assist the others when he can, and spend time working on inventions, the scientist has some... problems, that they have been trying to fix.
Shortly after arriving on Earth, Ratchet and the Dinobots went missing, with her making it their mission to try and find them all again—all while dealing with an unfortunate change to herself that happened during an encounter with a Decepticon that he’s trying to hide.
Censere/The Necrobot: They/Them/Themself:
Censere... or as nearly every Cybertronian knows them, The Necrobot—someone who seems to catalogue the deceased—but also thought to not exist, as they are never exactly seen... but they have a good reason to not want to be.
Residing on Earth, a young human manages to spot them when they were listing someone off. At first, they thought that would be it—but, the two continue to see each-other, and eventually, they start talking.
It seems like, now, they’ve got a little human buddy.
Krok: He/Him/Himself (FtM):
Krok, a Monoformer that’s haunted by events from his past (which, leads him into seeing... spirits?), and the leader of the small group of Decepticons called The Scavengers. Years before everyone else, the mech first met Spinister, after he was repaired by the surgeon.
His time with all of them has been... chaotic, for sure, but it quickly becomes worse when, after a visit to someplace, the Scavengers discover that they’re being tracked, and none of them know the reason. Among the pursuers, is someone from Krok’s past.
Spinister: They/Them/Themself, It/It’s/Itself:
Spinister, a rather strange (in everyone else’s optics) surgeon, who, years ago, ran into Krok when the Monoformer was severely damaged. From what or who? It didn’t know—but it had been rather focused on fixing him, and never left after those events.
Out of all the Scavengers, Krok seems to understand them the best... but, that doesn’t mean that it’s still a mystery—there are certain things that Spinister is keeping a secret, that it doesn’t plan on telling any of the others.
However, one thing that isn’t a secret, is how it can see the spirits that hang around Krok—surprising both, and even the spirits—yet the rest can’t see what these two see and hear.
Misfire: Any Pronouns:
Misfire, a flier who... doesn’t really remember much of anything, and they aren’t all that sure on the reason why. They do, however, know that they happen to be a rather terrible shot... as everyone discovers that rather quickly.
She’s the newest member of the Scavengers, the others having met him and vise versa when the flier got into some trouble at a small bar, before quickly joining them all.
Misfire isn’t too worried about what they can’t remember, among other things—he’s sure that it doesn’t mean anything, that nothing bad happened, or that nothing bad is going to happen because of any of that.
...Right?
Crankcase: No Pronouns:
Crankcase, a Pilot, who before joining up with the Scavengers (being the third to join), used to work for... someone—the Decepticon won’t explain or reveal who it was to any of the others, claiming that it doesn’t matter.
In fact, the only things that the Pilot has revealed, is just that the ‘someone’ was another Decepticon—Crankcase didn’t like working for whoever it was, and that before leaving, that ‘someone’ was the reason for the rather nasty head wound.
Despite the head wound, Crankcase seems to be fine... at least to the others at a first glance, but the Decepticon is far worse. The Pilot has far worse damage—some involving around the head wound, and other, internal damage that the pilot is just starting to realize.
Fulcrum: He/Him/Himself, They/Them/Themself:
Fulcrum, a Decepticon who... isn’t all that sure on what he was doing in an old, seemingly abandoned, lab—which was where they also happened to meet the Scavengers—being the fourth to join.
Unlike Misfire in the future, Fulcrum knows everything, nothing happened to their memories, they just... aren’t sure what they’re doing in this lab—and they can’t remember their time in it. He feels weird, he can no longer transform, among other... much more unfortunate and concerning details.
While dealing with the chaos of being with the Scavengers, he slowly starts to discover the truth as to why he was in that lab....
This isn’t everyone, but it’s at least a few of them.

Hi thank you for the ask! sorry it took me a while to get to this one I haven't been able to watch the entirety of Earthspark and I was trying to figure out how to tackle this ask.
Tfp Optimus Prime: Optimus is surprised at the though of Terrans existing. He didn't know that earth was capable of creating techno beings with the aid of an artifact. he's glad to know that about the possibility of a new generation.
Tfp Ratchet: Ratchet is shocked to learn how the Terrans came to be. he want's to learn their anatomy in order to help them if they get hurt. he doesn't whole heartedly agree with training the Terrans to fight but understands the necessity of it.
Tfp Megatron: He doesn't like the fact that they were born on earth, in his mind even if they where brought to life by a cybertronian artifact the Terrans shouldn't be treated as the next gen of cybertronians. Megatron does however want to learn more about the artifact that brought them to life.
Tfp Soundwave: The Terrans remind him of the mini-cassettes. He would want to hurt them on purpose and has come up with a million different ways to trap the Terrans just in case they were to try to help fight against him.
Tfa Optimus Prime: He wants to know more about the Terrans and how they work. He's glad that the Terrans are being trained to defend themselves because it never hurts to be careful. Optimus would end up taking a big brother role if given the chance.
Tfa Prowl: Prowl is fascinated at the Terrans existence he would ask questions about their anatomy. He want's to learn everything there is about them.
Tfa Megatron: The Terrans remind him of sari due to their techno appearance and their understanding of things that comes with being born and raised on earth. he would attempt to capture them and teach them the Decepticon ways.
Tfa Blitzwing: They are smol in is optics and he would love to mess with them. but unfortunately unless he's supervised Blitzwing isn't allowed to interact with them. Blitzwing thinks it's weird that the Terrans were made on earth he doesn't understand how that's possible.

Do you have any favorite headcanon about cybertronians culture or "biology" you like or would want to use in your writing?
HMMMMMMMMM Interesting questions. Sorry for the ramble, I hope it makes sense but it really got me thinking. This became less headcanons and more just a rant fdkjvbefjvskndjnfjfdknvkjasvfn
As far as culture, I like leaning into what's been established a little.
Example: I like the fraught nature of Velocitron prioritizing speed and creating a system that revolves around it. I'm pretty sure the extent of it discussed is political, but I think it would also stem culturally (and maybe it is in the comics but I haven't gotten there yet).
Music having faster rhythms and beats, childhood games centered around racing, courting rituals based on showing off your speed or racing together.
And on the flip side, Velocitron does devalue slower, bulkier bots which creates this caste-type system. I like the idea of those mechs having their own culture, which is stemmed from their physicality but also their political situation of being outcasted.
Like, since Velocitron is all about who is the fastest, I think an interesting cultural attitude is created where you are constantly trying to be better than others, but if you are already limited being able to go fast, proving you are better isn't as important when society tells you differently. It shifts the value of the Importance of Self to the Importance of Community. That in itself creates a shift in culture.
Not to mention the ADA Compliance angle of there are areas of Velocitron that just have structures that allow for bigger, slower bots. I think I wrote something along the lines of Breakdown complaining that going to a convention medic on Velocitron as a bigger bot often ends up with misdiagnosed problems because they are so focused on the idea that you must be fast and smaller that they offer reformatting without looking at what the root of the problem is. (I know many fat people have this issue of doctors suggesting "losing weight" when addressing medical concerns without digging in deeper which is bullshit but aside from the point).
A SIDE THOUGHT: I would love to read (or maybe write???) Cybertronian folk stories/myths. I think that would be a fun avenue of culture to explore. It would be a way to delve into multiple aspects of culture and each city and colony would naturally have different ones or even rival ones. For example, taking the Velocitron culture into consideration, there could be conflicting folk stories alla a tortoise and hare situation. Speedy, conventional mechs would have a story framed around the "hare" being the winner where a slowly, bulkier mechs would have it framed around the "tortoise" being the winner. Idk i think that is so cool and interesting and gahhh.
BIOLOGY THOUGH x---x science was my worst subject in school already and i struggle with anything related to it. Writing such topics is a fun challenge but very difficult for me to broach, especially when we add mechanical components into it. I am writing a fic with the basis of scavenging the parts of deceased/offlined mechs and using them to rebuild another.

Hi hi! I’ve been reading your smokescreen stuff and I had a thought. Specifically, a thought for a sort of, alternate version of the early crash AU. Smokescreen crashes early, but he crashes in the middle of nowhere and is damaged. He goes into stasis for a while, and when he wakes up the only system he can use is his holoprpjector. (He’s also stuck, buried deep underground in the middle of the Nevada desert, so that’s no fun either)
But he has his holoprpjector, and spends the next several decades just…vibing around Jasper. Then, he meets Jack. And they’re roughly the same age, so they hit it off. (Tho Smokes always has to explain why he doesn’t eat, or drink, or seemingly use the bathroom, and all kinds of other fun excuses to keep Jack off his trail). But then the Kids get involved with Team Prime, and suddenly Smokescreen is being confronted with Cybertronians for the first time in decades (possibly even for the first time in centuries).
And now he just has to figure out how to tell the bots what his deal is. (He doesn’t like being buried and may or may not have developed an intense claustrophobia.)
OOOOOOOOOOOO I REALLY LIKE THAT 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
I hope you don't mind but my brain went kinda insane with this thought and low key came up with a mini fic plan for it so-
just. Smokescreen slowly fitting into the little human society built above him. Going to their schools, working their jobs, living their lives. Maybe the first few times he lives the lives, he isn't perfect. He'll slip up and forget certain details about himself, or he'll be a bit too fast or strong and in such a small town rumours spread quickly
In his first lifetime as a human, Smokescreen kept to himself. He acted the way he always did, but kept to himself and watched from afar to learn more about humanity. He enrolled himself at Jasper High, got a job, bought a small apartment to call his own and did his best to ignore the pointed rumours and whispers from behind his back. For as amazing as humans could be, at times they could be just as cruel as the bots back home
it's a lot of stumbling and learning and making mistakes and he doesn't have any friends, but it's a step up to being alone in the quiet dark of his stasis pod, so he'll take it. He lives through his human's life, working, creating, starting hobbies, and so much more. The freedom to do things just for the sake of doing, of being allowed to pursue any job he chose without legal limitations, of being able to draw and paint and sing without countless rules and segregations preventing him....... it's freeing in a way he didn't know he'd been restricted
his 2nd life went much smoother, with a lot of the Nuances Of Being Human having been figured out. He had some difficulties "faking" his death since driving off into the desert with all his belongings then returning in the same vehicle with the same belongings would raise more rumours than he'd like to deal with, so he ends up packing all his important things and trinkets into boxes, gets a moving company to take them away, "dies" (he just messes with the settings on his holoform and waits for his body to be buried/cremated before dissipating it), moves in a few weeks later with a new identity and has the same moving company bring his stuff back
his 3rd life was more of the same, and not a whole lot stood out. He socialised better with other humans, but most of the bonds had had were kept at a bit of a distance. The fact he couldn't go super far from Jasper severely limited his hang out options since it's not exactly the entertainment capital of the world, but he makes do
his 4th life was actually cut short, which he's endlessly salty about. He managed to make it to his late 20s/early 30s, and this time around he wanted to experiment a bit. Specifically, he wanted to try street racing. Human cars were really starting to get interesting, and he wanted in. It had been far too long since he last raced, and while he wasn't going to be the one on the road, being behind the wheel was the next best thing. And he's damn good driver too, one of the best in the circuits around Jasper, and he dominates the local races for years
........but yeah it doesn't go so well in the end. Smokescreen's avatar ends up getting into an accident, one that he'd definitely not be able to get away with survival and ends up having to cut things short. It was a mad scramble in the next few days to get his stuff somewhere safe, and he unfortunately wasn't able to get all of it. It took him almost three months to cool off enough to make another human. It's was..... definitely difficult recognising so many people with them not recognising him, but he managed
but then something interesting happens nearing the end of his 5th life
Smokescreen had gotten some new neighbours. That in itself wasn't anything new, he got new neighbours all the time. They were a young couple freshly married and nothing that really garnered extra attention. Smokescreen did end up running into the wife at the grocery store a few times, and that's how he ends up learning her name
June Darby
he sees her around a few more times and they make pleasant conversation. At times, Smokescreen thinks they might even be friends, but he's hesitant to put a label on it It's been so long since he's had a friend, he doesn't want to scare her off
and things are nice. They talk over coffee and walk through the park together, enjoying each other's company. June tells him about her life and Smokescreen tells her about his human one. They have fun, laugh, make jokes, and when June gets pregnant Smokescreen is ecstatic to meet the kid
but then...... then things took a turn for the worst
Smokescreen had never liked Mr.Darby. He had his suspicions, had his gut feelings, but never had anything other than that to go off of. He doesn't even know what about the man made him feel so uneasy, just that something about him, about how June would take every opportunity to get out of the house, about how she always looked so tired in a way medical school couldn't explain.......
everything comes crashing down one night. At 11pm he hears yelling outside his house and frantic banging on his door. He's on his feet in an instant, and he's horrified what he sees
June, crying and shaking with a bruise on her cheek and Mr.Darby trying to drag her away
in that moment, Smokescreen forgets he's supposed to be a frail old man and punches him so hard the man's jaw shatters
June spends the night with him. He gently guides her to the guest room and keeps watch all night. Sleep was simply a formality at this point, one he was more than willing to forgo for her safety
it was easy enough to get Mr.Darby to back off. Smokescreen had accumulated quite the fortune over the (technical) generations he's lived on Earth, especially since the food and water bills he paid amounted to almost nothing, and it was more than enough to pay for any legal fees to get the man arrested and evicted. June was of course still very shaken up from the whole ordeal, but Smokescreen doesn't hesitate to let her know she's welcome for as long as she'd like
and then June just kinda...... never ends up moving out. The trial kept her on edge and busy, then she had to get caught up on all the schooling she missed, then Jack was born, and while she always intended to move back it just...... never happened. And it wasn't like this was a bad thing, Smokescreen's home was more enough for the three of them, and neither minded being roommates. It was...... honestly comforting, having someone there
but Smokescreen knows he's running out of time. That he's only going to be able to realistically be around for so long before his age will start to draw attention, and as much as it kills him to abandon June and Jack he doesn't know what to do
so he stats planning for his next life, more than he has for every previous one combined, and for the first time, he decided to tie these two lives together
before, he always avoided any relations at all. It could become suspicious and lead to people poking their noses where they don't belong and asking questions he wasn't prepared to deal with. But….. he couldn't stand the thought of being forced to watch June and Jack from the sidelines. Of them not knowing him in his next life
it had been a few years since everything had gone down when Smokescreen finally puts his plan into action. The plan had been to tell June he needed to take care of some “Family Business” he’d thought was taken care of before his time ran out. That he wasn’t sure if he’d be back, he could feel that he was running out of time, but that no matter what he loved June and Jack
Jack was 7 years old when he said goodbye, and that memory would be burnt into his brain for the rest of his life. How Jack clung to his pant leg asking him not to go, how June's eyes got so big and shiny and how her hands would shake. It tore his spark to pieces to see them like that, and it just convinced him further
he left almost everything he had to the two of them. Aside from a small box of his most personal and important things, he left everything else to June in his “will,” including the house and all his money, which she at first tried to reject but Smokescreen was stubborn and insisted
And then he gets in his car with a tank full of gas and drives far off into the desert
it takes 3 weeks before he comes back, and it was the longest 3 weeks of his life. He wanted to rush back, wanted to be with June and Jack again and he was worrying himself sick over what could be happening to them, but he forced himself to wait
In his 6th life, Smokescreen is the most honest with himself he’d ever been since his 1st life. His holoform is what he thinks is comfortable and he makes himself as young as he can get away with (a newly 15 year old) because he wants as much time as possible with the two. His personality is who he truly is without any politeness or experimentation because above everything he wants to be as open and honest as he can with these two. He starts thinking of ways to describe his life, his Cybertronian life, in a way that would fit as a human because he wants them to know him, not a puppet he created
When he shows up in Jasper things…… go as he expected. Driving up in his “old” car definitely got some whispers and June’s suspicion was almost painful, but well within everything he planned. Smokescreen was ready to play the long game for this, anything it took to be a part of their lives again
he claims to be his previous life's great-nephew. That one of his grandparents and his old life used to be siblings, but had a falling out leading to his old life moving to Jasper and cutting all contact. A few weeks ago, Smokescreen had reached out to his "great-uncle" since things with his own parents weren't....... going super great and his grand-uncle was really the only family he felt would be sympathetic. However he over estimated just how much his grand uncle was willing to do for someone he didn't even really know, leading to him recommending Jasper as a place to stay and driving all the way to where he lived to give him his car
he also mentions that his grand uncle had talked about June a lot in the days before he died, and he could tell he really loved her (not in a romantic way). He'd already said his "last goodbyes" weeks ago, and while he did make sure they knew how much he cared...... he still feels like he hadn't said enough
after things slightly calm down after that, Smokescreen then gets ready to leave. After all, he's still technically a stranger to them and he's already accomplished his goal of making contact....... but then June insists he stay the night. After all, he's a 15 year old and she can't in good faith let him sleep in his car when she has a perfectly good bed available
reluctantly he accepts, but makes it clear he's going to make plans to move elsewhere. After all, this is June's home now and he doesn't want to intrude
.......but just like when he first took June in, his moving out never happens. He ends up being enrolled in school, babysits Jack when June's shifts run longer, help prepare food and before he knows it, they've become a family once again
a few years later when June asks if he'd like her to adopt him he nearly cries
from here, my thoughts are a bit more scattered. I have a couple misc ideas which I'm not fully sure how to go about but want to include somehow:
after he graduates this time, Smokescreen ends up working at the library for both a change of pace and some nostalgia, and he's really good at it
when Smokescreen left his 5th life, he gave Jack a little pendant he'd made some years back with Alpha Trion's symbol on it. Sort of a way to remember him by, and Jack rarely takes it off. It's eventually noticed by the Bots which sparks a bit of curiosity about Jack's older brother
Smokey is just as much in the dark about the Autobots as June is, however he'd had suspicions for it longer. Not specifically Cybertronian Interference, but defiantly that there was something going on
during the whole MECH Thing, Smokey ends up getting kidnapped in the house. However, things don't go as planned because Smokey isn't at all limited by normal human limitations. Initially they tried drugging him and knocking him out, but he only goes down when they hit him with a high powered taser which ends up REALLY fucking with his holoform which unfortunately gets their attention
the Autobot Base is thankfully just within Smokescreen's range, and he looses his SHIT. Unfortunately they can't free him just yet on account of the whole ass town on top of him, but the fact multiple someones know he's down there...... yeah he starts crying a bit
during the S2 finale, Smokescreen ends up being the one to stay behind in the base since..... well, he couldn't leave anyways. Might as well make sure everyone else can escape

Hey, so I'm not sure if someone has asked you yet, but I'm fascinated by how you use the Cybertronian language in your transformers fics. How does it work exactly?
This got long, and I’m sorry as always. Thank Primus for read mores.
For starters when I FIRST began working on Resonance and realized I wanted to try putting Cybertronian into it, I read the wiki page, more specifically the opening paragraph:
It should be little surprise, given a moment's thought, that distinct Cybertronian languages exist. The Transformers did not go about speaking English or any other known Earth language long ages ago on their distant metal world. Though the records of such conversations are frequently translated for us, we should not forget that these conversations originally flowed in odd electronic syllables past strange metallic lips, or were etched by alien hands long eons before the first humans painted muddy shapes upon dark cave stone.
‘Fuck.’ Was my first thought. ‘I’m about to try and work an ancient language into this damn fic about a human and an alien robot boning/becoming soul mates…and I want it to be believable.’
‘College linguistics comes back to haunt me.’ Was my second.
So I’ve mashed several continuities together, from the comics to the tv show to the Bay/Knight movies. That sort of gave me a big door way to wedge information through, winding it around plot, and Cade and Prime’s interactions. There’s also more than one alphabet, because of course there is.
I wanted Cade and the Reader to bond as much as Cade and Prime did learning, and Prime teaching him/us. While Cade’s spent a handful of years with the 2.0 team, any lessons would be sort of like Cybertronian 101, rough and dirty. I didn’t want him fluent, (because how?) and reliant on the bots to explain more than they assumed. (Taken shamelessly from my own background. My mom and Uncle speak fluent Spanish but I know broken bits and pieces. I can swear like a sailor though.)
I also leaned into sticking to verbal lessons and displays of the language in action, instead of ‘Cade read a book’ which I think helped make it more…interesting? Hopefully!
Things, phrases, and manners of speaking Cade would be interested in just to help him survive among the bots. The word for ‘I’m a medic, don’t shoot my ass, I can help you!’ is kinda more important than names for Cybertron’s dead Primes or famous landscapes/battles.
Cade can speak Cybertronian better than he can read it, and indeed in Resonance the language is dying among its own kind, sort of like in Atlantis: The Lost Empire. (Not as degraded/gone though.) A younger mech that hatched off Cybertron and grew up amongst the stars only knows what they’ve heard/read or if an older mech transferred the language to them.
I decided to lean into Transformer’s physiology and history and create a few rules to stick to. Here’s a few from my notes, subject to have changed but I don’t think I contradicted them??
1. Transformers do not have a word or specific phrase for ‘please’ in Cybertronian. Instead of ‘Please do/give/take/etc X’ it would simply be removed from the vernacular. You don’t really ask a lot, you demand/take/coerce/threaten.
2. Yes is ‘Affirmative’ and no is ‘Negative’ and used more frequently than yes/no in reply to someone.
4. Short, stilted, and cutting phrases should make up the language when being translated into English. Blunt, but inseparable.
5. Delicate, kind, or sweet terms when being soft or gentle with a treasured person, such as an offspring, friend or mate. Long, lyrical, almost poetic??
6. Repetition to increase intention. “This is very good!” becomes “Good-good-good!” and perhaps engines might be made to purr a little to indicate pleasure/enjoyment/contentment, or optics would be squeezed shut for trust blinks like cats lol!
7. Nonverbal vocalizations slip in and out around Cybertronian as much as English. Static might come across grating to us, but static to a Transformer could mean confusion, alarm, or merely mumbling to oneself. It might not indicate stress—humans hear static and would be troubled, but a mech might be confused if a human heard their staticy sounds and assumed something was wrong. (Reversal, soft and wet sounds are jarring and foreign to Transformers, or usually mean something malfunctioning to them. Whistling from our lips is a great trick, they would think.) Steam whistles, and metal whistles but organic creatures making the noise? Woah!
8. There ARE other dialects but not gunna parse into them deeply or I’ll go nuts and the fic will derail. EX: Vosian (Vos) Vilocitronian (Vilocitron), Kaonic (Kaon) etc. Combatron is a colony thank god,can get away with it dominantly Cybertronian if I need it.
9. Look into Dragon Langauge/Thu’um and study.
10. Cade and Prime are ‘You-and-I’ when talking to one another, their special designation for each other. ‘They-Who-Are-One’ means the same but used by third parties. Prime also uses ‘Light-of-my-Spark’ or Sparklight, and ‘Cade-Beloved’
Those are old notes, dating back from Res’ early chapters in 2019.
Part of what helped me picture how I wanted the language to work was translating bot’s names into what I imagined their ‘true’ designations would be. It became kind of fun, actually. Especially seeing how short names could turn into long, almost lyrical titles. I wanted Cybertronian to sound harsh, heavy, and grating to humans in the fic, but also at its heart be flowing, connected and ever changing like the bot’s themselves.
Some were self explanatory to their ‘English’ version, some more esoteric. Starscream became ‘Screams-Like-Dying-Starlight.’ Terrifying but it paints a picture of what he does, what kind of fight he will give you, etc. As did ‘In-His-Crosshairs’ or ‘Drifts-Through-Darkest-Skies.’ Saying that 'Crosshairs and 'Drift' were what they were called on English seemed like a good way to show that we, as humans, are the aliens to them as much as they're alien to us?
Optimus Prime had other titles that both worked as nicknames or insults, depending on who said it their inflection. ‘He-Who-Reigns-War’ was meant to be heartbreaking as it was, well, kinda true. He doesn’t like it, Cade doesn’t like it. Many Autobots won’t use it.
Because I don’t study linguistics/zero time to study as much as I’d like, I have to absolutely work on rules and tweak them on the fly. I try to stick their speech being present, more than temporary.
‘Did you get hurt?’ would become ‘Hurting?’ and ‘I don’t like this at all, this is scary!’ becomes ‘Do-Not-Like! Scared!’
I wanted the Cybertronian dialect in Resonance to be emotive and rich in gestures, and firm statements. Abstract but ‘in the moment’ and very much still reliant on body language and tone versus tons of explanations or verbal hypothetical’s. There are noises and sounds humans cannot pronounce in this language, but there are work arounds within reason and, of course, a Cybertronian listening a human speak any Earth language can engage almost within minutes through learning and copying.
I hope this answered your question DX Sorry for the rambling!! If you read this far 200 cookies for youuuu

OP: I try not to ask myself questions that don't have answers I can do anything about.
M: Who has told you that you can't do anything about the answers? I never even had a name. I went out to die for the pleasure of strangers. Now I am Megatron, and I will fight when and where and for what reasons I please.
OP: Fight who?
M: Those who would tell me... like they tell you... that we do not have the right to determine our own fates. Interesting that even in Iacon my words are being heard.
OP: It is my task to hear all words.
M: But you don't answer all of what you hear. And surely you don't answer all of what you hear on channels that you hide for fear of being eavesdropped on.
OP: No.
M: A great many Cybertronians would love to have Iacon as their home. Yet you are there and still unsatisfied. What does that tell you?
OP: We should meet.
M: Should we? Why would I meet you?
OP: If you have goals beyond Kaon, you’re going to need to tailor your message so it will resonate beyond the castes who smelt ore and die in the pits.
M: Or the rest of Cybertron should learn to understand those castes. Even you do not, and you consider yourself one of us.
OP: Then show me what I do not understand.
The above is the first conversation between Orion and Megatron over the Grid. This conversation in Exodus occurred right after the oft-referenced moment where Orion gets upset about the fact that he does not have free access to Six Lasers—an amusement park reserved mostly for the highest castes. More than one fan has found this laughable and used it to point out how Orion was blinded by his privilege, and while I agree, I also think it’s important to not stop there.
In the above conversation, Megatron called Orion out and put him in his place. Orion could have responded defensively, but he did not. He asked to be shown what he did not understand. His open-mindedness impressed Megatron.
However, I will also point out that Megatron spoke of his personal ambitions more than about the collective goal of his group at the time. There’s a passage in The Covenant that I believe provides excellent evidence that Megatron saw things as him against the world from the start as opposed to him having the mindset of a benevolent revolutionary. I may or may not get around to sharing it in this series.
Motives and Methods
He understood Megatron’s reasons, and perhaps even more than the gladiator did Orion Pax wanted the freedom and initiative that would come with the end of caste and Guild.
Where they differed, Orion Pax suspected, was in method. He believed the change could be created through political means: spreading new ideas, watching them catch fire, attracting enough followers to their vision that eventually the High Council and Sentinel Prime would have to take notice. That was the vision of Orion Pax.
Sometimes he was concerned that Megatron did not have as much patience as he did.
Yes, you read that right. Orion once thought he desired the downfall of the caste system more than Megatron. It seems arrogant, but consider young Orion’s original dream from The Covenant. Without destroying the caste system, there would be no expansion outward. No opportunity for the exploration and discovery he so desired—not just for himself, but for others as well.
What did Megatron want? He wanted to fight. Alpha Trion said in The Covenant that Megatron was “of the line of Megatronus” and that “he was, at heart, born to revolt.” Megatron desired to conquer and control. To fight someone. Anyone. As long as he could fight against something. It just happened to be the caste system, and if others came along to benefit from his revolution, so be it. Meanwhile, Orion wanted there to be a collective, collaborative effort to destroy the system for the sake of moving forward and upward as a species.
So, I don’t think Orion was correct in thinking he wanted to rid Cybertron of its caste system more than Megatron. It’s just that their motivations and methods for doing so happened to be different.
A Social Strategist
“I don't need you to tell me what's easy and what isn't,” Barricade said. But he was already moving to go back inside. Perfect. “Lugnut,” he added with the door open. “Don't let this mech go anywhere.”
Mech, thought Orion Pax. He’s got to put me in my place. Gladiators wore their emotions on their sleeves, it seemed. He wondered if he should have reacted to the insult, or if a reaction would have been too provocative. Then he started thinking that he was being too deliberative, overthinking everything he did, overanalyzing everything others did.
Notice how Orion so quickly came to his conclusions with very little prompting. Typecasting can be an issue, but it’s impossible to navigate life without making some assumptions. In this case, I believe Orion’s assumptions and his gift for analyzing and reading others helped him to understand Megatron’s passionate nature and his tendency to provoke for the purpose of testing another—incredibly useful for strategizing later during the war.
Seeing Clearly
Entropy, or the consciousness of it, was my other companion. This was one reason why Orion Pax, with his dedication and tireless focus, stood out from the other clerks. He seemed to resist the robotic monotony of the data-harvesting enterprise; instead the size and scope of the task invigorated him.
Yet it was not for this that I came to realize that he was to become the next Prime.
It was a combination of observation, research, and raw... it is difficult for an archivist such as myself to say this...
Intuition.
Orion Pax seemed different. He was humble but certain, rigorous in completing his assignments yet unafraid to deliver results beyond or contradictory to the stated parameters.
And when he first began to discern that a few gladiators in the forgotten savagery of Kaon’s pits were beginning to grow into something more—Orion Pax might have been expected to do one of two things. He might have ignored the data as irrelevant, thus confirming the caste bigotry that those gladiators hated. Or he might have passed on the information without comment to his superiors, who might also have ignored them out of caste bigotry or suppressed the dissent without investigating its origins.
Orion Pax did neither of those things. He investigated, analyzed, synthesized—and when that still did not satisfy him, he went to those who were dissatisfied. He learned.
He empathized. Unencumbered by the prejudices of his age, he chose to see clearly.
Again with the intuition and empathy. Orion chose to look behind the curtain and allow his natural curiosity to take him places his peers never dared to go. He didn’t set out to lead a revolution. He didn’t waltz in and play savior. Orion merely followed his curiosity and realized he had the means to help Megatron’s movement in specific ways. He said through his actions: “Okay, I see where this is going, and I’m here. Show me what I need to know so that, perhaps, I can make this easier for all of us.” Orion never implied that they owed him for his contributions to the cause. It was his hope to make a difference and prevent a violent uprising by showing Megatron and other lower-caste bots that he, as an upper caste bot, was willing to use his higher position to work toward the common goal of societal change.
However, he was just one guy. It wasn’t enough for Megatron and the others, and Orion had to learn that the hard way. It’s not that he failed. He followed his intuition and did his best. It’s just a fact of life that, oftentimes, one person’s best isn’t good enough.
Librarian to Luminary
As he left my study, we were both stunned to see that the data clerks had come to the atrium outside, every single one of them. They stood in a double row, perfectly silent, having come just to see their former colleague and to pay their respects to what he had become.
For Optimus Prime it must have been a moment of intense and conflicting emotion. He has not spoken of it to me; since he left at that moment, he has been absorbed in the skirmishes around the perimeter of Iacon. The clerks glean every bit of data about his actions hungrily, as if it were Energon itself that they might nourish themselves with. Some of them would get up and fight if it were permitted, but as I have written, they are all either created not to fight or have been so damaged that field repairs cannot refit them for the battlefield.
If Soundwave had been present during this moment and read Optimus’ thoughts and feelings, I think Cybertronian history might have taken a much different path. Optimus did not choose to become a leader or a figurehead. Perhaps that made him weak in the eyes of those like Soundwave and Megatron, but Optimus was able to see what they could not—that the conflict was likely to end in a Pyrrhic victory.
Megatron charged forward with overconfidence in himself and expected everyone to fall in step behind him. Meanwhile, Optimus walked forward with caution and humbly accepted that many saw him as an inspiration and the keeper of Cybertron’s future.
In the end, both were necessary to wipe Cybertron’s slate clean, but Optimus desperately hoped it wouldn’t have to result in so much destruction while Megatron never really cared how he got his way.
Megatron was destined to be the revolutionary.
Optimus was meant to be a luminary.

I like writing little stories and snippets of things I like and alot of your TFP work I really like, but this AU was what finally got me to send in an ask, so how about this for a prompt? (I'm new to the TF Fandom so please excuse my excited rambling)
In your Innocent Abominations AU, what if - in a bout of strength and clarity - Orion/Optimus fights back against the Matrix and gets through to Megatron, Bumblebee, and whoever else might be there? (Like Elita One, Ratchet and Drift (if they came to visit), Grimlock, the Humans, etc.) He begs them - mainly Megatron - to remove the Matrix, this accursed power that's willing to kill sparklings that have no clue about their origin, that haven't done anything wrong. He even reasons that since the Emberstone, Quintus Prime's artifact and thus a creation of Primus, had created them. Despite their Earthly origins, they were still Cybertronian. But the Matrix is having none of it, actively trying to suppress Orion/Optimus again so it can fulfill its duty.
Megatron asks who's who, if he's Orion Pax or Optimus Prime. To which Orion/Optimus says they are one in the same, just that the Matrix would offer wisdom and influence his decisions. And now the Matrix was in fill control, or trying to have full control.  A puppeteer forcing Orion/Optimus to watch as his frame attempts to slaughter innocent sparklings.
As his strength is weakening, he bears his spark chamber and begs for the Matrix to be removed. To free him. To silence these overwhelming voices in his head once and for all. And just as the Matrix is about to smother Orion/Optimus for good (what good is "the perfect host" if it doesn't listen?), Megatron rips out the Matrix, shoves it into a container that silences its commanding whispers, and the Prime collapses from exhaustion. Optimus retains his Primely frame - the reformatting he went through when he accepted the Matrix was permanent - and his spark chamber is damaged, but his spark itself remains intact, having physically rejected the Matrix from his frame.
But the Matrix was successful in one thing, it sowed a seed of doubt in Optimus' mind. He just hopes that despite the Terrans being of Unicron, he made the right choice in sparing their lives. Seeing the sweet Innocent Abominations sparklings happy and alive - not scrapmetal beneath his axe - was all the more relieving and could put his warring mind to rest.
It was finished. He was free. But at what cost?
I love this prompt thank you.
Previous part here.
━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙ ━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙
The voices grew louder with every passing cycle. Optimus knew deep in his spark that he was hunting sparklings, but he found he simply didn't care. For weeks he stalked, his remaining inhibitions stopping him from progressing further than a few feet out from the tree line once a few warning shots were fired. Megatron and Bumblebee always stood in his way, and while the Matrix wanted the Terrans dead, it did not demand the loss of life of his own kind. There were so few of them. He could not risk killing those that remained.
The parts of him that were untouched by the Matrix grew quieter, and soon enough, he found himself no longer fighting back against the Matrix's demands. Beings not born of the Well were not Cybertronian. How could they be? They were not touched by Primus, they knew not the trial of emerging from the Well and the struggles of living on Cybertron. So many long nights he fought with himself, until at last, something in him was silenced and it did not cause him any distress to imagine killing the Terrans. The pain hung in every cable still, but it was no longer the unbearable agony that caused him to try and tear his plating off.
The itch, the urge, was impossible to ignore. But now that he had his mind? He could handle things more... delicately. The Matrix hummed in affirmation as he stepped out of the tree line one dark night, for once completely composed. Megatron and Bumblebee raised their blasters and the Terrans emerged from their resting place in horror. They did not know the details, but they knew enough to be fully aware that Optimus was no friend. Not while his optics shone a pure white.
Optimus: Megatron, Bumblebee.
Megatron: Stay back Prime!
Twitch: What's going on? Optimus, are you alright?
Bumblebee: Don't go near him! That's not Optimus, not anymore.
Optimus: That is where you are mistaken. I was foolish for failing to listen to the Matrix. It only caused me pain because I refused to adhere to it. But now-
Megatron: Save it! My old foe would never sink so low as to slaughter sparklings!
Nightshade: Slaughter...
Bumblebee: All of you, back inside.
Hashtag: No, we are staying here. We are family. And if Optimus isn't right in the head, we are going to deal with this together.
Optimus: How very noble of you abominations. If there is truly any touch of Primus in you, come to us willingly. Your deaths shall be swift.
Twitch: Why do you want us dead? I thought we were all Cybertronian!
Optimus: You wear our faces, you act like us, but you are not of us. The Matrix says this. Parasites, all of you. It is for the benefit of all that you perish by our blade.
Megatron: Stop this Optimus!
Optimus: There is no halting the inevitable. This is our only attempt at diplomacy. Give us the Terrans now and they shall die without pain. Deny us and we shall inflict as much damage to the surrounding life forms as necessary to accomplish our goals.
Megatron: This isn't you! Fight back against that Primus forsaken relic! It does not control you!
Optimus: You will not give us the Terrans... how very disappointing.
Optimus glared, but he did not fight. His voice rang cold, his expression so frigid that there was no room to even imagine what he was thinking. As he turned to walk away, his frame did not sway with any sort of life. He moved with calculation, like a true machine. Megatron almost fired on him, but he could not bring himself to for both the political havoc it would bring and due to the simple fact that he had no desire to see his old foe slaughtered. Bumblebee hurried the Terrans back inside and quickly called in all Autobots who were aware of him being on Earth and fully functional.
Arcee and Elita-1 were informed with haste. Starscream was called in, and he came without complaint the moment the situation was explained. Grimlock arrived without question as soon as Bumblebee notified him of the potential danger to the Terrans. Soundwave was kept in containment but on standby. An agreement was made that he would defend the Terrans if it was required, and in turn, he would be allowed to walk free afterwards. Megatron was willing to take no risks when it came to the Terrans and the unstable Prime. Bumblebee could only do his best to keep everyone calm as the children were forbidden from leaving and the Maltos carefully extracted. It was too dangerous to move them, not when Optimus could be lurking. And so instead they remained at home and the available Cybertronians constantly stood watch. There was always someone on guard, regardless of the situation. G.H.O.S.T were kept out of the loop through careful artificial orders and recordings.
As such, they did not react when Optimus Prime failed to return to base. None knew where he was, and for weeks, he remained completely off the map. Their fears grew, until at last, Optimus returned.
It was a sudden affair. The Terrans were milling about the Malto property and the children were sitting with them, watching Thrash play with Jawbreaker. Then there was a distinct sound of pedesteps, and Starscream who had been keeping watch that day, leapt to the air with his blasters ready as the lost Prime came crashing out of the tree line. Optimus was all but feral as he flew forward, his optics blazing white and his axe coming down hard into the ground where Thrash had been mere moments before. Starscream did not hesitate to throw himself into action, rocketing down and grabbing the Prime around the neck to by the Terrans time to flee while the others arrived.
Optimus flung Starscream off his back and slammed the seeker into the ground, causing him to scream in agony as a wing broke under the hit. The Prime did not waste a moment in rushing toward Nightshade who stood their ground, their optics cycling in fear only dulled by conviction. He charged like a rabid animal, his mind long degraded by the Matrix as he threw himself into action. Nightshade dodged the worst of it, only receiving a minor slash to their left arm. Twitch flew in to attack with her blasters, drawing Optimus's attention away while Jawbreaker rammed the Prime, sending him sprawling as he practically frothed at the mouth.
He rationalized his weeks hiding by saying it was for the best. Phycological warfare and all that. But in reality, the small parts of Orion that remained cried out and did their best to push forward morality to subvert the logic. He wandered for so long as a desperate attempt to prolong the Terrans lives. Now all that remained was wild wrath that did not even belong to him.
Elita arrived with Arcee and they wasted no time beating the Prime into the ground, tying him down like a wild boar. Starscream was tended to and the Terrans stood around in fear as Optimus snarled, screaming obscenities' and strange prophecies to the stars. Too weakened by weeks of wandering without reasonable energon rations left the Prime unable to do much when Grimlock arrived and kept a pede on his back to ensure he couldn't escape. He snarled, he bit his own derma, and by the time Megatron arrived, he'd damaged himself enough on the ground that his face bled from a thousand small cuts.
Something changed in that moment though. As Megatron drew near and Optimus was heaved to his pedes and held in place by Grimlock, Optimus stilled. He fell eerily quiet for the first time since he came bursting free from the forest. Those who were gathered feared he would attack, but instead his voice came out so softly as to be a whisper.
Optimus: Take it away. Make it be silent.
Megatron: Who am I speaking to? I refuse to be manipulated by that Primus forsaken relic.
Optimus: You speak to Orion Pax, I who then became Optimus Prime.
Megatron: How-
Optimus: We are one and the same. The relic merely awakens the Prime, it does not make us.
Megatron: Then we can remove it.
Optimus: Yes. Take it away. Make it be silent. Remove it before it silences me. I don't want to kill them. Please don't make me kill them...
Optimus spasmed in Grimlock's grip, his optics flaring as his voice turned to static. His plating folded away and revealed his spark quickly being smothered by the relic within him. Megatron did not waste a moment in dragging the Prime to the ground and reaching in to rip the relic out. It burned him, sending power flooding up his arm and into his frame. He screamed as his servos wrapped around the relic that was clasped around Optimus's fluttering spark. But with a burst of strength, he tore it free with an agonized scream from the Prime on the ground.
Before anyone could stop them, the Terrans hurried forward and checked on both downed mecha. Megatron got up with a few new electricity scars, but he was fine. Optimus for his part remained prone, his frame falling still. His spark still blazed, but it was weak. He was taken away and held in restraints, the Matrix boxed away and hidden until Optimus woke and they could decide what to do next.
But when he woke, Optimus was... different. He was still very much a Prime in frame and mind. He had the programming and he still remained the same in personality. However, as he recovered and revealed himself to be ordinary, no longer plagued by madness... he looked upon the Terrans differently. At first the gathered Cybertronians worried he was still maddened, but when questioned, he only had one thing to say.
"They are young, they are no threat to us. However... despite the lack of the Matrix poisoning my mind, I fear that they may not be pure. I could never harm them, not now. So if they really do become the threat the Matrix warned me of... I do not think I would have the strength to fight back."
With time, he returned to his normal activities, and the fear abated. He spoke with the Terrans normally, teaching them under supervision. He continued acting as Prime. But deep beneath the surface, he questioned.
And unbeknownst to anyone, when the Emberstone was used to restore the fallen, Optimus felt the all familiar call once more. The call that summoned him to receive the mighty relic of old. It was back, and this time, it was not loving.
He could ignore it. The call never grew stronger. But whenever he passed by the container the Matrix was held in, his spark flared in pain and fear.
It wanted him back. It still wanted the Terrans dead.

Okay so my idea on the headmaster protocol would be that its first priority was to help stabilise Sam who was having side affects similar to his first overload of allspark knowledge and stuff, headaches and all the bad affects of trying to pull three all nighters trying to get a glyph drawn correctly.
It’s proposed that having a cybertronian neruolink with a bot who’s experienced with the allspark can help to mitigate and manage the energy and information consumption sam goes through. Bumblebee once being a allspark guardian and Sam’s closest bot volunteers.
After its successfull the government wanting to take full advantage of the opportunity for inhanced soldiers proposes using more properly trained and qualified personnel to form the “headmaster program” Lennox with ironhide would be the first approved soldiers to test the battlefield application before more would be approved.
However Sam wasn’t a soldier and with Lennox and ironhide it was decided they were to risky to be valid “weapons”. To emotionally compromised or trying to play hero amongst fellow soldiers. Thus the program was dub redundant and canceled. And Sam and Bee left to struggled trying to make any sense of allspark knowledge Sam spews up while tensions rise between human governments and autobots.
Tumblr media
UNTIL
Wanting their own to be uncompromised and tied down by humans any longer Rachet and Prime created a plan to “Mute” the connection, tested on Bumblebee and Sam as they both wanted to help anyway they could. Ironhide turned down the idea, he and Lennox knew it was the best chance they had at doing more. After Bumblebee no longer felt Sam despite the binary connection existing still the autobots minus ironhide disappeared. Leaving Sector Seven to become a conspiracy theory rabbit hole once again.
Years later the autobots befriend more young humans with more promising fits for the headmaster connection
Tumblr media
———-
Kinda want it to be reminiscent of the pacific rim idea of younger generation being able to be shaped better for the mental combatant conditions
It’s more likely just Jack and Miko and raf’s like why not bumblebee? You know his best friend who’s one of the best fighters??? They don’t want to tell the kids they already tried and kinda fumbled the headmaster idea but also trying to keep things burried just allows things to haunt you more
Also also adding the headmaster element is more the head component being detached inorder to closer manuver and monitor brain and and processor alignment and physical components being added and onlined to the human from the Cybertronian, so instead of the head physically making the exosuit the human is fused into a cybernetic/cyborgessqur suit that then can further fuse and connect to the cybertronians body liek micromaster i guess? But also the cybernetic suits Lennox and Sam have is actually augmented and integrated with/into their body’s extensively neurologically and physically connected systems with the intention to cross interface between human and bot
Which would be vastly different from how it would be done ever again. Like Sam needed to release brain pressure and strain caused to his entire body from the allspark and they tried to minorly alter the process for Lennox but didn’t know where to draw the line between man and bot so they went way overboard

I meant to put this on the first ask but I'm a doofus so:
What is that one niche thing about Mercy that you have been waiting for someone to ask about so you can talk about it endlessly? Spill the tea dude, everyone's got that one thing on their pet project.
I don't think there is one thing in particular that I have been waiting to talk about. I know there are many small random things in the game, some which hasn't been seen by the public yet. I create a lot of my own lore idea like white energon being the blood of the One (Primus and Unicron before the split). Or how I invented personalities for Skylynx and Darksteel, who have so little screen time in TFP, and now my versions of them are THE versions for some people! I also try very hard to represent different kinds of people as major plot relevant characters. There are/will be trans fem Vehicons, non-binary characters like Nightbeat and Bludgeon, trans masc like Trepan, disabled characters like Froid, blind characters like Kaon, deaf characters like Bludgeon, Cybertronian second language speakers like Waspinator. All this on top of trying to use different kinds of Transformers (cars, jets, helicopters, boats, beasts, Minicons, etc.). There are homoromantic relationships but not for tokenism. They are crucial for the plot like with Overlord's unrequited love for Megatron and Froid's and Sunder's relationship. But the stories are not just lgbtq+ stories, they are suspenseful, dark, violent, supernatural, dramatic, adventurous, etc. The lgbtq+ characters and other characters representing minority groups are just a part of that dark adventure.
Maybe a fun thing to share is the fact that I did study Anglo-Saxon (Old English) for months only to write a couple of Old English lines in the story (to represent Old Cybertronian). I hope I was accurate. When writing Cybertronian Sign Language, I will be inspired by my knowledge of American Sign Language and the way it leaves out words but can also have nuances English doesn't. But the CSL will have its own signs that I will describe.
Starscream uses Cybertronian Sign Language to quietly convey something to Jetfire in Part 5 of the Discovery Storyline if you catch it

Another funny thing about weird Decepticon stans trying to pretend that the Autobots were just as bad as them is that, in IDW1, the Autobots literally did not exist until Orion Pax stormed the Senate and delivered a speech claiming "Autobot" as a new label to mean "autonomous." Whereas all of the colonization during the Golden Age happened during Nova Prime's time a couple million years prior.
And during the war, the Decepticons were literally cyberforming planets they killed and had established something called the Interstellar Constellate at some point. And Megatron said in Chaos Theory that his plan for his Decepticon empire if/when he defeated the Autobots was to rebuild and cyberform planets to create a Decepticon empire where mechanical beings reign supreme.
Like, the BEST ARGUMENT you can make is that since Optimus is a Prime, he technically inherits the problematic nature of the Primacy's history of colonization, but I think that even that argument is pretty thin considering that Optimus was always pro-organic to the point of valuing their lives equally to Cybertronians, which is something that even a lot of Autobots fail to do. Compared to other members of his species, Optimus is literally a radical in terms of his stance that organic life = Cybertronian life, but go off I guess lmao.
You can even see that during the time of Sentinel's Senate, there was an engraving on the wall that said "freedom is the right of all civilized beings", showing that Optimus at some point took that phrase and changed it to underline the fact that freedom is a universal right for ALL beings.
Tumblr media
Also, again for IDW1 specifically, a lot of anti-Optimus people clearly don't even know the timeline of events in that story. OP spent a good chunk of the story working against the Senate with things like
Storming the Senate on Megatron's behalf to deliver an angry speech against government corruption
Working with Senator Shockwave undercover to investigate Proteus being suspicious, uncovering a conspiracy to frame the Decepticons for a terrorist attack, and risking his team to prevent it
Going on the run and doing secret operations like saving hotspots from being attacked by Sentinel's forces
(For bonus points, he even saved Drift from dying either by drug overdose or being beaten to death by some thugs and called an emergency transport for him to Ratchet's clinic)
The regime change happens because Sentinel Prime is killed BY MEGATRON who at that point had already become a gladiator criminal underworld. By the time Orion is back in Iacon acting as Zeta's head of security/general/etc, Megatron is already well on the path of corruption and senseless violence doing things like arranging illegal weapon trafficking (shown in Optimus Prime) and forcing Rumble and Frenzy to get frame reformats to fit Megatron's tactical needs (Megatron Origin). Apparently Optimus doesn't deserve to have facts about his backstory and difficult contexts around his decisions be observed by this fandom though lmao.
If you take IDW1 out of context and go "OP worked for the regime!" then yeah of course it looks bad, and yes he did do that. But a lot of people also neglect to mention 1. the anti-government actions he DID take 2. the fact that by the time OP started fighting against Megatron, he had already become super evil and 3. because Megatron was super evil, Orion couldn't just desert Zeta's government and be like, "oh yeah I'll totally be able to talk Megatron out of doing terrorism and violence just on my own" especially since in this continuity they barely fuckin' knew each other before OP became a Prime. There's so much shit around OP being a cop and the ways he did or didn't succeed in trying to change the planet for the better, but none of that is addressed when people just go "oh he's a cop and the Autobots are colonizers" like ????? Stop it.
Stop taking this shit out of context and stop cherrypicking evidence to make one side look good and the other side look bad lmao.

Welcome to my rp blog with my lovely oc, Enigma. Enigma is an experiment created by Shockwave, he was created by putting three minds into one body. The experiment was to create a super soldier, but instead a nervous Decepticon with PTSD and mental issues was created.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Havoc and Greed are the other two within the body. They all have their own personalities and own preferences and hobbies. Though when it comes to relationships they prefer to share as it's easier that way for them. And they don't really like the idea of all dating separate bots, too much work.
Poly Relationships are allowed in a rp, OC and CC characters are welcome.
NSFW is also welcome, I usually prefer doing roleplays through Discord, but I'm willing to try a rp through Tumblr if I am assisted on what I need to do and how to do it.
Enigma: He/They (Male)
Havoc: They/Them (Nonbinary)
Greed: He/She/They (Genderfluid)
All three are Omnisexual.
- NSFW, SFW, OCs, Canon Characters are all ok. No minors!!! 18+ ONLY. Humans are not allowed in my rps.
About enigma:
Enigma (aka Subject E-N1G34)
Enigma is a mech created by Shockwave, made of various parts of deceased Autobots and Decepticons. Enigma is a Decepticon that has the mind of a single being but sometimes another takes over. Enigma has two separate identities that possess his mind. One he calls Havoc and the other Greed. In total three minds shares his body. Enigma usually in control unless a certain emotion overwhelms him or he is knocked out.
Due to him having a processor at mass capacity of so many memories and thoughts, he suffers from short term memory loss. He's a rather quiet mech and not that brass despite his size. He measures at about 35 feet tall and 5 inches. He's a rather tall mech.
His plating is mismatched in color and he doesn't really fit in with the rest of the Decepticons except for certain mechs he's bonded with. This includes some of the Stunticons and Constructions. He's welcomed into these groups with open arms because of his difference and the fact the mech is quite destructive, whether on purpose or accident.
- about me:
I'm a Transformers Fanfic Writer. I mostly do x Reader One-Shots. I have over 10 years writing experience and over 5 years of roleplay experience. I am twenty years old, I turn twenty one Sept 18.
Starter(s):
-Cybertron is slowly thriving, Cybertronians are returning to Cybertron. You are in a bar and are looking to enjoy a cube of Engex, you head to the bar and see a rather large mech sitting alone. Everyone is avoiding him, but you are curious about him.
Do you approach?
- Earth is slowly being cleared out of Decepticons, you are an Autobot, Decepticon, or Neutral. You discover an injured Deception that is rather large in size. He's wounded, bad, and is in need of assistance.
Do you help?
