I have had previous accounts but I’ve either ended up deleting them out of guilt or they just got banned.

I wanted to push my focus on tumblr towards a personal archive/diary, rather than just a pit of hollow d1et culture. I want to create content with some substance because it was driving me insane simply being a representative of such an ugly side of the community. I do not endorse any of it, and I encourage young impressionable girls to stay far far away from anything to do with it.

I am not in recovery, and since I am also just another young impressionable girl, my posts will often be sporadic and unwell. This blog is strictly for myself, to share my perspective, vent, etc.

I’m sending this on anon to avoid judgement on my main blog, but I really need to put this somewhere after seeing your post about how much anti-theism there is in leftist spaces.

I’m an Omnitheist Jewish witch from an interfaith family. I’m culturally Jewish and observe Shabbat and the high holidays (and would go to synagogue more if the only synagogue accessible to me wasn’t my university’s Hillel chapter), but I was raised in a Waldorf school and taught about all sorts of different religions from all around the world, so I feel it would be ignorant of me to be like “oh only my religion is right and everyone else is wrong”.

The amount of antireligious bullshit I have seen from (mostly) white leftists is absolutely disgusting. I hate seeing posts on my dash that are like “haha silly people who believe in ghosts are psychotic and need to listen to science” from people who otherwise preach love and light for everyone. I’ve gotten to a point where I do not feel comfortable discussing my religion, spirituality, or any spiritual experiences I have unless I am extremely comfortable with the person I’m talking to.

On top of that, I’m an Anthropology Major with a Religious Studies Minor, and the amount of times I’ve had to remind MY OWN PROFESSORS to not try and come up with some dismissive explanation of the belief system of a group of people is frankly astonishing. It makes me absolutely sick to my stomach, and what’s even sicker is that I’m too scared to even bring this up on my actual platform because of the fear of being discredited or slandered.

Again, I’m sorry for the vent in your inbox, but I wanted to thank you for saying something when some of us are too scared to do so or feel that we’ll be mocked.

I imagine that's especially difficult because of the western approach to anthropology (the "look at these primitive belief systems" shit)

it's unfortunate that some people take the perfectly reasonable sentiments of "no one should be forced into religion" and "religion, like many things, can be used to justify harm" and take them to mean that religious people are evil and/or stupid and that it's okay to contribute to the oppression of people who are marginalized for our religions

I would argue that white women have used their womanhood to contribute to the oppression of men of colour (historically to the point of lynchings), but that doesn't mean womanhood itself is the problem. people use many things to justify harm. those things aren't always inherently harmful.

I'm glad what I'm saying is reaching people in similar situations, and I hope you can find a community where your jewish identity doesn't have to be hidden

Hi! I’m Jamie (not my real name but we’re using it until I’m eighteen). This is my little spiel on who I am what I’ll post so you can see if you want to follow or not.

Who I Am:

I’m a fifteen year old who loves to write, hoping to improve as the years go by

Some of my interests belong to fandoms such as Good Omens, Russian Doll, The Sandman, or OFMD. A lot of them are centered around music too (Des Rocs, White Stripes, Olivia Rodrigo, Florence and the Machines, Mitski, Grandson, K. Flay, random musical soundtracks, and many MANY more). I have a lot of extracurriculars like band, volleyball, science Olympiad, theater, quiz bowl, and honors classes (that last one doesn’t really count but it is very time consuming so I’m listing it). I love being involved but sometimes it can both be a blessing and a curse 😅.

I am going to get a big one out of the way first. Like everyone, my life is not all sunshine and rainbows. A lot of shit has happened in my personal life since I started freshman year and sometimes I get a little angsty. anne’s blog is basically just her bedroom but more of it. thai things, lesbian things, her favorite music/artists (a lot of kpop), her favorite shows (she reblogs gifsets of suspicion island with tags that are way too fucking long considering the writers themselves definitely did not put that much thought into the show), her favorite athletes (mostly just serena), her favorite movies (ranging from terrible cheesy romcoms to indie cult classics), cute cat pictures, calming aesthetics, fun fashion looks, and posts about how much you should love & cherish your friends. she doesn’t make that many original posts, but her tags are so sweet & funny that she gets a lot of asks anyway. once she disappears her mutuals just assume that she found a steady gf & stopped using tumblr, so they’re all like “aw i miss her but good for her i guess :(“ if only they knew...

(she comes back with little fanfare, just reblogging her usual kinds of posts again, and when she gets asks inquiring about her whereabouts she's just like "oh i was in greenland for five months. there was no wifi lol." she posts a lot more animals (besides cats), especially frogs and bugs this time around, but nobody questions it because. it's tumblr. everybody loves frogs now.)

marcy’s blog is actually rly popular because she is constantly making lengthy original posts about such a wide variety of topics that there’s something there for everyone. there’s a lot of rpg & fantasy & video game stuff, but also a lot of engagement with non-fiction, whether it be history, science, math, or music, and since she’s clearly so knowledgeable about so many things, no one would guess that she’s actually only 13 and not like, a grad student. she has one of those usernames that is long & kinda cheesy but she can’t change it now bc it’s, like, her brand, and people are constantly referring to her by the first word of her url as if that is her name. sometimes she shares her art or music she's working on too, and even though it’s not super polished or anything, it always gets a lot of notes just bc she has so many followers. when she suddenly drops off the face of the earth, her followers won’t stop sending her asks to check if she’s okay, and then a bunch of her other followers get super defensive and are like “she’s probably just focusing on writing her dissertation right now and doesn’t have time for hobbies. leave her alone!!!”

(she's still on tumblr as an adult, but mostly uses it to answer asks every once in a while and promote the new chapters of her webcomic, which has a huge following both from longtime followers of her blog and from new fans who just recognize the inherent awesomeness of it. she now posts her other art, bonus panels from her comic and also some miscellaneous stuff, on her patreon though, so her tumblr is mostly an archive of her teenage self. she doesn't have it in her to be embarrassed though. after all, she was a really smart kid.)

sasha’s blog is so confusing bc half of it is like tender lesbian pics and half of it is like blood & gore & weapons. she also just makes a bunch of personal vent posts that make no sense, and she loves those posts where the op is basically larping as like, an evil mad scientist. her blog is a fucking mess and she has basically no followers because she just uses tumblr as like an anonymous diary and for once doesn’t actually care about how she’s perceived. sasha has seen anne & marcy’s blogs before, but she pretends that she doesn’t really know what tumblr is around them simply because she refuses to let anyone know, even (especially) her closest friends, about this secret abomination.

(the few followers that she does have can steadily track her mental health improving over the years, and they're quietly rooting for her as she posts less and less, even if they do miss her funny textposts about swords and girlbossing. by the time she's 18 the only social media she uses is bandcamp. good for her.)

sprig is 10 and also new to how the internet works in general so when he makes a tumblr after seeing anne scrolling thru it on her phone he has absolutely no idea how to use it and mostly just posts original drawings he does of his friends back in wartwood. everyone thinks these frogs are ocs of his, and don’t really understand why he keeps referring to the little yellow frog character named ivy as his “girlfriend.” he thinks he is just sharing his culture with the good people of the internet. everyone assumes that he’s nonbinary because of his name, but he’s like “no im just a little frog boy!!” which of course only reaffirms to these people that he is like, a white transmasc in his 20s. anne gets worried that he’s gonna expose himself, but then she sees that he only has like 50 followers and she’s like actually ykw i think we’re fine

Today I, Lucille the pacifist by choice, was enjoying my day doing Lucille things like drinking tea, listening to 1950's easy listening and classical music, writing up a post on this blog with self care tips and making sure our system's needs were met in the rare moment I took the front as of late and overall I was enjoying my nerdy, introverted, zen before I inevitably decided to pass the front up to Riku or XIV to have their needs met.

And minding my own business, our old Wing Chun Discord for the club we were in during college sends out an announcement that there was a "Third Fatal Stabbing on Campus" which obviously, for those that know this system, had XIV running up to the front and basically internally grasping onto my shoulder and hovering over me (invading all my personal mental space) to read and began loudly venting and going off

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON WHAT DUDE THEIRS A SERIAL STABBER IN OUR OLD UNIVERSITY WHAT THE FUCK NOW THAT IM GONE WHAT THE FUCK" "COME ON MAN I WANNA BE THERE I WANNA FUCK WITH THE SERIAL STABBER MURDERER" "GOD THIS SUCKS ALL THE FUN STUFF HAPPENS WHEN IM NOT HERE" (continued XIV rambling)

Then I briefly, after vent laughing about it to a friend, humored it a bit and did admit I was also a bit curious what was going on with their being a serial stabber with three fatal stabbings on our old campus - which was a mistake to humor by the way because it once again ignited him

You seriously added an IP tracker to your blog without disclosing it first? You claim to be a trustworthy vent/information source, but gathering personal data and information without permission from readers on a site that is supposed to be anonymous for our protection is messy. No matter what your reasons were for doing this, you sacrificed your credibility completely in doing it. This is disappointing, the community isn't going to be able to trust you anymore and you know that means people will turn to worse options like talkthat again.

This is intentionally off anon on a fake tumblr so that you cannot block me as an anon to try and cover up. I don't know if I'm right to think you'd be sneaky but didn't think you'd ever be out here collecting people's locations either so here we are.

hello! we installed an ip tracker a few hours ago to try and figure out where a mass amount of recent death threats were coming from! we have a counter in our discord and we hit fifty yesterday, with over twenty two of them coming in over yesterday itself. it's important for us to know if this is multiple people or one person, since tumblr doesn't disclose anything like that to us, and despite blocking a few of them the asks are continuing to come in. it's just making us a little paranoid because we don't know if blocking anons on tumblr isn't actually doing anything or if this is a group of people and we just have to work with it!

we'll delete it when we can resolve this issue! it's also why we haven't been posting the meat of our asks yet aside from having to comb through the spam, since we figured we would figure this out and delete the tracker in 24 - 48 hours. disclosing the tracker would defeat the purpose of using it to begin with!

we don't block anons that criticize us, so even if you submitted this on anon you would have been fine! additionally, we really don't care about where you guys live. we just don't want to be told to kill ourselves two to three times every hour.

we also don't particularly think we're trustful in general, or deal out good information. trying to clear up misinfo and stuffs is just bare minimum to us. we still don't know what the anon is doing, but maybe knowing there's an ip tracker on our blog for right now will stop them from the spam in our inbox, so really it's fine either way for us. if the community thinks we're going to be harmful about it or use the ip addresses for anything other than abuse towards us, then we'll delete it and deal with the death threats some other way! pictures of some of the asks are below the marker. not all of them, but we can post all of them if you want us to!

just for the record, we don't care about where you all live or how much you check our site. neither of us have computer science experience either, we just did researches today and came up with this option because tumblr has no other way for us to be able to monitor it or take control over it!

additionally, please submit any responses on anon. it makes us uncomfortable to be forced to reply to an off anon account, as we were sure that responding privately would only serve against us!

Ok this is a little vent of mine. You can ignore this, but also comments are appreciated.

I always feel that whenever I love someone deeply, they leave me.

(Little side note, I'm not obsessive as I appear there. This is just an overlyexaggerated blog with overlyexaggerated feelings. I am a normal person irl and I value other people's personal spaces. I think individuality and personal space are really important.)

The first person I have ever loved was a girl I chatted with on a daily basis. I'll addess her as J.

J was my bi and trans awakening. I just loved her so much but I couldn't accept it. This was my fault, I admit. I started acting cold and distant towards her and she didn't deserve it. I was around 14-15 and couldn't accept I liked girls too. I was in a deep crisis. I hated everyone and everything. Yet, she made my heart pound so much and I still resent myself for how I treated her.

She eventually decided to leave me and I get her, to be honest. I never confessed to her, nor I was in the right mindset to do so.

Fast forward, age 19. I start chatting with an informatic engeneer, much older than me. We liked each other but suddenly he disappeared. He ghosted me and we never spoke again.

My heart shattered in a thousand pieces. This made me so sad and believed I would never meet someone that could make me feel like he made. He made me feel special, wanted.

A few months after ghosting me, I discovered he got a girlfriend and that hurt me so badly. What did I do to make him leave, I asked repeatedly to myself. I cried to sleep and never spoke to him again.

A couple years later I "meet" ✒ (between quotes because we met each other two years prior to this, but never had the chance to talk properly). It all starts with me posting something about my doubt partaking in witchcraft even though I am a man of science.

He replied. He said there is somewhat a connection between science and witchcraft. So we started chatting on the daily.

I still talk to him to this day, but I don't have the guts to confess. I truly believe he deserves someone better and also I am so scared of loosing him, his friendship. That would destory me completely.

Then there is 🫀. We absolutely liked each other and he is the first and only person I confessed to and he confessed to me.

We immediately clicked, but - as I told in the previous posts - he mistreated me and took me for granted. He repeatedly said he got bored with me, ghost me for days, weeks, months, then came back like nothing happened.

I always welcomed him back in my life 'till two months ago. I decided to shut the door and he blocked me everywhere. I know I did the right thing, but I still can't get over him. I resent ghosting him. I should have welcomed him back once more. I miss him badly, but I can't get him back. It's for my best.

But I feel so bad.

And lastly, I got a crush on 🌸. I didn't talk about him a lot. He just said he'd leave socials for a while and I respect it, but I'll probably never hear from him again.

I feel abandoned every fucking time. I'm exhausted.

I'm not even asking for a relationship. I just want to give love.

UGHHH. that's how I fucking feel. like ugh.

so, let's start off with the fact that my two best friends in the whole world get to have a whole week with each other because my mom told me I couldn't go on the trip with my one friend even after she said I could originally. after being told I couldn't go I told my friend, and they immediately replaced me with our other friend. like what the fuck. were morails and everything too.

secondly, my grades fucking suck. so bad. they suck balls. they are absolute shit. i only have two good grades and that's in art and lit comp. thank god i either want to be a writer or an artist as a job. fuck math and science, AND FRENCH UGHHH, and the people that even thought about making those things can burn in the deep pits of hell.

third, my other friend (that i may slightly have a crush on), won't be able to talk to me because for 7 hours because of chorus. can you even believe this? because i can't. i am the unluckiest motherfucker ever.

fourth, my mom is being sucky again and i am constantly thinking about my goodbye letters. and by goodbye letters i mean my last words to everyone i feel is relevant in my life enough.

last but not least, im thinking about making an actual blog. where i post things about my life other than vent posts, or maybe even a hobby of mine? i read this fanfiction once (shut up.) where the main character had a blog. it was nice. she talked about witchcraft and stuff like that. im not very interested in witchcraft though, so maybe i could make it about something else? i will think on that more. maybe my 0 followers on here will enjoy it. i know i would.
