The Ward Den 2.0
My version of The Ward Den, Del Sol Valley. I found the original build a bit dull and dark, so I tried to rebuilt it, fitting it better into the surroundings and gave it a bit brighter, and family friendly, interior. It's still lavish and oppulent (I usually don't build in this style) but I think it fits Judith Wards personality. It's a fully furnished, CC free, build.
Main level : double story entry hall, formal living room, formal dining room, large family kitchen with a breakfast nook, lounge, family living room, double story library/office, half bathroom, small bedroom with a full bathroom (ideal for a butler)
Basement : spa/gym/pool, cinema, workshop for skill building, laundry and vault. Plenty space for future expansions
Upper level : master suite (with a dressingroom, full bathroom and balconies), junior master suite (with its own office/dressing, full bathroom and balconies), bedroom (currently dressed as kids room, with a dressing room, full bathroom and balcony)
Gardens : huge deck, pool, sitting areas, barbecue, playground and gardening space.
Lot size : 50x40, designed for the lot that housed The Ward Den in Del Sol Valley
Packs used for the exterior/shell/gardens : Get Famous, High School Years, Cottage Living, Discover University, Get Together, My Wedding Stories and Vampires. Many others for the interior, I used Vintage Glamour, City Living, Decor to the Max and Island Living mostly.

7 and 8 for Leonosa please. ❤️
7. Describe the shoes they’re wearing.
Leonosa loves shoes! S/he usually wears custom-made, high-quality leather boots that are very comfortable to walk around in, though sometimes s/he will wear high-heels. Because of her unusual feet, all his/her footwear has to be custom-made.
Fun fact: When Leonosa was growing up, there was one person on his/her family's staff that s/he was rather fond of: a tiefling cobbler who specialized in making custom footwear for tieflings. At first, the old guy didn't want to work for the Scaeva family, but then he realized how much the young tielfing child would suffer without someone thinking about them and what they'd need. Young Lenarius loved the shoes the cobbler made for him/her, as they were a huge improvement over the footwear that s/he had been forced to wear before. Sadly, because of how self-conscious Lenarius had been over his/her feet, s/he'd often ask the cobbler to style the shoes so that no one would notice how unusual his/her feet were. It would always break the cobbler's heart every time s/he did so, but he'd always reluctantly fulfill his/her request.
(For those reading this who don't know: Len's feet are unusually long and covered with hair. Instead of toenails, Len has black claws that extend past his/her toes)
8. Describe the place where they sleep.
Four-poster bed with expensive damask sheets and lovely silk curtains. A polished wooden bedside table that always has a book and a magic light on in. A bookcase with a queue of books s/he has taken from his/her office or the library that s/he plans on reading. Lavishly decorated with vases and paintings and figurines. Many gigantic wardrobes for his/her clothes, shoes, and accessories. A wine cabinet where s/he keeps all the special vintages. A large window lets in copious amounts of light during the day and gives a beautiful view of the stars at night. The room is on the second floor tucked away in a quiet place. It is quiet here, safe, a place to retreat.

aslihan’s home
In May 2022, Aslihan and Alex moved into a dark green, three level, 1900s-ish renovated house, coming with a large front and backyard with a swimming pool in the back and nicely sized pool/guest house. She lives in the more expensive part of Claret Park.
While it was hard to adjust at first and Aslihan initially hated living there, she eventually grew to love it deeply as she turned it from a house and into a home. She was largely inspired by her travels growing up and the house is filled with items she’s collected throughout her life from around the world, along with a variety of vintage, antiques, thrifted, secondhand, and items bought from local small businesses. Around the house is decorated with paintings, drawings, maps and atlases (especially of her home countries: Turkey, Egypt, England, Brazil, and now including a few of Colorado), papyrus paintings, and many photographs. From photographs of her family and friends, especially of Alex, to old photographs she’s bought from vintage shops to give new life; From Alex’s and Kemet’s toys scattered throughout the house; With each and every single room, no matter how big or how small, having some kind of purpose or use: Asli truly believes that this is her forever home. And she’s ready to make more memories in it.
little facts and tidbits
As stated before: the house is a rather large dark green, three level, 1900s-ish renovated home. It consists of: a wrap around porch; a first level consisting of a large foyer, a small restroom, a laundry room with a doorway to the pantry and extra storage room, a large living room, a breakfast nook, a large kitchen, a dining area, a sunroom, and a back porch/greenroom that leads out to the backyard; a second level consisting of a master bedroom with its own balcony area and a master bathroom, four bedrooms (one is Alex’s room, two are guestrooms, and the last one has been turned into an office/library), and a bathroom; a third level attic used as a hang out area and with a small bathroom and a small balcony; a backyard with a firepit and grilling area, a swimming pool, a play area for Alex, and a pool/guest house that holds a living room, a kitchen and hang out area, a small bathroom, and a bedroom; And three hammocks (one in the living room, one in the sunroom, one outside), because why not?
I had a variety of inspiration for Asli’s home and I found them all through Instagram:
@vineandvintage (a majority of the house is inspired by this account; anything I didn’t state down below is from this account)
@mybohojunglebook (second biggest inspiration, specifically the master bedroom and bathroom, dining room, laundry room, backyard, and most of the pool/guesthouse)
@goldenhourabode (specifically the record area in the attic, the sunroom, the back porch/green room, and the guesthouse bedroom)
@thebrickhousejungle (the second guestroom)
@takinada (the master bedroom’s balcony)
@palim_tintin (the display area in the dining room and attic bathroom)
Alex’s bedroom and the office/library were found through Google and World Market
Admittedly, Asli’s home is always a work in progress. I definitely tend to find more inspiration and trying to plot a way to include it in the house at some point or another. If your character ever comes on over, I’m more than okay with you having them say that it looks different than from when they were last there! Asli rearranges things a good portion of the time, always finding inspiration within her home and where to put things at. She’s currently working on adding in an Upright Piano to surprise Elijah; Currently, however, she’s trying to figure out where to put it at. She also has a plan to add in a garden in the front yard, but is waiting until spring and summer to work on that.
Check out the link below in the source to see Asli’s entire home!

Do you have an imagine in your head of your dream house/apartment? How it should look like? Which colors you would use? Which decorations?
Oooo, that's such an interesting question! Whatever space I live in, I want it to have cozy vibes, so I think I would use warm, earthy tones because I think those are inviting and calming.
In a perfect world, I'd love to have my own little library/office, where I have a desk for my computer, bookshelves filled with books that are organized in an ✨ aesthetic ✨manner and a window where I can sit and read.
Having a balcony also seems cool. And a big, open kitchen, so that I can feel fancy when I bake.
For decorations, I am kind of tempted to say that I would get a lot of plants, but I'd suck at taking care of them 😂 I'd really love decorate my space with cute vintage stuff, like mirrors and clocks. I'd also put up cool-looking posters of stuff I like, such as movies, shows, etc.

The Tragedy of Unity Church.
“Divine Love, through me, blesses and multiplies all that I have, all that I give, all that I receive, and all that I am. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.” – Rev. Scott, from a Unity prayer blessing
"All the sacred scriptures from the world’s great religions can be used to discover truth.”
The walk in Unity Village, Kansas, is meditative, ethereal even. Mosaics are lined across the walls, with generations of spiders recycling their ancestor's cobweb homes in the abandoned corners of vintage nurseries and libraries. The vast village (1.97 square miles), once a sacred place for self-awareness in Christ, became a shell of a location. The energy reflects that of ruins, as if the mindset it was established upon slowly eroded under rebellious waters.
I remember going to Unity churches as a child. I will not go into detail about the different hurtful experiences of the locations I was brought to. But I will talk about my "explorations". When I wasn't playing the grand piano by ear in the rainbow-lit sanctuary, I was sneaking with my siblings up a long inclining ramp lined with a vintage, burgundy carpet while the members ate together in a distant hall. At the end of the ramp lies a humble gray door that stays untouched, not to be opened. Beyond this lay a variety of rooms, as if two houses were morphed together, with every room abandoned, frozen decades ago in time. I remember:
A fireplace and a rocking horse in what appears to be a 90s nursery. The green walls were brightly lit by opened curtains.
An abandoned bathroom with a shower and toilet. The toilet was broken, the sink emitted brown water.
An office full of random papers from the early 2000s and the 80s. Stacks and stacks of papers, books, and office supplies were sprawled about, with cobwebs connecting them all.
A dark basement, complete with dim lighting, lightly flooded and abandoned as well.
To the left was another bathroom without lights. I distinctly remember taking a photo of a living centipede crawling out of the sink's center. The little red camera with this blurry image is since defunct.
To the right was a room of boxes, more neatly organized where members rarely went to grab outside supplies. Going in here, to an adjacent room, was a room full of books, with a single hanging light. In the center was a very old computer. Even as a child, I was computer savvy; I figured out how to turn it on, but realized that the OS was corrupt and unable to boot, leaving me on an old BIOS screen that I was completely unfamiliar with.
Finally, the room that unsettled me the most: a dark, liminal room. The walls were decorated with children's murals, holding hands happily with a yellow sun facing the doorway. In the middle of the unlit room was a drain and a single chair, toppled over. The light fixture was directly above it. What object was lying in the corner of the room that made me afraid?
My siblings stopped wanting to go with me. They were unsurprisingly afraid of the dark basement. To this day, I sorely wish I had taken more pictures.
Myrtle Fillmore was the mind behind the church accredited to Charles Fillmore, who did still play a large role in Unity. It is said that he wrote what Myrtle said and, after her death, carried the message on. However, he was having an affair with someone else during the time, and remarried after Myrtle's death.
When you are over a movement with spiritual power, your operations determine its outcome. Unity churches, once united, have now gone their own ways, remarrying to other doctrines, some even morphing into cults that welcome newcomers into a web of tight control, manipulation, and pettiness. Now, TruthUnity.net and Silent Prayer phone lines are the lasting living remnants of the original Unity church. I have not had great experiences with the modern Unity churches. As a child, I could've let my experiences of witnessing and documenting church member abuse become religious trauma. I could've let the tears be engrained in my soul. But as a teen I processed many heavy events at once, to the grace of God, with my experiences with Unity being one of them. Xenos/Dwell is another story entirely.
The essence of the Unity movement shares much in common with the powerful Christian Science movement, despite the Christian Science tendency to shake heads at any and every different belief system it becomes aware of.
I wish the best for those seeking the Christ, the Divine Light.

In love with the peachy 1889 Starrett House in Port Townsend, Washington. This amazing home has 11bd. & 10ba. Just reduced to $1.42M. The gorgeous large home is currently a B&B, b/c it’s so large and most of the antique furnishings are included in the price.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isn’t the entrance and stairs stunning?  The rare free hung staircase winds up the 70 foot tower and culminates in a dome with frescoes. The floor plan is like a wedding cake with the floors replicating rooms, alcoves and porches stacked on each layer.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What a cozy sitting room. The original fireplace is gorgeous and look at the wallpaper border- it’s so beautiful, and they painted the molding white, but look at the accents that match the wallpaper.
Tumblr media
The colors and patterns in this home are fabulous. Look at the ceiling in this dining room?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This large sitting room has 2 sets of pocket doors to close it off from the entrance hall and the dining room. The decorative details in this home are so special.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It doesn’t get any more authentic than this kitchen. Updated cabinets and appliances were fit into the original kitchen’s footprint. Notice the industrial sink in this professional kitchen.
Tumblr media
Isn’t this cute? They made this back room into a small library.
Tumblr media
Every bd. is completely decorated. This one has a lovely alcove.
Tumblr media
Very nicely remodeled bath as a wonderful vintage look.
Tumblr media
The new owner will get all this gorgeous furniture. That’s amazing.
Tumblr media
This room has a larger alcove. Also, notice the authentic light fixtures.
Tumblr media
The attic is completely finished and is a flexible space.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is also a separate guest quarter.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This would be a nice space to accommodate a family.
Tumblr media
In the basement is also an owner’s office.
Tumblr media
Beautiful home. It has a small terrace on the top floor, plus a nice back porch. The fenced in yard is large enough to seat guests outdoors.

Vintage Carved Doors, Wall Decor Creates an Artistic Vibe
Vintage wood sliding barn doors are a unique decor accent in luxurious resort styled homes, be it farmhouse chic or rustic urban. Functional art, using artistic carved rustic wood panels as interior doors, closet doors, library doors or study office doors, gives the house a unique character, connects you to Mother Earth and are beautifully healing as well. Hand carved in reclaimed woods, the tree…

Lower level : gym, Bella's secret office, utility room and mausoleum. Prepared for future expansions.
First floor : Cassandra's bedroom, Alexander's bedroom, Mortimer's office and family bathroom. All bedrooms have access to a small balcony
Second floor : Library landing, Master bedroom (with its own sitting room, full bathroom, dressing room and balcony with a hot tub)
Garden : barbecue area, sitting area and pool.
Lot size : 20x30, designed for the lot that houses the Ophelia Villa in Willow Creek.

POV: You wanna be light/dark academia so bad but you're broke as hell and you share a room, so the best you can do is borrow books from the library and scroll the Shein going "Damn I wish I could wear that" and the items just stuck in your Wishlist 'cause you know damn well you don't have the money for it and you only dream of decorating your room like a vintage office because (first of all, you're broke) the person you share it with will look at you like your crazy, so you just sit there, in pain, scrolling though social media as you see people looking absolutely gorgeous in their blazers and pleated skirts and you're just here in a hoodie and jeans
anyone else relate??

November Gala : My first WMSU Halloween experience and the School USC officer induction amidst Halloween extravaganza
As the sun starts to dive in the horizon, i heard the campus begins to howl music, and i found myself thrust into a weird blend of excitement and awkward confusion. This wasn't just any Halloween bash—it was the eve of a wild extravaganza, the night of the school officer oath-taking, and the moment my sweater decided to take on a gang of goofy, haunted dresses of people. Talk about a night to remember!
Tumblr media
As i stepped into the school ground, the gravity under my eyes sunk short. I see people coming in with their trick-or-treat costumes, all mostly in black get -ups.
My sweater? Totally not keeping up with the cool crowd. It was like a peek-a-boo moment on my part.
Tumblr media
When the dawn kicks off with this whole induction thing. I'm checking out the new leaders' faces, and even though I don't know any of them, there's this cool vibe of camaraderie mixing in with the Halloween fun.
Tumblr media
So, in the middle of the crowd, someone spills the beans – there's this freaky house all set to give the Crimsons a good scare. Everyone can go in by five, and folks can't help but wonder what cool, spooky stuff awaits inside. Like, how wild did they go transforming our school space, you know? I couldn't even help but marvel a thought.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then just after our first scream with the four of my classmates echoed, I've realized that the once mundane corridors now adorned with cobwebs, solemn pumpkin candles, spooky decoration and our journey to the leading room was a spur-of-the-moment jumpscares and shouting all over, adding a thrilling chill to the atmosphere, seeping into the fabric of my sweater.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's a clip that captures our craziness 📸::
Upon reaching the end of what it seems a long dim tunnel—with all the adrenaline, panting and sweat, I just took a sec to think about how this Halloween vibe totally flips the script on our small, kinda 'not on it's good shape' campus.
Sure, the place isn't a towering building with vintage libraries, like any other colleges, but guess what? We manage to pull off an awesome Halloween bash with what we've got.
It's like our school's signature style – making the most of what's around, no need for fancy stuff. Halloween here isn't about a huge setup; it's about all of us getting into the spooky spirit together and whatever shivers our spine that came with it.
Tumblr media
Later in the night, there were dances, singing performances, and storytelling each exerting effort, submitting to the ambience. Horror movie trailers were brilliant, from the cast to the cinematography, it feels really great that everyone on the intermission is down to put everybody on the edge of their seats.
Tumblr media
On this very magical celebration, we let ourselves drunk in the beat of the music, under colorful lights, Laughs were shared like inside jokes, and cheers still echo in my ears. My sweater even had a showdown with some fancy cloaks, Halloween OOTD, and chill dresses on the red carpet – a night to remember, for sure!
Tumblr media
In the end, when the clock struck late, and everybody's going home, there we were – me in my cozy sweater and sleeping pants.
Everyone still rocking their makeup.
Stepping out into the quiet night, I couldn't help but feel this cool vibe for the school, the awesome event team, and every pic that caught the essence of my first WMSU Halloween bash.
Yes, no more euphemism—but here's what, to experience Halloween at Western Mindanao state university (WMSU) was the coolest thing so far happens to me this year!
