Hi! I have just see Jk tracklist and I wanted to share my op -

First: I don't understand why, only because I like Jk as an artist and person, I have to accept blindly every single thing he does. I have my ideas and morals and I apply them consistently. I like seven, I don't like 3D. I am not a prude, simply I find that 3D it's explicit in a dirty way. For example.

So:

• I don't have problems with not writing your lyrics but I'm a little disappointed that in his first album there isn't even 1 or 2 Jk credits. Yes he surely approved and choose carefully but it's not the same thing to really write them, we can't read the lyrics and be like "that's what he think" because we can't be sure that he specifically approved that phrase that we are "analyzing". Meybe that was the only phrase that he doesn't like lol.

• I know he is working hard and I respect him for that, I'm just sorry he is working at something that is not what in my op a lot of fan were expecting (not that I wanted something specific, just listen to the songs and think "oh this is something he think for real)

• I think that all those songs will be more the 'no deep meaning' songs, again, nothing wrong with it. But when you are the frontman of a band famous for the deep meaning of their songs people have expectations. So for me the problem is that I and other fans wish to have from bts members the meanings, the ideas, the relatable lyrics, the personal style not songs given by random people. So I personally understand who is disappointed and find it valid.

Still I respect his work.

• note: tae doesn't wrote his lyrics too, but in his case Idk if he received the songs or if the songs were made for him, that is a little big difference.

Like I said earlier, you're allowed to want different music from him, of course you are. You're totally free in deciding what music of jungkook's you want to listen to and if you prefer seven over 3d, I'm not going to judge you or think you're a prude. It's about preference at the end of the day and I'm not at all advocating people to blindly support the artist you stans music even if you don't like it. Because it's all about preference at the end of the day, and if the disappointment posts I saw were simply just commenting on "Oh this type of music isnt my preference " then I wouldn't mind it.

The problem gets when people are making so many assumptions on the type of artist jungkook is, and judging his decisions in bad faith that are bothering me. It's the constant, "he's korean so I don't know why he feels like he needs to sing in English " that's bothering me.

For your first point, I get it. There's not a lot of theorizing you can do on the lyrics when he's not written them himself. It's actually what stumped me a little with layover because when I had read the four leaf clover lyric in Rainy Days , I got excited thinking it was a reference to Vmin and their four leaf clover story before realising that tae didn't have any writing credits. But then as I thought about it more, there's no way to know whether tae discussed what he wanted to convey what wanted each song to be about and he might have even relayed the four leaf clover story to the writer. Or maybe it's a complete coincidence ! So yes, on that front I get that it takes away from a fun part of fan culture because you don't exactly know what they're singing from real experience and what is just a fantasy. It's always nice to learn new nuggets about your favorite artists and the way they think, buts it not that definitive to me personally, but it may be to you so I get that.

Second point, I mean sure you can be disappointed your expectations of his album don't match up with his own vision, but there really is not much we can do beyond that is it? At the end of the day, he will release the music which he feels is right for him and as long as it's not something terribly offensive or something, we can't really hold it against them for having a different creative vision to what fans had for them. Of course you're allowed to feel disappointed, but people acting like he's done some personal offense against him through his creative decisions is what bothers me.

I honestly think it's not fair to already dismiss all the tracks to have no meaning before they're even out . We literally have zero clue as to what the songs are going to sound like. As to the deep lyrics thing, honestly I think people hold bts to too high a pedestal with how deep their music is. They've talked about silly crushes, wanting to get a girls attention, sex and a lot of other topics which army's now claim they're 'above'. It didn’t sound like that because they were singing in korean and had credits from a member. If it's solely about deep lyrics, then while bts have some incredibly deep and moving lyrics but They've also had incredibly silly ones. If it's about the cool wordplay they do in korean which you're not getting in english releases, then I would say let's wait and see what golden has. English has a lot of avenues for equally fun wordplay/metaphors and we simply don't know enough about golden to have an opinion on this.

So in conclusion, you're allowed to have expectations from their music but I simply don't think it's fair to suddenly turn on jungkook, his artistry and his performances because his work doesn't match what you had in mind.

A Vmin throwback - 2019 (Part 1)

3 years I have been making this post now, and every year people keep saying Vmin is dead, less close or even fake. I usually say: Do you have eyes?

Vmin surely proved you wrong this time and I think at this point their bond is hard to deny. This post has been really difficult to make, both because of the amount of moments and also because it’s more difficult to find good gifs for everything and I can’t include twitter videos in this type of post. Just know there was a lot of moments I had to skip.

2019 was the year of the pig, aka. the year of everyone born 1995. So in this year of Vmin of course they have given us plenty of moments to gush about. In fact despite the break we have gotten spoiled with a lot of really great Vmin moments. So without much further ado let’s get this started!

There is a lot more Vmin under the cut. You have been warned.

I will cheat a little and start with Taehyung’s birthday bomb, which wasn’t released until 2019. Vmin were very cute in it.

The first time I saw this I couldn’t believe it. Who looks at someone like that while they are feeding them?

The year started of with a lot of good Vmin selcas, but even though we might not have gotten many tweets in total what we did get was still great!

And don’t you all dare forget that Jimin posted this the day after Valentines!

Then admittedly we had nothing in terms of selcas for almost the rest of the year, but thankfully Jimin came through and tweeted for Taehyung’s birthday.

Something big they did this year was of course making songs! Jimin released Promise right at the end of 2018 and Tae (the best photographer) provided the cover photos.

One month later Tae released Scenery. But not without Jimin accidentally spoiling it first.

He was very apologetic about it.

They both supported each other a lot and gave us a lot of cute moments in relations to their songs.

Jimin even sang Scenery and basically just promoted and loved it a lot. But even that was nothing compared to what was to come... I am talking about Winter Bear of course, which Jimin loves so much and has promoted more than anything ever before.

He did three vlives in a row where he gushed about the song and promoted it, and even told us stories about him and Taehyung.

He also mentioned how he wanted to keep the song and his friend (Taehyung) to himself. The name of the first Vlive was even Say hello to me, a line from the song. Basically Jimin is both supportive and possessive in regards to Taehyung.

He sang it constantly and told us he listened to it every night falling asleep to it and even dreaming about it.

True love and support right there! He also gifted Tae the two bears he used on the cover.

Movin on let’s look at the Run episodes of this year, because as usual they provided us with tons of Vmin moments.

It’s actually kind of overwhelming so I had to skip a lot because right off the bat they just...

First Run episode of the year and we already were in for a great start! And who knew we would get to see Vmin hold hands for minutes? I mean, Vmin seems to just have glued their hands together this year.

Stick to my side might as well be the Vmin slogan of the year. :P

And Run just kept on giving…

Tae wants Jimin to be sexy. But not too sexy….

Of course they also took selcas we will never get to see…

And some we did get to see…

The Canada episodes truly blessed us.

We even got to see Vmin share a bed for the first (but not the last) time, even if I don’t have a pic included.

They don’t even have to be on the same team...

Or even win… They still somehow congratulate each other.

Wo do love Vmin on the same team though.

They have both just seemed really happy and carefree this year!

I don’t even know how many times Jimin has said I love you to Taehyung this year… But it’s a lot.

Actually we have seen Jimin trust Tae a little too much.

But let’s move on, because we have much more to go through. This year we actually got some really good vlive moment from Vmin (besides the ones for Winter Bear I mean.). It started with the Grammy vlive.

We had Vmin doing, something… In the Hobi birthday Vlive.

And not soon after we got the infamous Rkive Vlive. Showing us some of the weirdest Vmin behaviours yet.

The clinginess is a lot… I see why they might avoid Vlives alone, because they can’t even behave when they are with someone.

I already mentioned the Winter Bear vlives.

The year also ended well with some nice Vmin from Jin’s Bday Vlive.

We of course also had a comeback with Boy with Luv that Taehyung made sure to add some Vmin to right away.

And Vmin really made sure to make this their song. Love is nothing stronger...

We also can’t forget the Lights MV.

And then for the tour. Obviously we got a ton of Vmin moments.

Special shoutout to Hong Kong.

I mean tours are always good, but the amounts of hugs and happy Vmin.

Tae holding Jimin’s hand to comfort him in Brazil when Jimin was sick and couldn’t sing well.

We also got Tae comforting Jimin in London.

And with this sweet moment, that I was lucky enough to see live, let’s end this post. It’s too long anyways, and will likely crash for many of you. As you may know I started this post in late 2019 but had so much trouble making it as Tumblr didn’t want to save my changes. I tried to remake it several times and at some point just gave up.

Then, I realized that the post is too long anyway and I might as well just post what I had if it managed to save the end part. Meaning this text here. So basically all of this post except this ending part was written and put together years ago. I know it says part 1, but I am not sure there will be a part 2 considering the problem with long posts. Just know 2019 was a great year for Vmin (as every year is), and that I didn’t even get to include everything (note the absence of Bon Voyage for example). But finally it is done! I am so glad it saved this part and the tags. T_T

I’m guessing all Vmins were right Sweet night is about the past. I guess it’s why Tae give it for the movie instead of for his mixtape. I’m guessing JM gave him the ok to do so and why he’s been silent about it cause it’s over between them. TK are making it too obvious. jk treating JM like they aren’t friends suddenly. jk in purple/green all the time. v not shutting up about jk suddenly. JM is not handling it well. I guess it’s why v said he likes JM the most (guess as friend) cause he feels bad

Admin 1: “Sure, go and release a song easily identified as being about us and your hope of me giving you a second chance with a hopeful ending seeing as we aren’t together anymore, sounds like a nice idea to me. Go, Taehyungie, do it. Then also let me hold your hand on national TV and show it to the cameras happily, smile sweetly at you while we stand next to the president, talk about our song and memories and how much they mean to me, perform this song that's essentially a love letter to our bond in a live-streamed concert for almost 800k people, and when you tell me you like me the most, I’ll say I like you a lot as well. Because we’re over and not even friends anymore.” Sounds like some sound logic to me, and I mean that in the most sarcastic way possible to humans.

Honestly, either I’ve just been around too long and all these asks are starting to sound the same and impossibly uncreative, or they are just getting more farfetched and bizarre. If you want a proper answer, I told you, bring something to the table that hasn’t been talked to dust yet, or leave it be.

To quote Tae, the man who knows best what he feels: 95z is love.

Until he (and Jimin) changes his mind, this is the answer I have for any and all Xkooker ask, as well as any other ship involving Tae or Jimin.

Also yes, I did see the hate against Jimin that exploded yesterday, we even have an ask about it in our inbox, and honestly these types of questions, anon? Yeah, you're not helping, in fact, you are part of the problem, just saying.

Admin 2: Man, man, man!

We didn't really want to answer these types of questions anymore, but this ask takes the trophy when it comes to delulu/nonsensical questions, so I decided to answer it after all. Because it’s hot and I need a distraction.

Also, this question basically confirms most of our suspicions we’ve had so far. Let me explain.

Folks, who is behind these kinds of stories which are being presented and preached as truth on various sns?

I don't believe this is any single persons invention (in this case, that anon came up with this idea “without help”), if anything it’s the result of delulu, and often times toxic, scenarios and stories created by a group of people intended to further a narrative and actively disrupt the “peace” within ARMY (or at least that’s what it feels like since all these things do is ignite hate and toxicity). Where is the origin of it all? Ship centric YouTube channels.

It is very evident that these "imaginative creators/shippers" behind those videos have no consideration of the consequences and harm their content does because, in my opinion, the more controversial and clickbait-y, the better. You know why? More views means more money, which is the goal of it all. We’ve spoken about this before, I believe, how these videos on “ship evidence” and “ship drama” for Xkookers are the most beloved topics of these videos and thus make up one of the easiest means of generating income, in some cases even something upward of $80k a year depending on the channels CPM, sub and view count.

The average person has to work hard all year round to make this amount of money, if they even have a job that brings in that much. So, it is not surprising that these content creators go very far in their fantasies to support their claims and keep their viewers/costumers engaged and coming back.

I wouldn't be surprised if the creators (or rather the whole lot of them) of both Xkook camps are basically the same people, because their ideas, conclusions and explanations all sound the same and follow the same nonsensical patters. Which is why we’ve already told you many times that the best thing you can do is stay away from this type of content altogether.

So! Let's analyze this ask a little more:

Ok, let's say Tae wrote "Sweet Night" for Jimin, but in the meantime he has changed his feelings (that's how I understand the question) so he gave the song to the Itaewon Class OST instead of putting it on his mixtape. I wanted to note that Taehyung's mixtape isn't finished yet and we will probably wait many more months for it.

It seems to me that Taehyung really wanted to show his feelings to the world, so he saw an opportunity with the OST, and therefore a quicker release for SN, and took it. The fact is that SN is about the past, but there is also hope for the future, hope for the fulfillment of wishes, which likely did come true judging by how Tae said he wrote SN during tour abroad (so sometimes summer/early autumn 2019 perhaps) and we saw vmin holding hands at the airport on Tae’s birthday in 2019 when they thought no one would see, just three months before SN was released (and likely long schedules for said release since these types of things don’t just happen overnight) and many, many other such things.

“I suspect that JM gave him his consent and why he kept silent about it because it was over between them, TK makes it too obvious. "

And I suspect that Jimin was very touched by Sweet Night and ultimately wrote Friends in which him and Tae sing: “Many promises and memories / and more to come / Someday, when these cheers die down, stay hey / You are my soulmate”

The fact is that BTS didn't say much about SN, but it was the same with many of their other SC releases as well, so it wasn’t unusual, especially since SN came out while they were promoting MOTS7. Also, in my opinion, the content of this song is too personal to be able to describe/discuss the song in detail beyond the bit that was mentioned during Tae’s vlive with Namjoon. During a Japanese interview, the members basically confirmed/pointed out how romantic Tae is and when SN came up, Namjoon “coincidentally” turned around toward Jimin who has a similar facial expression of pressed lips as he did during Let’s BTS.

And here I have caught you, dear anon. I think you're not even looking at the original BH content, but that instead you are basing your conclusions and opinions on manipulative YT ship videos instead because if you would’ve watched the original content like RUN, the recent SOWOOZOO concerts, and interviews, you wouldn’t arrive anywhere near such thoughts and conclusions.

Jimin and JK are still close, also Jimin calls JK his little brother (dongsaeng) and JK describes Jimin (or associates these words with him) as charm and cute. Does there seem to be any kind of conflict between Jimin and Jungkook? Certainly not, no.

You mean their microphone colors? I wanted to point out how Tae wore a yellow shirt during the concert, which is the same color as the chick emoji ARMY associates with Jimin as well as his mic color. LOL.

As far as I know, when Tae has something to say, he will say it, and if he is praising JKs songs, and especially You Eyes Tell which we know is a song Tae liked a lot, that is a good thing. It simply means Tae appreciates the song JK created, appreciates and values his talents and hard work. If the entire band praises Namjoon and his lyrics/contributions on their songs, does that automatically also mean all six are “not shutting up about him” and therefore must be in love and in a relationship with him, or it’s an indicator of it? If anything, it’s merely an indicator that Tae is an honest person and JK did a good job on those songs. Easy as that.

That's my favorite part of the question: "JM doesn't handle it that well. I think that's why I said he likes JM best (as a friend, I guess) because he feels bad."

Personally, I consider myself a person with a great imagination, but I wouldn't really come up with a scenario like that.

How cruel of a person do you think Tae is? Imagine they aren’t together anymore or close anymore, or whatever else you tried to insinuate anon, and then Tae would go on national TV and do this whole thing of asking for the card in his letter to Jimin to be blurred and then said “Jimin-ah I like you the most”? To do something as hurtful as that you either have to be a sadist or an asshole and I’d like to believe even you, anon, don’t think in such a way about Tae, of all people.

Perhaps that’s something dumb teenagers or kids would do, but not adult men in their mid-twenties who see each other every single day, are part of the same team and have to work with each other. This is real life, not a soap opera. If these types of dramas really would be happening within BTS, they would’ve stopped existing as a band a long time ago because no one would be able to live with such actions and people for a prolonged amount of time. BTS are grown men, best friends, even found family, and not actors on a badly written TV show for our entertainment where they act out increasingly stupid relationship drama in which JK somehow ended up being the toy going from hand to hand like he’s not even an actual person anymore.

In summary, this question was written by a child, teenager, or an emotionally immature person naïve enough to buy into outlandish ship narratives.

Anon, hear what the members had to say during FESTA 2021. Make your own conclusions and stop watching and believing the nonsense on YouTube. As Tae said: Get out of your imagination. It’s not good in there.

People say it’s obvious that Tae is Jimin-biased because he always posts Jimin in weverse . But people forget that Jimin is Tae-biased too. Here are some proof:

1. Remember that RUN BTS punishment shirt that Jimin designed? Who was on the picture? Yes, Jimin and TAEHYUNG.

2. FRIENDS, a song written and produced by Jimin, who was it about? Yes, memories of Jimin himself and TAEHYUNG. What do they call each other? SOULMATES.

3. PROMISE, Jimin’s first non-album solo single. What do we see in the cover? “special thanks to v, best photographer”. Yes, TAEHYUNG.

4. In some Run BTS and Bangtan Gayo eps, when Jimin is asked who he wants to team up with.. His answer: TAEHYUNG. Also in BV when asked who he wants to share a room with, answer: also Taehyung

5. WINTER BEAR, Tae’s first Full English song. Who gave the two bears in the cover? YES. JIMIN. Who posted in Weverse and twitter calling it Baby Bear? Who talked about it in three different vlives? Who learned how to play it using a recorder, and showed in an ep of RUN BTs and one of the Vlives. Yes, that’s right, it is JIMIN.

6. In Bring the Soul, Dynamite MV, Blue and Grey when asked what is his favorite part.. Jimin’s answer: Taehyung’s Part. In Run BTS Behind 42, at the very last part it says [Jimin’s Top Pick] “Taehyung was so cute, the ultimate of lovely.”

7. Jimin naturally loves to compliment Taehyung. ALWAYS is an understatement. Lol. He does it with or without Tae around too. He said a funny compliment in Run Ep. 71. During their morning mission, Tae was saying he danced around at the balcony while Jimin and the members are playing. JM didn’t see it obviously but he still sweetly said ‘Really? You’re really good at it’. I mean, he doesn’t even need to see what Tae did, he just automatically compliments him.

8. “I’M YOUR ANGEL”, who does Jimin say it to multiple times? Taehyung.

9. “When talking about Taehyung and I.. There’s no end.”

And the list goes on. Maybe you or your readers can add more too? 💜

Honestly, it’s like this a lot. I mean. Especially when it comes to Vmin, but I think it boils right down to people focusing on Jimin and how he’s treated and not how he treats others/how the other members are treated. It’s why you see videos and posts everywhere that call him the “favorite” of BTS, but I don’t think he is? If anyone is, it’s more like Jungkook. But each member of BTS has a member that their closer to. For Yoongi? I always got the feeling that Jungkook was his favorite. Namjoon? Taehyung. Hoseok? Jungkook. Seokjin? All the babies. And I’m not saying the member I listed is this members favorite. It’s just the one I’ve noticed they favor more from the maknae line.

It’s really just people focusing on what they want to see. Jimin takes care of all the members, yes. But he especially takes care of Taehyung. He clearly favors Taehyung out of the rest of the group. I’m not saying he likes Taehyung better or the members less. He loves them all. He just loves Taehyung differently. And it doesn’t have to be romantic differently. It can be any kind of differently. But it’s pretty clear that Taehyung has a special place in his heart compared to the rest.

Anyway.

10. Bought Taehyung a dream catcher when he had a nightmare. A dream catcher that Taehyung likely still has hanging in his room if the lyrics of Friends are anything to go by.

11. Kept in contact with Taehyung when he couldn’t join the group for BV1 and BV3 for different reasons.

12. Forced everyone, including Yoongi, to say “I love you” in a video that he sent to Taehyung. And then sent his own separate video/photo to Taehyung that we wouldn’t have known about if Taehyung hadn’t shown us. So it either wasn’t included in editing, or (more likely) Jimin did it in private. (BV3)

There are plenty more examples. People can either add some, or I’ll update later as more comes to mind.

[I HAD TO DO THIS SHIT ALL OVER AGAIN, BECAUSE THE FUCKING TUMBLR POST EDITOR GLITCHED AND DELETED EVERYTHING I HAD WRITTEN. SO I TURNED IT OFF =____= ]

That’s one fucked up rom-com, Daisy.

TRACK 01. ‘Butter’ - So I take it this is the Opening Sequence where Character A (protagonist) is shown living the good life. Perfect job, perfect home, perfect neighborhood, and perfect love life alongside Character B. With whom they’ve known since they were childhood friends and later fell in love a-la-soulmates style. Its like nothing could go wrong for them.

TRACK 02. ‘Broken Heart of Gold’ – This the part of the story with the imminent and sudden break up. CharacterB is leaving A for some unknown reason, leaving them heartbroken and walking home alone under the rain. Once home, A begins to see how ridiculously big the place now seems with the absence of B becoming more evident as the minutes tick by. But rather than sitting around sulking about it, A begins to gather everything they can get their hands on (photos, clothes, love letters, ect) and proceeds to burn them on the chimney. Vowing to close their heart to everyone and never fall in love again.

TRACK 03. ‘WHO’ – It’s been 2 years since the breakup. Enter Character C (A’s best bud), who won’t stop pestering A about not going out enough and being such a loner. So like each and every time A caves with a smile to their best friend and agrees to be dragged out to their favorite spot at a local pub to let loose and have some fun. At some point when C gets pulled to the dance floor, A bumps into someone at the bar area who turns out to be their ex lover, B. B tries to talk to A and explain their side and WHY they had to leave, but A is having none of it. They’re not doing this again, it’s been too long, what good are excuses and “I’m sorries” at this point? It won’t take back the pain it inflicted. In the end A tries to walk away from B, the same way B did to them 2 years ago, but B reminds them of the happier times they shared before the separation and how they never stopped thinking about A all the time they spent away from each other and how they’re ready to come back home, this time for good. A is conflicted, but still has feelings for B. Where there was fire ashes remain, they say. That night the two leave the pub together (after dropping off C) and return to what was once their home and make love. (cheesy af, I know)

TRACK 04. ‘Utai IV: Reawakening’ – PLOT TWIST! A is actually a cyborg and they’re just waking up the following morning at a lab after being repaired from the damage they endured during a battle. The first face that comes into view is that of B, another cyborg who’s also the one taking care of/repairing A. B wastes no time in placating A for their recklessness and “I told you so’s”, while A rolls their eyes and throws back some snarky remark that ends with the two arguing childishly until a heavy silence falls between them. Seeing as there’s nothing more to say A begins to retire from the room when B asks them what they dreamed about, but A insists that “it was nothing” and leaves the room.

TRACK 05. ‘Life Goes On’ – Ending scene with A walking out into the rooftop just in time to catch a glimpse of the sunset as well as their world around them. A semi-post apocalyptic scenery meets their gaze. Memories of the past flood their mind, something really bad happened to the world many, many years ago. It all started right after that night… it was March 2020 back then...and B… B had saved A’s life more times than they can count. Suddenly B comes out to join them on the rooftop and smoke a cigarette. The two remain in silence until it begins to get dark and a few stars illuminate the sky, when suddenly B says: “I never got to thank you.”

-“What for?”-

-“For letting me back into your life that night.”-

The two smile at each other once again and the scene ends with A leaning their head against B’s shoulder.

Not gonna lie... this would make a GREAT jikook, vmin or yoonmin fic XD (which reminds me that I DO have something very similar planned for some time ago, just... havent had the time to actually write it TT).

FESTA 2020 - Subunit interviews - Vmin

Hello there~ Now that Festa is over, I can finally breathe and analyse everything. It was a ride for all vminies, that’s for sure!

I want to talk about the Vmin Subunit interview. A lot of very interesting things were said, so buckle up, that will be a long post!

With the song and now the first performance of Chingu, we know that Jimin wanted it to be cute and funny. Everytime they talked about it, they focused on the first part - the one talking about their youth and developing friendship.

Surprisingly (or not), they are very shy about the “let’s-always-stay-together-my-soulmate” part. During the performance, they barely sang it face to face.

When Jimin mentions the “cuteness” of the song, Taehyung says that he did not expect such a lightweight song, and that’s very interesting.

Taehyung said that he expected them to do a “weighty” and “serious” song. Why would a song about a blooming friendship be such a serious matter?

Like always, Jimin’s body language says everything. They surely discussed the question many times : Taehyung prefers serious and romantic songs (Sweet Night being the latest example).

So Taehyung expected to do a serious song about their relationship. But we know that romantic songs between two men are a big no no : Tae’s Christmas Song is still in boxes. Jimin adopted the practical and pragmatic option : doing a lightweight song about youth and friendship, so the song is less controversial. It screams “we’re only good friends”, and at the same time the “soulmate” part is still deep and serious. It surely was the only way to release a song about their relationship without being censored all the way.

That’s why the duality of Chingu is fascinating. It wasn’t “predictable” because even with the cute-friendship-part, it still had the serious-soulmate-part.

About the question “What changed after spending their teenage and twenties together” :

Soulmates at their finest <3 It’s interesting that Jimin mentions patience two times. I remember Jimin’s letter to himself in BV3 :

Be next to people I want to be with Do things I want to do for a long time Do everything I want to do later It will happen at some point

That seems to be Jimin’s philosophy concerning his relationship with Taehyung : be patient. Now is not a good time - in the future they will be able to live peacefully together. One day when this cheer dies down, stay hey You are my soulmate

I think Jimin and Taehyung disagreed on the publicity of their relationship, but they finally accepted the fact that they need to keep it a secret. Taehyung is still out there writing romantic songs about Jimin (and apparently only vminies understand everything *cough* 4 O’Clock *cough*), but nothing is too obvious, because they also keep the distance and friendzone each other all the time.

Okay, that’s incredibly cute. Their relationship has so much more to be, and they want to keep building it stronger than ever. <3

Now let’s talk a moment about 4 O’Clock, shall we.

Taehyung says that he wrote 4 O’Clock after the park-incident. Jimin acts surprised, like he didn’t know that. He looks right, left, at the camera - he seems shy and avoiding. No wonder why, since 4 O’Clock is an ambiguous romantic song - Jimins wonders if it’s okay to say that in front of the camera.

Taehyung doesn’t understand why Jimin seems to have forgotten that fact, and says that he already told him.

Even if Taehyung already told him, Jimin says he had no idea. He could have honestly forgotten that fact, who knows. To hide his embarrassment, he jokes about the incident, trying to close the subject.

Taehyung surely knows that Jimin wants to avoid the subject in front of the camera, but nonetheless, he repeats it : this is seriously how he wrote that song. Jimin jokes again and repeats “you can’t do this” : you can’t go around revealing things like that Tae!

To end this interview, I really was shocked about the GIANT CUT here. Taehyung was saying “We always say it to each other” - and then he was cut. His answer is edited and we will never know. But us Vminies know that it was something along the lines of I love you or something. It apparently was judged inappropriate by the editors, who cutted to them saying a neutral “Good work”.

Tae’s words are surprising, because the only very unexpected things that were said in this edited interview was the reveal about 4 O’Clock, or more details about the Dumpling incident. Option 1 : Taehyung thought that this information really was unexpected by us Option 2 : they said more things and these things were edited out.

Jimin says that they don’t know how this interview will be edited and published - so they don’t really know which segments were cut. When Vmin talk about their relationship, there’s so much to say and so much to keep secret that it’s delicate.

Aaaaaaand we end this on the famous Vmin-Friendzone-Thingy.

They really want to convince us that they are just some very, very ordinary friends. Jimin could mean by that that even if they’re famous, it’s an ordinary friendship like every other. But we know that their bond is a very special one.

Taehyung’s words could have a double meaning here. It could mean : “We’re just two boys in love. It’s not special. We’re not different than any other people. Don’t find it awkward”. Since Korea is not very open to LGBT+ issues, and there are still improvement to see all over the world on this particular question, it’s a sensitive subject. Taehyung is joking around : yes I have written a romantic song about my best friend, no it’s not weird, yes we like to talk about our relationship, no it’s still not weird.

And voilà, my thoughts about the Vmin interview. These are my personal thoughts, and I do not possess the power to read Tae’s and Jimin’s mind, and I do not know anything about the truth of their relationship. I still hope that you enjoyed this analysis! Have a good day~

Vmin bond = underrated. Never seen any confusion or doubt when it comes to others popular ship. but when we talk about Vmin there goes the "false friendship" allegations. you're right can't blame them, on camera they don't seems closer like that. sometimes you just see Jimin being the only one who always interact with him while Tae interact more with the others. So people fall into what they see and use it to descredits their relationship. Well can't lie sometime i'm a little bit confused too.

Hello, If you notice, I have been taking my time in responding to asks lately. I've been trying to sort out my private matters. After doing so, I think I'm presently in the right frame of mind to deal with asks.

So, to begin with, let's examine their behaviors. Vmin's behavior has always been something of a confusion especially in recent years. If we take a look at them now comparing their relationship to how it was in the past, you will no doubt notice a big difference that leaves you asking yourself; Does Taehyung hate Jimin?

It is very true that their relationship is underrated and quite puzzling which makes it all the more suspicious. They say one thing and yet, do another completely different thing.

Now the big question here is why does Taehyung treat Jimin differently from the other members especially when they are in public? That is, with coldness. He seems quite affectionate with the others while with Jimin, he gets distant especially when the other is initiating affection. He's affectionate and does a lot of of PDA. Yet, why does he hesitate when it comes to Jimin?

There could be various reasons for this and I will explain my own version of it. Let me remind you that this is merely a speculation of mine and might not necessarily be true.

Now to me, there isn't really a platonic explanation to why Taehyung seems distant with Jimin. They obviously consider themselves best friends but why isn't that friendship of theirs displayed with each other. Why does it seem like Taehyung likes to distance himself from Jimin. From what I know, this distance began from 2016 when they both stopped doing vlive together and generally started to be apart from each other. (Probably when they started seeing each other seriously). It became more pronounced after the group started filming their documentary in 2018, it all just started to seem worse.

When looking at the lyrics of their song friends, you'll get to discover that not everything seemed rosy between the two of them. They have had both had ups and downs throughout their years of knowing each other but they eventually learned to overcome it and appreciate each other (and are still learning) but despite all these, what is the reason for Taehyung seeming cold to Jimin?

Jimin and Taehyung have always been the most physically affectionate out of everyone in the group. They just love expressing their affections to people however there are some cases when public display of affection isn't something that can be done so easily.

What is PDA to celebrities? It's simply fan service. It's just like acting for the cameras. However, i feel that when you take someone very seriously, fan service begins to seem a bit off. Acting seems quite difficult. Now, Jimin and Taehyung have very different personalities. It isn't difficult for Jimin to display PDA because that's naturally the kind of person he is. Affectionate and loving.

But for Taehyung, it could be quite difficult to do so. To act towards a person he takes very seriously. It could also be one of the possible reasons why they avoid vlive. Because they have to act. Some of the lives seem scripted and monitored especially since the group got popular. Let's say since 2016. If Vmin where is some kind of complicated relationship, then it wouldn't be good if they accidentally slip up and say things they aren't supposed to say.

If we compare his relationship with others to his relationship with Jimin, his behavior seems a bit petty and absurd. He often initiates affection with the other members. With Yoongi, it's like he's forcing him. It's often hilarious but Jimin mostly always has to initiate with him. However, it's not an issue for him since he's naturally like that.

However, when Taehyung decides to intitiate affection, it isn't because he has to act but because he genuinely wants to.

There are some examples.

1. When Jimin was sick during one of their performances and had to perform his parts sitting on a chair.

2. When Jimin was also sick during one of their tours. Taehyung even held his hands and they went down the slide together.

3. When Jimin was heavily emotional at Wembley stadium during the speak yourself tour.

4. When they won an award at GDA. Taehyung actually made Jimin wrap his hands around his waist while they where going to receive their award.

Let's also not forget the spontaneous bouts of affection from Taehyung that sometimes leaves Jimin unprepared.

1. Rm's vlive. Jimin was shocked and unprepared with Taehyung's display of affection that he rudely told him his mouth stinks to push him away.

2. When they danced crazily as if they where in the club on live TV (nothing could be edited). That crazy club dancing happened the day before Taehyung's birthday. (Taehyung actually initiated this crazy moment)

3. When Taehyung gave Jimin a glass figurine (can't really describe it) with a couple kissing inside that left Jimin quite unprepared. He eventually hid it away but we all still saw. (Can't find a video of this moment)

4. When Taehyung ran on stage into a shocked Jimin's arms minutes after Jimin had suddenly given him a kiss on top of his head.

5. Bon voyage season four. When Taehyung called out to an oblivious Jimin in the snow and they suddenly enacted a play and started to tumble in the snow together.

6. Or this gay panic moment when Taehyung initiated affection and the first thing shocked Jimin thought of was to push him away.

But on the rare occasion when Taehyung decides to return Jimin's affections on stage, things get quite intense. I wanted to post more pics and gifs but for now, I'm limited.

(There are many other underrated moments which people have chosen to ignore but these ones stand out to me)

Now, if Taehyung really disliked Jimin, why would he want to sing a song friends with him? Why would he describe Jimin as an angel whom he couldn't believe he had fought with when they argued over dumplings. Why would he insist on singing a rejected Christmas song he had personally written with Jimin? Why would he refer to Jimin as his soulmate? Why would he say 95 liners is love.

The response varies. To antis, their relationship is fake. They are simply pretending. To solos, they aren't seeing what the fuss is all about when they act one way and totally behave another. They are mostly interested in promoting their favorite member. To other shippers, they don't like each other because they are fighting for love. So many reasons but it all still boils down to one thing Fan service.

For someone who doesn't like Jimin, why would he even bother acting like this? To me, he just takes Jimin pretty seriously and finds it hard to act in public probably risking exposing himself. As you can see from the above, Taehyung can be quite impulsive putting both himself and Jimin in awkward situations that requires one of them to act smart immediately to save the situation.

Anyway, Jimin isn't stupid. He wouldn't be forcing himself on to someone who according to some people doesn't like him. He wouldn't try producing a song and singing it with that same someone who doesn't like him, not even for the sake of fan service especially since people aren't that crazy over their ship. For fanservice to actually be fan service, both people have to acknowledge it. They have to be in it together to create a fantastic show for the audience. To get people excited and riled up to talk about them but apparently, vmin isn't like that because there is no fanservice involved. Jimin just wants to be around Taehyung because he likes to even though he seems outwardly cold. He probably knows he has to be like that because of his persona. He has to be careful.

Like I said, this is my own opinion. If people are still going on saying that vmin's relationship is fake, then that is their business. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. As far as I know, they are the ones who know their relationship best. We are only mere spectators. We can only speculate since we aren't living their lives for them. Chingu

친구 (Chingu or “Friends”) was a labor of love for Park Jimin and an ode to one of the rarest, most beautiful male friendships ever brought to the attention of the public.

Looking through the album credits for Map of the Soul: 7, only 2 songs on the whole album list a BTS member as a main producer. Most of the songs have one or more member as a contributing producer/writer (contributors are the names in the parenthesis under the list of producers); that being said, the only two songs with members as main producers are Suga on “Shadow” and...you guessed it...Jimin on “Friends.”

I noticed that on his solo song “Filter,” Jimin actually has no producing credits on it whatsoever. Why? It’d be normal to assume he would want direct creative control on his solo.

From what we know, all the BTS members had intense schedules over the past year...so I think none of the members had time to focus on writing and producing full-time. Thus, my guess is, with Jimin’s busy schedule, he only had time to pour his heart and energy into one thing--and how beautiful that he chose to pour his limited time and love into a long-awaited duet he would record with his best friend in the whole world.

The song chronicles Vmin’s friendship through the years, from when they met in high school in Seoul to the current day. The song mentions the duo’s sometimes rocky relationship at the beginning, when they were still young and headstrong...and forced to spend all their time together, whether they liked it or not, between school, work, and living arrangements. (Which, let’s be real, of course two young people would butt heads sometimes if forced to spend every moment with each other!)

But as time passed and the two matured, their relationship smoothed out and became richer and gained depth in a way that very few male friendships seem to do. “Friends” is a celebration of that friendship, and is filled with inside jokes like Taehyung’s love of Jimin’s miniature-sized pinky, Jimin’s gifting Taehyung with a dreamcatcher during Summer Package 2017, and Taehyung’s old nickname of ‘alien.’

Yet putting all the fun aside, the song beautifully captures Jimin’s fondness and gratitude for the past 7 years of having Taehyung in his life, and he boldly claims he hopes they stay together not only when all their fame dies down, but for eternity. The gospel choir joining them in the joyous, repeated refrain of “You are my soulmate!” is everything summed up about how Jimin feels about his relationship with Taehyung--and I suspect equally how Taehyung feels about Jimin.

I feel so lucky Vmin decided to share this declaration of their feelings and friendship with us. Jimin could have written an impersonal, radio-friendly pop song for his unit with Tae, but he didn’t. He wrote about something dear to his heart and created something beautiful for he and his soulmate to do together and then share with fans. Despite what skeptics may argue, this wasn’t a song to capitalize on or commercialize the 95z friendship. Jimin personally oversaw the production of this song from beginning to end, and he and Taehyung willingly recorded it together because out of the many things that have happened during the 7 years since they debuted, they both agree that their unusually close relationship made those years meaningful. In my mind, there is no way to deny how truly and deeply these soulmates love and care for each other. As Taehyung would say, 95z are love.

Thank you Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung for sharing your talents with us and giving us a glimpse of the kind of true, incredible friendship we all wish we had.

“Min Yoongi,” Jimin glares at him over the bar, crossing his arms sternly over his chest. “If you’re seeing someone and you didn’t tell us I will kick your ass, so help me god.”

This is so good, amazing, incredible. Brilliant. Entertaining as hell.

Summary: A collection of events occurring within (and without) the walls of the Beta Tau Sigma fraternity house. At Beta Tau Sigma, there are only a few rules:

1) have a declared major in the College of Music; 2) keep your GPA above a 3.4; 3) don’t let Taehyung into the liquor cabinet; 4) don’t fuck up with Kim Seokjin. The rest is all fine print.

OKAY, THIS FIC IS THE END OF EVERYTHING FOR ME. My Favorite Fic Of All Time. Nothing is ever gonna top this for me, even House of Cards. This fic has it all, humor, angst, fluff, smut. Everything. Incredible fic. Golden fic.

Summary: taehyung always has bad ideas. and jeongguk thinks this might be the best.

This is so cute and cliché but in a good way, I really love this fic.

Summary: they say that one should fall in love with their eyes open, but Jungkook keeps his closed, and Taehyung is afraid that they’ll fall in all the wrong places.

the concept of strings in space time theory is that on a one dimensional plane, one only has the option of going backwards or forwards in their direction of travel. Jungkook chooses to be swept along into the unknown, with Taehyung as his only anchor.

AMAZING! I really like the plot of this one.

Summary: From a tumblr prompt: Jin is a prince, and Namjoon is his bodyguard.

Jeongguk blushes, and looks at his feet. He’s smiling. “Of course.”

“Really?” Taehyung says. “Like? Or like like?”

Summary: Epenthesis A phonological phenomenon in which two disparate sounds meet, creating a third sound between them which wasn’t there before.

There were a lot of jobs worse than being partnered with world-renowned Absent-Minded Professor Kim Namjoon, but Professor Kim Seokjin couldn’t think of what any of them were at the moment.

THIS! IS! SO! GOOD! Honestly, I’m in love with this fic.

The Mark of an Educated Mind by bazooka | Namjin, Metafiction.

Summary: At three o'clock in the morning after he’d been working for ten hours straight and everything he touched came out wrong and all his words were stilted and clumsy and all his music was rough and tangled… for some ungodly reason Kim Namjoon opened up a new browser window, typed bangtan sonyeondan fan fiction into the search bar, and then (god) hit enter.

LISTEN. This fic is so good it’s almost Beta Tau Sigma and that’s saying a lot because I love that fic. Anyways, the story in this one is great and it has its funny moments as well as fluffy and frustrating ones. Great fic.

This is all cute and fluffy in some parts but deep in others. Beautiful fic, I like the concept.

Even his younger brother would make fun of him while his parents watched with pitying looks on their faces.

This made me cry. At school. No joke my friends were worried. Great fic, read if you want to cry.

Summary: Yoongi likes one night stands and he understands how they work. What he doesn’t understand, however, is how he ended up in bed with a probably-not-legal kid crying in his arms about his broken heart, because he’s pretty sure (and correct him if he’s wrong) that a babysitting job was not what he was looking for when he went to the opening of his friend’s new club.

I read this instead of studying. Really good and interesting, I like the characters.

Yoongi drops the noodles on the floor with a loud curse as he burns his hand.

Or, Taehyung’s been trying his hardest to avoid Yoongi’s criminal life for a long ass time, but a cute kid and his infuriating father keep pulling him deeper into the mix.

Cute and a good read, the concept is awesome and I like the way it’s written.

Summary: Jungkook is the heir to a mob empire, the most notorious in the whole of Seoul. Taehyung is a rookie sent in to infiltrate by his select team and bring the empire crumbling down.

“You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated.”

Trailer. This fic. I have no words. It’s beautifully written and the plot is amazing, really interesting and just plain good. The fic to end all Mafia!AUs. Nothing is ever gonna top this for me. It’s also a long read.

Summary: Yoongi hates dealing with heat cycles and suppressants and life in general. Everything is a terrible mess, and then there’s Jimin to make things a tiny bit brighter.

Now, listen, I don’t really like ABO, but this fic is so good that I wanna like it because if there are any other ABO fics like this gem then I’m in for a treat.

The plot of this series is really interesting, I read it all in one sitting because I just needed more. It’s really good.

Summary: Because Yoongi doesn’t know how this started, or how this will end, but he knows this simple fact: he knows that there is a love between them that is much fiercer than the burning sun. There is that love then, and there is that love now, and surely there will be that same love the next time.

(Or: the one where they’re reincarnated over and over again and Yoongi meets a different version of Hoseok every time but Yoongi is the only one that remembers.)

Ok, this fic made me cry really hard and I’m still affected by it. It’s beautiful and sad and you should totally read it.
