“Hi, [Name].” He greets you back, putting his phone in his pocket. He looks you up and down, observing your outfit.
“You look nice.” he so casually compliments you. You must say, you could feel your cheeks warm. What a strange occurrence.
“Thank you.” You utter, playing with the hem of your shirt.
“Where’d you want to go? You ask him, looking at him with interest, waiting for his response.
“It’s almost sunset, I know a place.” Before you can reply, he takes your hand in his and starts speed-walking on the sidewalk. If others were to see this, they would’ve thought you two were dating, hm.
“Damn, why are you walking so fast?” You ask him, panting. Even if you two were hand-in-hand, you had a hard time catching up with his speed, he’s a bit too swift for his short height.
“To catch the sun set, duh.” His cockiness didn’t seem to change. What a shame.
You both ended up at an abandoned parking lot with many floors, how’d he find this place? If you were being honest, you were frightened by this setting, cobwebs and cockroaches everywhere, ew. There isn’t any trash anywhere, that was a relief.
“Here.” You suddenly hear Scaramouche’s voice. You walk beside him by the edge of the building, you were both staring at the mild orange sky at the top of the car park.
“Wow…” You’re awestruck, it was the first time in a while that you breathed so freely. As if you didn’t have a shit ton of pressure put on you to always be number one, to always be perfect. It’s just you, him, and the fresh air that surrounds you.
“Sit.” Scaramouche interrupts you looking at the sky to invite you to sit down at the edge of the building, your legs dangling.
“How’d you find this place?” You ask quietly, almost like a whisper escaping in to the wind.
“I was out with Childe and Signora. We saw this place while looking for a place to sit down.” He briefly explains. “Ah.” You respond, continuing to look at the view in front of you.
“So… Tell me. How’s you know, your life?” You ask him. Truth be told, in the few weeks he’s been your friend, you haven’t heard much about his life.
“Well, me and Ei still live together, surprisingly. She’s dating Yae, they’ve been hanging out a lot, thank god.” You’re rather surprised he still lives with his mother, you thought he would’ve run away.
“Oh? Auntie’s dating someone? Good for her.” You say, seeing the sun slowly lower as the moon rises.
“So, what about you?” He asks you this time. You sit there thinking about your life. It’s been, more or less, the same since he left.
“Uh, it’s fine, I guess. I have some new friends, my mom’s still pressuring me, it's been driving me crazy. I also have you in my life again.” You didn’t mean to let that last part slip, oops.
“Hm, well. You can’t always wish for everything to go your way, it’s triggering, but you just have to accept it. All you can do is just do it, and hope for the best.” He says, looking at the auburn sky he came with you to see.
“You’re right. But, I can’t accept it. It’s been years since I’ve felt true happiness. Even with my friends, some part of me felt empty. I can’t point it out, nor can I even fill the void.” You sigh, remembering the times you felt this “true happiness”.
“I’m sure you’ll find it soon, [Name]. You’ll never know when you meet the person that will crowd the empty hole.” How is he always right?
“... Thank you, Kuni. I’m glad you’re back in my life. You were the only person I could trust. Everyone seems to suffocate me. But when I’m with you, I can breathe freely with no limitations.” You express. You truly were grateful he’s there again.
“You’re welcome, [Name].” He says, sitting closer to where you were at. You lay your head on his shoulder, admiring the moon’s glow and the many stars that surround it.
It's been years since you've last talked like this. Though he was prideful and cocky, he's still the Kuni that was there for you, through your ups and downs.
That night, you both talk and talk, laughing at every pun and joke you made, thankful that this moment is happening.

Of All People… - scaramouche x fem!reader smau
SYNOPSIS When you, a student who finds her best friend admits the terrors of high school. A best friend who've you'd hated ever since he left. Of all people, why was he the one to make you swoon, a person you swore to hate?
Fun facts!
Scaramouche is very observant. Ergo, he will notice every little thing about you. From your change in style to the way you hold your bag.
You're surprised he still lives with Ei because he always used to talk back and disobey her.
Ei is girlie pop!!
Scaramouche is a natural at giving advice that digs deep down your mind, it stays with you for weeks
Logically, i understand that most of whats on the oldnet was written by someone who was young back then and likely dead right now. Its a little eerie at times, but thats part of the charm.
i don't know if ill ever get used to the memorium pages, though. They fell out of fashion decades ago, and they weren’t in vogue for that long anyway-
And there's still so many of them.
There's always been funerary homes and services, right? People whose job is it to put on a little show for the dead. But when a social media meg tries to do it for someone who barely used their service
When they try to automate as much of it is as possible
i don't know how to describe it. It’s a very unique kind of lonely, seeing an automatically generated online funeral that had zero attendants.
The empty ones are sad, but not in a lingering way. There's so many of them that i'm forced to grow numb to it. The ones that keep me up at night are the pages for celebs.
Influencers, content creators, celebrities, rich&famous, the elites, the one percenters, the taste makers
Every generations got their name for it. Parasocial relationships’ve probably been around since the first written word. So you get people of all ages stopping by, giving their two cents, describing their mourning or venting their sorrow.
Their comments aren't read by the dead, or the page manager, or other visitors, or even by bots. They may not even read it over themselves before hitting ENTER.
So maybe that’s the whole point. It’s like an exorcism or something; just sending those thoughts out into the void. Buried under waves of text and copy-pastes and emojis.
Like ashes scattered at sea
There’s also a lot of hate speech, too.
crushed under the weight of all those thoughts n’ prayers,

Organizing your home, particularly the storerooms, may prompt a sensation of complete rapture. And if you are looking for something affordable, Shutter Shop Wardrobe Interior Designers in Bangalore is the best.
Steps to an Organized Closet
How you arrange your storeroom will contrast somewhat founded on the space you have, the size of your closet, and the sort of life you lead. Be that as it may, these seven general advances can be applied to any storeroom and any closet:
Accumulate your storage room association supplies, including a "throw" bin and a measuring tape.
Void the wardrobe, everything being equal: clothing, shoes, storeroom coordinators, and so forth.
Clean your storage room.
Clean up your closet and give, reuse, or sell the dress things, shoes, and extras you never again need.
Survey your wardrobe stockpiling answers for ensure they fit your storage room space and work with your attire, shoes, and extras.
Arrange your apparel, shoes, and adornments back into your wardrobe by gathering comparable things and moving your most worn things into your storeroom's "amazing property."
Think of an arrangement to keep your wardrobe coordinated so it at absolutely no point ever turns into a favorable place for mess in the future.
What You Need to Organize Your Closet
The initial step to getting sorted out your wardrobe is to guarantee you have the right devices and supplies available before you make a plunge. Fight the temptation to begin this undertaking following a lot of time work. To arrange your storeroom for the long stretch, you must do a little prepare work and set aside opportunity in your schedule when you have a few hours to focus on this interaction. (There are other, more modest getting sorted out projects you can chip away at when you have less time) says designers of Shutters for kitchen and Wardrobes.
Here is your fast storeroom association tool stash:
Shopping packs: Use strong sacks to move garments to the gift place, designer, and more clean. On the off chance that you don't have packs, boxes and containers will do when there's no other option says Shutter Shop Wardrobes Cabinets Manufacturers in Bangalore.
Measuring tape: Measure racking and hanging space. Remember a scratch pad to write down your wardrobe's estimations.
Full-length reflect: To settle on "throw" and "keep," ensure your mirror can oblige your whole picture says Shutter Shop designers of Floor to Ceiling Sliding Wardrobe in Bangalore.
Get all bin: This incorporates spare change, papers, elastic groups, pins, wads of money (score!), and arranged receipts you'll find in pants pockets. BIG , LONG GORE / HORROR PROMPT MEME --- send 🩸 for a randomly generated gory prompt OR pick a number for a prompt ! all prompts under the cut cuz the list gets a bit long !
i don't have much in mind story wise, but i'm thinking it takes place under the same conditions as worlds collide, which i insist on believing also happened nearly identically offscreen in the game timeline because nobody can tell me otherwise. fairly basic setup of eggman and wily teaming up to cause problems on purpose and sonic and rock working together to stop them, and now there's wisps in the mix >:O i'm sure i could think up a fun excuse plot for why sonic colours happens twice and also mega man is here now, but mostly this was just an excuse to put the special interest in the hyperfixation and come up with some fun weapons for rock based on my first and favourite sonic game
each robot master is based on a wisp from either version of the original colours, which causes a little confusion given that you end up with two burst men and drill men but these ones have different EWN-XXX serial numbers and are entirely unrelated to their canon mega man counterparts. i haven't actually drawn the robot masters yet or thought up designs or personalities, just come up with their weapons and what stage they'd inhabit, but maybe i'll do that sometime. the robot masters are something like this
EWN-010 BURST MAN - weak to drill dash, gives bursting blaze, sweet mountain stage
EWN-011 ROCKET MAN - weak to cubic satellite, gives rocket jump, terminal velocity stage
EWN-012 DRILL MAN - weak to spike spin, gives drill dash, tropical resort stage
EWN-013 HOVER MAN - weak to rocket jump, gives hovering shockwave, starlight carnival stage
EWN-014 LASER MAN - weak to frenetic void, gives prism laser, aquarium park stage
EWN-015 CUBE MAN - weak to prism laser, gives cubic satellite, wii game land stage
EWN-016 VOID MAN - weak to bursting blaze, gives frenetic void, asteroid coaster stage
EWN-017 SPIKE MAN - weak to hovering shockwave, gives spike spin, planet wisp stage
i wrote up some really detailed information on how all the weapons work but i'll put that under a cut to prevent this post from getting too long! if you don't feel like reading massive paragraphs of game design ideas, here's the microsoft paint scribblings i did of all of them [sonic is there too]
BURSTING BLAZE
a chargeable attack that blasts out a sphere of fire to deal damage. charging it longer sends the fire out further and increases its damage output, but costs more weapon energy. without any charging it's a pretty standard low-range attack, but at maximum charge it functions as a screen nuke on par with the likes of rain flush, tornado blow, or astro crush. if rock takes damage while charging bursting blaze, he'll automatically release it at whatever charge level it was at when he got hit. in addition to the obvious usefulness of a fucking screen nuke, a less- or uncharged bursting blaze can be a handy way to quickly get some personal space in a tight situation.
cost: 1 unit when uncharged, 7 when fully charged [28 uses uncharged or 4 fully charged from a full gauge]. has five in-between charge levels costing 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 units from least to most powerful.
i came up with this name first because i wanted it to have blaze in it because i fucking love blaze the cat.
ROCKET JUMP
an explosion that launches rock much higher than a normal jump would take him, about the height of one screen. in addition to the explosion at the bottom dealing damage, rock's body deals contact damage until his upward momentum stops, which tears through enemies with low health or a weakness to rocket jump but doesn't protect him against bulkier foes or stage hazards. while he can still move left or right while rocketing upwards, the only way for rock to stop moving upwards is to either naturally run out of momentum, hit a ceiling, or take damage.
some platforms can only be reached by using rocket jump.
cost: 3 units per use [10 uses from a full gauge]
obviously a joke based on the rocket jump technique in a lot of video games, lmao. rock blows himself up and ragdolls so hard he clips out of the interstellar amusement park and sonic watches as he falls past every kill plane and into infinity forever
DRILL DASH
a dash attack slightly faster than the slide going straight down, sideways, or diagonally down-left or down-right, similar to the pile driver but shorter and without upwards reach. has fairly low attack power, equivalent to two mega buster shots, but pushes surviving enemies back, allowing them to be hit again and again with a chain of drill dashes. underwater, it moves significantly faster and further, and can be fired up as well as down, unlocking eight-directional dashing.
if rock hits a solid wall he'll bounce off of it, but if he hits certain types of dirt-like walls he'll drill into them, which can uncover helpful items like health and weapon refills and occasionally 1-ups or e-tanks [probably in scripted locations].
cost: 2 units per use [14 uses from a full gauge]
i've never played mighty no. 9 but i've seen footage of like the dash thingy he can do? because it probably looks kinda like that.
HOVERING SHOCKWAVE
fires a shockwave that doesn't hurt any more than a standard mega buster shot [unless the enemy in question is weak to it], but stuns most enemies and has a fairly decent range. if you fire it in midair and then hold down the attack button, rock's falling speed will decrease dramatically, and he'll continue to float until either he hits the ground, the attack button is released, or he takes damage. hovering will cost additional energy, and if hovering shockwave is used in midair it can't be used again until rock hits the ground at least once.
cost: 1.5 units per use [19 uses from a full gauge], plus an extra 3 units per second of hovering, for a total of a little under 9 seconds of hovering taking the initial shot into account.
this one's pretty directly lifted from the hover wispon in sonic forces.
PRISM LASER
a laser projectile that either bounces off or goes through anything it hits a set number of times, maybe three to five. if it destroys an enemy its movement is unchanged; if it hits a wall or an enemy that doesn't immediately die to it then it bounces instead. can be fired in all eight directions, but once fired its trajectory is out of the player's hands. basically imagine gemini laser, then imagine it being obscenely better in every conceivable way. best used in enclosed rooms where it can bounce around a lot and doesn't have much opportunity to get lost offscreen.
some rooms have prisms in them like the ones in colours that automatically redirect prism laser, guiding them to destroy enemies blocking paths and the like.
cost: 6 units per use [5 uses from a full gauge]
cyan laser was my favourite colour power when i was a little baby because haha bright colour funny sound go wheeee. prism laser is probably overpowered because of this bias lmao.
CUBIC SATELLITE
summons four [?] orbiting cubes that shield rock from one hit each. they deal damage to enemies they touch unless said enemy is immune to the power. standard shield weapon, blue cube is a lame overly situational gimmick and i couldn't think of anything better. rock can still fire and charge his mega buster while shielded, but obviously can't use any special weapons. every time a cube is destroyed, the remaining ones spin faster, looking something like the tubinaut badnik from sonic mania. that's just a visual effect i don't know what else to write here it's a shield weapon.
cost: 3.5 units per use [8 units from a full gauge]
i think i'd like shield weapons more if i knew how to use the attacking ones to actually attack. i used leaf shield about 3 times in mega man 2 and every time i flung it in the wrong direction and got hit anyway.
FRENETIC VOID
sucks in any enemies that rock is facing for as long as the attack button is held down, drawing them to a point just in front of him. when released, the blasters on his arms [which in this form morph to look like the purple frenzy mouth] crunch down in front of him, dealing slightly more damage than a charged mega buster shot to anything that's been pulled in close enough and knocking back anything that isn't destroyed. rock can't move while using frenetic void, and if anything hits him while he's vaccuuming he drops the move without the finishing bite or knockback. this move can also draw in most types of bullets, which are absorbed and disappear if they reach the void, or continue in whatever direction they were pulled in if the move ends before they get there.
cost: 3 units per use [10 units from a full gauge]
i thought it'd be cool to combine purple frenzy and violet void somehow. i used void for the robot master name because i believe in sonic colours ds port supremacy, but the decision was ultimately pretty arbitrary.
SPIKE SPIN
what top spin wishes it was. a close-range attack where spikes emerge from rock's body as he does a speen, giving him a somewhat bigger hitbox. when he hits an enemy, he bounces off of it in a manner similar to the way sonic bounces off of everything he hits. the move lasts as long as the attack button is held down, draining weapon energy over time, and rock can still walk and jump while speening. some projectiles will bounce off of spike spin [generally small bullets like those from mets or sniper joes will bounce off while anything stronger will still hurt], and holding the move makes rock immune to spikes, allowing him to walk over them safely until his weapon energy depletes.
some items may be tucked away in places that are difficult or impossible to reach without walking over spikes, requiring the use of spike spin to reach them.
cost: 4 units per second, for a total of 7 seconds of spinning from a full gauge. the first unit is depleted the moment the button is pressed so the move can't be scummed into lasting longer.
honestly now that i'm thinking about this i might change spike spin to act a little more like how pink spike spindashes, but i was overcome by a desire for justice for top man.
i don't know how to end this post lmao but i've been thinking about this crossover for days on end. i know damn well it's a pipe dream but right now i'm in just the right mode of hyperfixation that if sega and capcom announced a sonic/mega man crossover in a video game that isn't smash lmao i would ASCEND

Collecting links to all posts for the Hermitcraft Voided AU here, both my own and anything by anyone else (reactions/additions, and especially questions, are welcome).
Am ordering by post time, rather than content type, to show the AU’s development.
Any posts containing shipping are marked in red so people who don't like it can avoid it. Shipping content is not necessary to understand this AU, but I want to accomodate all parties.
MASSIVE restock for BattleTech from Iron Wind Metals...and this isn't even ALL of it!
PLEASE REMEMBER...I'm out with my kids this weekend for some fun before they go back to school, so there will possibly be a delay in shipping depending on order volume.

The mid-Clone Wars interplanetary disaster SBURB session, EXPANDED UPON
because apparently I am actually writing a little and apparently I need All The Details JUST IN CASE they come up.
Kes Del Ahto, Jedi padawan - Rogue of Time - Started the game believing it to be a training simulation. Went grimdark approximately forty minutes after waking up on Derse, a few hours after entering the Medium, less than a day after the entry chain started. Stayed grimdark for quite some time. Eventually came out of it, went god tier, and started time traveling to try to keep the session on track. Derse dreamer; Land of Pits and Pendulums; consorts are bats; sprite is a translator droid T1-016 "Teeone"; "house" is the small-ish courier ship she was traveling on with her Master, surrounded by a little bit of urban landing bay; no ridealongs.
Reshay pon-Resh, Jedi padawan - Heir of Space - Started the game believing it to be a training simulation. Force perception plus Space player Skaia dreams equals severe information overload and a pretty nasty depersonalization episode. Fortunately he already had a “friends with benefits”/“totally not an attachment we are padawans in good standing we would never do that” Thing going on with the Bard of Doom, and leaning on that is stabilizing. Prospit dreamer; Land of Webs and Frogs; consorts are large spiders who have to be talked out of cocooning all the frogs; "house" is treehouse guest house on heavily forested planet; sprite is catlike pest-catching domesticated animal that came with the guest house, and it needs to be talked out of hunting the spiders; no ridealongs unless you count the juvenile offspring of the pest-catching domesticated animal.
Kiriata Veyd, Jedi padawan - Seer of Void - Started the game believing it to be a training simulation. After waking up on Prospit and seeing Skaia, makes what she believes to be a rational decision to turn to the dark side in order to destroy the game. It takes a while to really deal with this. Prospit dreamer; Land of Mist and Vortex; consorts are salamanders; "house" is stilt-house guest house in shallow water; sprite is mounted large fish-thing off the wall; one ridealong of a local who invited himself to visit in hopes of pushing the padawan to commit to interference in local politics when they're there to fight Separatists, not sorry to see HIM kidnapped.
Nalbir Ikubwe, Jedi padawan - Bard of Doom - Started the game believing it to be a training simulation. Decides that waking up on Derse would clearly be a terrible idea, so he will avoid it by only micronapping. Doesn’t so much have a dark side fall as a series of close calls, plus deciding fuck the Code about halfway through. Derse dreamer; Land of Bones and Pitchers; by 'pitchers' it means giant pitcher plants and it's kind of disturbing; consorts are iguanas; "house" is his rooms in the Temple; sprite is a cleaning droid not normally able to talk which is apparently really enjoying the opportunity to share all of its opinions; no ridealongs.
Miry Yivan, Jedi padawan - Sylph of Life - Started the game believing it to be a training simulation. More in tune with Living Force normally, and freaking out about how cavalierly the game treats living things, not to mention disoriented by things like sensing the effects of additional entries, are dreamselves alive exactly, etc. Abandons questline to try to get Prospit and Derse to make peace. Derse dreamer; Land of Tides and Cyanobacteria; consorts are (sea) turtles; "house" is the annex of a field hospital which they did try to evacuate when they saw the meteor incoming; sprite is a medical droid; several ridealongs.
CT-1017 a.k.a. Cloudy, cadet Clonetrooper - Knight of Heart - Started the game believing it to be a training simulation. Feels desperately isolated due to absence of other clones. When he gets more information about the whole setup, freaks out because he feels like he has more in common with the carapacians, runs away to Battlefield, eventually located camped out with WV. Prospit dreamer; Land of Mirrors and Blossoms; consorts are kakapos; "house" is the Kaminoan medlab where he was getting a broken ankle fixed; sprite accidentally prototyped with an extremely freaked-out Kaminoan killed during entry who isn't taking it well.
Sheni Redrock, Tatooine slave - Witch of Hope - Started the game believing it to be something dangerous she wasn’t supposed to be messing with. Brought along a half-dozen or so other slaves her age or younger. The game really hasn’t made her life worse in any way. Prospit dreamer; Land of Logs and Lichen; consorts are squirrels; "house" is slave quarters but actually a house for a change; sprite is an overseer who REALLY isn't taking it well; half-dozen or so younger ridealongs.
Selwé Eniterre, Naboo Handmaiden - Maid of Light - Started the game believing it to be a game. Feels like she deserted her post, and this is absurd, but since we’re here we should try to win. Derse dreamer; Land of Snow and Steam; consorts are rabbits; "house" is upscale hotel room; sprite was personal data attendant which may have been a mistake; no ridealongs.
Evander Daliet, separatist heir - Prince of Blood - Started the game believing it to be a game. Feels very outnumbered by all the Jedi, especially since they all seem to be losing it. Derse dreamer; Land of Glass and Scaffolds; consorts are nakkodiles; house is actual house and it's rather large; sprite prototyped with a piece of jewelry containing gems made from compressed ashes of like four generations of ancestors which was definitely a mistake; ridealongs of a single younger sibling and some servants.
Teyla Aalit, Coruscanti criminal - Mage of Breath - Started the game believing it to be a game. On the one hand they definitely need to win this thing and the handmaiden and separatist heir are the only others who seem to be paying much attention to that, but on the other hand they’re arguing constantly and no one is paying her to mediate fights about a war she doesn’t care about. Prospit dreamer; Land of Shear and Diamonds; as in windshear; consorts are gila monsters; "house" is a parking garage office she was squatting in; sprite is a reprogrammed traffic cop droid; no ridealongs unless you count a bunch of single-occupancy vehicles with very distraught owners back on Coruscant.
"Alright, this may hurt a bit." James softly said as he took off the back piece of metal on the android's head and carefully putting it on the steel table beside him. James' eyes momentarily look at the android's form that was sitting rather stiffly on a stool, wanting to see if it expressed an emotion. Anything at all. James let out a small sigh as he saw nothing but a blank look on the android. Despite the back of it's scalp open as the doctor did took it off to insert some adjustments on it, the android seemed indifferent.
"It is alright. I do not feel any pain as you do not equipped me with pain receptors, Doctor." James let out another sigh on the android's answer as he maneuvered himself to have a better access on it's scalp. Shaking his head as he continue to prod inside the android's head, carefully not to touch the other components inside as he inserted a small disk on the android's central processing unit to modify it's system for tomorrow's test run.
"Yes, but I just wanted to let you know." James softly said. The android kept quiet, making the doctor frown a bit. James slowly tried to connect the disk on [Name]'s central system as he shifted his gaze on the holographic computer screen on the metallic table beside him. He momentarily gazed at the digital numbers of the clock on the monitor and his frown deepen, remembering what happened a few hours ago.
True to their word. CyberLife did wanted to sent out the newly activated RK850 for a test run on it's system and capabilities. The doctor was rather against on it and begged for them to deploy the android another day as he stated that he had to adjust some stuff on the RK850 and also, to insert graphic interface, Zen Garden and Amanda inside the android's mindscape.
The higher ups of CyberLife agreeded on his request with a bit of conflict in interest at first but nevertheless, James still had time to enjoy his moment with his creation before CyberLife had to take and deploy it the following day.
James frowned when he remembered the argument and begging he did that day earlier. He was so desperate to at least have a bit of time to grasp his creation for even a small fraction of time until it would be taken away from him.
It was not the first time the higher ups of CybeLife had done that as many other engineers that worked there had their creation taken away to be mass produced. The only difference between James and them is that they did not mind the work they did were to be taken away from them. Either way, James wanted to at least spend time with the android, even if it's just for a little bit.
"Doctor, is everything alright?" [Name]'s voice snapped James out of his thoughts as the doctor look at the back of the android's open head. He seemed to unconsciously finished inserting the device inside while he was in his own thoughts.
"Doctor?" James immediately sent a small smile on the android despite it was not looking at his direction.
"Yes, I'm fine." He softly said as he turn his body around to face the table beside him and immediately took action on typing on the holographic keyboard to input the needed codes to start up the android's modifications.
The doctor's gaze shifted a bit on the stiffly sitted android, who was only looking at what was in front of it rather emotionless. James seemed to feel uneasy as he was rather unsettled to see the android seemed to not take mind that the back of it's skull was missing and was displaying one of the vital and fragile parts of it's existence, the Mind Palace.
Shaking his head, he went back to gazing at the holographic screen and type the codes he needed to modify the RK850. A few minutes past, only the small noise of the doctor's typing can be heard in the lab and it made James uneasy. The silence was suffocating him and he didn't like it one bit. Sparing another glance at the android behind him, the doctor seemed to be surprised as he saw the android was looking at him.
"I-is there a pro-"
"My scanners indicates that you are experiencing high levels of stress. Is there anything probleming you to cause you have such levels of stress?" [Name]'s voice made the doctor flinch a bit. It was so robotic. Despite the android was made with human-like attributes and even sounded like a human, it was dull and void of any emotion. Making James remember that it's in the android's program to 'worry' as it was a prototype medic after all.
James gave a small smile as he waved off what the android had said and continued on with his work. "Don't worry about it. It's normal." The RK850 seemed to furrow it's brow. It's LED flickered yellow for a bit as it processed what the doctor had said.
"It is not advisable to have such high levels of stress, Doctor." James softly sighed as he shake his head from what the android had said. He turn his head around and just gave the peering android a smile. "Like I said, don't worry about it."
It was quiet as the android did not pressure the doctor's health again, although it was taking a mental note to remind the male to take care of himself later. James seemed to be a bit tense on the awkward silence that abruptly appeared again. His thoughts were all around him as he wished the android continued to talk or ask questions. Anything to escape the silence but alas, it did not said anything else and just kept quiet.
Minutes past until James couldn't really take the silence anymore. The doctor let out a frustrated sigh as he stopped encoding and tried to search around for his phone. Muttering small curses as he did. "Where is it..."
The small commotion of the doctor made the android look back at his direction. Tilting it's head as it's LED flickered yellow while it watched what the male was doing. "Is there something wrong, Dr. Morrison?"
James turned his head towards the android's direction when he heard the android asked and immediately shook his head as he gave a smile. "Nothing's wrong, [Name]. I'm just trying to find my phone to play some tunes as I work." He explained as he noticed the android was already standing up and was keeping mind on it's still half opened scalp.
"Do you require assistance, Doctor?" James smiled as he nodded his head. "If you wouldn't mind. Yes, I do." The android's LED blinked yellow for a second to register James' command as it then nodded it's head. "Very well."
「 FIND DR. MORRISON'S PHONE 」
⸢ 🔒[...] ⸥
The android walked towards where James was as it scanned the area to find the missing device. It's objectives always reminding what it needed to do each scan it took. The LED of the android flickered yellow for a second as it stood in front of the metallic table where James' was at, also trying to look for his phone as he mutters small incoherent words although the android fully heard it since it's hearing was much more advance than a human.
"God... I swear I put that here... Where is it, damn it." The android did not mind the constant muttering of the doctor as it's [Eye color] eyes scanned the messy table. Scanning every item it saw was deemed important by it's program for future use and to find the objective phone. It momentarily paused as it held it's gazed on a black colored device that was hiding behind some stray files.

The android's LED flickered yellow as it processed the information it received. After it gathered all the information on the device, it's LED went back to blue. Coming closer to the side where it saw the device, the android lean a bit as it carefully shuffled the files away. Once it saw the see through glass of the device, the android slowly picked it up as it's LED blinked yellow for a few seconds then returned to it's natural blue hue. It's objectives updated as it did.
「 DR. MORRISON'S PHONE FOUND 」
⸢ 🔓 [ REPORT TO DR. MORRISON ] ⸥
Already gotten new objectives to follow, the android straightened it's form as it held the glass like device carefully on it's hand. Looking around the area to find the doctor only to see him on the other side of the room, still frantically searching for his phone which was now in the hands of the android. Immediately knowing where the James' location is, the RK850 model began walking towards the doctor's direction.
The android seemed to caught on James' incoherent mutterings again and it tilted it's head a bit on what it heard as it walked toward the doctor. "Damn it. I'm so stupid to forget where my phone is. God damn i-"
"Doctor?"
James momentarily paused his mini break down when he heard the android's voice asking for his attention. Looking at the direction of the voice, James saw the android standing a few feet away with the missing device on it's hand.
"I have found the device you are looking for." The android reported as it held the phone up for the male to see. James immediately walked towards the android as he took his phone.
"Thank you! God I don't know what'll happen if you haven't found this, [Name]!" The doctor happily stated as he swiped the device's screen and immediately went to the music app as it unlocks to browse to the songs and picked one. The android nodded it's head as it gazed towards James' form which was now walking towards the metallic table again.
「 FOLLOW DR. MORRISON 」
Getting new objectives, the android did as it walked towards the doctor who was now seemed happily connecting the device to the lab's system. Scanning the doctor, the android noted how the male's stress levels decreased as he looked at his phone then to the holographic screen. The android's audio processors heard the soft tune of the music that James' picked as his phone was connected to the lab's sound system for the music to play.

THE SCIENTIST
ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀ ʙᴀʟʟᴀᴅ
ʀᴇʟᴇᴀsᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ - 2002
The android looked at the doctor again as it finished processing the song choice. It seemed to made the android rather perplexed to found out the male enjoyed those kinds off music, especially an out dated one at that, but it made no comment. Shifting it's arms to put behind it's back while it waited for the doctor to finish encoding it's new modifications on it's system. The RK850 stood there and occasionally looked around it's surroundings.
As the android just stood there stiffly, James began working again after he connected his phone to the lab's sound system and played the song. He seemed more relaxed as he began typing the missing codes for awhile as he occasionally look behind him to see the android just standing, rather stiffly yet awkwardly he noted which made a smile appeared on his face.
He saw the android looked at the area, scanning to familiarize it's surroundings. Shaking his head, the doctor went back to work. A small frown on his lips as he focused on the holographicscreen. 'The faster I finish, the faster I get to spend time with him until she activates...'
