Purposefully mischaracterizing characters for angst (ex: Dick sent Tim to Arkham, my beloathed. also again see Tim's parents)

Trying really hard to nuclearize the family. They are an unconventional family for many reasons, and that's why they're interesting.

i was waiting at the bus stop with this family and the youngest kid kept doing some weird stretches on the seat (the bench at the bus stop is really narrow like probably 6 inches wide and slightly curved) and after like 5 minutes he went to his mom and was like the bench is slipping (poor kid was trying to sit but he was too short 😭) and then like a minute later his elder brother was offering his thigh for the kid to step on to get on the seat. the younger one basically stamped and pushed his brother like 6 times to get on the seat before he finally got to sit (yay!) and then not even a minute later got off to tell his mom about something 😭 he only realized his folly after another minute when he came back to sit and then his poor elder brother, bless his heart, offered his thigh AGAIN another 5 times but the younger one kept slipping off 😭 the elder kid then put his drink on the side to just finally lift his brother onto the seat and he did that like another 4 times until his brother could finally sit (for 5 minutes bc that's when the bus was due lmaooo) but it was just the sweetest thing i've seen 😭😭😭

#meanwhile the eldest brother was constantly playing some game on his phone and the parents were just watching djfjskfskdk #anyway that middle child is a sweetheart fr with the patience of a saint bc if my brother stamped on me 10 times to sit and immediately- #-got off i would NOT offer my thigh up again! learn ur lesson kiddo! #anyway i was annoyed for the first 5 minutes bc i was holding onto a v precariously covered box of sweets from work and i was like if this- #-kid falls on me bc i didn't realize he was trying to sit.... but by the end i was smiling fully at them
