My local cinema’s IMAX theater has two doors and a ramp between it and the rest of the cinema so it’s Quite Removed and the walls are Insulated as per the IMAX usual. During a critical scene in Killers of the Flower Moon we could suddenly hear swifties SCREAMING at the top of their lungs in the cinema’s *hallway* (not even another theater just the hallway) and it went on for so long my dad actually got up and went into the hallway. I do not know what he said to them but suffice to say it was quiet from then on.
