Hey I'm working on my Welcome Home au, which is like a next generation sort of thing. Anyways, I have a few questions to ask you. I already have a few characters (4 in total), which includes; Angel Dear (Eddie's daughter), Sunny Brightly (NOT the Bluebird), Mira Pillar (Howdy's niece), and a Halloween exclusive character, Raine Drop. I was thinking about some new ones, but I can't decide. If you have any character ideas, I'll happily listen if you put them in the comments! I also have characters which are like their voice actors, Sammy for Angel, Seong for Sunny, Brianna for Raine, and Phoebe for Mira.

New neighbors Au - Wordgirl x Welcome home chapter 3

Somewhere in a darkened room, a figure sat. They placed down their phone. Eyes from the darkness stared silently watching. They stared back.

"….Beautiful Dreamer, wake unto me, Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee…"

…..

"Ah..ah-CHOO!"

Blu woke up, she felt something tickling her nose. Rubbing her eyes. She remembered feeling drawn to the TV, she could faintly hear out Becky's voice. It Sounded worried. And the rest was blank. Well aside from hearing someone sing. She sat up.

Looking around she realized she was in a field of flowers. Purples, blue's reds and pretty much every color of the rainbow. looking around some more, the 8 year old spotted her siblings laying down nearby. "Becky?" She calls out. "Chase?" She stood up walking closer to them. Their eyes slowly opened, as they woke up.

She instantly noticed something was off about her siblings.

"Becky…you're red!" She gasps. "And chase you're…really blue…"

Her siblings looked down at themselves. A confused expression was on their face. Chase looked at Blu. "Blu…you're purple.." he points out. Becky looks at her as well.

Her eyes widened, staring down at her hands. They were purple… She was also very much missing two fingers, one from each hand. "Whoa…"

She then remembered squeaky was in her pocket. She tried looking for the mouse. "Squeaky?"

Becky and Chase looked around for Bob, noticing they didn't spot him as well.

The kids heard two low groans. They walked closer seeing a white mouse looking puppet and a monkey looking one.

"Squeaky's head hurt…" the mouse said, still groaning in pain. The monkey puppet sat up and stared at the Boxleitner kids. "Becky..chase…Blu?" He said. He couldn't believe his eyes.

Nor could they for the matter. Blu was the first one to snap out of shock. She smiled widely.this dream was strange…but she liked how almost everyone was in it. It was just so silly!

"Squeaky!" Blu ran up to the fiend and hugged him. He let out a startled squeak as the girl practically tackled him. "Pinkie let go of squeaky" he said with his shrill voice. "No!" Blu said.

Meanwhile, Becky and Chase have a look of concern on their faces. "How did we get here…?"

Bob shrugged looking around. "I honestly don't remember?" They just remembered being at home and then the rest was blank. Sitting in this field was peaceful. The breeze was comforting but they knew they had to get back home….wherever home was at this point.

However the small group didn't have time to ponder on that as they saw a red figure walking nearby them. As it got closer it seemed to be a bird…?

Yeah a big red bird. Sorta reminded them of something from Sesame street….

As the bird got near, it began noticing them. A look of shock crossed its face.

"Oh dear," The bird asked. "Are you kids lost?"

"I hate to say this…" Chase said to Becky. "But I don't think we're in Fair city anymore"

Notes on a "next gen" welcome home au.

(i really just wanted to design chars and make characters we had older.)

Wally and Howdy are single dads

Wally has two kids, Jonesy Darling and Wendy Darling.

Howdy has a daughter, Unamed for the time being

Eddie and Frank have a daughter, Frankie Frankly-Dear

Barnaby adopts a pup named him Clover C. Beagle

Sally is everyone's honorary aunt. Poppy is the honorary grandma/great aunt.

Julie, is nowhere to be found. She disappeared one day.

Wally and Barnaby are in The big city! Wally is Barnaby's manager for his shows!

Eddie and Frank are still in the neighborhood along with Poppy and Howdy.

Sally is also in The big city! Being the star she is!!

I believe storks literally dropped off all the kids.

Story in mind atm (might change)

In my mind the children are in their late teens.

Frankie is getting ready to go to school somewhere out there.

Something, bad is happening and she starts getting letters from a 'secret admirer'

These letters are not about her. All that's written is coded paragraphs. She spends her time decoding them.

Clover seems to be a big part of these messages. She fears for their safety.

Misc notes:

Jonesy Is a carbon copy of Wally, Minus the nose and the horns. He also inherited his love for apples.

Frankie is insanely smart, clearly gifted from a young age. Frank made sure to nurture this "gift", She is also anxious all the time.

Clover is Moderately autistic, He was also mute till he was 6. He is selectively mute. He also has a huge crush on Frankie.

Wendy's personality would be Julie's copy and paste. She looks like both Jullie and Wally.

Howdy's daughter runs the bodega while Howdy's out on vacay.

Howdy's daughter is the oldest at 19. Jonesy is the second oldest at 18. Frankie is right after him only a couple months younger than he. Wendy is 17. Clover is the youngest at 16.

Jokes aside, I'm back with another alternate universe for all of my whopping 12 followers (love y'all btw /gen). In this AU, Sun and Moon are the products of you trying to use a Youtube video on how to manifest characters into real-life out of curiosity. As the saying goes, however: curiosity kills the cat (or makes the cat the object of affection between a duo of maybe-demons-maybe not. Such is the case for Y/N in these AUs.)

I might make a short fic of this someday, hopefully soon! It's something I brought up with @icedmetaltea in a past ask (thanks for letting me ramble to you btw LMAO), but I've actually been thinking about ways to expand on this AU further than just a "what-if" scenario. I also like dumbass Y/N so plus!

"Malicious Sun and Moon AU" (a.k.a you accidentally summon two possible demons in your house but at least they're cute)

You're an avid fan of unusual and unearthly concepts/things, but you wouldn't consider yourself an expert on the knowledge of summoning. Still, like a dumbie, you went with a strange Youtube tutorial you find and do a ritual out of sheer boredom. Like a dumbie.

At first, you didn't think it worked, but when you wake up the next day with two robots practically breathing down your neck, you silently rejoice and welcome Sun and moon into your home.

Tensions arise constantly, however, from the perpetual arguments between the two of them. you expected them to be more nicer to one another, considering you wanted to summon the unglitched versions of them.

Now that you think of it, both of them seem to already be massively possessive of you in their own ways, only getting worse by the day. You didn't mind their distinct differences in appearance from their canon counterparts at first, but as they become rapidly worrying in their behaviors.

The situation escalates as sun and moon want to always be by your side, soon insisting you stay at the home with them forever and always.

You begin to think you fucked up the spell.

P.S.! Sun's design is partially based off of @/glitchysquidd's inverted au! (Not tagging them directly because I don't want to be weird and suddenly show up in their notifs for no reason dhbjdjxn)

[Unrelated to the "story", but Sun and Moon are different heights since they're from different universes! Sun is 13 ft and 2 inches. Moon is 9 ft and 7 inches. Moon is a manlet.] Case in point, below!

Older!Cotc AU Info

Hello!! I wanted to make a post with all my hcs/ideas of both the older creek kids and next generation creek kids. These are all headcanons of course!! 💝😊💝 This post follows the Stump Gang & main next Gen Kids.

Craig & Omar:

Before they got together, they used to date other people.

For Craig (from middle school to high school): Vanessa, Eileen, Canon Ball, & Dianne.

For Omar (MS to HS): Jp & Toman.

There was a 2-3 year gap where Omar & Craig hadn’t seen each other due to Omar leaving to college outside of Herkleton.

During a college break, Omar returned to Herkleton where the two reconnected. Since then they've been inseparable.

Craig (28) works as a carpenter contractor. Omar (30) works from home as a welder.

Craig still has a passion for art and still creates projects on the side (both personal and professional work).

They have one child as of right now named Sonya (3). Isabella/Stack’s is her surrogate mother.

Since Omar stays at home the most, Sonya favors him more over Craig (rip Craig 😔😂)

These two act like carbon copies of Craig’s parents with how openly goofy and affectionate they are to one another & to Sonya.

They own 1 cat and 1 big St. Bernard.

Kelsey & Isabella:

These two are the definition of childhood sweethearts. They’ve had a few fights sure but never broken up or took breaks from each other.

Kelsey (27) is the school coach at Herkleton High School. Isabella (27) works at the Library.

Even with their separate jobs, they still find time to write together and brainstorm on new story ideas. They still plan on releasing a novel together ❤️

When Craig & Omar were looking for a surrogate, Kelsey had offered to be it for them. But after they told her what she could and couldn’t do for 9 months she backed out. (Isabella happily volunteered afterwards)

They have 2 adopted kids together: Jamie (9) & Laura (10).

As a family they like to go to the gym or park together to exercise and bond. Kelsey & Jamie work out more for muscle/strength where as Isabella & Laura exercise for fun.

Aside from exercising, they like to read books together! Though it’s harder for Jamie to join in at first (he’s dyslexic). With some help & patience he’ll get there tho 💪🏽🌟🌟

As adults and parents they still have that fire & ice attitude!! Kelsey being very energetic & outspoken for her family while being warm & welcoming to them/others. Isabella being calm & understanding of her families needs while being strong & assertive when she needs to set someone straight or be a shoulder to lean on.

They own 3 birds & 1 bearded dragon.

Jp & Maney:

During the first year of high school they actually took a break from each other. Jp had dated Omar shortly while Maney dating someone else. During the end of Junior year they reconnected with each other.

Jp (29) works as a mechanic with the Junklord. Maney (29) works at a horse sanctuary & therapy organization called “Hugs for Horses”.

Despite Laura’s words of caution, Jp & Maney end up having a baby together sooner than expected.

When Marcello was born, he had water in his lungs. He had to stay in an incubator for 3 days. When MJ learned about this, he was 100% convinced he was part fish.

Out of all the Stump kids, Jp has kept the most in touch with kids from the creek. If there was as ever a kid from the creek someone wanted to contact, Jp was the guy to go to!

Despite being older & wiser now, Jp still ends up with a broken bone or two every once in a while. Maney wishes he’d be more careful whereas MJ thinks he’s invincible.

Maney still keeps close contact with Kelsey. You’ll often catch her on the phone with Kels planning their hikes together.

As parents they’re both very laid back. MJ doesn’t cause them much of a hassle so they don’t feel the need to be stern with him.

The Mercers don’t own any pets but do take care of the stray cats & dogs that live in their neighborhood (they feed them, make sure they’re not hurt, and are spayed/neutered.

MJ, Nancy, & Sonya

MJ (8) & Nancy (8) don’t have a designated hang out spot. They text each other on where to meet before they go and explore.

Their adventures focus less on exploring the creek and more on how much they can do that day.

MJ has a bucket list of all the things he’d want to do at the creek. When the list starts to run short, he either makes up more or ask other creek kids what to do.

Nancy has a very macabre sense of humor & vibe. She’s fascinated with the concept of life & death (especially with death).

Nancy lives with her grandmother & her older brother.

When Nancy grows up she’d like to be a mortician. When MJ grows up he’d like to be able to touch the top of the fridge.

Nancy always carries her Lil Oopsie Doll named Syd with her where ever she goes. No one is allowed to hold, let alone touch, Syd. MJ is the only acceptation.

If the weathers ever terrible at the creek, these two always run to The Williams house and make themselves at home. (MJ knocks, Nancy gets in through the back.)

Craig & Omar are used to MJ’s visits, they’re not used to Nancy’s. She has the tendency to sneak up behind them and every time it scares the living daylight out of them.

"Ghosts" / Campire Fics -  for about a month, one by one the strawhats encounter a ghost of someone from their past, and it never happens when they're alone. a gen fic about the strawhats opening up to each other about their backstories/pasts. comes in tandem with a campfire fic where they take turns telling each other secrets around a campfire - about themselves, the people they used to know, their homes, whatever. these two would be in a series together. not sure which one would come first (feel free to suggest)

Kamabakka Kingdom Reunion - the strawhats end up stopping at momoiro island for whatever reason despite the fact that sanji is hellbent on convincing them not to and he won't tell them why. includes me trying to fix kamabakka into something less blatantly transphobic and also bringing a deeper understanding to sanji's relationship w/ it as well. would include sanji in drag / crossdressing, talking with Iva again, gender issues, sanji opening up to the crew, sanji Realizing things, etc. sanji focused, unsure if will be gen or not?? might include zosan??? up in the air.

Prince tenebrous: was renamed for this au because he needed a cooler name not just because he’s someone’s kid, has the same job as stolas which is to educate others about the secrets of astronomy, the stars, and the cosmos and absolutely hates both stolas and Stella

Prince uri Apibiru: also had they’re name changed, my very first nonbinary oc, and they’re first name means “my flame” and the last one is “blue lava” and I believe that they’re powers would probably center around that most likely being a blue fire elemental

Prince flint earliston: had his name changed too slightly, helps uri with prophecy related things as well as the self development of others through sin, and are the more optimistic ones of the big four

lord callum prime: could potentially become an actual royal lord in the near future, is the heir to Valentino’s whole empire and the only son of Stella

New neighbors Au - Wordgirl x Welcome home chapter 1

"Today was pretty okay."

"Speak for yourself, art class was a pain! Everyone else was making wonderful art pieces, meanwhile I couldn't even draw lines or scribble."

Becky and Chase were walking home from school with bob. Becky was a bit miffed about an upcoming art project. Chase and Bob looked at her with sympathy. Art had always been one of her weak spots.

"I don't know what I should do for the next art project. That's going to be 30 percent of my grade for that class." She continued, frowning. She usually asked her friend Violet for help since she was the best at it. But Violet had been out sick this week. She didn't want to bug her friend while she was feeling unwell.

"If it was an essay I'm sure you would have no problem writing it." Chase said. Bob chirped in agreement. The lexiconian sighed. Words were the easiest thing for her. It didn't matter the language, she could easily say the words definition and origins. She was also a very punctual writer. "Yeah. But I'm also a bit glad I have three weeks before it's due." She had asked the teacher for extra time to work on the project. The teacher knowing how she struggled in the class gave her the extension.

As they continued walking something caught Chase's eye. He paused. "Hey. Look." He gestured towards a rather old looking building. The sign upfront said 'antiques and more!' "we could probably look in here for some inspiration" he suggested. Becky and Bob stopped walking to see what he was talking about. It was across the street.

"Yeah we could try that." Becky said with a nod. They waited until the road was clear before crossing. Opening the door to the shop, they heard a small 'ding!' as they entered.

"Whoa…"

Inside was Impossibly small, with a cramped aisle with the shelves packed high with random trinkets, books and the like. The air smelled faintly like mint. The dim lighting from the dust covered windows added to the cluttered feel.. But despite that, it felt also cozy…nostalgic even.

Something caught the siblings' attention. They moved closer to see it.

It was a four story dollhouse. The outside walls were pastel pink, resting on a green fuzzy mat. A miniature blue and red car parked outside of it. Inside the house was a kitchen, living room, bath room, a bedroom with three beds and a hallway that led upstairs. The upstairs was a big black room, the story above that one seemed to be a white room. Then an attic where a lone piano sat. There were three figurines that sat in the kitchen. A yellow looking one, a red yarn looking one and a green duck.

"DON'T TOUCH THAT!"

Suddenly a hand came to close the dollhouse. Becky, Bob and Chase looked up in surprise. A middle aged woman looked at them sternly. Noticing them jump, her face softened.

"My apologies for frightening you three." the lady said. "But that house isn't for sale. It's rather precious to me."

Chase was the first one to recover. "It's okay, miss. We were just looking around."

She nodded. "Ah, I see then. Let me know if you guys find anything that catches your attention." Becky gave one last glance at the dollhouse before turning her attention to the nearby shelves. She found many old books. Blowing the dust off of them to get a better view of them. Bob and Chase also took to looking at the items on the shelves.

Looking through a box, Chase found an old VHS tape. The labeling was a bit worn but he could make out most of the texts and pictures. The tape was titled Welcome Home with a friendly yellow, blue haired puppet smiling warmly. He seemed to be in the middle of painting. Overall it seems to be some sort of old children's show.

'That's adorable,' Chase thought. 'Blu would like this.' he then saw a rather new looking teddy bear. He knew she wanted another one since her last one got shredded by squeaky. Checking the prices he realizes he only had enough for one thing. He reached for the teddy bear.

A few moments later, the three walked out with some books and the VHS tape.
