there’s been so many changes to tumblr over the years and despite all the shitty stuff staff did to me as a creator like effing up the gifs or blocking out certain words, I’ve always just taken it but I can’t accept the fact that its interface and whatever new policy they have is to turn this into a twitter sort of media or anything new that’s popular

the whole point of tumblr is that it exists that way and certain people like it AS it is.

I swear, the more I see of Davies' return and how much he's relying on his old schtick and how awful it has been to see Jodie Whittaker (the first woman to play The Doctor) basically dropped like she never was (erased, as the Master told us; not even her clothing will serve as a reminder? Hope that changes, but not hopeful), and how Davies could have used his influence to bring a new showrunner into the fold (a woman?) and how shitty it is that Gatwa gets pushed to 15 so Davies can have a glory days moment with Tennant again, I feel like we're just going in the same old circles and we're never getting out of it.

With Disney taking over distribution, we know they're going to impose their own take on it that nobody asked for and Idk, finding enthusiasm for anything anymore is really hard.

So, just curious how many writers and creators will have to be forcibly outed by relentless harassment before we acknowledge that "This queer characters was written by a cishet person and that's why they're bad" is not good criticism.
