Between a string of dangerous rescues on top of managing the day-to-day affairs of his own team as well as the Academy there were few people who wouldn't have needed a break, so you'd decided to go full wife of the year and plan a night off for him. After doing everything in your power to ensure he wouldn't be bothered from dawn to dusk, prepping the padded berth the two of you shared and ordering some new lingerie, you had sent him a message inviting the mech to your bedroom. Your initial plan had been to have him simply blow off some steam with a few rounds of fun, but it had quickly become apparent you'd underestimated just how pent up your beloved fire truck really was.

That discovery had come only a minute prior, but you were finding yourself increasingly loving how wrong you'd been with every frantic thrust.

Pillows stacked in abundance cushioned your soft body as Heatwave pounded into you from behind, his secondary spike just small enough for you to take but large enough to stretch you to the limit the way you liked. Lingerie already disheveled, you clung to the blankets and got loud to let him know just how marvelous he was making you feel. Feral growls and hot blasts of air from his vents let you know the feeling was mutual.

Holding you with one servo, he let out a sound between a snarl and a moan, pulling you close to thrust as deeply as he could into your sopping pussy. The light slap of your flesh against his armor set him off as it always did, and you kept your legs spread as you were lifted clear off the berth, allowing him to set you up however he pleased. You'd made an unselfish commitment to letting him do whatever he needed to relax, and you intended to honor that.

Optics dilating to pinpricks, Heatwave came hard and fast, roaring out his completion as he overloaded hard enough to send sparks of electricity arcing across his armor. A hot gush of transfluid inside of you pushed you to completion at essentially the same moment, your tight walls clamping around him to invite as much as he was willing to give. Your mutual moans of orgasm shook the picture frames on the walls of your shared room.

Heatwave filled you completely with just a few spurts, allowing the others to gush out of you to gather in a thick puddle on the berth below. The warm fullness was the perfect segway into the afterglow, which you slipped into as the ecstasy faded into total satisfaction. His roars quited to groans that themselves faded to frantic pants of exertion as he himself came down, his armor dripping with coolant from the exertion. Setting you down and bacing his hands on the berth to keep himself upright, he briefly looked ready to pass out before he found his voice.

"I needed that." he sighed, sounding dizzy as he withdrew from you at last. Thick transfluid oozed slowly from your thoroughly stretched pussy, not that you minded as you looked up at him and found his optics drinking up the sight. Shifting his gaze to yours, he managed something like a chuckle before he scooped you up to make room for himself, collapsing on his side as he held your limp self to his chassis.

first of all, thanks so much!!

I won't go too much into quint's backstory- there's a few key players I haven't introduced yet, so I'll just focus on him and heatwave

so, I imagine their story goes that optimus notices how bored heatwave is (there's pretty long stretches of time between each emergency, and a ton of downtime) so he figures that heatwave could use some mentorship from an older, more experienced firetruck, and of course quint agrees immediately. he was abandoned by his creators, but picked up by a bot named diehard and his peripheral, saint.* so, he's always had the mindset of paying it forward, and basically tries to adopt any kid that comes his way.

his relationship with heatwave is really tumultuous at first- heatwave wants nothing to do with him, doesn't think he needs a mentor, would rather be doing anything else etc., but after about a hundred times of getting his ass kicked he realizes he might be able to learn a few things from quint. and then it gets emotional because quint really obviously cares about heatwave the more he learns about him- and starts taking an active part in his life outside of just teaching him to fight and use his attributes properly. heatwave's also convinced quint doesn't know his name or any of the other rescue bots' names because he calls them nicknames (hw: kid, kiddo, champ. ch: sport. bl: bud, buddy. bo: spud. these are the nicknames my gramps used for me and my siblings)

quint's also the first to notice heatwave is an outlier (I share the hc that heatwave's a psychic outlier- my guy predicts literally everything in that show) because he is also an outlier (I have plans to introduce his power in a comic soon).

for quint and baz, they started out hating each other. baz is the reason he, quint and another bot, quicksilver, are all stranded on earth. the only reason he's not dead is because he was key to their survival, and as time passed, he and quint slowly fell in love. quint is really bad at showing romantic affection, he's much more an acts of service/words of affirmation guy, but while he's got nicknames for baz, none of them are pet names. in fact, baz is the only one who's name he actually uses on a regular basis. baz is much more the affectionate and pet names one.

as for baz and heatwave, they do not like each other, but grow on each other. heatwave is immediately distrustful because of baz's decepticon symbol, and baz doesn't like heatwave's attitude. they both try for quint, and eventually reach a tentative understanding through shit talking people and stretching.

So I don’t think whether or not CE is really married is really important at this point (RE: he’s in HW where the majority of relationships…I suspect have strings being pulled in the back).

The fact is that’s the narrative they are going to with and want to sell, so he is just pushing that narrative along. He/they want you to know and think he’s married. I personally believe that’s the important part about all this. But he and others around him are intentionally keeping it vague and I think it’s working to their favor because it plays into the whole privacy thing they were going for.

Saying “my wife is from PT” basically implies he married a woman from PT. That’s not giving anything exact but it’s also implying he married AB, the woman he’s been linked to most recently and she’s from PT. But at the same time, there millions of woman in PT/from PT. Who’s to say he’s not married to one of them, especially if they haven’t come out and said it was with each other? 🤣

So he confirms without actually having to confirm and if I had to make an educated guess, I would say that’s as good as you’re going to get it. Don’t quote me on this though.

I know some team real blogs were saying it’s normal for someone to not say their partner’s name, and that’s true for the most part. Think about how when you meet someone random - and you mention your partner. Do you necessarily say your partner’s name? Probably not, especially if you don’t know the person like that.

The thing is, with CE/AB the plausible deniability and vagueness is a pattern.

It’s not just him once saying my wife in passing, it’s also him not mentioning her for two years, then suddenly mentioning a nameless GF, then eventual nameless wife.

Same goes for her.

“My husband” “my dog” “pictures of the dog but no tags of the husband even tho everyone knows whose dog that is”. Even her trolling best friends do the most and only troll by posting suggestive backgrounds and no direct tags. If you’ve paid attention this entire time it’s very easy to tell there’s a reason they’ve done this for this long. TBH, I had my suspicions at first they were just trying to protect privacy because they hadn’t gone public yet and people were already harassing them. But after they went fully public the same charades continued all the way past the wedding and into the new year? That’s when my suspicions were more or less confirmed - that this was intentional orchestration and some form of strategy. Weird, yes, but not unheard of. In fact, my suspicions are that other celebs have done something similar to this too (re: Leo DiCaprio and Gigi hadid, bill hader and Anna Kendrick). I think in Hollywood there are so many strings being pulled all the time. Nothing is coincidence. Nothing is coincidence in marketing in general. Things are planned out well in advance and I mean this wholeheartedly.

He posted two stories with her and he never says her name out loud (does everyone remember that?), he doesn’t tag her (well she was deactivated, but he doesn’t mention her name in the videos in captions either).

She never refers to him by name and the one time PT reporters tried to talk to her she refused to talk to them. She lets in tags of herself but never anything confirming or alluding to anything directly to him. Now she’s doing the opposite and I feel that may be intentional too. Maybe.

The one time they attend the same premiere - did you notice he didn’t take pics with her? She got her solo pics and then disappeared? She then posts a pic of herself at this premier but doesn’t tag him, the movie, or the cast? Is it ungratefulness or is it strategy? Think about it.

His friends/her friends all post separately from the same place and it’s only this most recent PT sighting he’s in a photo with Joana (weird right?)

You get suggestive follows and likes but no real interactions that can be legitimate.

I believe that’s why TMZ has been acting so shady throughout all of this. I think they know something’s up.

I think everyone knows the big thing at play here is plausible deniability. It always has been.

Wearing wedding rings - ok but anyone can wear a ring TBH? It doesn’t really say too much.

Lastly - in my line of work marketing and PR work the same in some ways but also different. My company puts out press releases (which I help write) when we announce things like winning industry awards, acquisitions, partnerships, rebranding. But we don’t do a ton of really innovative stuff and PR is pretty low maintenance here. So while the methods and processes are the same, I imagine PR in HW is much different, more complex, and more creative (lol). I don’t have any answers for why they do what they do, but I can tell you the vague wording they’ve repeatedly use definitely means something. I don’t think it’s just coincidental.

What I’m trying to get here is that marketing and PR in any industry is going to involve a bit of “fudging the truth and stretching the line to make things seem a certain way to fit a certain narrative. It’s absolutely manipulative when you put it that way but it’s also business. It’s not personal. It’s why I don’t let it get to me and I just let it be. Don’t lose sleep over it. All things will unfold as they should.

idk if i should ask this but there's things really messed up for me and i really need some advice and get out of this.

*i always see many different kinds of posts about self improvement and self care and after seeing that i make many goals for myself that i will implement all of these. But i just dont know how to do these and how to start and what to start i just want to do all of the things in one day which i will never do.

*i am a high school student, this is my last year of school and also it is really important and this is the only very long vacation i got and i am very weak in studies also i have very less knowledge about many things (like i am just dumb?). My school is gng to reopen on 28 august and when my school is closed i planned various things that i will improve to do to improve myself and become a completely different person (like have a glow up). But i did nthng for like whole one month and just watched kdramas and stuff. i also have many things to study and complete stuffs.

*i jst dnt knw hw to do like planning and stuffs and do my works according to it. bcz i tried making notion templates regarding everything and do all the stuffs in one day and bcm a wonder women in one day but i did nthng. and then i deleted my whole notion page bcz i jst dk hw to do. i also tried bullet journaling that didn't work s well. i jst dk wht do everything is jst messed up.

*also i feel so embarrassing talking to someone verbally in english bcz idk i jst start saying nonsense words like i realy dk hw to speak english even though I've been speaking since i was 4.

I get what you're going through. You want to make things better, but you're not sure where to start.

If planning tools like Notion or bullet journaling don't work for you, that's fine. Try making a list or using your phone's notes section. That's what I do.

When it comes to talking in English, it's okay if you feel scared or mess up sometimes. You're being tough on yourself and caring too much about what others might say. This is something many people go through. But let's shift our attention away from others and focus on how you can handle this feeling of not being sure about yourself.

Are you truly putting effort into improving yourself, or do you give up as soon as things get tough? This matters a lot because you need to make a real commitment. If not, you'll just keep going around in circles of negativity. If you want to exercise, then go ahead and exercise. What is stopping you? Think about it? Just yourself. That is quite literally it.

If your sleep schedule is messed up and you feel disconnected, try setting a routine for sleep and doing things that help you stay present, like meditation or going for a walk.

I can tell you're feeling pretty down and everything seems gloomy right now. I understand, and it's not a good feeling. But there will come a time, and it looks like you're getting there, when you'll need to stand up and take charge of your life again.

If you really want to work on all of these things, you need to cut/stop doing all of the negative things you are doing now and only focusing on the version of you that you want to identify with. Change might feel tough, but staying stuck in one place is tough too. You get to pick which kind of tough you want to deal with.

I am going to teach you right now what you need to do if you really do want to work on yourself.

Write down things that make you feel not so good that you want to change.

Next to each item, write down how you can make these things better. For example, if you're not exercising enough, you could start taking short walks every day.

Forget the old version of you exists. Imagine you used to eat a lot of junk food and that made you feel tired. Decide that you won't go back to eating junk food even when you feel like it. You need to really have a vision for yourself and who you want to be. This is important because it will be how you motivate yourself.

Keep finding new ways to make your situation better. If you're trying to be more social, maybe you could join a club or group where you can meet new people.

Exercise and incorporate more healthy meals into your diet. Exercising will not only make you feel good but it will also help you look good.

Take care of your appearance. When you look good you feel good and vice versa. You will become more motivated and confident.

Stop procrastinating. Set realistic and achievable goals. This will help you boost your confidence as well as increase your levels of productivity and discipline.

Get hobbies. Learn new things, figure out your passions and pursue them. Live a life of purpose so you don't continue to feel like you are just floating through life.

Avoid negative content or really anything that no longer aligns with the version of you that you want to be. You want to change your life? You want to be a different version of yourself? What does that person look like? How do they act? What do they do? Your whole life should be consumed with those examples and those examples ONLY.

Learn a new skill and practice it daily. This will help you grow as a person. Develop critical thinking skills. You learn new things and become smarter. It will make life more interesting and exciting for you.

Keep promises to yourself. If you don't take care of yourself, who will? People will treat you how you treat yourself.

REPLACE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS WITH POSITIVE ONES. Pay attention to how you talk to yourself because you are listening and your mind is normalizing these ideas.

By doing these things, you can feel better, be more confident, do well in your tasks, try new stuff, have good relationships, make good choices, stay positive, and be someone others trust. It helps you have a happy life where you learn and grow while being kind to yourself and others around you <3

I NEED THE WRITER'S COMMENTARY FOR THE LATEST CHAPTER BECAUSE OH MY GOD 😭😭😭 SO MUCH HAPPENED

Finally had time to do some writer's commentary. Thanks for waiting :)

This also includes some info about the rest of the story at the very end.

This is fraught with spoilers, so beware!

Welcome to The Chapter! As many are aware, this is the chapter I was dying to get to partly because of it's many twists and partly because it's the reason why CTB is the way it is.

To take it back to two years ago: I'm kicking the idea for this fic around in my brain when I get a very vivid image of the scene where Spirit returns. I knew I wanted the audience to immediately know exactly why this was such a big deal, but that would mean the audience would have to understand the scope of everything that happened in the past by this point

At this time, I had been imagining the past only being referenced by Warriors. I was kicking around the idea of doing flashbacks when I realized that I could pair up a flashback showing the child's departure with Spirit's return for a single thematically cohesive chapter. But for a flashback to not feel out of place, they would have to be frequent-- say, every chapter.

Thus, the entire structure of CTB was born, with the syncing point of the two timelines being this chapter! So if you hate the pacing, you can blame it on my need to make sure these two events happen at once

That being said, I feel like I could have had another chapter between the engineer's curse and this one just with stuff involving their apprehension towards each other, but there was no room

The two most iconic moments from the Temple of Souls level of HW is the battle with Dark Link and the room filled with portraits of Link. I had ideas for both, but I only had room for one. I went with the Dark Link fight since I figured more people would be upset if I cut it. I might be able to squeeze in something with the portraits later in the present day timeline

Originally, right after killing the shadow, the engineer was going to say "wow, that felt really good" and Link was going to be so offended

Originally, we were going to see this chapter that the engineer really doesn't like Midna exclusively because she's a dark spirit. I cut this since I really do not need to add another case of fantasy prejudice to my list of things I need to worry about.

(Plus, it makes the engineer really unsympathetic and we're supposed to be rooting for him)

The scene where the engineer begs Lana to let them go was originally going to go differently, and I had written a lot of it before I redid it all. But I don't think I kept that draft and for the life of me, I cannot remember what I wrote

I refuse to freak out about the kiss on the cheek moment the way I did about the neck scene since I can just point to that part in the bible where Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss and say "see! you can't get mad! bros betray each other with kisses all the time!"

Okay let's talk the engineer's plan

My original plan for how the engineer got the child to leave is way different from what happened in story

Originally, the engineer was going to realize that there was the opportunity for one person to run away from Link and jump through the gate. But instead of saving himself, he picked up the child and threw him through-- ensuring the child was safe while damning himself

This was meant to illustrate that despite everything, the engineer was still more morally upright than Link

However, I changed this for two reasons: 1) this was from a version of the story where it would be way ambiguous as to how much the engineer was corrupted by Link, and 2) it would be more satisfying if the engineer won by finally being able to outsmart Link

I realized this about a year ago and committed to the change, but I didn't know at the time what the engineer would do, especially since the engineer's dynamic with Link involves the engineer being unable to keep up with Link's schemes

Only a couple of months ago did I realized how exactly the engineer was going to win-- that being, weaponizing Link's obsession with him. The moment I figured this out was a huge relief cause, again, I spent a whole year not knowing how this was going to go down

So anyone who tells you this story is well thought out is a liar lol

Okay, moving onto the present--

Linkle is the true MVP of this chapter. She was working to keep Warriors together and we love and appreciate her for it

Unlike the flashback where a lot of things got overhauled, the present day went about the way I had always been planning. This may be due to me practically writing the whole thing in the span of 72 hours and not having enough time to overthink any of it

In chapter 19, Cia warns Wild that the next time he made eggs he would burn them. And this chapter, he finally did. Kinda silly set-up and pay off, but it's the small details that matter

Warriors was going to have a big argument with Cia about her not warning him about any of this, but it was a repeat of things he just said to Lana so it felt unnecessary

Ah, Wind. I feel bad for what I did to him. I had a fun time looking up all the things brain damage can cause, so look forward to more about Wind's condition

Sky was always going to be the one who came up with the idea to grab Spirit, and it's been kinda fun up until this point trying to steer his character in the direction to someone who would come up with that idea

Time and Warriors's conversation was fun, though looking now I see I didn't make it clear that Warriors was just about to figure out who Time was before the medicine kicked in and distracted him

Also, I finally got to do the pay off for Warriors's ability to identify poison by taste-- this time, with the inversion of him being fooled

Speaking of pay off, Wind's wind waker plan was so fun to write, though I had initially planned for Wind to not be immobile during it so that there would be way more of him dodging attacks being thrown at him in between him taking temporary control of everyone else-- all of it coming together to look like a dance

I also had an alternate plan where Wind's development went in a different direction and he instead idolized Spirit so much that he desperately wanted him back; for this version, Warriors would have had to outsmart the command melody

I almost didn't have the train pop out of the portal despite it being a part of my plan because I was so sleepy when I finally got to that scene that I wanted to start cutting corners; I'm glad I kept it though!

Ah, Spirit's return.

There was a part of me that was really scared to do this despite this always being the plan. For everything I set up, I always worry that the pay off won't be good enough. And I knew that if this was not well-received, this would destroy a lot of people's interest in CTB

Older Spirit was going to wear his hair in a low pony tail, but I changed it to a man bun so that he would be OSHA compliant lol

In the event I had way less material than I thought and CTB wouldn't be long enough to accommodate Spirit's return, I had an alternate version planned where Time went through the gate to bring Spirit back himself and Warriors followed to stop him

This would result in a scene where Warriors finds Spirit at a house party, and is trying to hide when Spirit goes outside onto the porch and has a short conversation with Warriors. They wouldn't be able to see each other, and Warriors wouldn't say anything himself, but Spirit would reiterate that he wouldn't "do this again" and that he had time to heal from his experiences. We would then leave Spirit in the New Hyrule where he is happy

But luckily, I have plenty of material so the Spirit we have in-story now has capital-I-Issues we get to explore!

I always knew that Time would never tell Warriors the truth, which meant that it was always going to be Spirit who would spill the beans

On one hand, this makes for a two-punch plot twist, but I also can see how including both Spirit's return and Time's reveal in the same chapter would distract one from the other (goodness knows that both distract from the child's departure, which is one of the best scenes I have ever written rip)

But I justified it to myself with this: the reader expects Time to confess and can feel it coming. They can only forget about it when the anticipation for Spirit's return begins. So now when the reveal comes up, it catches the reader off guard despite them knowing it's coming

So yeah, now that our brother's are reunited, the reason this fic is named "Call Them Brothers" makes more sense. It has always been about the brothers.

Finally, let's end on important shop talk concerning the rest of CTB.

We are 2/3rds of the way through my planned plot for CTB, with this last third focusing on the drama between the brothers and stopping the war. I don't have an estimated chapter count as I have yet to figure out the pacing.

Yeah, so two years ago I divvied up the plot points into chapters up until this one and then told myself I would go back later and finish the outline. And I just... never did. Ooops!

That may have worked out in my favor. A lot of things have changed in the past two years. While the general plot hasn't really changed, I have a better understanding of what I am writing. Plus, I really do not want to spend another 2 years on this story, so I would like to take some time to figure out if there are any areas I can trim or condense.

I want to be careful with what I write next, as it's way too easy to fall into cheap, philosophical pitfalls. I don't want someone to read CTB and think that the story is about how everyone deserves forgiveness or that a terrible person is irredeemable. There's a lot of nuance in the difficult questions I want to explore, which I need some more time to figure out for myself.

All together, the small hiatus Tears of the Kingdom is enforcing will be good for me and CTB. I'll get some time to figure out the pacing and make sure that the last of CTB is the story I want to tell.

Hopefully Rebirth will finally answer those questions I have. First of all is who or what is Zack? He’s dead right? So why is he showing up? Did the heroes change the timeline at the end of Remake? That was probably Sephiroth’s plan. Is Aerith still destined to die? That was one of the biggest moments in the original. And does Sephiroth know the future? He seems quite intent on making Cloud think Tifa is dead. He must know that Tifa, being the thing Cloud loves more than anything, is the only one who can keep Cloud’s mind from breaking. And what was that message he left in Remake? “7 seconds until the end”. I have so many questions from Remake and I hope that Rebirth will answer them, especially the stuff about Sephiroth and Zack. And given that Seph himself basically confirmed Cloud is in love with Tifa, I hope we see lots of Cloti romantic moments! Maybe another hug?

Given the devs have said over and over the story is the same as OG, most of these are easily answered now 😁

Zack is a soldier first class who died.

Yes, he's definitely dead. CCR shows that and Nomura himself said CCR is canon to Remake.

Zack most likely appears as a flashback or mental projection of Cloud's deluded mind. This is basically the same thing Jenova did throughout OG only it's more enhanced thanks to better technology.

There's only one timeline.

Yea, Aerith will die.

No, Sephiroth doesn't know the future. What he's doing is projecting and controlling events so that his plans become real. He's lying and manipulating Cloud to further those plans.

Yes, Sephiroth knows how Cloud feels about Tifa. We see Cloud in CCR carefully tending to Tifa, picking up the buster sword and attacking Sephiroth. It's really not a stretch for him to figure out Tifa's important, especially after all the further schemes Sephiroth pulled in Midgar with Marco and the ch16 SIM.

It literally says in the summary for chapter 18 that Sephiroth is referring to the end of the world. That Cloud will have seven seconds until the end and that maybe enough for him to save it. It's yet another lie. Sephiroth needs to motivate Cloud to chase him so he can get the black materia and summon meteor. Everything Sephiroth says in the entirety of the game is a bunch of lies and half truths designed to get Cloud to do his bidding. Sephiroth is the bad guy. He's not some misunderstood good boi.

And yeah, in every language except English Sephiroth says jenova can take the form of someone you love and then directly after that says "I killed Tifa". Only an idiot wouldn't be able to understand that Sephiroth is talking about Tifa as someone Cloud loves.

Rebirth will mostly be angst. Romantic stuff will be part three with the lifestream and hw scene

ok first thing bucciarati just quits

there isn't any grand goal or achievement for him to run after anymore there's no point for him to be in the mafia anymore. he has been carrying a lot of weight on his shoulders and giorno has become the boss, he can finally let go of the weight. he doesn't feel guilty about supposedly dropping everything onto giorno because abbacchio is still in the mafia and to quote him "there is no way to know what will giorno do next, what if comes out as this freak? would you want a freak to rule the mafia bruno?" (he won't admit it he's worried about his teens) and bucciarati trust abbacchio in every decision he makes

giorno's was planning this moment his entire life he isn't planning to go back in anyway possible (he also refuses to go to school but this is only because being incharge with this much power got him cocky, he sometimes glances -steals- at nara's hw to prove that he "still got it" and "going to school is a waste")

narancia did fulfill his wish and finished his education (not collage tho it's not that important to me) and while he was in school he was basically on hiatus from joining the mafia and he would whine and complain because "i don't want you to do cool things without me!!" and narancia would want to stay in the mafia i believe, how else is he supposed to let out all of that violence (also because guido is staying and nara would alawys stays besides him)

mista and fugo stay because essentially they don't have anything to go back to

fugo i think would wish for a life or something more calmer something that reminds him more of his grandmother but he thinks he's already way to fucked up to have a normal life so he would disregard that idea and he's very happy and contented with the life he has now anyway

i mentioned it before that i hc them having an orphanage, i feel after some while giorno realize how fucked up the situation that the whole team was in so he made it a rule to never get a kid involved in the mafia EVER again (he wants to preserve some innocence to these kids the he couldn't have) when he suggested the idea to bucciarati he thrilled to say the least. bruno now (particularly) runs the orphanage

First of all, I’d like to disclaim by Occam’s razor: AB’s sister posting pics in CE’s backyard means she and her bf were there. Yes. Normal ppl would also post pics they’ve taken recently, so yes, logically speaking these photos were probably recent. Ok. Team real got their point made here.

HOWEVER…we’re talking about AB and this situation. What about this whole thing has made sense or been normal? Pretty much nothing. Even their pap walk debut made little sense bc they were both apparently in ATL, one filming a movie, the other doing yoga school, but chose to stop everything to fly into NYC and run around a crowded park in masks. Ok. And then go back into hiding. Very normal.

So, a theory (call it far fetched, call it delusional, whatever. It’s just a theory): back last summer? Or early fall, ppl saw that AB started following a guy (now known as her sister’s man). Pretty sure it was around mid-late summer. I think it tracks bc ppl claimed that she also filmed that chin video with Chris around late summer 2022 (somebody out there has those backdates idk). So let’s say she’s in the US, after her Paris movie promo is finished and she has time off. She travels to LA, meets sister’s bf and follows him on IG. Her sister is also there. They end up at CE’s house and take pics in his backyard. This is B4 the relationship launched but obviously they were planning things during the dormant hiding time re:scare/Vday videos. Idk if they filmed any stories in LA, but let’s say they’re planning this out to sell it all the way. Sister/Bf being local would be really helpful to help sell it down the road.

What if, these photos from her sister’s IG were actually taken last summer? I mean, sure, LA does experience some weather changes, but it’s much harder to pinpoint what time of year it is in LA than it is in the east coast. And without a time stamp, there’s no way to tell when these photos were actually taken. This also could mean AB’s side is catching on or gotten a little smarter by not having Justin or troll minions post real time stories, and instead let the private accounts leak SS that can’t be backdated.

Again, ALL of this is pure speculation. The reason team real has so much ammo is bc some PR theories skew very close to QANON conspiracy, but what they keep forgetting is that HW itself is basically a qanon conspiracy. So much of HW is smoke and mirrors. Nothing really makes sense and it’s not supposed to. Also, Social media is a highlight reel, not a reality. Ppl are miserably IRL but pretend on SM to be having the time of their life. Lastly, the first whispers of this relationship began thru SM. I believe IF it ends, it may end the same way it began. But that’s just my opinion.

I think it's a really good theory. That video was recorded on August 18, 2022, at least according to the app. We all know they are never alone, so maybe at the time Ana and her boyfriend played the chaperone's role 😅

Okay, bloodsports are over, it's wedding season (it's extremely not). Which Ganon would marry each and why?

(I am only doing canon Ganons because we all know that they would fight over who gets to marry the wonderful bombastic beautiful Ganon that is known as CD-I Ganon so I will spare them the cruelty) It would be just like Ganondorf to get married explicitly when it's not wedding season because he needs to be DISRUPTIVE-

Okay so after much deliberation I have decided that Ganondorf marrying any of his selves would result in a very toxic relationship no matter how you spin it, so now the question is how do we make this work so that the toxicity of their relationship ends up in something manageable for the, uh, long term I guess? So first I would marry OoT Ganondorf to TotK Ganondorf because I feel like TotK Ganondorf has juuuuuust enough of an edge to overpower OoT Ganondorf but OoT Ganondorf has the cunning and the spoons to manipulate and plan on how he can overtake his TotK counterpart and take his stone. They would be eternally struggling and fighting and neither would back down because one HAS to be better than the other. Probably the most toxic. Probably have very defined roles in their marriage, who is in control and who must submit, and *that*, that would irritate both of them so much that they would just keep trying to take that for themselves. I would marry Wind Waker Ganondorf with FSA Ganondorf. I always felt like FSA Ganondorf was young and ambitious and he needs a partner that is a bit older and more experienced to ground him a bit and I think Wind Waker Ganondorf has just enough patience to handle him, steer him right you know what I mean? Maybe tell him the desert he lives in is not the *worst*? TP Ganondorf is getting married to Yuganon because TP Ganondorf is so beautifully tragic and speaks in such flowery terms about light and shadow and Yuganon would probably shed a tear because he feels so inspired and make some tragically beautiful yet evil art out of it. Just roll with this okay. I'm pairing Zelda I's Ganon with OoS/OoA Ganon. They're both kind of lost, kind of mind broken beyond repair. They would destroy everything and then roll in the mud together or something idk. Okay I'm breaking my canon Ganon rule just for this one, and it's to pair AlttP Ganon with HW Ganondorf, only because I think that while they're both power hungry they're also both intelligent enough to make allies when it benefits them. Take over the world together and all that. They would still try to backstab each other and then when they get caught they'd be like "Ahhhhhhh you caught me *this time*, but next time won't be so easy!" and just like, do it again at some other point. Anyways this is all a moot point because the real answer is that they're all married to me? They're all my wives? My Ganonwives? How dare you ask me this question?

He stood there at the back of the church even though you reserved a seat for him to be sitting at the front witnessing the whole ceremony but he chose to sit at the very back of the chapel which you found very odd.

Brad was one of your best friends. You have known him pretty much since you were kids and would most of every day with each other share secrets and just pretty much do everything together and since you were both adults it never really changed until one night at a party your birthday.

A few months ago, it was your 21st birthday party. You didn't really want to do anything special cause you didn't like the hassle it comes with it but Brad being the best friend had always had something planned for you whether you liked it or not.

On the day of your birthday, I dragged you off the sofa made you get changed into the dress that he had brought for you without telling you why, but you did as he told you do.

You quickly put some makeup on, which didn't really take you that long, but it still looked, and so did your hair.

When you came out of the room, you gave him twirl, asking him how you looked he didn't wait and said that you looked absolutely gorgeous with a sweet charming smile that he had on his face. He placed a blind fold around your eyes he took you by the hand and guided you to the surprise he had waiting for you.

"Are we there yet, Bradley?" You asked eagerly, wondering what he had been planning for you, but he didn't tell, but you were seconds away.

"Not long now, just wait and sae," He said to you while both walked to the bar where the party was being held.

Eventually, you got there, and once you did, everyone who you knew and loved was yelling out a huge "SURPRISE!" You were filled with love as everyone sang happy birthday to you. Brad, who was behind you, was practically screaming it, which you found hilarious.

"Happy birthday Y/N now I know you said you didn't want a party, but that wasn't really up to you. You deserve a party cause you are the most wonderful, gorgeous person that deserves everything goos in this world, so happy birthday, bestie. " Your eyes began to rhar after hearing the lovely words that he had said about you.

You then jumped into his arms, giving him a hug, and it was a very tight, sweet hug.

"Thank you so much Brad you really are the best friend I ever had. You mean a lot to me," you say to him .

Brad looked into your eyes, and he gave you a smile once more. "I really need to tell you something Y/N" He says to you as his smile slowly begins to fade. You never really seen him looking at you like that, but for the past few days, he has been quiet admiring everything about you.

At first, you thought that Brad was being Brad watching and admiring the people he truly cared about, but recently, you noticed something different about him each time that you hang out with him.

"Yeah, about that Y/N there is something I need to confess to you," He says to you.

"What is it Bradley you know, can tell me anything," you say to him.

"Why don’t we go somewhere quiet?" He says while gently taking your hand, but it doesn't take long for her mystery. Man had come through the door, and that is when you let go of Brad's hands and jumped into Leo's arms, giving him a hug and a kiss on the lips you were so happy that hw was here but the only person who wasn't was Brad of course.

Tonight, he had plans to tell you how he really felt about you he had everything planned as to how he would be telling you everything, but his planned had ruined by Leo the man you have been texting for months now but to have him turn at your birthday party wasn't really apart of Brad's plans to declare that he had feeling for you but unfortunately his had taken a dark turn...

---- Lon Lon Ranch is a very peaceful place.

They had arrived in the early hours of the morning, exhausted and dirty from the road. Malon and her family welcomed them in with kindness and care, and they have been doing everything they can to help out around the place in repayment.  

Presently, Malon has Mask aiding in washing all their linens and clothes. They've made a mess of quite a bit, between the six of them. All those muddy boots and grubby tunics, pushing cross-spacetime dirt through everything. Wolf, Mage, and Sailor are out in the ranch proper, tending to the animals - Wolf has lots of experience with it, and is guiding the other two in the husbandry of horses, pigs, and cuccos - while Mercy and Link stay in the kitchen preparing food for everyone. Mercy is sitting at the dining table, cutting vegetable after vegetable after vegetable to prepare for the roasted feast Link has planned. 

While chopping, Mercy thinks about Mask. Watching that boy run about like a puppy, following Malon's every order and request, pulling her chair out to sit at the table for breakfast - he's absolutely smitten. Him and Wolf have been sharing looks all week, little smirks and fond glances and teasings of 'look how cute and sappy your great great great great grandparents are'. Walking through the ranch gates, seeing the way Malon tenderly held his face, only to then pinch his ear and chastise him for running off on some adventure without even telling her; Mercy immediately understood why Mask feels at home here. Why he eventually makes his home here, with Malon. 

Wolf shared with him that particular nugget of knowledge on a starlit night keeping watch together - that he is the descendant of the Hero of Time, who marries a humble farm girl and settles into a life of domesticity. Since then, as well as their conversations around the topic of love and crushes - a conversation which had Mask curling in with embarrassment at her mention - Mercy has thought about the type of woman Malon would be. And after meeting her, he can understand why he loves her - she's strong and passionate and kind. Qualities he loves in his own partner.

He's glad to know that his kid gets a happy ending.

Mercy is three quarters of the way through the carrots when Sailor comes running into the kitchen. At some point during the hot day, he decided to take his shirt off (jacket already down for a wash and repair), scars and tattoos on full display. The largest of them is a sleeve, spiralling sea leviathan curling around his entire right arm and toothy maw open just over his pec. He glances around the room with a look of urgency, before landing on Mercy at the table.

“Oh good! We need a dad. Right now.”

…Okay.

Mercy sighs and stands up, stretching his stiff legs. He moves the already chopped carrots over to Link’s counter and grabs his cane from against the door. 

"What's the problem?" He asks, following Sailor back outside. 

“Something’s up with Mage, but she won’t tell us what - keeps denying anything’s wrong. Being a stubborn little shit about it.” Sailor explains, grumbling the last part out under his breath. “You’re the most authoritative out of all of us, and seem to know how she ticks. If anyone is gonna convince her to take it easy it’d be you.”

Mercy hasn’t known Mage for an awfully long time yet - this journey has only been about six chaotic weeks so far - but there are some things he has picked up. Incredibly smart, insightful, slow to trust but desperate to in the same breath. Snarky and blunt and valuing of the truth. But most of all - a chronic overworker. That girl loves pushing her limits, spending long nights pouring over texts and longer days pouring over the group and their habits and limits and wellbeing. Keeping an eye. A lot of himself is in there, hidden just under the shell, but without the comfort of retirement to soothe it against the weight of the world. They’ve become pretty good at catching each other on their own bad habits, when it gets too much. 

Sailor leads him to the large stables. He can immediately hear an argument inside.

“A will wrestle you tae the ground, don’t think a won’t, Mage. I’m twice your weight.” Wolf threatens. 

“For fuck’s sake, I told you I’m fine!” Mercy and Sailor walk in, and Mage notices immediately. “Oh, fucking hell - what’s all this, huh? Called the fucking dad on me?” 

Mage is leaning against one of the pens, arms crossed and shoulders raised defensively, ears pinned all the way back. Wolf is standing in front of her, frowning disapprovingly with his hands on his hips. It seems they’ve been going in circles for quite a while. 

“That’s exactly what I did. If you wanna throw a tantrum like a toddler and refuse to tell us what’s wrong, then I just have to go and get the guy who actually has a toddler. I’m a genius, I know.” Sailor states, also crossing his arms in triumph. Mage just glares. 

“I’m not ‘throwing a tantrum��, I just wish you’d all stop fuckin’ botherin’ me! I’m completely…” She pauses, and all three of them watch her face as her eyes flutter and breath catches, before the loudest sneeze Mercy’s ever heard rips out of her. And then another, and another. “...fine.” She sniffs.

Right then.

Mercy sighs. He takes a few steps forward, urging Wolf to back up out of her personal space with his left hand. 

“Mage. You’re not ill?”

“No!”

“Okay, then you can come in and help me and Link with the food. Get these guys out of your hair, yeah?” 

Mage glares at him for a second, trying to figure out what the catch is, but he stands strong. After a moment, she sighs and rights herself, loosening her arms just a smidge. Progress. They begin heading back into the house - when he looks over his shoulder back at the other two, Sailor is giving him a thumbs up. He huffs a laugh. 

Once they reach the house, Mercy beelines to the kitchen cupboards and retrieves a glass while Mage stands just through the doorway.

“What can I help with?”

Link looks up from the oven, giving Mage a confused look. Mercy interrupts before he can question anything. 

“You’re going to drink a glass of water in the lounge first. You’ve been out in the sun all day, you’re no doubt getting dehydrated. It’ll be good to sit down for a minute.”

“Why not sit at the kitchen table?” Mage questions.

“Because the lounge is comfier.” 

She follows him into the lounge without protest. Mercy hands her the glass once she’s sat on a sofa, sitting down on the other end himself and waiting patiently. Mage takes a careful few sips, before realising how thirsty she no doubt is, and gulping down the rest. He waits a few moments more before he begins.

“So. What’s going on?”

She groans.

“I knew this was some sort of intervention. Getting me a glass of water an’ shit - I know how this works, asshole.”

He shrugs. “It worked, didn’t it? You were getting overwhelmed back in the stables, and didn’t like how they were pestering you. I’m not pestering you; I’m asking.”

Mage groans again, throwing her head back onto the sofa, but doesn’t say anything, so he continues.

“Have you been overusing your magic? Sneezing isn’t one of your symptoms, last time you mentioned it.”

“No, I haven’t. I’d be coughing if I had.” She says it calmly - tired of the anger of it all, most likely. 

“Are you coming down with something, then?” He scoots a bit closer. “Let me check for fever, please?” 

She grumbles something under her breath that sounds suspiciously like ‘stupid fucking parental instincts’, but moves her head forward to let him check for fever. Nothing. Hmm.

“See, I’m completely healthy. Just the sniffles, innit. Only came on in the stables for no fuckin’ reason.”

Came on in the stables…?

“Mage, do you have a hay allergy?”

The fire that ignites upon her face as she shouts “I DO NOT!” catches Mercy completely off guard. It seems he hit the soft spot this entire charade has been protecting, then. Her head is immediately back up off the sofa, shoulders raised once more like a cat raising its hackles. Definitely hit the sensitive spot. 

“There’s nothing wrong with having hay fever, you know that right?”

“Ugh, but it’s so stupid!! Why am I allergic to fuckin– plants! The outdoors? It’s inconvenient and it hurts my eyes and I hate it! It shouldn’t exist, and so I have decided it doesn’t. I’m fine.”

Mercy sighs for what feels like the hundredth time today. Okay, they’ve identified the problem. They just need to find a solution.

"Link…" He starts.

"Don't you pull out the legal name on me!"

Yet another sigh. He takes a moment to carefully consider his words.

"I understand the inconvenience of pain. It would be infinitely easier if pretending it doesn't exist makes it so, but the truth is that it just... doesn't. It won't." Mercy looks at his cane leant up against the sofa. "Which means you have to acknowledge it head on. Which sucks, especially at the start, but it's the first step to putting things in place to make it easier."

"I don't think a case of the sniffles is the same as your disability, mate."

Mercy shrugs. "It works well enough as a comparison in this scenario. We're talking accommodations. If I were sitting here saying I'm going to ignore my leg pain to lift hay with Wolf, you'd be the first to tell me I'm being stupid. It goes both ways." 

Mage stares at him. She doesn't say anything, but he can see the cogs turning in her head - processing. Or finding a new angle to argue her side - either way, he follows it up with:

"It's perfectly fine to not be able to do everything. That's why we work together." 

Mage groans and throws her head back onto the sofa. Slumps fully into the sofa, even, sliding sideways until she's awkwardly smushed up against his thigh.

"I was midway through creating a potion to ease the symptoms when we were all whisked away - it's a massive pain in the ass when I'm gardening. I forgot to bring my trials with me when we moved eras again. This is all my own damn fault." She sniffs. Even indoors, her nose still seems to bother her.

"I'll let you in on a little secret: when I left the house to go to the market the morning we were dumped in Link's time, I got three streets away from home before realising I left my cane by the door." 

Mage laughs. "Well that would've fuckin' sucked, not having your cane in Walking: The Quest." Mercy laughs with her.

"Tell me about it." He sobers, slightly. "I also would've struggled to let you all know about my chronic issues without it as a visual cue. So don't feel bad about this whole situation, alright? Advocating for yourself is super embarrassing sometimes. Most of the time, actually."

Mage glares up at him. She's fully embraced laying on top of him at this point, wiggling around until she's more comfortably on his thigh, able to look right up at him. 

"Why'd you go and make it serious again? I was just getting over my cringe confession with comedic phrasing." 

"Mage... "

It's her turn to sigh.

"Yeah yeah, I know. Guilt does fuck all, yada yada, ask for help, whatever." 

"Thank you." 

They hold genuine eye contact for all of four seconds before Mage heaves herself up to her feet. And sneezes. Three times.

"Damn, I should not have laid down, man my nose is fucked." 

Mercy stands up beside her. "We'll get you that cure of 'allergic to plant cum' soon enough, don't worry. For now, let's actually go help Link with lunch." 

"Plant cum?! Why would you call it that?!!"

Mercy laughs.

ok this has been rotating in my brain (and i want it out of my brain before work) but i know i mention gan remembering all his lives completely out of order but here's some other fun facts- he's a different age in basically all of those lives too, and i can back that one up!

as he exists in his main verse, he's about 35 [as in he's in his early 30s when he finally shows up to meet with rauru] (at time of sealing), he has the build to prove it. i have no other way to describe this aside from he is just in general bulkier in build than younger lifetimes- and more lean than older lifetimes

"so what does that mean" ok so let's start with OoT (pre time skip), gan is still beefy because of course he is, but also he's notably more lean- broad shoulders yeah but damn he sure has a nice tapered waist lmao, also he behaves like he's younger- more prone to mocking his opponents and also he's impulsive and clearly doesn't actually have the current life experience to navigate through the hylian courts- this will come to bite him in the ass in TP timeline. so i slap pre-timeskip OoT gan at like ... 25 or so (which puts him at 32 or so after a 7 year time skip). he is a young ruler still, and his lack of experience shows, even if his words are pretty- and there's a fair chance that for as much as he thought he was playing the hylian court, they were actually playing him.

which leads into TP- if the premise of TP is that link goes BACK in time and tells people "yeah this dude's going to do shit", and soon after gan is sentenced to DEATH (and actually with what evidence other than the word of a kid who says he traveled time???), which means he's still that same rather inexperienced young man- and then he's banished to another realm since it turns out lmao he couldn't be killed by the sages!! and time passes weirdly there i'm sure, so his body has aged to maybe about 40 or so, he's definitely no longer the overconfident young man who first showed up to the hylian court!

in a similar energy, we have WW gan, who is definitely older- closer to 50 than 40 in looks; he's basically a wall of muscle, but he's also got a fair amount of healthy fat, which gives us our top tier dad-bod gan. except WW gan also has LIVED SO LONG and so he's super bitter because everything went to shit and actually not all of it was his fault!!!

HW gan is a more experienced warrior- he's got plenty of experience under his belt and is in his later 30s, pushing 40- he is a capable commander and it's more than just having natural charisma (which is something that he relied on as a young man in OoT- making up for a lack of experience with charisma and the ability to at least plan in some capacity- but in no way is OoT gan a masterful warlord, he's a better sorcerer than he is general, but a devoted king regardless),

anyway, all of these jumbled memories are why gan doesn't respond to rauru's summons until he's in his 30s (knowing if he goes when he's still "rather inexperienced" he's more likely to get fucked over), but it's also why he's overconfident (remembering how WW was ... arguably his win for a time, although it also means he has this sinking feeling that his victory will in the end be this lonely and hollow thing, and sometimes he wonders if it's really worth it) thanks for coming to my tedtalk

Hellooooo, do you happen to have anymore Arkhamverse Jason headcanons? Like, maybe post everything? I've been thinking about those comics again lmao

post means after so im assuming you mean like after what we see in the comic (i have yet to see playthroughs but i will someday so this is just from how it plays out in my head, also ive been doing hw so mind things that make no sense)

- Jason has this set idea that after this is over it’ll bring him a type of satisfaction but he just feels empty and without a purpose. He feels lost and kinda moves on autopilot and like he’s not really there.

- He already had some troubles with food but he for sometime he kept throwing everything up and not being able to keep anything down.

- Tries the preoccupy his mind with mindless shows/documentary or just taking it out on a punching bag but his thoughts stay jumbled and kinda floaty/unattached.

- He stands in front of a mirror again trying to see if he no longer sees a stranger, but it just makes things worse.

- On one occasion he drug his nail into his J scar and reopened the wound

- He frequently has nightmares but he barely if ever wakes screaming, in the basement he was usually mocked more harshly when he woke screaming whenever he managed to sleep

- Tries to stay awake as long as he can to avoid having the relive everything again

- His body crashes after everything now that theres no plan keeping him going (he get really sick for 3/4days)

Reborn Rich ending

I WAS SO CONFUSED. WHAT. THE. HELL. MY BRAIN WAS A MESS 10 MINS IN.

Oh but i am satisfied with it. Other than the fact the Hyun Woo and Do Jun have the same face I think they wraped it up well albeit it being a bit rushed in my opinion.

The whole body switch thing.... I will not question it because i think it was somewhat explained. It was guilt and repentance. For what both of them did to eachother, in a sense. DJ's secretary having a meltdown after all that trauma broke my heart but also left me confused because of the whole "they have the same face issue". Again, I will not question that part and stay with the notion that they had different appearences, but they could have show that to the viewers like they did in Moon Lovers for instance right at the begining of the show, or in some other smart way, idk.

I always suspected Young Ki, ever since his mother ordered the first accident. I thought he would definitely try to use that to get DJ out out of the way, and indeed he did unfortunately. What I did not see coming was him using his own son as a shield and making it seem like it was him all along, leaving Sung Jun no other choice but to give up his management rights. Smart move but it makes me wonder if he did that because Sung Jun confronted him or if he was always planning to use his son to get away with something like this when the time came. Sad to think that instead of learning not to do to his son what his father did to him, he just went and copied entirely. Which is what he was programmed to do his whole life: learn what his father did and how he did it to succeed the company.

I am mad that he died painlessly in a hospital bed tho. That is in no way the punishment he deserved after ordering someone's murder and living like a freaking king for 20 years thanks to it. Also, the rest of the family members just stepping down like that felt rushed, but i guess after having two of the familly members being prosecuted for murder and attempted murder (one of them dies in the meantime) they didn't really have a choice. Let's leave it at that.

I am glad we finally got Seo Min Young with a bit more of a central role in this episode. I do wish we at least got that more in the last few episodes but it is what it is. In the end she is alone, but i am happy that she got the answers she needed and can finally stop mourning and start living. Who knows, maybe in the future she and HW can be a thing and be happy together but that was not the point of the show.

As for HW. Finally he can live like a human being and work at the very same company he created as DJ, doing what he loves. Everything comes full circle. I found it odd that he was not charged with being an accomplice to murder, but maybe it could be proved that he had no idea he was there for that. I will also let that pass because I like seeing my man happy.

A big thank you to the wardrobe department finally giving Song Joong Ki some fitted clothes because holy shit did he look like a whole five course meal this episode.

I am happy with this ending and it really is in my top 10 kdrama list. The fact that they used business, finance and korean history (as well as world history) to tell this story is fascinating to me because they made it in a way that would captivate us viewers even if most of us would likely not understand what was going on in those bits. They kept it simple and interesting enough to keep us coming for more and could it easily have been boring if it was not welll done.

Song Joong Ki truly never misses and the man acted his ass off for this, take a bow sir. All the actors were fenomenal and it was a pleasure to watch them give life to each of their characters as well. However, in all honesty, the top actor spot for this drama is Lee Sung Min. The aura that man gave off and his whole performance is something else entirely and I am glad I got to witness it.

Reborn Rich post-series thoughts.

i rarely post my thoughts anywhere, and i usually don't look up and read through people's thoughts about a show (i only do this with marvel movies). but i did read some feedback, and i'm just itching to share my thoughts with Reborn Rich. so here ya go.

tl;dr: what if there is a deeper reason than repentance as to why hyeon woo lived a life as do joon? if so, then i think hyeon woo, regardless of the situation or the time, is meant to go back in time and become do joon. because do joon without hyeon woo probably would be a "nobody"; just a son of the disowned jin and his ex-actress wife. plus, that scene in the last episode where secretary ha in seok initially recognized h.w. as the accomplice, only to call him d.j. later on? it was because he recognized h.w. not as d.j.'s look-alike, but someone he used to serve prior to the accident.

in harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban, that scene where harry passed out at the lake because he got drained from trying to conjure his patronus so that he could protect sirius. but before passing out, he saw who he thought was his father save them from the dementors. right after, while still in the hospital wing, dumbledore tasked him to right some wrongs and help out in "making other men see the truth" via hermione's time-turner. and then cut to the time when harry was seeing the dementor attack from the opposite side of the lake. realizing that there was no james potter around to save sirius and him, he stood up and successfully conjured his patronus, thus making him the 'james potter' past!harry saw.

there was this concern of two harrys existing at the same point in time. there is this question of 'what would've happened to past!harry if future!harry didn't appear'? with how the story went, we can't say that "somebody else will rescue them", or "harry may be rescued in another way". one, for past!harry, everything was happening in a linear fashion. from his perspective, they were only saved when somebody successfully conjured a patronus from the other side of the lake. two, remember that patronuses are like a wizard's signature. story-wise, the only person mentioned to have a stag as their patronus at that time was james potter. which was why harry thought it was james who rescued them, right? but rather than using that scene to introduce a new character or an idea (that ghosts can now do magic) or something else, it was used to inform us that harry has also taken his patronus in the form of a stag. having said these, this could only mean that no matter what happens, harry was bound to travel back in time. because future!harry's presence in the past was a vital part in past!harry's events and of future!harry's self-discovery.

(for the sake of text, i'll be referring to hyeon woo as h.w., hyeon woo who traveled back in time as dj!hy, and do joon as d.j.) in reborn rich, there were a couple of times when dj!hy said that things that are bound to happen always happen without fail, one of which was when he tried to prevent h.w.'s mother's d**th, only for her to end up still d**d. given that dj!hw was gifted with knowledge about the future, why was it that, generally speaking, in all his plans and actions, saving his mother was the one and only thing that didn't go the way he wanted it to? because every single thing that took place happened the way they were supposed to happen.

so, does this mean that d.j. was meant to be the successor of soonyang? but how could d.j., the youngest son from the outcast family, earn that merit? one, there was the right of primogeniture. even though let's say that d.j. was really good at business, which was what the grandfather liked, would that be enough for the grandfather to break the primogeniture? plus we have to remember that seong jun was also, in a way, an adored grandson. he's a first-born son from the first-born son (young ki). and in their culture, we all know how much that means to the family. i think that for d.j., if he was really just good at business, the most he could get was a high position at a subsidiary and the least was probably a point-something percent of shares (or maybe vice versa, i'm not really sure). but for d.j, to be considered as the successor of soonyang, he must have something more than good business skills to be given a shot. what could be his edge? what could that something be that his uncles, aunt, and cousin don't have? it is the full understanding of their iron-clad grandfather. remember when young ki was tasked to buy hando steel? he had to ask secretary hang jae what his father was thinking, and he just asked because hang jae knows his father better than he or his sibling does. and that's a lot coming from the eldest son. if that question came from the person that's living under the same roof as the jin yang cheol, how much more do you expect the outcasted grandson to understand his grandfather? and this, i think, is how h.w.'s presence is a vital part of d.j.'s life. it was h.w. who made d.j. who he was: the unexpectedly adored grandson and a threat to the succession of ownership of soonyang. if there was no h.w., d.j. is basically a nobody. h.w. was meant to live out d.j.'s life for things to happen as how they happened.

another thing. when h.w. in ep 16 said that he "finally know now [that] it wasn't possession or time traveling [but his] repentance for d.j. and himself", that is only half true. because he was only seeing things from his perspective. if repentance was all h.w. needed, why was there a need for h.w. to go back in time to where d.j. was 10? he could've gone back only on the day of the accident, remembered that he was an (unknowing) accomplice to d.j.'s d**th, and then decide to just spill the truth in the hearing, right? but if we looked at things from d.j.'s perspective (dissociating h.w. from d.j.), d.j. needed something from h.w. as well. d.j. with the help of h.w. got himself and his family out of being outcasted, received attention and even affection from his grandfather, and had a shot at having soonyang, which everyone deemed impossible.

and so—although this part now is headcanon—the reason why nobody recognized h.w. as d.j.'s look-alike except for d.j.'s secretary, ha in seok, is just to highlight in seok recognizing h.w. (although i think they still could've done something better). in seok didn't recognize h.w. as someone who just looks like d.j.. rather, he recognized h.w. as both the accomplice and the boss, that the two are actually one and the same. but still, in terms of production, i think they should've taken advantage of his alcoholic demetia to plant doubt in the viewers' minds regarding that part. but no, the team chose to frustrate us by making it look like the jins, min yeong, and mason collectively became blind and not see h.w. and d.j.'s outward similarities. but then, there may be something that we still don't know or haven't realized yet. but yeah, generally speaking, that's my take on that h.w.-in seok scene.
