Automation is one of the biggest job killers. Robots replaced spot welders and other workers on the assembly line. Computers swept away office jobs.

One of the UAW’s demands is a 32-hour work week to keep and create jobs. Technology should be used to make people’s lives better, not to increase joblessness and misery.

It’s outrageous that some people are forced to work overtime while 6.4 million people were unemployed in August. Another 5.4 million currently want a job but are not even counted as belonging to the labor force.

I am feeling so blessed, I never knew the full extent of having so many words!!!! It makes me feel sad knowing that so many people live without this luxury, but oh well!! Anyways... I have been doing good, besides the few oddities here and there like noises outside my window. I am sure i'm just paranoid LOL!! Ideas for the Three-Day-Workweek:

If you want a day where your entire team/company is together: you could have the office be open Monday through Friday, have one day where everyone is in office, then stagger your team/employees between the remaining four days. For example, you could have Monday be the everyone day, then have a Tuesday/Thursday group and a Wednesday/Friday group. Or you could do whole team Wednesday, with a Monday/Tuesday group and a Thursday/Friday group.

If you don't need a whole-team/company day, you could let your employees choose the days they want to work (which countless researchers have found improves productivity exponentially). This would potentially also save Facilities costs, since there could be days with nobody in the office.
