The instance the words leave his lips, your heart free falls—no, plummets—to the pit of the Earth. This isn’t how it was supposed to go. He shouldn’t have found out this way.

You can’t bring the anxious quiver in your lips to stop when your mind travels at lightning speed trying to come up with a response. An explanation. An excuse. A lie.

But nothing comes out.

There’s nothing that you can bring yourself to say.

You messed up.

Are you even sorry? Or are you Just sorry you got caught?

Your eyes mindlessly stare at the box of pills like it’s going to vanish into thin air and you desperately want to witness it.

Doesn’t happen, though. The box stares back at you like it’s mocking you. Laughing in your face whilst being in his grasp.

He says your name. Quietly. Angrily. Repeats it when you don’t respond. Sounds like his voice is inside your head yet it also sounds like it’s coming from a galaxy that is seven million light years away.

After what seems like ages—which in reality was just a few seconds—you finally find the voice in the back of your throat that seemingly abandoned you in your time of need. “It’s an old box of pills and besides, why are you snoopi–”

“The label says you bought these two days ago. I’m not fucking stupid.” The words don’t just roll off his tongue, they launch out of his mouth like a spear. Penetrates your chest. The tip of said deadly spear nudges at your heart. Pokes it a little. Maybe makes it bleed a little, you’re not too sure.

Your panicked gaze slowly shifts to meet his angry eyes after he aggressively throws the box back onto your dresser.

“And if you’re going to berate me for snooping, someone has been trying to reach you. Called you 3 times. Just went to check to make sure it wasn’t an emergency.” He steps aside and nods towards your purse, which is now lying on its side, wide open with the contents spilled out. Your phone. Lip gloss. Wallet. Tube of Vaseline. 3 q-tips. Pack of gum. Few loose pain killer capsules.

You slowly start shaking your head and take a small step back, hoping to enlarge the distance between the two of you that you had tried to close just a few moments ago. “You won’t get it, so just–”

“No,” he says as he stomps to you, wrapping his hand around your bicep to stop you in your tracks. “You’re going to stop fucking lying to me. What the hell has been going on with you? Why are you acting like this?”

You try to wiggle your arm out of his grasp but he doesn’t let you go that easily. Tightens his grip. Enough to keep you still. Doesn’t hurt, though.

“Let me go.”

“No.”

“Let me g–”

He pulls you a little closer. Not in a romantic way. In a don’t-you-move-an-inch way. “Why won’t you just talk to me? I don’t understand why you keep pushing me away.”

Swallowing is starting to feel like sandpaper scratching its way down your esophagus. “Please, just– stop.”

He shakes his head, damp black hair swinging back and forth. Water dripping off his ends onto his shoulders like shiny pearls. They drop onto the fabric of his shirt, creating tiny little polka dots that are darker than the color of his shirt. “No, I won’t stop. You’re crossing the fucking line and you know it.”

He’s got you. That much is clear.

The silence that envelops around you is so prominent. Heavy. Wraps around you. Kind of like you’re a fetus in a pregnant belly.

Heat starts rising to your nose and cheeks, enough for you to realize that you’re starting to get emotional. Doesn’t take much longer for tears to start rolling down your cheeks.

Is there any point in hiding it now?

“You’ll never understand, Yoongi.” You shake your head as you bring your hand up. Wipe your nose with the back of your hand. Sniff softly.

His chest deflates as he heavily exhales. Feline eyes soften for a moment before his brows pinch together again. “Then make me understand.” His voice is still angry. Furious. Fuming.

“Nothing’s been the same for me, don’t you get it?” you shakily murmur, finally wiggling out of Yoongi’s grasp but not bothering yourself to get rid of the proximity between you two. Somewhere there’s comfort in it. “I know I shouldn’t have got those, I fucking know. But what you don’t know is what it feels like, okay?”

“Like what fee– What the hell are you even talking about?”

You cut him off. Burst out. “I feel disgusting, okay?”

His frown deepens. Eyes never leave you. The intensity on his features keeps you glued to the floor beneath your bare feet.

Before he can even respond, you continue with your outburst. “You don’t know what it’s like to have been the it-girl, to have been looked at and craved by any- and everyone and to now look and feel like this.”

It’s the truth. Yoongi was the king of your college because he had you. You made heads turn. You made guys fight their best friends. You made girls copy your clothes and makeup.

And now, here you are. Gotten rid of a full-length mirror in your bathroom because you hated seeing yourself naked.

Silence prevails once again. Just for a few moments that feel like centuries.

His expression doesn’t change. “Like what?”

“Ugly! Fat! Disgusting! Don’t you get it? My hair fell out, I have stretchmarks and scars all over my body, my tooth fell out at one point, my boobs are saggy, I don’t feel like taking care of myself. I burst into tears whenever I even remotely look at myself.”

You continue, pointing an accusatory finger at Yoongi and press it into his chest until he winces. “And don’t you fucking get it wrong. I fucking love Jun. I would do it all over again. I love being his mother and there’s nothing, absolutely nothing, that I’d change it for. But nothing prepared me for this. I haven’t gone out, I haven’t done anything. I bring Jun to daycare and pick him up and that’s it.”

You start backing away from him. Lips still quivering and brows furrowed in hurt.

As you approach your bed, you sink down. Bury your face in your palms. Sob a little. “But then we started being intimate again and you made me feel so beautiful. So wanted. I didn’t see it coming at all. Like everything I was seeing was a lie and everything you saw was the undeniable truth.”

You take a shaky breath to continue, “I meant it when I said I wanted the baby, that was never a lie. I wouldn’t lie about that. But as we kept having sex, you just…” you sniff, “made me so addicted to the way you made me feel. Made me feel so good physically but also like I was the most beautiful woman on the planet.”

Your eyes involuntarily shift up to meet his but in the instance you do, you regret it.

He’s frowning. Black eyes staring you down. Arms crossed over his chest. Looks like his mind is racing at a million miles a minute.

You drop your head again, hurt coating your voice. “I got scared. Scared that I’d get pregnant when I was finally starting to gain some of my self esteem back. Scared that I’d have to end our arrangement and we wouldn’t have that anymore. That I wouldn’t see you anymore.” You steal another glance at him before shifting your eyes back to the floor. His face is still the same. “I decided to get birth control the day before the award ceremony. I swear, I just wanted to delay the pregnancy only by a month or two. I just wanted to feel okay for a little while longer.”

It’s quiet. Really quiet. Your vision is blurry. Makes the floor look like a pool of blood thanks to the bordeaux rug. Makes his feet look like two hazy clouds.

You hold your heart when he finally speaks up. “Why didn’t you just tell me?”

Ugh.

He doesn’t get it. He will never understand. Never.

“Because it’s humiliating! It’s embarrassing. I…” You exhale deeply in an attempt to compose yourself. “I’m ashamed, okay? The man that once saw me as the queen of the world has to see me come down to this? I didn’t want you to think of me as this… this pathetic, insecure woman. I didn’t want you to think ‘is this really what I once loved?’.”

The frown on his brows deepens. He kind of looks genuinely offended but still tries to keep the rest of his expression as neutral as possible. He’s failing, though.

Not possible when the line between his brows looks deeper than the Pacific Ocean. When his lips twitch like he wants to yell. When the veins in his neck look like they want to pop out of his skin.

You take a deep breath after the explanation. Hang your head down. Wipe your tears with your palms. Sniff quietly. Allow a soft sob to escape your system—which makes your frame tremble slightly.

All those days, weeks, months that you spent hating yourself. Mourning the you that once was. Mourning the Yoongi that loved you.

It all comes back to you in the form of tears. Sobs. Pain.

It’s so quiet that you hear him preparing to speak. The way his lips kiss his teeth. Clears his throat. He says your name. Once. Twice. Sighs when you don’t react.

Then he gently places your phone in your lap.

Missed call (5)

You sniff and wipe your nose clean. You clear your throat and dial her number. Hold your phone to your ear. Sigh softly before you let out a croaky, “hello?”

Yoongi turns his back to you. Sighs loudly as he runs his hands through his hair and tries to process all the information you just dumped on him.

Your mother sounds distressed on the other side of the line. “What the hell took you so long?”

“Sorry, I was in the showe–”

“Stop, stop,” your mom pauses. “You need to get to the hospital right now.”

Your heartbeat stutters in its rhythm. You shoot up from your seat right away. The back of your phone becomes slimy from the amount of sweat your palm has produced.

Goosebumps pop out of the upper layer of your skin. “What? The hospital? What happened?” The turmoil in your soul makes all of your limbs shiver.

Yoongi’s head snaps towards you. Horror is written all over his face. Lips parted in shock and body frozen in a state of panic.

“Just get here. I don’t want you to drive recklessly.”

You reach for your clothes as you tilt your head to your shoulder to keep the phone trapped as you slide your pants onto your legs. “Mom! I’m gonna drive recklessly now anyway! Tell me what happ– Oh, God. Is it Jun? Did something happen? What happ–”

Your mother cuts you off. “Stop it! Just get here.”

“Mom, I swear, you’re gonna tell me what the hell happened to Jun right no–”

A big pair of hands grab you by the shoulders and shake you out of your state of panic. At least they try to. Your eyes shift up, meeting black concerned eyes that are begging you to just listen to your mother for a moment.

The other line goes silent. Just for a few seconds.

“Jun had a seizure.”

Cleooo im the anon that promised to write my void success story!

Sooo this is my journey:

I found out about the void in late june, it was my 12 year old sister that had told me about it/loa, (i'm 17 btw) and at first I was like "no this is fake, no way" during the course of june-the day i entered the void i had only actually tried to enter 5 times, each time i flipped over and went to sleep. I would constantly doubt myself and procrastinate the void i was like, "nah, i'll do it tmr instead" etc. what got me together was the fact that my sister kept telling me how good our lives would be like when we entered (I was struggling much more than her). She was more interested in manifesting without the void. Anyways I imagined myself with the life of my dreams gave myself pep talks and on september 19th I told myself "fck it, I'm entering the void tonight"

This is how I entered:

I meditated to clear all the thoughts out of my mind (I did the 444 breathing method, inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 4)

Once there were NO thoughts in my mind I begin to affirm ("I am in the void", "I am the void" were the ones I used)

After about 2-3 mins (I can't remember exactly) I felt like I was being sucked into darkness, complete fcking darkness

I kept affirming for about another minute then I got that floating feeling and by that point I knew I was in the void

I was in complete darkness ( i didn't see any stars btw) , I couldn't feel anything or hear anything, I felt like I was pure, just..me it's hard to explain but tbh it was he best feeling ever

I used the blanket affirmation: "I have all my desires from my notes app" and then I was outta the void

the feeling coming out of the void was... CRAZY i've never experience before.. it was surreal

You don't know that George isn't doing it.

This is straight up lack of character at this point. The only one the team, the TP and the driver talk about different and extreme setups is Lewis and he's been doing that for 3 years now, let's put our heads to use, that's not new and isn't hidden.

Toto is complaining about Lewis being happy and you guys don't think that's bad, since feb he's been shady and straight up rude and yall are full of excuses of "lost in translation" or "miscommunication", the guy has been a TP for 10 years now and he doesn't know how to talk to the media? It got to a point that Lewis, that got a lot better in his communication, threw some indirects or are we going to deny that "people talking shit about my move" isn't aimed at Toto too? It's not that hard to see that things aren't good there and won't kill anyone to acknowledge it

These are all interpretations you're making though.

Because Lewis is more vocal about the setup doesn't mean George isn't also trying things. We don't even know what the parameters for that are.

Maybe Lewis is the only one trying things, even though that would make no sense strategically or practically. Or maybe they're both trying things which would make a lot more sense. Maybe they both have things to try during FPs and what they do after that is up to them and Lewis being Lewis he chooses to try even more things like him taking responsibility for last week's setup seems to hint at. Or maybe he's somehow forced by the team to keep trying more things when George isn't for some reason but that again seems unlikely. Maybe George is actually also trying more things in quali and race but he's just doing it better or not pushing it as far so it's working better for him. Maybe it's every other weekend. Maybe the setups are handed to the drivers at random.

My point is we have no idea what's actually happening in these sessions and who's doing what. We do not actually know what these "setup experiments" entail. At all.

He's also not being doing that for 3 years straight. The first year they started talking about the experiments he said, and the team said, he stopped doing it halfway through the season. And we had the same convo at the time that he was the only one trying and there already wasn't any proof of that (or even hints or comms that it wasn't the case iirc).

You also interpreted what Toto said as a complaint. You don't know that he said it as a complaint. You didn't hear him say it. He might have been laughing and joking. He might have been sullen. It changes the meaning of things. Also let me repeat he isn't wrong. Lewis has been down about the car perf since '22 and all of a sudden he's in a good mood. It is surprising. Good for him though, I'd rather he laughs it off than be depressed. But I'm also surprised. Saying it as a TP is kinda weird, yes. But it's not an insult.

From the start I've been saying that Toto's not doing his job well atm. I'm not denying that. For sure he's factually at best being clumsy. But it also doesn't mean he's being malicious. We don't know that. You also don't know that Lewis was talking about Toto, this is another interpretation you're making. Toto hasn't been the only one making comments about Lewis. The entirety of F1 media has.

Some of your interpretations might be right, some of them might not, in any case you're entitled to your ideas and you're welcome to share them. But you don't actually know for a fact that this is the truth. It's just your opinion just like what I'm saying is mine.

Nobody's denying that things aren't good in the team right now. But that doesn't mean there's a conspiracy against Lewis, doesn't mean Toto is relentlessly criticising him, and it most certainly doesn't mean George isn't also testing stuff. Those are all possibilities, hypotheses, fan theories. I'm trying to keep things in perspective here by pointing out that there are other interpretations that can be made of these things.

But if it's down to my own unverified opinion, I just don't agree with you on this, and that's OK.

Hongjoong’s was definitely both the hair and his performance during the medley. He looked so confident and magnetic. Also he was speaking very eloquently and you could tell he put a lot of thought into what he wanted to say every time he spoke. At one point the whole place started chanting “CAPTAIN” at him and I have never seen him smile so bright and I got to see it in PERSON. He said we were the loudest crowd he had had yet. I had a security guard next to me who was vibing the whole show, afterwards I asked him who his favorite was and he said Oreo guy.

Seonghwa???? My man’s came out with a SWORD and this is no joke I was mid scream the first time I saw him and I literally stopped dead and just stared. He quite literally took my breath away. I saw the undercut in person yall I can die happy. Not to mention he was feelin himself in take me home which is banger cuz that’s my favorite song. I could listen to him talk for hours. He was getting very involved durning the performances, coming up to the edge of the crowd and leading the light sticks and chanting with us. He was just very much in the element of ~performing- and he looked beautiful doing it.

Yunho was defo getting a lot of attention lol. Tbh I don’t remember much of him from the songs but he did the majority of the talking and was supper interactive with the fans. Every time he spoke everyone lost their minds and when we did the wave correctly he cheered for us the loudest. He also clowned San during wave lol. I don’t think he stopped smiling once lol. He did the Harry Potter “i have a secret, it’s that I’m a wizard” thing and literally pulled out glasses and a wand. I literally leaned over to my friend and said that if any one else in the world did that I would have hated it but just because it is Yunho I loved it.

Yeosang oh Yeosang. I don’t even know where to start. He was definitely the fan favorite every time his face should on screen during a song or otherwise people lost their absolute minds screaming at the top of their lungs pounding their feet on the floor stomping jumping swinging light sticks, just losing it. he looked so stunning not to mention how shy and excited he got listening to our cheers. On several occasions he took out his in ear monitors to listen to us cheer and it would go on for several minutes just people screaming for him. He called us his happiness.

San was just the sweetest. He was having a lot of fun running around and playing. He giggled every time we cheered for him. A couple of times during the show the crowd would stomp our feet while cheering to add to the volume and San LOVED that, he started joining in whenever we did. Yunho clowned him during wave by doing the hand thing and of course the entire crowd did it so and he gave us a cheeky “good job” it was sweet. Shook his ass in front of 10 thousand people. Like obviously he looked sexy during songs but you’ve probably already seen those shots from other concerts.

Mingi was another fan favorite, people just loved him. I think he was pretty shy not being able to speak English as well as some other members as he was one of the only ones using the translator to talk but the crowd did not care every time he finished the and translator Told us what he said the amount of screams and awes and ooos was insane. People really wanted him to know we understood him and I think that made him happy. The best part was when he said “atiny saranghae!” We didn’t have to hear the translation the crowd immediately started cheering back.

For Wooyoung this is kinda sad but I at least didn’t see very much of him. I was right behind the floor so I got a good view of both the stage and the screens but I was to far away to always tell where they all were on stage so I was watching my the screens for a lot of it and they just didn’t show him that much. I normally don’t talk about stuff like this on her but he doesn’t get very many lines so we didn’t see him much while performing and he didn’t talk very much during the speaking parts and I think that once again it might be because he had to use the translator. Obviously he had some fun moments interacting with the members on stage and obviously the crowd screamed hard for him when we did see him but other than that nothing comes to mind.

Jongho was the other only member to rely on the translator but I think even with that he was having a good time. Obviously vocal legend could never be out done. The crowd losing their minds at every high note and at one point yunho poked his smiley dimples and I think I physically combusted. He rapped one of Mingi’s raps for us which then turned into a jongho Seonghwa San mini rap battle. I loved his last outfit which I know you don’t know what it is but it was basically this colorful shirt sleeve button down and he just looked very jongho if you know what I mean.

As he grew up he thought he was straight but over the years he has found that he only feels a true draw to people when he has a deep emotional connection with them. It takes him a lot of time to develop a relationship with someone and because of that he doesn’t have many exes. When he was in school he had a couple almost relationships with girls he thought he liked but as he has gotten older he has had one relationship with a man he thought might go somewhere but war has a way of tearing things apart. He finds himself unwilling to open himself up to anyone since his return to the fold of society and he would almost swear that he had no interest in love again but he has found himself unable to fully give up hope of finding happiness with someone.

Gideon has used his ability to pull people in to his advantage many times normally thinking that his way of thinking is the best way of thinking. Loving. Gideon has always been a warm and affectionate person. Though this trait has been hidden lately since his return. He used to pull people in gripping them in tight hugs with big smiles though now he tends to keep people at arms length. His hugs have gotten stiff and almost reluctant with those he used to love to be affectionate with. The drastic change in his behavior is obvious to those who know him best though he tries to hide it behind a smile.

Ruthless. Gideon has learned to be ruthless from the job he chose to do to the time he spent locked away being tortured for information by the death eaters a part of his humanity has fallen away forever. He felt part of himself die in the basement they were locked away in and he doesn’t believe that it can come back. He’s resistant to tell those who care about him about it not wanting to seem as though he’s lost anything from his time there. His darker side has started to show through more though. His control is slipping more and more every day and he keeps having to remind himself of the reasons why he can’t fully let go and let his anger lead his path. Stubborn. Gideon has always been stubborn. From not wanting to respect curfew in school to not accepting that he may be wrong about his new stances in the war. He hates to hear that he’s wrong and to bring him around to the other sides of things takes a lot of work on the other side of the person. Gideon is on a thin line between the fun loving man that he used to be and the tortured soul that he’s become. Anger and frustration are his constant companions and he’s forced to try to hide them behind a smile that never quite reaches his eyes anymore. He’s a man at war within himself while he’s trying to participate in the war that is raging around them. Gideon is a bit lost and he’s trying to find his way back on the path he was on before fate found him locked away.

BRIEF OVERVIEW OF FAMILY:

Gideon grew up in a loving home. His parents raised him in a way that was not as elitist as the other pureblood families but there were definitely some of those pureblood traits that filtered into his family. He grew up on the outside of the truly elite but not exactly so outside that he was looked down on as much as those who weren’t of pure blood. He loved growing up with his brother and sister. As the oldest boy of the family he often felt it was his job to take charge of his siblings. From deciding which games they should play to telling them how they should live their lives. Though he often came off as bossy he still got on well with his siblings and he loved them more than anything.

Now he would give anything for either of his siblings and his nephews completely own his heart. He can’t imagine his life without them. That’s why it’s such a heart wrenching thing to know that he and Fabian have grown apart. They always used to walk down each new path of life together that exact reason is why Gideon decided to join the Order in the first place. In these uncertain dangerous times it’s even more important to fix their relationship and yet it’s because of these times that he can’t seem to find his way back to Fabian. He knows that his being gone and Fabian having to think he was dead was hard for his twin. He knows that being the one left in the world had to be as much pain as Gideon went through himself but he finds that even though he thought of his twin everyday that he was away he can’t seem to find his way all the way back to him.

OCCUPATION:

Hitwizard. Gideon had always known that he wanted to be in law enforcement. He had always had a strong sense of justice and he had dreamed of being an auror. His grades prevented him from ever realizing that dream though and he was more than happy to become a hitwizard for the ministry instead. He had always been good in a fight though the toll of the torture he suffered all that time with the death eaters has taken a toll on his body. Where he once relished a good fight with those he was sent after he has learned to prefer stealth. Always trying to take them out from the shadows now to spare his body the pain that he knows would await him if he was too enthusiastic in a fight.

LIVING SITUATION:

Gideon used to have a flat with Fabian. His brother had been an obvious choice as someone to live with. Gideon had never enjoyed being alone and his twin was his other half. He needed to have him in his life and them living together maybe was more for his own benefit but he had been grateful for him. Upon his return to life he moved into his own flat. He is certain that Fabian is upset over it but Gideon can’t have even his twin with him in his home. He needs to feel as if he can be in his own space and not have anyone else around. He feels unsafe with others in his home and because of this he rarely allows anyone to come over. Spells and wards keep people who would normally be allowed in his home anytime they wished to be out of his space. He wishes he could go back to living with his twin and being around him as often as he had before but something in him demands that space be kept to himself. Perhaps in the future he’ll be able to live with his twin again but for now he can’t stand the thought of it.

ORDER OF THE PHOENIX:

Gideon was against joining the Order from the start. He’s a hit wizard a member of the ministry he didn’t see how he could support an illegal group of people going out to fight in a war. Fabian joining the Order had come as a complete surprise and Gideon resisted for quite awhile afterwards. It put a strain on their relationship that was only fixed when Gideon broke down and joined the Order as well. He believed in what the Order stands for but he didn’t want to go against the law. He’s come to accept the fact that the Order is for the greater good and he’s kept it separate from his work life. He believes that because others that he works with closely are in the Order it’s been easier for him to accept.

As far as his role. It’s changed many times. When he first joined he was just a foot soldier really. Content to follow along and take orders and he did so for quite a while. The longer he was in the Order though the more responsibility he seemed to pick up. Before he was taken he was quite involved in decisions that were being made. He knew quite a bit about what was going on and he led several missions for the Order. He was in no way the leading figure but he had worked his way up a bit in the ranks.

Since returning from being away he has taken a step back. Partly by choice and partly by force. He feels that he isn’t in the right place to be leading any missions for the group. He is happy to follow along and help to fulfil any mission they send him on but part of him is becoming restless. He feels resentment towards the group as a whole for how long they were locked away. He had watched the others that had been taken with him suffer along beside him for too long and he wondered if they truly put forth the effort to find them that they should have. His increasing need for action not only has caused him problems at work but in the organization as well. He knows that he’s barely hanging on and he needs to find something to ground him. He has taken to being the muscle in most of the situations he finds himself in and turning his brain off as much as he can. He’s grown used to acting without thinking and throws that into the hands of people who have clearer minds.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Fabian Prewett- His other half. Gideon held on for so long after he was taken because of the thought of returning to his brother. There were many nights when the torture became too much and Gideon wished for it to all end but the thought of seeing his twin again kept him moving forward. He would do anything for his brother and he loves him more than anyone. Their relationship has started to become strained though. He moved out of their shared flat after returning needing his own space and Gideon doesn’t know if Fabian has forgiven him for that. Gideon in turn doesn’t know if he’s forgiven Fabian for believing him to be dead. He knows that he was gone for a long time and that the chances of his return were slim to the people who were left behind but a part of him feels that their connection as twins should have been enough for Fabian to know that he was still alive. He wonders how long his twin truly looked for him after he was gone. He wants to move forward with his twin and he still loves him a lot but he finds it hard to open up to him now. He’s not sure how much he can truly share about his experience without hurting Fabian but he fears that he’ll never be able to be truly himself with his brother if he’s not able to open up to him. A small part of him also knows that Fabian is looking for him to continue the family line and Gideon is unsure that he’ll ever be able to do that. The pressure to marry and woman and settle down with children would never have been a problem before but now he’s so off put by the thought of romance that he can’t seem to accept that possibility. He can’t even promise his brother that he would fall for a woman and he wonders if the knowledge of that would put even more strain on their relationship.

James Potter – James is younger than Gideon and if he’s honest he never really thought of him too much until they were both taken. He respects James now and would do anything for him. He feels that their group has formed a bond and he clings to that knowing that the four of them were the only ones who could ever possibly know how it felt to be there. He opens up to James more than the others about the anger he carries believing that James is a safe space to open up to. He was the oldest of the four of them and he held it together as much as he could for them while they were taken but now he feels himself starting to break down and he’s afraid to show that to anyone who he isn’t sure he can trust.

Emmeline Vance and Marlene McKinnon – The girls are a soft spot for him for different reasons. Marlene was strong and a voice of wisdom during their time together. She was stoic in the face of torture and Gideon feels great admiration and fondness for her. He respects her though is less open with the girls in general because he feels they’ve been through enough and don’t need his own problems placed on them now. Emmeline was so new to the Order when she was taken. A young sweet girl that held out as long as she could. Gideon never blamed her for breaking and saying all she knew. She was strong in her own way. She survived and that took it’s own kind of strength. Whispers about her float through the Order but Gideon would like to see any of those who dare to speak withstand the same tortures that she did. He would defend her until the end and he views her as a younger sister.

Amelia Bones – Amelia has earned his trust. He’s not sure when it happened but he feels that he could trust her with his life and that’s not something that he feels about most people at this point in his life. He respects her drive and feels that she’s someone who would stand up to anyone she thought was wrong. He likes that about her and though they weren’t close in school they’ve become close since his return. They had started a friendship before he was taken and he while he has kept most others at arms length since coming back he has allowed her closer finding comfort in her company.

Theodosia Selwyn, Severus Snape. – Both defectors from the death eaters that have supposedly seen the light. Gideon doesn’t believe in the act. He suspects them of still working for the other side and he has been keeping an eye on them. He was once good friends with Theo and perhaps could have been more but those times are dead and gone. She picked the wrong side at the start of this war and nothing she says now can change his opinion on her. He doesn’t believe either of them and he prefers to not give them any information that they don’t need to have. He knows that others in the Order believe that they’re on their side now but Gideon doesn’t think he ever could. He knows it might be wrong but the scars that cover his body from the death eaters remind him just how cunning and vicious the death eaters can be. It would take a miracle for him to trust either of them.

Frank Longbottom. – Frank is someone who Gideon respects. He was the first one to tell Gideon about the Order and they work closely together. Gideon has been keeping Frank at arms length since his return but he feels badly for the problems his absence has caused between Frank and his twin brother. He knows that his disappearance but a strain on their friendship and he wishes he could help them through it but he isn’t entirely sure that he can fully trust himself in a relationship with Frank at the moment. He doesn’t want to look too unstable in front of Frank and he makes sure to keep his fake smile in place when he is around.

Peter Pettigrew. - Gideon can feel Peter’s eyes on him a bit too often since his return. He knows Peter is a loud voice within the Order but he finds the unwanted attention to be irksome. He doesn’t enjoy the thought that someone might be able to see through the mask he’s been wearing and for some reason he feels that Peter might be able to. He tries harder to not slip around Peter for this reason but he feels the harder he tries the more Peter’s gaze falls on him.

Dorcas Meadowes. – Gideon knows that Dorcas has been viewing him as a bit of a broken thing. The rage within him and the urge to fight only grow stronger but his outward appearance tends to show the opposite. The tight control he thinks he has to have on his emotions makes him look almost aloof at times now and he knows he’s not the same man she used to be friends with. He wants to be that person for her again but he’s unsure if he can afford to let go when all he feels is anger and pain now.

OOC EXPLORATION:

SHIPS/ANTI-SHIPS: Gideon/Chemistry is the main ship for me tbh. Gideon isn’t in a romantic mindset with anyone right now and he feels it would be asking a lot of him to explore that with anyone. He trusts Amelia implicitly and would perhaps consider exploring something with her but I can also see them having something like a bestie or brother/sister kind of thing. Otherwise it would have to be someone who has earned his trust and who he can see himself being vulnerable with which isn’t a long list of people.

INTERPERSONAL STRUGGLES:

Gideon is divided into two minds since his return. While he is trying to appear as being okay it’s clear to those around him that he’s not. He’s pasted a fake smile on his lips and adopted the motto of “Everything is alright” that he’s almost starting to believe it himself at times. I think the main struggle is going to be controlling himself while being in the Order. I think that the leash that they ultimately have to have around him is starting to get to be too much. Part of him blames the Order for not finding them and for giving up on them. The news that they had a memorial for them has left him feeling almost numb inside. He wonders how long they truly tried to find them before giving up. He’s also heard about the death of Benjy after their memorial when some of them tried to find them one last time and it hurts him to know that it was done partly in his name. He is torn between wanting to be angry with them for not being successful when it came to finding them and not wanting any of them to be hurt for him. Gideon is also struggling with his brother’s emotions over his disappearance. Words have not been exchanged between them about how things were for either of them while he was gone but he’s heard stories about how Fabian was. Frank has opened up a bit about the anger that Fabian seems to have put on him and Gideon feels a struggle within himself to stand up for Frank knowing it wasn’t his fault when Gideon himself wonders why Frank and the others were never able to find them.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO? Obvs you guys brought me here but the roleplay plots is so good and I love the marauders era so it’s honestly just fantastic. Gideon is my fav as always and I couldn’t not apply after reading his bio. I’m looking forward to all the angst and all the great times.

PLOT DROP IDEAS (OPTIONAL):

Any things you’d like to see for the plot drops? These can be full roleplay based or character-specific. I would love to see Gideon open up to someone about his time being locked away. I think he refuses to speak about it a lot because he doesn’t like to think about his time but I would love to see him comfortable enough to open up to someone about it. I would love to see him have to confront his growing anger issues

I think that he has been pushing a lot of emotions down after returning and at some point it all has to come to a head most likely blowing up in his face.

I would love to see him confront his growing feelings about the Order. Gideon is ready to start taking more action now almost on the point of recklessness. I would love to see if someone will be able to reign him in of if his life will blow up from not being able to control himself in his new life.

I think it would be great if he came to confront some of the people who tortured him and had to play nice with them. I feel like it would be a great test for his self control and be great for angst.

The people who have defected from the death eaters and joined in with the Order I feel like he would be suspicious of anyone he thought of as being at all associated with the death eaters. I would love to see some tension within the Order between him and them.
