Yandere!Usos: Standing Up For Myself

author’s pov: hey, long time no see huh? sorry for being so MIA, i’ve been drained of any creative flow and have also been relaxing after a stressful year in 2022! anyway, who enjoyed Royal Rumble 2023 - i definitely did, 100%.

i’ve been loving the development of the storyline between Sami Zayn and the Bloodline. i’m over the moon Sami finally turned on Roman and has had enough of his bullshit. but i didn’t expect Jey to walk out like that - things have gotten so much more interesting.

i hope Sami and Jey get their well-deserved main event moments. i know the rumored plan is for Sami to face Roman at Elimination Chamber and then for Sami and Kevin to go after the tag titles but with the new angle regarding Jey - idk what’ll happen.

but i’m very excited to see how it evolves following the Royal Rumble situation. the entire crowd cheered when Sami hit Roman with the chair intended for Kevin. but this could be the possible downfall of the Bloodline with Roman reaping what he sows.

also congratulations to Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley for winning the rumble. i very much expected this, i can’t wait for Wrestlemania - i’ve honestly never been so excited for a Wrestlemania before.

anyway, enough blabber from me. enjoy the fic!

pov: you’ve had enough and decided to take a stand. you just didn’t know the consequences that’ll come with your change of heart.

You couldn’t go on like this anymore.

The final straw was watching helplessly as they mercilessly beat up Sami and Kevin. No matter how hard you tried to suppress the tears, they still ran down your face.

Scrunching your hands into fists, you turn around so you didn’t have to witness the atrocity happening. You’d wince every time Roman hit Sami with the chair intended for Kevin, a fresh batch of tears forming each time.

After everything he endured, Sami finally had enough. He was fed up with Roman using him and decided to take a much-needed stand against Roman. It was satisfying to watch Sami hit Roman with the chair intended for Kevin. You were beyond proud of Sami.

Roman had become a tyrant, corrupted by power. The greed to have more has changed him into an actual monster and he forced his own family to join his reign of terror — forcing them to “acknowledge” him as the Tribal Chief.

Well, you were officially done “acknowledging him”.

You were done acknowledging all of them including your boyfriends, the Undisputed WWE tag team champions, the Usos.

Ever since they joined the Bloodline, they’ve been treating you differently. Treating you as if you’re a ghost, a shadow — neglecting you, pushing you to the sidelines so they can tend to the Tribal Chief’s every command. If this was a short-term thing, it wouldn’t bug you but it’s been happening since 2021 and you were done.

Sami was the only one who truly felt like family in that group and supported you no matter what. He was the only one who remembered your birthday and brought you a gift when no one else did (from the Bloodline, that is).

You were done with everything regarding the Bloodline. It was time to get some well-deserved payback on them for yourself and everyone whose been a victim of their reign of terror.

Following Royal Rumble, you distanced yourself from the Bloodline. You treated them like they treated you— like a ghost. You were still a part of the Bloodline but fans suspected that you’d leave soon knowing your close friendship with Sami.

You had a plan. A plan to make Wrestlemania greater than ever and you were working discreetly with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to pull it off.

At Wrestlemania, Sami and Kevin will battle the Usos for the tag titles while Cody will fight Roman for the undisputed WWE universal championship.

On the day of Wrestlemania, you put the plan you have been working on ever since Royal Rumble with Sami and Kevin into action. You have been absent ever since Elimination Chamber nursing an injury from the Elimination Chamber match you competed in.

Slipping in undetected, you quickly made your way to Sami and Kevin’s shared trailer. You greeted them and got ready, concealing yourself with black clothing. You hid every detail of yourself making yourself look like the outcast the Bloodline made you feel.

Sami and Kevin were called for their match. You wished them luck, giving them a warm hug, “Go kick my boyfriends’ butts.” you muttered making them chuckle, “Don’t worry, we will. Especially with you on our side.” Kevin responded.

During the match, you got into position and waited. Before the Usos could hit their finisher, you came running out and slid into the ring. Catching them with a punch, you mustered up all your strength and suplexed Jey from the top turnbuckle.

Turning your attention to Jimmy, he attempted an Uso splash but you caught him with a superkick. The fans went insane, cheering loudly as you assaulted them. The referee was down, accidentally hit with a superkick meant for Sami.

So, this was all perfectly legal as long as the referee didn’t see anything.

Pulling Jimmy up, you hoisted him onto your shoulders and did the Samoan drop, planting him on top of Jey. Noticing the opportunity, you climbed up to the top turnbuckle and executed an imploding 450° splash on both of them.

Positioning them so Sami and Kevin were laying on top of a Uso, you dragged the referee back into the ring. He slowly did the count, the fans counting along, “1! 2! 3!” The bell rings as the fans erupt into cheers while the referee rolled out of the ring.

“And the NEW WWE undisputed tag-team champions, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens!”

Sami and Kevin rolled off the Usos, not understanding what just happened. You took the titles and handed it to them — that’s when it hit them. It worked, the plan worked. They stared at it with teary eyes and hugged each other before hugging you.

Standing over the Usos, you pull off the mask revealing yourself and the cheering just got 10x louder. It almost knocked you off your feet, “Oh my gosh, it’s Y/N — the Usos’ girlfriend! She just cost her boyfriends the titles!” commentary was going crazy.

The Usos were slowly regaining consciousness and you crouched down to meet their eyes, needless to say they were surprised. You grinned at their shocked expressions, “Why are you so surprise? You should’ve seen this coming — it’s only been months in the making.”

Walking off, you all stood at the top of the ramp and raised your hands up proudly to the cheers of fans, the Usos just stared at you in total disbelief which made you smirk.

You all then headed backstage to prepare for phase 2.

Yes, that was phase one of the plan.

Phase two was Roman’s match against Cody for the undisputed WWE universal championship. That was going to be the cherry on top.

Before Roman could spear an oblivious Cody, you all ran into the ring and unleashed hell. Raining punches and kicks on him, you were all getting the long-awaited payback on him.

Roman fell limp and you all offered him to Cody, the same way Sami offered Kevin to Roman during their Wargames match at Survivor Series 2022. Everything was coming back to haunt him cause what goes around comes right back around.

Cody hits his finisher and pinned Roman for the win.

The fans once again erupted, overjoyed that Cody had finally achieved his American Dream and became a world champion. You were also happy for him, this was long overdue. He quickly left the ring so you guys could continue the assault on Roman.

He was now your personal punching bag and no one could stop you guys.

Hauling his limp body out of the ring, you all share a knowing look. Kevin sent him into the steel stairs, Sami drove him into the ring post and you pushed him into the barricade. Roman collapsed on the floor, recoiling in pain.

While Kevin and Sami dragged Roman back inside the ring, handcuffing him to the ropes, you got steel chairs from underneath the ring. Handing the boys a chair each, you surrounded Roman like dogs surrounding their prey.

Paul Heyman had been dealt with and was unconscious. Staring at each other, you look at Roman and grin at his state – he looks like Kevin and Sami when they were in his position. Without hesitating, you three unload on Roman and no-one hold back giving him exactly what he deserves. The cheering fans motivated you, increasing the strength and impact of your hits.

After a while, you toss your chair aside and crouch down to meet his bloody face. He was barely conscious and gripped his chin, forcing him to look at you. You couldn’t help but smirk, it was a truly satisfying sight to see him like this.

You uttered the words you’ve been wanting to say for the longest time, “I’m done acknowledging you and the Bloodline. I’m done with everything regarding the Bloodline including the people who form it. I don’t need you to be the best, you’ve only been holding me back and now I’m free. So, you can take this ‘Head of the Table’ shit and go shove it cause I’m done acknowledging you.”

Standing tall over Roman’s unconscious body, you revel in the fans cheering. The Underdogs have dethroned the champs and come out on top despite the constant ridicule you guys endured from them. You guys headed backstage and celebrate your well-earned victory, taking one last glance at Roman who was being helped out of the ring by officials and rushed to the hospital.

On the RAW after Wrestlemania, you held a celebration for Sami and Kevin becoming the new tag team champions.

During the celebration, you confessed all your sins. “I had been working on that plan ever since Royal Rumble. I got sick and tired of being treated like a ghost. The final straw was them attacking the people who have felt my family since I lost mine to the pursuit of power.”

You released all your bottled-up emotions and thoughts. “It felt wonderful unleashing that beating Roman and apparently everyone else thought so because it trended worldwide on social media. I guess people have gotten sick of the Bloodline as well?” You were met with cheers making you grin.

Sami and Kevin conveyed similar words. You all cheers to a successful plan and new beginnings, not forgetting to leave a message for the Bloodline who were in the hospital.

“I don’t regret a single thing. I should have done it ages ago. To my boyfriends who have been neglecting me ever since joining the Bloodline, I’m not a ghost or a shadow you can cast aside. You have messed with the wrong girl, all of you have! What happened at Wrestlemania is a taste of what I can do. Besides didn’t anyone tell you that the underdogs always come out on top in the end?”

You, Sami and Kevin focused on your respective storylines but you had formed an alliance with each other. You guys always had each other’s back no matter what.

During the Bloodline’s hiatus, you had become the Smackdown Women’s champion dethroning Charlotte Flair in a high stakes match at Summerslam, achieving one of your biggest dreams. You proudly held up the title, tears running down your cheeks as reality had set in.

But you did wish that the Usos were here to witness it and celebrate with you. Sami and Kevin had run out to celebrate with you, filling that void. “Congrats Y/N, you deserve this.” They said, hugging you tightly. You smile and return the affection, “Thank you truly.”

Sami and Kevin successfully defended their tag-team titles. You returned the favour, running out to celebrate their victory with them. All of you were now champions and stood proudly together in the ring, holding up your titles as the fans cheered, the biggest babyfaces in WWE were all champions.

Guess it’s true, you really didn’t need them after all.

Looking at Sami and Kevin, you couldn’t help but smile fondly. They had become your second family after you lost your one. The sweet moment was ruined by the sound of oh-so familiar music blaring. Ignoring the sinking feeling in your stomach, you guys turn around to see the Bloodline and their eyes were locked on you three.

Marching to the ring, they never broke eye contact and fans enjoyed the tension. You smirked at the scars left on their bodies reminding them of their downfall as the ‘top fraction in WWE’. “Hey Roman,” Sami began, you and Kevin smirked at each other knowing exactly what’s coming.

“Acknowledge us.” You three held up your titles, taunting the now title-less Bloodline. They growl and a brawl ensued. It was Roman vs Sami, Solo vs Kevin and you vs the Usos. The fans cheered as it spilled out into the crowd.

You dodge a punch from Jey and connect with a knee to the abdomen. Jimmy tried to sneak attack but you avoid that and hit him with a Poison Rana. Noticing an opportunity, you lay the Usos on the announcer’s table and climb onto the nearest top turnbuckle. Running across the top rope, you jump and execute an Uso splash on them, sending the Usos through the announcer’s table.

Rolling off them, you lay beside them and catch your breath. Wow, that was exhilarating. It ended once again with you three standing tall amongst the chaos and you guys headed backstage – needless to say that was one of the most successful Summerslams in WWE history.

Unfortunately, it didn’t end there for you. They were determined to get their revenge however that looked a bit different for you compared to Sami and Kevin. Sami and Kevin were competing in a tag team match and you decided to accompany them, watching from ringside, when the Bloodline appeared out of nowhere and attacked.

Well, Roman and Solo were assaulting Sami and Kevin. The Usos had you cornered but they weren’t attacking you. Jimmy had handcuffed your wrists while Jey gagged you, tying a bandana around your mouth. Weaving a hand through your H/C locks, Jey harshly tugs it forcing you to make eye contact with him – his wicked grin tells you something horrible is about to happen.

“I think someone has forgotten whose in charge uce. I think she needs a reminder of what happens when you disobey your master.” Jey taunts, his grip on your hair getting tighter. Jimmy hums, staring at your helpless figure, “I think you’re right uce, I think someone has forgotten whose in charge here. I guess she needs to be reminded.” He responded.

Leaning into your ear, Jey whispers, “You’ve been a brat lately and brats like you get punished. You need to remember whose in charge here.” Unable to make a snarky response, the Usos drag you out of the arena and shove you inside the car, they had gotten your belongings before.

Heading back to the hotel, you endured the harshest punishment ever. You were grateful no one was here to hear your screams. Laying lifeless on the bed, the Usos stare at your state and smirk, “Who’s the boss here?” Jimmy asks rhetorically.

Lifting your head up, you tiredly grin, “Me. I’m the boss of myself and of the Smackdown Women’s division.” Clearly that wasn’t the answer because Jimmy tugs your chin, forcing eye contact, “You clearly haven’t learnt your lesson yet.” He growls.

You endure three more punishments of an equal calibre. Your body was covered in red marks, bruises and cuts – it left you breathless. But every time they asked the question, you gave them the same response, “I’ll never stop being a brat. You don’t own me and besides… it’s fun to get you guys riled you.” You declare, grinning teasingly at them.

Your cockiness costed you severely but you didn’t care, it was fun to rile them up especially on live TV in front of millions of people.

diving into the yandere tendencies, there are also times where he doesn’t have a problem being very direct with what he wants, especially if it’s in front of his brothers. like in the 2021 happy devil day event he literally told mammon he was delusional for thinking MC belonged to him, then proceeded to say that MC belongs to him instead (ᵕᴗ ᵕ⁎)

on the topic of him taking action when someone hits on MC…he doesn’t have a problem with telling Simeon not to touch them. there have been multiple times IN THE GAME where he glares at Simeon, for example that one time they all were studying then MC fell asleep, so Simeon stared rubbing their head and Satan told him not to get all touchy with MC

You sit in a cold metal chair in front of an equally cold metal table and glance around, taking in the cream-colored wall and shitty grey, stain-smeared carpet. This is your fifth visit to an interrogation room since you had fled Seoul, and you would like it to be your last, especially considering the first several times were more or less a waste of time.

"We got our hands on a tape that we would like for you to watch," the detective states plainly as the sounds of heels clomping down the hallway are muffled by the stain-smeared carpet, as a woman approaches and sets a laptop in front of you.

Watching black and white surveillance footage on a laptop brings back memories in a flash, and you anxiously grip your knees, digging your nails into denim. Try as you might to convince yourself that this video will not be like the others, you know it will be because you recognize the scene before you and know exactly how this will play out. Your heart pounds heavily in your chest.

The detective says your name gently, and you nod to signify that you are ready, despite not being ready at all. Then he reaches forward and taps the space bar, playing the video before you.

Immediately, you are surprised by the music that plays through the speakers—sultry and downtempo. You did not expect this recording to have sound. The angle is above the bed, looking straight down, from where you assume Taehyung had hidden the camera in the light fixture. You are in frame, standing at the foot of the bed, shoving Taehyung’s cell phone under the mattress while Yoongi—in silk pajamas—straddles Taehyung, who only wears black briefs.

You watch yourself react to Namjoon's presence, straightening out nervously both on camera, and in your chair. He is not visible at first, but you can hear him ask, "Not joining in on the fun, noona?"

Yoongi turns to look back at you while Taehyung says, "Come here, kitten."

"I'm good," you hear yourself respond hazily. "I'm j—I'm just overwhelmed."

Namjoon comes into frame and leans on the end of the bed. "Why don't you come keep me some company downstairs, noona," he suggests.

You take a deep breath, remembering the look in his eyes and the apprehension you felt going with him. You still can not believe this is just before Yoongi slit his—

"Go with Joonie," you hear Taehyung suggest.

You appear to look between Taehyung and Namjoon, but before you can respond, Namjoon scoops you over his shoulder and turns to leave the room. You are heard yelping as you are carried out of frame, and Yoongi leans forward, hanging his head low.

A shiver runs through you, and the detective pauses the video. You look up to find him leaning against the table beside you with his arms folded over his ugly rust-colored button-up. In one hand, he holds a manila folder.

"Does this scene look familiar to you?" he asks.

"Yeah," you respond, though it is more of a grunt than a word.

"That man who carried you away is the Kim Namjoon fellow whose throat was slit," he says matter-of-factly.

"Correct."

"Says here in your file that this man here," the officer points to the screen, "a mister Kim Taehyung was responsible for drugging you and keeping you hostage with this man right here, a mister Min Yoongi."

"Correct."

"And that this Min Yoongi then stabbed Kim Taehyung and slit Kim Namjoon's throat out of self-defense, before the two of you fled the scene."

At this, you choose not to respond, swallowing a thick lump of bile and anxiety as the detective stares you down. After a pause, he continues.

"Do you know where Kim Taehyung and Min Yoongi are now?"

You had done your best to hold it together until this point, but now that the question settles in your mind, you feel a surge of emotion. Despite how many months have passed since Yoongi disappeared and Taehyung promised to find you again, you are unable to shake the deep, intense feelings you had for Yoongi. Nor the overwhelming fear that a terrible fate has befallen him.

Tears threaten to spill, and you bite back the overwhelming urge to vomit. Your voice is barely over a whisper when you mutter, "No."

"I'm going to need you to see this," the detective says as he reaches for the space button and resumes the video.

The audio is distorted as if someone has lowered the music and turned up the volume of their voices. The sound of Taehyung asking, "Are you ready?" sends an icy shiver down your spine.

Yoongi shakes his head and mutters something you are unable to hear, then Taehyung responds, "You can do this, baby. Don't be scared."

The urge to vomit rises, but you swallow it back and ball your fists above your knees. Taehyung calling Yoongi an affectionate name is not exactly surprising, especially considering you were all on drugs at the time, but that does not stop your palms from beginning to sweat.

Yoongi shakes his head and rests both hands on Taehyung's bare chest. "I ca—"

"Yoongi," Taehyung says softly as he reaches his hands to cup Yoongi's face, "I know you can do this. I trust you with my life."

"But what if something goes wrong? What about Namjoon?"

"What about Namjoon?" Taehyung parrots softly as he shakes his head, smiling sweetly. "Namjoon is disposable. And I swapped the magazine; that gun is shooting blanks." Yoongi seems unconvinced, letting his head droop.

"Yoongi, trust me," Taehyung purrs, pulling him gently by the head until their lips connect. Yoongi relaxes in Taehyung's hold and lets his hands slide from Taehyung's chest to his neck as they deepen the kiss and groan so sweetly, you almost miss it.

Your ears begin to ring, and you reach forward and slam the tips of your fingers into the space key, then turn in your chair and look away, down at the carpet. The detective says something, but all you can make out are jumbled intonations that only vaguely resemble words, and you pinch yourself on the arm, hoping against hope to wake up from this nightmare.

"Miss—"

"This isn't real," you mutter, feeling shards of your sanity fall away as you attempt to piece together what you just saw. "This can't be real; he wouldn't—he didn't do that."

"The video isn't over, miss."

Every nerve is jittery, thrust into overdrive—hands trembling, head shaking, eyelashes fluttering. On top of being put back into that room, on that day, witnessing that exchange is too much. This cannot be happening.

"I can't—" you mutter, staring at the splotches of dried who-knows-what kinds of fluids on the floor. "I'm sorry, I can't—"

"Miss," the detective snaps, standing up straight. "It is of the utmost importance that you watch this video and tell us more about these men."

Your hands fly to your ears, nails scratching at your hairline. Try as you might to slow your breathing, your heartbeat is dizzying, and you squeeze your eyes shut. You picture Yoongi straddling Taehyung—who holds him so gently—and both of your voices mingle in your head as you stammer, "I c—I can't. I can't do this."

The woman who supplied the laptop squats before you, resting her hands on her knees. You attempt to focus on her manicured red nails and the tan fabric below them in an effort to ground yourself as tears spill from your eyes.

"Would you like to talk about how you're feeling?" she asks. It is an innocuous enough question, perhaps, but it makes your blood boil.

"No," you bite back, refusing to meet her eyes.

She says your name softly. "We're just trying to make the stories line up because presently, there's a hole in yours that this video fills. They also seem to diverge after this point."

"Diverge?" you ask weakly, wiping the backs of your hands against your wet cheeks and lifting your gaze in an attempt to look the woman in the eye. You stare at her pearl earring instead.

The woman hums. "There's only about three minutes left in the video. Are you sure you can't watch it?"

You shake your head. Three minutes is not that long, but they are three minutes of confusion and anguish, and regardless of intent, you do not want to watch Yoongi drive the knife through Taehyung's body—if that is what really happened that day.

"The sooner we get through this video, we can get your statement one last time and have you out of here and on your way," the woman says, voice insistent. They want to get you out of here; this much is clear. And that is perfectly fine; you do not want to be here, either.

You nod, clear your throat, and turn back toward the laptop. With a shaky hand, you hit the spacebar and bring your balled fist, which grasps onto the sleeve of your hoodie, to your mouth. Your breath comes out ragged as you press your knuckle against your lips.

On screen, the video speeds up. How kind of the cops to spare you from watching your ex-captor—who you once had feelings for—and the man you have residual feelings for making out in real-time, you think as you roll your eyes.

When the video slows, Taehyung can be seen reaching for the table beside his bed and pulling open the small drawer on the front. Black rectangles that you assume are your cellphones sit next to the familiar hunting knife, and your breath hitches as Taehyung's hand wraps around the handle.

Yoongi does not so much as flinch as the knife is brought before him. The realization hangs over you like a storm cloud: Yoongi is afraid, but not for his own safety after everything Taehyung put him through. Yoongi is only afraid to seriously hurt Taehyung.

When Yoongi does not accept the knife, Taehyung takes his hand, places the knife into it for him, then closes his hands around Yoongi's fingers and the handle. Then, Taehyung angles the tip of the blade and presses it into his skin, just enough to dimple it and says, "Right here. You don't need to push hard, just deep enough to make it appear as if I've been stabbed."

There is an utterance that cannot be heard, and Yoongi shakes in Taehyung's grasp. You think you hear him whisper, "Please."

"I'll see the family physician as soon as you leave. He's very discreet, Yoongi; he won't ask questions. And then I'll contact you tonight. You'll see that I'm alright and that you performed beautifully. Please, baby; we're running out of time."

You squeeze your eyes shut as Yoongi's arm presses forward, but you can hear the hissing and grunting sounds signifying the blade breaking Taehyung's skin. Nausea creeps through you, oozing from every pore, and you hug an arm around yourself and press your fist against your mouth, fighting back the urge to cry once more.

Then you hear it. It is soft and rough and barely above a whisper. "You did great, my love."

A sob falls between your lips as hot tears glide down your cheeks. How could this have happened? How could any of this have been real?

You open your eyes to find Yoongi standing beside Taehyung, who stands up straight, though visibly pained, and motions to his new wound as if it is a work of art that Yoongi has just created. Taehyung pulls Yoongi into a chaste kiss, and then Yoongi scrambles to grab your cell phones and the bloody hunting knife. As he begins to exit the room, Taehyung walks to the end of the bed and then drops dramatically to his knees and very slowly begins to crawl toward the door.

The detective hits pause and closes the laptop. Your breath is hot on your hand, creating a sticky layer of condensation and sweat beneath the fabric, and you drop your hands to your knees. Although tears continue to fall, you feel numb, save for the occasional breath that rattles through your lungs.

How much has been a lie? When did the lies begin?

"According to your file, Kim Taehyung held you and Min Yoongi both against your will," the detective states once more. "But as we can see from this video, that is clearly not the case."

You hum and nod your head in shallow, non-committal movements.

"We also have text records that show they were in communication months earlier," the detective continues, plopping a stack of papers onto the shut laptop. They are typed up, black ink on white paper with nothing but names, time stamps and messages, and you only give it a cursory glance and look away.

"The department is issuing a warrant for both of their arrests for the murder of Kim Namjoon. When was the last time you saw or heard from either of these men?"

"July," you mutter. "I last saw Yoongi and heard from Taehyung in July."

"And you last saw Kim Taehyung when?"

You shrug, uncertain of the date. "March, I think." With a nod of your chin toward the laptop, you say, "Whenever that video was."

It does not take long to rehash the events leading up to the last text message you ever got from Taehyung. You had crumpled the photo up, packed a bag and left the apartment, then waited at a nearby convenience store for Hoseok to finally call you back. There is a report with the police station that details the last message you received from Taehyung, which the detective finds after digging through the file, but it does not seem like they were able to find Taehyung, despite him contacting you from the same number he had before.

"Cell phone towers are unreliable," the detective says with a shrug, at which you shrug in return. You know this because you have heard it several times before, from officers of this very police station who have worked on this very case.

"Why did Hoseok leave your apartment the night that you found that photograph?" The detective asks.

You shake your head, recapping the conversation and how none of it seemed to make sense at the time. According to Hoseok, Yoongi appeared out of the blue, frantic about some message he had gotten from Jimin, telling Hoseok that they needed to rush back home and that he would bring Jimin's vehicle to pick you up later—that it was too much of an emergency to wait for you to gather your things and that he had already messaged you to let you know. And after they returned to the house, Yoongi left again. And that was it; Hoseok said he never came back.

"But didn't Jimin drive Yoongi home from the bar that night?" the detective asks.

You nod, then cock your head to the side, realizing you have no idea. You had not watched Jimin or Yoongi leave that night; you simply left with Hoseok and promised to join them again after packing an overnight bag.

By the time the detective runs out of questions to ask, you leave the room in a daze, shuffling down the brightly lit hallway, squinting from the fluorescents, before turning a corner and making your way through the station. You pull your hood over your head and snuggle into your sweater, and when you reach the waiting area, Hoseok stands from his seat with an expectant look.

The detective gives you some generic spiel about contacting him should you remember anything else, and then you leave, shoving his business card into your pants pocket and leaning into Hoseok, who hugs you close.

"Let's get you home," he says sweetly, kissing the hoodie atop your head and guiding you to his car.

For the two and a half hour drive home, Hoseok banters lightly and sings to the radio, but he never asks you what happened in the interrogation room. He knows you will talk about it when you are ready; he is always kind like that.

"I'll see you tonight," Hoseok says as he leans over the back of the couch and plants a kiss on the top of your head. You bend and angle your lips toward his for a proper kiss, chaste as it may be, and smile against him.

As soon as the door clicks behind him, you hug your left leg to your chest and continue searching for something to watch on one of the many streaming services, mindlessly scrolling through list after disappointing list.

It is not long before you choose the comfort show that you have played through so many times you hardly watch anymore, and start from the first episode, nuzzling yourself into the corner of the couch. You have assignments you could be working on but decide you would rather spend your precious free time dissociating, at least for a little while.

Beside you, your cell phone buzzes.

You smile to yourself and nibble on your bottom lip, anticipating having to leave your faux leather throne to find whatever Hoseok must have left behind, as he is wont to do, but when you pick up your phone and see that there is a message from an unknown number, your heart sinks.

The urge to drop everything, pack a bag and flee the country hits you like a pile of bricks, and you squeeze your eyes closed and breathe deeply, in through your nose and out through your mouth.

"It's okay," you mutter to yourself, stretching open your hands which have reflexively balled into fists. "It's just a solicitation. It's fine. I'm safe. Don't panic. He doesn't know where I live. He doesn't have my phone number. Relax."

Calls and texts from unknown numbers come all the time. It has been four months since you last heard from Taehyung, and you have since changed your number. The chance of it being him is so slim, you feel stupid for letting yourself get so worked up.

After a moment of talking yourself out of spiraling, you scoff and let out a deep, shaky exhale, then stand and shake your limbs out and allow yourself to feel silly for panicking.

Then you bend, reach for your phone and unlock the screen. The message that greets you sends you to your knees so fast, you find yourself retching on your soft, yellow rug before your brain has a chance to catch up with your body, and just like that, your world is, once again, flipped.

Hello! I have been... Not good unfortunately. 2022 decided to end with a bang of me getting the flu/a lung infection so bad I was coughing up blood! :D

But good omegaverse recs, huh? Oof. That's... Gonna be a little tricky. A lot of the blogs I liked the best were created in 2020 peak pandemic and then subsequently abandoned/ deleted/ shadow banned somewhere mid 2021. I've kinda become a pretty big "write the content you want to see" type creator. Also, I read so much smut like so much, seriously, I am filth. But I'll see what I can dig up.... Not all of these are ABO, but the rec list is going to be a lot shorter if I keep it restricted.

Hmm...I'm not sure I know absolutely everything about students and lore...well, maybe I know enough

And all this because since 2016 I have been steadily passionate about yansim and watched all the changes in the game

So, in general, I do not advise absorbing all the information about the lore and characters that are in your way. It is better to start reading about those who are most interesting to you and move on to related things or characters. Before, when there was less information and characters, it was easier, because you learned it all gradually, and every big update your attention was focused on a certain circle of characters

Maybe I can remember the general eventfulness of game updates from the very beginning of development, so you also can easily learn yansim lore gradually

So,

2014: The game just started coming out, so there wasn't any lore or interesting characters, exept Info-chan. Only the concept of yandere simulation as such flourished

2015: The first iconic characters appeared - Midori, Pippi Osu, Phantom-chan, rainbow six. Hints about the lore of Kokona began to appear

2016: Rival introduction, the appearance of other iconic characters - Oka, Budo, Mai Waifu, Basu sisters, Kuu Dere, Ryuto, Musume. 2018: The appearance of bullies, delinquents and their lore, more clubs, and their leaders are actual characters instead of gray girls (who later turn out to be the Empty Demon)

Note: My interest in that year had cooled off a little compared to last year. I wasn't interested in a bunch of new characters at first, and perceived them as I now perceive NPCs from the 1980s mode. I became attached to some of them only through fan art. (Not sure that the same will happen with the 1980s mode NPCs, because they are all about the same and do not have any interesting information about themselves)

2019: The appearance of Hazu, Otohiko, Toga and Kyuji. Buraza town, work in a maid cafe. The appearance of Raibaru (not yet in the game, but only in the video)

2020: Demo release, SNAP mode

2021: 1980s mode. Saisho's letter to Ryoba. "Tragic ending". Rejected 12th rival (fan name Maria Inoue)

This is an approximate chronology of significant additions to the game. So, I think you can gradually learn the important events of each year. It would also be quite useful to familiarize yourself with the Dev's videos from the very beginning of development. I remember how in 2017 I organized such a marathon for myself, and thanks to this I learned a lot about the game and it's lore. It will also be quite interesting to study Dev's very first posts on the development blog...although it mostly plays a nostalgic role rather than giving any new lore knowledge

The main thing is not to force yourself to learn if something is not interesting. This is information that has accumulated over 8 years, so everything should be learned gradually, as if you are watching an ongoing series

Darling Duality. Starus: Demo. It's a super cute sim initially created for the secret santa jam + winter jam. You wake up to find a character from a game you were playinf came to life. It's a stand alone episode with one character (castor or castoria) that also acts as an intro to a much larger project in the works. Player is GN.

Invite me in: Status: Demo. Another good fairly new yan sim in it's early stages. You come across an injured Devyn late one night otw home. Player is GN.

Spooky pixel games. (On steam)

The Crooked Man. Status: Complete. You play as David. You just moved into a new apartment during a difficult time in your life and strange events lead you on a journey to find answers about the previous tenant.

The Sandman. Status: Complete. You play as Sophie a girl suffering with insomnia. One night you discover everyone in town is under a mysterious sleep.

The Boogie Man. Status: Complete. You play as Keith a detective sent on a mandatory vacation with his wife. During the castle tour the boogieman appears and murders follow.

The Hanged Man. Status: Complete. You play as William a young boy taking shelter from a snowstorm in an abandoned building. After your mouse, pop, dissappears you must explore the building to find him.

(All 4 games are part of the strange man series with crooked man being the first and hanged man being the last.)

Corpse party 2021. Status: Comete. Unlike the previous steam version this one comes complete with all the cgs and graphics. You play as multiple characters trapped in a mysterious school where you need to try and escape before you die or go insane.

Angels of death. Status: Complete. You play as Rachel & Zack two people who need to work together to escape a building with a different killer on each floor. They both have different reasons but are working together because of a promise.

I have so many games i play, these were just the first ones i thought to recommend. Though it's likely you've already played some of these 😅.

57. How conscious are you about including symbolism or foreshadowing in your fics?

-> Eh, I add a bit sometimes? But it's nothing really mind-blowing or requiring lots of deep thinking. It's usually like an item or line that can be linked from the beginning or middle of a story, to an event towards the end. Usually while I'm writing something, I get an idea and pause, then add that idea that's usually a minor thing I have to go back and edit in which ends up being the tiniest bit of symbolism or foreshadowing. Like I said, it's never anything major or complicated, just simple stuff that's very easy to brush over and miss.

74. Do you have a fic you wish got a bit more love?

-> Of my stories? Yes. It's called Sent By The Sun, and it's on my Quotev. It was supposed to be a short yandere series about the mc (reader or y/n) waking up in a strange new world. A mysterious entity chooses them as their pawn, and in this environment you're tossed into, you must take the role of sorcerer's apprentice while avoiding a killer. You have no idea who the killer is, where they are, or what they're like, but it's their mission to kill you. And if they succeed, you will never get home. So the mc has to blend in and learn their new responsibilities, while also learning more about this world and trying to decide who is an ally and who is an enemy. For this story I wanted to mc to be sorta morally gray, or at least they don't always do the right thing and they know that but still go ahead anyways. I spent time on this story and really enjoyed writing the first parts, because I based the world off a setting and culture familiar to me. I wanted to share a bit of what I know, and make interesting poc characters (unlike the majority of the stories I see that have a majority white or pale cast). Unfortunately I've sort of lost motivation for it at the moment, so it sits unfinished. It hasn't gotten nearly as much attention as some of my other series, specials, or one shots. But I think one day I'll finish it.

75. Is there a particular fic that readers gravitated towards that you didn’t expect?

-> Uh, all of my twst stuff? Lol. There's two, actually, and they happen to be the specials I'm kinda most known for (on Quotev at least).

-> The first that I made was Buttons (published in 2020), which is basically just a story like Coraline but the Other Mother is instead the Other Husband, and the mc is an adult woman with a neglectful husband. Oooh, boy, some of the readers for that story wanted nsfw scenes and I just was shocked. I didn't write any scenes like that though, but for some reason people still enjoyed the story despite the plot being relatively the same to the movie. Anyways, in one day I put out like twenty pages for this story, and I haven't written that efficiently since.

-> The Devil (published in 2021). I mentioned it before but this series accidentally ended up being somewhat of the problem child of my stories. I think I actually had the idea for this story sometime around when I came up with the idea for Buttons, and it was in the drafts for nearly a year before I began to seriously write for it. I actually wrote it pretty quickly too, almost as quickly as Buttons, but not quite. The problem with this one was that the readers were romanticizing the yandere way too much. Like, honestly, it was brining down my mood every time I excitedly opened a comment only to see it was a reader gushing about the yandere. Not that it's a bad thing if it's a joke or just for fun, but some of those comments felt too... real. I had to put out a whole statement before they finally stopped.

Grim... It's crazy how he can sniff out blot immediate honestly. By the end of this chapter, Idek if Grim will be the same after this. Any sign of someone OBing sets him off into feral mode. Yuu is going to be so heartbroken when they find him.

Also, Idk if he broke out already, but if he hasn't, someone is going to get hurt when he does.

It'll be pretty funny if they found him gnawing on OB Idia's heels tho lmao

Speculations on Claude's difference in character in 3 Hopes vs 3 Houses

Writing this because I'm so tired of seeing so many angry comments and tweets and posts about his supposed character assassination (among other things) and because I have faith in my guy. As of writing this, I've only just finished Part 1 of Golden Wildfire and only know some tidbits from spoilers (which I willingly exposed myself to)

The main gripe people seem to have about Claude's character is to do with how forceful and unwilling to hear people out and inquire about situations and people's motives. Personally, I don't see it as character assassination but rather a different way he could have developed if he hadn't gone through White Clouds in 3 Houses or met Byleth, or hadn't had to kill his half-brother, Shahid.

What I think was the turning point for Claude's forceful and aggressive actions, was very likely the event that he killed his own brother. We see traces of 3 Houses Claude, him trying to reason with Shahid and wanting to talk things out but alas, Shahid doesn't care and Claude ultimately makes the decision to kill him. Post-battle, we see Claude is very clearly affected by that event.

6 months later, Claude reforms the Alliance into the Leicester Federation and is placed as its king.

Perhaps it's all the stress built up from the war. The Alliance has been going through battle after battle and it's taking a toll on him. It doesn't help that because he wasn't in the Academy for a year to get to know his classmates and learn to trust others, he feels like as the Alliance Leader (as of Part 1), he has to shoulder all the decisions and be responsible for everything that happens. The Roundtable Conferences don't help with his frustrations either.

Through supports and the story itself, Claude has shown signs of disdain for the Alliance's system, but he hasn't really seen the need to change it, although it is inefficient. Then Shez comes along and goes, "Hey, why don't you make yourself the sole leader so decisions will go by faster during wartime?" and it opens up a possibility he hadn't even thought about. If he becomes the sole leader and doesn't need to go through the endless circling of decisions waiting for all 5 lords to come to a unanimous decision, things will be done faster and he can do what he wants to do quicker.

Back to Shahid's death and his impact on Claude's mental state - it definitely changed him. Perhaps after making the choice to kill his own blood, he made the decision to no longer hold back. He can't be too "soft" or hesitant anymore. He needs to be more resolved in his decisions and perhaps that is why we see the Claude we see in 3 Hopes. The aggressive, cutthroat Claude who doesn't consider choosing to hear people out. This can be seen in his decision to send troops to the 3 lords' territories to create public order instead of Lorenz's suggestion to send an envoy first. Claude even says that they'll "probably make half-baked excuses anyway" and that there's no point talking things out. This is pretty much where I've left off from the game, but it's clear that Shahid's refusal to reason with him still affects him.

I do think that perhaps the writers could have shown that a bit more, but Claude is way more reserved in his emotions and willingness to express himself and it may have been difficult to show that internal turmoil. Either way, I still think calling Claude's change of character, "character assassination" is going too far especially if you don't consider the prior events and the what-if's and differences in situation and events that occur between both games.

I have a big weakness for self-aware, yandere characters so your headcanons are a miracle to me. Could you do something with Deuce where the player always compliments him whenever they get a card or see him? He is my best boy and I love him so darn much that I always louldy anounce it when I see him :,) Thank you!

Admittedly, it is confusing lmao But, here's the semi-short explanation:

Love Sick Sally (the tag) refers to the general yandere version of Sal Fisher that I write about in x reader fics. He's just the Sal Fisher we all know and love with his creepy, romantic, stalkery tendencies on max, and this concept can be applied to whatever other specifics/AUs you'd like to throw in the mix (Sal as a yandere boyfriend, bff, coworker, neighbor, etc. etc. etc.)! Everyone is free to selfship with him, and I really hope you enjoy the imagines and art I've created about him! 💌💘💦

L.S.S. (which stands for Love Sick Sally) refers to a VERY specific, individual version of Sal that I write about within my (extremely meta) #Meet the Fishers selfship AU, and I RP as him during my goretober events (they're all just one big, continuous selfship fic). He adopted the acronym to refer to himself, like how I call myself Kewk instead of killemwithkawaii! [Spoilers for the Meet the Fishers AU: His entire deal is that he's Sal post-chapter 5, has been universe hopping for like 5,000 years, has fallen in love with multiple versions of me along the way, and then somehow ended up in this universe and stumbled upon my blog. Shenanigans ensued.] I'm not comfortable with people selfshipping with this specific AU Sal (bc its a soulmate AU and he's custom tailored to me), but some people have adopted L.S.S. as a platonic f/o, which I think is the sweetest thing 🥺💖 (I really need to make a guide for #Meet the Fishers, but if you're curious, for now I suggest going to my archive and reading posts from Oct-Nov 2020, Oct 2021 and Oct 2022 in order by date. The warm snuggly blanket covered your body, as you felt the soft bed beneath you the time you slowly woke up. The bed felt comfy, but it didn’t feel like home. It didn’t feel like you’re in your own room. You tried to open your heavy eyelids, with dizziness lingering inside your head. This felt similar, like the time you woke up from an anesthetic from a surgery you had. The fragrant smell of sandalwood and a hint of musk starts to intoxicate each time you inhale for oxygen.

It took you at least an hour to be fully awake, now sitting on the bed slowly to see your surroundings. The room wasn’t luxurious, but it fit perfectly to fill 2 people. In a glance, the room you occupied didn’t seem suspicious. Yet this doesn’t mean you’re exactly safe. You remembered that you were sleeping in your very own bedroom. And now, you have awakened in a stranger’s room. You pinched your arm, thinking it was a dream. But the pain was real, and so was your situation. Your breaths started to get heavy and fast. None of your limbs were tied, but the fortune faded once you jumped from the bed and tried to open the door. Of course, it was locked. There’s no window in the room, the temperature was rather warm. Yet, you sweated like you were in the middle of a hot summer day. You checked your phone, which luckily the kidnapper didn’t snatch it from you. The clock showed it’s 3 am, time where most people have ventured in their dream. But you decided to ignore the time, as it was such an emergency situation. As you’re about to send your friends an SOS, you realized the signal bar was empty.

You exhale a deep breath, and close your eyes. Who could’ve done this to you? And for what reason ? As the battle of Cairo wasn’t enough to exhaust you mentally and physically. The event was 2 months ago yet the battle scars still haunted you. Last time you saw your opponent, Harrow, he was sent to an asylum by Marc after his defeat. You never heard about him until now, nor bother to send him a letter. After all, what for? You weren’t his friend, so there’s no such need. Khonshu has bid his bitter farewell to Marc as well, and as much of a problem he was, there’s no way he would take you away and put you in his secret place.

After a few minutes, the message on your phone stayed the same, so you decided to search the entire room for a weapon. But your eye was drawn to a glass inside a table drawer, so you took it up and placed it next to your bed. The race between your awareness and your eyelids getting heavier has started. At last, you laid on the bed while trying to keep your eyes open, although your eyelids won the race.

Your one hour sleep was disturbed with the sounds coming from the door, as the key is being unlocked. You took the glass from the table and tucked it inside the blanket, closing your eyes again and pretending to sleep. Perhaps if they saw you weren’t awake yet, they would leave you alone. After a few clicks, the door was finally opened. Your heart sinked at the time you heard a familiar glass-crunching step coming inside the room. This can't be real, you thought as you pinched your arms once again, believing you were dreaming and this was simply a false awakening. Once again, the door was locked with a series of clicking sounds. You keep your breaths in silent, not wanting to let your kidnapper know you have awakened. The silence went for a few minutes, until he reached your hair and stroked it. He didn’t say anything, like knowing you have awakened. Or maybe he was trying to wake you up. The stroke gave you mixed feelings between comfort and fear. You’re like a little deer with a leopard paw on your head. The stroke stopped with him patting your shoulder.

“I’d like to talk for a few things with you”

You keep silent, hoping he wouldn't notice your eyelids now open wide.

“I doubt that you’re still in your slumber but im just gonna assume you’re listening to me now”

Still a silent you gave to him. You let him start his monologue.

“The first time I saw you back in London, I know you’re not exactly there, because you wanted to. Am I right?” You felt a gaze on your back

“You’re just…following your friend’s journey. Having a fun adventure I suppose, but compared to the two- no. Three of your friends, I can tell that you don’t exactly have a significant role for them.” His statement offended you a bit, but deep down you can’t deny it. He had a point. The main reason Layla and Marc brought you was because to prevent Arthur from taking you as his hostage, like what he did to Steven. Ironically, it seems their plan now backfired.

“How cruel of them when they could just leave you alone in your house, peacefully. If they knew what happened now, they would reconsider their choice back then.” Listening to him blaming your friends for something which he was solely responsible for, turned your ears red.

“Was it really their fault when they intended to protect me?” You decided to fully awaken, now sitting with your back facing him.

“You’re the one who took me. If you actually use your brain a little bit, you know this shouldn’t happen.” With a harder grip, the glass on your grasp would crack.

“Put the glass back. There’s no need for such violence.” He just sighed, then looked at the table. His words were firm, as he gave you a warning rather than a suggestion. You gulped a bit, as the reality hit you. There’s no chance for you to win a fight with him, as he did beat you easily in Cairo two months ago.

Before you put the glass, however, your mind thought of a fast plan. You can’t win his fight, but if you broke the glass right on his face, you could buy some time to escape. Your naive side took control of your body and threw a punch with a glass in your palm. The feelings of regret took over your mind, as you didn’t expect he would catch the glass without needing to turn his back to you completely. You swore to gods the speed of his power as an avatar was still there, despite he no longer having his Goddess inside. One of his hands held your wrist tightly, while the others took the glass out from your palm. His grip felt like it could crack your bone with a little more effort. After he put the glass on the table, he reached you with another hand, and put it together inside his grip. His hand was big and strong enough to grip two of your delicate wrists. Eyes meeting each other, as his icy blue eyes made your breaths shaky. He adjusted his position to meet your face closer, now you could feel his breaths on your face.

“I told you, there’s no need for violence. And you didn’t listen.” His free hand put a strain of your loose hair to the back of your ear.

“Have you lost your mind? Of course I would defend myself !” You hissed to him, struggling to free from his grip. But the more your hands moved, the tighter his grasp. His veins on his hands rose from the strength of his power.

“From what? I didn’t put you in harm. In fact, it’s you who tried to put some glass shards on my face. “ He tilted his head, with a little sad expression. Of course you could tell he was trying to mock you.
