Has it been days? Weeks? A month? 

No, two months. It has been two months since he last saw you, and every second that passes by without you by his side any longer makes him quite… distracted. 

Such a thing has never occurred to him before. Of course, it must have been because all he had ever known are beings that are powerful enough to fend for themselves, and he has a huge trust in them to do so. Not to say that he does the opposite with you, however, and it was one of the things that he still has a difficult time trying to understand—why does he worry so much? 

Worry? 

Such a feeling… is one that particularly feels foreign for the likes of him. 

The uneasiness that comes with it, how it directly affects him, and how he works does not sit well either. 

By the time he senses your presence the minute you had stepped in the boundaries of Liyue, he was instantly by your side and does something that surprises not only you but also himself. 

Something—or someone—appearing so suddenly made you jump and almost draw out your weapon—one that your lover insisted you always keeping it with your person. Well, that is until you saw the familiar teal locks and golden eyes of “Xiao! You scared the hell out of me!” 

“I…” missed you—the words died down in his mouth before he could even let the last two words out, only to clear his throat and say, “I apologize, for scaring and surprising you.” 

You could only heave out a sigh, yet a smile gets released from your features—one that almost made him get to his knees with how it shook ever so slightly at the beautiful sight in front of him. 

“I missed you.” 

This time, it just slipped out of his lips, so fast that it had beaten his arms that were stretching its way to you, and his entire body making way to lean into yours as if it was magnetized upon warmth that he had so long missed each and every second you were away. 

“Oop-“ you jumped but instinctively had both of your hands on his shoulders, not long sliding down to his waist after giggling on your own, feeling his breath tickle you on the skin of your neck. 

“I guess you really did, huh? With how tight you’re holding me right now,” you teased him with a smirk, and even if he couldn’t see your face, he just knew. Yet he tightens his arms even more and presses a quick kiss on your neck, muttering a “Mmhm,” and leaning his head on your shoulder. 

Your hold on him tightens as well, immersing yourself in his scent that overwhelmed your entire being after being so away from him for a very long time. 

“I missed you too, baby. I’m home.”

Kisses sweet as honey, a touch as soft as silk flowers and a soul as radiant as the setting sun - this is how the illuminated beast known as Xiao sees you.

Hundreds, thousands of years had passed since the last time he felt such a feeling in his chest. He felt ashamed of himself of how desperate he was for you, your presence, the sound of your comforting voice and entire being. He felt bad for constantly following you. Well, only sometimes really. The feeling was just too good, he could end his life right there and then - his death would be happy and fulfilled.

Xiao's new favorite hobby consisted of him watching you from a distance, pale cheeks dusted red as he makes himself comfortable in a cozy tree, Jade Spear always in hand lest some fool or beast decides to ruin your, and by extension, his day. You're often surrounded by various children and would exchange many stories but his personal favorite was when you would talk about his long deceased friends. Each word that comes out of your mouth is nothing short of respectful but beautiful. Your ability of telling stories as if you were there were something that Xiao would often be left in awe, his golden gaze locked firmly on your being. Even with him being so far away he knew that you could sense him, sense his cursed presence and longing desire.

You couldn't pin point him of course, you were only human after all. But the occasional distress you'd display was... cute. Precious even. The fearful look in your eye was a reminder to Xiao that he needed to protect you, that he was far stronger than you could ever dream to be. But that was okay. He just hoped that you would never get into the heat of battle and get yourself killed.

He made it his mission to even scare you away if you were in too deep, in his opinion of course.

Green and black particles would linger in the air as the sound of a male voice would haunt you, warning you to never go down a specific path lest you had a death wish. You would obey it every single time, making Xiao feel both proud and relieved.

It was best if you knew your place.

However one day, you got a little bold. You started to ask the gruff and mysterious voice questions. He hardly replied to any of them in the beginning but Xiao soon became tempted, his own selfishness taking over his heart.

Come to Wangshu Inn, he commanded. Come to the Inn and you shall never fear anything ever again, he promised.

He stayed true to his word. You were never afraid of anything ever again. You started to fear him instead.

🟪Even with her cheerful personality, Shinoa is a lonely girl. Mahiru was the only person she viewed as a friend and after her death, the young girl stopped trying to form bonds and lost faith in others until her Squad came along. Believe it or not, she’d actually like to remain detached from her darling as the type to know of their own wrong obsession. Her romantic feelings are locked away inside of her, she is reserved about them and in normal interactions with you it is hard to tell. Shinoa might come of as a bit insulting and blunt with her choice of words, she attempts to push you initially away from her. She is terrified to get attached only to be disappointed in the end, her obsession disturbs her and she worries that her demon will take control of her if she loses herself too much in those emotions.

🟪Her wanting to push you away is a direct result from her protective paranoia as well. She is leading a Squad and has by now become terribly aware that one tiny mistake can lead to the death of one of her comrades and she fears that you might be the one to pay the price for her stupid mistake. Shinoa herself is still uncertain of her feelings and doesn’t really want to act on th before she has worked out everything either. The lady is a stalker though because whilst she avoids you quite a bit, when her mind is too filled with you or she feels stressed out she finds your presence soothing.

🟪Whilst she is uncertain how she should feel and act with her growing infatuation, Shinoa is very sure that the way some people act so affectionate with you or the other way around annoys her. She possesses a very sarcastic attitude with a dry humor. Her remarks and comments she gives people you’re close to are not only teasing but also very apathetic so that they sound like an insult. She keeps up her joyous facade all whilst feeling delightful about putting the culprit of her jealousy in a uncomfortable situation. She’s like a hunter waiting for a weak spot to show in the other person and as soon as she finds one, she’ll attack. Don’t underestimate her manipulative side either. With occasional remarks she intends to push you away from certain people or heed her advices.

🟪Her attitude and sometimes downright rude and sadistic remarks should be enough to scare away most she does not want near her s/o. Mostly for jealous and possessive reasons than protective ones since she becomes, against her better judgment, with time very attached to her darling. Behind that cheery and facetious part of her is a insecure girl with high expectations on herself after all, the sister of a genius she knows she can never become. Her insecurities aside, Shinoa actually transform into a little menace when your well-being and your life are in danger. She can be all too terribly apathetic against anyone that poses a threat to you and it’s only all that worse since she tends to keep that grin on her face. A grin that does not reach her eyes.

🟪She lives alone in her apartment and I do not really see her as someone who would kidnap her darling. Whilst she does grow more and more neutral to the fact that she’s obsessed with you and is willing to threaten others, a part of her can still not accept everything. She holds herself back since she also knows that it’s from a strategic point of view not the best option. Her apartment is already quite a mess so she doesn’t know how she could possibly afford to take care of you as an addition. She’s sure you’d try to escape her, if people find you locked away in her apartment she’ll be in huge troubles and she couldn’t even watch over you properly. She has missions to do. As the sly snake she is, Shinoa relies once again on her manipulative side.

🟪For such a small girl, she is quite the little catastrophe. Her manipulative side is by far the scariest thing about her, combined with her apathetic and sarcastic attitude. Her family is rich so she would be able to pull quite a few strings yet she rarely uses her family name against you. She doesn’t want to rely on her family’s power too much. Shinoa broods a long time whether or not she wants to really confess her feelings or not but is jealous enough to shoo possible competition away as fast as possible. She steps out of her comfort zone the day she confesses to you. She takes delight in teasing her lover a lot and if she knows that they are a bit shy about something in the relationship, she is sure to embarrass them by doing exactly that. Just enough to make you a bit uncomfortable, she doesn’t want to overdo it.

Basic Information

Personality : Quiet, Shy, observant, anxious/cautious

Breathing style : Cloud breathing

Appearance : Yumeko has long grey hair, wispy bangs in the front. This hair is in an odd design, think of Ayaka from Genshin Impact, with the ponytail being a braid instead. Yumeko adorns a normal uniform with nothing special, along with a cloud designed haori that is 2 times her size. Yumeko is 5"5, and has a frail skinny build. She is also abnormally light, making her perfect for her breathing style. Yumeko has dark forest green eyes, a gradient like feature like Shinobu, and with a squiggly pupil. She also has a diagonal scar across her face.

Backstory

Yumeko was born into the family of the village chief, high in the mountains. The village is called Lukar, and is known for it's cannibalistic heritage. Though, they do not practice cannibalism anymore.

When Yumeko was born, her mother succumbed to child birth, leaving her father mourning. This enraged Futuka Kamuri, her father, and thus blamed the death of his wife, Midori Kamuri, on his child.

During her early stages of life Yumeko was heavily abused, physically, and verbally. Often locked in her own room away from people as punishment for killing her mother. This causes her antisocial behavior which is now seen in her.

Eventually Futuka had enough, and then decided he was going to kill his daughter Yumeko. This leading to the scar she has across her face. Futuka ultimately didn't cut deep enough, leaving his daughter with a nasty gash as she ran away into the woods.

During her time in the woods, she met a demon who was a former slayer. The demons name was Komo, who took the form of a spider. Komo taught Yumeko the ways of cloud breathing, and even gave Yumeko the weapon she has today. A double sided hook polearm.

Eventually Komo became ravenous, asking for death from her student. Yumeko granted this wish, killing her mentor, and set off to help people the way she couldn't be helped. A tinge of hope in her broken heart that maybe one day she could prove herself worthy of living.

“There you are!” Hands shot out to catch them mid-fall, cradling their head gently. “Oh god, what happened to you?”

“A-ah, I’m not sure...” they chuckled hesitantly, eyelids drooping shut as they tried (and failed) to sit up. “But... where are the others?”

“They’re taking care of Grim.” Oh, right, Grim. The cat-monster they met on the first day. Their unruly ‘familiar’ with flaming ears and a penchant for tuna cans. Grim, their fellow dorm-mate and friend.

“I know, I know, I don’t want that either,” she sobbed, a hand resting on top of their head, “But I’m scared, Nephi. You’re injured- badly, and I-”

She took in a deep breath. “If I let you go, how do I know you’ll come back? How do I know the both of you will come back?”

“We will. I promise.”

“The last time you did-“ she stuttered, heaving painfully as she gripped onto their shoulders, “the last time you made a promise was when we went down into S.TY.X together. Don’t you remember?”

Ah, right. How could they forget?

Yumeko, on top of the chariot, reaching desperately forward as they dove headfirst into the Underworld. The others, their own horrified screams echoing into the caverns, unable to do anything. Grim, safely tucked into their arms as they fell, deeper and deeper still.

Had it not been for Yume’s quick thinking, they would’ve surely died then.

But today was different, they reasoned to themself, today wasn’t like then.

That isn’t counting what would happen if Grim managed to get out of the campus. What would happen to RSA? The village by the bay? The rest of Twisted Wonderland?

If they didn’t get to Grim in time, everyone would die. It wouldn’t be just them, or him, but everyone. Malleus, the Briar Prince and heir to the throne of the Valley of Thorns, Leona, the second prince of the Sunset Savanna, Kalim, eldest of the Al-Asim family, everyone in NRC would die.

Yumeko’s cries snapped them out of their spiral, hands instinctively wrapping around her in a hug.

The girl in their arms curled further into them, as if to hide herself away from the carnage around them. Her hands were scuffed and grazed, they noted, as they held her closer. Her hair was matted, faintly smelling of iron and smoke. Her glasses were missing as well, the tears pouring freely down her face.

And god, did that break their heart.

“Please, Neph, I can’t lose you too.”

“Shh, shh. Don’t cry, Yume. I won’t leave you, I promise. I promise.”

How they wish they could keep promises well.

well it’s good VN overall, Really good casts and the story were good as well and i can understand why why no one talking about it from all of the things that released from Navel and things that Jackson’s write.

oh i didn’t read Yumeko route btw not because it’s bad but she got 2 route dedicated for her, first one available from start and second one after you clear every heroines, personally i just avoiding childhood friends archetype in general that’s all.

i just talk about Yumeko in the last paragraph so the others now and the rests, not giving much detail here just give a bigger picture but i personally like Nako, Ako and Tsubakiko; Sakurako is nice too but i don’t have any energy to continue and just want to go into the Fandisc but she’s good too depend on your taste.

all of them had their own issues and good things so it’s back to your personal preferences, the other side casts also good in general like Momoharu, the teachers and characters that is locked in certain characters personal route like Tsubakiko’s mom, Yoshiko and Nako’s dad.

the issues with this game in general are, well.... it lies within the ending but each route had their own way of solving the inevitable climax event, personally really like it in Nako like it’s really stupid yet really reverberate with boys specifically the Mecha fans so i leave it at that.

as for Ero scene ? it’s eroge ofc there’s one but this is also the problem why no one talking about it despite being a good game, just go straight to Fandisk yeah i really said it just go there.

Hey cuties, I have another genshin impact OC (Original Character) and I'm gonna explain her personality, backstory.

Nanami / Jabami

Personality-:

A Soft hearted girl who is kind of the helper of the fatui. She had an long black hair, some are tied into an bun, Her bangs was hiding her own eyes making her look mysterious. She sometimes feels self-conscious due to her eyes being heterochromia. Left is red, right is yellow.

Backstory -:

She was abandoned by her parents at an young age, she grown up alone making her nervous around human beings, she was searching for her sisters since her parents doesn't accept her. Mio and Yumeko. Her sisters' name. She finally found her parents after a few years, Their name was changed, the anger of them treating her like an dog was enough for her to snap. Her parents was acting pure and innocent to her now. since the only children they have was gone, They suddenly gave her whole life saving to Nanami, she declines the offer. They got into a big argument and her parents finally told her the truth and she went crazy, fighting her mother and father in a sword fight. Her father teach swordmanship to people while her mother was apart of the Knights of Favonius. They both retired for their jobs. The Fight ended up into the house being in fire due to a fire place, a piece of fabric caught the fire.

Her father was locked up in a room by Nanami, while her mother was stuck between the fire, Nanami got out and the house started to breaks down after that her parents was burned alive. Nanami sat outside of the burning house in guilt, realizing that she killed her own parents. She run away far from her parents' house.

She got her vision right after the day her parents died.
