it did lmao. but to compare flowey and Sunny's relationship isn't completely accurate.

I mean granted they're both doing it for the fun of it, and to see how far they can PUSH THIS goody two shoes to BREAK...

but like... crimson wouldn't let y/ actually go that far. they don't need another exp teammate or rival. if y/n genuinely trys to kill something FOR REAL, they'll stop them. like, push them off the ledge of sanity on purpose then grab their hand mid air and pull them back just at the last second.

they want to see y/n solve this issues without resorting to LV, but also being GORCED towards it. crimson isalready at max LV. but since y/n is still at a relatively low level they're not planning on turning them into killing assistant just yet.

they don't actually care about winning against dust.

I think flowey just wanted to see how far sunny would go or how far he could twist them.

crimson's been there done that with sans already. they wanna see y/n fight back DIFFERENTLY than dust. if y/n just resorted to LV crimson would lose interest and instantly kill them on the spot.

y/n will ALWAYS be at crimson's mercy even if they DO resort to LV. there's no outmatching th m when it comes to kill count or murder.

but it is a pretty close comparison!

The only ‘military’ story I have in my bookmarks is "The War Amongst Us" by TheIndianaCrew which follows a young female spy/soldier who is captured by monsters of the opposing army. It’s a reader/W.D. Gaster though.

Judging by your taste though, I think you might like ZombieTale by Kamisori which has all the skelebros sucked into reader’s post apocalyptic world where she lives with her own 2 skeleton boys. its by far my fave zombie fic and it’s It’s 44 chapters long so far.

and dust's just staring at them in the face as they squish sunny like playdough...

if crimson went to zombietale or any infected zombie au... they'd probably like eventually get bored of people reviving and not dying. it was only fun when THEY could do it! also mindless zombies are so boring. at least five them some intelligence so they can entertain them.

like flowey! they'd totally vibe with floweys infected form... be it the one that absorbed the six souls and tore a literal hole through space time or zombietale flowey.

they'd also get infected because they get too cocky... but they're not afraid of chopping off their limbs before it spreads so... as long as they're not stabbed near the soul, the can just regrow their limbs with the save point.

as for determination level... I'd say their determination rivals FIVE human souls. they would be able to reset in axetale... but not in a regular neutral run where flowey has 6 souls instead of 4...

I don't know much about the black souls determination but it seems to have A LOT of it.

crimson's soul is DARK red. it's not black but it does have similar clingy... stickiness to it as the zombie soul.

they're too determined. they're obsessed. they're CLINGY AND WILL NEVER LET GO.

that sorta determination would rival the hunger.

they have a hunger of their own. it's just a morbid addictive curiousity. and a thirst for excitement...

I'm not sure if the infection can overwrite THAT kinda fucked up mentality of... basically a ghost of the past that's repeating it's memory out of obsession.

still I don't know WHAT the black soul is exactly capable of. we know frisk can save there... so the black soul SHOULDN'T be able to reset... I'm intrigued.

ohh my god, talking about horror aus of undertale reminded me of this one comic. i can't remember it for the life of me but there was some kind of virus spreading in the underground??? it was beautifully drawn and now it's gonna drive me crazy. i don't know if it was ever finished, i just remember watching a comic dub of it. i can't remember if the virus was a true sickness or it was making people violent or both or what. i feel like i'm gonna fixate on this until i find the answer HERKSGHK
