Hello! My name is Taylor and I am an animation student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My focus is 3D character animation, so I will be posting all my animation here! I am also a part of the SCAD Senior Film "For Luna," and the official production blog can be found @forlunafilm.tumblr.com and you can also check out my website - taylormichelleart.com
Here’s some UV maps for some of the objects in the film I’m working on! UV’s drive me crazy and are definitely a challenge but I love getting to learn!
I totally forgot to pose this last quarter! Here were some lighting tests I did in Maya to play with mood. There’s regular lighting, Sunset, and two different night time ideas.
It’s been a while since I’ve gotten a chance to post, but here are a couple of plants for the environment on @forlunafilm! One is a spider plant and one is a money tree!
WIP of a small test scene I’m working on in preparation for the film I’m working on, @forlunafilm! Almost done with the rough blocking, just gotta fix a few things and then I can start inbetweening/polishing!
Here’s a quadruped run cycle based on a tutorial I watched! I’m teaching myself quadruped animation for the senior film I’m working on at SCAD, @forlunafilm!
First animation of the quarter! Trying to teach myself quadruped animation for the Senior Film I’m working on, @forlunafilm! Check out the official production blog to see what everyone else is doing!
This is just a walk cycle test based off of a tutorial I was watching. I definitely learned a lot from this tutorial even if the rig didn’t want to cooperate for me haha
Have a happy panther! Haha practicing quadruped animation. Really wish I could take the class but I don't know when it would be offered again :/ so yay for self teaching! Haha panther rig by Long Winter
Here’s my submission for the 11 Second Club and also my final for my Character Animation I class at SCAD! I’m so excited with how this turned out. I used the Malcolm rig from Animschool, the Cody rig and a horse rig I found online. I also had fun texturing everything with Toon Shader, because I love 3-D animation that looks 2-D.
