Hi, I hope my bad English doesn't confuse you.

I've been reading a lot about the world after the war, with them older. And normally it's sweet and happy, I've missed all the pain, anguish and tears. I could write something like the kataang relationship falling apart about the pressure of being the last airbender, the lack of stability of always traveling and Aang being negligent in the relationship because he is always at peace meetings. Then everything blows up in his face and Katara is leaving him and stuff like that.

I always thought that if Kataang ended Aang would be the most devastated, I think I think that from Aang's pov. This was so specific and bigger than I thought. In the end I think I just want something with lots of tears and pain

Broken vows

The 20th anniversary of the end of the war finds Avatar Aang meditating alone near the ruins of the Southern Air Temple, the place closest to his soul. These days, the avatar can't help but wonder again and again if he made the right choice in running away from his destiny, his people.

Aang pov

I sigh in defeat and stand up, unable to focus on anything. Now, I don't understand how I was ever able to focus, to meditate, to make those I love proud of me. What would have happened if I hadn't run like a coward? Would I have saved my people or died trying? It would have been perfect anyway, at least I wouldn't have met her, at least I wouldn't have disappointed her. I feel like an asshole, and I also feel like she was and is the unfair one. I didn't choose to be the avatar, I didn't choose to have the weight of the world on my shoulders. Why couldn't she be like the other girls for once, why wasn't she willing to sacrifice her pride for my happiness just a little more? Why didn't she keep her vows? Why did she think our children would be happier without me? I should have seen the signs. At first, everything was perfect. I was working tirelessly to strengthen the very fragile peace between the three remaining nations, and she was working on building the hospital in Republic City. Then Bumi was born, and our happiness couldn't be stronger. I loved my son, I love him and I will always love him. No matter what people say, no matter what Katara thinks. She never said it, but I saw the glint of disappointment in her eyes. I breathe in and out to calm myself down. I feel a horrible taste of ash with all my senses. Is this what my people felt in their last moments? I lie on the grass and look at the sky, remembering the times when Kya would talk to me about the shapes of the clouds. Back then, I thought those moments would last forever. What a fool! I bet Kya doesn't even remember those moments. This year she will be 10 years old, she has grown so much without me being able to see her.

I still remember that horrible day. That day that haunts me again and again, whether I'm asleep or awake. The day Katara and all my friends betrayed me. Four years, 5 months, 2 weeks and 5 days ago, not that I'm counting, Katara handed me divorce papers. She said she can't live like this anymore, that children can't live like this anymore, and that we should part ways. I thought she was joking, that she wanted to get back at me for not doing the dishes the night before.

I started to laugh, although it wasn't funny at all. Bumi, then 10 years old, looked at me unamused and I thought he didn't understand Katara's jokes either. Kya looked at me sadly as she mixed her food and Tenzin got up and ran to his room. Kya ran after him and Katara sighed in resignation.

Four years earlier

Toph squeezed Katara's shoulder and patted her on the back.

Toph: Be strong Sugar Queen.

I looked at Katara as I began to feel fear and distrust take over my entire being.

Aang: Are you okay sweetie?

Katara: Aang, please stop calling me that.

Aang: Katara?

I look at divorce papers like it's a death sentence. Honestly, I'd rather it be. I look at Sokka and the blue of his eyes freezes me. Where did my brother-in-law go? Where I used to see the love of a brother, I now see the ruthlessness of a hunter. I feel like a bird ready to be killed. I look at Katara shakily.

Aang: Honey, what's with this sneaky joke?

But in her eyes there is not even a playful twinkle, but only a sea of pity.

Aang: No! Katara, you can't do this! You can't be so cruel!

Toph: Oh, be a man! Your marriage has no future Twinkle Toes!

Aang: You're in no position to talk about it Toph!

Katara: Enough Aang! That's enough! I've had enough! We have no future!

Aang: What makes you say that? Katara, I don't think you understand what you're asking! How will you raise the children alone?

Sokka: I think you're the one who doesn't understand what we're asking! Sign the papers and stop being a child!

Present

I wipe a tear from my cheek and stand up. I can't do it, I can't live without Katara, without my children, without my friends..

Naive

The war had ended 4 years ago, but the world was far from perfect. You were one of the middle men of the Fire Nation. You felt that the war was useless, but you never stepped out of line. Although you were a strong bender, you ran away from a possible career in the army and chose to be a guard in the Royal Palace. Unfortunately for you, this was the beginning of your downfall.

Y/N pov:

I still remember the happiness I felt when Prince Lu Ten allowed me to work as a palace guard. I had always seen the young prince as a role model and I was sure that we would have a great time playing pranks around the palace. But then he left for the army and my world shattered. I was assigned as Prince Zuko's guardian and I swore that I would protect him with my life.

Although I got along well with Zuko, Princess Azula was a completely different story. Since the first day of work, Princess Ursa had tasked me with punishing her disobedient daughter. She knew that not even Ozai would try something dirty with one of Prince Lu Ten's guards. Ozai was evil, not stupid!

A/N pov:

You tried to be as nice as possible with Azula, but the little witch was doing annoying things just to get your attention. Fortunately for you, you escaped the palace once Zuko was exiled. You thought you would never see her again, but fate did not agree.

At Zuko's request, you agreed to supervise the psychotic princess. Although you knew you didn't need anyone to control the little witch, you accepted the help of 5 other capable benders. Azula was just as you remembered her, a broken person who would do anything for the slightest bit of attention. She never fooled you, no matter how hard she tried.

Y/N pov:

The prison was by far the sickest and most horrible I had seen. The prisoners were treated like worthless toys by the guards. I didn't care, the prisoners had committed more heinous crimes than I could count. But one day I exploded.

I was walking towards the princess's cell mentally preparing to force her to eat, when I started hearing screams. I rushed to the cell and almost broke the door. My blood started to boil at the scene in front of me.Two guards were trying to immobilize the terrified princess, and another was trying to tear her clothes. You gave in to your anger and destroyed two of them with a bolt of lightning. The next few minutes were a frenzy of blood, screams and flames.

When I regained control, I was in a dense forest with the princess.

Azula: are you ok Y/N? You took some brutal hits!

Y/N: why do you care? Shouldn't you kill me and run?

Azula: We both know you're the only person I wouldn't kill.

Y/N: so you can be honest? surprising!

Azula: You know very well that I never lied to you! You lied to yourself all your life! For once, be honest with yourself Y/N!

Y/N: to be honest with myself? Sure! I am an idiot! I've always been an idiot! You know why? Because I always let you destroy my life!

Azula: Maybe if you had seen from the beginning that we were made for each other, now we would rule the world together! But nooo! You had to run away with my idiot brother! And don't think I didn't find out about your little business with that bitch!

A cold shiver ran down my spine when I saw her demonic grin.Suddenly everything made sense. The way she always seemed to watch me from the shadows, the fact that Ozai had allowed me to stay in the palace even after exile, all my friends were horrified by the thought of staying in the same room with me. All this time I was being manipulated by a girl 10 years younger than me! Azula starts laughing and clapping.

Azula: Yes! I knew you were a smart boy!

Y/N: stay away from me!

Azula: oh come on Y/N! What will you do? You are a criminal now! welcome to the family!

Y/N: you are crazy! You are a monster! Iroh was right! You must fall!

Azula: No, I don't have to! What I have to do is prove to you that you cannot survive without me!

Y/N: what? Azula! Don't you dare hurt me!

Azula: don't you dare leave me ever again! You are mine, we are made for each other! And don't you dare to lie to yourself! We all know you would never kill me! no one will save you from me!

Y/N: when Zuko finds out we're missing...

Azula: Zuzu? Oh dear, you are so naive! He sent you into my clutches! My dear brother didn't want to lose me, after everything that happened he still loves me! How much were you worth to him? A promise! All I had to do was promise to take my meds, not try to kill again him and blah blah blah

After the short time in which Ozai dared to appear an almost normal person, all the sources of fire in the room exploded with his maniacal gaze. You did your best not to look intimidated and continued to look into his eyes.

Y/N: what is the matter my lord? You seem a little upset. Allow me to stop bothering you with my humble presence.

You try to leave the room as fast as you can to avoid making him angrier. He grabs your arm and starts laughing. It's not an evil or mocking laugh, it's the exact same laugh you heard when you and Ozai managed to burn down Azulon's chambers without getting caught. You also start to laugh at the memory of the moments when you two thought of moving to the colonies so that Azulon wouldn't turn you into snacks for the Komodo rhinos. Ozai stops when he hears your laugh and pulls you into his arms.This moment could have seemed romantic, even sweet, if the man next to you had not dug his nails into your arms and breathed out sparks while resting his head on your shoulder. When you met, the first trick that Ozai had shown to impress you was the expiration of the sparks. At the time it seemed childish to you, now it just seems creepy. You sigh and try to free yourself from his grip without seeming like you'd like to be anywhere but in his arms. He loosens his grip a little, and when you thought you would succeed, he lifts you up like a bride and walks towards his desk. He sits you in his chair and then crosses his arms and looks at you reproachfully.

Ozai: so? to stage your death to desert? I am ashamed that I underestimated you my dear.

Y/N: old habits have always brought you down.

Ozai: the fact that you say that amuses me.

Y/N: I'm glad I still manage to amuse you.

Ozai: Good choice. You know what would be an even better choice? Don't you dare betray me again!

You startle when he raises his voice but you continue to look at him. You tense your jaw trying not to throw a sharp remark at him. This is the same man who criticizes his 7-year-old son because he could not control his reactions and feelings. How pathetic and childish, when will this man grow up?

Y/N: oh? Did I manage to hurt the powerful Fire Lord's feelings? How bad of me!

Ozai: Shut up! Don't you dare make fun of me!

Y/N: ok ok. I'm sorry for my lack of respect!

Ozai: You lie well, but I know you even better. I'm pretty sure I felt worse when Iroh left with Zuko than you do now.

Y/N: that says a lot.

You get up from your chair and approach the Fire Lord as if he were a wild animal. You gently place your hand on his cheek and display the most sincere look you have. You notice that Ozai loses control for a moment but then looks at you with veiled curiosity.

Y/N: Look Ozai, I admit that my leaving was something impulsive and ill-conceived. But I think you know best how to use an opportunity without thinking. I don't want to pretend that I respect you more than I did before you became Fire Lord, for me you are and will be the same Ozai as always. So I propose to forget all our childish arguments and behave like adults. I swear on my honor that I will forget all the arguments and unpleasantness you have created for me, that I will not run away and that I will be loyal to you if you promise me that I will have a role in all your decisions and that you will leave me to take care of Azula and Zuko's education. We have a deal?

Ozai frowned and you looked at him with a pleading look.

Ozai: I also have my conditions. We will get married next week, after the wedding you will become my queen and you will get everything you want. But I warn you, you will not have the right to leave the palace without me and you will not speak to any friend or relative without my permission. You will move into my rooms, you will be able to decorate everything to your liking but no one will be allowed to enter without my consent, not even Azula. Zuko will not be allowed to return without the avatar, and if he does you will be able to prepare him for his role as crown prince. You are not allowed to send letters outside the royal family, and if you want to send one to Azula or Zuko I will watch over you while you write it. You will participate with me at the state meetings. You understand?

Typical Ozai. You are sure that he will force you to sign the marriage contract with blood. As if you were stupid enough to trust someone from this palace. You are not Ursa, you grew up in the capital, not in a village. You hardly refrain from sighing and look at him seriously. You slowly nod your head and smile as beautifully as you can. Ozai grins victoriously and kisses you. You put your hands around his neck and deepen the kiss. Now that Ozai has agreed with you, you will be able to get involved both in the lives of the princes and in political life. Now the most important thing is to handle the tyrant carefully. You break the kiss due to lack of air and give him an excited look.

Y/N: Theoretically speaking, will I be able to challenge a certain minister to an Agni Kai? As a wedding present? Please!

Ozai: if you're talking about the minister that Zuko spoke against then no.

Y/N: You don't love me!

Ozai: did I ever say I love you? I'm marrying you for political reasons.

Y/N: what reasons? Do you want to prove that absolutely anyone can get married?

Fortunately for you, he had to go to an urgent meeting. You sighed and headed to the bedroom to take a nap. You took one of Ozai's shirts and changed your clothes. You sat down in bed and quickly fell asleep. You don't know how much time has passed but one of the servants woke you up looking alarmed. You yawned and rubbed your eyes.

Y/N: I hope you have a good reason to disturb my sleep.

He looks at the floor and quickly explains that the princess sent him to take you to her. Now you understand why the poor guy looked like he wanted to wet his pants. You tell him that you will be ready immediately and that he can leave. You change quickly and head towards the princess's rooms. Once there, you enter and see Azula walking around the room, looking like she's about to commit a crime. She sees you and immediately hugs you. Since when does Azula love hugs so much?! You hold her in your arms and head towards her bed, pulling her with you.

Y/N: what happened? You look worried.

Azula: I saw father hurrying to the council and I didn't see you coming out of his chambers.

Y/N: I'm sorry Zula, I was tired and took a nap.

Azula: father won't execute you for treason, will he?

Y/N: no Azula, your father won't kill me. In fact, the two of us are getting married in a week.

That seems to calm her down. After a few moments she smiles excitedly but quickly puts on an impassive mask. You sigh and give the girl a faint smile. It was always difficult for her to hide her feelings in front of you. You always felt that you were her only real parent and that makes you regret your escape even more. Okay, you'll never regret this, but you know you should have taken her with you. How would things be now?

Y/N: now, let's leave the wedding aside. Tell me what else you did in my absence.

Azula: what did I do? I told you, I trained and attended my father's meetings in the war room.

Y/N: not that! what else did you do in your free time! you know, fun.

Azula: Fun? what kind of fun?

Y/N: going out on the town with Ty Lee and Mai, pranks on the nobles.

Azula: Am I allowed to do this?

Y/N: you are as boring as your grandfather! Even me and your father used to do this.

Azula: Dad was going out on the town?!

Y/N: did I tell you about how I got your father drunk by lying to him that royals can't get drunk because royals have dragon blood?

Azula looks at you in amazement and sits more comfortably, waiting for you to continue. You giggle and start telling her stories about your and Ozai's teenage years. If only things were as fun as they were back then.

From the very next day, things went crazy. First you had to do dozens of preparations for the wedding day, then the wedding came and you swore that you would never wear another wedding dress in your life. That thing was a torture device. Then came Azula's departure. After only one month Ba Sing Se fell and Zuko returned. Ozai kept his word to your amazement but you didn't and used your time with Zuko to try to convince him to betray his father. When the eclipse arrived and Zuko confronted his father you threw him an encouraging smile. But you had to look angry quickly to make sure Ozai didn't suspect anything. He didn't. When Zuko asked you to go with him Ozai tried to kill him with lightning. You thanked all the gods when Zuko redirected the lightning.

Ever since Azula was betrayed by Mai and Ty Lee, you've noticed that her mental health is rapidly deteriorating. The last straw was when Ozai left to burn Earth Kingdom without her. The worst was that you forced him to leave her behind. You didn't want her to take part in such a genocide. It was too late for Ozai, but not for her.

The Agni Kai hurt you more than anything. When Zuko was safe thanks to Katara, you ran towards Azula as fast as you could. You knelt next to her without caring if she would have hurt you with her fire. You pulled her into your arms and started stroking her hair slowly. She rested her head on your shoulder and began to breathe sparks between the broken whimpers she was making. You didn't move away, you didn't care about your dress.

You swore to yourself that you would stand by Azula and bring her on the right path regardless of the cost. You were a firebender and you weren't afraid of getting burned.

A predestined match

You were one of Toph's students and also one of her best friends.

So when the Gaang decided to take a trip to Makapu Village for Aunt Wu to read Zuko, Suki and Toph's future, you were invited.

You didn't have high expectations but you liked to laugh at Sokka. It was clear that he hated that village with all his heart.

You arrived in Makapu in the evening and camped in the forest, and the next morning you set off for Aunt Wu's house.

She was happy to see Aang and Katara again and to meet the rest of you but she wasn't too happy to see Sokka again.

You laughed seeing how much hatred the two looked at each other and accidentally bumped into someone.

You apologized and helped the girl up from the floor.

You looked at each other blushing but were interrupted by Suki who was impatient to know her future.

While Aunt Wu was reading Suki's future, Meng brought you snacks. She congratulated Aang and Katara on their new relationship and winked at Aang. Aang blushed and Sokka chuckled.

You, Toph and Zuko started talking about superstitions and the supernatural. Although Zuko fully believed that there were signs foreshadowing certain events, you and Toph were skeptical.

your debate was interrupted by Meng who complimented your big ears which made you blush.

Your friends started to laugh heartily.

You thanked the girl for the original compliment and complimented her hair. She blushed and started playing with her tails.

You chuckled, in your defense the girl did seem cute.

You invited her to sit next to you.

While Aunt Wu was reading your friends' fortunes, you continued to talk to Meng.

Finally it was your turn.

Aunt Wu said you picked the love bone. You threw it into the fire, and the fire rose up to near the roof, which worried you a little.

Aunt Wu looked at the flames with a frown and told you that you recently met your future wife, that she is not a bender but has a gift given by the spirits.

When you left the room, you noticed that Aang was helping Meng spy on you.

You rolled your eyes at their silly excuses.

You looked at Meng with an evil grin and told her that a future fortune teller should be able to guess what's going on in the room without spying.

And then it hit you.

Meng had received the gift of fortune-telling from the spirits and you had met her today.

Meng blushed and told you stammering that she knew it was you since she saw your ears.

Aang ran off to tell the others and you asked her out trying to look disinterested.

Unlike Mai, she would trade the other nations if they kidnapped you, because she loves you more than anything else in the world

Though, she is like Mai in the sense she'll betray Azula, because she loves you more than she fears her

Azula, Mai, Ty Lee, and Zuko

You were at first with Ty Lee

Though, you two were never official

You two just bonded better than the rest of them

Zuko and Mai became protective over you, seeing you repeatedly get hurt

Azula just saw you as stupid and she liked humiliating you

Zuko saw himself in you and wanted to protect you from Azula

^Mai was jealous at first, but soon realized you weren't enemies, but friends. You deserved to be protected from the monster that is Azula

You love Azula, because you've realized that she's never really had love in her life [It's more out of pity]

You go with them everywhere, though this gets you a lot hurt

They always get you, but then Azula becomes a little more anxious about letting you come

Azula would never tell you, but she loves you more than anything in the world and that scares her

Ty Lee just thinks your fun, but she doesn't really form a complex feeling for you. She just likes that you're fun

Mai and Zuko see themselves as your protector, especially against Azula. They kind of act like your parents, but they're both distant emotionally, but you definitely open them up

The GAang [Katara, Sokka, Aang, and Toph]

Katara was the first to fall for you, but not the first to tell you her feelings

It's probably Sokka who tells you

But you don't take it seriously, because he's a flirter

Toph is mean to you and is kind of like a big bully

Aang is nice and treats you like he's known you forever

You both just click so well

When Toph and Katara fight, you are brought into their fights, because they want you to be on their side

"I think Sokka is calling me-"

You don't want to catch that smoke

You're probably the most scared of Katara, she reminds you of a scary mother, but don't tell her, because she wants you to see her as a lover not a mother

It took you the longest to get close to Toph, because she has walls up and it's hard to get them down

You bring up her being blind and she get super angry and you quickly blush in embarrassment

^ You do try and watch it and be more considerate of her, but she also doesn't want you to treat her different. Just treat her like the rest. Once you do, she'll let you in

Aang and Sokka make fools themselves in front of you, because they're not good with crushes, no matter how smooth Sokka is

Though you do all get along better than the relationship with the fire nation group [Ty Lee, Azula, Zuko, and Mai]

You're very close and it's hard to break you apart

When a phoenix becomes a father

For Fire Lord it was a day like any other. He got up with the sun, trained for a few hours and then started to deal with the affairs of the nation. The same problems as always, bastards from the Earth Kingdom who refuse to be civilized and traitors who must be eradicated. At the end of the day, Ozai had taken a letter received from Admiral Zhao into his personal room to analyze it while drinking his evening tea. Yes, the first part was full of flattery as always, and Ozai was already regretting that he had wasted his time. But the more he read, the more he felt that the admiral had lost his mind or maybe he had dared to write his letter during a strong drunkenness.

Condolences for the death of his son? What nonsense! Zuko was stronger than that, he was his son, a prince for Agni's sake! That boy would definitely be stronger than some dirty pirates. How dare that traitor lie to him?! As if he hadn't heard that the man hadn't even managed to defeat Zuko in an Agni Kai! In addition, he had dared to attack a prince from behind. Extremely honorable of him! At least the boy had managed to excel. He was sure that exile would help his son to mature and clear his mind of the nonsense inherited from his mother.Ozai was sure that Zuko was fine and he would capture the avatar soon. That is, Zuko had staged his own death to confuse the avatar and Zhao had fallen into his trap. The Fire Lord will never admit it to anyone but this is a pretty good plan. Now the only thing that worried him was the influence his brother had on the young prince. The old man had completely lost his mind after the death of his son, how could a dragon turn into a koala sheep in such a short time?! What would he turn into if Azula were killed? But what if the news from Zhao were true? No, impossible! His children were better than Lu Ten in every way! They were smarter, luckier, braver and more loyal than that spoiled boy. All this because he was a better father than Iroh. He had given the children life lessons, not lessons about tea, music and pai sho. Now that he thinks about it, Iroh had always been a weirdo.

After the Siege of the North Pole, Ozai no longer had any suspicions. His son had become completely worthy of the blood that runs through his veins, and Zhao had been a madman in the true sense of the word. How to decide to burn the moon?! A true military genius would have kidnapped Tui and La. Maybe he'll get Azula to do that. Or maybe Zuko, after the boy finishes his mission. The Fire Nation was made up of islands! The events between the Siege and the Fall of Ba Sing Se had been a blur for the Fire Lord, the problem of his brother having too much influence over his son had been left to Azula. After the crown prince returned home, Ozai was sure that he had already won the war. Also, he had never been prouder of his children. Azula had proven that she was better than all her predecessors, and Zuko had killed the avatar and betrayed the crazy old man, thus symbolically giving up the bad influence he had had on him.

Then came the solar eclipse and Ozai couldn't believe his ears. His son wanted to betray him?! So the boy wanted a new scar. So he will give him a new scar, and now he will lock him in the palace. If Zuko wanted Ozai to watch over him personally then that's what he'll get. Let's see how he will help the avatar standing in his rooms and learning how to fulfill his destiny to rule the Fire Nation. From now on Azula will teach him how to firebend and be strong. If the betrayal of his own son had shaken him, the moment when the boy redirected his lightning and almost killed him stunned him. So now he chose to fight, but when he repeatedly ordered him to do so he chose to beg. That boy won't even be allowed to go out in the gardens when Azula brings him home. He will be punished until Ozai dies. If he reconsiders his choices by then, he will become a Fire Lord, if not he will be punished during Azula's reign.

He is his son, not Ursa's or Iroh's, and only he has the right to order him and decide what is allowed and what is not. As long as that boy lives in his world, he will live according to the rules imposed on him! And Azula, how dare she lie to him?! It must have been the idea of her strange friend from the circus! Or maybe Iroh had also given her advice about life and tea.

Fire lily

You were the daughter of one of the world's most ruthless pirates. In his youth, your father had been Fire Lord Azulon's right-hand man and had led the fire nation's navy to victory. He had conquered the most important port cities of the Earth Kingdom. Following a political dispute and an Agni Kai that your father won with great difficulty, he chose to betray the Fire Nation. Many powerful men of the navy joined him and formed the Ruby Claw, a ruthless and greedy crew that generally preyed on fire navy ships and sometimes Earth Kingdom ships.

You inherited cunning, intelligence and hatred for the Fire Nation. This very hatred made you start a suicidal fight with more than 50 enemy ships. You led your men to victory but you were seriously wounded and taken prisoner. The 3 remaining ships immediately set off for the Capital to surrender you to the Fire Lord. On the way you lost consciousness due to blood loss. You woke up with a bad headache. You got up from the bed you were sitting on and laughed at the stupidity of those who captured you, what idiots! They didn't even tie your hands! Then you looked at the room you were in and froze. Furs and wood, blue and brown everywhere, those idiots lost you to a crew of water tribes! Now you understood why your father said that without his iron hand the fire nation's navy would not have been able to withstand even some wooden ships.You got out as easily as you could on the deck trying to beat the dizziness and the headache. You didn't get to analyze the ship and the crew very well because the captain appeared in front of you instantly. You got scared and almost hit him in the face but you calmed down quickly. The man was not much taller than you and he looked extremely worried.

Hakoda: are you ok miss? You were unconscious for 2 days. You were captured by the Fire Nation, do you remember how or why?

Y/N: 2 days? I feel like I haven't drunk anything in ages! I don't remember for sure how, I think an idiot managed to hit my head on the deck. They probably wanted to organize a beautiful public execution for me. You know, the presence of the Fire Lord, the sages and all that. It would have been a real honor to know that I will be executed by a coward who hides behind his 14-year-old daughter.

Now both the captain and the crew members who heard your little speech looked at you terrified. You chuckled and grabbed the first bottle of alcohol you could find then drank it all in one gulp.

Y/n: Oh! where are my manners, if it can be said that I ever had any. I'm Y/N, Y/F/N's daughter. Thank you for saving me from those coal heads.

Hakoda: I am Hakoda, Chief of the Southern Water Tribe. There is no need to thank us, the enemies of our enemies are our friends. Also, I couldn't have sat and watched you die at the hands of those monsters.

Y/N: how sweet of you.

You notice another water tribe ship approaching you. A tall man steps down from the side of the ship and hugs Hakoda. You looked at his arm covered with burns, sighing. You hated the Fire Nation more every day, those bastards deserved every robbery and attack you led against them. Someone had to give them a taste of their own medicine. Your train of thought was interrupted by your new savior who introduced the man as Bato, his best friend. You were invited to dine with them and listen to Bato's stories. It seems that Hakoda had children and that they were traveling with the avatar. So goodbye chances to have a good time with the handsome man next to you. Why are all handsome men taken and you only attract idiots like Zhao?! If that tin head tries to offer you the honor of marrying him one more time, I swear that one of you will die in agony, and it won't be you.

Bato: I don't mean to be rude but are you a firebender? only that the style in which you tie your hair, your name and your clothes are common in the Fire Nation.

Y/N: good observation, yes I am a firebender. I belong to a noble family but my father betrayed the Fire Nation before I was born. Now I fight the Fire Nation in a less traditional way.

Bato: how do you mean less traditional?

Y/N: I'm the captain of the Rubin Claw.

The two men laughed heartily for a few moments then realized that you were as serious as possible. Hakoda looks at you in absolute terror.

Hakoda: Don't you think it's a bit dangerous? You could die for La's name! The Fire Nation is ruthless!

Y/N: oh! Seriously? I didn't know that at all!

You point at Bato's arm unimpressed. Hakoda sighs deeply and goes to his mattress to sleep.

Y/N: not that I don't think he's cute, but what's the deal with him? Does he have a savior complex or am I too irresistible?

Bato looks at his friend knowingly.You notice that the taller man is lost in his thoughts. You look at him with a raised eyebrow.

Y/N: Listen Bato, I know I may seem rude and uncaring but I really like your friend. He is different from all the men I have known.

Bato: why do I have the impression that you only knew pirates and captains of the Fire Nation Navy?

Y/N: ok ok. You got me. But I was serious when I said that I like him. I want you to be honest, do you think I have a chance with him? I know he has children but you haven't mentioned anything about a wife or girlfriend.

Bato: His wife died a few years ago in a raid, we don't like to talk about her because her death is still an open wound.

Y/N: I'm really sorry, good people don't deserve to die or lose their loved ones like this. Please send your condolences to the children, I know what it's like to lose your mother at a young age.

Bato: I will Y/N, I will.

You went back to the cabin where you woke up and quickly fell asleep. You were woken shortly after sunrise by some urgent knocks on the door. You opened the door only to see Bato looking panicked. You went out on deck and noticed that the water tribe ships were surrounded by your own ships. You grinned dangerously when you saw Akain, your right hand and also your half brother, coming towards you.

Y/N: what took you so long to find me son of a rattlesnake?

Akain: I would have found you sooner if you had stayed on the fire nation ship and we have the same father little viper.

Akain playfully hits you on the head and Hakoda immediately comes towards you. Your brother looks at the water tribe man amused. You roll your eyes and put the firebender back on his ship telling him to wait for you. You return to the watertribe ship and hug Bato. You notice that Hakoda is trying to convince you to give up being a pirate and you laugh briefly. You pull the captain into a passionate kiss. He is frozen for a few seconds and then he responds to your kiss.

Akain: so when you told me that you befriended the watertribe captain, did you mean friendship with benefits?

You break the kiss and pull away from Hakoda blushing furiously.

Y/N: I'm ashamed that we have the same blood, you mentally retarded idiot!

You return to your ship and kick your brother because he collapsed from laughing so much. While your ships are moving away you look at Hakoda who seemed to want to swim to you.

Hakoda: You can't kiss me and walk away like that!

Y/N: Then come and get me my love!

You giggle at his disappointed look and at Bato who tries to hold him in place. You hope that you will see each other again someday and that maybe, just maybe, you will be able to continue what you started without your annoying brother bothering you.

Let's say you had a big surprise when you snuck into Boiling Rock to help your brother escape and that Hakoda will not lose you again. This world is far too dangerous for a fire lily like you.

You were just an ordinary child from the Northern Water Tribe. Your father was one of the priests of La and your mother was a housewife like the vast majority of women in your tribe.

You had a happy and fun childhood until one evening when your father came home strangely happy.

As a child, it seemed strange to you to see the man as cold and rigid as a piece of ice smiling.

You became anxious when you noticed that your mother was trying to mask her anxiety with curiosity.

Soon your father revealed that Chief Arnook wanted you to start having play dates with Princess Yue.

Apparently, Master Pakku/Yagoda had praised your waterbending and intelligence.

The Chief thought you would be a beneficial influence for his daughter

At first you were happy, you understood too late that your father only wanted to use you to gain influence over the leaders.

You met the princess the next morning.

In the beginning, you understood each other very well, even if she was a bit shy.

You became friends and started to love Yue more and more.

She was adorable, always waiting for you with cakes and excited about any idea you had.

When you got into trouble, she did everything she could to save you from punishment.

The first time you noticed that Yue wasn't as perfect as you thought she was was when you skipped a play date.

It was a friend's birthday and you had completely forgotten about the princess.

Chief Arnook was not happy and came to your house to talk to your father.

Yue had cried all day and refused to eat or get out of bed.

Of course, your father went absolutely crazy and punished you. He tried to slap you in front of Yue's father but your mother made you promise not to be selfish anymore.

That upset you. Were you selfish? No way! Now you didn't want to see Yue anymore.

You had no choice, so the next day you apologized to the princess and her father. But from then on, you started not enjoying Yue's company anymore.

She noticed that you no longer treated her with such warmth as before and tried to flatter you by giving you gifts. You told her to give up, which disappointed her.

She tried to subtly threaten you by telling you that your fathers will not be happy if she is sad.

You told her that you don't care and that you'd rather spend your time looking at your ceiling than looking at her.

That made her bite her lip and burst into tears.

You felt horrible and thought you were too mean to her.

You hugged her and she told you about how she was born sick, she was blessed by Tui and her father was too protective and didn't let her have any friends.

Now you wanted to dive into the ocean because of the shame you felt. Not allowed to have friends? This is so bad.

You continued to be her friend out of pity, even if sometimes she freaked you out with her jealousy and protectiveness, you were sorry to leave her alone locked in a boring palace.

As you grew up, you thought more and more about marriage and how you would be able to forget about the palace and your father.

Unfortunately for you, the others had other plans. So you were engaged to the princess.

You felt that the spirits liked to make fun of you.

Then came the avatar and his two companions.

Let's just say the whole tribe exploded when Master Pakku saw you trying to teach Katara waterbending.

Yue looked half ready to pass out and half ready to kill Katara with her bare hands.

Who did she think she was?! How dare that girl come into her house and steal the love of her life?!

Did I mention you were born to create drama?

When Katara confronted Master Pakku you defended her and spoke out against your sexist traditions.

You decided that it would be good to have the support of the princess, so you gave her a tearful speech about how you want to make a better world for her and for your mother.

Yue believed you the moment you mentioned your mother, she knew that you absolutely adored your mother.

Then came the siege and sacrifice of Yue.

The sadness you felt surprised you.

You shouldn't have been sad for Yue.

But you should have been saddened by the loss of your freedom forever because Yue was ready to have you both in life and in the spirit world.

For the love of a noble

You were not sent to war because your father was extremely rich and influential and did not want his child to join the war. Or maybe your father was part of the Order of the White Lotus and didn't want to risk your life for anything, but you weren't supposed to know that. Your life had been relatively boring. Your mother died shortly after your birth due to complications at birth. She had been the light of your father's eyes. After her death, your father swore that he would protect you no matter what. Also, your father realized that death does not bring anything good and what the Fire Nation brought to the conquered cities was pain, hunger and tears.You were kept as far away as possible from everything that meant war. No one was allowed to talk to you about politics, colonies or fighting. You were trained from a very young age in firebending, sword fighting and hand-to-hand combat in order to defend yourself. When Fire Lord Ozai sent the order that you were stationed at Boiling Rock to interrogate a special prisoner your father felt his blood freeze with fear and boil with anger at the same time. You felt a sense of freedom. You loved your father, but the old man was far too protective.

Arriving at Boiling Rock you were introduced to the new prisoner. You expected to deal with a deserter who had tried to threaten the life of a royal or a war criminal from the Earth Kingdom. Instead, you were tasked with interrogating a girl not much older than you. You were amazed to learn that the girl was the leader of the Kyoshi warriors. As soon as you were alone, you locked the cell door while Suki looked at you suspiciously. You turned to Suki with a silly smile and told her that you were honored to meet her and that it was amazing how she managed to achieve so much at such a young age. You started asking her questions about what it was like to grow up in the Earth Kingdom and what it was like to be a Kyoshi warrior. You stopped when you noticed her surprised look and rubbed the back of your head blushing.

Y/N: Sorry, I get excited too quickly. I am Y/N and I belong to the noble house (the name of the noble house). My family and I don't support the war but we can't do much because Fire Lord Ozai would execute us. You don't know this from me, but that man is really crazy. I think the only person crazier than him in the whole world is his daughter. You know what they say, the chip doesn't jump far from the trunk. I will pretend that I am trying to force you to give me information and you will pretend that you can hardly resist me. That way we will both win. What do you say?

Suki looks at the guard in front of her with interest. It was clear you weren't lying. She had never met a firebender with a heart as good as yours, much less someone from a noble family. After a few moments of intense thought, Suki accepted your plan. You bowed respectfully in front of her and quickly left the cell. In the following days, Suki observed you closely during the hours when she was allowed to leave the cell. You really were an amazing person. When the other guards weren't looking, you often helped the inmates to carry out their tasks, you tried to make sure that everyone had enough clean clothes, sanitary items and especially food and water. You were a fierce fighter, especially when you used your bending. When you demonstrated your firebending techniques in the prison yard, even the warden seemed impressed. Suki soon realized that she had fallen for you. How could she not? You were too good for this world. Your only flaw was that you often drew too much attention to those around you. For example, you were now being approached by a female guard while Suki was trying not to pounce on her and tear her apart. Angry, Suki went to her cell. That daughter of a bitch! How dare she touch what belonged to her?! It was clear that you two were made for each other. Then Sokka entered the cell in disguise. Suki thought it was you and kissed him. But Sokka gently pushed her, took off his helmet and said that he had already found his soulmate. Although Suki was upset that it wasn't you, she was glad that she didn't have to break Sokka's heart. Sokka was still her friend. They agreed to help you escape, with or without your permission.

When Princess Azula arrived, you were tasked with giving her a tour of the prison. Let's say someone had a new admirer much to Suki's anger. Why do you always manage to get into so many problems?! Unaware of Suki's growing anger you were flattered by the princess's strange but sincere praise. She was truly insane, but you were sure she was the most talented firebender who ever lived. Azula will never recognize but she thinks you're pretty amazing. She had heard of your talents and besides, you were the most handsome person she had met. Considering your noble blood, the princess was sure that you were a match for her. Together you will rule the world forever! Oh, you will have such powerful heirs! This thought made the princess give you a look that in her mind was seductive. In your mind, you were sure that she knew something she shouldn't and that she was trying to threaten you with her looks, but that a mosquito-fly got into her eye in the process.

As you escaped, more or less being kidnapped by Hakoda on Suki's orders, Azula and Suki gave each other death glares. Both girls knew that this was just the beginning of the battle for your love, whether you liked it or not.

How many years had passed? 3 or 4? You didn't even know anymore. The town where you hid was suspended in time, it seemed as if the 100-year war had not existed. This state was due to the lack of resources that made it unimportant both for the Fire Nation and for the Earth Kingdom. People were peaceful and welcoming to the rare visitors who ventured into their corner of the world.Although you appreciated the kindness of the townspeople, you always complained to Agni about the endless monotony. Every day you went to the market, then to the school where you worked as a teacher, then home.

It was a new day and you had just gotten out of bed. Confused, you looked out the window and noticed that the Sun was not yet in the sky. You were sure you heard a child crying. You slowly left the house and looked at the street. Not far from your house, a small child is staring in amazement at a boy no older than 12 years old. You thought it was just Li and his younger brother Taro and that the two of them were sneaking into your house to play a prank on you. Remembering that the last time they did this you lost an eyebrow you headed towards them wanting to scare them.You threw yourself at the older boy managing to immobilize him and pull his hat off his head to pull his ears. Both you and the boys screamed. The two were scared of you and you were scared of the blue arrow that adorned the head of the young man in your arms. The Avatar! You knew Agni hates you! If he is here, it means that the Fire Nation is not far away! You quickly send the smaller boy to his house and push the avatar towards your house.

Y/N: what are you doing here?! You're crazy?! The Fire Nation will destroy the whole city to find you!

Aang: Um, me and my friends stopped by to get some supplies ma'am..

Y/N: my name is Y/N, I'm one of the teachers in this town. I will help you stock up, but as soon as you do, you and your friends will leave. We have a deal?

The boy approves energetically and then bows respectfully. Y/N helps him cover his arrow and then they leave together for the market. There they meet two panicked teenagers dressed in Watertribe clothes. Y/N sighs, no wonder the Fire Nation always finds these kids. They don't even bother to change their clothes to blend in better with the crowd. The teenagers run towards the avatar looking suspiciously at the y/h/c woman. Y/N quickly explained the plan to them. She quickly buys them a good amount of food and other goods that could be useful to them on their journey. Then the woman offers them a bag with a reasonable amount of silver coins. The children hug her gratefully but she tells them that she is just trying to do her part in winning the war and advises them to run away quickly. You agreed to help them carry the supplies to their bison to make sure they would actually leave. There you met a small girl dressed in the clothes of the Earth Kingdom who seemed on the edge between panic and anger. The girl comes towards you and taps her foot accusingly.

Toph: what took you so long?! we have to leave quickly! The crazy princess and her even crazier friends are close. i feel the komodo rhinos approaching.

Y/N: Azula?! Run away from here immediately!

In a few minutes, the bison rises to the sky, and the noise of an angry Komodo rhino pierces the silence of the forest. The y/h/c woman tried to run away but it was too late as a circle of blue fire surrounded her.

Azula: what else do we have here? who are you peasant?

Y/N giggled bitterly. She takes a deep breath in her chest and turns to the princess.

Y/N: let's just say I'm not exactly a peasant my dear

The princess's face falls to the ground. All of a sudden, more expressions appear on her face than she has in years: insecurity, amazement, sadness, anger, happiness. The older woman looks at her with a broken smile and opens her arms in anticipation. The young woman throws herself into her arms and gives her a tight hug. Y/N sighs and returns the hug.Ty Lee and Mai also arrive and look at the scene in front of them confused. Then they analyze you and finally recognize you. Ty Lee quickly runs towards you and tries to join the hug but Azula angrily pushes her away then hugs you again. Y/N gives the girls an apologetic look and orders them to set up camp. After a few minutes, Azula moves away from you and begins to interrogate you. You sigh, feeling like you're talking to the old Ozai, this girl doesn't know how much she really resembles her father. But you hope that she will not go down the same path of destruction that her father decided to go down. You stop her talking with a wave of your hand. She blushes slightly and then regains the dangerous calm that is so characteristic of Fire Nation nobles.

Y/N: let's just say I needed a break from all the stress of the Palace. I have no excuse for my actions, and my only regret is that I felt like I left you alone. I know Zuko had Iroh, and your father deserved to spend some time and rethink his actions. But, I'm afraid that Ozai applied the tactic of blaming any other people besides himself.

Azula: You're saying my father was the reason you left? But why? He did nothing wrong!

Y/N: let's say that the two of us had some adult arguments. You are too young to understand, believe me.

Azula: I'm sure you'll sort everything out when we get to the palace.

Y/N: that's all I could wish for.

The journey to the palace was fast and tiring. Azula was getting more and more impatient with each passing day. If at first Y/N thought about a possible escape, an idea she gave up because she didn't want to hurt the three girls, then she reconciled with the idea that she would at least have a chance to roast Ozai a little for the Agni Kai with Zuko. Someone has to take the place of Ozai's heart until she returns from vacation, that is if she didn't die with Lu Ten. Y/N was starting to think that the second option was the most plausible of the two.

Arriving at the palace, Ty Lee and Mai went to their rooms and Azula hid Y/N in her rooms. Y/N tried to rest but that was almost impossible with all of Azula's talk. Y/N had already noticed from the trip that no one had paid attention to Azula, only to the wonder princess. The good part was that now Y/N knew everything that had happened in her absence. The bad part was that the only way Azula knew how to show her affection was to report all the useful information and do anything else despicable to get recognition. Okay, maybe there was another bad part. Azula had become worryingly paranoid, Y/N had noticed how Azula tentatively smelled and tasted her food before letting her eat, how she eyed the guards suspiciously, how she seemed to check on her every few minutes to make sure she hadn't disappeared.

After a few days in which Y/N tried with all her might to make Azula a little more relaxed, the day of truth arrived. Now she was outside the Fire Lord's chambers waiting for Azula to leave so she could enter. Azula had insisted on breaking the news to Ozai but Y/N didn't want to risk that psychopath venting his anger on Azula because of her actions. Azula left the room and told Y/N she could come in. Y/N stopped thinking and entered. Ozai was sitting at his desk reading a scroll. He didn't even bother to look up and said boredly:

Ozai: I hope you have a very good reason to bother me, Minister of Agriculture

Y/N: I look like an old man struggling to walk without a cane, Ozai?

Ozai gets up from the desk and for a few moments looks at the woman as if he saw Agni before him. The woman rolls her eyes but bites a sharp remark from her tongue. There are more important things than her pride at stake. She knows Ozai and knows that he is not extremely difficult to handle if you know what strings to pull. Ozai approaches her like a predator who doesn't want to lose his prey. She looks at him the way the old dragon tamers looked at a wild dragon. Yes, if she has to die, she will die fighting because she is a firebending master and is no longer afraid of burning herself.If the price to protect Azula and the rest of the world from this monster is her life, then she will pay it with a smile.

Saw that requests were open and was wondering if you could do a yandere Katara x Aang prompt. I like the idea of Katara being really possessive with Aang.

Aang is 21 years old and Katara is 23 years old

After the kiss in Ba Sing Se, Katara and Aang's relationship had progressed very quickly. Katara absolutely adored Aang but his fans exasperated her to the point where she wondered if Aang would still love her if she killed a few stupid girls. During that year she had received a series of insults that had made her lose her cool and take out her temper on poor Aang. Of course, she knew she was older than Aang, but there was only a 2 year difference! That didn't make her too old for him! The worst part was that Aang just chose to ignore them and made no move to really reject them. Katara sometimes thought he liked all the attention he was getting. That led to tonight's argument. Katara and Aang had to attend a party organized by King Kuei. Everything was perfect until a noble girl, who had more paint on her face than they had on the walls of their guest room from Katara's point of view, decided to make advances on Aang right in front of her. The girl, named Gye Shen, had come to their table and started thanking Aang for everything he had done for the world while running her fingers over his chest. Katara had started giving them death glares. Seeing his girlfriend's condition, Aang tried to get away from Gye but fell off the chair and landed on the floor. Gye pretended to help him only to stumble, with the courtesy and talent of an Ember Island actor, and land on top of him. Katara angrily stood up and pulled Gye off her boyfriend by pulling her hair. The girl started screaming and crying and people started looking at them. Aang stood up and tried to calm the noble but Katara got even more angry. She punched her boyfriend in the face and left, starting to cry.

Aang was stuck for a moment and then left to find his girlfriend. Now he had actually committed it! He frantically searched for her for half an hour. He had already started to lose his mind. If she had suffered something bad? He returned to the ballroom and started looking for her there as well. Maybe she had calmed down and turned to look for him. Suddenly the king of Kuei put his hand on his shoulder making him jump and turn around. But when he noticed that Katara had not come to him, he was disappointed.

Kuei : How is Master Katara feeling?

Aang: She's angry, I think. But why are you asking?

Kuei: Bosco and I found her vomiting in the garden, so we asked the guards to accompany her to the royal doctor's office.

Aang quickly flew to the doctor's office, more worried than ever. Katara had a very good immunity, she hadn't gotten sick since the storm! As soon as he arrived at his destination, he went inside, slamming the door. The doctor looked at him angrily but then put on a professional mask. Aang ignored him completely and went to the bed where Katara was sitting.

Aang: Katara, are you okay?

Katara: Oh! Now you care about how I feel?!

Aang: I'm sorry! You know I don't care about that girl! The only girl I care about is you my dear! Please forgive me!

Katara: then prove it! I swear on my mother's necklace that if you get close to another girl, you won't see us again!

Aang: us?

Katara: yes Aang, us. I was planning to tell you after the party.

Katara gently places her hand on her stomach. Aang's breathing stops and tears begin to flow freely. He takes Katara in bridal style and starts spinning with her, making watery giggles.He puts her down gently and sits on his knees in front of her, resting his head on her belly.

Aang: This is the best day of my entire life! We will be parents! We will create a new life! It's magical!

Katara sighs and strokes his head.

Katara: maybe now that we're having a baby, those desperate little girls will give up their cheap seduction tactics.

Aang: who cares! Katara, we're going to have a baby! Stay! we will have a child and we are not married! Sokka is going to kill me!

Aang pulls out a beautifully crafted bracelet and rubs the back of his head suddenly shyly.

Aang: To be honest, I was waiting for the perfect moment to propose. I know it's not a necklace, but I thought you wanted to keep your mother's. I made it and I hope you will like it! So, do you want to be my girl forever?

Katara: only if you want to be my boy forever!

Aang: I couldn't dream of anything else.

I think I wrote a little too much and that Katara is not exactly what you wanted, but I hope you will like it.
