Don't kill each other
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous: Hey hey! How about a request for Untamed where the reader is the twin (or younger sister) of Meng Yao who is involved in planning the murder of Nie Mingjue and Jin Guangshan along with her brother and Xue Yang. Meng Yao is very protective of her sister, always takes care of her and always wants her to be happy (heh, I adore protective brothers even though I don't have one XD). But Meng Yao does not know that his sister is in a relationship with Xue Yang, he is afraid to tell his brother because he believes that he might be jealous of Xue Yang because it was always her brother who protected her and now he will be replaced by Xue Yang. And she wasn't wrong in a way, when Meng Yao found out (he saw them too close together, heard them talking amorously to each other, etc...) and so he decides to interrogate them both, he asks his sister why she kept it from him...
Pairing: Xue Yang x Meng!reader
Word Count: 1.0k words
Warnings: dismemberment, death, threathening
Tumblr media
With a loud sigh, you leaned back against Xue Yang's chest. Your brother was god knows where, already an hour late to what was supposed to be your meeting time. Xue Yang threw his arm around you, pulling you closer to him as he placed a soft kiss on the crown of your head. His hand toyed with your hair, pulling at the strands ever so slightly to annoy you a bit. You just shoved him as you sat up, almost jumping from your seat as the door loudly opened. You moved to another seat instead of staying on Xue Yang's lap, sitting a bit more neater and lady-like than before. Your brother, Meng Yao, entered with a frown on his face, creating wrinkles in his forehead that you had grown so used to seeing.
"Who was it this time?" You asked as you spotted some blood on the bottom of his robes, but Meng Yao didn't answer. His frown did lessen a bit when he saw you, softly patting your hair. You smiled at him before embracing him, making the elder break out in a smile eventually. Xue Yang was fascinated with how easy you could change Men Yao's mood, but it made sense since you could easily do the same for him. It was a charm of yours, one easily used for manipulation if necessary and often used for it as well. Xue Yang knew this well enough, it is how you got his attention and how you got him to join Meng Yao's plans. Luckily, you were more true to yourself after getting to know him instead of pretending to be your fake self.
"So, who was it this time?" You asked again as you let go of him, looking at him while he sat down as well. Meng Yao shook his head before looking at Xue Yang.
"Why are you here?" His voice was laced with annoyance, you couldn't figure out why, and Xue Yang scoffed before turning and grabbing his back. It was quickly throw across the room, landing besides Meng Yao. He opened it before closing it again, closing his eyes as well.
"I needed him intact, not just his head..." "The ghouls got to him first, not my fault." Xue Yang said, shrugging as he leaned back in his seat. Both men seemed a bit too unbothered with the fact that there was a literal head in the bag. You, like any normal human being, didn't quite like to see severed limbs. So when Meng Yao dropped the bag and the head of whoever rolled out of the bag and to the floor, you immediatley turned away while trying to not gag. Cue both men looking at you with a worried look, Xue Yang being the first to check up on you.
Unfortunately for both of you, he forgot about your brother sitting an arms length away.
"What do you think you're doing?" His voice was laced with venom, clearly meant to scare Xue Yang in some way. It didn't work, but that didn't mean that Meng Yao would stop glaring. You slowly pushed Xue Yang's hand away from your arm, coughing softly as you tried to compose yourself. Xue Yang didn't stop his movement as he made you close your eyes before you heard shuffling, assuming that he was putting the head away from your sight. Meng Yao frowned as he watched how caring Xue Yang was being to you, unlike what he had seen previously. He picked Xue Yang because of the lack of empathy to humans, yet here he was as he treated you like you were the love of his life. At that thought, Meng Yao's eyes widened as he looked between the two of you. Somehow, everything clicked in seconds.
"You're courting?" He asked, voice even rougher than before as he awaited an answer from you. He didn't care for Xue Yang, only staring at you with a look of, what seemed to be, disappointment. And for you, that was the worst thing to receive from your brother. It pained your heart that your brother was disappointed in you, you fought every single day to not disappoint him in any way and yet here you were. You forced yourself to speak, telling him that was true with a stutter in your voice that you could not hide. Emotions flashed across your brother's face, something that not often happened as Meng Yao never wore his emotions on his face. It ended in an emotionless look, one that you could still read easily however. That was an expression that meant one thing, Xue Yang was going to die.
"Don't you dare." The second you said that, Meng Yao had already turned and pointed a sword to your boyfriend's neck. It pressed against his main artery, drawing a bit of blood that trickled down Xue Yang's neck. You rushed forwards, shoving yourself in between the pair while pushing the sword away safely.
"You can not kill my boyfriend-" Meng Yao twitched, wanting to lift the sword once again. "-Don't you dare." You pointed a finger at him and he sighed, dropping the sword rather dramatically.
"If she gets hurt-" "She won't. You know what I can do." Xue Yang answered, a bit too cocky for your liking as you elbowed him between his ribs.
"I can protect myself, so why don't you both shut up." You spoke as you stepped out of their reach, looking at the both of them before pointing a finger at each.
"Now get along." And with that, you walked out. They'd be fine, even if they fought.
As long as neither died, but you'd kill the other if that happened and you were sure that they knew that.

Tumblr media
Lan Xichen • 蓝曦臣
Lan Xichen is very perceptive to those he keeps in his inner circle, as he always wants to treat the ones he cares about the best. For his brother, the disciples, and for you: he really does keep one eye open on everything, for anything.
However you meet him doesn't affect him as he does not discrimination against any person for their status, body, or quirks. If you hadn't passed so well back then, he notes it, but still treats you like any another man. If you have passed for a long time, he doesn't clue into anything except you're a very attractive man. He's very open about how he sees you too!
As your relationship grows and your lives intertwine more on their own during the setting peace (rising storms), you finally come out to him while you both enjoy your favorite drinks in the Gusu dining hall. It's not the most private place, but everyone can tell you both are having a deep discussion by how concentrated you both were, and gave you a respectable space to talk.
Lan Xichen listens intently and takes a sip of his tea, and can only smile back at you as he begins to speak. "I am glad you've opened up to me about this. Thank you for trusting me."
Nothing really changes between you two (unless you bind, then he might become more doting) and Lan Xichen does enjoy caring for you personally after you start going out officially. If he just happens to kiss you first because he's just so happy, can you blame him?
Jiang Cheng • 江澄
He had no way to know or suspect anything unless you're the type to strip at random, and guessing from how he had to take a minute to himself later: he isn't perceptive or knows exactly what to look for here to begin with.
Jiang Cheng is very paranoid and you can tell it's from the recent wave of demonic cultivators villagers he had on his hands, and you can tell he's still thinking about them while you both relax in his home. He was doing reports and had stains of ink on the side of his hands, but gave you his time anyways.
He had always made time for you in the past and the both of you were a unit to not mess with while doing paperwork. He was a rock to proper yourself on, but even Jin Ling knows that you're a man sturdy enough to take Jiang Cheng's issues on your shoulders. Neither of you two dragged each other down, you've only grown as far as you know and you hope it stays that way.
When you tell him, he was leaning on your shoulder while you were behind his desk, and it just felt right to tell him here. "... I couldn't tell, to be honest. Everyone is built differently with different quirks, and thank for telling me."
Something changes when you get into the heat of action, but Jiang Cheng doesn't mention anything about your person at all. You suspect the blushing and the new hand holding afterwards might mean you made him a bit more open.
Jin Guangyao • 金光瑶
Paranoia runs under his skin like fire after he had rid himself of his son and ex-fiance as his own form of mercy, the horrors he thinks about. But something about talking to you and having a grounded setting brings him back from his spiral.
His life is not easy to let other people in to listen for, and he's very guarded of what he doesn't want others to know. Lan Xichen, an important person to him, doesn't know what happened at the Nie manor. His ex-fiance never knew his secrets outside of what a married man might have to share. He'll also take the hit to his name, especially with a divorce he won't even discuss with officials. But you seem to loosen his lips with how you take to him, almost like this was a prize for all the hardships he endured...
He has the largest power of the Venerated Triad and has many forms of official work to handle in-person. But you're a trusted individual and you've long been given permissions to be alone with him as you please. If he just so happened to treat his favorite man to a good lunch in a secluded area of the Lanling surrounding city, oh well.
Hearing what you have to say is the least shocking thing he's had to process in a long time. "You are still my favorite person, my dearest. This changes nothing, I assure you. Unless..." He flirts.
He's never going to fully be open until the end, but you'll eventually peel back his skin to see his skeletons. For now, he simply wants to kiss his boyfriend and continue to rebuild all that has crumbled.

Lovers from the past part 2
Tumblr media
GIF by whovian-on-ice
(THIS PEACOCK BOY NEEDS MORE LOVE AND I STAND BY WHAT I SAY.)
"A-Xuan, where are you off to?" Y/N's voice carried a note of concern as she observed her husband, Jin Zixuan, making preparations with his sword. The room was infused with a sense of anticipation, a tension that mirrored the unspoken words that lingered between them.
He turned to face her, a soft smile curving upon his lips as he met her gaze. "Don't worry," he reassured her, his voice a gentle caress that held the warmth of their shared history, "I'll only be gone for a few hours." With a tenderness that mirrored his words, he leaned down and pressed a kiss upon her forehead, his lips a fleeting promise of his return.  (author: we all know that's not true hehe)
Their son, Jin Ling, nestled in the embrace of his mother's arms, gazed up at his father with curious eyes. His chubby fingers reached out, brushing against Jin Zixuan's cheek as if to echo his mother's sentiments. A fond smile played on Jin Zixuan's lips as he gently rubbed his son's head, a gesture that held the weight of fatherly love and a promise to return.
"But Jin Ling's one-month celebration is today," Y/N's voice held a note of gentle pleading, her eyes a mirror to the heartache that tugged at her. "It's important for you to be there, as a father to share in this milestone for our son." Her words were woven with the threads of tradition and the longing for familial unity.
Jin Zixuan's expression softened further, a mixture of understanding and conflict dancing within his eyes. He reached out, his fingers brushing against his son's tiny hand before he gently cupped Y/N's cheek, his touch an unspoken reassurance.
"I promise, Y/N," his voice was a solemn pledge, a promise etched into the very fabric of his being, "I will be there. I will not let this moment pass without sharing it with our son." With a final lingering kiss upon her lips, he reluctantly left the embrace of their chambers, the echo of his footsteps a testament to the weight of his responsibilities.
As Jin Zixuan departed, his footsteps echoing in the corridors of his thoughts, he found himself traversing the landscape of his memories. Each step seemed to unlock a vault of moments he had shared with Y/N, fragments of happiness and laughter that had once painted their lives with vibrant hues. In the midst of uncertainty, he held onto these recollections, as if they were the fragile threads that could weave a tapestry of hope against the looming shadows of the unknown.
The scenes of their past played out before his mind's eye, he found himself transported to a moment that seemed to encapsulate the essence of their shared journey.
The air was charged with a palpable tension as Jin Zixuan and Y/N faced each other, their words held a pregnant pause with the weight of unspoken emotions. The silence was as thick as the moonlit night, a canvas upon which their inner conflicts painted themselves.
"I know you still love A-Yao," Jin Zixuan's voice held a mixture of understanding and vulnerability, a confession that seemed to bridge the gap between their hearts. "But do not blame me," he continued, his words gentle yet firm, "I am strongly against this marriage as well."
Y/N's gaze was averted, her fingers tracing patterns on her robes as if they held the answers to the complexities that enveloped them. Her voice, when it finally emerged, was a reflection of the truth that had been buried beneath layers of tradition and obligation. "It seems as though none of us wanted this marriage," she stated plainly, her words a raw acknowledgment of their shared plight, "as it was arranged by our parents."
A pang of sympathy tugged at Jin Zixuan's heart as he observed her struggle to meet his gaze. The words that followed were a testament to the strength that lay within her, a strength that was willing to accept the circumstances they had been thrust into. "I guess the best thing for us," her voice held a quiet resolution, a resolution that carried the promise of finding harmony amidst discord, "is to try to get along instead of living a life of misery."
And as the night deepened, casting its shroud over their conversation, Jin Zixuan found himself taking a step towards the door, his heart heavy with the weight of both their history and the uncertainty of their future. It was in that moment, as he began to turn away, that her voice reached his ears once more, a whisper that seemed to linger in the stillness of the room.
"But I will never love you," her words were a crystalline declaration, a truth that hung between them like a delicate thread. "A-Yao is my only love."
The echo of those words seemed to reverberate in the chambers of his heart, a reminder of the complexity of emotions that bound them together. He carried her truth with him as he stepped into the corridor, the memory of her voice an imprint upon his soul.
However, life had a way of defying expectations, and the unfolding days revealed a truth that Y/N could not have foreseen. As time drew her closer to Jin Zixuan, a shift occurred within her heart, the tides of her emotions ebbing away from the shores of her feelings for Jin Guangyao. It was a transformation that took her by surprise, a realization that brought with it a sense of guilt, for she had once promised her heart to another.
The bond that she had believed to be love began to unravel like the delicate threads of a tapestry, leaving behind a tangled mixture of confusion and understanding. The more she spent time with Jin Zixuan, the more she found her feelings for him deepening, overshadowing the emotions she had once harbored for his elder brother. It was a bittersweet revelation, a recognition that her heart was not bound by promises made in haste.
She wrestled with her own emotions, grappling with the weight of her shifting affections. Had her feelings for Jin Guangyao been nothing more than a mirage, a connection born out of shared experiences and mutual understanding? The notion tugged at her, a mixture of relief and uncertainty intertwined.
One evening, as the moon cast its soft glow upon the world outside, Y/N found herself in the presence of Jin Zixuan. The words she had longed to speak swirled within her, carried by a courage that was fueled by the truth she had come to acknowledge.
"A-Xuan," her voice held a quiet earnestness, her gaze meeting his as if searching for the answers that lay within his eyes, "I love you, and I hope you feel the same way." Her words were a vulnerable admission, a confession that bared the depths of her heart. "If you don't, that's fine," she continued, her tone a blend of acceptance and hope, "we can remain friends, and perhaps time will bring clarity to our paths."
Before she could finish her sentence, he moved closer, his presence a comforting anchor amidst the whirlwind of emotions that surrounded them. His lips met hers in a tender kiss, a kiss that spoke of unspoken emotions and a shared understanding that transcended words.
"I..." he began, his voice a soft whisper as their lips parted, the weight of his emotions mirrored in his gaze. "I like you too."
In that moment, as the moon continued its journey across the sky, Y/N felt the weight of uncertainty lift from her heart. The bond that had once tied her to Jin Guangyao had transformed, evolving into a connection that resonated with the truth of her feelings. And as they stood there, two souls on the precipice of a new chapter, they found solace in the understanding that sometimes, the heart could find its way even when promises had been broken.
As the time slipped away, the anticipation that had surrounded Jin Ling's one-month anniversary began to mix with an undercurrent of worry. The sun cast its golden hues across the landscape, painting a picturesque scene outside the gathering, yet within the heart of the celebration, there was an undeniable absence, a void that was carved by Jin Zixuan's missing presence.
Despite his absence, the celebration pressed on. The grandparents, uncles, aunts, and sect leaders had all gathered, their smiles and laughter a testament to their shared joy. Among them, Y/N stood, her eyes occasionally flickering towards the entrance as if hoping to catch a glimpse of her husband's arrival.
"A-Y/N," the voice of Madam Jin cut through the hum of conversation, drawing Y/N's attention. She turned to face her mother-in-law, her lips curving into a respectful smile as she prepared to greet her.
But Madam Jin's words carried a note of understanding, a hint of sympathy that resonated with Y/N's own unspoken thoughts. "It's Jin Ling's one-month anniversary," she continued, her voice soft and gentle, "no need for formalities."
Y/N's smile grew warmer, a reflection of her appreciation for the maternal understanding that Madam Jin extended. "Of course," she replied, a soft nod accompanying her words, as if they were both acknowledging the complexities that lay beneath the surface.
"But where is Jin Zixuan?" Madam Jin's voice held a tinge of concern, a concern that echoed the worry in Y/N's heart.
"He assured me that he would be here," Y/N's voice held a mixture of hope and unease, her gaze briefly averting from Madam Jin's knowing eyes. "There were matters that demanded his attention," she continued, her words chosen with care to shield Jin Zixuan from any potential judgment.
Madam Jin's expression shifted slightly, the frustration evident in her furrowed brows. "It's his son's one-month anniversary," she mused, her voice carrying a note of incredulity, "surely those matters could have waited."
Y/N's lips curved into a sympathetic smile, her gaze now focused on the other guests who had gathered to celebrate this milestone. "Of course," she agreed softly, her words a reflection of her understanding of the intricate balance between duty and familial commitments.
Amidst the mingling guests, a servant entered the hall, a hesitant expression etched upon their face. Their arrival was accompanied by a heaviness that seemed to settle over the room, casting a shadow over the festive atmosphere.
Y/N's heart quickened as the servant approached, and before words could be spoken, she already felt the gravity of what they carried. The news that fell from the servant's lips was like a thunderclap, jolting the celebration into stunned silence.
"Jin Zixuan was killed by The ghost general"
The words hung in the air like a lament, their impact rippling through the room. Shock reverberated through Y/N's veins, her thoughts frozen as if time itself had momentarily halted. The joy of celebration was abruptly eclipsed by the weight of tragedy, leaving Y/N standing amidst a sea of stunned faces, grappling with the sudden and profound loss that had shattered their world.
In that instant, the once joyous occasion was transformed into a gathering of mourning, a communal space where grief converged with the echoes of happiness that once filled the air. Y/N's heart ached as the realization settled upon her, Jin Zixuan, the man she had once loved and the father of her child, was now forever absent, leaving behind a void that could never be filled.
The news had struck Y/N like a physical blow, the words reverberating through her being as if they were echoing in an empty chamber. A feeling of nausea surged within her, an overwhelming sensation that threatened to consume her. She needed to see for herself, to confirm that it wasn't a cruel trick played by fate.
She ran, her feet carrying her outside and towards their chambers, her heart pounding in her chest as if trying to break free from the confines of her ribcage. Each step felt like a desperate plea to the universe, a yearning to wake up from the nightmare that had swallowed her reality. Her mind raced, torn between hope and despair, the memories of their happiness juxtaposed against the stark reality of loss.
As she entered the chambers that had once held their shared dreams and laughter, she was met with the cold reality that seemed to seep into her bones. The room felt both familiar and foreign, a place where their love had once flourished, now transformed into a realm of absence and ache.
And then, as if echoing the cruel irony of her thoughts, Y/N's eyes fluttered open. The transition from the dream world to her waking reality was disorienting, her senses adjusting to the soft light that filtered through the room.
Her heart raced as she took in her surroundings, her breath hitching as the remnants of her dream lingered like the tendrils of a fading fog. She was in her chambers, just as she had been in her dream. But the weight of the loss was no longer a mere illusion—it was her grim reality.
Her gaze shifted, and there, by her side, was Jin Guangyao. The sight of him was both comforting and perplexing, his presence a lifeline amidst the storm of her emotions.
"A-Yao," her voice was barely more than a whisper, a fragile thread that carried the weight of her grief, "is he really gone?"
His response was silence, an unspoken acknowledgment of the truth that hung in the air like a heavy shroud. And in that silence, Y/N felt her heart shatter anew, the pain of her loss threatening to engulf her.
Jin Guangyao's arms enveloped her, a gesture of comfort that she instinctively leaned into. Her tears flowed freely, a river of sorrow that seemed to have no end. She wept for the life they had shared, for the dreams that had been shattered, and for the future that had been stolen away.
In her anguish, Y/N didn't notice the slight smirk that graced Jin Guangyao's lips. His embrace was warm, his presence a balm to her wounded soul. As she sought solace in his arms, unaware of the hidden currents of his intentions, she was vulnerable to the comfort he offered, a comfort that was layered with his own agenda.
And so, Y/N wept in his embrace, her tears a testament to the depth of her sorrow. Little did she know, her pain was both a genuine expression of her loss and a pawn in a larger scheme, a scheme that Jin Guangyao had meticulously orchestrated.

Thinking about kissing food men 💕
Tumblr media
Yangzhou rice's face explodes into a blush whenever you kiss him. People who know that he is a food soul but don't know exactly what kind of food soul he is will easily mistake him for a ripe tomato from how incredibly red his face would become.
After dating for a long time, his blush never truly disappears, it only lessens as time goes by as he gets used to your kisses and sudden bursts of affection, even reciprocating them in his own loving way after he gets over the embarrassment. Oh, but don't think that he'll become immune to your affections one day. All you have to do is kiss him once, slowly pull away while twirling his hair in your finger before saying "I love you" with your whole heart and– man down man down!! Someone get Dumpling right this instant!!!
Tumblr media
Kissing Meng Po Soup is like falling into a sea of spider lilies. His lips are as cold as snow but are also as soft as silk, tempting you to deepen the kiss and allow him to wrap his arms around your waist, letting him pull you into a tight embrace before he falls asleep again with you in his arms. Even if you try to pull away, his scent is incredibly toxic, a deadly poison that pushes all thoughts to the back of your mind and whispers at you to fall asleep with him, to accompany him to a dreamland where both of you can stay and live happily ever after together.
"Hm… don't go, stay with me…."
It's hard to tell whether he was awake or asleep when he said that as your mind was already on the brink of unconsciousness.
Perhaps a little nap will help….
Tumblr media
If you get caught trying to kiss Toso Wine, he will immediately give you a bombastic side eye. Maybe even a criminal offensive side eye.
"What do you think you're doing? Have you finished memorizing all the common herbs used in medicine yet? You haven't? Then don't think of moving an inch from that spot until you can recall them all!"
In the blink of an eye, he turns his wheelchair and leaves the room at record speed, leaving you dumbfounded but too scared to move unless he comes back in and demands you to recite all the herbs right there and right now.
Unbeknownst to you, Toso Wine will be just outside the door, covering the lower part of his face with the back of his hand as his eyes glare holes into the floor below him. He doesn't need to look into the mirror to know that his ears look as if they were on fire, making the blush spread across his face turn even darker.
"Stupid." He curses under his breath, pondering on how to approach you and ask you to kiss him again without being too obvious about how much he craves your touch.
Tumblr media
Kissing Taibai Duck depends on 3 factors: time, location and how drunk he is.
The last one is especially, especially important. Drunk Baiya and not drunk baiya were two entirely different people so proceed with caution.
Depending on how drunk Baiya is, he'll either tease you about it or not even realize that you've kissed him. The latter only happens when he's incredibly intoxicated but if you try to go in for another kiss, he'll grab you by the wrist before swiftly placing his lips over yours, engaging a fiery kiss that ends with you feeling as if you were as drunk as the charming man smirking down at you. However, if he teases you and you try to move away, he'll panic and pull on your sleeve, asking you to stay for a little longer. If you agree, he'll grin and kiss you lightly, thanking you for staying by his side.
On the rare occasions when Baiya isn't intoxicated, your kisses become his new form of intoxication. His kisses aren't limited to just your face. Your hands, your legs, your neck… anywhere that he can possibly reach on your body is a place that he will kiss on. If you ask him to stop, all he'll do is chuckle and kiss your lips briefly before continuing– but not before cupping your cheeks and gazing into your eyes softly.
"If time could ease its relentless march when we’re together,
and hasten its plodding pace when we’re apart,
I could spend an eternity in your arms,
to savor love everlasting in my heart."

I was going to put in a romantic chinese poem for Baiya's part but all of em were too long for my liking so I took one from another website :') Got to brush up on my poetry skills if I were to write more Baiya stuff in the future
Update: Changed Taibai -> Baiya, changed Toso Wine -> Tusu Elixir

a small smile graces her features as she turns her dioxazine gaze to you. a sparkle appearing inside of her slitted pupils as she ascends from the couch and makes her way over to you. long, lean and dainty fingers finding a place on both sides of your face to caress.
“my dear.” she chuckles, slowly shaking her head, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear before pressing a small kiss to your earlobe. “you can take me out with you to the garden, and dance with me. and then after, the both of us shall retreat here and simply relax. i wish to be nowhere else but within that lovely, radiant presence of yours. truly.”
as her whispers tickle your brain, you feel her hands moving down your body and placing themselves on your waist to give it a little squeeze, before you are pulled into a big hug by the taller woman. rose perfume wafting off of her and her robes, rubbing onto yours and leaving her scent on you.
“but i will make dinner. i insist, it is a love language of mine, qin’ai de.”

AH JIU X VAMPIRE!READER - XU HUA.
PART THREE OF THE ARCHFIEND.
WORD COUNT - 2,732.
RATING - G+.
SUMMARY - when ah hiu leaves your company you are met with a strange man who knows of your past and your fears.
comments, likes and reblogs would be appreciated!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As much as you had wanted to be avoidant, you had aided Ah Jiu to pack his belongings, you hadn’t been the only avoidant one, so was Ah Jiu, even though the man was mute, he had barely looked your way but he was kind enough to allow you to help him, you wouldn’t have thought he’d have this reaction, hence you were the one who had taken him away from his extant home.
You had thought it was best to have breakfast before he left and during the moment you and Ah Jiu had eaten together, he hadn’t looked your way, factually, he had eaten a bit and had hesitated to leave the room, so you had glanced at him, capsized that things had to turn this way.
“Ah Jiu,” you sadly began, “it makes me upset that you’re ignoring me,” and toppled Ah Jiu had finally glanced at you, but he hadn’t signed anything with his hands, so you had sat up and put the objects you had used to eat down and gently reached for his hand. “I’m doing this for your protection.”
Frantic, Ah Jiu furrowed his eyebrows, evidently thrown, “I don’t need your protection,” he has signed and even though he had seemed disconcerted by your sentence, you were happy that he had responded back.
“I know that,” you whispered, spilled, “but I’m doing what is best for the both of us.”
“What had happened that night?” Ah Jiu curiously signed and secretive you had gently dropped your shoulders.
With your lips pressed into a thin line, you had watched the look on his face twist into sadness and suddenly you had currently felt upset, for him. “You need to go back home,” you worded out, “to your family, your family probably misses you.”
Ah Jiu knew you had meant well, and had stopped himself from arguing with you, agreeable, Ah Jiu had watched you get to your feet and leave the room, ruffled, the long-haired man had placed his hands against his knees as he fell into deep toppled thought.
Tumblr media
The sky had been coloured a dark azure pigment and the weather slightly cold, but right for the type of beast you were, it had seemed like the sky had threatened to rain, it held that greyish-blue afflict aura that would make you remain in your reading room for hours upon hours.
Presently, you had been beside Jia as Ah Jiu readied himself to enter the carriage that would direct him back to his home. Your arm had been linked with Jia and you had felt the way she had looked between the both of you, upset, she had gently pouted as she had reticently questioned Jie Hua’s intentions, and when Ah Jiu had completed to shove his belongings into the vehicle, he curved his body to you, as he silently pleaded you to get in with him, yet, sadly, you had twisted your gaze from him.
With a slight nudge, Jia had encouraged you to go to him, so you did, to his surprise, you had placed your hand against his arms and slightly pulled him close to you. “The both of us can send each other letters,” and gently, you had tip-toed to kiss his cheek and comforted, the man had brought you into a tight hug.
Upset, you had nestled your face into the crook of his neck as you could feel his hand softly rub your back, the gesture he would do when you slowly fell asleep in his arms and the gesture he would do after he had finished his rounds of pleasuring you.
You had gently shivered at his touch and gently kissed his neck before you pulled your lips to his ear, “it’s for the best,” you had whispered and slowly he had beckoned his head at your comment to gesture that he had understood your motive even though you hadn’t told him why you had done it.
Smoothly, he had placed his hand on top of your head, and your eyes had met, his eyes softly intense enough to make your knees wobble, but you had to remain strong, he could always take your breath away, perhaps that was the skill you would have when you were the most beautiful man.
He had then moved his hand away from the top of your head, and slightly smiled at you. “Goodbye,” he had signed and lightly you had pouted at his movements, you hadn’t wanted him to go, but if Jie Hua was correct about the story, you’d rather be safe than sorry.
Tumblr media
You wouldn’t have imagined that you would’ve become uncommonly miserable without the presence of Ah Jiu, as much as you had wanted to hide it, Jia could see right through you, as if you were strangely transparent. Mei Lin had left the moment she had heard Ah Jiu had returned back to his home and truthfully Jia had thought that the woman had a crush on the man.
“I think Mei Lin had a crush on him,” Jia lightly joked and assent, you had slightly curved your neck towards Jia as you had laughed about the truthful comment Jia had passed on.
“I already strong miss him,” you dully muttered, it had been approximately a week hence Ah Jiu had left and you had hoped the two of you were going to be able to send messages with each other but you hadn’t heard anything from him, of course, you had been first to send a letter and the week was about to end, perhaps you were being impatient, you didn’t know how busy Ah Jiu’s home life could’ve been so you had reticently encouraged yourself to be patient.
Empathetic, Jia placed her hand against your shoulder. “I know,” she muttered, “I can tell you do,” Jia said as she reached for your hand to hold to reassure you. “If you want him back, just say so and I will retrieve him for you.”
Taciturn, you had shaken your head. “I need to focus on not being with him.”
“What if Jie Hua was exaggerating?” Jia questioningly suggested and with the beginning of your response, you had smiled at her.
“I wish she did,” you replied, “the two of us fucked like animals,” you lightly snickered in memory, “but there were moments where I had wanted to sink my fangs into his skin and drink all of his blood.”
Surprised, Jia had listened to what you had said. “I’m thankful that you were able to hold yourself back,” she responsively answered and content you had laughed at Jia’s reply.
Tumblr media
You had wondered who had spread the word that you had not associated with Ah Jiu anymore, the number of marriage papers you had received in your letter box had over-whelmed you, when you had readied yourself for the current day you had hoped you would find a letter from Ah Jiu, yet you were encountered with what you hadn’t expected,, perhaps your time around Ah Jiu had made you forget that within this time, women were ushered and heralded into marriage, and currently you were a lone women with no family, but a lady, a name and servants, much money to your name and beauty.
Thus, you were an obvious target for money greedy and perverting men to scout.
“There’ll be a man coming today,” you awkwardly commented to Jia, there was one specific letter that had stood out to you, a man who had been strong about his intentions and the time he would arrive to your home, most of the time, there’ll be an exchange of letters before there was an actual meeting.
Confused, Jia twisted her view towards you, “who’s the man?”
“Xu Hua,” you responded just as you passed on the letter onto your lady, once Jia had held the letter in her hands you had vigilantly watched how her eyes scanned the wording, focused on the man’s spelling, just like you, Jia had observed that the man had been direct about his marriage proposal for you. “How dare he think he can just come into our home,” you bitterly worded out and unsurprised, Jia looked at you once more.
“He’s a man,” Jia answered and gently satiated you had scoffed. “Are you going to accept his marriage proposal?”
“Of course not!” You quickly exclaimed, squeamish of the thought of associating with another man who was not Ah Jiu. “I can tell the man is certainly not handsome, men who are direct like that are never good looking.”
Amused, Jia had returned you the letter. “So, if he seemed handsome to you, you would’ve accepted his marriage offer?”
“Of course not, and I cannot do that to Ah Jiu, imagine how he would feel learning that I was getting married after I in substance kicked him out of my home. I hate to imagine the look on his face,” you remorsefully muttered, “the look on his face when was leaving, now imagine this.”
“You’re in love my Lady,” Jia knowingly stated and reticent, you had nibbled on the bottom of your lips as you had silently agreed with her comment. Benign, Jia placed her hand against your shoulder, compassionate as she rubbed your muscle.
Not too long after, one of the servants had rushed towards the both of you, their face written with emergency which had aroused curiosity from both you and Jia. “Mistress [Y/N], sir Xu Hua waits for you outside.”
Surprised by his quick arrival, you had thanked your servant ere you had rushed out of your manor, Jia had quickly tracked your footsteps and the juncture you had pushed yourself through the currently opened doors, you had noticed that not too far from the entrance was a stately man, worn in all black. He had held a long glossed black cane with a silver head of an eagle as the belfry of the accessory, he had also worn a black top hat that had shadowed majority of his facial features.
“Lady [Y/N], the foreign heiress,” the man confidently greeted and curious you had gently beckoned your head in greet while you had watched him pull off his top hat, surprised, you had been stunned by the beauty of his features and lowly, you could hear the snicker from your lady Jia.
With your hands pulled behind your back, currently dismayed, your coloured eyes had examined the rest of the man’s figure. “You must be Sir Xu Hua,” you gently commented and content, the man had pulled himself closer to your build.
He had reached for your hand and elegantly you had allowed him to shake your hand and kiss your bare knuckles. Silent, you had watched his action and you could feel the mundane energy that had radiated from Xu Hua but what had confused you was the raw power that had beamed from him.
“You didn’t give the two of us to prepare for your arrival,” Jia candidly spoke and indifferent, Xu Hua had shrugged his shoulders.
“There’s no need for preparation when it comes to you,” Xu Hua frankly responded and humoured you had raised the both of your eyebrows.
“You speak like we know each other already,” you commented entertained by his confidence.
“I’ve heard of you and your beauty, along with the associate you no longer have,” Xu Hua forwardly replied and surprised by how fast word had spread, you had briskly turned to look at Jia who had appeared just as surprised as you.
The juncture you had returned your gaze to Xu Hua, you had pulled your hands in front of your legs, clasped with suspicion written all over your face. “You’re speaking of Ah Jiu, if I’m correct?”
“The farmer,” Xu Hua assuredly clarified and once more, the both you and Jia had exchanged looks.
Unimpressed, you fixed your vision to the dark clothed man, amiable to his presence, your eyebrows had narrowed. “Why are you so brash and bold about your marriage proposal with me?” You suspiciously questioned, moreover, alongside Xu Hua’s response, you hand wondered what other men had made their way to your home now that you were no longer accompanied by a person of masculine body.
“It’s a dangerous world,” Xu Hua responded, his voice raspy as he worked out his answer that had the two women furtherly unimpressed by the man’s intentions. “I can offer you protection.”
Confused, you had cocked your eyebrows. “Protection from what?”
Finally, Xu Hua had felt the dynamic between the him and you change, he smiled as he gestured his head towards the inside of your home. “It’s best if we speak inside.”
Insistent to learn what the man had spoken about; you had curved your body towards the direction of your home and held the upper hems of your dress as you walked up the wide steps that led to your door. With Jia and Xu Hua behind you, you had entered your home and impressed, Xu Hua had scouted the area with his observant orbs. You had led him into a meeting room and ordered tea for the three of you.
Jia had then guided Xu Hua to a seat just as you seated yourself against a chair opposite him, a miniature table had separated the both of you while Jia had quickly pulled a seat beside you, and with how close Lady Jia was with you, Xu Hua had immediately understood the bond you had shared with her.
Before he had spoken about what he had meant, Xu Hua had pulled a side of his upper suit and put his hand inside of his coat jacket as his hand fished for an object, silently, you and Jia had watched him surf for a commodity and the moment he had found what he had needed, his pearly teeth had gleamed just as he confidently pulled out a small velvet box that had a purple ribbon wrapped around it, and on top was a perfectly tied bow.
“For you,” Xu Hua commented as he passed the small box onto you, curiously, you had allowed yourself to take the gift he had given to you and quickly untied the bow that had helpfully closed the mini box together.
The material inside wasn’t new for you, but it was beautiful, a stunning silver necklace with a jade teardrop as the face of the accessory. “Thank you so much for the gift,” you kindly thanked, “but can you please explain what you had meant about the protection I’ll need?”
“Well,” Xu Hua beckoned his head, “if I begin the list of the danger of the world, I’ll start with the Earth itself, men, power, Andrei,” and the moment he had mentioned the last danger, you had paused, you had felt time itself freeze in time and a brief iciness in your body spread like wildfire.
Jia had noticed the reaction you had held and gently pushed herself forward, confused on what Xu Hua had been speaking about. You had crossed your arms speechless, lips pressed into a thin line. You had attempted to fight back the autopilot tears as you had tried not to crumble in front of Xu Hua, “[Y/N], he is coming for you, they’re coming for you.”
Without an utter from you, a servant had entered the room with a platter that had three tea cups and a medium-sized tea pot, the moment they had entered the room they could feel the death-like tension that had built up in the area while they were gone. “Take it back to the kitchen,” you had finally spoke and without question, the servant had rushed out of the room, and when they had left, you had pulled yourself to your feet.
“If you know Andrei, that means you know what I am and you know what I can do to you,” you boldly spoke, and slowly Xu Hua sat up on the seat he was offered, “I suggest you leave, Xu Hua.”
“My Lady, without a man---”
“Leave!” You threatened with a hiss, your contempt sharp and swift and your eyes red with glow, your canine teeth lengthened into abundantly pointed weapons, “Now!” You roared and without indecision, Xu Hua jumped to his feet and briskly escaped the area that would’ve turned into a cruel battlefield if he hadn’t left.

A predestined match
Tumblr media
You were one of Toph's students and also one of her best friends.
So when the Gaang decided to take a trip to Makapu Village for Aunt Wu to read Zuko, Suki and Toph's future, you were invited.
You didn't have high expectations but you liked to laugh at Sokka. It was clear that he hated that village with all his heart.
You arrived in Makapu in the evening and camped in the forest, and the next morning you set off for Aunt Wu's house.
She was happy to see Aang and Katara again and to meet the rest of you but she wasn't too happy to see Sokka again.
You laughed seeing how much hatred the two looked at each other and accidentally bumped into someone.
You apologized and helped the girl up from the floor.
You looked at each other blushing but were interrupted by Suki who was impatient to know her future.
While Aunt Wu was reading Suki's future, Meng brought you snacks. She congratulated Aang and Katara on their new relationship and winked at Aang. Aang blushed and Sokka chuckled.
You, Toph and Zuko started talking about superstitions and the supernatural. Although Zuko fully believed that there were signs foreshadowing certain events, you and Toph were skeptical.
your debate was interrupted by Meng who complimented your big ears which made you blush.
Your friends started to laugh heartily.
You thanked the girl for the original compliment and complimented her hair. She blushed and started playing with her tails.
You chuckled, in your defense the girl did seem cute.
You invited her to sit next to you.
While Aunt Wu was reading your friends' fortunes, you continued to talk to Meng.
Finally it was your turn.
Aunt Wu said you picked the love bone. You threw it into the fire, and the fire rose up to near the roof, which worried you a little.
Aunt Wu looked at the flames with a frown and told you that you recently met your future wife, that she is not a bender but has a gift given by the spirits.
When you left the room, you noticed that Aang was helping Meng spy on you.
You rolled your eyes at their silly excuses.
You looked at Meng with an evil grin and told her that a future fortune teller should be able to guess what's going on in the room without spying.
 And then it hit you.
Meng had received the gift of fortune-telling from the spirits and you had met her today.
Meng blushed and told you stammering that she knew it was you since she saw your ears.
Aang ran off to tell the others and you asked her out trying to look disinterested.

❪ ♡ ❫ ── jgy | choking ,
ugh, jgy getting off of the feeling of your pulse thrumming beneath his fingertips, your gulps and gasps, the way you cling to his wrist as his hands wrap around your throat and he pushes your head back into the bed so that he can fuck you harder. doesn't stop until you're rasping, with tears pricking at your eyes — sometimes he'll show mercy, if only to rip it all away again and leave you choking once more as he drives you to your high.
"such a pretty little thing," he'd coo, nails threatening to leave marks across your skin. "so good, so reliant, and all mine." oh, he adores your desperate little looks, how you splutter and cry and choke as you finally cum

Meeting an elf
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous: Hello! Requests are open so I'll take advantage! How would Xichen, Cheng, Guangyao, Xingchen and Yang react to a reader who is an elf? What would they think of her different face shape, different eye color, different ear shape, different fighting style and different language she speaks? (she might speak their language, but in her homeland she would speak her Elvish language) THX!!!
Pairing: Untamed boys x reader
A/N Looked up the Lan rules for this, did not know that the existence of Wei Wuxian added about 500 to 1000 extra rules to the original 3000. Definitely not surprised though, if anything I'm impressed.
Lan Xichen:
Tumblr media
Rule number (enter random number)
'Do not bully the weak, or make fun of others'
which Xichen takes very seriously
so meeting you does shock him, but he does not judge
(in all fairness, elves don't look that different from visuals seen in the show)
there is one thing that fascinates him most, which is the glow surrounding you
it confuses him, because he does not understand why it is happening at all
he is fairly quick in getting to know you
is a bit surprised that you are so happy to speak to him
gladly learns your culture and even tries to learn your language
the culture is fine, the language is actually impossible for him
even with how much he loves to learn, he is fairly quick to give up
well, quick is a loose term
give or take 3 months
for Lan's, this is quick to giving up
but loves to listen to you talk to him in your language
loves hearing you sing in your language as well or when you play music
that he does learn
harps are not that different from guzhengs in a way
so he matches his style to yours, and it honestly doesn't sound to bad
besides, it's a way to spend time with you
so overall, he's great
Jiang Cheng:
Tumblr media
now honestly, don't hate me for this
but I think he might be a bit off putting
he's not mean, just very judgmental
and he doesn't really hide that
he thinks you look weird at first
the pointy ears look weird and your eyes make him uncomfortable
not really, he just says that
because it actually fascinates him so much
he saw you once, sparring against Wuxian
his mother had disapproved, so he followed
yet he could not tear his eyes from your form
your style, unlike the rougher one he was taught, was elegant
to the point that you seemed weightless
you caught him staring multiple times, yet are confused as to why he remains so on guard and mean
one comment is the last drop and you lash out
it is necessary, really is
and it does also change everything
he actually talks to you
because you force him to sit down and talk to you
which finally reveals his true nature and train of thoughts
overall, he is interested
very focused when you reminiscence about your home
but he just needed a little push in the right direction
Jin Guangyao:
Tumblr media
you know the drift on this one
cause I don't sugar coat him
now, what your use is to him depends on when you meet him
before everything, he kind of just needs you as some kind of support (like Xichen is)
if it's after everything, it's more like the use of Xue Yang
which soon enough will also happen even when you meet him before everything
will first try to gain your trust, of course
acts innocent and sweet, compliments you and uses the fact that you're both outcasts
and it kind of works..?
eventually, when you're friends, he starts being more himself
small comments to others and how he wished that they fell from grace
and soon enough, he'll comment about wishing for their deaths
now you saw how they treated him, so you didn't really see wrong in those statements
once he notices that you're comfortable with such things, he starts suggesting
knowing full well that your fighting skills would make you unnoticeable and fast
you're appalled at first
which makes him orchestrate a scenario
someone tries to "attack" him and maybe even "kill" him
and you defend him, which end up in the other's demise
you kind of become an overprotective friend, in a way
Guangyao is sure to tell you who is a threat to him and who isn't
is not shy of lying to you
but all that aside, he is also interested in you as a person
or your kind, if anything
because having you on his side, has them on his side
will turn into an isolation friendship at that point
maybe not the best person to befriend
Xiao Xingchen:
Tumblr media
Let's say you meet before he goes blind
I don't think he cares in the slightest
he travels a lot with Song Lan and thus sees quite a lot of things
it is definitely not the most surprising thing to see for him
what is surprising is that you're not an evil being
unlike most different "species"
he's still wary of you of course
because you act different like people normally do, whether it being because of culture or just your personality
but he is still fascinated nonetheless
because he likes to know everything
in a good way
so he will ask you stuff
and be prepared, cause it will be a list to go through
his biggest fascination is your eyes
yes, ironic, I know
because it's not a feature that he often sees
if ever
you're ears, as pointy as they are, don't seem weird
he's seen other people with pointy ears before, just not like yours
if you have blond or red hair, he would also be completely enthralled with it
is kind of glad when you ask to join him and Song Lan
consults Song Lan, but it ultimately it ends up being yes
Xiao Yang:
Tumblr media
you meet before he gets involved with Guangyao
give or take, he's 16 years old (He's probably around 17 or 18 when the series takes place, just speculation though)
he's roaming the streets, looking for good victims to pickpocket
he sees you
you looked innocent enough, an easy target
so he creeps closer, hand reaching to your bag
he feels the material of a money pouch and slowly wraps his hand around it
then he's staring up at the sky
and his arm is awkwardly twisted in a position that was paralyzing the rest of his body completely
"You breath too loudly"
the tone is mocking him and he does not appreciate it in the slightest
but the slightest movement made pain shoot up through his body, so he just laid their
the sun created a halo around your head and your eyes were practically glowing thanks to their bright color
he's left in awe for a few seconds before he starts to trash in your grasp
you're kind enough to let him go, watching with glee as he jumped up
he was glaring at you before he walked off
when he sees you the next time, the day after, he wants to retry
so he takes a deep breath before holding it and approaching you once more
his hand grazes the money pouch once more before he is pushed backwards, falling to the ground with a loud thud
you just smirk at him
he tries a third and even a fourth time, but fails every time
yet you always show him that stupid smirk that never fails to send a shiver up his spine
he doesn't understand how you hear him coming, he's never had trouble before
it's the fifth time that he tries that he succeeds
so he runs off, he never runs
only to discover the pouch to be completely empty
he will run back immediately
does not say anything except for 'teach me'
he wants to get better at pickpocketing and your fighting style intrigue him

Heartless remembers every single thing about you. Your favourite color, your favourite food, your least favourite time of day, what you ate for lunch last week, how many nuts you still needed to farm for the next food soul– he knows it all like the back of his hand.
Being the young master of the Meng Po manor has taught him a thing or two about being observant. Although his mother is an amazing woman, she tends to be more on the forgetful side, a side effect from brewing her infamous Meng Po Tea for centuries by herself. Thus, the responsibility of keeping note of everything important and unimportant falls onto his shoulders.
However, even he can tell that he's been observing you far too much. Why does his attention always turn towards you the moment you enter the room? Why does his gaze always wander to your side even when there are more important matters in front of him? Why does his chest swell with an aching feeling that grips where his heart should be whenever your eyes meet his whilst he is spacing off?
He didn't have an answer to any of those questions, nor did he ever want anything to change seeing how bright your smile became whenever he was attentive towards you.
“How did you know that I've been craving these cookies for a while?”
You blink owlishly at the basket of cookies on your table, poking it with one finger to make sure that this wasn't an illusion conjured up by your empty stomach.
Heartless stops, pondering on how to answer your question. In the end, he simply shakes his head, letting a small smile surface onto his lips.
“I don't, I just know.”
