My Review For The Moulin Rouge Broadway Cast Album (PT 1) — Song Analysis
hello, hello, hello! i know this news is probably long overdue, but yes, i did listen to the moulin rouge broadway cast album.
also, I’M BACK AND COMING AT YA WITH ANOTHER SERIES Y’ALL!
here's a rundown of the parts in this series called, “my review for the moulin rouge broadway cast album”:
part 1 (this part) — a song analysis... basically a one sentence description of my feelings for each song on the album (and maybe some other things that stood out to me)
part 2 — show/album differences... a list of differences from the show and the cast album and a list of what i wish they included in the album
part 3 — my pet peeve... an explanation of why i get mad at the people who say they “hate the cast album”
SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO — HERE IS THE FIRST PART OF THIS SERIES!
overall, i do want to say that i thought the album was amazing. i know some people beg to differ, but i guess my opinion comes from a perspective of watching the movie, watching the broadway show, and then listening to the album. but we’ll talk more about that in the third part, so lets just focus on this part... shall we?
welcome to the moulin rouge: “lady marmalade” is a bop, tam singing “so fresh, so clean” makes me swoon, “burnin’ down the house” is my new mood, and the ensemble of moulin rouge is insanely talented.
truth beauty freedom love: harmonies are on point, aaron singing “we are young” is beautiful, and the mashup of “children of the revolution,” “royals,” and “we are young” gives me chills every time i listen to it.
the sparkling diamond: the instrumentals are so rich and full and karen olivo is a freaking queen.
shut up and raise your glass: three bops in one song, the mashup at the end is iconic, aaron’s clear voice when he sings “i wanna dance with somebody” actually kills me. THIS IS MY ALARM SONG LOL.
firework: karen’s version is better than the original... fight me.
your song: although i’m not sure how i feel about turning this song into a duet, aaron’s vocals are so subtle and absolutely gorgeous and i imagine he’s singing this song to me.
so exciting! (the pitch song): i wish they kept “let me see your ass” in there, but this song is still hilarious and i can still remember everyone’s awkward faces at the end of this number when i saw the show last month.
sympathy for the duke: again, tam mutu makes me swoon and makes the duke likable.
nature boy: AN UNDERRATED SONG!
elephant love medley: contrary to some people’s opinions, i liked the mashup of so many different songs. i like the contrast between the love songs christian sings and the anti-love songs satine sings (until she gives in). more on this in part 3, but i feel like you have to physically see this scene to understand it.
backstage romance: ricky rojas is a king and robyn hurder is a queen, the beat drop in “toxic” is epic, and i still get chills near the end because that’s when they throw aaron across the stage. when i’m listening to this song as i’m walking to class, i try to imitate the pose aaron does at the very end and i get weird stares from people in the street.
come what may: two powerhouse belters makes the most iconic duo ever and my favorite part is “there’s no mountain to high, no river to wide” because the harmonies are gorgeous.
only girl in a material world: tam mutu makes the duke likable part 3. also the fact that tam is singing a rihanna song makes my life complete.
chandelier: the syncopated beat at the beginning is genius and once again, the ensemble is so talented. this is also a number you probably have to physically see before making judgements on it.
el tango de roxanne: AARON’S HIGH BELT! do i need to say more?
crazy rolling: definitely the best song of the whole album. when it transitions from “i can die when i’m done” from “crazy” to “throw your soul through every open door” from “rolling in the deep,” i’m usually in tears.
your song reprise: the fact that i know the exact moment in the music when satine dies kills me.
finale (come what may): when the ensemble joins in with my favorite part (”and there’s no mountain to high...”) i’m basically sobbing. so to all my friends who listen to this album with me in the future, you have been warned that i’m legit a mess when this song comes on.
more more more! (encore): hahaha i remember when my friend and i were listening to this song for the first time... i freaked her out because i knew the all the choreography at the end from seeing so many videos of the encore.
so, that’s it for this post! now i’m gonna go listen to this album all the way through again!
LOOK OUT FOR PART 2 SOON, CHICKENS!

then, i went to eat lunch at a dining hall. they were playing music over the intercom/speaker system and i swear to god, “chandelier” came on and i shed some tears haha.
i’m taking it that this is a sign that TOMORROW will be the most exciting day ever.

I Saw Moulin Rouge On Broadway (PT 3) — My Review For The Show!
welcome to part tres (three) of the “i saw moulin rouge on broadway” series! as listed in my first part, this is the last post of this series but i may or may not have more parts coming. ;)
but let’s focus on this part — my review for the show. i will be breaking this down into different subcategories: principal actors/actresses, musical numbers, costume/lighting/set design, choreography, and my overall thoughts.
so let’s do it!
⚠️ ANOTHER SPOILER WARNING! AGAIN, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! ⚠️
principal actors and actresses
aaron tveit as christian — aaron was phenomenal. i’m probably just saying that because he’s my one true love but i swear he was born for this role (as the new york times even said). aaron has been in so many different things such as catch me if you can on broadway, les mis on the big movie screen, and graceland on tv. but this show has to be the best project he’s ever been in. his tenor (and godly) voice fits the songs super well and his acting (especially at the end of the show) is absolutely breathtaking. his high belt has improved so much throughout the years he’s been singing and his performance showcases that improvement.
karen olivo as satine — i’ve heard mixed reviews about karen’s portrayal of satine. some people like her portrayal and other people think she was cast wrong for the role. i, however, liked karen’s portrayal. in the movie, nicole kidman portrayed satine as a damsel in distress who was very uneducated about love and living life out of the moulin rouge. but karen portrayed satine as a grown woman who wants to escape the life she’s living, making her portrayal focus more on the central conflict of love. both portrayals are correct (and nicole kidman praised karen olivo for her performance), but i just prefer the way karen portrayed satine.
danny burstein as harold zidler — danny portrayed harold as mysterious but intriguing and it was literally perfection. he brought you to the edge of your seat throughout the whole show and he nailed the entertaining and comedic aspect of his character.
tam mutu as the duke — tam honestly made me like the duke a tiny bit lol. in the movie, the actor has a weird looking mustache and isn’t that attractive in my opinion. i think it’s because the duke is supposed to be all power and money, while christian is supposed to be all love and looks. but tam was clean cut and professional looking (i mean, i love aaron with all my heart but damn he looked fine) and he let his character’s actions speak for itself to make him “the villain.”
ricky rojas as santiago — i loved ricky so much! the sexy and intense take on the character combined with being able to portray the craziness side made him perfect for the role. i also love how he’s british. and his dancing and chemistry with robyn hurder (nini) was incredible.
sahr ngaujah as henri de toulouse-lautrec — sahr (and ricky) portrayed the “two most interesting men” very well. they were able to act as the crazy bohemians of france, but they were also able to channel their emotional and intense side when the plot line thickened and got more climatic. the one scene that stood out to me with sahr was when he told aaron (christian) to go back to satine (who had just kicked him out) and tell her he loves her, something toulouse didn’t do and regrets it. it was one of the more serious moments in the first act and i appreciated it.
the lead ensemble members (satine’s girlfriends) — each one of the ladies had a different personality and they all helped satine with her conflicted feelings and her sickness throughout the show. one person who really stood out to me was robyn hurder who played nini “legs in the air.” she was the most amazing dancer and she portrayed the sexiness of her character very well. and as i mentioned in ricky’s review, her chemistry with him was so good!
musical numbers
i enjoyed the music. to be honest, i never thought i wanted my favorite broadway actors to sing trashy pop songs for two and a half hours until i experienced it. this 👏 is 👏 the 👏 content 👏 i’ve 👏 needed 👏 for 👏 so 👏 long 👏!
i’ve heard so many people say things about how the audience laughs every time they sing a song that’s familiar to them, but i took that as an audience problem and i admit that i laughed when i heard songs i knew. the whole idea of the show is a creating a satirical comedy to tell a love story through popular music. and when you have aaron tveit and karen olivo busting a move to “raise your glass” by pink and “never gonna give you up” by rick astley, it’s a shocker and sometimes you can’t help but laugh because it’s so unexpecting.
my favorite musical numbers were “chandelier,” “roxanne,” and “rolling in the deep.” i liked chandelier because the staging was really cool with christian playing a game of tag with satine who appears as the “green fairy.” everyone is trying to hold him back in order for him to forget about her, but he is so in love with her that he pushes them aside to try and get close to her. i loved “roxanne” because aaron’s high belt was amazing (ugh bless that high belt) and i was tired of hearing ewan mcgregor’s voice with no vibrato (though his acting in the movie was top notch!). also aaron’s emotions were amazing and robyn was incredible as the central dancer. and i liked “rolling in the deep” because of the emotions. during that song, satine is getting sicker and sicker and is on the verge of dying while christian is heartbroken and is buying bullets to later threaten to kill himself.
“roxanne” had some controversy because some people didn’t like the way it was sung. again for me, i enjoyed the way it was staged. i loved the movie version because there’s so many scenes going on at once, but there’s only so much you can do on a live stage. i also used to agree that aaron sang “put on the red light” one too many times, but i recently heard the original version of “roxanne” by the police, and they do the same thing so i guess they decided to stay true to the original version of the song.
overall, i was skeptical of how they were going to cut the musical numbers. i looked at the list of songs they were going to sing and i was nervous that they would mash up the songs together and it would be bad, but the songs actually flowed really nice with each other.
costumes, lighting, and set design
the costumes were absolutely stunning. satine’s sparking diamond number was extravagant and i honestly do not understand how karen olivo can be 43 years old and pull of the lingerie look (like damn!).
the lighting was so cool to see live onstage. lots of spots were used and it was cool to see how they used them to show different scenes going on. there were some surprising special effects with the lighting throughout the show which made it even more spectacular. the vibrant and bright neon lights added on to the spectacle, but the lower hue of red helped keep the lighting in a sexy tone for the cabaret setting.
the set design went hand-in-hand with the lighting. right when you walk in the theatre, you get a feeling of being in a cabaret club. they also paid homage to the movie by adding an elephant, windmill, and neon signs.
choreography
if moulin rouge doesn’t get a tony nomination for choreography, i’m throwing hands! the choreography was jaw dropping. the best number for dancing was the “bad romance” and “toxic” mashup that opened act two. this is the song where aaron has the big lift where he’s launched across the stage, and yes, it’s amazing to see live. this is definitely a show where all the ensemble members are just as important as the principal characters, as they are dancing their hearts out onstage throughout the whole show. sonya tayeh (the choreographer) did an amazing job with creating a balance between the sexiness of cabaret performing, but the energy of a broadway spectacle.
overall thoughts
i honestly loved the show. it’s important to know that you can’t see moulin rouge expecting to be moved by a storyline. the ending did make me cry, but it doesn’t make everyone cry. it isn’t a gut-wrenching plot line like dear evan hansen, but it can still move people and it still teaches a lesson. act one is more comedic while act two is more serious and dramatic. the main reason you should see this show is because it’s a spectacle. from the opening number, all the way to the end, there’s nothing but high energy and liveliness.
--------
remember, this is my opinion on the show and although i am putting it out there to tell you guys that it’s amazing and (in my opinion) the best show on broadway, it shouldn’t define anyone’s thoughts fully. the only person who can define your true feelings on a show is you, and the only way you can determine those feelings is to see the show yourself.
if you’ve seen the show please feel free to comment on my review, but please respect my opinion and i’ll give you the same respect. if you haven’t seen the show, feel free to submit any questions in my inbox... i’d love to answer them!
--------
i’d love to continue this series, so i’ll try to figure out what else to post. if you guys have any suggestions, please (PLEASE!) comment them!
SEE YA LATER, CHICKENS!

I Saw Moulin Rouge On Broadway (PT 2) — My Fave Moments!
welcome back to my “i saw moulin rouge on broadway” series! in this part, i will be listing my favorite moments of the show!
⚠️ WARNING: this post will contain spoilers of the story of moulin rouge and some of the changes that the broadway production has made. PLEASE READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! ⚠️
so without further ado... here is a list of my favorite moments of moulin rouge on broadway:
the show starts before the show starts — all of the performers come out onstage in their costume and character one-by-one. they are all doing different things and interacting with each other in their character. it’s like you’re watching people at the real moulin rouge.
aaron tveit’s (christian) epic entrance — i sat in the 2nd row behind the small strip of stage. i can’t speak for anyone else who has seen the show in a different seat, but i had a breathtaking moment when aaron appeared onstage. i think i explained it in my last post, but i was casually talking to my mom and i glanced at the stage to see what other performers had made their way onstage. that’s when i saw aaron (aka the love of my life) standing on the small strip of stage like 2 feet away from me. he came out of nowhere for me, so i was very surprised to casually glance up and see him right there.
“lady marmalade” and the opening act — omigod you guys! the opening act was absolutely incredible. “lady marmalade” slaps and it’s even better to hear the ensemble members and supporting cast members show off their voices and dance moves. i thought it was interesting that they opened the show at the moulin rouge rather than christian starting to tell his story (like they do in the movie), but it worked out really well. changing the opening act really helps the audience get a feel of the environment and it also hypes the show up a lot.
henri and santiago trying to finish “the sound of music” and aaron’s “entrance” — y’all, i cannot listen to “the sound of music” ever again without laughing. the whole show is a satirical comedy by telling a story that is set in 1899 through popular music. obviously “the sound of music” hasn’t been created at that time, so when henri and santiago are trying to finish the phrase “the hills are alive...” i couldn’t help but laugh. aaron then comes in and finishes the phrase, singing “the hills are alive with the sound of music...” with his gorgeous vibrato (ugh swoon) and it’s the best thing ever.
aaron’s little dance when he sings “never gonna give you up” — this whole scene was hilarious, but the way he presents “never gonna give you up” is the most adorable thing ever. i watched him explain this scene multiple times when he did his 54 below concerts and he always did a funky dance and a rick astley impression when he got to this part of the scene, but he actually did that onstage. i thought he was just doing an impression and a funky dance because he was trying to explain that he didn’t think this moment was funny (btw it was vv funny), so i wasn’t expecting him to do the same thing onstage.
“royals” and “we are young” — okay, i literally forgot how much of a BOP “royals” is and aaron’s high belt and riff down in “we are young” (more specifically when he sings: “so let’s set the world on fiiiiiRE, we can burn briiiiightER than the sUUUUUUn”). that’s all i have to say.
karen olivo’s (satine) entrance — again, i can’t speak for another person who saw the show in a different seat, but karen’s entrance was a big moment. karen is on a trapeze/swing and she comes down from the ceiling of the theatre, landing on the small strip of stage. from where i was sitting, i could see her legs and feet dangling above me and i was like, “HOLY S**T!”
“single ladies” — karen olivo is a queen. beyonce is a queen. therefore, it was a queen singing a song by a queen. what more can you ask for?
satine mistaking christian as the duke — hahahaha this was so funny when harold (the guy who owns the moulin rouge) is pointing out the duke, but satine is clearly looking the other way. lowkey, i couldn’t chose between either of the guys... i love aaron with all my heart, but tam (the duke) is also pretty attractive ngl.
christian and satine’s first interaction and the dance mashup — christian was literally so adorable and cute when he was all nervous and flustered talking to satine. honestly, i could see a little bit of aaron’s real life shyness come out during this scene and i loved it. the dance mashup was amazing and it was the first true mashup of the show. i loved the parts they decided to mashup like the lyrics “shut up and dance with me” being sung at the same time as “slam, slam, oh hot damn, wish you’d just freak out.”
christian trying to pitch his song idea to satine — this has got to be one of my top favorite moments of the show. by this point, satine still thinks christian is the duke so she thinks she’s going to have sex with christian, but christian is there to pitch his song idea. so when christian says things like, “you might want to sit down because what i’m about to reveal is pretty long” and “i’m quite nervous, actually. i learned about this in school and i’ve practiced a lot today,” it adds a lot of comedy as it has a double meaning.
aaron singing “your song” — can aaron please sing me to sleep every night with that song? thanks!
satine realizing christian isn’t the duke — harold: “satine, i have the duke here” // satine: “the duke?” *looks at christian* “then who are you?” // christian: “I’M CHRISTIAN!”
pitching “spectacular, spectacular” to the duke — i loved this moment in the movie, and i still loved this moment in the broadway musical. i just think it’s the exact representation of my friends and i putting on shows, trying to find props and set pieces with the resources we have. also, the awkward pause at the end is the funniest thing.
christian, the sailor — when the group is trying to figure out who christian was going to be in the show, they ultimately decided on a sailor who "wears tight pants." one of the actors says, "show me your ass" and christian flips his tail coat up and shows off his butt. we were all blessed by aaron tveit's rear end.
the elephant love medley — there are so many songs packed into one mashup but it’s so good (WHEN DOES THE CAST ALBUM COME OUT?!). christian mimics satine’s movement (flicks his leg, puts his head in his palms) in a small part of this mashup and i was like, “aw... he’s flirting with her... how cute.” also, the UMBRELLA™.
“bad romance” and “toxic” mashup — this is by far the best dance number ever. like wow! when “toxic” starts, there’s a really intense rock groove to it and lots of intense lighting. if this show doesn’t get a tony nomination for choreography, i’m throwing hands.
aaron’s launching across the stage — this happens in “bad romance” but i feel like it deserves it’s own bullet point. i knew this lift was coming, but my parents did not. when it happened, all three of us (my mom, my dad, and i) had our jaws dropped.
after the “bad romance” and “toxic” mashup — after the end of the number, the audience is going wild but the line after the applauding dies down is, “okay! i have some notes!” it’s funny because they are in rehearsal in the show, but the number is also the show (if that makes sense lol). also, there’s a line that goes, “we might have to change some of the lyrics like, ’gaga, ooo la la,’ what does that even mean?” which is literally what i’m thinking.
“come what may” — aaron and karen are both super talented singers and i’m blessed to hear them sing this song.
harold and the razor — this part was hilarious omg. so, they are in rehearsal for the show and harold is supposed to say something like, “i’ll cut you with my razor.” the first time they go through this scene, harold doesn’t have an actual razor prop to work with and he complains about it. then, it transitions to christian and a gun scene where christian has a prop gun in which harold has some words to say about. the next time they rehearse this scene, harold brings in a razor and he goes, “with my razor! HAHAHA razor!”
“only girl in the world” — i was not expecting the duke to sing this song but it was great lol. they changed the lyrics to, “i’m gonna make you feel like you’re the only girl in the world,” so it worked with the male’s perspective.
“chandelier” — this was one of my favorite numbers in the show. i thought it was really cool how they incorporated the green fairy as an alcoholic drink (i think they smoked the drug in the movie, but i’m not entirely sure... someone correct me on that if i got that wrong haha), and they used “chandelier” to correspond with the scene. also, christian still envisions satine as the green fairy and it’s such a powerful moment as people are trying to hold him back, but his eyes are focused on the fairy/satine.
“roxanne” — despite the opinion going around that the broadway show ruined the song, this song still remains my favorite in the show. i agree that aaron sings “put on the red light” one too many times, but i’m a sucker for an intense tango number and aaron’s high belt (god, aaron’s high belt is out of this world and it kills me!). also, aaron’s emotions were spot on and the dancing (done by robyn hurder) was incredible.
“crazy” and “rolling in the deep” mashup — ngl, this moment almost made me cry. during this scene, satine already “breaks up” with the duke as she is still in love with christian. but christian was forced to leave because satine had to lie (saying she didn’t love christian) in order obey the duke’s orders and avoid danger. so this is definitely a really intense number because christian is giving up as he is loading his gun (that he uses as a prop in the show) with bullets and satine is getting sicker and sicker with consumption. at the end of the number, christian holds up his gun (like alexander hamilton lol) and satine holds up her bloody handkerchief that she has been coughing into.
the surprising plot twist at the show — instead of the duke chasing christian around the theatre and trying to shoot him at the performance of the show, like they do in the movie, christian points the gun at himself in the “razor/gun scene.” that makes satine sing “come what may” as she knew that the gun was loaded and christian was threatening to kill himself because he believed she didn’t love him. this is when the tears started coming for me.
satine dying — karen olivo died. aaron tveit cried over her body. yes, ofc i was bawling my eyes out.
finale/curtain call — just how the show started out, the show doesn’t end when you expect it to end. there’s about 5-10 minutes more of spectacular dancing and a final mashup of the popular songs they sang throughout the show. also aaron does a can-can kick line and it’s probably the best thing you’d ever see in your life.
overall, this show is a spectacular ;) show and i want to see it again. honestly, it might be the best broadway show i’ve ever seen. there is never a dull moment and you’re on the edge of your seat the whole time... whether that’s if it’s from a dramatic climax or from the amazing dancing and musical numbers. please, if you get the opportunity to, go see this show! you won’t regret it!
look out for part 3 soon — SEE YOU LATER, CHICKENS!

SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO... HERE IS PART ONE OF THE "I SAW MOULIN ROUGE ON BROADWAY" SERIES!
my parents and i were in nyc from monday, august 5th, 2019 to friday, august 9th, 2019. i asked my mom in march to get moulin rouge tickets once they went on sale because i knew the good seats would sell out pretty fast.
-
on monday i got to be a part of the studio audience for stephen colbert's late night talk show, on tuesday my parents and i saw ain't too proud, and on wednesday we saw the cher show.
-
finally it was thursday aka moulin rouge day! before the show, my parents and i sat in bryant park. then, we got schmackary's cookies and we headed to the theatre.
-
once we got in the theatre, i went to the bathroom, my mom bought some merchandise, and my dad found our seats.
-
for those of you who haven't been in the al hirschfeld theatre, it's a strange stage setting. there's the big main stage, but there's a runway that connects to a small strip of stage in front of the main stage. i sat in the second row behind the small strip of stage.
Tumblr media
without giving a lot of the surprises away, the best thing i can say is that the show starts before the show even starts. i don't want to spoil it for anyone who is planning on seeing the show, so we're just going to leave it at that.
-
nearing showtime, i was casually talking to my mom and i looked up at the stage to see what was going on. and right there on the small strip of stage, about two feet away from me, was the one and only AARON TVEIT!
-
i freaked out and squealed. my mom, who only knows aaron as tripp vanderbilt from gossip girl, also freaked out and i'm pretty sure that's the moment when she figured out why i love him so much.
-
anyways, the show was well... SPECTACULAR! ;) i never knew i wanted to hear aaron tveit and karen olivo singing trashy pop songs for 2 and a half hours until they had sung trashy pop songs for 2 and a half hours.
-
after the show, i rushed out to the stagedoor (obvi!). i got to meet a lot of the ensemble members, including robyn hurder (nini) who was an incredible dancer, and morgan marcell and max clayton who i've seen in bandstand. i also got to meet ricky rojas who played the sexy argentinian tango dancer who falls in love with nini (robyn).

aaron and karen didn't come out which is understandable because they had another show to perform in that night. they were probably squeezing in showers, naps, therapy, and eating in the short amount of time they had before call for the evening performance.
-
since aaron didn't come out and i wasn't sure if my parents would let me stagedoor after the evening performance, i took a picture of the pillar with him on it in front of the theatre.
Tumblr media
so then, my family and i went to the empire hotel for dinner because i was also on the gossip girl trip lol. the empire hotel is the hotel chuck bass owns on the show. it's also the hotel where serena vanderwoodsen (blake lively) and tripp vanderbilt (aaron tveit) met and where they made out in an elevator. WE LOVE ICONIC MOMENTS IN TV SHOWS!
-
after we had dinner, my mom went back to the hotel. i asked my dad if we could go back to stagedoor the evening performance of moulin rouge because i had a feeling aaron was going to come out. my dad said yes, and we started to walk aimlessly around nyc because it was 2 hours until the show ended.
-
after walking around nyc, we went to the stagedoor about 30 minutes before the show was over. the stagedoor guard opened the door to go inside, and they were right at the end of roxanne so i got to hear aaron's high belt again (bless!).
-
finally, the show let out and it was time to focus on the stagedoor opening and seeing who comes out.
-
about 10 minutes later, the stagedoor opened and out came AARON TVEIT! everyone cheered for him and he started to make his way down the line.
-
he took his time with signing autographs, taking pictures, and talking to his fans. and i did get to see him brush his hair back with his hand and i just about died (tbh i was already deceased after seeing him in the show lol).
-
when he got to me, i told him how i became obsessed with him in grease: live and how i was surprised to see him in gossip girl (though i never mentioned that a couple of hours ago, i was literally in the hotel where he made out with blake lively).
-
he smiled and said "thank you" ever so sweetly and he blushed. aaron is actually kind of shy and he's very modest, despite the fact that he's everyone's broadway boyfriend.
-
we took a quick picture (photo credit to my dad). i asked for a hug, but he had to kindly decline because i don't think security would allow him to (big sad).
Tumblr media
besides aaron, i met sahr ngaujah who played henri de toulouse-lautrec (one of the two "interesting men") and jeigh madjus who played baby doll and is a drag queen in this show.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
overall, the experience of seeing the show and meeting the actors/actresses was a ton of fun, but hella tiring. i got to meet the love of my life, aaron tveit, but man... it took a lot of energy to profess my love to him haha!
~~~~~~~~
i'm so happy i get to share my story with y'all — look out for parts 2 and 3 soon! peace out, chickens!
