Request by anon: Hey, can i request a series or one shot with Jensen x actress/singer reader, where the reader is very famous actress and singer that work in Marvel as Black Widow, Game of Thrones, TVDU, etc and Jensen loved her and always are talking about her in set without knowing that she is Gen Padalecki best fiends and Jared Padalecki friends and Jared tell her all Jensen said about her so she was casted as a new character who is Dean love interest without him knowing and in the end they end together and have kids?

Summary: You're a famous actress that's been in lots of movies and TV shows. Jensen has a huge crush on you and doesn't know that the newest person to be hired onto Supernatural is none other than you.

Author’s Note: just pretend that each of the shows/movies she's been in took place one after the other instead of going on at the exact same time.

Jared and Jensen have a few minutes alone before their panel. Jared is snacking on whatever they provided them with while Jensen is sitting on the couch browsing on his phone. Jared has his wife on FaceTime as he is stuffing his face, and she laughs at the food dripping from his mouth.

“Baby, why can’t you eat normally?”

“What? I’m hungry,” he says, more food spewing from his mouth.

“Our kids eat better than you,” she chuckles.

“Jen, tell her I eat normally.” Jared turns to his friend but Jensen isn’t listening to a word he’s saying. He has one of his Airpods in watching a video. “Are you guys coming to the panel?”

“Yeah, we’re just exploring right now.”

“Hi, Daddy!” Odette smiles and jumps into the frame.

“Hey, sweetheart. I’ll see you soon, okay?”

“Okay. Say bye!”

All three of his kids say bye just before Gen hangs up on him. Jared finishes eating his snack before walking over to his friend. He takes a seat next to him to see what video he’s watching and smirks when he sees you on the screen.

“So, what do you want to do when the panel is over? What section of the convention do you want to visit?” Jared asks knowing Jensen isn’t listening.

He’s too invested in the video of you doing press for your new Marvel movie. You play the elusive Black Widow in all of the Marvel films, and you just got done filming your own solo movie. You’ve done some press for the movie even before it comes out to prepare people for what to expect and things of that nature.

“You’re obsessed with her,” Jared chuckles.

“Shut up, I’m not,” Jensen barks. “I’m just an admirer of her movies.”

“You have posters of her locked away in your collection.”

Jensen slaps his friend on the chest and continues watching the video. It’s true, Jensen has a major crush on you not only for Black Widow but for every role you’ve ever done. You’ve played Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, Katherine and Elena in The Vampire Diaries, and so much more. You’re such a talented person that acting is like second nature to you. You can do almost any role you’ve ever landed, and you’ve won a lot of awards for it which you’re proud of.

“Damn, look at her. She’s gorgeous,” Jensen says with metaphorical hearts in his eyes. Jared laughs and Jensen shakes his head. “I’m sorry, I have a major crush on this woman. What are you gonna do about it?”

“We’re about to do a panel. Come on.”

Jensen and Jared get ready to go out on stage. All their fans cheer for them when they make an appearance. Jared scans the audience to see his wife there with her phone pointed at him. He nods once and turns to Jensen knowing his wife is getting this on video.

“Alright, any questions?” Jared asks. A lot of hands go up in the air, and he points to the person whom Gen gestures. “What’s your name?”

“Elisa. I’m such a huge fan of both of you. My question is for Jensen. I watched a video you did talking about the actress Y/N. She just finished her movie Black Widow. Is it true you have a crush on her?”

Everyone cheers for this question but quiets down to give Jensen an opportunity to answer. His entire face reddens at the question and becomes extremely conscious of what he’s wearing, what he’s saying, and how he’s behaving as if you’re in the room.

“Wow, there’s a lot to unpack here. Look, she’s gorgeous, I’m not gonna lie. If she were standing in front of me now, I don’t think I’d form complete sentences. So, yes, I have a crush on her.”

Everyone laughs at how shy he’s becoming, and Gen looks at the person she’s on FaceTime with.

“He’s so cute,” you chuckle through the screen. “Very charming.”

You’re a really good friend of the Padalecki family. You met Gen through a non-profit organization she was funding a while back and became fast friends with her. She and Jared welcomed you into their family immediately but it was never known to Jensen that you knew them.

“Just wait until you meet him in person.”

“Isn’t it true that there is still an opening for that female character on their show?”

“Yeah.”

“I’m in between projects right now. I’d be happy to audition if you want to bring that to Jared.”

“I’ll have him hook you up,” Gen smirks.

“Is that Y/N?” Shep asks and forces his face into the frame.

“Hey, Shep,” you grin.

Supernatural is about to start filming its eleventh season which means the director is desperate to fill the role of Dean’s love interest. Jared brought you up as an option, the director had you audition, and you were offered the part before leaving the building to go home. Jensen still doesn’t know that you were the one who was offered the role, just that the position had been filled.

“Isn’t it a bit suspicious that we haven’t met this new person?” Jensen asks.

“Talk to the director, dude.” Jared gets a call from the director and answers it with a smile. “Hey. Are you here? … Perfect. I’ll be right there.”

“Whose that?”

“Gen is here. I gotta go. I’ll be right back.”

Jared leaves before Jensen can ask any other questions. He meets up with you and the director who is waiting for him on the other side of the set.

“Jared!” you grin and give him a friendly hug. “Working together is going to be so fun.”

You’re not sure how long you’ll be on the show, but you hope it’s going to last years.

“Is he ready?”

“He’s practicing his lines right now.”

Jared escorts you to the main set where Jensen is. He’s already in his Dean clothes since they are scheduled to film right now. His back is turned to you when you enter the room so you think this is the perfect opportunity to scare him. He is holding a prop gun and muttering his lines when you jump in front of him. He yelps and drops the gun as you let out an infectious laugh.

“What?” he stutters when he sees you.

“Hi, I’m Y/N,” you grin and hold out your hand for him. Jensen is a stuttering mess but shakes your hand nonetheless. “It’s nice to meet you.”

“She’s going to play your new love interest,” Jared says and slaps him on the back lightly.

“It’s going to be so much fun working with you.”

“Yeah, same here,” Jensen manages to get out. “Excuse me for a second.” He brings Jared off to the side to talk to him privately. “What the hell? Did you know about this?”

“Yeah, she’s a family friend.”

“How did I not know this?”

“I’m good at keeping secrets when I want to,” he chuckles.

“I can’t believe I’m going to be in the same room as her.”

“You’re welcome,” Jared smirks and pats his back.

Jared walks away just as you approach Jensen.

“I hope you’re okay with me being here.”

“More than okay,” he smiles shyly. I love your movies. You’re an amazing actress.”

“Thank you,” you smile. “I love this show. Dean just so happens to be my favorite character.”

That makes Jensen blush. Over the next couple of months, you’ve been filming with the boys as much as you can. It’s been nothing but fun especially when you participate in their pranks on Misha. You and Jensen are growing closer, more than you ever thought you would. He’s super nice, sweet, charming, and very sexy. He’s everything a girl would want in a man. This was inevitable, but you got to the part in your onscreen relationship where your characters share a kiss. He’s super nervous as are you since you both have feelings for one another.

“Dean, I don’t know why you’re bugging out. The hunt went exactly as planned,” your character says as you unpack your duffel bag.

“You got hurt. How is that exactly as planned?”

“We got the bad guy. Isn’t that what matters?”

“Not at the cost of your life! How could you think so little of it?”

“Dean, it’s just a scratch. I’ve gotten worse wounds than this.”

“God, you’re not getting it,” he scoffs.

“What? Please explain to me how you’re feeling.”

“It’s your life! No monster is worth that. You’re too important to me.” Jensen walks over to you and cups your jaw. The moment is so intense, so intimate. “I can’t lose you.”

“You won’t lose me. I’m right here,” you whisper.

You two stare into your eyes right before he smashes his lips on yours. He isn’t kissing you like how Dean would, he’s kissing you like how he would. The kiss is supposed to be short and sweet but Jensen keeps it going as long as he can. Your lips mold with his perfectly as if you were meant to be doing this your whole life.

The director yells CUT and Jensen pulls away from you slightly. He cheers at getting it on one take, and you step back from him with a nervous chuckle.

“Good job you two! Take ten everyone!”

“Listen, if you ever want to practice lines or… other things, you’re more than welcome to come to my trailer. You know, practice makes perfect.”

“I’ll make sure to take you up on that offer,” he smirks.

And practice did make perfect. After hearing the story of how you met Jenson yet again, both your daughters clap happily.

“Tell the story again!” your six-year-old giggles.

“Again!” your four-year-old laughs after her sister.

“Not tonight, girls,” you grin and kiss both their heads.

“Go to sleep. We’ll see you in the morning,” Jensen says.

You and Jensen leave their room and close the door gently. Jensen brings you into his arms and you wrap your arms around his neck.

“Landing that role has been the best thing to ever happen to me,” you whisper to him.

“You stole the words right out of my mouth,” Jensen smiles and kisses you.

Black Widow, Winter Soldier, and WinterWidow reading list

I made this list for another post, but I thought I'd put it here too.

Black Widow (1999) by Devin Grayson - Natasha's first solo. It's only three issues, and it's the start of modern Black Widow. It introduces important aspects of her character, like the Red Room. Yelena is introduced for the first time.

Black Widow (2001) by Devin Grayson - Another three-issue comic, which I thought was a fun read. It's a Natasha, Yelena, and Matt team-up comic. It's a part of Marvel Knights, which told more mature and darker stories so I have a soft spot for the 1999 and 2001 runs for this reason.

Black Widow: Pale Little Spider (2002) by Greg Rucka - Another three-issue comic. While not focused on Natasha, it's a Yelena solo. It's part of the Max comics line, which was an attempt to tell adult-only stories, and it definitely shows because Yelena visits a bondage sex club. A very important comic for Yelena.

Black Widow: Homecoming (2004) by Richard K. Morgan - I think this comic was extremely influential for modern Black Widow. A lot of her mythos originated from this comic. The movie took a lot of inspiration from this comic as well, like the pheremones thing.

Black Widow: The Things They Say About Her (2005) by Richard K. Morgan - This one is decent. It's not entirely important, but I think it's worth a read. A classic Black Widow story where Natasha is on the run and doesn't know who to trust. While it's overdone at this point, I think this was the first comic to portray it. Yelena and Matt show up in this one too.

Captain America (2005) by Ed Brubaker - VERY IMPORTANT. Bucky is reintroduced as the Winter Soldier and shows up in #1. While it's long, every issue is worth it. Natasha doesn't show up until #27, but #27-#50 is peak buckynat. This run is one of my fav comics of all time.

New Avengers #48-64, Annual #3, Finale (2005) by Brian Michael Bendis - Natasha isn't super important in this, and she barely shows up, but Bucky shows up frequently. I wouldn't say it's entirely important, but it's during Bucky's time as Captain America, and when he interacts with the Avengers, so I recommend it just for that. Also, I'm a little biased because New Avengers (2005) is probably my favorite comic ever.

Black Widow (2010) by Marjorie Liu - The best Black Widow story ever written. I don't think anyone has disliked it. 10/10, I always love to reread it.

Black Widow: Deadly Origin (2010) by Paul Cornell - A miniseries about Natasha's origin. Not entirely important, but it's a solid Black Widow story. Appearances from Bucky and Wolverine.

Captain America #600-619 by Ed Brubaker - Again, it's very important for both Bucky and Natasha. It's a continuation of Captain America (2005).

Captain America & Bucky #620-624 (2011) by Ed Brubaker - Pretty important. It's a retelling of Bucky's life. #624 is all about buckynat and how they met. A lot of iconic buckynat content that the fandom gushes over is in it.

Widowmaker (2011) - Not super important and Bucky isn't in it. A fun team-up story about Clint and Natasha with Bobbi. I enjoyed reading it.

Winter Soldier (2012) by Ed Brubaker - I cannot tell you how much I love this comic. It's the best Bucky's ever been written and I don't think anyone will disagree when I say that no one has ever understood Bucky like Ed Brubaker. Extremely important for buckynat.

Winter Soldier: The Bitter March (2014) by Rick Remender - I'm not going to lie; I don't really remember much from this comic, but I know people like it.

Black Widow (2014) by Phil Noto & Nathan Edmondson - Another popular comic for Natasha. It's probably my second favorite Black Widow comic after Liu's. Another Black Widow is on the run story, but Liho is introduced in this! Bucky is in #8, 15, 17-18. A must read.

Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Ales Kot - This isn't my favorite, but the art is absolutely beautiful. I don't think it's essential. Natasha is not in this.

Black Widow (2016) by Mark Waid - I enjoyed reading this comic. I'd rank it third after Liu and Noto. Bucky is in #9-10. Essential Black Widow comic.

Tales of Suspense #100-104 by Matthew Rosenberg - A Winter Soldier and Hawkeye team-up where they look for Natasha after she was killed by Hydra Cap in Secret Empire (no need to read it; SE is trash). A fandom favorite, and I absolutely love it. Winterhawk exploded in popularity after this run.

Winter Soldier (2018) by Kyle Higgins - Natasha does not show up in this, but it's very important for Bucky. It's a short five-issue miniseries, and it's probably the best Bucky has been written since Brubaker.

Black Widow (2019) by Jen and Sylvia Soska - It's a miniseries, and it's a fairly dark one. Natasha is back from the dead, and she's PISSED. Bucky doesn't show up in this one, but Steve does, and it's after her murder at Hydra Cap's hands.

Web of Black Widow (2019) by Jody Houser - Another Natasha miniseries where she's on the run and her friends are worried about her. Bucky shows up in #2 and #5.

Falcon and Winter Soldier (2020) by Derek Landy - A fun team-up comic with Sam and Bucky. Natasha doesn't show up. Not essential.

Black Widow (2020) by Kelly Thompson - It's...not great. Many people have already talked about what they didn't like, so I won't go over it, but it has some fantastic buckynat moments. However, I will say that I really love Natasha, Yelena, Clint, and Bucky teaming up in this comic. That group together is highly entertaining. It doesn't seem like anything from this comic will be paid attention to in the future, but I would still read it.

Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty (2022) by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly - Really trash. I didn’t like this at all. Bucky isn't written well, and I think Natasha shows up like twice. Skip.

Captain America: Cold War (2023) by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly - Another trash event. Skip.

Thunderbolts (2023) by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly - Buckynat FINALLY get back together after they broke up in Winter Soldier (2012). A boring comic otherwise.

Fighting for good, one widow bite at the time: Black Widow's cultural impact

Critics scoff when I call the Black Widow movie a favorite, but hear me out. It deserved a better release window, maybe at an earlier time, when things would've been viewed differently. Sure, it doesn't rise up what it could've been, leaving so much lingering dreams in the hearts of us, fans. So much potential remains untapped, so many questions unanswered... but Natasha Romanoff? She rises above it all. If you doubt her power, think again, and as I said, hear me out.

Black Widow, the assasin with steely eyes that hide and protect a heart of gold, has transcended the screen to become a cultural icon. From her first appereance in the MCU in Iron Man 2 (2010) to Black Widow (2021), she truly went through a lot, took us with her, and thaught everyone some lessons on the way.

Shattering the mold of the damsel in distress: She's no sidekick, she's a strategist and a fierce fighter. She is a vital member of the Avengers, that's a fact we saw in the 2012 movie. After all, how many characters can you name that tricked the God of Mischief? Nat didn't only do it exceptionally, she is the first we saw doing this on screen.

Reclaiming Narrative: Unlike many superheroes defined by singular origins, Black Widow carried the trauma of a dark past, manipulated by the Red Room, a notorious spy program. Her movie explored this narrative, acknowledging the exploitation and abuse she endured. This resonated with survivors of violence and abuse, offering validation and representation. Her journey of breaking free from her past resonated on a broader level, highlighting themes of resilience, empowerment, and overcoming hardship. Furthermore, she hasn't always been a hero, an avenger. "Regimes fall everyday. I tend not to weep over that, I'm russian" and "I've got red in my ledger. I'd like to wipe it out" show how she's not just using the power she already has, but has the power to change as well. This isn't about brute force, it's about internal struggle and choosing to become a better version of herself despite her history.

Sisterhood and Solidarity: Black Widow's story wasn't solely focused on herself. In "Black Widow," she teams up with other women who share similar experience, even if at first this doesn't seem to work, indoctrinated as they are in the Red Room programme. This depiction of female solidarity resonated with audiences, particularly feminist movements advocating for women's support networks and collective action.

Representation Matters: Black Widow's portrayal as a skilled leader and strategist challenged existing portrayals of Russian characters in Hollywood. They are often depicted as villains or stereotypes, but her complex identity sparked conversations about diversity and representation within the superhero genre.

Defying stereotypes: As the sole original female Avenger, Black Widow carried a unique weight. She didn't need superpowers or a revealing suit — her determination and arsenal spoke for themselves. That's true power. I mean, in some situations she only had two cool firearms, but did better than Captain America with a vibranium shield! I also love how her costume evolved over time, prioritizing functionality over sexualization. Ditching the impractical neckline in her solo movie? A much-needed win! It shows that Black Widow commands respect through her actions, not her body.

Her impact and importance punches like her combat skills, if you ask me.

So, the next time you see the Black Widow, remember, she's more than just a character. She's a symbol of strength, resilience, and the unwavering human spirit. Thanks for being a constant source of inspiration, Nat ❣️

"Oh my god, Pedri. You're really watching again The Queen's Gambit?" Fernando, Pedri's brother, asked him after sitting on the couch next to him

"Yes I am, what about it?" Pedri said not taking his eyes off of the TV

"You're obsessed with her, aren't you?"

"I'm not, she's just a good actress!" Fernando gave him a look raising his eyebrows "Ok, maybe I do am a bit obsessed with her. But she's Beautiful, have you given her a good look? Fucking gorgeous" Pedri shook his head "And don't even get me started on her look in Last Night in Soho... AND! During Black Widow? My goodness" Pedri groaned already picturing you in said movies "Also, there were a few rumors saying she's going soon to be appearing in CM, it'll be awesome to see her as a doctora"

"CM?"

"Chicago MED" Pedri replied almost instantly looking at his brother crazily for not recognizing the TV show "Si aparece ahí, me encantaría tener las mil y un enfermedades solo para que me cure" (If she's appearing there, I'd love to have a thousand sickness just so she could cure me)

"Tú estas loco" (You're crazy)

"Thank god, she talks Spanish too" Pedri says out of nowhere ", that way I wouldn't embarrass myself more than I would probably do if I ever get to meet her"

"What do you mean Y/N Y/L/N will be here?" Pedri asked in disbelief stopping his training to hear the gossip from Balde, Araujo and Ansu

"Yes, she's coming to Barcelona apparently she'll be filming a movie here so she's gonna stay for a while" Araujo explained

"And she's fan of the Barça so" Balde ended

"I know she's fan of Barça, you don't have to tell me things I clearly know" Pedri stated making Gavi laugh "Tell me more about this visit, that I didn't knew about"

"¡CHICOS!" They were interrupted by Xavi "It's not time to gossip, we've a Clásico to win!"

Pedri watched Ansu, Araujo and Balde run off not without telling them a quick "We'll talk later"

"What do you mean I'll be cooking in front and for Y/N Y/L/N?" Gavi, Ansu, Alejandro, Ferran, Araujo, Lewandoski and Ter Stegen laughed out loud after hearing the news and watching their friend's reaction

"Yes, she's coming to Camp Nou for a whole day, she'll see you training, we'll be giving her a tour and after that we'll be doing a video with her and you were the chosen one. That will make you both good" One of the staff said "Or if you don't want to do it, we can have Gavi or Lewandowski, they were also very asked for"

"¡NO, YO LO HAGO!" (NO, I'LL DO IT!) Pedri yelled surprising the poor woman, the guys laughing once more before he composed himself and added a quiet "I mean... I don't have any problem to do it. I'd love to"

"Okay, it's settled then. Next Tuesday, Pedri"

Gavi speaks up after the woman left "This is your big chance, bro. Meeting Y/N Y/L/N, the girl you've been practically in love with ever since 2019"

"What if I mess up? Say something weird? What if she thinks I'm crazy?"

"I don't think you can mess it up that much, Pedri" Ansu said shaking his head "She's a normal girl, you can do this, I mean... What's the worst thing you can do or say to her?"

"Be confident" Araujo said showing him a thumbs up

Next Tuesday

Practice had already ended, you had already met briefly the players and they were practicing while you were given the little tour around Camp Nou.

Also, while you were getting makeup done, Pedri was showering and getting himself dressed.

"How will I be able to not embarrass myself in front of her, if just by hearing her name I go like if I have a worm inside me?"

"That's a bit gross, dude"

"¡Joder!" Pedri turned around quickly nearly giving himself a whiplash and soon wished he hadn't.

You were standing there right besides him.

"Hijo de...- Ya la cagué" (Son of a... I fucked it up already) Pedri mumbled to himself but you laughed completely hearing him

"También hablo en Español, cariño" (I also speak Spanish, darling) You said giggling finding really cute his awkwardness.

Truth is that you absolutely loved Pedri and were also a bit nervous, he was your favourite player currently at Barça. And meeting him was like a dream come true.

"Don't worry about it" You said "You're my favourite player and I'm sweating my ass off too" He laughed out loud turning around to see you wearing a smile on your face.

"I'm sorry, you're just... Incredible" You blushed "Like, I've seen all of your movies and series"

"You're incredible too" you said "Like... I always see your matches and you never fail to amaze me" Pedri smiled feeling himself blushing at your words.

"Thank you, it means a lot"

"What are you cooking today?"

"Honestly, I don't know" You both laugh lightly "I just hope that whatever I'm making won't give you a stomach ache"

"You can't be that bad"

"The only thing I do great is serve a glass of water and burned rice" You laughed

"I trust you" You said smiling lightly "You'll do great" You showed your fist up, waiting for him to bump his with yours, when you were called to start recording

"God, she's so beautiful" Pedri mumbled but you still heard it

"Thanks. You're pretty handsome too" He groaned making you laugh. You were teasing him but at the same time you were waiting for him to lose his nerves and you, lose yours.

... ...

Pedri thought this was the worst and best day of his life, you were chatting with him while he was cooking.

Don't get him wrong, you're beautiful and chatting with you was easy, his nerves turned into excitement while talking. But also, the talking with you made it for him a bit impossible to fully concentrate in the cooking.

He just hoped everything tasted good. Or eatable.

"This is really spicy" You said taking a bite from the chicken and coughing up a bit "Like really, really spicy" The whole crew laughed and Pedri covered his hands

"I'm sorry" He said

"No. I like it, I just wasn't expecting that much" You pronounced That heavier making them laugh once more "But still this is delicious" you gave another bite to the chicken showing a thumbs up

"Rate 0/10?"

"9" You said inmediately "For those who say Pedri can't cook"

"Yo tambien lo digo" (I also say it) Pedri, himself said it in disbelief, you liked his food.

"Probablemente me de un dolor de estómago mas tarde, pero, por ahora está buenísimo" (It'll probably give me a stomach ache later, but, for now this is good)

"Esto ha sido Cocina en el Nou, si te ha gustado deja un like y sigue al Barça en todas las redes sociales" (This has been Kitchen in the Nou, if you liked this video leave a like y follow Barça in all social medias) Pedri said as you both waved at the camera

You stood besides him giving him a hug and soon the cameras stopped rolling only for the staff to bring you a Barça shirt.

It was your size with Pedri's name and his number 8.

"Thank you!" You said smiling. Both of you posed for a picture as Pedri quickly signed the shirt for you "It was a pleasure meeting you" You said hugging him once more.

It was almost time for you to go

"CanIhaveyournumber?" He asked quickly as you blinked a few times to recover from his quickness

"Pardon?"

"Can I have your number? It was really nice meeting you too and I would love to chat with you more, without cameras if you'd like" Pedri said.

You smiled

"Only if you take me out on a date"

"Only one?"

"You need to win me over, González. If you keep this moves up, you'll do it in a snap of fingers tho"

You didn't need to say it twice.

Propaganda under the cut

Natasha Romanoff

People frequently write her as a Sexy, Intimidating, and Competent piece of furniture; she exists to be mildly intimidating, but has no real desires or inner life of her own, and all of her actions in the story revolve around the main m/m pair. Meanwhile, the m/m pair thinks of her as a Close Teammate(tm) but never devotes time or emotional energy to what might be going on in her life.

usually in certain fics she often just gets turned into a wingwoman for Steve, or if the fic is Tony centric she often ends up being bashed because of the whole team tony/team cap thing.

Some of the best series Marvel has ever done were Black Widow solo runs. Unfortunately she was also Bucky's love interest at one point, and (before the MCU blew the fuck up) she was often fridged or villainised.

Peggy Carter

She’s a victim of Stucky mainly bc of the way marvel used her to give Steve an ooc ‘happy ending, but I know I’ve seen some posts calling her toxic or something it was 2019 so In CAT:FA, she’s introduced as a confident British agent. She has some chemistry w Steve Rogers (although more fans (on tumblr at least) preferred Steve and Bucky). She wasn’t just *woman who is strong*, but also had some emotional depth, with an actual range of emotion outside of angry and sad. She had a spin-off show, and she just continued to fight Russians and misogynists, even having chemistry in an almost wlw relationship and an eventual marriage to a famous shield agent. She went through character development and just was an awesome character. Then you know what endgame does? It has Steve Rogers travel back in time and take all of that development away. Most fans were mad at Marvel, and a lot were mad at Steve, but some fans threw Peggy completely under the bus, saying that they traded the (fanon?) queer ship/(canon) friendship for a bland love interest, which, um, she was so much more then that? I remember people really disliking Peggy, which isn’t fair to her character when she is/was so much more then that.

Peggy is vilified by people who ship Steve with his war comrade Bucky Barnes. I’ve even seen people claiming baselessly that she was secretly HYDRA the whole time.

She gets in the way of stucky which OBVIOUSLY gives people, most of them women themselves, the right to be ridiculously misogynistic. Dismissing her character arc, traits, presence in the movies and her part in Steve Roger's life, saying she is insignificant on the ground of very subjective readings is one thing, but outright calling her 'just some old coochie', among other colourful, wonderful things, is another. They also keep reaching to villainize her (saying she's a literal nazi which she's not) and cancel her so their ship is somehow made more valid for it, erasing the competition as it were.

Lightning Bug - Chapter 10

Warning: bloody nose, mention of a nightmare

Word Count: 3.7k

Cooper had to carry Nate upstairs after the credits started to play. The youngest Barton fell asleep halfway through the movie. Wanda kissed him on his forehead and Goodnight and see you in the morning were whispered so he didn’t wake up. Once his kids were upstairs and he heard doors close, Clint stood up and went to his liquor cabinet. “Who wants a drink?” He asked. Everyone raised their hand. Kate laughed and stood up to help her mentor.

“She’s a good kid,” Laura said.

“Eh Kate Bishop is a solid okay,” Yelena teased. A gasp from her girlfriend could be heard from the kitchen.

“Get yourself a drink, Belova,” Yelena laughed and went into the kitchen. Wanda knew Kate wasn’t joking about Yelena getting her drink. Laura smiled, shaking her head at the pair.

“I was referring to the newest member of the team,” Laura said. “She’s got a big heart.” Wanda had to admit she was worried about how the rest of the day was going to go when Nate unexpectedly hugged her. She could see the panic wash over the teen but she still managed to speak calmly to him. Natasha smiled.

“Yeah she’s been through a lot but she still managed to keep her heart,” Natasha said.

“Do you know more about what happened to her?” Wanda shook her head.

“She’s told us a few things but she hasn’t told us a lot of detail,” The witch was grateful that the teen was opening up so quickly. It took her much longer when she first moved to the tower. Kate and Yelena came back and handed a drink to Wanda and Laura.

“Look at the strays finding a stray,” Clint said, handing Natasha her drink. He sat next to Laura, throwing his arm around her. “I’m so proud,” he whipped away a fake tear.

“You are an idiot,” Natasha said but Wanda didn’t miss the smile on her face. Clint rolled his eyes.

“You love me.”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Yelena said. “You are so loveable, Clint Barton,” If Yelena wasn’t sipping on a drink, Clint would have thrown a pillow at her but there was a risk of spilling it on the couch. Kate put a hand on Yelena’s leg, squeezing it.

“Nat, are you ready for your mission?” Natasha sighed, taking a sip of her drink.

“As ready as I’ll ever be,” It was a simple recon mission with strict orders from Maria and Nick to not engage. The team believed Natasha would need only 2 days to get the information but Wanda knew this line of work was uncertain.

“Are you going solo or will you have a team?” The Black Widow glanced slightly at her girlfriend who nodded.

“I’ll have a team outside the city as a backup but,” she looked at the young Hawkeye. “Will you join me? I know it’s rather last minute.” Kate straightened up as she stared at Natasha.

“Me?” She questioned. “You want me to join you.” Natasha nodded. There was much debate between Natasha and Wanda and Natasha and Maria on who should join her. It came down to Yelena or Kate. But due to the nature of the people they were looking at Natasha didn’t want her sister near it if she could help it. Yelena instinctively grabbed onto Kate protectively. Her jaw was clenched.

“I need someone to watch my back or to go in and I watch their back. If it’s too late of a notice I understand.”

“No,” Kate said suddenly. She smiled. “We’ll talk at some point. I trust you.” Wanda didn’t have to read Yelena’s mind to know the blonde was worried.

“Awe my malen'kiy yastreb (little hawk), I’m so proud of you,” Yelena teased and pinched at Kate’s cheeks. The archer pushed her girlfriend’s hand away as her cheeks burned with embarrassment.

“Shut up,” Kate mumbled. Laughter echoed in the living room. Wanda sent a smile to Yelena. It was a smile that tried to convey a lot.

‘I’m here for you.’

‘They are going to be okay.’

‘I’m worried too.’

Yelena smiled back but the smile didn’t reach her eyes.

Wanda finished brushing her teeth and stepped out of the bathroom. Natasha was waiting for her by their bedroom door, both bags in her hand. “Ready for bed?” She asked, kissing Wanda on the cheek.

“Yes, I’m exhausted,” Wanda carefully opened the door and stepped inside. She smiled at the sight as Natasha closed the door and put their bags on the ground. Y/n was fast asleep. Her arms wrapped around a small pillow that was cuddled up against her chest. Wanda had never seen her look so peaceful and at ease with the world around her.

“She’s had a long day too,” Natasha whispered, sliding onto her side of the bed. She pulled back the blanket for Wanda to join her. Even as the bed made a noise under the additional weight, the young girl didn’t wake up. The witch laid her head on the pillow and looked up at her girlfriend. “I’m surprised she chose to sleep in here.”

“I’m not,” Wanda whispered, running her hand up and down Natasha’s arm. “She’s letting herself trust you.” The Black Widow smiled.

“I love you,” she captured her lips in a quick kiss.

“I love you too, moya lyubov' (my love). Goodnight.”

You sat up quickly. A silent scream barely left your lips. You placed a hand on your chest and felt your heart. It was thudding rapidly against your rib cage. Frantic eyes searched the room you were in, a room you didn’t recognize. Through your panic, you were pretty sure you heard your name. It was muffled. It was said again and it was much clearer this time but it still felt like you were being pulled underwater. “Dorogoy,” the Russian word broke through the fog and you stared at Natasha. She was kneeling next to you. “You're safe.”

“Dorogoy?” The word felt weird on your lips. “What does that mean?” You asked.

“It’s Russian for sweetheart,” she told you. “Do you know where you are?” It was an odd question but you looked around the room.

“Iowa,” you licked your dry lips. “In Barton’s house, I woke up from a nightmare.” You saw Wanda sit up in bed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Your nightmare woke them up. “I’m sorry,” you said. “I didn’t mean to wake you up I’m-I’m sorry.” Your breathing was becoming erratic again. Wanda was going to be mad and she was going to hit you or worse she was going to make you leave the tower.

“Hey dorogoy,” the Russian name again caused you to look at Natasha. “We are not upset, okay? But I need you to breathe for me. Can you do that? Copy me.” You nodded. Natasha took a deep breath in and held it and slowly let it out. It took you a few moments but finally, you copied the way she was breathing. “Good,” she praised. “You are doing a great job.”

“I’m okay,” you said.

“Yes you are,” The Black Widow agreed. “Just keep focusing on your breathing.” Your heart began to slow down and your breathing was back to normal. “Good job.” Wanda stood up and sat on the edge of the bed. She had a kind smile on her face. “Do you want to talk about your nightmare?”

“I don’t remember it,” you answered honestly. “I just remember feeling so scared and alone.” You whispered the last part.

“You aren’t alone,” Wanda said. “We are here.” You noticed her accent was thicker when she first woke up.

“I know,” you smiled.

“Do you want to try to go back to sleep or do you need something?” Natasha asked. You wanted to get a glass of water.

“Uh, is it okay if I get some water?”

“Yeah,” Wanda answered. “Do you want us to come with you?”

“I’m okay,” you stood up. “You can go back to sleep. I’m sorry I woke you up.” The Black Widow stood up with a shake of her head.

“You don’t need to apologize. We’ve all had our fair share of nightmares.” They got into bed.

“I’ll be back,” you said and opened the door. “Goodnight and thank you.” You left the room and closed the door. You rested your head on the closed door and took a few more steady breaths. Your legs shook as you walked down the stairs but you felt another energy level already in the kitchen. But you were still surprised to see Clint, pouring himself a cup of coffee. He looked over his shoulder and smiled.

“You’re down here much later than expected.” He said.

“Excuse me?” You questioned.

“Water, tea, or coffee?”

“Tea, please.” You sat on the island as Clint began to prepare your cup of tea. “You still didn’t clarify what you meant.”

“The first night is always the worst,” he said. “Sugar, honey, or both?” You stared at the man. He waited for your answer.

“Uh, honey.” He nodded. You were still confused.

“They’ve all been woken up by nightmares or they couldn’t fall asleep.” he set the mug in front of you. You were sure the confusion was all over your face. “Yelena, Kate, Wanda, and Natasha,” he clarified. “It’s something about the first night. Laura and I can’t seem to figure it out.” You picked up the mug and allowed the warmth to push away the nightmare.

“So you were just staying awake till I woke up?” You questioned. He took a long sip from his mug.

“Nah, that would be ridiculous. I couldn’t sleep either,” he moved towards the dining room table. “Come play a card game with me.” You were surprised by the request. Clint sat down and began to shuffle a deck of cards.

“So weird,” you mumbled but sat down in front of him.

“Do you know how to play war?” He asked. You shook your head. “It’s simple. We both place a card facing up at the same time and whoever has the highest value wins.” Clint dealt the cards, giving you one, and then himself. He continued until the deck was gone. He organized these cards into a neat pile and kept the cards facing down. You mirrored him. “By chance, we put down the same number, and we battle but I’ll explain that when it happens. Got it?”

“Kind of,” you weren’t 100% sure.

“We’ll take it slow,” Each time a round was played he explained how he or you won. In one round you both placed down a 2. He told you to place 3 cards face down and the 4th card you’ll flip over, whoever has the highest value wins the battle. You won with a queen. The game was fast past and simple which allowed your mind to forget the feeling of your nightmare. Clint filled the empty silence with more stories. He didn’t seem bothered that you kept quiet. Soon what Kate said to you before you left echoed in your head, ‘The Bartons are great. They have the unique ability to open their homes to strays.’

“Am I stray?” You asked him.

“What?” Your eyebrows meant in the middle as you were deep in thought.

“Kate said you could open your home up to strays,” you told him. “So am I a stray?”

“Do you want to be a stray?” He countered. You stared at the man in front of you as he collected the cards and shuffled them. Your mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. You were a little lost for words.

“I don’t know,” you finally answered. Clint smiled as he took a sip of his coffee and dealt the cards for the next round.

“Strays is what I called Nat and Kate when I found them,” his eyes seemed lost in the memory. “They were lost and scared.” He looked at you. “You have not been given an easy hand to deal with. Like this game we don’t know what card is next.” You found yourself not upset that they told them about you. “But they weren’t given a good hand either but they kept fighting and kept trying to win the next round.” He began to play again. A few rounds went but him winning. “I’m glad they kept playing because the life they’ve built is beautiful and they brought you here.” You both placed down a 9 and you won the battle with a 5. “Good job. You won.” You smiled as you collected the cards.

“I don’t want them to think I’m a bad person if I tell them what I’ve done,” you said.

“Did you have a choice?” He asked. A choice. A choice. That was complicated. A lot of the stuff you did was out of survival.

“No,” you whispered.

“Then you aren’t a bad person, squirt,” the nickname he gave you filled you with a sense of warmth. “We’ve all done stuff we aren’t proud of but we did it out of necessity to get to this point.” He put a car down but you were looking around his home. There were pictures that his kids drew hung up and pictures of them growing up on the walls. “Hey,” you looked back at him. “Where did you go just now?” You shrugged, placing a card down.

“I don’t know but I’m getting tired,” Clint smiled.

“Let’s try to get some sleep,” he cleaned up the cards and you put the dirty dishes in the sink. You rubbed your eyes. “Are you going back to Wanda and Nat’s room?”

“Can I sleep on the couch?” He nodded. He got you a pillow and blanket. You lay down on the pillow and Clint put a blanket over you. “Goodnight. If you need anything Laura and I are down that hallway.” You nodded.

“Thank you, Clint,” your voice cracked slightly.

“No problem, squirt,” he turned off the main light in the kitchen but kept a side light on. You closed your eyes and let sleep wash over you.

The sun shining through the window woke you up. You sat up slowly, stretching your arms above your head. It was one of the best nights of sleep you’ve had. You stood up and on quiet feet, you made your way into the kitchen. It was 9:30 but you started on breakfast. The first thing you did was you put on a fresh pot of coffee. You took off your gloves and washed your hands then you took out eggs and milk to start on french toast. There were left over strawberries from dinner so you cut them up and made scrambled eggs. You heard footsteps coming down the stairs and saw Yelena and Kate. “Morning,” Kate said, grabbing a mug and helping herself to the coffee.

“Morning. Breakfast should be done soon.” You told them.

“How’d you sleep?” Yelena asked. She opted for water instead of coffee.

“Okay, I had a nightmare and woke up Natasha and Wanda then I played cards with Clint,” saying it out loud made it sound more bizarre. “It was a weird night.” Kate and Yelena looked at each other.

“First night.” They said at the same time. You nodded.

“That is what Clint said,” more footsteps came running down the stairs.

“Do I smell cinnamon?” Lila asked.

“French toast will be done soon.” By the time Laura and Clint woke up, everyone was sitting down with a plate of food.

“What is going on?” Laura asked.

“Oh Y/n made breakfast,” Cooper said. “It’s really good.” You felt your cheeks burn at the compliment and looked down at your plate.

“Thank you,” she said. “You didn’t have to.” You shrugged.

“You made dinner and I did breakfast. It seems like an even trade.” Wanda and Natasha soon joined the group. Breakfast was eaten while the plan for the day was made. Everyone insisted they clean up because you cooked. You bit your tongue and went upstairs to change. You brought a book and the walkman downstairs with you. Natasha was whipping down the counter.

“You slept on the couch, didn’t you?” She asked. You nodded.

“Clint was up when I went downstairs,” you began to play with the cord of the headphones. “You know how I asked you and Wanda if it’s possible to forgive someone that has hurt you,” she nodded and gave you her full attention. “How do you forgive yourself for the things you’ve done?” It was a lot to ask so early in the morning but you wanted to stop these nightmares from happening. Natasha sighed and leaned against the counter.

“It doesn't happen overnight. I still struggle with it,” she took a moment to collect her thoughts. “My best advice for you is you can’t change the past. Unfortunately, those things you did can’t be undone and you have to expect that. But the question becomes, how do you deal with the guilt?”

“I don’t know,” you said.

“You live,” she whispered. “No matter what you’ve gone through and everything you’ve done, you continue to live.” The sound of footsteps caused you to look away from the Black Widow. It was Nate.

“Come on Auntie Nat. Let’s go play!” He hugged her arm.

“Sorry,” she mouthed as the boy pulled her outside. You smiled at her, telling her it was okay. You allowed yourself to sit with what Natasha said. With a sigh, you walked outside and sat at a picnic table. You opened the book you decided to read.

Soon everyone migrated outside. Clint sent up a small archery target that Kate and Lila ran over to right away. Cooper and Yelena grabbed a football and other toys from the barn. You continued to sit there and read and watch.

‘You continue to live.’

‘They kept fighting and kept trying to win the next round.’

You weren’t sure how to live or fight because you weren’t sure what you were fighting for. You never had this. A family to lean on and live for. Your parents didn’t hang up the artwork you made or take photos to preserve memories. You were so sick and tired of feeling jealous. It burned in you. It formed in your heart and worked its way through your veins until your entire body was consumed by it. You stared at the book. The words were blurring together. You tried to copy the breathing technique Natasha helped you through. It was helping. “Hi,” you jumped at the sudden voice. It was Nate. “Can you play with me?” He asked. You stared at the boy.

“Yeah,” you said. “I’ll play with you.”

Natasha was sipping on a glass of lemonade that Laura brought out. She watched as Nate and Y/n played together. She could see that the teen was nervous, her body was tense but as Nate ordered her around she started to relax. Clint sat down next to her. He sighed, stretching his arm. “I’m too old for this,” Natasha laughed, shaking her head.

“Retirement is making you lazy, old man.” The archer rolled his eyes and punched Natasha lightly on the shoulder. He pointed to his youngest.

“She’s afraid you’ll think she’s a bad person if she opens up to you.” Natasha figured as much. With all of her questions about forgiveness, there had to be some underlying meaning. “But you're doing good,” he put his hand on her shoulder. “I’m proud of you.” Natasha smiled at her oldest friend.

“Thanks, I’ve learned from the best.”

You stood in the half bath and splashed cold water on your face. Nate was fun but that little boy had a lot of energy. You were exhausted. You stared into the sink and let the water drip down the drain. But the bathroom began to spin. You gripped onto the porcelain sink as the drips that fell turned a crimson red. “Crap,” you mumbled, pulling off your right glove and feeling blood dripping down your nose. You used toilet paper to try to stop your nose from bleeding.

“Hey,” Cooper said, knocking on the door. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah,” you said, washing the blood off your face and flushing the bloody toilet paper down the toilet. “Just give me a second.” You looked over your reflection in the mirror and made sure your nose stopped bleeding and there was no blood on your face. You put your glove back on and opened the door. You didn’t miss the concern on Cooper’s face.

“You look a little pale,” he said. “Are you sure you're okay?” You nodded.

“I think I’m a little hungry,” you lied.

“Come on I’ll get you something to eat,” you followed him into the kitchen. He pulled out a few oranges from the fridge and cut them up into slices. “This should help,” he placed a bowl in front of you.

“Thank you,” you took an orange and ate it slowly. It was good; sweet and juicy.

“No problem,” he took one for himself. “I can’t have you passing out on me. Yelena would have my head.” You giggled.

“We can’t have that,” he smiled.

“I overheard that Nat is going on a mission. Do you know where she’s going?” You shook your head.

“They’ve kept me out of their Avenger business.” You said.

“Yeah that sounds like them,” he threw away the skins. “They don’t want us to worry about them.”

“Should we be worried?” You asked him. Cooper shook his head.

“Nat is the best for a reason. She’ll be fine.” You cleaned the dish quickly. “I’m surprised Nate gave us this much of a break. Ready?” You nodded and followed him outside. You tried to push the worry down. Why did you get a bloody nose? The last time you got one was 2 winters ago. It was cold in the city and your nose got dry. But now Cooper made you worry about Natasha. He was right. She was the best for a reason but a nagging feeling grew inside you. You just got Natasha, you couldn’t lose her.

I think we deserved to see Dean’s nightmares during the widower arc.

Like he’s kicked back on a motel bed, with Cas besides him, and they’re watching a movie, and Cas says,

"I think I need you to explain this to me."

"Well see, people stand in front of a camera and pretend to be something they're not. And the camera puts that on film, and we watch it to try to find ourselves in the lies."

Cas hums. "Where are you in this story?"

Dean grins. "Easy. I'm Han Solo."

Cas tilts his head and looks at Dean for a long beat. "No. I think you’re the war."

Dean swallows. Okay, but you're still Leia, he says, except he can't move his lips.

"You're bleeding," Cas says, suddenly worried.

Dean glances at his hand, blood is pouring from a slash across his palm. He shrugs. "What else is new?"

"Here..."

Cas takes Dean's hand in his. He grazes his fingertips across Dean's palm, gentle and intimate, and Dean gasps, and he can't look away. His cut heals, but Cas doesn't let go. He laces their fingers together, and they look like they belong together. Dean stares at their joined hands, fascinated.

A vein of black starts to creep up Cas' skin, starting from where he touched Dean's wound.

"Cas?"

Dean looks up, and they're not in a motel anymore, they're in a barn that's also a house by a lake, and Cas is dying.

He's shivering, sweat glistening on his skin, poison visibly making its way through his body.

"No," Dean says. "You're going to be okay."

He remembers how this went. Cas got better.

But Cas isn't getting better. Black is oozing out of his mouth. Dean is still holding his hand, but it feels like he isn't. He tries to hold tighter, but then he's not holding on at all anymore. He keeps reaching for Cas' hand but he's not able to grasp it.

He remembers what happened. Cas is supposed to get better.

Then with a shock he realizes that it's already too late. He's looking at the scorch marks of wings on the ground.

And that's when he wakes up.

Hazel and Frank go for a classic Witch and Frankenstein and go trick or treating with the younger kids in new rome

Leo goes as Ironman and Calypso scoffs at him

But Leo showed her marvel movies and she goes as black widow

Piper goes with them as Scarlet witch

but they end up just watching scary movies

this was fun maybe I’ll do some for some other fandoms

I will NOT be posting the nonsense left in my inbox tagging/calling others out. To take this a step further I’m actually not posting any hate ever again. I don’t need to defend myself (or others) to miserable strangers on this app.

I do however want to respond to the topic at hand because by default you are calling me ace-phobic as well and that’s a falsehood.

If you have a problem with how we write a fictional character (that isn’t actually canon as anything because MCU and Marvel Comics are not tied together by a blood vessel) then you can easily leave our blogs behind. You’re not shackled to any fic writers page. Yelena Belova is comically known as an enemy of Natasha, not her sister. Alexei was her husband. Natasha once ate Peter Parker. Thanos tore Tony in half.

The point I’m making is comic /=/ movie canon.

To also let you know, there’s huge talk that Yelena & Bucky are romantically involved in their newest project. People also saw the chemistry between Flo/Hailee and shipped Yelena with Kate before the Ace discourse had started (and continued to b/c it is their right).

There’s nothing but love for those who fall under the Ace umbrella here on my blog, and I say it that way because it is a spectrum, not a one size fits all identity. Start by understanding that ace doesn’t mean celibate. For you, and others it might, but for many it doesn’t. So the no smut does not even add to your argument. I’m aware that Yelena being hinted as ace might have excited you, given you a sense of visibility you’ve never seen in the mainstream (and you all do deserve such types of representation) but turning a Tumblr fandom toxic because they don’t see her the same isn’t fair. Especially because there’s no “proof” of her identity, “Probably more likely to identify as asexual,” is not a canon statement. If you’re here because a single Black Widow writer made an assumption based on a solo project they were involved in then you’re also not going to hit with anything credible because these writers do not talk to the heads when they make comments. They also don’t dictate a character’s future arc.

For further discourse I will defer you to this reddit link written by an individual who seems to identify somewhere within the spectrum.

I myself have written Yelena in all facets. I have written romantic, 1 smut, and I’m in the process of putting together a requested platonic one. It is not a malicious way to erase her potential aro/ace identity. It’s just to see her how I do.

Fanfic has always been about taking characters and running with your desires. Natasha has been turned into a vampire, witch, werewolf, lawyer, CEO, princess, stripper, Lesbian/Bi and the list goes on because interpretations vary wildly. Nothing we write is canon to the world, it is only to the writer / and interested readers.

This what if episode makes me wish even harder that marvel would give the Winter Soldier his own solo movie, taking place in the past just like they did with Black Widow. If they brought good action and leaned into the horror of it, I think people would eat that shit up. And I stand by that.

#especially if they let it be rated R #because people are already losing their shits over echo and some others being rated R and more violent #it would be a hit #but they’re stupid and wanna do other things that we will not name bc it makes genuinely fucking angry #if they wanna lean into a darker part of Bucky’s character this is the way #not by ruining a decade of character development where he consistently makes the choice to be a good person even when it’s hard #I said I wouldn’t say it but I am: the only reason they even put Bucky in thunderbolts is bc most people don’t care enough ab the other #characters so they won’t pay to go watch it. he’s only it in because it’d draw in money

I don't understand what good reason the mcu would have for killing off the first female superhero to have a solo movie in her SECOND movie!! and, in my opinion, the movie wasn't even a proper sequel to her first movie, and then it turns out that they wanted to kill her off?? given that they killed off black widow before her first movie even came out, meaning there's no hope for a sequel to her movie, it just feels like the mcu has something against their female led movies in particular

About Me:

I’ve had quite a few new followers these past few weeks, so I thought I would make a little about me post, just so you all know what you’re getting into.

First off, hello! My name is Madison (she/her), I’m 19 (will be 20 in January which is. . . something I’m not thinking about at the moment), I’m bisexual, extremely liberal (racists, misogynists, homophobes, transphobes, etc. can fuck off and die), and I live in Saskatchewan, Canada. My favourite thing in the world to do is write, and I love to read as well.

Star Wars

I love every movie, and every TV show (I was admittedly not a fan of Andor, but I’m so happy that so many people loved it so much!), and I’m working through some of the canon novels

This is my first fandom, one of my first loves. No matter how deeply I fall in love with other things I will never love them like I love Star Wars

Marvel

Favourite Characters: Natasha Romanoff, Loki Laufeyson, Bucky Barnes, Wanda Maximoff, Kate Bishop, Jennifer Walters, Steve Rogers, Carol Danvers, Sylvie, Marc Spector, Valkyrie, Peggy Carter, Yelena Belova, and many, many more.

I love every movie and TV show (to varying degrees, but nonetheless) but my favourite movies are Endgame, Infinity War, No Way Home, Eternals, Winter Soldier, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Ragnarok (not necessarily in that order), and my favourite shows are Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Loki, Werewolf by Night, Hawkeye (not necessarily in that order)

I also very casually read Marvel comics (just a few here and there whenever I find some that pique my interest)

Admittedly, not nearly as much as Marvel. There isn’t a lot of emotional attachment. Honestly it’s bordering on contempt at this point, especially after spending money to go see The Flash in theatres

But I love The Batman, Wonder Woman, The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, the Dark Knight trilogy, Harley Quinn, and Batman (1989). I am cautiously excited for many of their upcoming projects under James Gunn’s leadership

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is my all-time favourite comic book and honestly just one of my favourite books of all time. It’s truly a beautiful work of art.

Lord of the Rings

I’ve seen all three movies and 2/3 Hobbit movies, and I’ve read Fellowship of the Ring (planning on getting to the other two soon). I also watched and absolutely adored The Rings of Power.

My favourite characters are Éowyn and Aragorn, but I love Merry, Pippin, Legolas, and Gimli too. And Galadriel, Elrond, Durin, Elendil, Miriel, and Halbrand in TRoP

I’m admittedly not the most well-versed in LOTR, but I do really enjoy it.

A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones:

Don’t even get me started on those goddamn shows. Seasons 7 and 8 of GoT and HoTD infuriate me on a daily basis but goddamn it I love this world so much. Westeros is so important to me
