I’ve finished my close reading of Jane Eyre and somehow managed to fall more in love with this story than I already was.

Charlotte Bronte is a master of prose and language. Her writing is exquisite and I underlined so many beautiful descriptions of nature, sunsets and the moors.

I’m actually so excited to write about this book.

i read the little prince as a kid but after turning 20 i've been feeling emotions and a burden i had never experienced before. because this is my first life and this is for the first time that i've turned 20 and i'm lost and clueless like everyone else. i have never been good at putting my thoughts into words....

this time when i read the little prince i just felt safe and protected from the chaos out there. this book is the reason i started painting again... the reason i started doing things to be happy and not to be perfect.

shall carry antoine exupery's words in my heart forgood "growing up is not the problem, forgetting is"

wish i could meet him and give him a hug. i adore the book, the author and my dear lil prince so much 🤍

i have so many books on my tbr, idk where to start. i pick up a book, read one chapter or 10 pages and then dive into another book and the cycle continues. now that i have enough time to read (2 months summer vacation), i'm having so much trouble setting my mind on one book. i have been feeling terribly overwhelmed 🫠
