Non sono mai stata brava ad esprimere quello che provavo a voce, ho sempre preferito le lettere.

Ho iniziato a scrivere lettere alle medie, quando quella che era la mia migliore amica ha traslocato dall'altra parte d'Italia. Non gliene ho mai inviata una. Le scrivevo sulle pagine di un quaderno che portavo sempre con me e che custodivo gelosamente. Ora quel quaderno l'ho buttato.

Al suo posto ci sono le note del telefono, anche queste tenute gelosamente, ma il destinatario non è più lei. Sono note scritte alle 2 di notte e tutte copiate a mano nei minimi dettagli il giorno dopo, perché carta e penna hanno quel fascino in più del tipo "Ho trovato del tempo per scriverti due facciate e farti sapere come sto e cosa provo". Ora le lettere le do al destinatario. Lettere piene di parole mai dette e sentimenti. A me restano solo le note originali che mi ricordano momenti ed emozioni, e sono la prova di quanto sia felice. Perché a volte nelle giornate grigie tra libri, stress e lavoro, me lo dimentico.
