Idea: Marcus masters shapeshifting, and can subsequently shapeshift into any living being(he still has to learn to shift into objects) but on the days he doesn't want to deal with something, he'll just, transform into a monkey and run off to the local zoo. So on any given day, you will see one to three heroes(Beetle/Robin/Shazam) yelling at the monkey enclosure because there is a villain terrorizing the city.

I completely forgot about this in my drafts, it’s sad cause I love this idea

The fics about Billy detransforming and the Justice League mistaking it as Marvel getting de-aged are great, I love them so much, wish there were more really.

However, there’s a startling lack of Billy cursing up a storm during this. Like, he’s a street kid he knows come creative curses, but also, it’s a fucking hilarious opportunity.

Little Captain Marvel cursing up a storm because someone pissed him off or him screaming fuck because he stubbed his toe.

It’s funny and would flabbergast the League to no end.

And if they asked Marvel after the incident, depending on what you headcanon, then he could say that he has a magic filter on it that the gods don’t know the difference between cursing and cursing

So I was talking to the guy yeah,

and then suddenly I had set up a presentation explaining in full detail how Captain Marvel is just a metaphor for Kids having to grow up too fast and that the whole form is a physical representation of Billy's forced maturity.

He's well spoken and confident in situations where he can't afford to have adults look down on him but comes off as reserved around other kids because he feels he has no way of truly connecting with them cause of the hardships He's been through.

His relationship with people his age always comes off that it's actually the most consistent thing about his character. Even in the Titan academy comic no one knew who tf he was strictly because he never talked to people.

That's why the Wizard being dead is such an interesting intro to his powers because once again this child who is forced to look at the reality of the world and has to navigate it alone again.

I was then promptly taken to prison for apparently "Kidnapping" some dude.
