it really speaks volumes about bruce's adoption issue bc there simply isn't enough people in the superfam to accommodate all the bats.

and it makes sense that dick and jason would be less likely to have a super-friend bc they're the oldest and therefore have had the most time to form their own identities away from bruce (though if you read the red hood webtoon you could agrue that jason is bffs with bizarro)

and really when i made the og post i wasn't considering duke or the girls so my bad for that

but nevertheless kara and power girl are both parts of the superfam so its never really too late for any of the bats to have super-besties

while we're on the topic of talking about changes the pjo show made that i love, im glad they didn't push the whole Annabeth saying she and Percy *have* to be enemies because athena and Poseidon have beef. Instead she's just this cryptid autistic strategist 12 yr old who stalks Percy and pushes him into the water. it breaks my heart that percy thinks that he is dumb. the only reason so many people say it about percy is that he himself is an unreliable narrator

from the very first chapter, he tells nancy to shut up because he is actually interested in the lecture

no bc the way that in the pjo musical luke says 'good' when percy points out that kronos is using him is so heartbreaking to me

the biggest issue i have with luke is that he's so busy trying to dismantle a bad system he's putting a worst one in place
