“Ughhh Iwa are we almost there?” You groaned, leaning into your brother's shoulder as the Sejoh bus continued towards the opposing team’s school. “Mm, I dunno. I’m sleeping. Leave me alone.” Your brother groaned as you rolled your eyes. “Idiot I know you’re not asleep. Besides, I’m bored.” You huffed, as your brother showed no interest in what you had to say. “Well how about you go sit with Oikawa then. Let him entertain you.” Iwa muttered before shaking you off his shoulder. You sighed before finally giving in, turning towards the seat behind you.

You looked over to see the brown haired boy half asleep against the window. He had earbuds in and was still slightly bopping his head to the music. He looked absolutely adorable and you felt yourself begin to smile before mentally slapping yourself in the face. Idiot y/n. You can’t think these things about your brother's best friend.. You thought, until your brother broke the silence.

“Oi. Stop gazing at him like that. You look like a dumbass.” You snapped your head towards him in shock. “What??? NO! I wasn’t gazing idiot, I was just…” “Enjoying the view?” Iwaizumi stifled a laugh. “Yea-NO! NO I wasn’t idiot.” You buried your head in your arms. A gente laugh sounded from the seat behind you. “I don’t mind if you stare, y/n. I find it rather flattering if anything!” You looked back to meet a set of gentle brown eyes staring at you. “Shut up, Tooru.” You said, reaching over to ruffle his hair. He quickly swatted your hands away to fix his hair before looking back up and smiling at you again. “Yeah, okay. Can you at least come back here so maybe I can gaze at you as well?” The pretty boy asked as you felt your face heating up. “I really hate you sometimes.” You grumbled, before stepping back into his seat. He shifted over to make room for you before playfully putting an arm over your shoulder. “Yeah yeah, I love you too.” He said as he pulled you so your bodies were pressed together in the small bus seat. Ignoring the blush on your face, you quickly jabbed him in the side as he let out a noise that was either a yell or a laugh before reaching to tickle your waist. You started laughing uncontrollably as the brown hair boy had the biggest grin on his face. “TOORU- STOP DUMBASS…IM GON…HAHHAHAH..IM G-GONNA KILL YOU” You said through laughter before your brother whipped around the seat and looked at the two of you. “You idiots better shut the hell up or I’ll beat both your asses later.” He said before turning back forward. Oikawa rolled his eyes slightly at him before turning back to you. “Yeah whatever. I think I’m gonna listen to music again, do you wanna share?” He asked, handing you one of his earbuds. You nodded and gave him a slight smile. “Just this once.” He smiled back. “Mhm, sure. We have a bit longer of a ride so I’m gonna try to get some sleep, ‘Kay?” You nodded once again, before deciding to rest as well.

Once the team’s bus finally arrived at the school, everyone began to get off the bus. Oikawa rubbed his eyes, finally awakening from his sleep, and just as he was about to get up he felt a weight on his shoulder. He looked down to see you in a deep slumber with your face nuzzled into his neck and your arms loosely wrapped around his arm. The boy smiled softly, filled with warmth at the sight of you being so content in his presence. He brushed your hair out of your face gently as he took in all your features. This girl is going to be the death of me… He thought, before deciding to wake you up. “Y/nnnnnnn. Wakey wakey sleeping beauty.” You groaned before finally opening your eyes to see him. “Sleeping beauty? Really?” You sighed. “Yup. Your prince is here to wake you up. I need you to cheer me on for my match today anyways.” He smiled as you finally got up. “Alright alright, I’m up. But I’m gonna beat your ass later for calling me sleeping beauty…” He laughed, leading you out of the bus with a hand on your lower back. “Yeah whatever. But you’re still gonna cheer for me, right?” He asked, causing you to roll your eyes at how annoyingly cute he is. “Yeah, yeah. We’ll see.”

The two of you walked into the Karasuno gym to be greeted by the team. “Woah! It’s the great king!!” The short middle blocker gasped, as Oikawa just laughed at the nickname. You began to look for a seat before you spotted the raven haired setter you were hoping to see. “Kageyama!” You yelled, before running to him to engulf him in a hug. The boy nearly malfunctioned, before pulling back a bit to see your face. “Y-Y/N..” He stuttered, as you just laughed at his cuteness. “You’re so cute, Kags.” You held his face, giving him a small kiss on his nose. His eyes went all big as you continued to coo about how cute he is. You always found him to be so adorable, and loved to tease him a bit to see him get all pouty and blushy. You had no type of romantic feeling for him, but you always made sure to get him all flustered when you saw him.

As you continued giving him hugs and squishing his cheeks, Oikawa was fuming. He has always wanted you to show him affection like that, and seeing you give it to his rival made him wanna rip someone's head off. Once you finally unlatched yourself from Kageyama, Oikawa made sure to catch your eye. He quickly plastered on a smile before trying to “win you over.” “How about a good luck kiss for me, Y/N?” He winked, as you rolled your eyes, before looking back at him with a teasing smile. “You wish.” Normally, that comment would be enough for him, but seeing how eager you were to pepper Kageyama’s face with kisses earlier made him feel a sharp pang in his heart.

The game finally started, and Oikawa just couldn’t think straight. His sets were sloppy, blocks were timed wrong, and he just couldn’t seem to do anything right. His blood began to boil as the image of you kissing and hugging Kageyama flashed through his thoughts.

That should be me.

Once Oikawa was up to serve, he still couldn’t think straight.

She should be kissing me.

He hit the ball against the ground, the power of each hit increasing as he felt his anger grow.

What does he have that I don’t?

He looked up to the bleachers and found you. You made eye contact with him and gave him a small smile. Instead of flashing his usual smile back he looked away and glared at Kageyama.

She’s mine.

The whistle blew, and without thinking he tossed the ball in the air and served it.

Hard.

But the ball didn’t hit the ground. Instead it hit Kageyama square in the face.

Shit!

“Shit!” Kageyama yelled, as the whistle blew, calling a timeout. His nose was dripping blood and his whole team surrounded him to help him.

Shit.

Oikawa felt his jealousy being replaced with regret as he realized what he had done. He looked to the bleachers to find you, and finally spotted you running down to Kageyama.

“Oh my god! Kags, are you okay??” You held his face gently, pulling out a tissue to wipe the blood off. As if that just flipped a switch inside of him, Oikawa felt the jealousy growing back. He began to stomp over to you, ignoring the yells of his teammates.

“Y/N.” He said, almost growled, your name, causing you to turn to him, eyes filled with anger. “Tooru, what the hell?? What is wrong with you?” You snapped before Oikawa grabbed your hand and began to drag you outside of the gym. You tried to resist, but the boy had a firm grip on you.

He finally dragged you outside and you wasted no time before yelling at him. “What the hell is wrong with you Tooru? Why are you being such an asshole?” You growled at him, before he put his arms on either side of you, pining you to the wall. You continued to question him angrily, before he had enough. The chocolate haired boy eagerly slammed his lips onto yours, engulfing you into a deep kiss. Your eyes widened, but you barely wasted a second before closing your eyes and kissing him back. Oikawa wrapped his arms around your waist, pressing your bodies impossibly closer. His kisses became more needy as you tangled your hands into his hair. “Love me, Y/N..” He mumbled between kisses. “Love me.” You felt a burning passion growing inside of you as the setter continued to kiss you. “I can treat you better than him.” He mumbled. “Please, let me have the chance to show you that.” You trailed your hands to his cheeks, surprised to find a tear trailing down his cheek. You pulled away gasping for air, as the setter stared at you. “Tooru… are you crying?” you asked. The setter released the grip he had on your waist as he looked into your eyes. “What does he have that I don’t?” He whispered. You stared at him, urging him to continue. “I just… what does he have that I don’t?” He repeated, starting to feel more tears running from his eyes. “Tooru..” You started, but he kept talking. “Everything in my life has been lost to someone new, someone better, but I just…” he looked into your eyes. “I can’t lose you.” You feel your face heating up before holding his face again. “You’re not gonna lose me, Tooru. You’re like my best friend.” You said, but he shook his head. “No. I want more. I need more than that, Y/N.” He took in a deep breath, before leaning in closer to you.

“I love you, Y/N. I have since we first met.” You gasped at his words. You never in a million years expected him to say that to you. Sure, he has always flirted with you, but isn’t that just how he is?

Oikawa began to back away from you sadly, but you grabbed his hand to stop him. “I love you, Tooru.” You said, causing the boy’s eyes to widen. “I’ve always loved you.” The boy stepped back closer to you. “Then what about..” “I don't like Kageyama. I just find him cute, but in a different way.” You explained, causing him to grin. “Really?” He asked. “Really.” You placed a small kiss onto his lips, causing him to smile more. “But that doesn’t mean you get to act like an asshole.” You said, making him nod. “I know, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done that.” You smiled at his apology and pulled him into a hug. “Good. And next time you want affection from me, just say it. I know I can be a jerk sometimes, but I really do love you.” You mumbled the last part, feeling your face burn up, causing the boy to laugh. “Okay, thank you Y/N.” He pulled back to look at you, and you both smiled. “Of course. But don’t think I’m letting you off the hook that easily. You still have to apologize to Kags.” Oikawa playfully rolled his eyes before leaving the hug to hold your hand. “Fine. I guess I can do that for you. But after that, I’m gonna kick Karasuno’s ass.” You laughed at his comment, before placing a final kiss on his cheek.

“I know you will, dumbass.”

The sounds of squeaking sneakers could be heard coming from the Fukurodani gym. The school’s volleyball team was having a practice match against Nekoma, and the last point was finally scored by none other than the team’s captain himself.

The team erupted in cheers as the dark haired blocker peered through the net at his friend.

“What did I tell ya? Huh?” He said with a cocky smile. “I knew my team would win, didn’t I?”

The gray haired spiker looked away and furrowed his eyebrows.

“You guys just got lucky this time” He pouted, as Kuroo still wore his shit eating grin.

“Was it now? ‘Cause I really don’t think that me and Kenma could’ve pulled off sheer luck that many times, isn’t that right Kenma?” Kuroo said as he grasped the poor setter's shoulders.

“I dunno… it could’ve been luck for all we know.” Kenma mumbled, as Kuroo pushed him aside.

“Come on, don’t say that Kenma. You’re making us look bad.” He said, shaking his head. The three all headed to their bags to get a drink of water. Bokuto pulled out his phone and saw two notifications from you.

You:

hey is the game over yet?

You:

i can meet u there in like 10

Bokuto smiled at his phone, glad to see that his plan was gonna work.

Bokuto:

Yeah that works!!

Bokuto:

And you gotta trust me on this one, you guys will totally hit it off!!”

You:

we’ll see about that

Bokuto put his phone in his pocket. He had plans to set up two of his closest friends and he needed to make sure it went well.

Bokuto:

Trust me. It’ll be great.

You looked at the final message Bokuto sent and rolled your eyes, before falling back onto your bed.

One day earlier…

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GOT A 93 ON YOUR EXAM??” Your best friend cried, staggering away from you with shock. “I mean exactly what it sounds like, Bo.” You grinned, sliding the test towards him. You leaned back in your chair with a proud smirk plastered on your face as Bokuto’s eyes scanned over your paper. “How is that even possible..??” He questioned, slamming his head down against the table as he groaned with annoyance. You laughed at his actions as you reached his downward facing paper. “I guess I’m just a genius. And c’mon, yours can’t be that bad.” You rolled your eyes as you flipped over his paper.

“57, Not impressed”

You couldn’t help but laugh at his results. “OH MY GOD BO...57?? I’M SORRY BUT LIKE…57..BWAHAHAHA” Your best friend groaned again, pulling his hair over his ears.

You wiped your tears as you finally calmed down.”I’m sorry, I really didn’t mean to laugh, but like how do you even manage to score that low?” You grinned at him. “Leave me alone” He carried out the last word as his voice was muffled against the table. “I don’t need another nerd making fun of my grades.” This made you perk up a bit. “Another? I didn’t know Akaashi made fun of your grades.” He finally tilted his head against the desk so you could see his face. “No, not him, I mean Kuroo. The guy will never give me a freaking break.” He whined as you laughed again. “Oh yeah? Sounds like me and this “Kuroo” would get along.” You joked, causing Bokuto to shoot up and look at you.

“Wait a minute..” He squinted, rubbing his chin. “You might be right, you guys are pretty similar.” He thought out loud. “How so?” You encouraged him to continue, to which he responded with the similarities of your humor, personalities, and even intelligence.“...So yeah, I’d say you guys are prettyyy similar.” he finished. “He must be a cool guy then, eh?” You raised your eyebrows. Bokuto had a smile creeping onto his face as he had an idea pop into his head. “Oh yeah, totally. You guys should hang out sometime!” He pushed. “I dunno, Bo. I don’t even know the guy, and I know plenty of people already.” You looked at your friend, who now had a big smile plastered onto his face. “Oh come onnnn, you guys will totally hit it off!” He claimed, and you gave him a skeptical look. You rolled your eyes playfully at him as you finally agreed. “Fine, but just because I wanna see how cool this guy really is.” You said as your friend cheered. “Yes! Yes! You guys will get along perfectly! I know the perfect time for you to meet! Just you wait!” He exclaimed as you rolled your eyes playfully.

He better not be too much like Bokuto, I really don’t think I’ll be able to handle having another idiot for a friend.

But what you didn’t know is that Bokuto had a bit more up his sleeve than you may have thought.

Present day…

You quickly pulled on a pair of sweatpants and an old tee shirt before heading downstairs. You opened the door to be hit with a cool autumn breeze as you began walking to where Bokuto told you to go.

You finally arrived at a small café that was by the school and headed in. You looked around at the few people in the building hoping to see your friend, but he was not there.

Huh, I’m pretty sure this was where he said. You thought as you sat down at a small table by the door. You pulled out your phone to text Bokuto as you heard the door open behind you. You turned around to see a tall boy with black hair. He looked about your age, and was quite attractive. He looked around the store eagerly until he caught your eye. You slightly smiled at him and decided to speak up. “‘Are you meeting someone here too?” You asked as he grinned back. “Yup.” You laughed slightly as you looked back down to your phone to send another text to Bokuto.

You:

yo im here, where r u?

You rolled your eyes at your friend as you then heard a chair scuffing across from you. You looked up to see the black haired boy from earlier standing before you. “Mind if I sit here?” He said, with his cocky grin back on his face. You felt yourself smiling back at the boy as you nodded. “Go ahead.” He sat down across from you and nodded a thank you. You looked back down at your phone, still awaiting a response from Bokuto, to find that your messages were still left on read. You were starting to get annoyed and began to type another message, but before you could send it you heard a voice clear across from you.

“Who are ya texting?” The boy across from you asked. You looked up to meet his eyes and cocked an eyebrow. “Why would I tell you that?” The boy laughed lightly, before looking back at you. “Well don’t you think it’s a bit rude to be on your phone when you could be talking to a really cool guy who happens to be right across from you?” You shook your head at him with annoyance before meeting his eyes once again. “Well don’t you think it’s a bit rude to intrude on a strangers personal conversations?” You shot back, to which the boy raised his eyebrows in amusement. “Who says we have to be strangers?” You slightly laughed at his question before responding. “Well considering that we know nothing about each other I’d say that that is what we are.” The boy smiled slightly as he rested his head in the palm of his hand. “But we don’t have to stay strangers, you know?” He said as you rolled your eyes at him and looked back at your phone. “And I wouldn’t say that we know nothing about each other.” He continued, causing you to look back up at him. “Oh yeah? Well then what do you know about me Mr. Smart Guy?” You raised your eyebrows as he laughed. “Well I know that you must like coffee.” He gestured to the café that you guys were in. “Yeah? Well what kind do I like?” You questioned him, to which he shrugged. “You tell me.” You laughed at his statement. “‘You tell me’? I thought you were supposed to know this about me already.” You playfully squinted at him. “Well if you tell me I’ll be learning something about you.” His smile grew as he saw your amusement. “Touché Mr. Smart Guy. My favorite type of coffee is [favorite type].” You gave in to the boy as he leaned back proudly. “See? Now I already know you a little better.” You shook your head at the boy with a smile. “Yeah, well what can you even do with that information?” You questioned him, as he stood up “I’ll be right back.” He said with a grin, walking towards the counter.

You watched as the tall boy said his order, feeling an unfamiliar feeling from being with him. You usually took a while to warm up to someone but he was different. It was like he could read your mind or something and was able to figure out how to get on your good side right away. It was weird.

A moment later, your thoughts were interrupted at the sound of two plastic cups hitting the table. “Hopefully you didn’t miss me too much.” The tall boy sat back down and slid you a drink. You shook your head with amusement. “You are ridiculous.” “And you are welcome for the drink.” The boy replied, taking a sip of his coffee. “So now you gotta figure something out about me.” He smiled as you sipped your drink. “Oh yeah? And why is that?” You asked. “So then we can finally go from “strangers” to “acquaintances”.” He grinned. “And who says that’s how we can become acquainted?” You asked in a teasing tone. “I do. Now what do you know about me?” The boy smirked slightly at seeing you squint at him, clearly amused by his question. “Well I know you like to buy random girls coffee.” You teased, to which he shook his head. “Nope, that's just one.” He laughed, as you found yourself blushing a bit. “And why is that?” You asked, as the boy gave you another smile. “Because maybe she seemed to have something special about her.” Which made you look down to hide your reddened face.

This boy.

He tilted his head down to try to see you again. “Getting a little blushy now, are we?” He teased, as you got yourself together and looked back up. “You wish.” He raised his brows at you as you continued. “And besides, it’s gonna take a bit more than a stranger to make me blush. Even if he’s pretty cute.” You smirked, as it was now his turn to flush pink. He quickly recovered and grinned back at you again. “Well how about a cute acquaintance?” He said, which caused you to laugh. “You tell me.” He rested his hands on the back of his head as he leaned back. “Well then, my dear acquaintance, how about we figure that out at dinner tomorrow at 7?” He asked you with a slight hint of nervousness in his voice.

Holy shit, is he asking me out?

You felt a big smile tugging at your lips as you pretended to think about his offer. “Hmm, I guess that sounds good.” You finally said, causing the two of you to smile. “Alright then. I guess I will see you there.” He said, standing up. “I guess so.” You agreed. He gave you one last smile before he turned to leave, but you quickly stopped him.

“Woah, woah, woah. You’re not just gonna leave without telling me your name, are you?” He laughed as he responded. “What, is ‘Mr. Smart Guy’ not gonna cut it anymore?” When he saw you squint at him he continued. “Alright, fine. The name’s Kuroo.” Your eyes widened briefly at the realization. That idiot set us up, didn’t he? But you shook it off as you decided to introduce yourself as well. “Nice to meet you, Kuroo. I’m Y/N.” You smiled, making him nod his head and repeat the name. “Y/N. Well it’s been nice to become acquainted with you, Y/N. I’ll see you tomorrow.” He said. “See you tomorrow.” You gave him one last look before walking out the door.

As you began to walk home, you felt your phone buzz. You picked it up and read the notification from your friend.

Bokuto:

You’re welcome for the free date.

You shook your head at your friend before smiling at the phone. Maybe he’s not as much of an idiot as you thought after all.

The two watched as Kuroo walked into the small coffee shop.

"Wow, that's amazing." Akaashi replied sarcastically as Bokuto ignored him.

"He has no idea about Y/N. I told him I'd be meeting up with him today and- HELL YEAH HES SITTING AT HER TABLE!" The grey haired boy cheered as he saw his plan come together.

Akaashi sighed at his friend's behavior as he leaned back behind the bush.

"If we get caught you better tell them that I have nothing to do with this."

the sounds of squeaky sneakers echoed through the gym as you quietly waited outside. your boyfriend has finally decided that he wanted to introduce you to the team today, and you couldnt help but feel a little bit nervous.

after a couple minutes of waiting, you decided to peek through the gym doors, and it seemed like everyone was beginning to put away the volleyballs and dry mop the floors. you nervously skimmed through the unfamiliar group of teens before your eyes finally fell upon the black haired setter, who seemed to be arguing with a small orange haired boy. not wanting to interrupt anything you decided to pull out your phone to text the boy, but a loud voice from beside you caused you to drop it.

"hey hey!! whats this cute person doing here??"

"oh man, theyre almost as hot as kiyoko!!"

you flinched at the loud voices near you before turning to see a small boy with spiked hair and taller friend with a shaved head. you felt a lump growing in your throat as you spoke.

"oh...i, uhm..am ju-"

"you dropped this"

you quickly turned around to find urself looking up to a tall blond with glasses. he held up your cell phone with a trace of an amused smirk on his face.

"oh, right, uhm t-thank you.." you bowed quickly as you grabbed your phone before turning around to leave. 'maybe he forgot he was gonna introduce me today?' you thought as you walked towards the exit before you heard a familiar voice saying "Y/N WATCH OUT!!"

you quickly whipped ur head back to see a volleyball flying in your direction. you jumped out of the way and landed on the ground, just barely dodging the ball as you could hear footsteps getting closer to you.

"Y/N..A-ARE YOU ALRIGHT??"

you looked up to be greeted with kageyamas icy blue eyes nervously looking you up and down for any signs for injuries. his hands were grasping both of your shoulders softly as you chuckled softly at his worried state. "im okay, tobio." you reassured him as you put a hand on his wrists to pull them down. his gaze relaxed a bit, as a light blush dusted his cheeks from the simple contact.

"HUH..???"

"KAGEYAMA ACTUALLY KNOWS THIS PERSON??"

"AND ON A FIRST NAME BASIS??"

you and kageyama both whipped around, remembering that there were people around you. you flushed red with embarrassment as you and kageyama stood up. "DUMBASSES, THEYRE MY S/O" he yelled at the team (hinata) as they became even more shocked.

"KAGEYAMA HAS A S/O BEFORE I DO? NO FAIR" tanaka sobbed into nishinoyas hair as the spiky haired boy continued to stand bewildered. the team continued to bombard you and kageyama with questions and your boyfriend was always the one to answer (defensively).

"HAHAHHA KAGEYAMA YOU LOOK LIKE A TOMATO"

"SHUTUPHINATADUMBASSNOIDONT"

"ooooh kageyama youre blushinggg!"

"sugawara dont encourage this."

"I CANT BELIEVE KAGEYAMA GOT AN S/O BEFORE ME.."

"WHY DO YOU SOUND SO SURPRISED? HUH??"

the bickering continued as you stayed focused on the ground beneath your feet. kageyama seemed to be able to deal with all the questions until the tall blond spoke.

"tsk, what do they even see in the king anyways?" he snickered.

kageyama whipped to him at the speed of light "WHAT DO YOU MEAN ASSHOLE?? THEY OBVIOUSLY..THEY.....WHAT DO THEY SEE IN ME?? THEY..UHM..." his comeback faded to silence as he turned to you for help. you looked up at his eager expression and shyly stared to speak.

"o-oh, i uhm..i...uh...." your eyes darted around nervously, becoming more stressed from the large crowd.

but you werent stressed by the question, because you could answer that in an instant.

sinse the moment you two became friends, you knew the boy was special. he was passionate, protective, and actually quite sweet. he has always noticed the little things about you, and never had a problem with you being more shy because he was kinda shy too.

kageyama watched as your gaze fell to the ground and was able to pick up on the problem. he grabbed your hand and glared at his teammates before pulling you outside.

once you were out of earshot of the team you immediately began to explain to him what happened.

"im sorry! im so so sorry! i see a lot in you i just-"

"y/n"

"-and i just got nervous because there was so many of them an-"

"y/n"

"-i do see a lot in you tobio, i swear! i love you so much and-"

"Y/N! I KNOW, I UNDERSTAN- wait what?" the setter was just hit with the words you just said.

the two of you have been dating for a few months now, but neither of you have used the L-word yet.

your face turned bright red as you looked at the ground. kageyama felt his own cheeks heating up as he bent down a bit in attempt to make eye contact with you.

"you-you love me?" he barely whispered. you nodded your head lightly as you continued to avoid his gaze. the setter took a sharp breath in as he took a moment to process the words.

i love you

"oi" he said quietly. you finally lifted your head up to meet his eyes. he brought up his shaky hands to hold your face softly.

"i...ah..i love you" he whispered shyly, before hesitantly going in to place a soft kiss on your lips.

you have been dating for months, and he still gets shy when it comes to these things. its actually quite endearing.

when he pulled back you felt a small smile creeping onto your lips.

"i love you.." you repeated.

"i love you." he said again, with more confidence than the last time. "and im sorry that they made you overwhelmed, they can all be dumbasses sometimes, and i shouldve brought you in myself instead of having you meet me today.."

"you dont need to apologize, tobio, i promise its not your fault. i just...you know how i am with people i dont know.." you mumbled the last part.

"i know, i know! but thats why im sorry. i shouldve made you more comfortable..i just...ugh! im sorry.." he began to ramble again, as it was your turn to cut him off with a kiss on the cheek. his face flushed bright red as he quickly stooped talking.

"please dont apologize, tobio."

"o-okay, im sorry-WAIT NO..no im not. do you, uh, wanna go back in? or like I-IF NOT ITS FINE!! YOU DONT HAVE TO-" you laughed once again at his flustered state.

"ill be alright tobio. we can get your stuff and i can say goodbye to them before we go, okay?" kageyama nodded.

"okay, okay yeah, that works...just, uhm, let me know if you wanna leave sooner please.." "i will" you said as he gave you a final look, before taking your hand to lead you back in.

everyones eyes turned to the two of you, and before they could speak your boyfriend cut them off"

"so we are gonna be heading out now, and my s/o just wanted to say goodbye"

all eyes turned to you, as you took a deep breath. "i-it was a pleasure meeting you all" you said quickly, before bowing.

everyone stayed silent for a moment, and then they all started to respond.

"it was a pleasure meeting you too!!"

"THEYRE SO CUTE OH MY GO-" (kageyama threw a volleyball at nishinoyas head)

you smiled shyly at them, and kageyama slung his sport bag over his shoulder.

"you ready to go?"

"mhm!"

you waved goodbye as kageyama intertwined his fingers with yours. as soon as you were out of sight, he placed a soft kiss to your temple while angrily mumbling about his teammates.

"theyre such dumbasses.." he muttered, causing you to laugh and pull him in for a hug.

"yeah, well youre also a dumbass, but youre MY dumbass.” you teased as his face flushed with embarrassment

"yeah..wh-whatever..i love you."

"i love you too."
