it's ok to fall back, as many times as you need to...

Yesterday I completely neglected my task list, falling into one of the worst depressive episodes of my life... It's important for me to be transparent about my mental health on this account because I know that so many other students struggle too, but it takes a lot of courage to come forth and admit that, especially given the fact that this is a study blog and I'm trying to record and publicize my productivity.

so if you too are student struggling, I hope you know this is a safe space were I address both the ugly and beautiful of this journey.

to stabilize my emotional state, today I'll spend some much needed one on one time with my family, outdoors!

I cannot stress enough how important it is to spend time outdoors as a student, get your dose of sun rays!!

-Tax day is approaching fast so, unfortunately, we have to file them today.

The sun did us so much justice today. The current weather is cold enough that you can easily study outside but not hot enough that you have to run back inside after 15 minutes. I know this is the peak of spring in my state, which means that it'll soon come down and we'll be back to boiling temperatures, but it's nice while it lasts, even if it is for a few days!!

The collective works with Palestinian women (refugees and those living in Gaza) to create tatreez (Palestinian embroidery) for Japanese obis (wide sash/belt). They also participate in cross cultural initiatives such as embroidery workshops and exhibitions.
