I don’t usually like to use this platform to bash people cause it is a free space, but…. Fuck this guy okay, fuck this loser. This bum ass guy had the nerve to kill a bunch of innocent kids, babies who haven’t even seen a glimpse of what life had planned for them. There is a very thin line between a person suffering from mental illness and a person who is just evil, this sick bastard was just evil. He planned everything out he woke up that day knowing he was going to kill kids like what kind of person does that?. And shame on Greg Abbott(the governor of Texas) a massacre of helpless children happened and the best you can tell your people are “let’s keep everybody in our prayers” like no, that is not comforting that is not assuring your people this act of violence will not happen again. Fix the damn gun law, make it more strict, but don’t sit up there on a podium and talk out your ass cause the stuff that you really should be saying is stuff you yourself don’t personally agree with. If there isn’t word on a motion for a gun law change by the end of this week that just shows how much of a fucked up governor you are.

What has felt like a lifetime of waiting, we finally are getting obi wan’s series on Disney plus today. The momentum that is behind this series feels like no other as we wait to find out what happened after revenge of the sith, answering questions we had been longing to get answers for and catching up with familiar faces and new threats. Me personally, I haven’t been this hype for a show since probably stranger things 4 and moon knight, the show is going to deliver and is not going to disappoint fans in anyway.

As the years go by, at times, it feels like the world is only getting worse and not better. The sudden chokehold the pandemic placed upon us, we yet to recover from the economic blow from it, and just when we all think the world was starting to feel normal again, the most sinister act happens. The shooting in Buffalo (just like other mass shootings) set off a chain reaction for more shootings to occur and yesterday it happened, but not to adults, but to babies. These babies haven’t even seen a glimpse of what life had stored for them, all the dreams and aspirations they had was snatched away by a violent act that no one could see coming. As we pray for Texas, lets acknowledge all the children and their families who were affected by this traumatic event and keep all the faculty members of the school in our thoughts also.

With the next phase starting soon, i would like to reflect on one of my all time favorite Spider-Man movie that we would all know as (No Way Home). No way home is probably the best cinematic and saddest Spider-Man movie in the mcu franchise and if not saddest Spider-Man movie than definitely tied with Spider-Man 2, with the next phase and the multiverse being opened there’s a lot of possibilities and opportunities to see the Spider-Man that we know and love in other worlds. It’ll be nice to see what phase 4 has stored for them and it’ll for sure be a journey worth 2 hours of running time and cameos.

An ode to Pose

Pose was a show that can be looked at 10/15 years from now on how impactful it was. It wasn’t just a show about the lgbt, it was a show that highlighted ballroom at its peak in the 80s and the slight decline of it in 1990s. If Paris Is Burning was a tv show then it would be pose. The characters each so different yet all rememberable, after the first season you felt like family to them. What pose captured about the aids virus was how deadly the virus was at its peak. The virus that started as a unknown illness known as GRID, would claim lives of many throughout the 80s through sex, sharing needles and even blood transfusions. Pose taught love,appreciation, and it left the space for open mindedness.

When you think about Queens of the 90s who never got enough recognition Tatyana Ali is definitely one of them/just like sister sister we spent a few years growing up together/On fresh prince I remember her for being more quiet and to herself but when you did see her on screen you was struck by her beauty/she definitely was one of the most beautiful women of her time I would rank her up there with tia and tamers/to queen Ali you’re appreciated and we thank you ❤️

When I think back on family matters the name definitely lives up to the show cause it proves family did matter/the first few seasons were corny I never find myself watching any of the old episodes until about season 4/but one thing I did love a lot more than the amazing cast and the chemistry of the show was the love of Steve and Laura/to see it blossom for so many years and then it finally happened it was a blessing and long overdue in my perspective but late is better than never

When I think back on sister sister/the happiness the nostalgia that it brung/reminding me of my childhood/what i loved about the show was the concept/twin sisters living their day to day lives and as the years went by we grew with them from middle school to college and the amazing references to the culture with freak-nik and the constant guest appearances of our culture figures of the time and constant pop up of roger/to Tia and Tamers i thank you ❤️
