I think - in some hypothetical, other Batman story where Harvey is the primary Big Bad - the unveiling of Bruce being Batman would be what defeats him. No takedown, no dying, no getting beat down. Just the concept of his best friend also being his worst enemy would fuck with his sense of duality. It would bring him to a psychological lock.

But obviously he has already put the pieces together beforehand, even before he became Two-Face, through several means.

And then they kiss or something, IDK.

Don't look too long or you'll notice the animation mistakes, but it's a learning process and we ball IG.

autism is so fucking hated, you arent allowed to be high functioning because youre "faking it", you arent allowed to be low functioning because youre "faking it" and all of us are expected to just try harder and "stop acting stupid" (which is extra insidious when intellectual disabilities are so commonly comorbid with autism)

oh you need some help with getting things done? grow up

oh you need someone to remind you to shower/take meds/etc? grow up

oh youre nonverbal/nonspeaking or lose speech at times? just Talk

oh you Cant Eat unless its This Specific Food? grow up

oh you dont understand when something is dangerous? stop being stupid

oh you need lots of help with bADLs? youre a leech. do it yourself

oh you need a caregiver in order to keep yourself alive? youre so dramatic, everyone else manages just fine without one, why cant you?

oh you can get around for the most part in day-to-day life but need extra support in some areas? youre just exaggerating, youre not really autistic

autistic people are literally never allowed to just exist in society. we are always expected to prove something, whether thats being autistic or being human beings that deserve respect

youre either not autistic enough or too autistic for allistics and its really fucking annoying. autism is a real disability and those of us who are autistic live with it every single day. it can be extremely disabling or it can be a bit of a nuisance or it could be both or somwhere in between or fluctuate depending on the day

stop shaming autistic people for being autistic in a way you dont like or arent used to seeing. that goes for everyone, other autistic people included

I watched a video break down about "Literally Me" type characters in film that men idolize and breaking down why men feel the need to look to these anti heroes and villains as role models

The likes of Patrick Bateman, Louis Bloom, Travis Bickle, Arthur Fleck, characters in Fight Club and such.

And the video was interesting and delving into the complicated relationship men have with masculinity that drives them and these characters to do what they do.

But then they end the video with "If we took the good qualities these characters strive for and put them together we would have a great model and something to really strive for."

And I dead ass has a *jazz music stops* solid snake "!" Moment because NO

That is NOT what the point of these films are

Quite literally striving for success and their ideals of masculinity is what drives these men crazy and either drives them into bitter ends or into worse people. They all literally try to conform themselves to a standard of what they think a man should be and go crazy trying to obtain it or end up completely miserable or devoid of humanity

Do not fool yourself into thinking following Louis Bloome grindset or Patrick Batemans routines will make you a better man that's not the point!!!!!!!
