Hello there!

Some time ago, I asked if anyone would be interested in a SHCO/SHTA fanweek.

The post got more attention than anticipated, and I am happy to announce that a fanweekend is on the way!

The event is planned for the second May weekend ( May 10 - May 12) this year.

The theme of the event has not been decided yet, but I will start a poll soon so we can all decide on the theme together 😊

Last but not least, the event will not focus on SHCO/SHTA only. Fans of the older games are very welcome to participate as well!

So how would you feel about a SHCO/SHTA fanweek?

What i mean is an event during everyone shares their Chapter One/The Awakened related creations to celebrate these two games.

The creations can be art, fanfics, essays, gifs/edits, videos, cosplays, or just anything you can do to contribute.

Most such events have an overarching theme for each day of the week, but our fandom is small and maybe a whole week would be too difficult to pull off. Maybe we can just do a fan-weekend or even a fan-day. The details can be decided later on, right now I would like to know if anyone would be interested in participating at all 🙂

A friends - to - enemies - to - lovers story about two childhood friends separated by opposing practices - mavericks who wield the arcane and warriors who boast physical prowess. After a decade of distance, the two friends are forced to work together to protect the arcane and/or their kingdom. 

The Rune Project

Still in development! But, in it’s current form, I imagine it to be a post-apocalyptic world that allows for an exploration of relationships, society, value, and choice.

Posting a drawing WIP in hopes of manifesting a mostly finished piece soon, since my fanfiction is undoubtably going to take me some time (in a good way lol)

Not surprisingly, I'm struggling a lot with the hands, so I deemed it worthy of another day's work. I just love how expressive and important hands can be in determining characters' relationships, so I'd like to do them justice, especially with these two 🤍😭

I laughed when I saw this after opening the game again for some research (yes research lol) I really wanted to think of some quick witted remark, but alas, was unable. Maybe those of you who have played are more creative lol

On my note of research...if any of you happen to remember the song that Jon sings while standing in a wooden boat in a dried up canal somewhere on the map (I know, the detail in there is super helpful lol) I would be quite appreciative and equally impressed!

Popping in to share a random WIP because I don't have enough people who know about Sherlock Holmes Chapter One in real life lol hoping our small fandom here will appreciate this

I've gotten into bullet journaling and paper crafting, and, on a whim, decided to try and start up a Chapter One themed journal lol (and, no, it has nothing to do with the fact that I've rewatched the beginning of Chapter One too many times to count...)

My idea was to have each page represent different parts of the game. So I started with the very first line from our beloved Jon, the "We'll go together" quote, then Il Palazzo del Lusso, and Vogel's intro (featuring a rough sketch of the statue of David to represent classic art things lol) (Fun fact: I took quite a few art history classes in college. Not as fun fact: I can't say I remember too much lol but I'm definitely revisiting that era of my life lol)

This is still very much a WIP that will likely fit in when I have spare time and am inspired outside of my other work/life schedule. But I was excited nonetheless to be able to appreciate this incredible game in another form 🤍

Shelter in the Storm

A Frogwares’ Sherlock Holmes inspired fanfiction 

Author’s Note: I adore writing scenes of Sherry and Jon and what they might have gotten up to during their time in Cordona lol 

Summary:  A storm has kept Sherlock and Jon confined to Stonewood for several days. In true Holmes fashion, Sherlock tries to bury his restlessness in his work, but his want for focus clashes with Jon's own need for distraction, and their tempers collide. Abandoning the cases he had been trying to work on, Sherlock tries to find a way to soothe the dissonance between them.

Current Time: Early Evening

Current Mood: decent/mildly productive lol Had a weight training session, which usually puts me in a better mood, and I've been missing creating, so trying to get some more work in today!

Currently Thinking About: Coffee. My family gifted me a milk frother recently, and I've been obsessed with making little fancy coffee drinks now lol Also Sherlock and Jonathan. They've basically taken over my mind since I played Chapter One lol

Current Favorite Song: Buck by Coogie

Currently Reading: The Whole Art of Detection by Lyndsay Faye - I've just started, but if you enjoy Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, there is so much domesticity, even within the first chapters, that I would highly recommend! It was also written with ACD's writing style in mind, so it's been really fun to read! I haven't gotten around to reading ACD's original work, but I think this book will help get me into it at some point.

Currently Watching: I don't actually watch too many shows, but lately my siblings and I have been rewatching The Granada Television Series Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett as Sherlock. It's become quite the comfort show for us, and Jeremy Brett is just perfection 🤍 Other recent rewatches include The Office, Kim's Convenience, and a teeny bit of Voltron. I’m not sure if replaying Frogwares Chapter One counts as currently watching lolll 

Current Wips: I'm actually trying to write a first draft for an original story! It's a friends-to-enemies-to lovers story about two childhood friends that are separated by opposing masteries - magic and martial arts - and are forced (after 10 years of not seeing each other) to work together on an important mission for their home kingdom. It's basically a fantasy, action/adventure, romance that explores the similarities between seemingly different practices - it's also gay lol if you think you might be interested, feel free to follow!

As for fanfiction, Frogwares' Sherlock Holmes games have overtaken my brain, so a lot of my ideas are for that fandom at the moment lol some things I have in the works (if I ever finish them) are:

Modern AU where Sherlock investigates a murder at the gym that Jon goes to (they don't know each other in this idea)

A possible AU where Sherlock and Watson find a real Jon during one of their investigations (set after The Awakened). This would be a chance for me to see how the three of them might interact together while solving a new case.
